03:20 p.m. today i started designing my new blogskin on saturday, was busy with the html yesterday night, and im almost done! i can actually change the skin now, but decided to do it in december. so far the current one is the longest-running design, lasting for 21 months. back to my magazines. monday, 27 november 2006 after returning from the post office, i started rewatching ITA. sorted my magazines. the asian tv awards people are super inefficient. i give up on them. sunday, 26 november 2006 went to visit my grandparents. gujie bought ITA for me. =)

11:35 p.m. went tampines to walk around. bought 7 tvb weekly magazines, and 3 sammi cds. could have bought at least 3 more cds if not for the fact that i do not have enough money. but it sure made me happy to find the cds. i found my desired solvil titus watch! and its on 60% off!! yayness.
01:15 a.m. ive just bought another two mi movies off yahoo auctions. heh. speaking about not having post-exam plans. so im left with 4 mi movies before i complete my collection. not sure whether to get infernal affairs though. saw someone selling my desired solvil titus watch on auctions! but its of a different colour and the price is too steep. aaaah after spending some money via the internet, i finally feel the holiday mood. holiday mood = byebye money. i should get my post-exam list up, since so many people already have theirs up when their exams are not even over yet. =) and im no longer busified! i realised that has been my msn nickname since the start of the semester. i think i will see that term resurfacing again next january.
10:59 p.m. my exams are over!! to my friends who are still in the exam battle, dont give up! jiayou! and to friends who have yet to start their exams, jiayou too! today after two papers, i went to causeway point to walk around. i wanted to find the solvil titus watch model, which was quite old, so the nice shopkeeper gave me the model number and said i could refer to the online catalogue. but the city chain website has everything but the catalogue! wanted to buy mi's cd but cd-rama was too expensive. mj's cds are similar as well. anyway, my main point is: i saw this cd on the racks, called Best Music of Sammi. i checked that it was a YKW production so i didnt even consider buying it. then i flipped back to the cover and discovered yet another YKW translational rubbish.
wanted to buy ITA but figured tonight sailo would want to continue with OTB so i didnt buy. hmm i didnt have a post-exam plan, so im feeling kind of lost. i'd probably tidy my room and find some income, while waiting for all my friends to end their exams so that we can go dry swimming. tuesday, 21 november 2006 rewatched OTB. after this upteenth rewatch, i realised i prefer bo ju over fong fong. ahahah. monday, 20 november 2006 after hearing everyone typing like mad in islab, i almost didnt want to hear the keyboard sound anymore. yunxin and i managed to convert our assignments 1 and 2 into mp4 format! yipps. sunday, 19 november 2006 didnt go over to auntie peggy's house in the morning, because i was busy studying. for the dinner, initially it was alright, then later i felt uncomfortable. food was nice. havent seen relatives for a very long time. everyone is growing up. and growing distant from each other. didnt watch the anniversary. as usual dearest meiheng didnt appear so hahaha what for i watch it? =P
01:33 p.m. was reading my archives just now, and i realised how much ive written about my inner thoughts, compared to recent days. i realised ive complained about nitty-gritty stuffs, openly written how much i dislike something or someone, and written almost every single detail about the things happening in my life. in a way, it brings back a lot of memories. but then again, because this is a blog, not a diary, so i think some people will feel upset or annoyed after reading something they dont like in my archives, especially if i had mentioned something unpleasant about the people involved. in contrast, ive been less expressive about my inner thoughts as the years passed. instead ive been babbling on about idols in order not to step on anyone's shoes accidentally. i figured idol stuffs hurt the least, because only a few people share the same field of experience about them. anyway, if you dont like what you see on my blog, whether in the past, present or future, please dont get offended. whatever that was in the past is already over. and hopefully i dont offend anyone else in the future. isnt it very contradictory? you are supposed to be able to write freely on your blog, but at the same time you dont want people to get hurt after reading it, so self-censorship is exercised. all of a sudden i had this urge to type the above paragraphs. back to what i am supposed to do. ... when the morning comes 一切就不能重来

11:55 p.m. the results for the awards are out. am happy LFD won. am happy steven ma won. other than that i have no comments. anyway, every year's awards is bound to be slammed, because some people like the results, while some people dont. it was really fun to refresh the tvb chinese news page every 10 seconds for the updates, as well as the never-ending comments on the chatbox. fun because i agree with many of their comments. now im 100% happy that meiheng didnt attend the ceremony. okay enough about the topic. zip.
03:35 p.m. heard from rosy that the anniversary this year is today. it came as a surprise because ive always thought it will be on 19th november every year. i checked tvbj's programme listings, but they didnt have live broadcast today. then i realised they separated the awards and the celebration. saw the lovely pics of meiheng from yesterday's ultima-II event. meiheng said she is still having her holidays, and will not attend tonight's ceremony. since it isnt broadcasted here, and my only focus isnt attending it, then there is no need for me to follow the anniversary. heh so now i can attend victor's wedding without needing to buy tapes. in a way im glad that meiheng isnt involved in the chaos and rivalry of the anniversary speculation. all im hoping is for LFD to win best series. =)
11:02 p.m. its been aaahh so fast! the exams are next week! anyway lets recep my boring life. today i think i cant recall what happened on every individual day so im lumping all the random stuffs together. watched several mi videos on youtube. ive got the radio broadcast of needing you! yay! my current favourite song: when the morning comes. i have no idea why it isnt listed in any compilation albums. watched TITS. oh the mandarin dubbing is just horrid. i love 如果你有事 (if something happens to you). one of the most touching songs. the sentence that made me tear: 就算是有事我也不让别人再做我主角. it totally fits the scenario of yesterday once more. like i said, all these are just random. finished my 222 group paper! =) wednesday, 08 november 2006 after forensic last lecture, yimyiu, kiaying, tracey, yanting and i went to hk cafe for early dinner. had a hilarious conversation about tracey's hair, and we were happily snapping pictures with our handphones. yanting was exasperated that i kept snapping her candid photos. a "dog dog team" in the making! food was nice as usual. but what made me happy was that the cafe was playing sammi's cd on repeat!!! hahah. it was her very old cantonese album, called "it's time" compilation plus new songs. walked some shops in marina square. its the winter season! the stores are starting to sell fur jackets and all. oh im another sucker for jackets, even though i have absolutely no use for them in singapore. tuesday, 07 november 2006 201 last lecture. we had the clicker test. it was quite fun, but i feel that we shouldnt be too dependent on technology, especially on a device that has just started operating. never did i know that the technology part was applicable half an hour after that. we wanted to change the audio settings for 202 assignment 3, but it could only print to tape the audio but not the video, because there was a timecode error. we were all lost for words because we erased our whole assignment! nevertheless we calmed down and decided to re-edit using our rushes. because we've done the linear editing before, this time we did it at a faster rate. we finished it in 2 hours, including the soundtrack, and it was a better version. i was glad that we didnt panic, and i was extremely optimistic about it. this would be one time that i was happy that i had a 6-hour break. on second thought, linear editing isnt that bad after all. collected the needing you package today! yay am happy. monday, 06 november 2006 went for 221 last lecture. time sure zooms past. i felt like it was just yesterday that i started year 2. or maybe its because the exams are starting to loom around. auntie peggy came over to give us victor's wedding invite. since she personally came over, and even my cousins who are having Os are attending it, i have no reason not to appear. so i guess i have to tape the anniversary. sunday, 05 november 2006 nothing interesting. either that or i forgot what happened.
11:31 p.m. did some shopping with karen, pppt and kennise after buying present for jas. i bought 2 sammi CDs- Becoming Sammi and Complete. saw a really nice cheap thick jacket but pppt persuaded that it wasnt practical. went to a coffeeshop for zhu chao dinner and jas' super belated birthday celebration. had nice cake and nice food. finished dinner very early and had some time to spare. saw LaLaLa CD and was tempted to buy but i didnt. we took very long to decide the next activity, and eventually settled on kbox. had fun holding concerts each. but we were quite tired, dont know why too.
11:16 p.m. i forgot to blog on tuesday, so the last day of october falls into november's archives. today sailo was happily watching happy ever after. he enjoys it as much as i do even though we've watched it a million times. went to school for 221 tutorial. only 7 people turned up. i almost thought i went all the way for nothing. dr.D's e-learning lecture was short and funny. if only all lectures are like that. mi was the guest star for hocc's concert. she was so hyper and hilarious in the concert, especially when they sang ding dong. am getting my needing you package on tuesday. yays. cousin victor's wedding is on the same day as tvb anniversary. hmm i feel like giving the wedding a miss, partly because of the anniversary (even though i dont think i will be enjoying it either; you'd probably hear me critising it to no end), and the major reason is because i have a paper the next day. haiz. i was still thinking i can gather with my family on an occasion. thursday, 02 november 2006 washed my adidas bag. now it smelled as if it had just bathed. =) napped for 4 hours to replenish the energy for reading needing you. watched some mi videos on youtube. wednesday, 01 november 2006 went to the post office to collect my registered mail. yays my needing you novel arrived! i havent read chinese for a long time so my brain was alternating between reading it in mandarin or cantonese. papa came back at around 1030pm, and he brought back a china-brand dvd player. sailo and i had doubts whether the machine actually works in singapore. i was immersed in bookland the whole day, starting from the point i opened my mail. i read the book till 230am, and finished it!! in one day!! the book is super nice! it is quite different from the movie version. the movie version had lesser scenes because of its genre and time limit, whereas the book had no time limit, and thus more interesting scenes added. storyline was a bit different, more detailed, and with roger being the ultra boring nerd instead of the intelligent website founder. and of course, the movie's pace was faster.
the reason why i find the book nice was because they added a lot of scenes for wah-siu and kinki, which i think further enhanced the blossoming and sweet love between them. how i wish the book version was made into the movie instead. actually the book was written from the radio broadcast story that wah-zai and sammi recorded. hmmm i wonder where to lay my hands on that. nevertheless, the movie version was nice too! =) so at the end of the day i only slept for 3 hours. if only i can read my textbooks at that rate and with everything entering my head. tuesday, 31 october 2006 started editing assignment 3 at 10am, and finished the video part at around 2pm. which was considered very fast, because we took ages to edit 221 assignments. the most troublesome part was adding in the soundtrack. in short, linear editing is super tedious if it involves other effects. in the end we stayed till 7pm and was chased out by vincent. but we finally completed it. phew! and i broke my promise of not eating mcdonalds. yunxin was taking away for us, and vu wanted macs, and i wanted jap food, but tu said it would be very troublesome for yunxin to queue at both stalls especially during lunchtime. so all of us got macs... and yunxin got jap food for herself. -_-" sailo cleaned his room. because papa is coming back tomorrow. aaah so hardworking. and i have to do the rest of the chores. hrmph.
