SVETLANA
is a fourteen-year old girl with Russian blood but Canadian heart [living in Montreal all her life, that's not too hard @.@]. She venerates the Supreme Gods [see further for details :P] and would give her life for them. As a good virgo, she knows when to be serious, quiet and smile to old, hatable ladies. I can't say I didn't proudly change my age in my profile ^^ Even though I really don't feel different from two days ago [as if I should >.<]. Well yesterday was the kind of boring family party. Even though the food was good, my parents invited this... old friend, and it kind of ruined everything XD. Oh, and did I mention that I had to suffer a toast which looked like: "Fourteen years passed since you were born, and I feel like it was yesterday...". Grmbl Mmbl. At least I received really nice presents : A tingy to tape your voice [luv my vocabulary...] ; great to proove a teacher's dumbness and fun during lunchtime, a white shirt, chocolates, a bag and... a mini-disc player! Woohoo!
My mom came back from shopping today... with the last two books from "Le Charbon et le Tartan"! O.o Now I've got them all... Yay/Snif.
Uuuh, bad news, girls - looks like it'll rain on Sunday. Now let's hope Meteomedia people are wrong this time >.<

The plot is good, the style of the author is ok, but I think the characters are all messed up! *Spoilers* The main girl, Claire, is... URGH! She has a [cool] husband in the XXth century. Then, she gets another [pretty cool] husband in the XVIIIth century. So technically, she betrayed the first one, right? And then, when she has a wonderful opportunity to leave the barbarian world, she can't because her heart can't betray Husband #2??? >I< preferred #1!

Happy September, Svet! Yup, this one's my favourite month, if you wanna know [even though Spring is my favourite season...] because the temperature is perfect, it's my birthday and the very beginning of school where everybody try their best...
Hmm... went to the Granby zoo with my lil' brother and parents. Really "..." on the felines and bears but the elephants, gorillas and reptiles were cool and one baby lion was adorable. Revives childhood memories ^^;;
And finally, the reason I'm up so early is that in 5 minutes, I leave for my cottage a very last time this year. Hasta la vista!

Sigh, school started yesterday, and my hippie mood is definitely gone for a long time. It's cool to be in sec. 3 though - you no longer feel young in that "free for all" place which is high school ^^ [My middle right finger is dead! I decided to write down all the courses we have for everyday for all the year @.@ I'm at the 25th of March, right now...]
Finally finished The Amber Spyglass! The book is good, Lord Asriel is cool and the ending sucks... or at least is depressing because I couldn't imagine any other.
Oh, and finally, my dad bought a colour printer! Just in time to print pictures for my locker and forget about those I took from the CD cases :P And if any of my friends have a request to print two or three colour pictures for their locker, don't hesitate to send me the pics! [I somehow feel powerful...]

Les vandales de Vidéotron ont encore frappé.
Gee, they turned off the internet at the worst imaginable moment, when my long-awaited download was at 99%! I had to survive without it for two days. And guess what? Because of that, I had a mega Final Fantasy VIII overdose : about 6 hours in a row! O.o beat that record... (hey, turn off that FFX! I'm talking about the >8th< version right now)
Laurent was exactly like in the camp - I first thought he was cute and innocent, and that it was easy to babysit a little angel like that, but after an hour, I came to the conclusion that he needs >lots< of attention and is, in good kébékois a "bébé gâté"! Imagine this: we played baby foot, and the score was 21:9... for him! Everytime I did a goal, I could hear "I wasn't prepared" or "huh? I didn't see how it went inside the hole, so it doesn't count". Grrr... (should I add that he simply had no choice to give me my 9 points?)
Oh and Luci, could you name Asian and anime too, please? Thanks for sharing... your musical tastes ^^

Yay. Finally back from my cottage [how many times am I gonna say that this summer?]. Well nothing much to say [bis] only that I'm dying to have a new layout and more content in my Frozen Flare site and maybe a clique and a shrine... guess that'll come in fall ^^

Back to civilisation again [yeah, you guessed I was at my cottage] and for once I think these 3 days "in contact with nature [and PS2]" were not so bad! Mostly because I was only with my dad and there were no brothers around and partly because there's a lake there so the heat is bearable and because I could rent movies - so I rented The Others and A Beautiful Mind. The first one was very good, especially with the appropriate circumstances [10 PM, lights off, alone in the house surrounded by a wood] and the second one was OK, but really not my type. Luci - Now it's my turn to definitely declare the vendetta to the Super [ya right!] Club Videotron - The "A Beautiful Mind" DVD had thousands of errors and I missed about 10 minutes of the movie, grrr...
Hey, how are you, girls? Hehe, at first I was mad at my parents not letting me go for the second week, but with that heat, I'd probably gone mad by now...
Gee, I'm so depressed because I really want to babysit, and no one calls me :( Even my neighbors ask Nat to come. Kids really hate me, do they?
Oh and Nat - why am I suddently feeling that I have been ripped off: 5 hours of babysitting and you could've asked for 40$? I usually get 25$ when I babysit Sandrine and Morgane for the same time T.T Oh well...
Well finally, I am now wasting my time on replaying Harvest Moon BTN and Final Fantasy... VIII! Believe it or not, I solemnly (ahem) decided to finish EVERY finishable game I own [FFVII, FFVIII, FFX, Dark Cloud, CC... @.@] whenever I have the time. Because I always have the bad habit to suddently give up during the last 5 hours of gameplay, so this makes FFIX the only game I've passed... *shame*

Gee, I still can't believe that I will have no more implique until august 2003 [haha, we'll be *so* laughing at the people at school (even though we suffered too)]. Grroar - couldn't use the internet these past days because of technical and, well, family problems [*cough*, *cough*]. But the only news up to today are: my implique [unpaid obligatory work that we need to do for school if we don't want to be kickedout, if you prefer] in a day camp in my old primary school with 6-10 year old kids.
Hmmm... what can I say? It is a fun work, even if I'm extremely tired the evening, even if some children are exhausting and annoying or cry all the time, even if I don't feel like waking up at seven, even if you have to participate in their cheap games [same thing everyday T_T]. But these obstacles are actually the fun part! Peace everybody.

Enfin, my so awaited [at least by my myself] new pinky layout! Please sign my guestbook with your comments ^.~ Luci too got a new pink birthday layout - wich is, by the way, as spiffy as usual. Prediction: my bday layout will probably be red... Anyhow, just a question to you, girls, does my font [century gothic] show up on your computers and will Mac users be able to see it? Hopefully, because I think it suits the layout well, even though I doubt it.
No more pagenames for me >.< The "...", "yay!" and "!!!" titles are getting really annoying.
My family is so funny to watch... We four decided to go see a movie - the problem is that my mom doesn't speak english so french was the only option. I wanted to see MIIB but my brother already saw it. My brother wanted to see Austin Powers, but Sean already invited me on Saturday. I then proposed Signs but my dad hated the preview. I let you guess my brother's reaction when I proposed Stuart Little. Conclusion: we're going to the chinese restaurant.
How was Minority Report? Well first of all, Nat and I both agree on one thing: it was excellent and cheap at the same time:
1. The actors were satisfying.
2. The time (2054) was unrealistically represented.
3. There were some really nasty parts they should have cut, in my opinion.
4. The action was very good - the nicest part of the movie, of course. 5. It kept my brain busy! I checked the time only once even if it lasted 2 hours and a half.
Well, en résumé, I say: if you feel like watching a movie, go see it. It won't oblige anyone [like I would for LotR ^^] but I think you'll be satisfied.
