11:21 p.m. sailo made me cab down to his school to pass him something that he needed urgently but had forgotten to bring out of the house. grrr. when i could enjoy rewatching happy ever after instead. was pretty impressed with gayle goh, one of the guests for the forum. she spoke with confidence, eloquence, was quick in processing and organising her thoughts into perfect sentences, and what came out from her were poise and in-depth knowlegde that i never knew an 18-year-old was capable of saying in front of an audience. and that sentence above was so long because i was trying to sound cheem. the 2007 tvb calendar pictures are out! meiheng is in may! her birth month! her picture also has steven ma and roger kwok! she looks pretty and elegant despite her casual wear! notice ive been using exclamation marks, because im happy that meiheng isnt squeezing with the rest of the people in january or february. and may's picture looks refreshing with three adorable golden retrievers. what a happy and sunny picture! =D the december picture looks nice too, with everyone in it looking so glamorous and happy. poor june picture looks hideous. and the makeups on some actresses are really horrible. i can barely recognise sheren tang in september! and jasmine couldnt spot jessica in february! dont know why but ive been feeling very sleepy around 5-6pm. tomorrow will be a whole day of editing in the studio.
10:17 p.m. today did quite a lot of housework. and spent more than an hour viewing the forensic e-learning lectures. im such a coward; i cant do anything forensic after 7pm. i will start imagining things. saturday, 28 october 2006 went back to school for the forum rehearsal. hmmm shall not say anything about it. watched zhou ri ba dian dang, and eVonne's little sister was on the show. haha i think eVonne is prettier. mrs zullikhan's son is very cute! =D friday, 27 october 2006 i received needing you cantonese version vcds! and we managed to save 221 assignment 3 into mp4 format to keep.
11:24 p.m. after 201, we went to film 202 assignment 3. we went to some obscure corner behind LT1A, and filmed from 12-6pm! thats freaking 6 hours! and the end product will only be ONE minute! oh gosh im definitely not going to eat mcdonalds for at least the next two weeks. im getting frantic. my needing you hasnt arrived, and im terrified that it might get lost in the mail.
11:26 p.m. papa flew off to shanghai this morning. i kind of miss his presence at home. did some stuffs, like watching the e-learning lectures and reading 201. rewatched hh3 during meals. haha im almost finishing all of mi's movies, so its back to pretty meiheng. my needing you cantonese version is on the way, hopefully arriving either tomorrow or friday. so far my schoolwork is quite on pace, except that to finish one chapter of 201 takes a million years. actually i have nothing eventful to type, but i just feel like filling up the space. i love listening to mi's wan zheng. the lyrics are beautifully written and the tune is melodious. it is such a coincidence that my favourite ladies first and wan zheng's composer is the same person. haha.
11:43 p.m. today papa brought yongjie and i out for dinner, to crystal jade at causeway point. service was not very good, but food was yummilicious! but i think papa's breakfast today was nicer. =) my father's going to shanghai tomorrow. so is jasmine! but they are taking different flights, supposedly same timing. and he's coming back either on monday or wednesday. so im the head of the house for the next week. stressed. will miss his nagging in the week. ive changed my tagboard! =) and TITS is going to be shown on channel u 7th november at 10pm! even though ive got the vcds and can memorise every detail of it, i still anticipate it to be on FTA tv (FTA = free-to-air), despite having absolute hatred to the horrendous mandarin dubbing. monday, 23 october 2006 went to school for only one tutorial. yunxin and i had a hard time trying to save our assignments from sanmp to the dvd-rw. in the end we gave up and will try again on wednesday. received the lucky guy vcd! a typical stephen chow movie, plot isnt very in-depth, quite predictable, but is a good movie for laughs. sammi and the rest sort of appeared like supporting casts. received my 3 sammi cds too! yippie. sunday, 22 october 2006 went to visit my grandparents. yeye is so cute when he says he doesnt have mosquito bites because the mosquitoes are afraid of him. =) i did some bathroom shopping too.
11:13 p.m. today went out with gujie to shop around. i wanted to buy ITA but i guess i have to wait till after the exams. i wanted to buy a few mi albums but i might want to browse through the auctions first. i eventually bought a pair of shoes and a cute hand wash foam. was watching the movie on channel 8, with chilam, karen mok and daniel chan, called 飞虎雄心2之傲气比天高. it is a nice movie. there was a point where i spotted a super familiar person in it-- dr. chan!! hahahah. i miss mariane's shows. she acted as a vietnamese refugee. she had a stubborn look in the last scene, and it made me miss her acting more! ivan sent an email, saying he got the e-learning week dates wrong. haiz he made all of us believe that e-learning was next week. friday, 20 october 2006 finally! we finished 221 assignment 3. millie's comments were pretty good. im just glad the projects for 221 are over. thursday, 19 october 2006 stayed till about 1130pm editing assignment 3, while yunxin and khaiyan stayed till 3am. there were so many people in the lab, all rushing to finish. maybel's group helped us buy macdonalds, and so almost everyone in the lab were having picnics while frantically rushing. i should have taken a photo of all the mac stuffs in the lab when we actually werent supposed to eat in there. wednesday, 18 october 2006 after forensic lecture, i went to mmlab to edit, and yanting came along while waiting for yimyiu and tracey. saw linzhi and she said there was a small fire at cs. tuesday, 17 october 2006 we watched aladdin during 202 lecture. i just love the cartoons during my childhood times. i was laughing so hard that shilvia, who was sitting in front of me, kept turning around to laugh at me instead. my favourite part of the movie was when the genie said "i feel sheepish" and he turned into a sheep. i guess when we were young we couldnt really understand the puns, and we only laughed because the genie and abu are funny-looking. i totally love that sentence. it reminded me of an incident in primary six. my friends and i were playing with the palm reading machine thingy, and my friend's card stated that she was a stereotyped person. she asked me what "stereotyped" meant, and i told her without thinking, "it means that you look like a stereo." i guess that was when my lameness started. i can just imagine the silly genie becoming a stereo.
11:12 p.m. there was no 222 tutorial today. so i got to wake up a bit later. but i woke up around the same time to watch mi's interview with dodo. now youtube's my favourite website. =D its the start of the 221 mad rush. five more days to the deadline and everyone is rushing to get assignment 3 done. after lecture, we cabbed down to jurong east library to interview uncle yap, find microfilms, and finally getting our late lunch before cabbing back to school. there was just too many things to do within that two hours. and i found time to peek into poh kim. to my absolute delight, into thin air is out!!! i've waited for a whole year for the vcds. i wanted to purchase it immediately, but since we had to cab back it meant that there was no time. i'd probably be able to buy it after assignment 3 is completed, ie. hopefully by this friday. yays then i will be a happy girl. =) so now all the 2005 meiheng shows are available for purchase. which means i have to wait till next year april for LFD! stayed in mmlab after tutorial to do the voiceovers and filming. and i guess we have to make do with mark's halo since he didnt reply to my email. met weixin on the bus while going home, and we caught up on each other's hectic lives. im so tempted for online mi therapy. i might be doing some major revamps to my blog soon. meanwhile, do remember your comments if any, and you can post them after ive changed my board.
11:31 p.m. today went to the library with the intention to find microfilms for articles, but i didnt have the exact dates and my account had no more money. so i went to look at novels and i found feminine masculinity book. heh. and found infernal affairs but it looked quite confusing. bought everlasting regret. ive read reviews that some people didnt understand the movie, but i understood it perfectly well. maybe because i bought the uncut version. like what mi said, the movie was a breakthrough because the character was totally different from her previous characters. and from the movie title, one can possibly guess the ending of the movie. mi's mandarin was quite alright as well. taped infernal affairs which was on channel u. i recalled watching it in the cinema with 3 other friends (sorry i cant remember with who) and the theatre was empty except 4 other people. it was one cool movie. i feel like buying all of mi's albums. and mi has the funniest english! "dog dog team", "sick told low ma"... =D saturday, 14 october 2006 went out the whole afternoon for filming. met with several obstacles regarding the script. friday, 13 october 2006 interviewed 3 people after school. super taxing. yongjie and i rewatched my left eye sees ghost, which is one of the most touching movies ive seen. thursday, 12 october 2006 reached home from school at 12pm. with such a gift, it was almost certain that i would not much of a weekend. wednesday, 11 october 2006 nothing interesting.
02:06 p.m. today havent had much time to blog these days. sickening 221 assignment 3 is due next week. i figured that i will be spending most of the days next week in mmlab. too busy that i didnt have time to print my notes. thank goodness there's e-learning week 2 weeks later. was updating myself with the usual daily tvb stuffs. the anniversary list is out, and i feel that its frigging unfair. shall not say the reason here. but since when was tvb fair in the first place? biased as it is, i can imagine who will win what for this year, or should i say, every single year's anniversary. sorry if it sounds extremely vague to you, but freedom of expression is clearly restricted here because i will obviously be hurting other people's feelings if i write what i want. then again, some people may say that since this is MY blog, i have the right to say what i feel. my apologies, but this right has never seem to be unobstructed, and even more it has never seem to belong to me. once bitten twice shy. blogs are never personal, unless there is a password or you are using livejournal. im rattling on about this because i cant do anything about it. monday, 9 october 2006 had 222 facilitation which was quite alright. did i mention that millie currently tops my hate list? okay yes she's the tops now. my group totally dislikes her. and now i cant stand the journalism part of BJ. 202 assignment 2 presentation was okay. after that i went music junction to buy my left eye sees ghost dvd. i couldnt wait for the seller to find his copy. eVonne's newest album is out! ive been spending too much money, and i havent received my allowance for the past 2 weeks. good times, bed times arrived too! i downloaded the mandarin version a few days ago, and when i compared it with the wonderful cantonese original, the mandarin version was heavily censored, that i couldnt understand some parts because there was no link. thankfully i bought the hk version. heh. sunday, 8 october 2006 stayed home to complete 202 assignment 2. i spent 4 hours searching for pictures, and yet when i showed it to joanna, tu and my brother, they couldnt understand the meaning. so i made another one within half an hour. if i'd known, i wouldnt waste my 4 hours on the first version. saturday, 7 october 2006 the postman arrived at my door at 12pm, bringing good news: love for all seasons arrived! i got down to watching it straightaway, totally forgetting that i had to meet yimyiu at 2pm. yimyiu, kiaying and i went to buy presents for huiyi. we got her a bag from a shop in marina square (cant remember what name), and a necklace from diva that fitted huiyi's tribal image, said yimyiu. we shopped around after finishing our mission, and i was thinking of buying a pair of earrings, but kiaying said it was too long. huiyi, cuilin, michelle and grace arrived later, and we went to a japanese restaurant (cant remember what name too). it was a nice gathering. it was fun talking about so many stuffs and taking so many photos. =) i was a happy girl, simply because i finally found something! remember the entry i wrote on 30 september 2005 ? the day i met sammi! and i mentioned about dropping a bracelet at the airport. hohoho i saw the exact same one at diva! and it was the last piece! hahah i bought it immediately. yays. psi was a horrible 150. it should either go down to a healthy range, or it hits about 200 so everyone need not go to school. friday, 6 october 2006 221 assignment 2 presentation. was quite upset over it. thursday, 5 october 2006 had an early interview with alfred choi. after 201 lecture, it was off to mmlab for editing again. i always end up staying in school for projects even though i only have a 2-hour lecture for the whole day. ended up leaving school at 8pm.
11:56 p.m. today the forensic science midterms was a hoax. i mean, everyone was seated so closely, and it was obvious that people could talk to each other. therefore the midterms was a hoax in a sense that it was a blatant group discussion. but even without discussion, the paper was generally quite chicken-feed. heh. a lot of people left during the guest speaker's part. i was listening to sammi and stoning and stoning. collected the camera for tomorrow. carrying the $5,000 camera plus the tripod plus the earphones can easily break my shoulder. yimyiu made a pair of earrings for me and tracey. =) yay i finished my movie analysis.
tuesday, 3 october 2006 after lecture, khaiyan and i went to smu to film shots of smu and debbie. after reaching, we set up the stuffs, and to our horror, the condenser didnt have a wire. i asked khaiyan, "did you bring the tape?" and there came our horror number two. so we bought a new tape and started. upon finishing, we kept our stuffs and horror number three almost appeared when we couldnt find the tripod casing. we came back to sci, and interviewed mark cenite! he is absolutely handsome. =D after 202 lecture it was back to editing. i received my left eye sees ghost vcds. in an attempt to pull both discs apart since they were stuck, i accidentally broke disc 2. so i only watched disc 1. thus im discussing with the seller about lending me his copy. monday, 2 october 2006 nothing interesting. a pointless entry. sunday, 1 october 2006
HAPPY BIRTHDAY YUNXIN! wemt to gym with yimyiu. dont know whether it was because of the aircon and few people, we didnt sweat at all! the nice aircon made us so sleepy and lazy. we went to plaza singapura for late lunch. while we were on the escalator, we looked down and noticed a familiar face among the booths. MOLLIE! when we were at the foodcourt, he messaged me to save him from the prudential people, coz he was stuck at their booth doing crappy surveys because he was too obliging. hahaha he never change much. and we didnt too, coz we have been calling him mollie for so many years. heh. yimyiu and i headed to daiso, the wonderful store with everything costing $2. oooh it looked like a japanese supermart. i like their tins!! anyway they have this moneybox tin that is super cute, but we realised it doesnt have a opening to retrieve the money, so it means we have to smash it to get the money out. which equates to wasting money to buy a tin to smash. the other customers also had the same question in their heads, and it was so funny to hear so many people asking the same question to each other. after staying in the store for about 45 mins, and after picking so many nice things out, we eventually left with a minimal amount of items: yimyiu got a file, and i bought a drink glass and batteries. it was fun to shop around there! we walked past veeko, and i kept telling yimyiu i wanted a veeko bag. and she kept pouring cold water that i need to spend a bomb before i can get a veeko bag. =(
