Convent Girl is Shi Lin's (aka Shi-chan
or the Syaoran no Miko) pita. New
layouts almost always give her a
p.i.t.a, yes, but she manages somehow. XP
Shi Lin:
a) lives in Singapore
b) really IS a convent girl, go figure. :p
c) was born on 22/07 (prezzie? <3)
d) likes 70s-80s, new age, metal, alternative and J-rock
e) thinks Britney Spears and her fellow poppers should be hurled off a cliff
f) hearts bishies, be they shonen
or seinen, m/m, writing, NP, canoes,
guns and cool tints
g) turns white whenever she sees
flying bugs bigger than her thumb -_-v
e) gives thanks for a whole day if she passes Physics or Maths
h) is older than SOME people think
she is. XD

Stuck
In A Moment has gotten 3 reviews in the space of less than a day. o.O; Good, yes, but
now more than ever I think it's high time I jumpstarted the darkfic bunnies. *slight
wince*
Ken: I *do* aspire to accomplish fic genres other than mushfluff, since I AM afraid of
drowning in my own sticky reputation. XP
*glomps Amy-oneesama* Thankies. ^_^ And woo, I successfully patched that ripped version
of Fireworks 3, so I'm going to Play with it later. :p Thank YOU, Nic-san!

AIM. Is refusing to let me on for no apparent reason. As always. >__< Ken, I'll
call you later.
*O_o-latch* Tin-onee, of COURSE I'm not mad at
you. Whyever would I be? (and I didn't get any e-card. XO Dumb mbox musta ate it up) I do
have doubts about being able to meet you if and when you do come down here in
June...holidays? *looks around* _I_ don't see any holidays. -_- Still! I shall move heaven
and earth to see you if I MUST! XO Must talk to Charlene-chama
about this.
Back to whining: some holidays. >_> Oh, but suddenly after typing that I don't
even want to whine anymore - I guess I should just be grateful I can wake up at SEVEN if I
want to. *weeps happily* Yeah, pathetic, but when you're used to getting up at bleeding
five every morning (and that's normal for many of my friends here) you're grateful for
every extra half-hour of sleep that comes your way. -.- Geh. Off to do strength workouts
for dragon boat trainings next week.
And I have devoured the first two parts of Philip Pullman's BEAUTIFUL His Dark
Materials trilogy in two days. *moment of silence*
I say beautiful, because that's the only word that stays in my mind. Well, besides
magnificent, awe-inspiring, thrilling and all that jazz, but words fail me - I haven't
been gripped by a fantasy world this fiercely ever since I first discovered Tolkien. And
to my horror and dismay, S'pore MPHs do not stock it. *shrieks and stomps* >< I am
SO going to Borders next week. I don't care. I WILL! BUY! The Golden Compass! And ALL his
other books! If it leaves me penniless for the whole month! XO XO XO I started reading it
at 4pm yesterday and continued until 1am. Then I got up at 8am today and just finished The
Subtle Knife about a 1/2 hour ago. It left off in a most horrible place. I think my heart
just ripped in half. >< Why do ALL the authors who have me groveling for more never
have their books shipped here until a year after they're first published? >_<
Talya-saaaan, thanks for linking me! ^_^

(=_____=;;;;)
*points below* Blame Jae-san for that.
"Hey, gal, your inner rock star is all Faith Hill. You are country, as
sweet and sultry as summertime honeysuckle. You can warm hearts with your charming stage
style, but you're calm and friendly with your success because you're grounded in the
important things in life—family, friends, good living. Your balance has let you to
build all the talent that's at your disposal, and that comes from your superstar
commitment. You've been blessed with natural talents, grace, and glamour—not to
mention spunk—that just flow out of you like honey. Thank your inner Faith Hill.
She's making things happen for you!"
I suppose it could be worse, but that just sounds so wrong. O_o;;; *I* was kinda hoping
for Bjork. XP Had my weekly talk with Gwynne just now -
Me: -and that friend does call those two parts of the female anatomy 'treacle puddings
topped with brown sugar', yes.
Gwynne: *snort*
Me: I wonder what he calls that part of his OWN anatomy. XP
Me: I was thinking a carrot nestled between two tomatoes in a grocery bag.
Gwynne: Wrong shape. XO It should be a SAUSAGE!
Me: *snert* Okay, okay, a sausage with a hole where the worm ate through inbetween
tomatoes?
Gwynne: *thoughtfully* Not tomatoes. They're too big and *wide*.
Me: >_> Okay, limes?
Gwynne: Too small.
Me: Plums?
Gwynne: Too wide.
Me: ...XD FISHBALLS!
Gwynne: XD XD YES. Big squishy ones. XD
Me: *happily* Big squishy deoxygenated ones. XD XD XD
Gwynne: XD XD XD
And I mun really go study now...six tests next week. ><; Hellooooo Treaty of
Versailles.

Vanessa always cheers me up so when she calls. *niko* Ne? Isn't it great to know those
people who always bubble over with fun and laughter and *life*? I dunno, you just *can't*
help but be happy whenever they're around because it would, to get dramatic, be almost a
sin to make them depressed too. ^_^;;She makes me jealous, honestly. Being
featherairheaded without being a bipolar basket case like so many others are. In other
words, being substantially genki? XD I don't make sense. XD And Niichan's on - wai!
I'm horribly behind on email and web stuff. >_> THIS is the other reason why I
refused a personal domain when Oyaji offered - it would have become a white elephant, not
to mention an expensive one. I might not even have time to update my sadly neglected pages
next month. ><; I have dragon boat trainings, CAP, and my NYAA trainings to juggle,
though the last is over 6 months. I have serious reason to fear disappearing totally
sometime in the later course of the year. ;_; Maa. I shall cross that bridge when it
lowers.
And on a belated note, my chou chou daisuki na Oneesama
finished the stupendously wunnerful Icebreakers 2. <3 Something Happy, Oneesamaaaa?

np: mirai -- open up your mind
Prettypretty song. Very pretty. The song, not the group. Can anyone at all confirm
whether this 'mirai' group IS that bunch of wannabe J-Poppers from S'pore? >_> Been
listening to it nonstop for the past hour. As Minekura-sensei says, there're hardly any
females in Saiyuuki, but *she's* a female. *kusu*
Selene, though this comment is kinda overdue, seeing me at Kino's would have been
quite impossible. I hate going out in school uniform and I haven't had any freaking TIME
to go to Kino's since what, last December? >< I might be going during June, though
once in Kino's I mostly head for the artbooks and ignore the manga, since I stick to the
Chinese-trans one. :3
Feeling much, much better emotionally - Kaasan got another call saying Grandma's
officially out of danger. I freaked out, if you so define collapsing on the doorstep and
crying my eyes out in tune to the next-door cockatoo's squawking. It was bad enough with J
five years back, but I never really realised how much more terrible it is to be *waiting*
without a clue as to how the person you love is doing. Of course I'd rather have waited to
have J whole and _alive_ back then, but there was no way of _knowing_. =_= Supposing I
know something of how those people back home must have felt during the war now. And
Oyaji's hauled himself off to a friend's place for two nights to cool off, so there's
another load eased. Oneesama-tachi who cheered me up so much on Sunday, I'm sorry I was
cut off halfway. *hugs* And major, major thanks to everyone who p-mailed me or otherwise.
*gloooomps* You know who you are. Me wubs you all. Damn, it's GOOD to feel chirpy again.
^_^ Hontou.
Jing-er. *makes face* The point IS, why do we call those things *under*garments? And
why insist on flaunting it in the faces of innocent people? If you want to expose your
nether attire, can't you freaking WAIT 'till class is over? Or do they think people
actually *enjoy* seeing they're wearing a red zebra-print bra today? Oh, but I wouldn't
know, would I? =_=
Stomach still hurts some. Luckily the rest of the week looks set to be relatively
peaceful. Off to hit the books now - one more week to June! (though admittedly it won't be
much of a holiday, yes...)
