11:16 p.m. was bored in the afternoon coz no HH3 to watch, so i rewatched a taste of love. papa took the dvd player home and i was only able to watch HH3 at night, but yongjie wanted to sleep and i couldnt really continue watching it outside. i want to finish watching HH3 but on the other hand after ive finished with HH3 then i'll have nothing to watch. =( rental auntie called me to collect 2/5 of the tvb calendars. so ive called yanting to collect it with me tomorrow coz she's the first to order from me. so eileen, joanna and meiqi, yours will come at a later date. got to dig out my black shoes.
03:05 a.m. i realised ive given out too much self-disclosure in my blog. people who know me personally will not need much information. people who do not know me and i do not know them, they do not need to know so much. so ive greatly reduced the information in my "about me" section so that the bare minimum is given out. the rest, like the links and fanfics pages, do not have info about myself so i left them as they were. but i shall reduce the number of pictures posted in my blog entries before i archive for the month. even though my blog serves as a diary for me to note eventful situations and thoughts, i feel that it does not need to contain some deeper information that are quite personal. furthermore this is an open website for all. not to mention ive been spending my time deleting the spams from servik.com. dont think i dont know. if the spams continue then im sorry i have to close my tagboard. but nevertheless, this blog will still have almost daily updates about what happens everyday and of course more nonsense about my idols and tv shows. time to sleep.
11:08 p.m. watched 6 episodes of HH3. returned fantasy hotel vcds at pasir ris and saw siling. on the way to whampoa, met collen on the bus. had dinner with grandparents and gujie at quality hotel which had the lousiest service. food was ok but the price was exorbitant. papa sent the dvd player for repairs coz it cannot play yongjie's dvd. so i have no HH3 to watch now until tomorrow evening.

sunday after the ceremony the bride and groom went back to the bride's house while we lazed around. the aunties were having their sisterly bonding while the youngsters were playing cards. soon got bored and nothing on tv to watch at 12pm. so jiawei and i went to ask auntie karen for mahjong to play. so the three usuals (yongiie, jiawei and i) played with uncle bernard and uncle teng liat taking turns to fill in the empty seat. kamseng-kor brought his son, gerald, along. so poor thing, the moment he was carried in, he was too overwhelmed by the crowd that he started crying. the aunties didnt dare to carry him. then kamseng-kor brought him for a walk downstairs and they came up with him not crying anymore. we were at the corridor eating when we witnessed the scene. the moment he came out of the lift, his mother came to him, and he cried again! took the lift down and up once more, and cried!! so poor thing, both father and son. hahahah. by the way, he grew a lot more hair since i last saw him at my housewarming. =) the newlyweds came home at around 1pm and we hurriedly woke the 3 lazypigs up- zhilun, zhijun and uncle michael- sleeping in all sorts of postures on the sofa. they brought the roast pig back and uncle bernard offered to chop the pig up. it was hilarious watching uncle bernard taking off his shirt and wearing the apron. we all stood around the chopping area in the kitchen, watching him chop the pig and dai-yee-ma feasting on the freshly chopped roast pork. uncle bernard says: "next time call me uncle butcher!" came home to rest and change. watched another 4 episodes of HH3, and papa started rushing us. in the end i was the first to be ready. we reached grand copthorne at 7 plus and we were thinking we might be sooo late but ahahha in the end everyone was standing outside waiting to be seated. all the aunties came in full force, dressing to the nines, looking like they were attending their own weddings. ahahha. i felt i was underdressed. =( ahah. waited for quite some time before dinner commenced. then the hosts said some words and welcomed kin-kin kor and his wife, marilyn. i just cant call him by his english name, melvin. it sounds weird coming out of my mouth. like i dont call xiaopei-zeh as yvonne. because from young we've been calling them like that. and im actually supposed to call my aunts as "yee-ma" because 5 of them are older than my mother while 2 are younger; and my 2 uncles supposed to be addressed as "kao-fu" but we just called everyone "uncle" including our "yee-jeung"s. ahahahah. nothing interesting about the bride and groom thingy. they just said a few words and played a silly game of passing the kiwifruit in the pants, and the yam-seng was pretty mute coz only the people on stage shouted. no kissing game too. hahaha. food was nice except for the dessert. ginko almond sweet soup. i thought the name sounded nice but what appeared in front of us was a bowl of liquid which smelt and tasted like liquid antibiotics. yongjie and i hated the smell. urgh. oh instead of the chocolates that were usually given to guests, they gave us keychains instead. the keychain was quite cute. hahah. but the ballroom was smaller than the ballroom of singapore swimming club. jiawei and i were talking through the whole night while the three fellows were having their own fun acting as ah loongs and whatnots. was too tired yesterday night to blog. and my head was throbbing. but anyway here are some of the pictures:

11:06 p.m. cleared all the newspapers in the living room, vacuumed the whole house, cleaned up the kitchen and part of my room. and im feeling very exhausted. and hooked onto chocolates. its getting really boring including the household chores. thankfully star awards is coming soon. wenfang and mingshun's new show is starting on 6 december. and jace's new show is also starting in december. time to buy tapes.. if i cant find a job by next week, i'll probably call sanshu to see if hyatt's hiring people again. though the job is mundane, it beats doing nothing and earning nothing at all. my december schedule looks quite packed. and yet my november schedule is empty. things just dont go the way i want it to.
11:58 p.m. feeling miserable. but i dont wish to say it here because i dont want people to take pity on me. plus im not the kind that will openly express my inner thoughts to any random person reading this. so i shall not say.

11:39 p.m. went out with yimyiu to bugis to eat at ajisen coz there's half price on mondays. on our way to the bras basah popular, we walked past mos burger and yimyiu spotted julian hee. we werent sure if the guy was him coz he was wearing a cap and without makeup and was sitting at one of the tables with a few kids. then i turned to my left and across the road, i spotted some tv production equipment. heh heh. a filming going on. and felicia chin was opposite of the road filming. i told yimyiu they were filming lian lian hong chen but she insisted it was some police show. felicia took quite long with her scenes coz she was supposed to chase someone and the camera would capture her expression and she did some sign languages. either she acts as a mute or she is communicating with one. then the crew crossed the road to our side to film her from across the road. so we decided to go into mos burger so that we wont be appearing as guest stars in the show. ahhahah. i was contemplating whether to take photo with julian or not. in the end i had to decide by scissors-paper-stone with yimyiu. and the result was yes. so i plucked my courage and approached him. he was quite shy and took the photo. and i asked him what show he was filming and he said lian lian hong chen and i saw the title on his script too. hahaha. i was right. oh! wenfang also acts in this show! so i was thinking whether i would see wenfang too. but knowing my luck, i wont get to see whoever i want to if i wished for it. they will just appear out of the blue, and see if i have the luck to see them. a fine example was the case of spotting joe at raffles city shopping centre. ahahhaha. julian was practising his script with some child actor or something. ahahhaha. yimyiu thinks he looks handsome even without makeup. and she said she is a coward coz she never dares to approach people like that. ahhaha. next time i must go with her to such events to boost her courage. went to popular. their cafe sucks. coz it is so shabby and it doesnt even have milo! coz yimyiu had a stomachache and she needed some hot milo.... but the newly revamped popular looks like a warehouse. in one way it is good coz there are a lot of stuffs. but it looks dilapitated coz the flooring is still cemented and everything is in a mess. hahahah we looked like two silly girls pushing the shopping cart at level 2 where there were only books. then we went up to level 4 and pushed the cart again, only soon enough to realise the whole level was full of toys and kids stuffs. ahhahahah. we walked past national library and i thought it was smu... -_-" yimyiu laughed at me the whole day. hahahaa she thought that was the funniest thing ever. went to cold storage for a while and i thought i saw carmen but she walked past very quickly. bought macdonalds for dinner for the 4th time this week. no cannot must stop eating mac!!! hahahahaha.
11:36 p.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MINGHUI! i am utterly disappointed with the tvb 38th anniversary. not by the results though, but by the way they changed the whole anniversary structure. i shall explain it in detail. but first here are the full list of winners:
best variety host: dodo cheng (justice for all 2) credits to myself coz i painstakingly typed out all these while watching the show. ok now for the slams and complains. the show started off with all the artistes standing on stage. spotted jessica, meiheng and joe. omg jessica and meiheng looked very very pretty! especially meiheng. hahaha. then all the hosts started talking. bowie and gigi danced some crap dance. then the awards were given out. initially i was quite happy coz most of my predictions were correct. but as the show went on it became so boring that i went to join gujie watching soccer. it became more like a show for the hosts than all the actors and actresses. the hosts entertained themselves with them boasting that they got an award. the other artistes were arranged to be seated on stage facing the audience. as the show went on, the number of people seated gradually decreased, up to the extent that there was only 20% occupancy rate at one particular scene. and in that scene, charmaine was spotted to be leaving her seat either for the toilet, or for a break from the utterly boring show. i was elated that niki won, because everyone said either bernice or leila will win, but i insisted on choosing niki. and yay i was right. ahahha. but not because i wanted niki to win, but i felt that tvb will give niki win. comparatively i will prefer leila to win coz she is more versatile. and why is tavia still in the improving actress list? didnt she get the award 2 years ago? if she got it 2 years ago, then why is she still under "improving"? she shouldnt be in this list in the first place. and elaine yiu??? yucks she totally cant act in RDOV. why was she in the top 5 at all? as expected angela tong won the supporting actress, and she was very happy when she won. i feel she deserved the award because she has been a good supporting actress for a very long time and yet was always hidden under the covers. but the other nominees are good as well, but maybe because of the current hype about angela's role in life made simple, it was much predicted that she will get the award. i wanted hui siu hong to win the best supporting actor. but it went to har yu. i like har yu too. so im quite happy that i lost this particular prediction coz i dont mind har yu winning it coz he is certainly a good actor. most improving actor was more or less bosco. his name appeared 4 times in the nomination list. who else can it be? but i cant believe tvb is so biased. almost all of the awards went to war of the in-laws. i wasnt happy that the best drama went to WOIL. because there are so many other dramas that are MUCH better than WOIL. WOIL is just a 20-episode comedy that stars the "big sister" liza wang. if you take liza away, it is nothing but a comedy. and out of the 24 nominated dramas, there are so many other comedies that are equally or even much funnier than WOIL. if WOIL won because of liza, then i would say it doesnt deserve the award because only liza was taken into consideration and not the casting, script, plot, and filming effects. it wouldnt be fair to other directors of other dramas. as for the overseas drama, i told gujie that i will knock my head against the wall if jewel in the palace didnt win. luckily i didnt have to knock my head. but anyway i found this particular award quite redundant. only 9 nominees and more than half are korean shows. what good does it do to give out the award to a foreign drama on a hk anniversary programme? another redundant award is the publicity clip. like what the hell. this is again not an advertising show. and why only the 10 are nominated? what happened to the rest of the clips? too lousy? and what decides the quality of the clips to be nominated? besides JITP and WOIL, the other clips are for variety programmes. why only these two drama clips? this is pretty obvious that tvb is unfair. best actor went to roger for his ah wong again. i was half shocked because LMS is a very new show compared to the rest, and seriously his ah wong is no different from the ancient ah wong. but then again, roger is a good actor and his number of votes were quite high too so i wasnt totally shocked. i wanted joe, moses or michael to win. but seeing how crappy tvb can be, i feel that it is most probably because roger is a fully tvb-managed artiste, while joe and moses are managed by outside managers, and michael and king-sir are on contract basis. as for best actress, this was the award that created the most hype. and i was pretty certain that kenix wouldnt win. because i feel that tvb wouldnt give the award to kenix... yes, for the same reason, being that kenix is managed by an outside manager, while the ah-zeh liza is, um well, the ah-zeh. the other 3 actresses are fully tvb-managed actresses too. it was pretty expected so ive nothing much to say. just quite sad that meiheng didnt make it into the top 5 list. i was happy that the extraordinary award was given to har ping. i love har ping. she's so cute. hhahahha. anyway, this year's anniversary shouldnt be called an anniversary. it should be called an award ceremony. no more skits and dances and performances put up by everyone in tvb. instead, dances by professional dancers and songs sung by jacky cheung replaced the anniversary spirit of the past years. i hate the change. i feel that tvb should retain the "my most favourite..." title instead of changing it to "best..." just for the sake of professionalising it like the american way. it is through such affectionate titles that the uniqueness of the tvb anniversary is retained. furthermore, 19 november is tvb's birthday. tvb's anniversary. and the whole purpose of having an anniversary programme is to celebrate tvb's birthday and let everyone celebrate with all the artistes. and the awards were purely an accompaniment with the performances to act as an encouragement to the artistes who have toiled and worked hard for the past year. but look at it now. it has transformed into a cold-hard award ceremony without the essence of celebrating tvb's birthday. winning an award is deemed to be so important, more important than enjoying themselves for one night. and this year's anniversary is the worst, simply because the rest of the artistes were totally ignored. the hosts were entertaining themselves in front while the rest were seated behind, chit-chatting and it seemed like all the action was only focused on the hosts. quite true, look at the awards. liza has involvement in 3 awards. dodo won one award. joey is involved with 2 awards. the rest never involved any other artistes. and during the "supposedly funny" performance, the hosts danced some whacky but retarded dance, and joked among themselves. it looked like an all-hosts show. which totally demeans the whole purpose of the anniversary. the crux of my utter disappointment and almost anger, is that they scrapped off the most favourite artistes awards or something like that since they already changed the names. every year during the previous years, either 10 or 12 artistes will be awarded based on popularity with the audience. whatever happened to this award???? its like scrapping singapore's star awards top 10 artistes. no more kick and less people get awarded. only those people who won the other awards were recognised. then how about the other popular artistes? are their popularity thus being supressed by the special awards winners? low budget huh, tvb? then why bother awarding foreigner films and redundant clips? and the whole show was so rushed that i always hear dodo say they had not enough time. the prize winning games were so obviously fixed. it was quite obvious that the car and the condo were internally fixed for whoever they wanted to give them to. the games were spastic. what fun does it give to viewers seeing artistes bursting balloons with their backsides with no form of competition? in summary, im very disappointed with this year's anniversary. i felt i wasted the 2.5 hours watching a liza show. but what was nice was that meiheng changed into 2 dresses, and both her dresses were beautiful. the first one was a blue dress with a white fur coat. the second one was a silverish dress and she looked gorgeous. jessica wore a greyish dress and she looked stunning. joe wore a off-white-almost-grey suit with a cotton scarf around his neck. cant remember what ah mo wore. the girls' dresses were overall very nice, simple and elegant. the guys' attire were simple and smart. all their clothes looked nice. the bad part about it is that all these nice clothes were most of the time blocked by the hosts in front. wasted. dodo's dress is the ugliest. she looked like she wore bikini and she soaked herself in orange juice the night before. hope no one takes offense in whatever i said. im venting out my dissatisfaction and disappointment. whats done has been done. ive learnt not to have such high hopes of tvb anniversary. probably next year it will change its name to tvb awards ceremony. yay bought some clothes today at harbourfront. at least ive got something. ahhah.

11:25 p.m. voted for the anniversary thingy yesterday. decided not to publish my predictions coz it doesnt come true if it is posted here. ahhaha. finished watching fantasy hotel. 20 episodes in 3 days. hahaha. i wasnt happy with the ending. i felt that it shouldnt just end like that. i expected something more out of it.
story review: ka-man's marriage was on the rocks when she realised alex had been cheating on her for 3 years. she finally got a divorce with the help of kit who aided in revealing the true colours of alex. ka-man, kit and shan became good friends guadually. uncle hoi (wu fung) was the owner of a lodging house called wong kam hotel. one day the hotel was on fire and the three of them saved uncle hoi who was trapped inside the fire. in appreciation, uncle hoi decided to give the hotel to the three of them. the hotel was already suffering a loss. what made it worse was the disturbance caused by shan's "superb girlfriend", chan kiu-chor (angela tong). kiu-chor's tactlessness and greediness soon got onto the nerves of everyone in the hotel. meanwhile, ka-man realised that she was beginning to fall in love with kit. however, with her previous mistake in marriage, she had reservations in beginning the relationship. kit likes a movie star, tung ni. they got together for a while, and that made ka-man felt that kit was just like any other men who would hurt her in the end. uncle hoi's godson, ko cheung, came back from overseas and liked ka-man. however, ka-man had no feelings for him. after a series of events, the hotel was able to sustain, kiu-chor became repentant on her behaviours, and kit realised that the one he loved most was ka-man. he went all out to chase her but she didnt want to accept him. the end. im skipping all the whatever events that happened coz i feel that if i mention them, the whole story will appear here. basically, the show is very funny. all the small actions from everyone in the show made it very hilarious. i cried during the scenes where alex called ka-man everyday to tell her he missed her when she ignored him after discovering his affair. the way he described his feelings made me so touched. but then again, i cant stand his indecisiveness. one moment he missed his wife, the next moment he was in bed with his mistress, bowie. then he came back to his wife, and his mistress said she was pregnant. he went back to his wife for a divorce coz of the baby, and next the mistress aborted the baby. then he went pleading to his wife again. wah lau i wanted to slap him. cant he make up his mind? hahaha. i love the way they call him "9 shots". then ka-man will say "just give him 8 shots. leave the last one for me". hahahah. and i totally love the way ka-man gets fumed up. like when she got really irritated by 9 shots and kiu-chor. she scolded the exact words that i wanted someone in the picture to scold kiu-chor. hahahaha. im not going into details of each character. overall a funny show, but sometimes a bit draggy. kit only started to like ka-man in episode 16! and ka-man only accepted him in the last 10 minutes of the last episode!! i actually prefer the storyline when it was regarding the tour guides. running the hotel doesnt seem any attractive than being a ridiculous tour guide. ahahhha. and the ending was too rushed. nothing was said about the results of the hotel, with just only the part that displayed tung ni having a press conference there. the ending seemed like it was rushed out due to the fact that the relationship between kit and ka-man started and developed too slowly and they wanted a happy ending. some of the dialogues are damn funny. like in the first episode, kit and shan were singing the daddy song. and kit is the pineapple bun prince and ka-man is the cocktail bun queen. hahaha. and ka-man mentioned twice that she is a "meiyan". hahahaha. coz during filming the crew always called dayu and meiheng as "dayumeiyan", and meiheng already got her nickname from the conqueror's story as meiyan. ahhaha.

11:00 p.m. day one after freedom. hmm not exactly freedom. i still have to do housework. haiz. watched fantasy hotel up till episode 10. its a very hilarious show. there are some parts that i cried and a lot of parts that i cant stop laughing. =D saw the pictures of the tvb calendar. of course my favourite is the march/april one. hahaha. but i find it weird that they combine 2 months into one page. since they have so many people, why cant they split them up into the 12 months instead of cramming them into 2 months? boohoohoo flora's not in the calendar. but never mind. at least meiheng and jessica are in the same month, and standing side by side. ahhaha. nothing much. back to fantasy hotel. oh by the way, papa picked up a digital camera in his taxi. nobody came to claim after so many days. so its ours to keep.
08:18 p.m. i am a happy girl today. CS108 is over... YAY!! end of exams!! most CS people are so happy that exams are over that they plaster words like "EXAMS ARE OVER!" and "SCREAMS! HOORAY!" or something like that in the first line of their entry in their blogs. hahahha. i decided to have a mini shopping spree so i sat on the train for 27 stops all the way to pasir ris. a sense of familiarity welcomed me. hahha. walked the whole of white sands. went into one jewellery shop with the aim of finding the pair of earrings that lai siu wore in the last episode on ITA. but guess what? instead i found another pair of earrings that ive always wanted to find! its the pair that tiffany wore in hard fate! previously i had a hard time finding that pair of earrings. so its true that the things you intend to find wont appear so easily, but when you dont intend to find it, it just pops out right smack in front of you. hahaha. and its quite cheap too. ahhaha. yay! =) next stop, pasir ris video rental shop. hahaha. went back there to rent fantasy hotel. auntie told me the calendars will come only in december. there was a foreigner asking for directions. he approached me and being the nice girl, i brought him to the block that he was finding. because the block was pretty far from our location, i brought him to somewhere nearer. we sort of chatted and he's a japanese. he said his wife bought a house in singapore and he alighted at the wrong stop. haha. he asked if im a college student or a uni student. and he went on and said he graduated from uni 10 years ago. ahahahah. he's quite nice. and so we reached and i used my ban tong shui japanese to say "you are welcome". hahaha thats probably the best sentence that i can say. yay! i feel happy doing a good deed. =) next stop: tampines mall + century square. nothing much at tampines mall. by the way, i was shopping aimlessly. so i didnt buy any clothes. coz i figured that i can get money from papa to buy clothes coz we have a wedding to attend soon. fwahahahha. bought 4 issues of tvb weekly and the issue of next weekly with meiheng on the cover. yay! haaa. but didnt buy any vcds from poh kim coz they are seriously too expensive. to catch the uncatchable is a frigging $80+!! for like 25 episodes... siao. final stop: simei eastpoint. purely for the sake of searching for tvb calendars sources. when i went in, the rental lady was unusually happy. everytime i go there, i will see her with a black face. but she was smiling all the way today. hahaha. probably because she heard that i wanted to order 7 calendars from her. so friends!!! yes, ive placed orders for all of you!! (bolded that coz i scared you all will order from somewhere else) she said she will try to get all 7, but if cant get all 7 then probably those who've ordered 2 copies will get only one la, coz must be fair to others too. hahaha. spent a total of $65 today. so im not spending my own money anymore until probably end of this week. ahhaha. to all my friends who are still in (or will soon be in) the exam battle, study hard! all the best and good luck!! =D
11:12 p.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADELENE! look, i even blogged at the time with your birthday numbers! haha. the new tv came and yay we can watch tv as per normal again. i woke up at 2pm again. argh. the weather was simply too nice to sleep in. gujie came over. and we watched into thin air. and she got all hooked and started to force me into telling her whether her guesses were correct. hmm i think her way of predicting storylines are quite accurate. she guessed almost 90% of the outcomes. ahaha. just now i went into mnfc forum. and saw the 200+ screen captures of ITA. ahahaha that webmistress had almost the same screencaps that i did! except that she got episodes 11-20 while i only have 11, 12, 13 and 17. so, im not posting my screencaps here la. maybe some nicer pics. ahhaha. and i am currently saving the stunning pics of meiheng in dream of colours. in that show, i dare to say that she looks stunning in almost every clothing that she wore. and im still saving them. like a hundred odd pics hahaa.

11:02 p.m. i slept for 12 hours today. hahha but i still feel tired. did nothing productive today. except updating myself with tvb news and finally joining friendster. hah i know im slow. coz previously i had no intention of joining it. la~~~ im bored. so i made screen captures of into thin air. but i can only make them from videos that are in avi format. wmv and rm formats cannot. haiz. shall post them up here for all to view. tomorrow. ahhaha. and yes, have to get back to studying le.
10:33 p.m. CS106 is over. i think everyone wrote crap. this is the first exam that people left the hall early. it either means that they are fast, or they cant be bothered. hahaha. nicholas (the star idol guy) came in late and was sitting at the desk beside mine. in the middle of the exam, his handphone rang. HANDPHONE! and he nonchalantly off-ed it. and nobody came to him about his handphone which was on the desk for all to see. hahaha. think the invigilators couldnt care anymore. i started hiccuping during the exam. was quite loud and i was utterly embarrassed. it didnt stop until nearing the end. and the src was damn cold!! everyone literally dashed out when the invigilator started speaking into the mic. nobody waited for her to finish what she wanted to say. hahaha. came home, watched family man, and started downloading the rest of the clips from meiheng's webbie. so the whole afternoon i was watching secret of the heart with part of meiheng's parts. and usually meiheng's parts have jessica parts. so yay! i was happily watching and recalling the storyline from the last time i watched it. that was wayy back in dont know when. oooh after recipe of the heart. mmm means around 1999-2000. in actual fact, secret of the heart was the very first show that made me notice meiheng. i still vaguely remembered the scene at the back alley. ahhah. that time i didnt know how to pronounce her name so i checked the dictionary to find out. ahahaa. but anyway secret of the heart is nice to watch but somewhat draggy. a lot of people in the show. this is the only big production that i like gallen's character. i didnt like the way tim treated helen in ATE. but anyway, i dont think im buying the vcds coz jessica and meiheng have quite little screen time compared to the bigger leads like amy and ada. plus, i knew the ending and so.. haha wont buy unless i have a lot of spare cash. i feel like i finished my exams but actually i have the last paper on monday. yesterday i was watching a herbalist affair and dream of colours, both shows only the parts with meiheng. in herbalist affair i hear meiheng speak a lot of fluent mandarin, and in healing hands 3 parts i hear her speak a lot of fluent english. ahhhh. hahaha. i love that website! allows me to download so many shows and clips. especially into thin air. i got the whole show there. lalalalalala. im quite bored now. hahaha. very contradicting right? i dont feel like studying yet. no one is updating their fanfics so i got nothing to read. oooh jacelyn's going to pasir ris on sunday. haiz when im in pasir ris, she goes to places like bishan. when im in woodlands, she goes to pasir ris. a big joke this is. and she is going at a frigging time of 930am! means i have to wake up at 630am! i think by the time she finishes her parts i still can grab a macdonalds breakfast. will do my predictions for tvb anniversary around these few days, do the predictions for star awards a few weeks later, and post the reviews of into thin air and tguit these few days. hurhur.
09:36 p.m. CS111 is over. luckily it was an open book paper. i brought all the lecture notes in and didnt bring in any readings at all. luckily the points were all from the lecture notes. =) before the exam, we were all seated getting ready. dillon was in front of me, and on dillon's right was jason. as usual jason was acting cool and all sorts. he whipped out his voda voda water bottle, placed it on the desk. whipped out a bottle of who-knows-what drink that resembled a bottle of wine, placed it on the desk. then he whipped out a CONED-SHAPED WINE GLASS and again placed it on the desk. dillon and i and probably the rest of the people behind him were trying to figure out what was wrong with him. then he opened the bottle and drank from it. he poured half of what was left into the glass and sipped from it. and started his exam. erm i think he thought he was chilling out in a bar instead of taking an exam. hahha. dr choi and the caucasian professor who were invigilating were looking at him and laughing too. that was such an amusing episode that i had to type it here. ive never in my life seen someone sipping wine from a wine glass in an examination hall. have you? eileen, can you lend me herbalist affair vcds? thanks in advance! yesterday night i was in a battle with a beetle. the beetle flew in without me noticing, and it was only after i switched off the lights and climbed into bed that the stupid insect started flying around the room as though my room was its playground. i heard the buzzing sound of the beetle flipping its wings, so i turned on the lights to locate it and wanted to kill it. but the stupid bug kept flying near the ceiling and near the air con. i needed to sleep, so i took out the insecticide but when i returned i couldnt find the bug. so i off-ed the lights again and it started flying again and i sprayed at the stupid bug and...... after a long battle, it was struggling on top of my closet, and i sprayed some more and it fell into the gaps between the wall and the closet. gross. i should have swept the insect off. and this morning, i was awakened by the same bug!!! it didnt die and started flying around again. i was so annoyed and sprayed again. and this time i dont know where the beetle went. maybe still behind my closet. as long as it doesnt fly out again, and it doesnt attract ants to it, im okay with the bug staying there. i hate insects.
11:49 p.m. CS102 is over. was looking through laozhao's blog. the pictures that she took of cambridge were super nice! and her comments are very funny too. i laughed out when i read that she siam-ed the cows and ducks. hahahah. but she doesnt reply to the comments made on her blog, so i decide to comment here coz she comes here once in a while too. ahahha. im glad that she enjoys life in london while studying, at least she doesnt feel that homesick when she is enjoying her time there. same to meiqi, hope she is getting used to waking up with the cold london air instead of the blazing hot sun here in singapore. =) downloaded a clip of the tvb 35th anniversary starbiz interview. the one that i previously had was the edited one. so now the new one that i got is the full version, and ooooh flomo was so sweet in the clip!!! notice that i term "flomo" as a singular term. ahahha. ^.^ study.. study.. study..
10:58 p.m. CS101 is over. i couldnt remember anything about nonverbal communication, which i was still memorising before entering the exam hall. urgh. nothing much in my life besides exams and more meiheng.. haha. wanted to review into thin air but it takes a long time. wanted to post some interesting pictures but it takes some time too. in the end i decided to post a list of miss chinese international winners. remember last time (june 2005 archives) i posted a list of miss hk winners that i know of? so now im posting this list of miss chinese international winners that i know of. hahaha.

special mention to singapore winners: ok my comments. the miss hks each year will join miss ci in the next year. hmmm nothing much before 1993. the funniest was the 1993 batch. christy chung was given "miss handsome looking". erm.... does that imply she looks like a man? hahha. and i almost got a shock when i looked through the list of contestants. IRENE ANG! i wasnt sure if it was her and the photos on the website arent clear. but oooh i didnt know she went to join the competition. ahahahha. i know no one in the 1994 batch. if mariane or kenix had won instead of mok ko yan (1993 miss hk winner) i think they might have a chance of winning. and yay! in 1996 meiheng wins over winnie yeung. hahahaha. the website also gave meiheng's measurements! ahhaha. think that set of measurements was like in 1996. 2000 and 2001 had sonija kwok and bernice liu bagging three awards respectively. in my opinion, i dont think that they are that beautiful to win so many awards. i think its because the number of awards increased each year so they had to find someone to give the awards to. look at the titles: internet popularity. how can they even put that as a criteria? internet popularity is a super unfair way of judging who the audience think should win. the following years have nothing much. newbies that continue staying as newbies. as for the singapore winners, i know none of them, but the 1996 winner was said to very beautiful and eloquent. hmmm she won meiheng that year. hahahha. but based on their pictures, i think meiheng is prettier. hahah. it is through such international competitions that we can see the standards of miss hks. they sometimes go unseen and other beauties shine over them. i dont really like the newbies. especially mandy cho. i just cant stand the way she looks at people and the camera. her eyeballs will always be slanted to one side instead of looking straight even when the camera is right in front of her. the end. winners list courtesy of miss hk beauties . if ive said anything you dont like about anyone, please do not take any offence. i did the list because i wanted to find out more about meiheng, and true enough, i found a section of a video that she was hosting the 2002 miss chinese international. hahahahaha.

10:13 p.m. study week has made me lost track of the holidays that we are supposed to enjoy. yesterday was deepavali. tomorrow is hari raya puasa. i feel no festive mood in me. haiz. im terribly sorry to everyone who has placed an order for the tvb 2006 calendar from me. i called the auntie and she said each registered member can only place one order. really sorry...! but i will keep a lookout for other places that sell the calendars. studying wasnt effective. i find myself distracted half the time. someone on the tvb discussion forum mentioned about how to make screen captures with windows media player. i tried, and it worked!!! ooohh hhooo. just press Ctrl and i together and tah-dah! hahahahah. so cool. umm am i the outdated one? hahah never mind. joined MNFC (melissa ng fans club) forum. they have wonderful downloads! i downloaded a clip of meiheng's small birthday party, and she was so nice to everyone there! i figured those people who attended were probably long time fans. and i downloaded ITA episode 1 and some edited clips of HH3. darn that made me all tempted again. ahahahah. its november. time passes very quickly. im glad its november coz i can now finally flip my calendar and yay! flora, joe and kenix are on the november page. hahahha. by the way, ive decided to call melissa meiheng (previously meihang) coz even though the way of pronouncing her name is mei hang, but in her profile its mei heng. so... yah meiheng it shall be. back to studying.
