ZOMG ARAB STREET I LOVE JOOOOOOOOO!

Chinese O level yada was okay me and Krystle will prolly retake in November, yada yada penguin sick, mon sick, people falling sick left right centre *huggle* and anyway.

Went to Arab Street with tsu. Zomg love. We found alot of nice tartan. And nice tartan. And did I say tartan? tsu got...gobs of tartan. :D And most of all, super soft and touchable tan burberry ripoff check at under $6/m which we both got. Which totally pwns all the other tartans. Except maybe pink tartan. Which I still have not found. But!! Tan tartan, and also big white polka dots on pink. Aahaha. XDD It's a very happy!zomghiiiiiigh~ kinda print.

I have plans for that burberry ripoff check man. Plans I tell you. A beret, a knee length princess coat (with $60/m black fur trim), a tiered skirt, a jumper skirt, prince pants... I'm kinda not on the ground right now, and feel like making an entire set in it. XDDDDDD

Anyway. Shops in Arab Street can be divided into cool swanky arty farty, and the been here for years shops. The former generally has air con, smells nice, as good music, beautiful funiture, cohesive colour schemes and might have a cat or dog in them. The latter generally has fans, cool trims, cheap pretty textiles, uncles/aunties, and the blingbling!ones have chandeliers and make me think oil money. Both are just as cool. :DDDDDDD tsu and sak hearrrrrrrrt.

tsu and sak will sew in the holidays. All day long you shall only hear the clack clack hum whirrrr of sewing machines. :D tsu and sak have plaaaaaans!

Anyway before that sak and tsu were raiding all the kids sections in the shopping cetres (taka, robinsons, etc.) Zomg, we fit, the clothes appeal more, and they're cheaper too. :D Ahaha. It's a eureka!discovery. Seriously.

Okay. I'm off to look at dresses and lust after BJDs. Currently I'm hung up on the Luts Mini Fee Shiwoo. *lusts* He's such a pretty boy.. But apparently his head sculpt is such that his nose is very pointy. Hmn.

Sak you realize the boy is about $650? Yeah. You know that right. Right?

Today was Founders Day.. And the apparent opening of the Beurel Gallery and Chapelle de Barre. Which there was no mention of, strangely.. Apart from hearing Francoise sing, the day was wasted. Mon was smart and ponned. >_>

They mostly got all the school glorification (teachers, achievements..yada.) around the office area up. Along with the Gallery and the colour scheme of the school.... gah. The colour totally kills the pretty arches. Like. Verdana!Ariel!ElCheapoPhotoshopGradients! everywhere. And mosiac tiling that should belong in a toilet. It's quite sad, because the facade is very pretty. :/ Why don't they ask the students of these things anyway... Like, students could send it proposals - and the winners get more cool things for CV... Mmmphrrr too late.

Todays is also the first time, in a very long while, that I can feel my teeth! Hee! *grin* My braces are off...getting the retainers on Wednesday.

Didn't go with Aya to Kino. Went home and went over the composition types and memorizing..if I can still repeat it tomorrow it will be a success.

However, I just came home from Kino. :D My mom got a Kino card ( and i didn't know. ._.) so she decided to use it. So me mom and micheal (the cool in-graphic-industry neighbour) went after dinner and racked up $360 ish. w00t! Got Robot Vol5 (zomg finally), MTV On Air (those random art break inserts), another lolita mook and another product design thing Which is very Pretty and Cool. I think I may sell the mook. Because I can only read bits and pieces of the text heavy book. But the pictures are pretty and I like the pressentation, so.

Browsed alot of the japanese mags. Children and beading. Zomg. I need to get back into beading..the tiaras! *dies*

Also, Temasek and Ngee Ann's Mass Comm courses had talks at the career fair yesterday..zomg. Wanna go for it even more now. *w*

Currently leaning to Ngee Ann though.
- It's closer than Temasek
- Their alumni pwnz. really.
- Jie Nat is there! XD
- Their Mass Comm course is the oldest
- The wireless campus and iBook is a nice perk

But Temasek might be better since
- They make you write papers (I want to persue a degree)

Hur hur hur. Got back all our papers. I suck shit. End of story. Only thing I'm particularly happy is Art Hist (1/3 subject), History (1/2 subject) and Lit. I really really suck.

Anyway. Thinking of going to Fiction@Love.. wanted to after Pa brought back the brochure from the Shanghai exibition in Feb. And Yayoi Kusuma makes me grin. Polka dots everywhere and then have a bit more~ X) I think of a roomfulla smarties.

Sigh. I haven't anything particularly interesting to blog about.

Oh wait maybe I do. :D My skirt survived the washing machine. Which is good. I <3 sewing machine. Also, our com was not working due to too much dust in the fan. o.o;; Only had to like poof it off. wtf. And here I was for like 2 days wondering what went wrong. >____> har har I suck.

Mou I'm sick. >_> Flu and a bitch of a sore throat..I've drunk 7 bottles and 3 cups of water today. [lol, I counted! XD] So far. .___. blah.

We are starting Integration, so it'll be fun, for the first part, and than after that I'll totally K.O. Whoohoo. Argh A Math you torture me.

Lately I'm liking Mary Magdelene alot. Because Baby's and Angelic's fairy tale prints arn't really doing it for me, and MM's cuts are alot cleaner. And it's also because of all the fantastic quilting prints I saw yesterday with tsu. Aaaah the love. *-* Maneki meko print is so much <3. And the florallllls. And the Lao Ban Niang is a cool lady. :D

And while at Orchard MRT..zomg the XMen3 posters. Every.Time.I.seethem, I am reminded of the fact that there is no Gambit cos that actor keeps turning the role down. Which is then aggravated by the fact that Angel dammit, takes up half the poster with his huge ass wings. (But the angel-in-jeans routine is kinda hot.)

And eeee I want me some Ouran and X men slash. :/

Had dinner at tsu's; hung with tsu and com and rococo and tv, and aya with KH2 and tv and water.. Ee I miss tv. Eeee I wanna watch Project Runway. And I'm still a little hung up over Austin. Should go find that dl and that lj comm. And Snow's solo routine in last night's So You Think You Can Dance was Terrible cute/cool. In out in out! And the hair was wicked.

Anyway, there is work to be done and tables to clear and tuition homeworking to do. Mur.

And uhm...My Heart Will Go On take me back to beading days in primary school. Like when I was best buds with Vina and Hermy and things. Yeah.

Ahaha am finished with my spiffy tartan skirt. :D BUt it still needs some nicer buttons. Maybe tomorrow..since tsu and sak will be going to see pretty prints~~ And the shops carry cute buttons too. :3

Anyway went out with Mom since she got Jasmine Woman tickets; okay movie la. I didn't enjoy it much due to the content, but Zhang Ziyi looks good in a cheongsam singing 30s, 40s jazzy tunes. :D I ended up picking out motifs and camera panning... It's alot like Joy Luck Club really. But since it focuses on one family's 3 generations, the symbology is richer and therefore more fun to think about. :p

....And I wanna watch the next pixar/disney animation. It's called Cars. It's about a self centred ferari who ends up in the country and hooks up with a porshe. And somehow I managed to slash up the ferari with some other blue car. XDDD In one! trailer! hahaha.

Hurhur my Dad is an old man today. XD Hee! But having him back is nice. It's like having a parent again. And we can make funny myuu myuu and mou mou noises and hug. XDDD ...aiya but he's leaving tmr. Blah.

Anyway. Mon and Sa and me and whoever was around mainly sang alot of Avenue Q. It's very good for making yourself feel better. And entertaining too no matter how many time you do it. It would be cool to watch them..and they're on wikipedia too. *amused*

Went for make-up Chinese tuition yesterday. Val (bob Mayo/Drunk) is in that class, lol. Took the MRT home together and talked about lots of dumb things like how cute all the girls in the ballet class are, how stuff about 3-tiered r/n may come up, and the difficulty in spotting for Lit. And zomg the ballet class. It's like...omg pink! Soft cotton candy pink and little girls in pink leotards pink tutus and pink ballet slippers.. zomg. Can't stand it.

Went out with tsu for some spotlighting. In the end...I got nothing. XD;; The prints weren't that great after closer inspection [except that pink and the sakura. <333], all the good lace had dissappeared and it turns out that Spotlight doesn't carry ruffling feet. .___. Mou. But! We poked and giggled over tsu's new custard!petticoat and got more tulle and nice broderie anglaise for it. :D

...Also, played personal shopper for Mon. Picked up 3 people's birthday presents for her. And tsu got...a biiig tin of Jacob's wheaties for friend. XD

Sat down and flipped through each others mooks. :D The Angelic Pretty spread in Rococo? Made me a very happy girl. Pinkpink tea time :3

packing

Packed my room abit. Mostly to put sewing things and such, and clear out dusty pigon holes.

I have so much fabric lying around it's not even funny. =_= Useful though. And I found some interfacing I didn't even know I have~! :D Stiff enough for say, a hat. *g* SO anyway, most!of my accumulated cloth takes up about 1 shelf; my scrap box is filled to the brim with felt and cottons; I seem to have lost my seam ripper; I got a new set of needles (my maid swears I ingest them or something. I always lose them XD;) and uhh. I really don't know what to do with some of it. Like this crinkled cotton dobby remnant, or that lilac/violet shot taffeta (or is it thai silk?), or the pink voile that never got used. And I have so much felt I threw out a bag ful. Mostly bits of triangles from plushie!kyo's banana fritter hair. XD

Sewing and making things for people brings about lots of cheer and does much good. Found things like grey faux fur for Melsie and the stripey pink print for old valentines (which I should have bought more of dammit >_<) and uhh...lots more felt from last year's Christmas.

...omg, it sounds like I wasted the whole day away or something. Well I mostly did, except for the redeeming fact of Chemisry papers. And my lazing is, I feel, justified by the fact that by some miracle everyone managed to hand in 5!A2! boards for AEP. Although due to my sketchbook being a B5, A2 isn't that big. :/ Jessica and I were like ZOMG we are DONE and GOING HOME!!oneoneone and skipped through the drizzle.

Saw that gawdawful FFAC dub showing in TPC on the way home too. NOOOOOOOOOOOO. IT IS PAINFUL. IT IS BLASPHEMY. EVEN IF IT IS TIFA. ESPECIALLY!! IF IT RENO. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. *sob* *stabs dub* *stabstabstabstabstabstab*

I feel like slapping them for it. XDDDD

Anyway. Today was a glorious day; there were blue fluffy skies that look so pretty with my new pinkpink windchime; played so much Houston and Angel's Rain that I felt like I was in Bali or something; the wind blew nicely in the afternoon and there was a light smattering of rain too. And most importantly, I woke up at 9:30 (noooo I wanted to wake at 1 or something) but well. Wasn't tired or blaaaaargh 5 more minutes you bitch, which IS the most important thing and also a most wonderful start to the beginning of today. :D

Y'now, lately I've been thinking of polka dots. Usually I hate them. But on layouts they look so cute. X3 I think I may use them on a layout. Which I need to change soon. Cute as this is, it's blinding Mon. :D Who has probably stopped coming altogether.

Have been drawing lots of bunnies lately. I wanna make one after exams..that'll be 11th May. .____. Basing the pattern on a teddy bear pattern. We'll see how it turns out. Omg I need to go Spotlight and get those shanks for the joins. And uhm. Eyes? X)

Anyway. Today was rather long. School was okay quite slack. Ms Teo let us out early. But after 1:50....I totally screwed the practical. Did the worst titration ever. -_- Then math tuition which wasn't so bad, but had to take the 1 hour! bus rides from Katong back home. Came home round 7 and plonked self on floor.

Picked up the Courts flyer on the kitchen table. I flip through and wheeeee~ Toa Payoh branch is selling a basic Brother(!!one) sewing machine for crazycheap. :D Okaa wanted to get the one at Jurong last week, but it was too far. Hee and then Toa Payoh~! :D Must go early and queue. XD

...But I shan't touch it till after Mid Years. After the Art History paper? I am so going home to sew.

Shall go paint hunting on Saturday. Need to find a pale skintone. Except it needs to be spray paint. >_> I wonder if I can make my own though. :/ Argh. If only the studio had an airbrush. XD;

Uhmnnn. Today I woke up at 8 ish.

I wish I woke at 10-ish. I haven't done that in a very very long time. Not even during March I think. It's sad. ._.

Okaa is happy because she managed to get a tenant or two. That means happy for us too I suppose.

And she got me insurance for my birthday. XD;;

Etoo...watched XXXholic, Bleach 77, Gakuen Heaven and some random KH2 cutscenes from Rin's from Aya CD [with the Katamari OSt~~~~~]. Waaaaaaiiii Sak feels drowsy and mweeesy~ It's playing Angel's Rain~ So...stoney and floaty and mindless. I like :D

Opening for XXXholic is cool. I like the guy's voice. I like how it's kinna creepy and smokey. But the butterflies at the end make me laugh. XD Crapshitweirdcheap!animation or something. Watanuki is idiotic as usual. Mokana is well. Deathly cute! But. Am sad cos the cool swirly smoke has been reduced to CG fog. .____. Mouuuuuuu.

Gakuen Heaven, although an appealing idea, is painfully boring. Hardly any BGM, intros a whole glut of characters in a shot, and mayhap they should have stuck to making the game. Looked better anyway. :/ But I suppose I'll continue watching la.

Anyway today the rooftop was especially fun because a) Sa a really good uh, what's that called. Kway teow! :D b) Mon was really nuts today. hee! To the point that we asked her to jump off or something. c)Nanao-chan brought a whole extra box of sushi. Which she made herself. <3 And there was enough leftover for her lunch too

AEP today was much fun too. Discussed Singapore's really shitty gene pool, the merits of big boobs, and fuzzy rocks. Ahaha yes we make sense. And there is more white paint in the studio~ Painted in the lace, just need to dropple in the details and the glass. That's half a prep board done! Now I just need to do that pastel, and I have one board dead. :D

And Bio proved to be rather disturbing. Yaoi and sex ed do not mix. Because after a while I was thinking if we'd be doing rectums, and weather the walls of the large intesting have muscus secreting epithilial cells. That, and too many images of Gravi MagaMix were in my head. Thanks for the insides, Murakami-sensei. Mon had read Tori Maia the night before. And Sa has just been through Mon's 10 cds of yaoi. Yeah.

Anyway~ Filmed Fantasia VI again. May I just say? The ensembles were very adorable. Charming really. Hee! Good performance, yada. throws hugs love and cookies to kiwi rin feef em sab rachel lucille yada. No really. <3!

Aya killed her feet before intermission while I killed my back after intermission. XD And during intermission we munched at reception. :D Ms Ho worked a little wonder. :D Mini eclairs and those adorable fruit tarts you see at every single catered function~ Much love. Good food good company and saw Mr Armstrong who has sadly been MIA for this year.

...And then the emcees just screwed up with god awful pronounciation. like. Hunchback of noh-trei dehme. Argh. No-tra daaaaaame dammit. But it wasn't that bad lah. Can forgive la hor?

Anyway. The school showers are seriously underrated or something. They are really nice~ Not stinky [yet]. It's a nice enough place if you'll just ignore the majority of jocks and bimbos that come in. Not the best bathing company. [if there's such a thing as bathing company XD]

And. xomg the new Bleach opening. May I just highlight? Urahara and Byakuya in jeans. is just. incoherency. :D And the first few seconds are quite nifty, even if the do make me think of iPod ads. :D

I can be terribly apathetic about things that Are Important. Let's see. Lost my wallet. Worried the first few days and couldn't be bothered anymore th rest of the time. Haven't seen Pa in over a year and I don't miss him or anything. When NaiNai died I didn't feel anything except that uh, funeral wakes are generally quite fun apart from the chanting. Seriously I liked arranging the peanuts and red strings and giving people their packet drinks. There are plenty of other things like how I'm rather unaffected by Her situation.

But I should be I dunno, in pain/worrying/concerned over these people but. I don't really feel it. I mean a sub-guilt feeling tells me I should at any rate. And I'll just look down and feel bad for a while then continue with whatever. Maybe it'll gnaw at me a little throughoout the day. But that'll be mostly it.

.......But the point is, I should be a lot more feeling. These people are important to me. Thus common sense dictates that I should be pacing in worry or something. Or y'know at least make some effort to Do Somehing like write a letter, send an sms or cry over it and not arrange red strings.

flying bugs and cold rains.

With the recent weather I wonder if I should bring saturday's big pink umbrella of ghei. :D I should stash instant soup and biscuits in my locker. A warm jacket too. (oh why not move in while I'm at it. :D)

Anyway. Have been painting liek crazy because 5 boards need to be finished in 24 days. Have been worrying like crazy because my wallet is still in limbo. Have been sniffing like crazy because of runny noses.

I like my feet warm. My toes all snuggly safe and toasty in big fluffy house slippers. Or socks, if need be. :D It's a fuzzy wuzzy feeling that starts in your toes and schmizzles its way up. Hee~ Put on some cute warm socks and see what I mean. :D

On that topic, I realized while getting clean clothes that I have er. Quite a few socks. XD A sock penchant could be bad you never know.

Rose came to school today but didn't manage to catch her. :( But~ sms-ed alot while painting and going home and all. end idea: Let's have a baking party at AyaTsu's one weekend~! X3 Sounds nummy and makes me think of the time when 3 of us were reeking of thinner and Aya emerged from the kitchen smelling of her white choc chip cookies. We pounced. and <3333

April first.

Am feeling very sedate right now. It's not a particularly good sedate, because there are many things which have to be done and there's probably too much worrying in my system but for some reason I feel sadate. Pretend sedate, that's it.

Anyway cannot find wallet. Last sighted Thurday night in tuition, say 7:45. Worst thing that could happen is I dropped it and nobody's going to return it. Likely it will be found. Not in the car, may be slimly possible in my room most likely in tuition centre.

Fuck it it gnaws at me.

Had a shitty dream. Was walking home somewhere (PS???) with Mon and went to this big building with a huge basment. Feels felt like a carpark and yellow lit dirty mosiac floored starways. And a creepy guy, and ghosts. Something about being flown around by a something that gurgled. I think I was scared. And I dunno where Mon went to later.
And I woke up. And didn't dare turn to face the wall because I was really scared, didn't dare move and petrified.pins and needles until the sky lightened from blue to yellow . And realized that gurgling sound probably came from those damn pigeons outside my room. lol.

Unsettling. Ey wait those are called nightmares.

Anyway realzed it was 8:50!!so get ready moderately quickly and went off to school for AEP. Painted quietly in the back at the sink Rachel and Jessica and Veronica came in periodically which was good I think or I. Yeah. And mees low came can made me realize how I don't use enough water to blend.

Cordoned off my shelf with my ghey pink engrish scoth tape. :DDDDD

And Tomo-san [the really cute curator in fukuoka who sak thought looked like a chipmunk.squirrel. X3 <33333] sent us candy!!! Coincidentally they happened to be the ones I saved the wrappers of cos of sparkly packaging and are in my shelf. :D

Went out with tsu in the afternoon and teh PowderfulPurplePants(tm) broadcast ghey. We broadcasted ghey. Dilemma-ed over cute PJs, unbrellas sunbrellas and parasol, and cute fluffy house slippers. Skipped down the pavement hand in hand. Generally giggled and made funny noises and sqeesighed tsuuuuu~ <333333 saaaaaaaa~k <333333. XDDDD

Spotlight brought in all the pretty cotton prints whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. no marney!! and the white pink rose and the cream pink magnolia print is <3333. Didn't have enough time to go Far East which is sad. ;_; Haven't been there in eons.

Sports Day was quite okay because even it was hot and stinky and sweaty we had fun together and talked and did retarded things like kill rin's big purple umbrella. I slept alot. Cuddled Aya's pms!lunchbag neko and actually fell asleep. -_-;; And we ate much unhealthy like chips :D

Friday

Mon was mostly voiceless due to cheering. Do kyoot!

It was also Lit play and as usual, Aya looked fantastically motherish with wonderful costume and oh my. Rin!!! Was so cute. *dies* X3 Guinevere was such a powderful Doc Stockmann too. Val was such a fantabulous drunk I really sqeeed over that and I can't emphasis it more Val was such an amazing drunk. :D

A poodle for your girl?

Saturday was History extra class and then running down to the rubbish dump place with Sa and then running down to Suntec and walked alot to the Atrium. Waited for Aya had a Banana split at Andersons (<333!) and walked around a bit upstairs.

4:30 rolled along and we made balloon scumptures again.. If you see a guy coming up to you, it's definatly gonner be one of them heart wands. XD If it's a mother with kids in tow, it'll be a heart wand too. Or a pirate sword for the boys. That's pretty much what I did all day XD;;;

Closed shop at 6, just in time to leave before the SuperBand crod came in. Human traffic was awful..there're the travel fair people, the SuperBand crowd, and the usual weekenders. Eeep. Got home [gor again] shower sleep.

Sunday started off iffy. Brooding over tuitionssss for the day, cried a bit (=_=);; and wheee hello good morning hiya boy pig wake up gooodoooo morninguuuuu!

Sunday was better towards the afternoon (Chemistry Chemistry A Math) and went home happy :D :D Because A MAth tuition is just that way. Try to wrap your mind round Integration laugh at our Sak's stupid mistakes, giggle with Mon over dumb things..:D Tell Mon nei hou dak yi!! Okaa's helping Boy with his hao gong ming about-my-family project. It's well. Kinna sad and amusing at the same time. Boy the retarded thing he is wanted all them stupid pictures (like Pa in his underwear and me in the morning) but goat! is propiety and boss so. Prim and proper it is. :/

I should take Boy out and we shall take purikura or something. I'm quite sure he'll like the decoratng bit. XD Or a photoshoot thing. :D

Pulau Semakau was much fun! :D

Slept in school from 11pm-4am, then we left for the jetty. Got saddled with videocam duty. Blah. Arrived at Semakau which had alot of empty road. Which made Saka nd Aya sing the OC theme. XD Californiaaaaa... Mon as usual was way ahead of us. Plodplodplodding..

Cut through the forest to explored the intertidals. Molested starfish, poked sponges and coral, and stared at the egrets. And filmed the crabs fighting/waving to females. Made me realize some of the diffulculties wildlife filming can be. There's nowhere proper to sit, good luck to you if the animal is just stoning [wait wait wait for that precious animal behaviour....smile for me baby! XD;;], and then there's the problem of losing your subject in the viewfinder.

We lunched on two motorcycle loads of Canadian Pizza. Which was alot, seriously. Was totally stuffed after. =_= K.O.ed after that. Sat in the warm sun, opened my pink umbrella and actually fell asleep. Hurhur.

Went back to NUS, did a workshoppy thing and toured the Raffle's Museum thingy there. Being confronted with the remains of a bird that was bigger than yourself, standing next to a leg taller than you..it made me feel rather insignificant na. ._. Ah whatever.

Anyway, I have new bopbopbop wake up~ music! :D Utada Hikaru Keep Trying, and BoA Cosmic Eyes. Hee! So doinky. X)

Okaa went Spotlight yesterday so I tagged along. :D Got the highland tartan on discount and the strawberry broderie <3 Now then, that leaves us with lace and ribbon and tailor moneys.. :D
