sometimes i dont get how come people like to have the last say in everything. ego? too much self-confidence? proud? or just plain self-centered?

took off for sailo's graduation ceremony.
went kino in search of possible books to buy with my vouchers.
i seem to be more particular about the books that i buy than on clothes.
because of that, i didnt buy any.
went to sailo's graduation in the afternoon.
after the long introduction and long speech by the guest-of-honour (during which i really fell asleep and had a dream), the ceremony started, and sailo's fame on stage came and went in merely 20 seconds.
i guess its the same thing for every convocation, including mine in a year's time.
the photo taking after that is probably the main point of the whole event.

after work, while waiting for a colleague to withdraw money, poker, xun and i were standing around the reception. there was a teenage crowd at the reception too, waiting to watch the loser show on channel u. then this girl came to us with a clipboard and asked, "are you here for the..."
before she could finish her sentence, all three of us quickly said a million NOs to her, and frantically tried to ascertain the fact that we are staff.
hello do we look like desperado fans of the loser show?
hmm maybe i have the "fan" look, but please, do not associate me with the loser show.
my idols are of much higher calibre than the losers on the show.
sigh i feel slightly insulted by being associated with fans of the loser show.

went boon's place to play mahjong.
even though cui and i lost big time, we still had a lot of fun.
after that boon the big winner treated yy and i to ice cream.
feels weird playing mahjong on a sunday.
because i felt as if the next day was a weekend too.
bought my puzzle frame from tampines, coz the causeway point branch didnt have the colour i want.

stayed home to rest, and rewatched parental guidance 1 DVD that kennise burnt for me previously.
actually wanted to go out but then i was feeling lazy.
in the end i still went out, and came home with a paper bag with six items, adding up to the total cost of SGD204.50.
it was their sale, and for the six items, the average price is about SGD34, which is not that bad for a branded store. i spent enough to have their VIP card, but they didnt have anymore catalogues for me, so i took 2 more pretty paper bags in compensation.

the booby trap didnt manage to be recorded. we left early, and apparently director said it failed because the leading actor was acting so well to the script that the director couldnt bear to see the actor suffer in agony.

finally watched mad detective with sailo.
quite a nice movie, very intelligently shot, the cuts were quite good too, very good script and excellent actors.
i love the johnnie to-wai ka fai collaborations.
i thought i probably needed another rewatch for the last part, but i am too timid to rewatch it at night and alone.

after that, met with yy for gym.
and went to marina for the korean food at the food court.
i was quite amazed that i could still run 3km despite sleeping at 5am and waking at 9am.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY YANTING!
what could go wrong went wrong.
这是我第一次感受到头疼至爆裂状态的痛楚。
心里有着太多事情等着处理，都聚集在一个小小的脑袋。
似是一个被挤得满满的行李箱。
那晚，我几乎面临崩溃状态。
一宗公事，一宗私事，还有许多零碎的事情。
再加上身体已被整天的身心攻击而深感疲惫。
身心再也负荷不起所有的打击。
所有的感受一直被压抑着，在返归的车程，听到Mi的《有一種快樂》。
那首歌是当时的催泪弹。
一直没机会流露的感受终于全都出来了。
两行盐水直落不停。
车程漫长的程度，好似搭上了光年列车。
也许，矮小身躯的背后，有着太多太多的负担和责任。
但却没有任何一道能让自己发泄感受的途径。

managed to reach home in time to catch it.
saw wenfang in the canteen.
wanted a photo, then it dawned on me.
that i was wearing her fanclub tee.
of all days, i had to meet her on the day i wore the tee.
took a photo with xiang yun and wenfang.
im still waiting for CY to send me the photos taken in her HD memory card which was too high-def for any card reader to read.
