Zhou Yu Min ZZ stays in Wen Shan District, Taipei. It was suspected that the remote control's battery got overheated and overcharged causing cables to catch up fire due to intensive heat. Luckily, his family members, brother and his girlfriend were evacuated immediately. Therefore theres is no cases of injuries or death reported. However, the fire grew bigger and have overwhelmed the whole apartment which is just renovated..worth 300,000+. Simultaneously, ZZ was in the process of shooting and after receiving news that he's house is on fire, he quickly requested for half-day leave and went back to his house. Zaizai then moved all remnants of his belongings to somewhere else and his family members faced depression.

Last evening, ZZ's house built on 7th Storey in Wan Ning Street was in fire suddenly. ZZ's brother Zhou Wei Ming and his girlfriend were preparing to work, and not believing his eyes, he saw the living room was devoured by smoke. Then flames continued to burn. ZWM thought he can handle the fire alone, he quickly dashed out of the door and took two fire extinguisher by the stairs. However, the condition become so critical that what ZWM can do is to escape with his girlfriend and call for help.

Once the 2 got out of the building they immediately contacted the police. After the fire station recieved this report they immediately sent more than 10 fire engines and 50 fire fighters to extinguish the fire. Fortunately, the fire was extinguished in about 10 minutes.

At 6am yesterday morning, ZZ left to film "Mars." At 8am he recieved a call and rushed home. Although the house is registered under ZZ's name, but because he was not at the scene when the fire happened, the police only asked him a few questions and then they let him leave. And ZZ didn't say a word to the media.

Afterwards, ZZ's broker, Zhi Xiang Li expressed that because ZZ's not in a very good mood, the drama crew gave him the whole day off for ZZ and his family to be together.

Yesterday afternoon, ZZ's management company also sent people to help ZZ move ZZ's belongings to a relative's home. Zhi Xiang Li said, "In Taipei, besides his brother, he also has other relatives. As for who they are, it is not convenient for us to reveal."

On another hand, after this misfortune, ZZ's broker Zhi Xiang Li expressed that ZZ is willing to compensate for all the damages done to his neighbors. Zhi Xiang Li said that after the fire was extinguished, ZZ immediately asked a purity company to help clean up the scene and also coordinated with other households hoping to return everyone's lives back to normal as soon as possible. According to what's known, at the present, besides the doors of his neighbors destroyed and water leaks downstairs, the rest is good. But ZZ told his management company to say that he's willing to talk with the families about the compensation issue. The insurance company also visited the scene to estimate the cost for the damages yesterday.

Yesterday afternoon ZZ Vic Zhou's house caught on fire. Luckily he bought insurance so the cost for damages isn't that big. And as for his current filming of "Mars," because there are many dangerous racing scenes, the drama crew also bought him 10,000,000 dollars worth of insurance (500,000 new dollars) to insure his safety.

Ever since March of last year, the four has rarely appeared together in public. In order to film a new Pepsi commerical, F4 comes together once again and went to Jordan together. During that time there were also rumors saying that Jerry was excluded by F4. In order to investigate the truth about F4 not getting along, a reporter stuck closely to F4 during the 3 hours from Taiwan to HK.

7pm on April 18th, F4 arrived at Taipei Zhong Zheng Airport and was on flight cx451 to HK. The four talked and laughed the entire trip and appeared to be excited. When they were departing, the four were chatting endlessly and almost forgot to go through the gates. F3 kept on asking Vanness, who wore a thick coat, if he was hot. The result was that Vanness couldn't take it any longer and took the coat off.

When waiting for the plane indoors, the 4 also chatted endlessly. But once the subject continously revolved around ZZ, F3 was very worried about ZZ's academic performance and kept on asking him about his test results. This annoyed ZZ. After going through besieges, this further changed ZZ's expression.

Jerry: Have you taken final exams yet?

Afraid of airplanes, bad mood
When ZZ saw that they could board the plane he didn't have the least bit of smile and got on. When he got to his seat he was expressionless. He sat at the side not speaking. When F3 were eating the airplane meals, ZZ didn't even drink a drop of water. He just closed his eyes the entire journey. It's unknown if he was discontent because he was opposed and besiege by F3.

F4 arrived at the HK airport around 9pm and ZZ was still in a bad mood. Afterwards, F4 was arranged to go to the airport's dining hall. At around 10pm F4 had to take flight ek383. A reporter chased ZZ and asked him if he was worried about the chaos in Jordan. ZZ answered, "No." When he was asked why he was in a bad mood, Ken, who was at the side, laughingly said, "He's like this everytime he boards an airplane."

ZZ has a small fear of flying planes. ZZ was once advised not to take a plane often because there might be accidents. Besides work, ZZ rarely travels. In the past year, because of some air problems, the plane that was originally going to land took off again after 10 sec. At that time the F4 were scared to death, even Vanness was constantly praying.

After this, Zai Zai became very scared of boarding and flying on airplanes. Usually, the night before he will stay up all night so he would be able to sleep once he boards the plane, if he can't sleep, Zai Zai will sit there quietly and F3 will not bother him. When asked about whether Zai Zai is afraid of riding airplanes, he will become very embarressed and reply, "It's all right!"

Said to have problems, feelings haven't changed

When F4 is said to have problems (when placed together), Jerry's being in Jordan is excluded by F3. F4 has already become used to these sorts of rumours and the usual leader Jerry Yan comments, "From the beginning we never had problems. We may not see each other very much, but our feelings towards each other hasn't changed." Beside him, Vanness also comments, "We are four people with one heart. Sometimes, we separate to work but we aren't actually separated, just like how I was so moved they came to the premiere of my movie in Taiwan."
Ken is no longer angered by these rumours. "It's been written so many times and explained so many times that we've decided just not to be bothered with it." Zai Zai agrees, "I don't bother with it. All that matters is that when we work together, we are happy."

Good Attributes, Bad Attributes
Jerry is F4's leader, the 'da ge', good attributes is that he is serious with his work, but the bad attributes is that he is too much of a perfectionist!
Vanness and Zai Zai really admire Jerry's work ethics, he is always the most punctual, but at the same time, Jerry's need for perfection creates a sort of stress and pressure. Ken gives an example, "Jerry is very serious about his work, a perfectionist. He gives himself too much pressure. The three of us will only continually support and encourage him."

Vanness is the most 'active' one, good attributes is that he is kindhearted, bad attributes is that he is stubborn!
Vanness is the best listener, Zai Zai, Jerry and Ken often go to him to discuss their inner thoughts. He is very kind hearted and cares for friends without being asked to, but while Vanness loves his job, the quality he seeks in his work is not much lower than Jerry. He is very stubborn with his work, and will not rest until he reaches his goal.

Ken is the caregiver (babysitter) of F4, good attributes is that he is meticulous, bad attributes is his lack of independence.
Jerry believes Ken is more meticulous than a girl. He says, "Whenever I am not feeling well, I don't have to say a word. Ken will notice and immediately bring me some medicine. Zai Zai's daily eating habits are overlooked by Ken, so he often gets to taste his dishes. Vic (Zai Zai) is the 'happy-go-lucky' one in F4, good attributes is his contagious happiness, bad attributes is that he is lazy!
Zai Zai always cracks cold jokes (lame jokes) to cheer F3 up, whenever F3 is around, Zai Zai becomes very lazy, and doesn't like to talk. Whenever he is asked a question, he would point at the others and say, "Just ask them!" Zai Zai admits he is a lazy person, the best is that he doesn't have to work and someone will even spoon food into his mouth.

Increasing Fame
F4 rose to fame through Asia from the drama Meteor Garden, Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Ken Zhu and Vanness Wu ended up as the red-hot F4 in the entertainment circle. Their first album, Meteor Rain had sold over one hundred thousand copies, and the four became 'Taiwan's Commercial Kings', their income for commercials reach and even surpass ten million Hong Kong Dollars.

Year 2003, F4 separated and advanced solo, after performing the Pepsi Concert in Hong Kong on March 8th of the past year, apart from filming motorcycle and fashion commercials, F4 rarely gathered together. The nine stars shot a large-scale chasing scene in a local forest of hoodoo, called Pepra.
Because the story was about a can of Pepsi stolen by a child,
the nine stars had to chase each other and climbed mountains and treaded waters.
A scene of Zaizai flying up the eaves and walking on the walls was extremely thrilling.
The story blended high-tech and science fiction together.
After finishing shooting, the director greatly praised their performances.

After finishing the commercial,
the nine stars took pictures in the magnificent scene as mementos.

The staff had just arrived when I got to the hospital.
We watched staff busily moving equipments;
even the director was helping moving chairs.
We had waited for quit a while before the shooting started.
I asked Director Cai to sign my digital camera;
I don't know what he was laughing about?

ZaiZai came out the parking out
and went directly into a hospital resting room.

When it started,
there was only DaS (Her hair was very pretty!) and XiaoXiao.
The first scene was the two of them in the hallway outside the emergency room.
It was difficult to shoot
because they were many people and stretchers coming and going in the area.

It was a minor scene but it took two hours to finish.
Finally it was finished, and XiaoXiao went to the resting room.
Because the door was open, my friend saw ZaiZai memorizing script inside.
Again, we waited a long time before ZaiZai came out.
ZaiZai wore a black sweater and AJuan came with him to the hallway.

ZaiZai and DaS started playing.
Watching them playfully hitting each other,
it seemed ZaiZai was on the losing side.
ZaiZai had met his match.
I felt ZaiZai was somewhat bullying XhuWei a little bit
when they were shooting a basketball scene at the Yuan Zhi University.

However, this time in “Mars,” Zai Zai will be portraying a motorcycle racer. On camera, when you look, he’s ruthless and handsome in a powerful and fearful manner. Mars spent 7 million NT dollars filming on location in Sendai Japan for a week.
Because of Japan's high living expense,
everyone thought it would have cost a fortune to have 300 Japanese extras
to cheer ZaiZai on at the racing circuit.
Wrong. Mars crew didn't have to spend money.
All 300 extras paid for their own expenses.

Newcomer Mark Dong, who co-stars in Mars and also worked as ZaiZai's translator,
said that these Japanese fans found out from Internet
that Zaizai was going to shoot in Sendai and needed extras.
They formed a group of two days and one night trip to be ZaiZai extras.

In Japan, it is more expensive to travel domestically than internationally.
The highest cost for the ZaiZai Extra Group is 100 thousand Japanese Yen.
But 300 people were quickly filled up.
Japanese fans came from various parts of Japan to meet at Sendai.

Yesterday “Mars” filmed a scene at Mei Di He Bin Park where Zai Zai and Da S ride a vehicle. Da S said frankly, “I won’t even ride a bicycle. Telling me to ride a motorcycle is even more difficult than deng tian!” Although under the order of Director Cai Yue Xun, Da S sat on the vehicle to practice for quite some time, the vehicle just wouldn’t obey. As for the bed scenes that everyone is most looking forward to, Da S said that she isn’t as worried about them. She will try her best to coordinate with what the director feels it should be filmed. A few days ago, Zaizai was shooting Mars at Yuan Zhi University in ChungLi.
On the set, he smiled frequently.
During breaks, he was busy managing his long-hair.
Compared to the racing scenes in Sendai, Japan,
these scenes of running and laughing were indeed much easier.

Vic aka ZZ is finishing the shooting of Mars Zhan Xhen with Barbis Hsu. And now he has been offered a new role in drama series called Golden Voice Zhou Xuan.

Golden Voice Zhou Xuan itself has a story that similar to Endless Love, the favourite Korean series. But this time instead of a girl, a boy in the story is an adopted-child.

The producer of this series said that he chose ZZ instead of other artists because there is a similarity of image between ZZ and the character in the series. This series will have the first shoot on August this year.

It is said that ZZ is still reading the script and hasn't make any decision. So...better wait for the final answer....

How was Vic Zhou in the flesh?

Cute, yes and very engaging. Our interview was done at way past 7 pm and Vic Zhou was dead tired by then, having graced a myriad of activities lined up for him by Sony Music (which is releasing Remember, I Love You) earlier and faced fans from all over the region that same afternoon, highlighted by the rendition of few songs from his album. But then, Vic Zhou, only 22, was nice (an understatement). If he was tired, he didn’t show it or let it bother him. He was the giggly type, breaking into boyish giggles before answering my questions through his interpreter. He spoke no English at all.

He’s of light build, weighing 145 lbs and standing 5’9”. He said he’s a rooster (the interview coincided with the start of the Chinese Lunar Year), born on June 9, 1981; a Gemini in the Western Horoscope. Care to know even his blood type? Yes, “O”.

Since he’s going solo on his new album, I asked him whatever happened to his fellow F4s (Jerry Yan/Dao Ming Si, Ken Zhu/Xi Men, and Vanness Wu/Mei Zuo). How come they were not with him?

Again, with that boyish giggle, Vic Zhou replied, “Jerry is working on his own solo album while Ken and Vanness are working separately somewhere else.”

No, they haven’t disbanded, contrary to persistent rumors. Like other boy bands, they are still intact although they each pursue individual careers. Vic Zhou recalled that the last time he saw the three other F4s was late last year at the premiere of Vanness’ movie Star Runner (shown in Manila recently) in their native Taiwan.

Remember, I Love You, according to Vic Zhou, is different from his other album, Make A Wish.

“I have elevated my kind of music,” he explained, again with that boyish giggle. “Two years ago, my fans were younger; they have since grown older with me. I try to adjust my music to their age, to their taste.”

Vic Zhou was in the Philippines twice last year, along with the rest of F4, but all he remembered of those visits was the insides of the hotels they were billeted in. They had no time to go around.

“But I also remember how passionate Filipino fans were,” he said.

His body is well-trimmed, beautifully conditioned. I asked Vic Zhou how he maintained it.

“I work out. I do dumbbells. I exercise a lot. No, I don’t diet. I eat anything. I hardly gain weight because I exercise a lot.”

Busy as he and the other F4 guys are, Vic Zhou regrets not having enough time for recreation. But he said he does go out with Vanness, Ken and Jerry when they get the chance – “To drink a little bit.”

In his spare time, he’d rather stay home and play video games.

“Or I simply stay in bed, my favorite spot at home. When not sleeping, I just sit there and think.”

Sadly, he sighed, he doesn’t have a love life. “Zero” was how he rated his love life. He confessed having four or five girlfriends so far and one terrible heartbreak when he was in high school when a girl he was so in love with dumped him, making him lose sleep and weight. “It was terrible,” said Vic Zhou, minus the boyish giggle.

The pain was matched only by the one caused by his grandfather’s death and his parents’ separation. He decided to stay with his mother. His father had a new family.

“My mother took good care of me that’s why I now want to take good care of her. I want to make her happy by giving her everything she wants. I want to give her a good life,” said Vic who revealed that his family wasn’t rich, exactly, but he did have a happy childhood.

Success, however, hasn’t affected him at all. He has remained level-headed, humble and kind to everybody. He’s respectful and well-mannered. He would bow to greet somebody being introduced to him and bow (again) as a gesture of goodbye, putting hands together, Thai style, while doing so.

What could be the biggest fear of a 22-year old who’s on the top of the world, very popular in the whole of Asia, adored by millions of fans?

“Myself,” Vic Zhou said, again with that boyish giggle. “Why? Because I don’t know my own limits. Evertime I take a step, I don’t know where it would take me that’s why I am afraid of myself.

This advertisment not only use a Zaizai picture, but even wrote,Zhou Yu Min-Min Ge You Jian Mian Hui. On the right, it wrote, " You can choose not to believe, but do not regret." And the advertisment was written, 1st of April-April's Fool Day. This news caused Zaizai fans to be so excited. Yesterday afternoon, many fans started calling up our newspapers to know whether this news was true, causing reporters to listen with a pool of water.

In order to find out the truth, reporter called up the pub. When called there, the person at the pub was even more fed-up than the reporter, " How come i haven't heard of it?" Reporter said he knew it from a advertisment, at this time, the person said , " This, i am not sure, if you want, you can ask my lao zhong." When i manage to get Lao Zhong to be on the phone, he laughed and said, " It's only a april fools joke, and you treat it as real!" As what he said, he had this advertisment was to have a april fools joke for fans. " In fact, you can see we have printed the 3 big words, April Fools Day, should know it isn't real. However, the fans were too excited, and didn't realise our hint." Actually, there was this look-alike singer Zhou Yu Min in the pub tonight, but he isn't from F4 but just a singer from the pub.

This advertisment that caused the misunderstandings in fans, Mr Li finds that its , " Charity in Tease " "In fact, fans who called up understood the situation , and most of them were very understanding, some even felt that it was meaningful!" However, in the rules of law, it was a crime. But, as it was april's fool, it was let off if not it won't be too good a situation.

Sony Music singers totally won 14 awards in Pepsi-Music-Chart Award.
It is the record company which won the most awards,
and yet none of the winners was present to accept the awards.
All awards were accepted by a representative who was hissed by audience.
Even the president of one sponsor couldn’t help but complaining on stage.

The 4th annual Pepsi-Music Award had 61 categories.
Nan Su, Eason Chen, and Jay Zhou were the three biggest winners across China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
Jay received 8 awards, Fay Wong three awards, plus, F4, Vic Zhou, and Jolin Chai one award each;
Sony Music won 14 awards; more than one 5th of total awards,
but Sony singers were all absent from the award ceremony.

Audience booed at the representative who went on stage to received awards.
When the last category was awarded to Jay,
the president of Light Co. openly criticized
”Some record companies do not know the rules.”
He then agitatedly claimed that none of the award winners won by negotiation.

Reportedly, some source said that Sony Music attempted to get big awards for Leehom Wang and failed.
Eventually Wang did not get any award.
It makes people think this might be related to all singers’ not showing up as a group.

before filming, the crew have to clear up the wet floor full of snow.but the floor was still slippery

zazia's subtitute went in the bike, but due to weather, the bike caught fire so he flew out of the bike but was hit by the another bike which approach him.luckily he was not seriously hurt and zaizai not in the bike.

zaizai kept saying 'afraid', when the weather improve they continue to film but zaizai was afraid to skid and fell down

Then let me say something about Mars’ filming on our campus.
The crew has been to our campus very frequently.
On my way back to the dorm,
I happened to see Zaizai sitting on a bench waiting for his term.
The reason was because the set was still being constructed.
Big S walked by herself to a convenience store.

From what I’ve observed, they were shooting a raining scene,
although it did not rain today.
They were shooting at the Art Museum on Friday.
I don’t know about the details.
All I know is that they were shooting something.
And I saw him walking here and there.
I can’t give a clear description.

He sat there and looked blank.
There was a young girl sitting with him on the bench.
I’m sorry I don’t know who she is.
First, I thought it was some student from our college,
but it seemed unlikely.
After all, they were sitting on the same bench.
They weren’t talking; the two of them were looking at the set.

He seemed quieter today.
Last time when I passed him,
he was chatting happily with people around him.
I didn’t pay attention to his clothes.
As this is Mars, he probably was wearing something in red.

Mars starring Yumin Zhou and XiYuan Xu went to Sendai Japan to shoot racing scenes.

To make Zaizai¡¯ character, Ling, looks more like the professional racer depicted in the Comic, Mars crew spent a fortune of 500 thousand NT dollars hiring a Japanese designer to design Zaizai¡¯s two racing suits and two helmets.

While at work in Japan, what impressed Yumin Zhou most was the warm-up exercise of shoveling snow every morning before work. Whether it was an actor, an actress or a staff member, everyone had to shovel the snow on the racetrack before filming could be started. To ensure actors¡¯ highest safety, sometimes they even had to use heaters to melt and dry the leftover snow.

The Japanese production crew specifically hired many racers who have ranked top three in Japan many Grand Prix as Zaizai¡¯s stand-ins. Members of Mars crew were all very appreciated of it. Producer ZhiPing Chai kept on saying:¡± We all have to be very careful in safety measure. Should any accident happen, we won¡¯t be able to afford the damage.¡±

One very scared thing happened when they were shooting racing scenes. The director asked a professional racer to do a demo in one of Zaizai¡¯s racing scenes. It was a scene where groups of motorcycles sped forward simultaneously at the start line. Zaizai¡¯s stand-in started the motorcycle and jumped off his motorcycle when he saw the one in front of him collapsed because its engine died. The stand-in¡¯s motorcycle slid and hit the one in front of it. Everyone was in shock by the series of crashes. Meanwhile, before he could get up, Zaizai¡¯s stand-in was hit by the motorcycle rushing from behind at him. He suffered from shock and was unconscious for a while.

After the ambulance arrived, when the paramedical personnel was just about to lift the stand-in racer to a stretcher to take him to a hospital, miraculously he suddenly woke up. Everybody was relieved. Zaizai watching the whole thing kept on saying that it was so dangerous. If he had been the one on the motorcycle, he couldn¡¯t image what could have happened.
