a lot of stuff happened yesterday. let's see. . . got paid but forgot to pick up my check from the office, successfully bid for a gigahz pentium system on ebay, finally hung out with kathryn, stanford's busiest undergraduate, kicked ass in capcom vs. snk 2, saw c average cutthroat's 9 cherry valence and tight bros in the city with two guys named nick. that's way more than i usually do in one day, but i managed. i have some wonderfully profound insights on all those goings-on, but i'm too lazy to crystallize them right now.
great. i'm still an addict. now i can't stop using audiogalaxy. i'm sampling many wonderful bands i missed the first time around, including brainiac, silkworm, the replacements, the wrens, big star, sebadoh, the stooges, and thin lizzy. it's great that my musical horizons are expanding, but. . . ok, nevermind, i can't really think of a downside. well, there is the fact that most of my xfers don't go very fast, but that keeps the good folks at itss happy. mmm, yes, more free samples please. . .
