Comics Jam 2. Was an absolute *blast*. Gwynne, my
bank, I loveth you. *powerGLOMP*
Goodies bought include:

-- a Hanamichi x Rukawa doujin (>.>;s at Alexandra)

-- a Tohga Sumeragi artbook (the SO absolutest cutest doujin pics of Saiyuuki/SHE/Hikaru

All the doujin are SO. PRETTY. *fans heavily* Too bad I didn't see any hardcore stuff
that appealed to me, though. I also nabbed a bunch of adorable beautiful letter sets of X
and CCS and Saiyuuki and postcards and Glay fanstuff and I am *SO* happy - a Jinjuu
Houretsuden notepad and card set. HANYAAN. I LOVE Shuw Morimoto's works and hardly anyone
knows about them. SHIKASH'! WHY were the two Yami doujin there Muraki x Tsuzuki? *snif*
;_; All the sam I spent over a hundred bucks and it was Well. Worth. Every Cent. XD XD XD
I have lots of scanning to do, I think. Damn but the atmosphere was great - all the
fangirls (and some fanboys! XD XD) were unexpectedly civil - no snatching and no
quarrelling, nothing but occasional squeaks, screams and shrieks pervading the air. XD XD
And muffled groans of claustrophobiacs crammed into that tiny hotel room. >_>a And
afterwards Gwynne and I went to CityLink and squalled merrily over purchases to the sounds
of passionfruit juice being sipped. *chuckle*
It was incredible, really. The ages of the females there ranged from something like 13
all the way up to mid-30s? Yes, there WERE obasan-tachi nattering over Japanese yaoi manga
and suchlike. Kyaa. o_o There is SUCH a market for m/m over here. Too bad it'll never get
to be made public, as far as I can see. I already consider it something of a miracle no
police broke up the con today cos it was unregistered. >p But I'm so cheered and happy
- and what's more the organisers were offering to help order doujin if we so wished. *dies
happily*
I am SO so so definitely hitting Comics Jam 3 next year. ^___________^v And it was
awfully spiffy getting to meet Alexandra

Watched Autumn
Tomyam on Thursday, loved it to bits though the ending was a little abrupt. I liked it
better than Miss Saigon, really, though maybe that was because I already knew the latter's
plot. Desmond Sim and Mr Uekrongtham did a stellar job. The *intensity* of the emotions
flying about left me speechless, plus Tid has one of the nicest butts I've seen in a
while. *fans*
Read through some recent mails at the YamiML, feel glad I went nomail. Geez. No matter
which fandom you're in people can never leave out these stupid debates on which couplings
are "right" or whether or not the author actually had that intention for that
scene he drew, etc, etc. >_< Look, you don't like TsuHi, that's OKAY, okay? You
