11:59 p.m. had no idea why i was so moody this morning. probably something pissed me off. like how the class people refused to stand in front. whats so scary about standing in front? its not as if some camera is filming you. anyway, i was a little quiet today coz i didnt feel like talking. i got slightly better as i did my math specimen paper. i guess some distractions can put me into a different mood ahah. got back a few papers. dont talk about it haiz. went to haagen dazs for ice cream with meg jaz and grace. delicious ice cream and fruits. but i still prefer fruits on its own without dipping into chocolate. somehow i think strawberries taste the best on their own hahaha. missed garfield, but i told yongjie to tape for me already. grace and i went to simei to return the eternal happiness dvd but they said we have to return the envelope as well. then we went to pohkim and grace bought a daniel show. the shopkeeper recognised me!!! she was transferred from the parkway branch to eastpoint branch. small world. then we went to tampines century square to buy tvb weekly and grace bought a quite expensive daniel magazine. and so grace's bag had quite a number of hk items ahahah. poh kim at century square has shifted to level 3. so now i have to change my weekly routine. hahaha. at century square, poh kim was having a sale! and grace couldnt find 3 daniel movies for $10 so in the end we didnt buy. hahahh. i watched the tape yongjie taped for me. it was showing hi-5. and so i forwarded for very long and i saw another spastic cartoon. and then it was vasantham news. where's my garfield? i checked i weekly, and garfield ended last week!! whywhywhy?? i love garfy. please continue to show garfy.. T__T
11:26 p.m. dont talk about my papers already. makes me so depressed. its time i do some reflection about the way i study. haiz.. went to shaw towers with adel jonny daryl minghui yos enoch wenguang and mayling. ate subway for the first time and it was yummy! ahahahh shaw towers is so ulu. adel jonny wenguang mayling daryl and i watched new police story with becky edwin and his class. *spoliers for NPS* i liked the part where jackie and nicholas escaped from the prison cell and the police just closed one eye to let them escape. that part was so funny! hmm the rest were okay. but was commenting a lot during the movie. haiz learnt from adel. we were commenting how fake the props were and stuffs like that. and were disgusted by the lousy dubbing. especially that of charlene. she sounded like she was "teh-ing" and i hate women who "tehs" to get attention. and miraculously, all the female police officers sounded as if they have the same voice. nicholas was a funny sidekick. somewhat similar to all other jackie chan sidekicks. daniel is a versatile actor. he can act as a baddy well too. the two things that i didnt like about the movie were: all the killings and the signs of impending danger. hahaha im a positive person. next was the silent scenes from jackie chan. a bit "leng chang" but i guess it fitted into the movie. the best thing about the movie, or so i thought, was the hong kong scenery. i was gushing about how magnificent the convention centre is.. hahahaha different people have different perspectives ahahah. one thing is for sure: the cantonese version will be a hundred times better than the mandarin dubbed version. hahaha. watched a few discs of man's best friend yesterday and today. as usual my faves are jessica, joe and the animals. and most fortunately, the animals dont include birds. hahahah. and after rewatching up till the 4th disc, i still think joe is one handsome and macho guy. why didnt i notice him earlier? he looks so handsome and suave in modern drama, with short hair and smiling.. ahahahah.
11:41 a.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY YONGJIE! yesterday had a fun 4J dinner. jesslyn and i went shopping before meeting the rest. met her cute boyfriend, daren. hhahahah. but he looks very shy. ahahah. we went to swensens coz jesslyn wanted to order a cake for daren. the workers there were so inefficient, and they appeared to be very busy when the customers there werent a lot of people. and they ignored us for a very long time. later the manager came and woa, the way he spoke was as if he was singing carelsss whispers. dots. we decided not to ever go to orchard swensens anymore. hahhaah. walked around heeren and met the rest of the people and went up to lemongrass. a total of 15+1 (kellyn came later) people came. and we talked and laughed and ate. weibiao as usual was the lame jokes supplier that night. everyone was quite happy to meet up with people whom they have not seen for ages. ahahhaaha. before i left to meet jesslyn, i was burning my cd but had a hard time deciding which songs to put inside coz i have too many songs. grace sent me the new police story video. but it is quite wasteful to burn one video into a vcd coz still got a lot of space. haiz. oh my photos are out. surprisingly they came out to be quite clear, and im quite happy with them hahahah. after i came home, i fell asleep on my bed with the lights on. and my hair still tied up. and i didnt brush my teeth. papa came home at 4 plus wondering why the lights were still on. hahaha.
12:55 a.m. watched Timeless Gift just now. hated all the family rivalry stuff. but what attracts me is little joe joe!! and of course chris ahahha. kyle chen acts as joe joe in the show, and he's absolutely adorable!! he's the second boy that i liked in tv dramas, first one being jason(jarren) in Always on my Mind. but now i think kyle is cuter coz jarren is plumper ahahha. okay both equally cute ahahahah. and with the help of this wonderful website, i found so many of my favourite songs. ahhaahaha.
06:30 p.m. went to parkway kbox today with megan jazreel minghui and ken ng. we ordered the k lunch and sang for 3 hours for $9. we sang a lot of songs, and i saw sui yue ru ge's mtv!! the one with TITS people, especially flora and joe!!! ahhhh!! hahahaha sang a lot of sammi and flora's songs. and the family man video was superb! but i realised i cannot sing william's part properly, coz his voice is especially weird that i cannot switch properly from flora to william. and hacken lee's voice is super low that i have to on his voice to follow the tune. oooh i love his "dong nuan xia liang" its super nice! and we had a lot of fun there, singing and dancing around, especially during jazreel's zhui meng, we laughed until cannot stop. and her bo si mao dance.. hahahah. tomorrow im going for 4J reunion dinner. its going to be a blast. hahahhaa.
11:44 p.m. went to the airport with grace to fetch daniel wu. we were there at about 1045 and we saw eileen and her friends. but charlene choi didnt come, as they heard from the bodyguards, and of course eileen was disappointed. the barriers were set up, and we could only stand outside the barriers. there werent a lot of fans coz probably they had work and school. we fooled around a while playing as reporters with grace's camera ahhaha.. and then at 1127 the plane SQ107 arrived from kuala lumpur. and so we waited anxiously and about 30 minutes later, jackie chan and daniel came out with lots of beefy bodyguards surrounding them. we called out to daniel and he waved back to us. they brisked out of the exit and entered a chartered minivan and i was busy snapping photos of daniel when beefy man blocked me. his arm muscles were as large as my thighs!! and so when i finally got rid of beefy's struggles to keep me away, i got a close up shot of daniel. but dont know if the shot is good or not coz there might be reflection from the window. and so jackie and daniel whizzed off to their 6 star hotel and all that frenzy ended within around 1 minute. so much for idol chasing.. hahahah. grace filmed the process with her trusty videocam and we were viewing it on the train. then this a-sa fan called christen came up to us and we chatted. she came all the way from nus playing truant and in the end she didnt get to see her at all coz she was sick and couldnt come to singapore. sad.. met up with adel to go ice skating. 6 boys and 6 girls came altogether. okay this is counted as a successful class outing. been ages since a successful one has occured. hahaha. today there was a discount at $8.40 per person if we entered and exited by groups of threes. and so 12 people was enough hahaha. we skated around and fell around, having loads of fun and laughter, falling into puddles of water and falling as a group, skating around, seeing people from not knowing how to skate to knowing how to, and feeling the sense of achievement to be able to skate from them. a great applause to grace, daryl, mayling and shah, coz they were great at learning and they can skate now!! yay! saw some cute caucasian boys skating too.. after ice skating as usual we went into our formation of our "circle of trust" to decide what to do next. first they decided to watch movie, then changed to play lan, then because of the unreasonable shopkeeper, we changed to kbox, but it was until 9pm. kpool was out too coz it was too expensive. and so they went back to lan and grace, mayling and i went off first. grace and i reached lido at 1815. the twins fanclub were apparently there, not knowing that a-sa didnt come. we found the fannatic fann club, and once i told them i am from the club too, they allowed us to stay at their area. so nice.. ahahahah. and we got ourselves into a strategic position. this guy called dan came along and he recognised me as a jace fan, he himself is a fann-jace-chris fan. and so he stood near us while waiting. then at around 1915 the hosts liyi and zhiyong came and played games giving out posters and t shirts. they crapped rubbish for a very long time to stall for time coz the stars were late. the stars were to come to the area by car and walk out onto the red carpet up the stage for some interview by the hosts. luckily we were near the front of the walk. after loads of rubbish by both hosts, the first car arrived at 1950. by that time we were all tired from standing, especially grace and i coz we just finished ice skating. the first 2 cars had minor mediacorp artistes inside, and they just brushed off towards the stage. but at least fiona xie shook my hand. ahahah she's nice and she said "ni hao" to me.. then 10 minutes later, another car came and jace and pan lingling were inside. since dan and i were the only 2 jace fans there (jace fans are always like that, shy and reserved and they dont scream for jace. and when they ask us to go down to support, they themselves dont appear at all), we screamed out lungs out for jace. and she heard us and smiled to us and shook hands with us.. jace looked classy and pretty in her dress but lingling looked like an expectant mother in her mickey mouse dress. then another 5 minutes later, fann appeared. she shook everyone's hands and was all pretty and cute, smiling all the way. fannatic fann club including me were screaming away "WENFANG!!" and her dress was very sexy too. she shook our hands and she went up on stage for the interview. only the small fries had their interview below the stage. jace, lingling, fann, daniel and jackie, the big shots, had theirs on stage aghahaha. then after her interview, fann went downstage to pose for cameras, but i was too far away. then after fann left, daniel wu came around 5 minutes later. grace got all excited and we screamed for daniel. but some icky reporters had to stop him halfway for some interview. anyway after that he went on to shake our hands and that was so memorable!! ahahahah. the organisers prepared a cake to pre-celebrate his birthday and he was surprised and happy. then finally jackie chan came and he was shaking the hands of people in front and this person dropped the handphone and jackie was nice to pick it up for that person. he went on to sign one fan's giant poster and had the stupid interview (the same one that daniel had). after that, since he didnt have time to shake each and every one's hands, he instead gave everyone a quick high five by clapping onto everyone's hands quickly. that was really fun coz he was like playing with everyone. i kind of admired his foresight and ambition, that is to combine all asian movies to fight against the other movies, instead of us asians fighting against each other. he is very passionate about movies and he has no airs at all. very professional and yet fun-loving and amiable. thats what a big brother should be hahahah. after that he went on to sign a car that he drove in the movie and everyone ran to see him. and there he was, still giving everyone down the queue a high five each and everyone was snatching to get one from him. from this we can see that he's such a fun person and he's definitely not a stuck up person and all the more i respect him as a big brother in the movie industry. after all that hassle, grace and i were dead beat and everywhere was aching. we rewatched the video on the train and it was quite embarrasing to hear my screams so many times. and it was so loud coz i was near the videocam hahaha. forgot to buy newspapers. never mind. yongjie railed at me just because i asked him what channel 5 was showing. then later while i was talking to gu jie, he shouted from his room to my papa's room where i was to keep quiet. and so i switched off the tv and lowered my volume but he insisted on closing the door and when i didnt budge, he came and slammed the door. gu jie heard all the commotion and i started to complain to her. anyway she knew what yongjie was like already, so complaining to her made no difference, it just let me pour out all my thoughts to her. and then after the call, i came out to see him washing the dishes. and i was thinking, maybe he overheard us through the speaker phone, thats why he initiated to wash HIS own dishes. anyway, it doesnt matter to me. all i know that all these years i was being scolded a bitch and unreasonable and many other foul languages but i kept quiet. all because i didnt want to start a never-ending quarrel. telling papa was of no use, yongjie would scold him too. anyway, just pouring out what i feel now. after all he's my brother and i hope he can change for the better. but he can hate me or whatever. i dont really mind. coz im used to it. now im feeling what belle felt when vincent died. upset, miserable, and full of tears. i love triumph in the skies.

02:28 p.m. read today's i weekly, that daniel wu is going to the gala along with fann and jace, so i immediately messaged grace to tell her the news. and now we plan to go to the airport to fetch them- daniel wu, jackie chan and charlene choi. but we expect a lot of people to be there. then after that we will go to class outing, at night we go to the new police story movie premiere to see fann, jace and the three of them. dunno the leftover film in my camera is enough or not.. hahhaha. should i burn a handful of love? was thinking of burning coz i have to wait for a long time before the show comes out on vcd. okay ive decided, to burn it after A levels. gahahahah. planned to go jogging this morning but all was destroyed when i couldnt get up in the morning. hahahha.
10:50 p.m. one month to Like My Own! end of prelims. time for a rest! hahahah actually ive been resting a lot hahahahha. at first we were thinking of going out after the paper but since nobody came to a conclusion whether to go or not to go, so in the end we went on separate ways. went to eastpoint to rent eternal happiness for adel, but they only had the dvd but adel doesnt have a dvd player. anyway i rented it for her and then i went downstairs to ts laser and lingered there for a while looking at the tvb dramas. that is the only place i know of so far to have the full set of OTB and ROH. good coz im buying them hahhah. ts is also selling japanese dramas. a long time ago, jap dramas were hotcakes. then fuji tv decided not to produce their dramas into vcds and stopped the sales of the vcds. now its back!! and i want to buy anchorwoman! that is the only jap drama im so crazy about. i remembered a period of time when this drama was shown on channel 8, my brother and i loved watching it. and there was another show, cant remember the name of it, starring 3 guys and a boy. the 3 guys name themselves 3 peace. and the cute boy is called akira. and GA2 is another superb and funny jap drama. but i dont want to buy GA2 coz i still can watch it and its very long. hahahahha on to my story. after ts laser, i went to poh kim and guess what?? one gigantic poster of healing hands 2 was flashing right in front of me!! and i was so elated that i dashed in to the shop. luckily the salesgirl ignored me. i was scrutinizing the vcd, only got 2 boxes available. total should have 4 boxes since there are 40 episodes. i had the urge to buy it coz the cover looked nice. but then i taped the show already. and the parts i taped only consist of flora. was thingking if i should buy the vcds. plus other shows which ive already taped. the cantonese version looks so tempting. but i dont want other people's part especially since flora appeared in HH2 up till episode 26. and she went away after that and reappeared at the last episode. maybe i should rent the last episode only coz the last episode scene might be done by flora. the singapore version had a stunt double taking her scenes. haiz.. adel didnt want to wait 2 weeks for the cheaper price PDA so she wanted to go sim lim square to buy. and so i strolled around tampines to kill time. one lady came up to me and asked me where i bought my bag from. and i told her frankly that the bag was bought from hong kong. and she asked how much and i wasnt sure coz it was bought for me by my aunt. and she said she wanted to buy that bag for her daughter. i just smiled at her. then i was thinking: why did she, out of nowhere, come up to me and ask me about my bag? so weird. either she really wanted to enquire about my bag, or she mistook me for someone she know and she just anyhow found an excuse so that she wouldnt be so paiseh. hahahhaha. i saw eileen and zongxiang and their friends at bk. then i showed eileen the tvb weekly i had with me and she was so excited. hahahahah. and then i went for solo lunch and waited for adel while window shopping. went to bugis and strolled again coz adel was late. and this guy was asking me for donations right at the entrance of kinokuniya. he was blabbering and asked for $10. and so i stammered and replied that it wasnt convenient on my part and he finally let me off. adel and i went to sim lim square after a hard time identifying the way to reach there. after comparing prices, adel settled on a shop and we were testing the PDA. and i was amazed by how the pen works coz the old models can only recognise standard handwritings. while i was so amazed like a country pumpkin, adel and the shopkeeper laughed at me for being so suaku. the shopkeeper is very friendly and funny. i was happily playing with the display PDA while they were talking terms. and without knowing, adel had already bought the PDA. hahahhah. we left sim lim and went to the fu lu shou building coz adel wanted to place bets at singapore pools. we walked past a tvb rental store there and they were showing Shine on You. think tao dayu and kenix make a good pair hahaha. and so i decided, if i cant find a job, i shall go work in a tvb rental store, so that i can watch the latest tvb dramas anytime and in cantonese. somemore dont need money ahhahahah. watched TTTB last episode, expected it to be a happy ending. the part where the whole family "pakat" to sabotage junjie was funny. and oooh watching them play mahjong makes me xin yang yang.. and the part where yuwan and chuanfeng got married was so nice. i bet terence cao himself was shy thats why when they all asked him to kiss jace, he hesitated for a very long time and appeared to be very shy. oh yah, but i really hate the way terence cao speaks. he sounds like he's acting cool. eek. anyway jace looks stunning in wedding gown. and the babies are super adorable! but the plot for the ending like a bit rushed leh, the ending of episode 19 was when the babies were just born, and the beginning of episode 20, the babies are already one month old!! and yuwan and chuanfeng's honeymoon was so fast that in a flash you see them back in singapore from dont-know-where. funniest person in the show is granduncle, he's so blur and forgetful that it makes him adorable. but i dont understand, he is junjie's granduncle, but why the whole of yujia's batch call him granduncle too? shouldnt they call him uncle? hahaha never mind la. u weekly has an interview of joe. the picture wasnt that nice. and there are so many typo errors in the interview. anyway, i like the interview and its such a great thing to have our birthdays one day apart. hahahahha. i shall call him tak tak. hhaha.
monday, 20 september 2004 the episode of burning flame 2 today was one of the funniest episodes in the show. the way the bunch of firemen acted to teach jide to chase yinyi was super funny. and the part where nanfeng was choosing a name for his future baby whom he thinks will be a boy. silly names like cai neng chi (can eat), cai neng shui (can sleep), cai cai zi, cai sishala (caesar salad), blah blah.. and cai zijian (which is xiaoxian's real name).. hahahahah and yaoyao is super cute! but i think jide and yinyi dont quite match. wong hei and jessica look better together ahhahaha. ahem, but i still have to say this: i hate yoyo mung.

01:53 p.m. watched garfield and friends cartoon yesterday. i shall watch it every weekday hahahha. was super funny, especially when garfield said his top ten most hated food: to think minghui actually watched cartoons too.. ahahaha we were discussing cartoons at bk today. adel, jonny, minghui, yos, enoch and i went to bk for lunchy after physics and we were lazing around chattering about singapore idol to cartoons to the terminal to what-have-you. and dear laozhao, dont be upset. at least you have me. hahahahahahah.
05:57 p.m. yesterday night, while watching the ever-fantastic-fabulous last episode of family man, a small fire broke out at the construction area on the open field in front of my block. i dont know how it happened, but there were other people there burning incense but they didnt seem to care. the smoke drifting into the living room window was increasingly thick. so i waited and hoped the fire would cease by itself. but it got bigger. and so after about half an hour of waiting, i called 995, and the person on the other line said "my men are already there." huh? i didnt see any firemen appearing at the scene at all.. and then 4 firemen came, slowly taking their own sweet time to investigate. they used some wooden sticks to put out the fire instead of extinguishers. i was thinking, is that how singaporean firemen work? if it was a big fire, with such an attitude, everyone at the scene would have been badly burnt. yesterday after watching family man, i was still eating my dinner, whats new hahahaha. so i decided to find some show to watch. a few days ago i watched A Matter of Customs and Game of Deceit. and weeks ago i watched Witness to a Prosecution. all jessica shows. so i headed for a change to flora shows. my instincts told me to take out A Case of Misadventure. and so i did. and i was wondering to myself, how come this show, filmed before family man, hasnt even been shown on channel u yet? and 2 hours later, my question was answered by a certain advertisement on channel u in between burning flame 2. and so they are showing ACOM after WTAP2. i vividly remembered buying the vcd and bringing it to my class chalet to watch the next day. and everyone wanted to watch the chinese version and so i was stuck with the disgusting voiceovers. and then everyone was bored watching the first few episodes coz it was mostly about hei goon (william so) and yong yong (wong lam) and they didnt like william so. hahahahh. so now interested people will come to me to borrow the vcds. and soon i can get my family man back. hahahahha. ah foon (flora) in ACOM reminds me of bo yin in UE whenever she was examining a dead body for the useless hei goon. a few days ago, i went online to help adel search for eternal happiness lyrics, and instead i found the kiddy songs that tracy and kelvin and colleagues sang in FM. they were sung by kelly chen. and the lyrics sounded kiddy. hahahaha. every week i will go to century square to buy tvb weekly and check out the newest vcds. then i figured that since TITS was shown in hk in 2003, it will probably be shown on SCV VV drama in november or december. then the vcds will be out in 2005. hahahhahah. sad. maybe they should produce more vcds that were shown between 1998 and 2001. coz to date the newest hard box vcds is DIF4. like how long ago. hahahah.
11:08 p.m. watched garfield with adel today. quite cute. hahaha. but the theatre was full of kids who laughed over the slightest wobble of garfield's fats. haiz.. after that we went to study at burger king and then adel had to leave and we went to shop for adel's clothes. she took sooo long to choose and in the end she was late. hahhahah. saw the yeemui shirt. wanted to buy, but then the cutting a bit too low, somewhat like sammui's one. so i didnt buy. anyway it cost 90 bucks. haiz.. adel spotted a handbag that she liked in esprit but it comes free with $68 purchase of red earth cosmetics. and she really wanted it so we spent quitew some time choosing and hahahah she got the bag with a total of $80 spent. and i got a free nail polish courtesy of adel. ahahahhah.
12:24 p.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY POPO!
this i have to write. today's dream: to think i can still remember the details. the most horrifying part was the birds i think i practically screamed when i was sleeping. hhahahah. yesterday i had another 1-hour long phone call with yimyiu. complaining about how we can never finish studying and about tv serials and about our yucky ct tutors. (yang leng and pat leong). oooh and i bought eat! magazine with flora on the cover. besides the interview, the whole magazine is about food. so yummy. she looks so pretty in the magazine!! yesterday gu jie came to my house and she was watching WTAP2 and then i told her that WTAP1 was better. and so after the show i dug out my WTAP tapes and watched it. and she laughed at what appeared in the tape. coz she was wondering whether i can understand the show just by taping all the jessica and mariane parts only.. and so after she went home, yongjie and i watched 2 tapes at one go until 1am. and so the conclusion was WTAP1 was better. ahahahhahaha. tang si-song ci-nie feng. bwhahahahaahah. starting 21 october 2004, every thursday 9pm, channel 5: Like My Own. starring hong kong superstar cum my dearest idol-flora chan wai san. and a few others ahahahhaa. the professional american slang into action. hope she will come to singapore to promote it. then i can see her again..
