On a totally unrelated note, apparently the US and my country are making a big hoohah over this trade deal we're signing. But the most amusing thing about it is this clause inside allowing the US to sell sugarless chewing gum for theraputic use! Yes, this means that chewing gum will have to be prescribed by a doctor before someone in my country can buy it! My reaction? Erm, yay? What does that mean? I have to go up to a doctor and say " I need to chew gum? Please prescribe me some?" This truly borders on the ridiculous but hey this is where I live!

So today I decided to go out, to jostle with the other four million people who inhibit this city. But I am alone even with all these people around. I walk across a carpark and hear a sudden whoosh. I freeze. A car is speeding at me. I take a step back at the last minute. The driver shakes his hand at me. I really didn’t see him, but I wonder... Then downtown I go and I buy 3 plushies. I shall give one to the newborn daughter of an old friend. The other two sit there now on my bed, looking at me.

Since I simply cannot remember if I ever saw that show at all. About your thoughts on Mary Sues, I have to beg to disagree a little. It's more how a writer can savaged the actual canon characters that pains me. And since we're probably talking about that one fic writer, I have to say that to do her justice, I did read all of the fic just so in case I may have missed any redeeming feature within before I left a review. As for ganging up on one writer, well, all I have to say is that there was no collaboration on my part with anybody else in offering my opinion. Fantasies are all very well and good, since we all have them, otherwise where would these plot bunnies for fics come from? I guess I have a particular standard on how the canon characters are treated and making them fall in love with a Mary Sue is probably going too far for me. Saa..

It's so nice to get a whole day off to myself. I was totally productive, got one chapter of Paradigm Shift ready and posted, finally got around to proofreading In the Hands of an Uncaring God and rewrote part of that S/K lemon that I was so frustrated over. Whew! *sweatdrops* All in the midst of engaging in the longest chat I had ever been in. Mizu are you finally watching Fruits Basket? I think its great too. Its my favourite anime, though I'm a little over the compulsive watching that was my initial reaction to it. I watched it three times, back to back! Well I like Yuki too but my fav is still Shigure and of course Hatsuharu. Cool. Aishuu! I love you very very much! What was that for you ask? For giving me Kiss Kiss!
