11:27 p.m. today yimyiu came to my house to upload pictures from our phones and kiaying's phone to the computer. we took a long time to upload kiaying's pictures. got frustrated. haha. went causeway point coz yimyiu wanted to buy t-shirt from giordano. we complained to each other about our families' quarreling history. after yimyiu left for home, i realised i forgot to buy papa's dinner and some household items. on the way i was thinking of getting something for sammi but in the end i didnt coz errr yah as ive mentioned i have no money. and papa didnt pay me back the money for dinner and the groceries. some guy came over to fix papa's computer. papa found a cpu in his boot. and so he bought a keyboard and mouse to go with the old monitor. it is working now but there's something wrong with the internet. sammi's coming tomorrow. am excited. but i dont dare to have high hopes like taking photos with her and all sorts. ive decided to go to the airport and junction 8 only. coz i dont have tickets to the press conference, esplanade dinner, movie forum and movie premiere. told you that i wont be lucky. i shall reveal what that "it" is tomorrow, as requested by grace. but even if i reveal, i am equally clueless about it. the amount of curiosity inside me is enough to kill a meowmeow 10 times. joanne messaged me this afternoon. i love receiving messages from joanne. coz everytime it will be some flora news. saw that ts has the vcds of wong fei hung and 13th aunt. and yimyiu was saying "aiyoh xuelin! you should stop buying all the old old shows." and i told her that this is a new show and she said "aiyoh dont buy this kind of china/taiwan shows la, buy the normal tvb shows." hahaahha i wish too. but since flora's inside i shall consider buying it, while waiting for the second volume to come out. as usual, boh3 lui1.
wednesday, september 28 2005 met up with jasmine to pass her the tickets. she developed the photos that we took during karaoke. there were some nice pictures, but there was one which i was caught off guard when she snapped it. omg that was soo hideous. haha.
10:23 p.m. dr choi was super funny today. he was talking about the singapore culture, and wanted to talk about girls nowadays wearing mini skirts and low-cut tops. guess what? he shot his mouth off saying "low breast" (ie. the direct translation of di1 xiong1). and we all laughed until got stomach pain. and he said "sorry arh, too much contact with the group doing on breast cancer foundation, and the poster of the movie...". hahahahhahahaha. like that also can. he's so funny that i seldom fall asleep during his lecture. =) had a 50-minute phone conversation with yimyiu. meiqi, if you are reading this, dont feel upset ok? when you miss singapore or the latest entertainment news in singapore, come and read my blog. your alternative source of informtion and crap. ahahhaha. time will pass by very quickly. like its going to be october in no time. and in another month's time i'll be having exams. and then my holidays and yayayayayay we can see each other again when you come back!!! cross out the days on your calendar as each day passes. =D im thinking whether i should skip lecture on friday or not. ok i confirm going to the airport. i'd probably be among the unlucky ones and i wont be able to attend the dinner with her at 6pm. so if im going that means i have to go for the fans meeting at 7pm. for the nlb thing, the website says there's a talk about shanghai. i suppose it is that. but it starts at 7pm and ends at 830pm. maybe mi will go at 8pm for half an hour lor. then i didnt receive any message from i weekly so it means i didnt win any tickets. yah thats it. poor sammi. travel here and there. the organisers cant use their brains to schedule the venues close to each other at a closer time. changi airport-orchard-city hall-bishan-dhoby ghaut-orchard. this is what i call huan dao zhui zhui zhui, and we literally zhui her everywhere. hahahah. ive told yimyiu about "it" too. apparently the news is somewhat true. but... kitson says its malaysia on 2nd, and singapore on the other days. shoot me. the rest are all freaking weekdays!!! and the busiest weekdays among all!!! urgh. tsk tsk tsk. i need to be ready for it.
11:31 p.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY YONGJIE! mr peter lim, the editor-in-chief of the straits times from 1978-1987, came for our 102 lecture and had a sort of dialogue session with us. dr choi amused us with his list of true blue singaporean behaviour, and the movie money no enough during 111 lecture. there were only 45 people during 106 lecture. santiago was showing us some clips of news and sales presentation. i was copying points and doodling the paper with my idols' names at the same time. and i did a sammi banner design but i doubt i will be using/doing it. papa remembers yongjie's birthday but forgot about mine. he bought a cake for him too. papa didnt give me any presents for my birthday. not to mention, he forgot about this week's allowance coz yongjie is currently on holiday. then when we took out the cake, papa came out of the room with a plastic bag in his hands and gave it to yongjie. it was a $500+ panasonic digicam. .... and yongjie didnt seem at all happy about it. i asked him and he said he'd rather get an electric guitar. so i asked him to give me the camera. and he said no. =( oh well, never mind. im a gracious sister. i shall stick to my old film camera. the trusty camera that has accompanied me throughout all my idol chasing. thanks to yunxin for buying a ticket from me. we are going to have a "buy 4 get 1 free" promotion, only on wednesday afternoon. so do come down to canteen a and b to buy tickets! hahah ok i know people who read my blog are constantly bombarded by my advertisements. so BUY BUY BUY!!! so far ive only told yunxin and eileen. told yunxin coz i really cant stand keeping something so exciting to myself, and i know she wont tell others. told eileen coz since ive already told someone else, then i dont mind telling her and i think she will keep it a secret. PLEASE PLEASE dont say it out. thanks! if you want to know, simple. buy at least 2 tickets from me and i will tell you. hahahaha. the gum area beside my wisdom tooth is hurting like mad. i want to pull the tooth out soon but i cant afford staying at home for 5 days and thus missing school. as much as i like to stay home, sleep till i automatically wake up, watch whatever vcds that i like, etc., i cant afford to miss school coz i have at least 1 presentation every week. urgh. the earliest i can pull my tooth out is during study week. either that or its after exams. haiz. papa found a cpu in his taxi boot. he brought it back, connected it to the old computer screen, bought a keyboard and mouse and he intended to use it. but there was something wrong with the cpu so cannot use yet. the keyboard he bought is the same brand as mine but the keys are like those of laptops! so cool. people who know my typing habits will know that i type like im going to murder the keypads. loud and banging. hahaha. so that new keyboard is just right for me. but err i think i wont use it la. the parts that im watching now of ATE is the best parts of the show. just nice where helen and barry got married. because the early parts are the beginning where the people are not familiar with each other, and the back parts show the climax where ah biu becomes bad and all that. so now the birthday boy complains that i type too loudly and affects his beauty sleep. haha fine. i shall go sleep too.
11:50 p.m. watched ATE and a kindred spirit. ironed all my clothes. maybe nowadays ive been reading fanfics that has jessica and/or flora and these fanfics have melissa in them, and just nice i watched her in a kindred spirit, and that tvb is starting to push her up with damas like into thin air, fantasy hotel, healing hands 3, etc. that i begin to like melissa more. hahahaa. shall let out a secret that nobody knows. i really mean nobody. that i started to like evonne because i feel that she looks like melissa. ahahahahaha. you wouldnt have guessed that right? but anyway both ladies have their qualities. and i think they are good singers and actresses respectively, and they are nice people. hhahaha. sian. its going to be the start of a hectic week. next week's worse. i need not sleep during these 2 weeks. oh no, i still need to go see sammi. haiz. omg. omg. omg. omg. omg. omg. omg. omg. omg. omg. omg. i cant let this piece of news out. much as i'd like to announce to the whole world, i seriously cant. call me selfish if you like, but i just cant say. and it isnt really confirmed yet. thanks to veronica for telling me about it. the rough outline is confirmed but what about the details? i need the details. i cant afford to miss anything. im going to cry if i missed anything. hahahahahaa. hopefully i will know the details as soon as possible. going to sleep le. start of a never-ending week.
01:35 a.m. found the bustling sammi discussion forum. and inside the forum it has everything. from her flight info and her one-day schedule to wearing a pink shirt to the events. i dont have a pink shirt!! err does the vv drama shirt count? its disgustingly ugly and bright. and its large!! ok shall find a way to get hold of a pink shirt. went shopping for furniture with gujie. nothing is bought. went to whampoa for dinner. i love my grandparents. =) gujie and i went to the causeway point ts and oooh i want to scream! i saw touching venus vcds on sale!!! the box is rather nice. and the price isnt steep, unlike poh kim who earns big bucks by ovecharging people. gujie was already wanting to buy for me, but i stopped her and said i need to consider. yes im living on a tight budget. especially since ntu deducted a whale-sum for the school fees. im currently waiting for the price to drop a bit before buying. and of course the next best reason not to buy it is that i have A LOT of vcds to buy. literally broke.
vcds that i want to buy: i am in a financial crisis. please help me. firstly by buying the movie tickets for charity. then help me find belle and ko shan's watch. (it is the same watch anyway.) then give me some money to buy vcds. last but not least, get me a seat beside sammi at the movie premiere as well as the funny dinner with fans. thank you very much.
11:50 p.m. freak. pitas automatically signed me out when i pressed the done! button. so i have to retype again. yesterday when i was having my lunch during the 4 hours of attempting to sell tickets, i saw a girl wearing belle's watch! the very same watch that i have been searching high and low for!!! but hers was a little yellowish. it must be that she didnt take care of it. i didnt dare to approach her. thinking back, i should have been thick-skinned and asked her where she bought the watch from. if anyone of you knows where to buy the watch, please tell me. so that i can go and buy it myself, and please make sure that it isnt out of stock so that i wont make a wasted trip. or alternatively you can buy it first then i pay you back. either that or you can might as well buy it for me. heehee. thanks! today i sold tickets at canteen b with amelia. managed to get more donations so i kind of redeemed myself for the very very pathetic turnout yesterday. but as usual im the least prductive seller of the group. ooooh amelia and i were happily chatting about tvb dramas and all that. then she said that in her OG during CS camp, there was a guy who looked like joe. upon hearing that i had totally gone mad. "WHERE? SHOW ME!!" and she said ok. then at the lift she saw him and pointed him out to me and i was like "where got look like...". he's tall and dark like joe. then again, which other random guy isnt tall and dark? he has a long face like joe. but his hair is too long and messy so i think he doesnt look like my darling. ok la some of his features resemble joe's but when they are all put together, he doesnt resemble joe a lot. say, 40%. i mean, if he was sooo dashing and looks absolutely like joe, then there is no reason for me not to notice him at the first sight since he's in CS. so in conclusion, its a bit of the resemblence. but i still prefer my darling. notice that ive been talking about flora and joe in my first two paragraphs. so my third paragraph will be about.... yes flora and joe. ahhahaa. ph has added a new chapter in her old fanfic! its been ages since ive read a full flora fanfic. nowadays the fanfics that i read are of jessica and louis. so ph's newest installment has given me surprises and it brings me back to the wonderful memories of TITS and ph's nice story. ahahhaha. i wonder when ph will start on her new story. but then again, if the rumour is true, that winglin will close down in december, then im going to lose another channel of entertainment. it seems that there's no point in hiding anymore. i shall come clean. im married to joe ma. oh no. thats not what im going to come clean about. ahahah. sammi's coming to singapore on 30 september for the movie premiere of everlasting regret. which is coincidentally on daniel's birthday. so grace, pray hard that daniel's coming and you can then celebrate his birthday with him for the second time. and then i am going to pull you to come with me to see sammi. hahhaha.
11:23 p.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASMINE! sold tickets after tutorial. i mean, attempted to sell tickets. zilch response. only a pathetic 2+1 dollars donation from meizhen and meilan respectively. quite demoralising. papa bought a dvd player and it arrived in the evening. they gave free dvds of jewel in the palace, aka dai cheung gum or da chang jin. i wont watch it la so if you want to borrow from me feel free to do so. jasmine is such a darling. she agrees to buy tickets from me without any complaints or whatsoever. she just said "ok i will ask my friends to come along. how do i pass you the money?" i was absolutely grateful to her and i kept thanking her (even till now) and she simply said that thats what friends are for. i am very touched by it. nobody has ever said that to me. thanks so much jasmine! happy 21st birthday! i cant wait for 30 september. first time. anyone going with me? i dont mind going myself too.
11:33 p.m. crushed with tonnes of projects. had a new project for 106, have to sell tickets for 111, rushed for 102 project in between the selling of tickets, and now there's an essay for 101. urgh. by the way, today dr chen did a very interesting thing during lecture. kenny was in lecture while dr chen wasnt, and kenny showed a screen with the blackboard chatroom and he was talking to dr chen. so dr chen was like having her lesson via the chatroom. but it was rather slow coz the text typing and all that were pretty retarded. and there werent much responses from the class. then one guy called jeremy went into the chatroom using his laptop. hahahaha from then on the lecture became very funny. another 4 people came in consecutively and they talked some crap. ahahhaa. dr chen was super funny. she said her mother doesnt know how to use the computer. she said when her mother turns on the computer, she'll be scared. (then i was thinking, scared? of what? monsters?) hahah then the next line she continued that she's scared that she will damage the computer. -_-" hahahahah. uaditsol is super nice! ahahaha. flora's going to shoot a new movie! i cant wait to watch it. ticket sales are horrible. please help me pass my project.
11:32 p.m. in today's 108 tutorial we learnt how to make websites with dreamweaver. quite easy but a bit impractical coz you can only use that method if have dreamweaver. and i dont have that. so i still think its best to stick to the normal html. though difficult, but its the most widely used one. hahaha. after school my project group went to put up posters in the different schools. wah it was so tiring. melissa and i went into creepy science buildings with people doing experiments and having only a few lights on. hahhahaha. walked until tired. come home with a bad gastric. im supposed to do my research. but im now gossipping and bitching with eileen on msn. ahahhaha.
11:45 p.m. today downloaded a clip of flora making mooncakes in shanghai. her mandarin has improved tremendously! she has certainly worked hard to improve it for the sake of her fans (ie. us!) coz she once said that her fans would like her to learn mandarin, so she diligently practiced it whenever possible and ta-dah! a multilingual flora chan. heh heh. by the way, when is she coming? its already mid september. to adel and jean: in case you havent know, raymond's coming tomorrow 1140pm dont know what flight from hong kong. wednesday 1300-1400 yes 93.3 interview 1500-1630 yummy yummy press conference at cineleisure level 6. not open to public but if you have time to spare and want to try your luck, you can wait for their arrival and departure at cine carpark. raymond's leaving immediately so he's probably taking the evening flight back to hongkong. the end. i didnt go check on any updates so if my news is outdated dont blame me. hahahah. yay a taste of love is starting in 25 minutes. im currently watching ATE, just the flora parts and other parts that i want to watch again, so i keep forwarding the vcds. ahhh. why did they cut out helen and joe's parts? i wanted to see their chemistry but it died very soon when their parents got married. haiz.

11:41 p.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSLYN! went kbox with kennise, karen, jasmine and cindy. poor jean was sick and still is sick so she couldnt come. they had lunch without me! haha never mind i get to save money. then cindy kept saying some "good friend" thingy (hao peng you) i was confused over it but i didnt probe la coz they said will tell me later. we went to the kbox at paradiz centre. kennise whispered something to karen and the two of them sneaked out while the 3 of us started choosing songs. then kennise called me and asked me to choose a birthday song for jasmine. but jasmine didnt sing so i cant choose songs without her knowing. so the 2 of them were stalled outside with the cake. luckily soon jasmine sang and i chose some rubbishy birthday song and they brought the cake in. yay! happy early birthday jasmine! the cake was nice. overall we sang like siao. i was like having my own concert. hahahaha. screamed and danced and jumped that i overturned my cup of lemon tea. oops. hahaha. took photos and laughed and all sorts. was very very fun! jean next time we go again after the exams okay? hahaha. and do consider about the malaysia thing, even though im not sure whether i can go too.. kennise brought us to some ulu shopping centre for dinner. we had the fried wanton noodles and it was yummilicious. hhahahaha. thanks jasmine for treating us! then they finally told me that my good friend is coming. i was thinking who in the world is my good friend and why do i not know if my good friend is coming? ya la so i soon guessed that they were referring to raymond. hahahahaha. they said xinming says he's coming today at 8pm. so i called jean and she said not today la. ahhaa. i feel like going to the airport to fetch them leh. even though they arent my idols, but i think i have an affinity with them coz i saw all three of them at the airport that time when i was working there. but then i think will clash with my classes. hahaha never mind la. had so much fun with the group. we talked so much today. heh heh. oh to update, i received my flora photos. the blur seller forgot to send the photos. luckily they werent lost in the mail. we cant sell our charity tickets. and we cant lower the price of the tickets. because we have 500 seats, and 15x500=7500. cathay takes back 3800 for rental of the cinemas, thus that leaves us with 7500-3800=3700 for BCF. if we lower the price to 10, then we will only raise 1200. which is embarrassingly low. we will be having a reception after the premiere so it'll be like 15 dollars for a cool movie (usual thursday price about 8 plus) 1 buck off popcorn combos, the reception probably costs more than 7 dollars and you can contribute to charity. what are you waiting for?
11:16 p.m. went for 102 project meeting at plaza singapura. mm we had a hard time getting down to what our main points will be coz we were kind of stuck here and there so in the end we decided to change question. and yet we were faced with some definition problems. we finally got things done by 5 plus. the seats at macdonalds were so warmed by us that they might be burning anytime if we had sat there any longer. after that sarah went off first, so joanna and i went down to poh kim to take a look. ooooh a handful of love vcds are out. as usual it costs freakingly expensive. 59.90. a 5-dollar difference from tguit means a 2-episode difference. so it means that each vcd is 2.50. then a drama with 20 episodes should cost 50 bucks. and since poh kim has storewide half price they should be selling at 25 bucks. okay maybe got to add the prices of the boxes and the covers. 30 bucks? in your dreams. the original price(i mean without the half price) of a regular 20 episode drama cost more than a hundred now. the older shows are about 80 bucks. so bloody expensive. even old time buddy which has 25 episodes and compressed into hard box type sells at 47.80, which is soooo much cheaper than ahol. anyway in conclusion i didnt buy ahol. yet. spoke to qianyu on the way home. i didnt send her off at the airport just now. so we had a phone chat which lasted about half an hour. i am going to miss qianyu. she's probably sleeping on the plane now. two days later it will be meiqi's turn to fly off. i am so going to miss her so much. =( meiqi! whos gonna share lobangs with me for the next year?!?!?! boohoohoo. i taped the last episode of drunken angels. so i didnt bother to remember the details. ahhahaha so i will post it up maybe a few days later. but i think nobody cares about it la except me. hahaha. but i want to bring out a point. something that i find it too excessive. spoilers la but who cares. at the very last part, ah long kissed song kuk 3 times on the cheek consecutively. THREE TIMES!! i dont really think it is necessary to kiss her so many times in the same scene. is he trying to take advantage of my dear idol? aiyoh. hahahaha. after drunken angels, tvbj will be showing a taste of love. yay! oh no. should i be happy or not? happy because i can tape the full cantonese version? not happy because i have to spend time and money to tape each episode that ive watched before? should i tape just flora parts? no. because i had taped the mandarin one with all flora parts before. hmm. how about flora and joe parts? probably. how about raymond and miriam parts? probably adel and jean will want to borrow from me to watch their raymond. aiya heck la. tape all. anyway i want to hear how flora sounds like in ATOL coz the mandarin one made her sound very very very softspoken.
11:34 p.m. went to nus to sell tickets again. everyone was far from interested. nice emily purposely came down to talk to me and she says she will buy tickets from me. =) huichuan and fatma were stopped by me and arefa respectively, and the two of them were having a hard time deciding whether to buy or not. in the end we gave them time to consider la. so they are probably coming back tomorrow. wanyie also helped by donating a small amount. my favourite senior, melissa, is such a dear. although she didnt buy any tickets from me, she donated a small amount to help us. err her donation actually comes from her friend. hahhahha coz as usual she is always broke. i love my favourite senior. =D sales was worse than yesterday. we sold 5 tickets today. FIVE!!! 1/3 of yesterday! two of the tickets were bought by audrey. she was sitting at the bench beside ours and i didnt notice her there until moses approached her. she is interested in the movie so i was really touched that she bought tickets. thanks audrey!!! =D a huge bunch of thanks to emily, wanyie, huichuan, melissa, audrey, and eileen (its ok if you cant make it, at least you bothered to help me. =D ) and so today was my last day at nus coz i have off tomorrow. and i have another project tomorrow. we left nus with horrible sales. went to marina square to find the girls for kbox. had a hard time finding the kbox coz the marina square directions were so messy. i reached at 5pm so i had less than 2 hours to sing. but never mind la, i dont mind. coz i love singing. ahhaha. yiling sang all her favourite mayday songs. michelle was the oldies queen. basically all the songs that she chose we dont know how to sing. grace anyhow chose her songs. she chose the cantonese songs to watch her darling daniel in the mtv. ahhaa. superstar cuilin impressed us with her powerful vocals. we were all swept away by her. yimyiu didnt sing a lot of songs on her own. maybe she did before i arrived. the lead star of the day meiqi had the least contact with the microphones. the shy girl simply refused to sing by herself. huiyi came in at 645pm and she's another superstar. cuilin's the powerhouse and huiyi's the sweet-girl-voice. im... nothing la. i just like to sing. =) we took a lot of photos, some group ones and some candid ones. the one that im most satisfied with is the picture that i took of yiling and cuilin kissing meiqi on the cheeks. ahahhaha. my dai biao zuo. we had so much fun. we were all singing together, and reaching the end, cuilin, meiqi and i were singing ai qing san shi liu ji while jumping and dancing on the sofa. hahahaha. to be exact, we were copying jolin's moves. ahahha. kiaying came after we finished singing and we took many group photos outside kbox coz we werent happy with how the first few shots turned out to be. hahaha. then later cuilin and i went off without dinner coz she got to go home early and dinner was waiting for me at home. i told cuilin to join project superstar next time, so that i can show off to people that im her friend. ahahahaha. i love watching UADITSOL. so does yongjie. he pops into my room to watch it while papa watches the news outside. jason and yama are so suited for each other. hahah. the papers said that maggie had some neck infection just like sammi. and its a coincidence that both actresses are leading actresses for everlasting regret, tv and movie versions respectively. so the papers speculated that it might be some curse or something. rubbish la. i dont recall seeing swollen pictures of maggie in the tvb forums. so it came as a shock to me that maggie has neck infections. im pretty accurate at predicting what will happen next in any tv serials. so unless its really difficult, it should be chicken-feed to me. =)
episode 19: ah yong got news that ah long and company are in sam shui, and intends to set off to find them. but before he can do that, his people tell him that ah long is back in fut shan. lip man kwan learns the truth from ah ying, he teaches ah yong a lesson by bashing him up. ah ying pleads her father to let him off on account that he has taken good care of her for so many years. ah yong found ah long's hiding place, and calls the police to catch ah long and put him into jail. sei yeh is being asked to intercede and to investigate. meanwhile, ah long's mother knocks her head onto the wall, and when she wakes up, she becomes clear-minded again. she asks wai ting to "accompany" ah long in jail. wai ting does it by eating expensive food but refusing to pay. he hides a milti-functional key in his shoes, but ah long forbids him to use it coz he doesnt want people to think that he runs away because he is guilty. sei yeh interrogates the fellow jailbirds, and he finds out the truth by discovering a carved slab beneath the hay in the cell. the unscrupulous ah yong decides to finish off sei yeh and ah long and all together to ease his worries, and he sets a fire in the jail. all the prisoners are locked inside. the burnt bodies are brought out, wai ting is fine. sei yeh is said to be dead, and ah long has gone mad. (i seriously think that it is all a trap for ah yong to fall into. sei yeh is not dead and ah long is certainly not mad.) according to the village rules, anyone who is mad cannot be sentenced to death. ah yong is pissed. song kuk hopes to help ah long, so she goes to ah yong and begs him to let ah long off. he agrees on a condition that she must marry him. mei fung is angry and she gets into a struggle with ah yong. her fake tummy falls off. ah yong is infuriated and pushed mei fung onto the floor. she cries out in pain, song kuk takes her pulse and revealed that she is really pregnant. however, ah yong is indifferent about it. when song kuk tells mei fung that she has a miscarriage due to the previous fall, mei fung is devastated. ah yong is relieved. mei fung still likes ah yong and doesnt mind being the second wife. song kuk visits ah long in the mad people cell, and tells him that she is going to marry ah yong. but she doesnt want to be his wife, so she is determined to become ah long's wife before she gets married to ah yong. she intends to strip before him. (at this point i saw that ah long looks shocked.) she hugs him. (he didnt retaliate.) ah yong peeps into the cell. (ah long saw ah yong.) he pushes song kuk away and kicks her a few times. ah yong dashes in and tells song kuk to give up on ah long and be his wife. ah yong lets ah long out. the family is happy to see him. ah yong's people send the engagement gifts to song kuk, everyone sees it and questions song kuk. song kuk tries to hide any disappointment.

episode 18: song kuk and ah long's relationship improves day by day. wai ting and kwan bak come to meet them. kwan bak continues to teach ah long drunken 8 immortals. kwan bak fusses that ah long's moves are too traditional, and that he lacks the most important element- the wine. lip man kwan comes to sam shui to find ah long, thinking that ah long has captured ah ying. they engage in a fight.
11:06 p.m. realised that i have a lot of work to do. 108 essay, 102 project, 111 project, and the whole stack of readings that never seem to end. went to esplanade with qianyu, yanting, puayleng and yinglan for dinner. thus i couldnt come home in time to watch beyond the axis of truth. but when i reached home at 930pm, it was showing wu sang and the fat guy. so i suppose the front part only talks about the funny phone and guo liang. hahahahah.
episode 17:
10:27 p.m. watched the last 2 episodes of TGUIT. i almost cried when i watched the part where morning sir and his father finally met. i knew the ending last year, so i didnt expect much from morning sir and nicole. as ive promised, i will do my review of TGUIT, but not now. coz i must recall everything first. after finishing TGUIT, i suddenly have an interest to learn morse code. and i realised that the morse code in the show is somewhat wrong. they have this sentence: Dad Loves U, so they used the morse code of D, L and U. in the show they represented L as ---, but it should be .-.. hahaha. now i love experimenting with morse code. =) watched beyond the axis of truth. ok la they didnt copy TGUIT's plot totally, but the idea is there. guo liang and jacelyn? totally mismatched. jace looks like his daughter.

11:18 p.m. went to whampoa to visit my grandparents and gujie. the small room at the back of the kitchen is ready. met beh-deh at the econ minimart downstairs and he paid for the things that i intended to give to popo for her birthday. hahaha. they were showing drunk partners on channel 8 this afternoon. it was hilarious. francis ng looks very very funny when he hides in the dustbin. after watching a kindred spirit, there was a short tralier of beyond the axis of truth. the first segment of the show is called across dimensions, starring jacelyn and guo liang. the trailer shows a small handphone with guo liang talking through mms or video conferencing (or whatever), saying that he is from the 70s. and then ivy lee picks up that handphone, which is "old" and battery-less, and "surprisingly" hears her mother's voice in the 70s over the phone. i scream out: "they copied that from to get unstuck in time!!!! copycat!!!" how unoriginal can mediacorp get. first they get christopher to act as a dimwit and make him singapore's ah wong. then now they rip off TGUIT's most important plot and placed it in a segment starring jacelyn. yeah. probably the most creative part of it all is, that, instead of putting now-and-then scenes side by side, like in TGUIT, they place the scenes one on top of another. har har har. if not for the fact that jacelyn is in the segment, i wouldnt even bother to watch it. watched super trio as soon as i reached home. i love watching super trio. papa made a cup of milo, and the cup couldnt withstand the heat and it broke by itself, sending the milo splattering all over the kitchen. so the 3 of us wiped the cabinets and washed all the stained dishes and stuffs. it was so much work for a cup of milo.
12:59 a.m. papa finished watching his soccer, so i quickly went to watch the movie. the first scene that i saw my joe in is the part where he is talking to the press. joe's character is a police officer called wah zhong wah, or officer wah, or water wah. he likes his colleague mona, played by carina lau. she likes him too but she wants him to divorce his wife, and he doesnt want to. he is a cowardly person la hahahaha. i find it very amusing to watch him. one day, mona is captured by some serial bomber, and the bomber places a bomb on mona's chair and she cannot lift her weight from the chair otherwise it will explode. water is worried about her, but when she asks him if he will save her, he replied that he is going to get a promotion and the police force needs him badly. he scurries off leaving mona behind. ahahahha. then some guy with mental illness saves mona just before the bomb explodes. during the explosion, a swivel chair is being thrown out and it hits poor water who is standing at the ground level watching the explosion. ahhahahaha that is very hilarious. soon the rest of the "pretty policewomen" nab the bomber but the bomber decides to explode himself. a press conference is held, and water holds the conference with a big bandage that looks like a singh-turban. hahahahaha it was very very funny. i love it when joe has a straight face while making people laugh. =D oooh, and mona dates the crazy guy and she regrets it very much. ahahahhaha. at first i read the title of the show on the magazine, i thought it was some R(A) show. leng lui chai goon. but its not. it is a true blue comedy. starring eason chan, carina lau, lee san san, jerry lamb, cheung tat ming, and ma tak chung (my dear joe). luckily i didnt allow myself to miss the show. thanks to adel for telling me about it at around the same time as i watch it. probably coz my father, borther and adel all watch the man u match. hahahaha.
11:06 p.m. i added a new tagboard. ever since the closure of my ill-fated guestbook, my blog was shut off from any comments from anyone. but now ive decided to add a tagboard! feel free to give comments but dont spam my board!! if not then i'll have to close it like my poor guestbook. went to pasir ris to develop my free 8R photos. the train ride from admiralty to pasir ris alone takes 1 hour and 2 minutes. everything seems so familiar when i stepped foot at the mrt station. its like i immediately know my way here and there. ya la coz ive been living there for 15 years. took a peek at my old house. all the windows were shut. our leftover plants were still there. it seems like they havent finish renovating it. oooh i feel so sad now. i want to enter the house and live the way i did during the past 15 years. met up with meiqi, yimyiu, yiling and kiaying to buy meiqi's presents. had a great time shopping. =) my schedule is absolutely packed for the next week. so i think i'd better finish all my essays and project stuffs before thursday. i hate it when people lean on the pole in the mrt. the poles are for people, and i mean everyone, to hold onto so that they wont lose their balance. to whoever who likes to lean on mrt poles: you do not own the entire pole. when you lean on it, you occupy 75% of the pole. then who else in the world, besides people who are 2m tall, can grab hold of it while your whole sticky body is stuck to it? go buy your own pole since you like leaning on them so much. i dont mind if they lean when the train is not very crowded, but when it is very crowded, they should be considerate and let people hold onto it. no wonder people always say singaporeans are inconsiderate. this is also very true for the case of the escalators. are the people illiterate, blind or they simply cant differentiate left and right? KEEP LEFT. singaporeans just anyhow stand on the escalators like they own the whole escalator and dont give a damn about people who are rushing for time or the train. i feel annoyed about these situations and i tend to be pissed whenever i come across such people. i weekly says that the 1030pm movie tonight has joe. although they didnt mention his name, his picture was enlarged and placed on top of the movie synopsis. but papa is watching soccer now so i guess i'll have to give the movie a miss. anyway i think his screentime will be very little.
01:23 a.m. omg i must blog about this. i just went to jessica's bravenet forum, and i saw jessica's message. without any replies. usually her message will form a string of replies. so i hurriedly post a rely to her and yay! i am the first to reply to her!!! hahaahah. although she posted at 102am and i replied at 115am. hahahaha. yay! first time leh. usually i seldom reply her messages coz the strings are just too long and i doubt she will read all the replies. ahahahha. oooh i feel good.=D
11:27 p.m. these few days ive been blogging a lot about school. they probably bore you out. then again, my entries might all along have been boring to you. hahaha whatever. as for my episodes summaries, they are for me to remember coz i didnt tape the show. so next time if i want to recall about the synopsis then i can have something to refer to. ive been watching the preview of vv drama since 6 september. today is the last day of previewing. watched the last episode of on the track or off, watched a bit of hidden treasures, seed of hope and jewel in the palace. watched a few episodes of war and beauty. as well as TGUIT. oooh ive got a lot of comments. WAB: i got a feeling of treachery when i watched the show. like everyone's playing a game, guessing what steps they will take the next and plan for their own survival. gigi gives me an impression that she is some spoilt brat and she is absolutely rude and annoying. charmaine is her sworn sister who's sweet and polite and well-mannered. sheren is the concubine that has a lot of power, almost overpowering the empress. so she has that upper hand in the palace. maggie is the head of all the palace maids, her authority is somewhat higher than gigi and charmaine, who are currently waiting for the emperor to pick them as concubines. moses is some fellow who got a job in the palace, i dont know what his job is. bowie is the imperial physician who is arrogant and ambitious. out of the four female leads, somehow i prefer maggie's on sin. and i absolutely detest gigi's yuk ying. before i watched the show, i dislike gigi for her real life character. after watching, i dislike her even more because i feel that she isnt acting; she's just displaying her true character on the tv screen. i seriously think that tvb shouldnt give her that best female lead award last year. her performance was totally bleah. out of the 4, only maggie wasnt nominated last year. i feel that tvb is biased. because based on performance, maggie can be comparable to the other 3 actresses. why is it that she is the only one left out? TGUIT: i cant stand it when the mandarin dubbings pronounced "nicole" as nee1 cole3. the emphasis should be on the "cole" instead of the "ni". they shouldnt assume that most names when pronounced by hk people have the emphasis placed on the first syllable. although this is quite true. like FLOra, Ada, BOwie, DOdo, HElen, CINdy. but no. nicole should be pronounced in the singaporean way. like terRY, jaSON, kelVIN, etc. watched the nkf tape that gujie helped me tape a few months ago. it was so obvious that mingshun and wenfang were trying to avoid each other. because they were scheduled to come out together but wenfang chose to walk slower, so they walked out one fast one slow. other than that the show wasnt very exciting. yesterday night i browsed through garfield's website and i saw a professor garfield website, and there are many new games there! ahahah amused myself with the games, and i watched a cool video of jim davis drawing garfield out with the snap of our fingers. love watching ups and downs in the sea of love. even though i watched a bit last time when they showed it on tvbj, it was nice watching it all over from the top. and again the show proves that maggie is a good actress. even though i already declared that she was my previous idol (in one of the pages on site stuff), i still feel that she is a good actress. but maybe because i had never started to like her frantically so our idol-fan relationship died on the spot without any further advancement. hahahah. yiling: hahaha ive been a silent reader of your blog. i usually read most blogs that ive linked to mine, so actually ive been reading a lot of blogs. i feel that blogs keep people indirectly in touch because the frequent updates will keep others informed of your life and your thoughts. so if next time people meet up they wont feel very distanced from each other. yay start of recess week. but got a lot of things to do. and im fully booked for the next weekend. hahahhaha. papa started driving the morning shift, so at least i get to see him everyday. =) sometimes i feel lazy to write episode summaries of drunken angels, because basically ah yong becomes bad and i hope song kuk leaves him asap. the show's focus is not on song kuk anyway so i feel sian. i bought some flora photos on yahoo a week ago, and the seller says the photos are already sent out on tuesday. but i havent received it yet!!!!! what if it gets lost? argh 10 flora photos gone like that. wasted my money.

11:24 p.m. today met up with yimyiu and we went to the nbs free access lab to print notes. saw yvonne and grace there too. ooooh its been so long since i saw von and she is still as humorous as before. hahahaha.
episode 14: meanwhile, ah long is saved by a fat girl and her fat mother in a very ulu place at the bottom of the cliff. the girl wants to marry ah long, and he tries means and ways to escape from her clutches but to no avail, because she cant be drunk, and he cant escape without being bitten by her ferocious vegetarian dogs. the villagers found a body, and the 3 mothers believed that the body belongs to ah long. they are devastated. everyone starts to suck up to ah yong since he is the 2nd young master, and the only male descendent of the fong family. wai ting and ah ying got into a disagreement because of ah long and ah yong. song kuk is again being accused by ah long's mother of helping ah yong and getting ah long killed. kwan bak reveals to song kuk about him teaching ah long skills and his real identity, as well as his suspicions of ah long and ah yong engaging in a battle, because he spots certain fingerprint marks on ah yong's neck that clearly belongs to ah long's drunken 8 immortals. kwan bak, song kuk and wai ting goes to the cliff. the incredible pig has sniffed that ah long was last around the cliff. song kuk realises that she can check if the body belongs to ah long, because ah long has a weak right leg that had a bone fracture. the body's leg doesnt have any fractures, and it proves that ah long isnt dead.

11:00 p.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY POPO! professor lee let us watch some mtvs during lecture. one really sad one is the mtv of kiss. i remember seeing part of the mtv coz the first time i got in contact with the song was when i worked at hyatt, and minqi had the ringtone. it was very nice. and so one day pohchoo sent me the mtv. but somehow i deleted it and didnt bother about it. until today. i wanted to cry after watching the last part of the mtv. although i dont understand the song coz it is in korean, but i still feel that it is a really nice song. santiago called my name during lecture and asked me and a few others to stay behind after lecture. but previously he announced that those people who failed their speeches had to stay back. and i passed. i felt, how to say, like upset coz he just scanned through the people and called my name. like announcing to everyone that i did badly for my speech. but i passed. i stress that i passed. okay fine, i stayed behind, and some fellow kept complaining that he did fine for his speech and felt unjustified that santiago gave him a negative remark. i wanted to go off and yet he had to blabber on about his situation. all santiago asked was whether i had any problems. so i said no. and yada yada. then some guy complained again. all i wanted to do was to leave but their complaints wasted my time. all the more i was upset. i was in such a bad mood that anyone who crossed my line never failed to be glared by me. people who stepped on my toes. people who pushed my bag when they walked past me. are they fat or blind? people who stared at me. people who were rude, like not bothering to say "excuse me" when they wanted to get off the bus. like as if i will know she's getting off the bus. it doesnt mean that she could get away with the basic courtesy just because she was listening to songs. and worse, she stared at me for not giving her the space on the crowded bus. when she didnt even say "excuse me". what the. i glared back and rolled my eyes at her. never make me annoyed when i am already very annoyed.
04 september 2005, sunday we could only eat at around 7pm. yongjie came home and was shocked to see so many people. actually, besides my grandparents, gujie, yanting and qianyu, i dont know any of the strangers outside in my living room. they are all papa's church friends and their families. their kids made so much noise that i wanted to chase them away. one thing that i dislike the most is that they kept boasting about themselves and/or their children indirectly. like whatever. who cares what school they go to and which country they migrate to and whatnots. and every single one asked me the same question over and over again, so much so to the extent that i wanted to hang a plank over my shoulders which read "i am in ntu communication studies year one, 19 years old and i am NOT some 12-year-old primary school kid taking PSLE this year". and, i dont go to any church. i go to the tai pei temple at jalan kemaman near whampoa. and any temple that i happen to pass by. personally i dont like the idea of people starting a conversation with the question "which church do you go to?" because i dont like it that people assume i am a christian. i am not pinpointing to the religion. i absolutely respect the religion and will not badmouth the religion. i am talking about the people who came to my house just now. but just in case people who read my blog get really sensitive about it, i shall stop talking about it.
11:07 p.m. housewarming. in the morning i swept the floor and arranged my room, and papa mopped the floor. so i kind of got rid of the ants. unfortunately, its only temporary. my relatives came one by one. my mother's side came first. i miss seeing all my aunties gossip together. kam seng gor came with his 9-month old son. ie. my nephew. he's called gerald and he's super cute!! jiawei and i were gushing about how cute he is. when he saw me whipping out my phone to take his photo, he got all interested in my phone and looked at my phone for me to take photos. hahaha. later, sanshu and beh deh and family came and we talked a lot and about everything. at first i thought housewarming is a very awkward thing, coz people come to your house and look, and then nothing else. i realised that it also serves as an event for gatherings. yah we should have more gatherings more often. the aunties promised that if they were to have gatherings, they will call me up to be their mahjong kaki. hahahah. papa doesnt like gambling in the house so we have to do it elsewhere. best place: irene-yeema's house. haahahhaa. return of the ants. help me get rid of the ants forever and i will pay you a million. remember, get rid of them forever. and it will take me... forever, to get a million bucks to pay you. heehee.
11:20 p.m. i am so pissed with myself. but before i go on about why i am so, i shall post the episodes summary first.

episode 10: okay. argh!!!!! number 1: the ever stupid and gullible me saw grace's msn nick, which said that particular website allows us to see who on our contact list has blocked us. so i went in and argh. the next moment, i saw someone appearing online. and that person is one of those mentioned in the website. so i got suspicious. and yongjie happened to pass by and said that it is a virus. A VIRUS! what the hell. i quickly asked grace and she confirmed it and told me to change my password. i got all frantic, but somehow i couldnt go into my mailbox. i was worried sick. so i quickly called sebastian and heng! at that moment when i talked to him, i got into my inbox. phew! then i changed my password but the .net passport of msn doesnt auto change by itself. so i cant sign in through the auto sign in. argh. the morale of the story: never, NEVER, let curiosity bite you. i am regretting it now. number 2: the 2nd most hated animal has appeared in my room. the ANTS!!!! omg i was so utterly shocked to see them. why in the world did they follow my boxes into my new house? im very pissed. i look down and i see an ant now. i cant wait to kill it. NOW. okay ive killed a bunch of, say, 15 ants. YUCKS. my hopes of having a non-ant environment is dashed. even my kitchen doesnt have ants. but my room??!?!?!?!? i dont eat in my room at all! grrrr..... i am so pissed. i am going to disinfect my whole room tomorrow. i am going to.... buy romance of venus vcds next week. yeah im finishing TGUIT. ive watched until episode 15. i left 7 more episodes. shall write a review after ive finished with the show. ........................ pissed. a pissed entry to start off the month of september.
