THUNK That's the sound of my head hitting the keyboard. Oh my, its been a long week. Let's just say I'm quite ready to fall down in a puddle of goo right about now. Strangely enough, I did get to write some and RP even more, although I'm not sure about the quality of stuff I'm dishing out. What I can't seem to do is gather enough higher brain function to EDIT anything! Sorry Aishuu I've not been able to concentrate on Secrets 6 without my eyes crossing in front of me. Lemme see if I can get up enough concentration to do something this weekend.

On another note, I love your Fuuma and Froggie layout,Mura . The little red hearts are so cute, they remind me of shoujo bubbles!

Its been a while since I last blogged. No am not dead, just recovering from the excess of Chinese New Year and paying for the two day holiday by working every single day this week. It sucks, particularly since I'm missing her dreadfully.

Oh yeah, Alison did you enjoy the stuff I lent you? Wanna go do something this weekend? I'm soooo bored.

Whee! Have been so productive these two weeks! Posted Paradigm Shift Chapter 6 at CLAMPesque and Fanfiction.net and at Butterfly Dreams and of course the mirror site and Mediaminer. Hopefully I get some nice reviews out of all this! So much work! ^__^

My dear MD, don't worry about having to hound anyone too much if you take up journalism. There are always jobs where good writing is needed but you don't need to be the hardnosed tabloid journo that's so often wrongly portrayed in the movies. Trust me.

Keri, your comment about Fuuma in weird positions gave me all sorts of pleasant images to my wicked hentai mind. ^__^

Oh god, Kanoe's dead!!! Not that it's particularly tragic for me, but I can see CLAMP starting to hurry up with the character deaths as the end of X nears. But Alison, what does Kamui really want? Wish Clamp would just be specific and say either Fuuma or Subaru. Sticking the two of them together like this... its just so damn tragic that Kamui can't make up his mind. I knew there was bound to be this big meeting between Subaru and Kamui, but with Fuuma there as well, the poor boy must be so taken aback! Stomps foot!

Hero: Colour coding for easy reference/Monday, January 20, 2003

Oooh so happy to hear from her that E'S is getting animated. Now I can watch it to figure out what the hell is going on with that story. It rather reminds me of Scryed, (which I finished over the weekend)but I think E'S plot is probably better.

Yes finished Scryed - shed a tear for Cougar, until Becky said he's probably didn't have the fate I thought he had. So I shall be optimistic. As for Ryuhou and Kazuma, those two are real Bakas! They have those two women waiting for them, but they're totally uninterested. All they want is to pound on each other. Okay, so maybe that's why Rachel sees them slashed together.

Hero was without a doubt one of the prettiest pictures I'd seen in ages. So yes, Hemlocke I did enjoy it. But apart from the spectacular cinematography and wonderful martial arts moves, there was no plot! I cringed at the thought that people would come away from it thinking the chinese actually did things like that. E.G: Join calligraphy schools with teachers that don't have the sense to tell the students to run when under attack from a storm of arrows. Basically what Alison worked out about the whole colour coding had me laughing all through our lunch together. But she forgot the whole, let's destroy the library just to show off my special kung fu move that would have gotten the Guoshoushin brothers really mad, and the whole let's duel in our minds, so we don't actually HAVE to fight each other bit that was so hilarious about the plot. All the winner of the mind duel needs to do is stab the other, it's just so much more clean and efficient huh?

What do you mean you can't write PWPs? You write PWPs with me all the time! Not that any of it is ever going to be published. *hides*

Fun day/Sunday, January 19, 2003

Went out with her today and had a good time chatting. Got my Fruits Basket DVD back. Now contemplating watching it once again, at least the eps that I liked very much... hmmm. Anyway while out, we popped in at Karekano and I ended up buying a pencil board of Tsuzuki hugging various coloured rabbits. Know that picture? Tsuzuki is rather cute in it, but I don't know if I want to keep it. Perhaps some lucky person will find it in their mail one day when it's near their birthday. Anybody a raving Tsuzuki fan who wants it? ^__^

Which reminds me... Wai!!! I wish I could see that infamous PoT chibi episode. I loved your screencaps of Fuji, I just wanted to cuddle him. He's absolutely adorable!!!! Anyway, I think I shall pass on comparing angst levels of anime characters with you. I did get around to watching more of S.Cry.ed and thought the plot got better and better. It IS a low angst show, though when the best friend died, I was rather sad about it. Ooops spoiler! Ryuhou is rather cute after he loses his memory, but it lasted only a few eps, and then he was back to his original scowling, angsty self again. Actually I thought the cutest one in that show is Tachibana Asuka, yes Ko I finally remembered his name, Tachibana is the one with the 8 green flying BALLS! *giggles* Cougar is cute too with his helpful cheerfulness. Dunno about the ending though, since I've not made it that far yet.

Going to watch Zhang Yimou's Hero tomorrow with Alison. I read your thoughts on it and got all excited in anticipation.

Missing you so very very much. I actually read your Angelic Layer fic with only the knowledge of 4 eps of the anime, and Prince of the Layer was surprisingly readable. The fight sequence is well scripted. I should leave our future fight scenes in Paradigm Shift to you! LOL.

Rachel I've been watching Scryed. I don't know, I still think Subaru has got Ryuhou beat where motivation for angst is concerned. But then nothing beats having your lover shove his hand through your sister's heart in my book. Ryuhou only had his dead mom to angst over. But your alternate universe where Ryuhou and Kazuma get together simply cracks me up! The two of them are such bakas for fighting with each other all the time. XD

On a personal note, rats are now leaping onto our office tables and staring at us while we snack. One just ran by my feet. I didn't scream, go me.

My office is currently overrun with rats. Yes, big jumping, hopping, running rats! Good thing I'm not terrified of them, but you should hear the constant screams of my colleagues. What we really need is a cat, but the rats are too smart to get caught by one. There are traps all over the place, but they avoid them so well. Don't let anyone tell you that rats are dumb.

In a strange mood as far as writing fanfiction is concerned. All the muses for my various characters are running everywhere like rabid bunnies. e.g Seishirou Muse keeps wanting to kneel down and propose to Subaru; Subaru Muse wants to quarrel with Seishirou and is refusing stubbornly to sleep with him; while Kamui Muse is simply holding his hands up in surrender, even though he's due to get some in my upcoming Subaru birthday fic. Kakyou Muse is sitting about looking very pretty in a gorgeous Count D-esque kimono waiting for Fuuma to come kidnap him, but nothing's happening because Aishuu is leaving them hanging. *cries* I think I shall leave off writing lemons for a while and delve into a TB adventure style plot bunny - to be set sometime between Manga 3 and 4. Talking about lemons, Mizu glad to hear our story is salvageable. Hope I can catch you online to hear your ideas. *hugs*

Alison tying of ties for Clamp appears to be an indication for someone to show they care a lot about another person. As much as I'd like to say this shows Subaru/Kamui and Rikuou/Kazahaya have a special relationship going, there's also the evidence of Hokuto tying Subby's tie in TB. So it can be seen in a less romantic light, where it's something two people very close to each other do as a sign they care about the other. How's that for an interpretation? On the other hand, it could just be CLAMP giving us fan service. ~_~ By the way, are you still wanting to watch Hero with me?

Shi! Thank you, thank you so so much for sending me the Hikaru no Go MP3s. I just love the theme songs. Oh yes, the Wish tunes are really nice too, I'm listening to them all now.

Got around to linking Hana and Ko, both very cool people. *waves at Hana*. I hope Ko doesn't mind me linking her. She made me laugh with her blog on the Viz translation of Subaru talking to Kamui: "Heed me, boy!" Now I very much agree that is language totally OOC for Subaru, or as she says reminds of "a medieval blacksmith." Indeed! XD
