After slaving over this the whole week, Lifeblood 2 is finally out at CLAMPesque and The Fanfic site in the lemon section.

So I had fun over the weekend watching The Matrix Reloaded. I must say it's tonnes of fun watching such shows with a Fellow Fangirl. I was giggling madly at her cries of "Lick him! Lick him!" when Agent Smith, aka Elrond piled on Neo. Slashy!! *giggles insanely*

New Fic! Angel's Mission

Well, Jess and I have a new fic out! Yay! Titled Angel's Mission, though I'm rather partial to the Japanese translation "Tenshi no Shimei" which was thanks to Phi. The story can be found at My fanfic site and at CLAMPesque. Enjoy!

XXXholic

I dunno if anyone's interested but I got a look at the 22 pages of the new XXXholic and got a rough translation out of it since some people on a chinese board scanlated it.

Here's a quick summary.

The main character is a guy called Kimihiro Watanuki who starts off being chased by a bunch of frightening spirits that nobody else can see. He runs and runs and ends up near a shrine/house place nestled in the middle of Tokyo. Against his will, his legs bring him in and he meets this woman (a Setsuka-lookalike). (Yes, the house is in a kekkai!!) At any rate, they start talking about names and birthdays (his is April First) and how knowing these things give her to power to know everything about him.(Shades of Subaru and Seishirou!!!!) Then some back history on how he's adopted and is used to doing housework> Some clowning around (she takes his watch even though he doesn't want to give it to her) is also thrown in.

At any rate, the girl (sorry can't trans the name, if anyone knows please go ahead and tell me) says this is a shop that grants Wishes! (Yes, shades of Fuuma!) and asks Watanuki what he wants. (Apparently what she wants are souls - which freaks Watanuki out a lot) She tempts him with the thought of taking away his ability to see spirits and have them come after his blood. He resists but somehow gets conned into working for her in the end, i.e cleaning up her house.

Ok, Len-chan has kindly put some of the pictures up, which were scanned by another girl called Hissori. So none of the credit for these go to me.

XXXholic

Oh my god, Len-chan rocks! I took a look at the scans of XXXholic that she and Hinoko-chan linked and it looks interesting enough. Oh yeah, whoever this person named Clamp_supermanga is, she rocks too for scanning the pictures in Chinese! The first two pictures are coloured. Nice! And yes, the main guy does look Mokona-inspired. Now can anyone tell me what the story is about? Cos I can barely make out the words, they're too tiny.

Heh heh, I know I am evil, Beth. I seem to be inspiring people a lot these days.

Bored and er, nostalgic

Well, it's the weekend and as per my usual insomniac self, I'm up in the middle of the night. So I decided to do a nostalgia re-run and watch Gravitation one more time. Now it has been a year since I last watched the show and I was reminded again just how fun it is. Which got me to wondering how many people out there have time to watch and rewatch their anime. We're all such busy people and there're always new anime popping up to amuse us, so I guess, old shows probably don't get rewatched much. I think XTV, Tokyo Babylon and Yami no Matsuei are the only shows that I've watched more than 3 times in their entirety, but I guess I've had to since I write fanfiction for them. Everything else gets max, two viewings and then I rewatch individual eps that particularly amuse me, e.g Fruits Basket. I guess the point of all this is me saying that its worth it, once in a while to go back and rewatch an old show just to remember and recap all the bits that amused one before.

Put up a new layout to Butterfly Dreams. Thanks to Tasia for it. Now I gotta work on a page for the fanart. ^___^

I had a good time laughing with Alison yesterday over the army of Elronds on top of Neo. It's always fun to watch anime with another fangirl. And yes, I'm still chuckling over the "I used to be picky about sanitation" sub for Rave. Gotta love the Hong Kong subs for providing unintentional amusement.

New Fic posted

Well, after working on A Matter of Honour since last November, I decided to post the first chapter. Now on CLAMPesque and my Fanfic page. It's a Seishirou x Subaru lemon and very sad. Sighs, Subaru ought to run cringing away from me in fear. I started out writing this to make him happy, to give him Seishirou. But well... go read and see the result. Still I am rather proud of this one. ^__^

Waaah, new layout season. Len's and Hinoko's and Kim's all rock. Ko's yellow blinds me, but Sakura is so kawaii I can't help but love it too.

Back to writing

Thanks to everyone who offered me comfort over my friend's passing. I really do appreciate it.

Meanwhile I have apparently got into a dare with Jessi. She posts her sequel to Flash on the CFFML and I post my Ode to Subaru and actually finish writing Chapter 2 of A Matter of Honour. Not a bad trade. I need the motivation anyway. *pokes myself*

And what is with my office and wildlife?! First the place resembles the town of Hamlin with rats all over the place, then this week, we keep getting dive bombed by two inch long flying termites! I've just killed 5 of these enormous bugs. Yikes! The good thing is that there's a very cute kitty that comes around my desk and meows at me. She's very pregnant and probably doesn't get enough to eat, poor thing.

In Memoriam

I am all twisted up and upset. A friend of mine has become the lastest to succumb to SARS. This News Report pretty much tells it all. I can't believe I will NEVER have the chance to see or talk to her again. Let me just say what I remember about her. She was vibrant and fun. She liked all sorts of things, from hobbycrafts to good food, travelling and shopping-- rather like me. I remember her being interested in everything that we talked about, and believe me, one of the last few times we met, I was telling her all about X and html and setting up online blogs and Live Journals. She was interested in everything. As a friend, she was great with my niece who loved her a lot. She used to gift her with plushies from her overseas trips. All I can say is that she was nice. So obliging with offering to do things for my sister that sometimes, I felt like a selfish person, for not having thought of offering myself.

Well, that is it. I know most people when hearing me talk about such depressing news would think I want to be left alone. But actually it's the total opposite. I want company. I want to be reminded that life is worth living, that it does continue. Tam-chan says its survival. Perhaps it is. I am however angry. Angry with a virus that has the power to take away someone who mattered to me. So nobody had better belittle how dangerous SARS is to me, and how it has devastated our lives here in Asia.

It's so bad now that I truly hesitate to go to any crowded enclosed places, and the post office is one of them. But since you, you, you, you, you and you weren't expecting anything from me, I guess it doesn't matter.

Okay since I kept being hounded by people for Gouhou Drug scans, I decided to do some for my friends (you know who you are - hugs all). And since they were up, Kamitra very kindly did a rough and dirty translation of the pictures. Please forgive if the translation is not as correct as it might be. Words in parenthesis (...) means that the translation stumped her.

Conclusion: this is the backstory when Rikuou first brought Kazahaya back to the Drugstore. This is all so interesting! *Sqeeeeel* Fangirly dance for Gouhou Drug!

Bemused

This month's Asuka Updates pleases me immensely. I rather like how the Sorata/Arashi story is playing out. It's clever and makes sense that Arashi would visit Hinoto because she's troubled by the loss of her sword. Clamp is tying up loose ends nicely

On another note I am troubled by the heated words flying around blogland. Since I like people on both sides of the issue, I shall stay out of it. Big hugs to anyone visiting me! Love you all.
