HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY~!! Chibi just want to remind people who seems to have forgotten the TRUE meaning of Thanksgiving. As defined in the dictionary, thanksgiving is "an act of expressing gratitude"; it is a day where we GIVE THANKS to people who've helped/cared for us in the past, definitely NOT a day for you to eat lots of Turkey meat... ~_~ *deep sign* The only possible reason Chibi can think of that'll associated Turkeys with Thanksgiving day is because they HELPED those First English Immigrants to survive their first winter in the New World by SACRIFICING THEIR LIVES; they gave up their body for food, so the Pilgrims can have something to eat and survive the cold winter!! If you ask Chibi, Thanksgiving should be a day where all American people pay respect to the Native American [namely Squanto] & those poor Turkeys, for helping those Pilgrims back in the old days!! Chibi's getting quite upset at seeing people celebrating this holiday without acknowledging the truth... Moreover, they are killing more turkey each year in celebrating this national holiday!! Is this the way you say thanks to someone who've done something nice to you? By killing and eating them year after year?... | |

  MERRY HALLOWEEN、皆さん～！So what are your plans for this special day of the year? ^_^ Chibi will be helping out the hunted house at her friend's tutoring center this evening... Time to scare some little kids ^0^ hahaha Chibi'll be wearing a mask, hopfully they won't recognize me and hate me for scaring them~ *cross fingers* Oh, got to remember to bring lots of candy with me when I go there today, bet all those kids will be asking for some candy when I get there ^-^ um... little kids + lots of candy = sugar high!!! There doesn't seems to be much new Anime series that can catch Chibi's attention lately~ -_- *sigh* Since it gets a bit boring after reading for such a long time, Chibi decided to take a look at some recent J-Drama which adopted from two famous Manga -- 花ざかりの君たちへ [Hanazakari no Kimitachi he] & 探偵学園Q [Tantei Gakuen Q] ^__^ heehee Chibi always have a mix feeling towards Live Drama based off of Anime or Manga... Can't say they are all bad, since there are great Live Drama like 金田一少年の事件簿 [Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo] & 逮捕しちゃうぞ [Taiho Shichauzo], which Chibi love dearly ^^ But there are also pretty bad ones... *cough* Sailor Moon Live *cough cough* @_@ So, Chibi've learned not to expect too much from these Drama, and it seems like Chibi made a good choice~ Well, story-wise both Drama are pretty ok, but casting is really not that great... +_+ Chibi always have a feeling that they could've done a better job casting the characters -_- To tell the truth, Chibi can only agree with very few of the cast... *sigh* They did a pretty good choice with casting Mizuki in HanaKimi, but what happened when they cast Sano, Nakatsu, Umeda-sensei & the rest of the guys?!! Come on, that's Chibi's beloved Umeda-sensei~~~!!! T__T *sniff* What happened to Umeda-sensei?!! *deep sigh* Well, the artists' acting skill are not bad, but you'll only find that out after you actually finished watching half of the Drama series... Since Chibi have been a great fan of the original Manga series, the casting of all the characters really bother her a lot... Casting for Tantei Gakuen Q wasn't as bad, but Q-kun & Kinta-san in the Drama just aren't exactly how Chibi was expecting in Live Drama... Well, they did improved a bit, if you've watched the SP episode before this actual Drama, you'll know what I'm talking about; the most noticiable change is they have a new person to cast for Kazuma-kun, which is a really good change ^-^ (the old Kazuma-kun was way too big and tall...) They did a pretty good job with casting Magu-chan & Ryu-kun ^-^ Chibi really like the two of them in the Drama~ And the new Kazuma-kun is pretty good too, too bad they have to make the Drama Kazuma-kun a 14-year-old... Guess, you really can't find elementary kids that are so good with computer everywhere ^0^ hahaha | |

It'd been a long time since Chibi last wrote something here... Recently switched to a new job and have been trying hard to adjust to the new environment ^-^ hahaha Although there's really nothing all that interesting about the new job, Chibi did have some interesting experience at another place... So a friend was asking for help at her tutoring center the other day, and since he was really short on staff that day, and he knew Chibi was off that day, he called Chibi for help. He said he needed someone to help watch over a small group of elementary kids and help them out with their homework. Well, Chibi seriously don't think she will have any trouble with elementary homework, plus they are just a bunch of little kids, how hard can that be? ...Oh, how wrong can Chibi be~~~!!! X_X Well, not that Chibi can't do elementary work, but who knows a bunch of little kids can drain so much energy out of your body?!! They were running around like a bunch of monkey running loose in the jungle~!!! >__< Chibi was only there for a short 3 hours, and she felt like she'd been working there for 12+ hours already~ +_+ *deep sigh* Little kids nowadays are really something... Today is the start of the Annual "End-of-Summer Street Festival" which takes place in Downtown. Since Chibi got out of school early today, she decided to check it out ^^ What Chibi find is that the number of carnival game booths decreases each year, and more and more booth selling food & drinks are taking over. I'm not even sure if this changes is good or bad anymore. To tell the truth, Chibi used to love playing those silly games at the festival, so does a lot of other people. However, the price for each game goes up every year, while the quality of the game & prizes goes down... They charge - per game nowadays and the only prize you get is a 6-inch phony Pooh Bear look-a-like plushies! +_+ What a rip off... A few years back, I used to spent an average at the festival and go home with at least one of those really cute plushies (some are still sleeping at the Chibi's bed right now ^-^ *grin*) plus a really satisfy feeling that I spent a great time with my friends. But these few years... Chibi kept on feeling that this is more like a food festival for all kinds of Restaurants to compete with each other. And it's a lot more reasonable to spend money on food at the festival then the few games at the beat up game booths there. Come on, it's for a slice of special pizza, and for a game of squirt gun that win you a phony plushies... Seems like the choice is pretty obvious... Still, Chibi still think it's a bit sad that the quality of the games had gone bad, and the atmosphere of the street festival had turned into something else... *deep sigh* | |

Chibi's totally outrageous!! \___/ For those interested, the story goes like this...... Some relatives from really far away came to visit Chibi for a few weeks, and since it's Labor Day weekend & Chibi got a few days off she decided to go check if we can join some local tours to towns/cities nearby for a short break. Everything was going well until someone, whom Chibi isn't particularly fond of, told her about this one "so-called" inexpensive travel agency in mid-town; this certain someone insist that Chibi MUST check out their good deals first & so she did... At first, Chibi was only told with the name of the place & a rough location of the place; after spending 10 minutes aimlessly looking for the travel agency on the wrong part of the town, Chibi had to call up this someone again for the phone number. Now, a call was made, and the exact location of the place was given by the agency's owner. Everything seems to be ok up till this part, but here comes the interesting part... The travel agency is located on the third floor of an semi-old building, without elevator & has really long stairs. After Chibi climbed all the way up there, she found the travel agency with their door wide open & walked in. Now, under normal circumstances, at 3PM on Friday you'd expect someone to be sitting at the front desk answering questions... But when Chibi walked inside, there were nobody there to speak to. Chibi yelled out to see there's anyone else there, that's when the two owners made some noise from inside their office and told her to go right inside. So she did and found the two owners chatting and eating lunch there...
Chibi: "Excuse me, Sir. Sorry to bother your lunch..." Male Owner: "...Yea, but only one with open spots leaves late and come back late." C: "Oh... That wouldn't do, I don't think any of my companions want to come back too late." M.O: "Well, either way, you can't go dressing the way you look now. We take people to visit semi-high class places. They won't let you in dressing like you." C: "...O__O ...Well, please give me a few minutes, I'll call my companions up and see what they decide first." Female Owner: "Well, you got to decide if you want these spots now, we can't wait for you forever, you know." | |

Went off to a short break, away from school & work, and finally recovering from my illness ^__^ It was a good thing that I took my doctor's advice. Guess Chibi really was too stressed out during the past few months... Was ordered not to do anything besides answering email for the past month, so I wasn't able to update this little place of mine either -__- *sigh* But it's alright, Chibi's finally back~!!! Now that Chibi's finally allow back online to do all the stuffs that I love to do, guess what's the first thing that caught all her attention? Nope, it wasn't Anime, Manga, nor Novel this time... Chibi was invited to join Ragnarok Online~!!! O___O Chibi've been a very bad RPG player all these years, who'd have thought she'll give in to "peer pressure(?)" and actually join the game? But, because Chibi's still as broke as ever, she only joined because it's a free private server ^0^ hahahaha Chibi's currently exploring at SiegeRO, the server is fairly new, but very good!! At the moment, it's never crowded, and it's quite easy to level up your character. For a beginner like me, this server is great! Chibi'd been ill for the past month~!! 0_0 Yeah, staying up for more than 5 days straight is definitely bad for health... I donated my long hair to Locks of Love a while ago, and for some reason, I'm still having this sort of "empty" feeling inside me from time to time... I know I'm doing good deeds, and I had all the time I need before I decided to cut my hair, so I'm not regretting anything. I guess it's just that... The only part of my body that I can be proud of is my healthy long hair, and having to part with it after all these years, I still need more time to adjust to it. But seriously, I can't even remember when was the last time I had short hair anymore... Well, a change of hair style is not a bad thing, right? ^-^ Guess, I'll just have to deal with it until my hair grow back~ Hopefully people won't start mistaking me for a young boy on the street, cause I usually dress in t-shirt and jeans most of the time...
