Fire fire

Well the war started and I got recalled in to work despite the fact that it's my vacation leave. So I go in and what do you know, the place had caught on fire! My colleagues being industrious and insane, work right through it and continue to broadcast 24 hours. I feel so proud of our dedication, but yeah, we're all insane that way. Fortunately by the time I got in, it was over and all that was left was a strong smokey smell. Now, I'm hungry, as the smell reminds me of Barbecue and Prime Ribs.

Musings on Bishounen

Okay, was bored, got to talking with Beth and began thinking about my favourite Bishounen. Came to the conclusion I have no idea why I like Sumeragi Subaru. I mean I put him at the top of my list. But down further is a certain "type" that seems to get me. Number 2 is Seishirou, number 3 is Tatsumi and number 4 is Naoe of Mirage of Blaze (which I have been avidly watching thanks to Becky . Thanks Becky!!! *glomps*) Now can you see a pattern there? It's the dangerous men in the suits that seems to turn me on. So how does Subaru fit in there at the top? No idea. Pretty bishies in other shows get a "oh he's cute" comment, and then I move on. Which leads me to ponder the case of Hisoka. Given that so many people were insane over him, I decided to give him another go. Sat down and watched an ep of Kyoto arc and re-read book 10 of the Yami manga. End result: Hisoka still leaves me cold. It can't be the age factor, because I like Kamui and he's just as young, and it can't be the brattiness because again, Kamui was that way too! Sighs. Anyway Beth had a theory which may be too controversial for me to write here, but I guess it worked. *pokes her to write more Yami no Kopi-raito*

Bad lemon parody

Was bored and ended playing with Jess and we ending up roleplaying a Seishirou/Subaru lemon using every cliche we could think up for. I was having so much fun, I thought I'd share.

Xan: *accepts Subaru with grabby hands, turns him about and starts kissing him* My Subby.
Seishirou: *taps her on the shoulder* Excuse me?
Xan: Don't worry. See he's all right. *pushes Subaru out to him*
Subaru: *clings* Save me from the fangirls.
Seishirou: *puts his arm around Subaru's shoulder* Don't worry Subaru-kun. I'll "save" you.
Subaru: *all pretty and uke-ish, rather like in that Reiran fanart* You're my hero.
Seishirou: Ahhh the spoils of war. *leers*
Subaru: *archly* Oh? how do you plan to "spoil" me?
Seishirou: *runs a finger down his cheek* I can think of a few ways.
Subaru: So I am now your war trophy? Should I put up some resistance? *doesn't want to be thought easy*
Seishirou: Oh yes, that might be quite nice. Make as much noise as you wish... *looms* No one can hear you anyways.
Subaru: *does the mandatory kicking and screaming that is de riguer for virgins being carried off*
Seishirou: *does indeed carry him off and tosses him on a convenient bed* My my... what a lovely war trophy... too bad it's still wrapped... *grins and slides over next to him*
Subaru: *eyes wide* You... mean to ravish me?
Seishirou: *cocky as hell* Of course. *neatly slips the black trench and tosses it over the chair*
Subaru: *is a lily-white virgin and so scuttles back against the end of the bed* Stay away from me! *declares melodramatically*
Seishirou: *slowly inches forward* No, I don't think I will, Subaru-kun.
Subaru: *pouts* Why do you never listen to me?
Seishirou: *shrugs* For one, I don't feel like it, and for two, you secretly want me to ravish you.
Subaru: *it was true enough but still feels he ought to offer up some token resistance* But if I let you ravish me, I'd lose all my self-respect!
Seishirou: *quirks an eyebrow* Since when did self respect factor into the equation?
Subaru: *again true enough. His resistance is eroding like a sandcastle from an incoming tide* Er... it's just necessary.
Seishirou: Good. *flashes a sweet smile that would make most people quiver with fear* Shall we proceed with the sex then?
Subaru: *sighs and capitulates* Sure, ravish me.
Seishirou: Excellent. I knew you'd see things my way. *takes off their clothes*
Subaru: *surprised to see his clothes fly off so conveniently* Wow, yet another sign of your magic powers, or should I say prowess?
Seishirou: It comes in handy when you're not in the mood for a strip tease. *mounts him in one graceful motion*
Subaru: *Seishirou is being so masterful, just the way he likes it* You're so impatient!
Seishirou: The other option is me stalking you, throwing random ofuda at you, then having you kill me on a bridge somewhere. This is much more fun.
Subaru: *agrees* I'd rather not angst right now and no killing on bridges, please. But the stalking part can be fun... *considers that option*
Seishirou: Sex first. *kisses him, complete with tongue probing and all the prerequisite gropage*
Subaru: *enjoys said gropage and indulges in a little of it for himself too, gripping at Seishirou's manly shoulders*
Seishirou: *pulls out a tube of cherry-flavored lube and proceeds to use it*
Subaru: *remembers that since he's a virgin, he supposed to be tight, so makes some moans at the constriction and stretching by Seishirou's fingers*

Now we can live happily ever after, in a life uncomplicated by the fact that the end of the world is coming!
Seishirou: *more or less forgets everything that makes up his character and decrees* That's alright! We'll move to Hawaii and get married! We'll set up a place on the shore of some little island and drink coconut milk all day and have wild sex all night!
Subaru: *totally ignores the fact that he's supposed to angst and agrees wholeheartedly, especially with regards to the wild sex part* Seishirou-san! *goes all starry-eyed*
Xan:(actually coconut milk tastes yucky, it's coconut juice that tastes good. The milk is used for cooking)
Seishirou: *also starry-eyed, ignoring the fact that he only has one eye. He whips out a ring from a convenient pocket in hammer-space and proposes right then and there* Oh Subaru-kun, will you marry me?!
Subaru: *green eyes or, wait was it purple? (since people can't seem to get that right whether he's seen on TV or on pretty art) shining, as he takes the ring* I will! *flings arms around beloved, conveniently forgetting that said man killed sister and all that*
Seishirou: *whisks Subaru away to some island paradise right after he takes an ax and a can of Round Up to the Tree. There they have tequilas and screw each other day in and day out for the rest of eternity.*
Subaru: *is a happy uke for the rest of his life, as long as the supply of lube holds out*

Jess: *dabs eyes with hanky* That was beautiful.

Okay finally got around to posting Carpe Diem Chapter 2 on My Fanfic page and CLAMPesque. I guess, it's my sense of fair play going. Subaru gets to be seme this time, but Kamui isn't behaving in his normal uke manner. I guess I just don't see him that way.

I'm Social!

Much thanks to Hemlocke for feeding me Wolf's Rain. Yes, I think I am looking forward to seeing more of it. To the optimistic people hitting my blog looking for Wolf's Rain fanfiction, sorry guys, don't know enough of the story yet to write anything. ^__^

Whew! Anyone who knows me will know I'm still rooting for Subaru to stay alive, so I'm glad to see that he still is, at least for another month. And Kim is right, Subaru is absolutely gorgeous. Random Thoughts

Not really blogged for a while. I had a good vacation, resting up and having a nice chat with Alison over Clamp and other animes. Which reminds me, did you and Veronica get very far with Scryed after I left you?

Meanwhile, I've been totally captured by Hacksign music thanks to Gaki. This is odd, since I'm not a very aural person. I mean, when I write my fics, I have to write in total silence. Talking about writing, I feel so productive. I actually completed several chapters over the last few days, which you got to read some of it, e.g the draft of my new dark Seishirou/Subaru lemon. I guess it was only fair to them, since I had been writing Subaru/Kamui before. I try to be fair that way.
Subaru: Yeah right, you're fair. I just can't sit down properly after one of your stories lately. You've been playing too much with her!

Raises hand to Mura's question. I thought that kid did look like Eriol's evil offspring, although he could have either Seishirou or Fuuma for his other parent.

I'm so curious about Wolf's Rain. Everyone's talking about how good it is. Can I get some eps off you,Hemlocke?

Oh My God,Ko! Your new comic is incredible. Can I just say I love your chibi!Seishirou? *beams*

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, LIZ!

What's been going on in my life lately? Apart from trying to get enough sleep, I actually managed toget some writing done yesterday. Wrote an introductory bit for the YAMI Interactive Fiction. Now all I need to do is think up an interesting plot. Channelling Terazuma is really hard. I also managed to write a few more paras for Living for You 8, which means this chapter might actually one day see the light of publication! Whee!
