supposed to shop yesterday, but was too lazy to step out of the house.
plus i was chasing DIF2 so quite hard to stop halfway.
went shopping at suntec and marina square for stuffs needed for the trip.
passed joanna the LG discs and lamented that i was bored.
spent so much money on things that i probably will not need to use in singapore.
wiki-ed for some information on my trip to nanjing/ suzhou/ hangzhou/ shanghai.
hopefully can visit some nice places.
then i wiki-ed about mahjong and its scoring systems.
the scoring systems and methods of play vary in different countries.
haha quite interesting to know the different points in singapore and hk.
apparently the singapore scoring version is written more in-depth than the hk version.
i know some differences in the american and taiwanese versions, but didnt read them coz it would make me more confused.
and almost all the pictures used in the main mahjong page and scores pages are from 呖咕呖咕新年财.
itching to play mahjong.
i went on to wiki about fish.
coz i wanted to see if there is something wrong with my two other fish.
they are simply not eating.
so i found out that the other two fish are the discus type, and it stated that:
"discus are often extremely cautious about new foods; it is not unusual for them to go for weeks without food before accepting a new type of food. after starving for a month discus will almost always accept a new food."
also:
"do not keep with fast fish as the discus is a slow eater and will not fight for food."
obviously the fat cute goldfish has been eating all the food.
high time to separate them.
maybe can buy some flakes for the discus.
the pictures of the discus are ugly, i said. the two in my tank are so much prettier, in bright orange.
but wiki did not have pictures of my goldfish. the other goldfish pictures are very ugly, said sailo.
so i dont know what kind of goldfish my goldfish is.
except being fat and cute and greedy and sometimes annoying to the discus.
i will miss my family, friends, bed, tv, computer, and the fish during my china trip.
would probably have tons of news to catch up on after my return.
hopefully 王子公主 story will hit the 50th page by then.
havent watched a single disc of DIF2 today. =(

and i cried like nothing when gigi died.
am feeling damn lazy to go back to school to export the EIC interview.
am just stoning in front of the computer after all the wiki search.

on saturday, our video group went for japanese lunch.
super yummy.
had a scenery-phototaking session at a stairway in square two.
went back to school to watch adm's film screenings.
quite okay la; some were quite good but some made no sense.
and so i didnt know what i was doing online but i slept at 4am.
resulted to being late in meeting gujie on sunday.
we went for the briefing at chan brothers.
and then to my grandparents' house.
and then continued with DIF2.
currently im only watching DIF2 and nothing else.
then today...
was feeling lazy.
went to shop for my trip but only bought things like plasters and insect repellent and wet tissues.
rahhh. was deliberating too much on my winter clothes.
shall go again tomorrow.
oh and i finally bought a book.
i bought my undo book!!!
kino finally restocked the whole dori collection.
heh heh now i have four more books to buy.

i would have five books and five tshirts from you all.

first day of holidays.
must make full use of the week to enjoy.
coz after i come back from shanghai, i dont think i have much time to enjoy before i start internship at mediacorp.
chionged nine episodes of DIF2.
ivy enters the story only in box 2, so i havent watched Mi's appearance yet.
bought the hk puzzle!
wanted to buy another puzzle but not that interested to buy it yet.
yay papa'll be back from cebu tomorrow. =)

after exams, after feasting, its finally time to have some proper sleep.

Mi's cable interviews are nice!
but i think no.6's questions are quite superficial.
i want to buy a DSLR.
but i have no money.
plus im not sure if i can sustain a DSLR well.
if that cant work, i want a tape converter.
so that i can convert my tapes into vcd/dvd at home and no need to travel to school to window dub.
then again, no money to buy the converter.
runny nose.
a sign to an impending flu.
今晚目睹两段血浓于水的母女情。
司棋姐得奖，实至名归。
女儿突然上台献花。
我想，她女儿的支持，如此重要。
之前已经了解司棋姐的人生经历，多么地波折重重。
相信她能坚强应付，亲情是最大的推动力。
肥姐现身，全场起立。
惊叹她已瘦了好几圈。
有点难过。
之后听到她的声音没有往日那么宏亮，笑声也明显有点吃力。
但是肥姐微弱的声音中说出的信念，非常坚定。
这一幕，使我落泪。
然后欣宜唱了首歌给肥姐听。
同时，荧幕上播出她们的合影，从欣宜出世时到现在。
感动。
犹然记得曾经看过欣宜在肥姐的演唱会中唱过《真的爱你》。
我觉得那首Beyond的歌非常感人。
我很喜欢。
今年tvb颁奖典礼还算不错，比起前几年，这次的主要结果我
挺满意。
尤其阿Mo得奖，非常开心。
不过我比较开心的是能看到过去的片断。
当中看到flora，阿妙同靓妈，还有那个年代的小生花旦。
我知道，这是cheap thrill。
最尽在不言中的一幕，一定是海味（周海媚）出来颁最佳男主
角奖的时候。
单是和自己以前合作过仅此所剩的旧拍档挥手，都挥了好久。
海味脸上的笑容，是含有怀念和欢欣。
以前的tvb，好演员实在太多了。
现在... 可以说，今时不同往日。
买了《刑事侦缉档案II》vcd。
虽然几个月前我在crunchyroll看过，不过当时我只顾着追看Mi的
部分。
要忍！考完了才看。

realised that i cant watch the star awards 25 years thingy on 9th dec coz i will still be in shanghai.
post-exam plans are on the way.

the guys pulled a prank on the birthday boy darren.
we joined in with the plan and watched from the 3rd floor.
they splashed a bucket of water on him after making him wait endlessly for them to appear.
of course, darren didnt know about the prank.
then he was forced into the toilet and the guys had his pants removed.
luckily he wore boxers.
that's the main difference how guys and girls celebrate their friends' birthdays.

welcomed three new members of the family.
one goldfish and two flat fish. (dont know what the flat fish is called)
the small fat goldfish practically ate up all the fish food that was meant for 3 of them.
the other two, i assume they are lovers (not sure), they like to hide in a corner of the empty tank whenever someone admires them.
after the person left, they then open up and swam around the tank.
the small fat goldfish is a hungry fella, who eats and shits at the same time.
but still, it is quite cute.
it likes to chase the other two, but they dont like the little fella chasing them.
the other two fish swim super fast.
was preoccupied with disturbing the fish.
papa's friend gave them to him, along with the tanks. the tanks arrived months before the fish did.
feels odd to have newfound pets.
odd, very odd.
almost couldnt wake up in time for the final project review, thanks to last night's movie.
our project won best continuity video, best caption story, and overall winner!
then we gobbled down the cake and the food.
then i did the leon lai-looks-at-watch-with-cup stunt in killing me tenderly.
i laughed over my stupidity.
Mi and hocc are recording a song together!
they shot their mv yesterday.
Mi’s style looked like the shocking pink style.

went back to school for evaluation and review.
after which we stoned at the benches, waiting for 7pm to arrive.
two cars drove out to bukit timah for dinner, then to gelato for dessert, and then to cathay.
reached cathay at 10plus, still had one more hour to idle around.
gramophone has lousy collection of asian cds.
finally, 1120pm arrived.
first time watching a midnight movie, and a R21 movie in cinemas.
lust caution.
exposition was quite long.
my first impression was: another shanghai movie.
in my mind, i naturally compared it with everlasting regret.
halfway through the movie, i almost fell asleep.
actually i would say the movie was not as nice as i expected it to be.
cant comment on the R21 parts la, coz i watched for the storyline.
yah so i felt the storyline was quite draggy.
and surprisingly i felt the storyline for everlasting regret was nicer than lust caution.
then i wondered why lust caution gets so recognised but everlasting regret got all the flak.
after the disappointment, i realise i cant appreciate tony's arthouse films.
like how 悲情城市 made me confused.
but his other films were quite alright.
shall stick to my favourite movie genre- the romance + comedies = the sammi genre.
i still very much prefer johnnie to's movies.

hopefully the formidable triangle can work together again.
happily slept until i felt like waking up.
for the past three weeks, tuesday nights are a routine: i only sleep 3 pathetic hours.
and the next wednesday would be a full-blast complete day in school from 930am to 10pm or so.
my macdonalds breakfast became lunch coz it reached me at noon.
bought a Mi pepsi drink can on impulse from auctions.
its quite cheap la.

all of us had chemistry.
shaking to the beat of the opening and MTV.
rozamie's graffiti is amazing.
vincent had our programme recorded on HD.
$100 KFC meal followed.
then it was the chilli/tomato packets battle.

aim: to see if they would bounce off his belly.
we had fun. =)
great groupmates, great project.
all the late nights (i skipped a few) were worth it.
from one subject to another.
i think my scriptwriting is screwed.
another failure following that of astronomy.
learnt a lot though, but still couldnt live up to seah's standards.
its not the end of projects yet.
there's a review on saturday.
i'm still hooked to the prince and the princess’ story.
i stupidly queued up at the cash deposit machine, hoping to update my passbook.
a million people in front of me, and i still persisted.
my turn. the machine read: passbook updates are available from 7am to 11pm.

看了重播的《翡翠歌星贺台庆2007》。
不自觉地拿了昨天播的《劲骚逐个捉：翡翠歌星贺台庆1994》
作比较。
94年的有Mi，安仔，四大天王，梅姐，克勤，以及其他现已不再
唱歌的歌手。
07年的有千嬅，基仔，祖儿，twins，杜丽莎，阿lam，关菊英，
以及其他半紫不红的新晋歌手。
我觉得，13年，有很大的差别。
94年的如此精彩，皆因它让我们重温美好的回忆。
美好却回不来的回忆。
单是梅姐和华仔做女子组和男子组的领队，已经是此景不再。
黎明和Mi玩得失去仪态，饼碎满口飞，现在岂有机会重温？
安仔和Mi公然打情骂俏，真的，已经是经典。
相信是一份昔日怀旧的感慨，使得94年的歌星台庆比今年的
更加好看。
反观，我觉得今年请了theresa和阿lam，更加突出tvb已经快
失去所有重量级的歌手的局面，竟然需要请出老师级的他们。
看来今年，在众歌手创出自己的成绩之余，除了显出香港乐坛的
重生，讽刺地，更显出tvb已经不再是歌手们的大靠台。
tvb在电视和音乐方面，正面临严重的艺人短缺；红又愿意留下的
艺人太少，新但上不了位的艺人则太多。
本身已经极少观看新的tvb剧集，原因很简单：没有我的偶像。
离开的离开，生bb的生bb。
想必《太极》的播出会是遥遥无期。
唯独重看以前的剧集。
哈哈。
我要去上海喇！
因为我姑姐想出国，但係佢朋友甩抵，所以咪揾我陪佢。
拣咗几个地方，但係今日去旅行社先发觉旺季嘅旅费係贵到抽筋。
於是乎选择咗上海/江南。
虽然我本身依然会好想去香港，不过我諗上海应该会唔错嘅...
自己就喺心里面计划未来嘅《香港独行月》。
睇怕都要储够钱先可以实现梦想。
又諗到自己成日电脑不离身，应该需要投资买部laptop。
咁啱今期《輕描淡寫》Mi又话自己啱啱买部Macbook。
哈哈。

最近钟意咗二叔公嘅《猪先生》。
亦都睇番《十万吨情缘》。
头先老豆同姑姐一齐睇足球，老豆支持Man U，姑姐支持Arsenal。
佢地两兄妹好耐都冇一齐坐低睇ball喇。
见到佢地嘅反应，真係好好笑。
Man U入球，一个开心，一个激到扎扎跳。
Arsenal入球，一个兴奋，一个不满。
结果...... 打和。
皆大欢喜。

finally was able to go home for dinner in the week.

in the end we didnt attend felix's lecture.
so we had early lunch.
darren and guang's chicken chops took damn long to cook, that they were getting super annoyed.
haha that was uber funny.
am very glad that mee pok man is not tested for the exam.
i hated the movie a lot.
