Ack! There's a hetishist on my desktop! Get him off! >.<
Kidding ^^ I was tired of Akabane-san ever-present on it, so I made a wallpaper myself. Featuring Dominique Clay Hadell & Sheala of Count Cain. It started as a layout project, but somehow there wasn't much place to fit the tables in, so I gave it up. 800x600 1024x768 And speaking of Xell (mental shortcut ^^) - does anyone know exactly where did he disappear to? Yesterday on the news they showed the polish troops going to Iraq and, I could swear, one soldier looked exactly like Xell, only with his hair shorter o.O I'm worried. Zeru-kun, if you're reading this: I don't care if you're fulfilling your patriotic duty, seeking adventure or whatever else - it's NOT a reason to cut your hair! I told you never to do it again. Lucky sis will see The Pirates of the Caribbean before me >.< It opens in France on the 13th, whereas the date of the polish premiere is still unknown. Certainly not in August -_- I've downloaded the trailer today: *sparkles in eyes* "I-use-more-eye-liner-then-Mana" Johnny Deep and "uke-desu" Orli as merry, cheery, jolly, add-a-synonym-yourself pirates - it's a must see ^__^ But I'm not jealous of sis. No no no. She's gone, and it's the best thing that could happened to me. It's amazing how much the lack of her presence can change. I feel like a new person. I feel free! I knew I had a bit of a big sister complex (*goes into Yuuta-mode* Imouto janai!), but did she really have such an influence on me. Or maybe it's just that I finally have my own room. It is said that having it's parents divorced has a fundamental impact on a child's whole life. But it's nothing compared to the factor of having or not a room of it's own. For you see - children living alone learn to go out to people whereas those shearing a room learn to run away from them and seek privacy at every cost. Which one is more adaptable to life? Oh, and I found my saints. Cute ne?

BGM ¯ Last Exile OST - Over the Sky (Ed)
Two surveys, I snitched from her: * How long have you been into anime/manga? 3 years seriously. (I DON'T count the dark age of SM & DB) * What is your favorite anime? Fruits Basket * What is your favorite manga? X, Angel Sanctuary, Hikaru no Go * Who is your favorite character over all? The one and only Katou-sama * Who is your favorite male character? The afore mentioned Katou and a whole herd of bishies, led by the ones, seen on the left * Who is your favorite female character? Tohru Honda (FB), Mamimi Samejima (FLCL), Mayura Daidouji (Loki), Satsuki Yatouji (X), Dorothy Catalonia (GW) * What is your favorite canon couple? Define "canon". To me Treize/Zechs is even more canon then Sei/Su * What is your favorite non-canon couple? Yuuto/Shougo! Oh wait, that's canon too ;) So… Akutsu/Momo (PoT) Don't you think those two would look MRRRAU together? ^_^ * What is your favorite yaoi/shounen ai couple? Not wishing to repeat myself, I take it that this question is about a couple from a yaoi/sa manga. Um, Adrian/Lawrence of Boys Next Door are yaoish enough. Ooh, and I loved Selem/Yuni from Takashima's Wild Rock. * Do you buy doujinshi? Yes! *is proud of herself* * If you do buy doujinshi, how many do you have? …1… -_- *is no longer proud of herself* * Do you go to any conventions? Hai! Which reminds me - back in France I incidentally ended up going to Japan Expo. It was rather a big con. Something like our domestic Asucon, only 4 times bigger. The thing is, I was deprived of the best part of it - talking. Apart from a chat with a thankfully English speaking girl, who was almost about to cry, when she thought I bought the last Gackt poster (luckily there was one more), I didn't speak to anyone at all, so half of the fun was lost. Ah well. About the French fandom: Saint Seiya is really big there. You could see all of the stands filled with SS releted stuff. Could someone explain to me, how did I end up buying two adorable fanarts of chibi Saga and Milo? (I wanted to scan them, but I have no idea about their current whereabouts. Later, ne). OK, J-Expo rant END. Back to the survey at hand. * Do you cosplay? Didn't have the pleasure to. Yet. * If you do cosplay, who have you cosplayed as or who are you planning to? Saa… * How many Japanese mangas do you own? Um, let me see… *goes to her shelf and starts to count* 1…2…3…4…5…6…oooh - God Child! *storms off to swoon over her GC /again/, abandoning the counting* * How many anime DVDs do you own? None ;_; * Manga or anime? Tough question. Anime has the advantage of Seiyuu though. *Shounen or shoujo? And here, I will surprise everyone by saying shounen. What's funny, the things I search for in the shounen anime are everything that reminds me of shoujo. It's more interesting that way. Because I don't like having everything served on a plate before me. Only in shounen, there can exist something like a coincidental bishounen (who hasn't got "My sole purpose of existence is to make the likes of you drool yourselves to death, making my creator rich and famous" written all over him with letters so big, that you can't really see the bish underneath them) and the blessed thing, that is PASSIONATE MALE FRIENDSHIP (undeniably better then actual yaoi). * Do you like hentai? Only if there are no girls ;P 1. Anime you've seen the most times: Evangelion (after the 20th time I stopped counting (ep 24, naturally ^^)) & X movie 2. Character you'd go to a Con as: do I really have to? 3. Absolute fav. Anime Guy: Katou Yue! 4. Absolute fav. Anime Girl: Tohru Honda 6. Your thoughts on Dragon Ball Z: Only because of the fact that DB was what got me into m&a, I'll spare my opinion. 7. Your thoughts on Sailor Moon: DB's opposite pole. I don't know which is worse. 8. Does your family like Anime?: My sister does. I'm still thanking heaven for that. 9. Do you dream in Anime: Yeah. And sometimes in manga (it's a funny experience to speak in bubbles) 10. Do you love Bishounen/Bishoujo?: Bishounen? What are those? They probably have cooties XP 11. Collect any Manga?: Isn't manga all about collecting 12. Who's the goddess of manga artists?: Kaori Yuki. No discussion. 13. The god?: Yoshiyuki Sadamoto. Nobuteru Yuki would be, if only he would finally draw his own manga. 14. Your absolute fav. VA would be?: Okiayu Ryoutarou, who else ;) 15. If you could join the cast of any anime/manga which would you choose?: I found this question unclear, so I'll give two answers. If it's "cast" as in "character cast", then a cute series like Furuba, Sakura or Loki. I wonder how long would I survive in a world full of shiny happy people. Now if "cast" means "seiyuu cast", then anything that would require me being in one room with Okiayu, preferably doing the sound effects of being molested by him ;)~ 16. Fav. Martial Artist: Not really my thing. GB doesn't count as martial arts, right? 17. Fav. Space Alien: Ayame XD 18. Fav. Magical 19. Fav. Mech/Mech operator: Kaworu! But then, Toreizu-sama also falls under that category… 20. Fav. Police Officer: Our friendly neighborhood detective Hubb Lebowski of Wolf's Rain :) 21. Fav Anime mascot: Sai (HnG) (if he's not a mascot then what else?) 22. Most Annoying male character: Gats (Berserk) Because I can't truly hate any other male chara (maybe apart from that Horio brat from Tenipuri). 23. Most Annoying female character: First place is of course the Une-bitch (GW). Then Cheza (WR), Sara (AS), Caska (Berserk), anime Harada sisters (DN Angel) (the manga ones I could stand), Freya (Loki), Michaela (Cain), Sakuno (PoT), Kozue (Utena)… 24. Anime scene that made you cry: I'm a terrible crybaby if it's about anime. I cry all the time. So maybe only the last time: Loki 11, Frey saying "aishiteiru no da" ;_; It wasn't really sad, but like I said, I'm a crybaby. 25. All time best Villian: *takes a deep breath* Seishirou, Fuu-chan (X) & Muraki (YamiMatsu) (overwise known as the clasic Big Bad Sadistic Seme type), Taishaku-ten (RG Veda), Griffith (Berserk) (lately he's pretty high in my badguy rating), Jezebel and Casandra (what? I loved the pervy High Priest ^_^) (Cain), Akabane, Kagami (GB), Rociel, Sevi (why, oh why did he have to be a girl?!) (AS), Darcia *_* (WR), Hemu-Hemu (Loki) (I'd rather die than call Frey a villain!), Kami-sama, Dougan, Kougaiji, Nii (Saiyuuki), Shougo (X), Clow (CCS) (he IS evil, I tell you!), Akio (Utena), Nakago (FY) Brad (WK) (…). Of course none of them (except from Clow ;)) are really evil - just "misunderstood" *wink* That's why I lo~ove them *hugs all the villains, to their great discontent* 26. Shoujo or Shounen manga: Didn't I answer that one already? 27. Aren't you glad sabashii wrote this?: umm…I guess…I was kind of bored. 28. How long have you been watching Anime?: Since 28th November 2000 (First time I saw Evangelion)

The major flaw of the SEMEAI thing: If it’s about seme/seme relationships, then there can be no talk about the AI part ;)

BGM ¯ Kagrra - Ayashii no Hikari
Home sick indeed - I'm home and I've already came down with a cold T_T If there is anything worse then having a cold in winter, it's having a cold in summer, because it's damn hot and I'm not allowed to eat ice cream! Which doesn't necessarily mean that I don't eat them ;) Mmm, chocolate :3 Ehemm, ladies, what exactly is the meaning of this? Still no X in this month's Asuka? It was supposed to be only a two months break not four! You won't get out of drawing the ending if you keep putting it off… eto, why do I sound like my mother? The number one reason why Go rocks: SEMEAI. Don't you think this word id the best thing since the invention of bishounen? In terms of Go it means "mutual capturing race", but that of course isn't it's true meaning ;) Think SHOUNENAI, only with two gorgeous sadistic manipulative SEME bishies instead of the SHOUNEN part ^__^ I think I finally found a name for my obsession. Woohoo, seme/seme all the way!! Matantei Loki 12 &13 I was surprised with the authenticity of all the minor girl characters. It's amazing how Kinoshita-sensei can capture the complex woman psyche. It almost felt like I was seeing myself in a mirror. See - squeel, hanyan, melt. Amazing ^__^ I wouldn't be worried about Mayura - most likely she's human. Now, Kou-chan is a completely different matter. It would be to obvious if he was Fjord ("Fjord the rich"), but I can't really see him as Frey & Freya's father… And, Veg, you promised to send me a picture of Odin! If he really looks like Ayame then I must see him!
Prince of Tennis 40
Behold, the gayest man ever to walk the face of the earth, now complete with an equally (or even more) gay shirt - Mizuki-sama! I lo~ove him *_____*[I have a weird taste in men, I know ^^;] Saint Beast 3 Nee-san, how could you download it!? It's dumb dumb DUMB! And now I have no other choice but to keep downloading it because apart from Morikawa and Sakurai, now it also has a very nice seme Ishida. Ishi-kun should play seme more often. I definitely prefer his lower voice. Looks like everyone left for their holidays (have fun, minna-san). Sabishii~ ;_; And tomorrow even my dearest Onee-sama leaves me for a month. Since we see each other for only four days in the whole two months, yesterday we spent some sister-sister quality time going out for sushi. It was my first time eating sushi. I didn't think it would be this good. Especially the seaweed thingie :3 I want to eat it again! Thanks to Onee-sama, now I dream of seaweeds ^^; Marr, Ran-chan, congratulations on switching to Eigo!

Ah, now better ^^ Even if it still needed some work. But since I’m in a hurry it will have to do for now.

Tadaima!
So, what did I miss?? ^^; Sure, I loved Paris and stuff, but I'm a terribly homesick person by nature. The place I loved the most was definitely La Defense with it's gorgeous modern buildings. As much as I stayed indifferent to the old architecture of Paris, there, I went into full hanyan mode~. And it was full of J-tourists ^__^ When I met with V-chan, we went on a J-boy hunt together. If anyone was interested, the most are gathered between Louvre and the Opera, along with Junkudo AKA heaven on earth AKA the Japanese bookshop ^_^ Uhuhu, I spent all of my money there and in Tonkam. Came back home with 25 new tankoubons ^_^; Mostly Kaori Yuki stuff, because I love that woman even more then CLAMP (so much that I can't even call her a bitch for making Riff go evil, because I respect her too much (and he's not really evil. It's like in Kafka… Right? ;_;)). And I'm extremely proud of myself for buying my little brothers their first manga - HikaGo :) Let the obsession spread . And speaking of Go - I know how to play it! Nya~~ Father taught me like he promised. hough I probably suck at it -_-; But at least I know the basics. Always a good start. Now to catch up with what's been going on in The Fandom in the last month. This is going to be fun :) |
