when the morning comes...

bought a new laptop on saturday.
felt it was quite a hasty decision.
but nevertheless, i like my laptop very much!
its white, pretty and not too big.

finished downloading all the kindred spirit episodes with meiheng in them.
i like it when my laptop gives me the mood to do work.
however, its distracting that i cant type as hard as i did last time, because my laptop is new and i cant bear to stain it, let alone spoil it.

received four parcels today.
yesasia: becoming sammi SACD hybrid, erica li's book.
auctions: germaine's Beyond CD.
auctions: listen to...CD
the 3K guy: 30 CDs.

with the second box, it amounts to SGD$10 per CD received.
but Complete was incomplete (ironically), half the CDs look like they just came back from a war (and obviously lost), and he didnt send me the first album and my Sup Gai limited edition boxset as promised.
on a brighter note, i finally have I Deserved white limited edition! yay.

21 more days. Gambatte!

omg finally!

a little bit dizzy.
wednesday morning finished my essay, only to find out that i wrote twice the required amount of words because i wrote in wordpad that doesnt have word count.
therefore spent 45 minutes cutting it down to 1500 words before sending it to dropbox.

then went to library, intending to do my korean homework, when i entered youtube and found something that made me super duper happy:

some kind soul uploaded ALL the meiheng parts in A Kindred Spirit!!!

omg heavenly. and then im gonna find a way to take 12 days' leave in december. 一於玩盡佢!

10pm: entered the avid suite. started editing the video and report.
3am: macdonalds came. yay!
4am: did my korean homework.
5am: edit again.
630am: all tired. revised my korean presentation.
8am: slept.
815am: woke up.
9am: macdonalds breakfast.
10am: went for class.
1030am: presentation. done in a flash.
12pm: went back to edit.
3pm: lunch.
4pm: edit. the whole suite was crowded with people, somehow all playing games.
8pm: done. export.
10pm: done exporting. cabbed home.
11pm: slept like i never slept before.

24 hours in the edit suite. believe it or not, that is not the record. meiyan set the record of 26 hours. and we didnt want to break the record. gonna faint if we stayed until 12am just to break the record.

and so i slept until 3pm this afternoon. leona went to hk for performance so we didnt have class this morning. finished rewatching fantasy hotel so i started KOYAT last week. continued with it until evening when i went to the post office to collect my mail.

very random. suddenly all the burden are almost gone so i feel kind of relieved. at least for the week.

watching ah chiu now. damn nice.

Wednesday, March 18, 2009, 02:28 a.m.

my computer had once again died on me.
fortunately it was after my presentation.
unfortunately my appendix wasnt backed up.
so i had to redo.

one week without a computer.
i was actually used to it.
because my computer has died and revived so many times in its short lifespan of less than 4 years.

after 3.5 hours of frustrating backing up and reformatting, my computer has been revived.
files backed up.
apollo hard disk finally readable. yay.
but then i took ten years to update windows.
restarted a million times.
and couldnt download msn from the stupid official website, until i realised it should be from the download centre.
okay msn done.

time to do my essay.
prepare for korean presentation tomorrow.
ton in the editing suite tomorrow.
i need to sleep.

ps. i think i still want a laptop in time to come.

currently in acrc.
the new computers have nice keyboards.
and its not as cold as before.

... maybe because it's raining heavily outside.

finished my korean essay.
presentation not completed yet.
appendices not completed yet.

spent the past hour or so doing nothing.
because i know i will have many things to do when i get home.

chiong-ed finished the master of tai chi.
i could vaguely recall myself crying during some scenes when i first watched it last year.
and i did the same thing this time round.
the only redeeming factor of the show, is meiheng.

time to go for class.

it seemed to have travelled around the globe before landing in singapore. i see sand in the box. it must have sunbathed at the beach in hawaii.

i certainly believe that the second box (ie. last box) should be frolicking with the penguins in antarctica.

趁昨天早放学，
到书局走一圈，
随意地买了一本香港旅游指南。
在潜意识里，我其实多么想即飞香港，直奔「潮流特区」。

今天心血来潮，
收拾整个家。
花了3个小时，
终于收拾到我满意的程度。
已经一个月未吸尘，
发现原来男人掉的头发比女人还多，
只是女人的头发比较长，
所以看似一堆头发，
其实不过是两三根。

anyway，
听了《完全拥有》disc 2 三次，
边听边吸尘，
其实收拾是一种享受，
一种心情的舒缓，
能够放低所有烦恼，
专注地像发现新大陆一样地发现堆积的尘螨，
然后自豪又有成就感地走在滑亮的地板。
是值得的。

几百天才清理吸尘袋一次，
bleah!
当我刚踏出家门，
正前往大垃圾桶时，
一个灰白色的小身子从家外那排植物跃出。
它看我，我看它。
喇喇声关门，把垃圾丢掉，
再回到门外与那只猫大眼瞪小眼。

我对它喵了几百次，
只猫终于不怕了，
赶紧抱它找主人。

我其实不是特别想帮那只meow，
最后也没找到主人，
只好让它自由活动。

真正的原因是，
我不想只meow进来我家。
好不容易地收拾，绝不能因为只meow而耗尽3个小时的努力！！！
