09:18 p.m. i went to jace's autograph session at kinokuniya orchard. met up with the other fans and gu jie . we didnt reach there very early. at around 2pm the host michelle liow came and she talked a bit and then jace the big author came!! and we were all very excited to let her sign our books. i realised that the earrings she wore looked familiar. after thinking hard, i realised she was wearing the earrings that i bought for her on her birthday!! when it was my turn for her to sign (by the way, i was the 5th person in the queue), she asked for my name and i replied "xue lin" and she said "ohh i remember, is it without 'g'?" and i replied ya.. while she was signing, i asked her "is that the pair of earrings that i gave you?" and she replied yes.. i was so elated!! since she wore my earrings, she must have read my card!! its such a great feeling because its rare for an artiste to use what a fan gives. hahahahahah. i shall put the picture of her with the earrings in my next entries. bwahhahahah. gu jie brought the pirated vcds of hard fate and lady fan. i checked, and it was alright, except that the voice was dubbed in mandarin!! i want the cantonese one!! coz the pirated vcds were meant for china fans who do not understand cantonese. and the discs have only one language!! argh. never mind la, i will still watch it anyway hahahhaha.
02:36 p.m. i was late for school with yunxin today. there was an accident along the opposite road leading into the interchange. and so bus 196 was stuck in the original position, moving like 1 metre per 5 minutes. take note when we boarded the bus it was 7.19am. i slept on the bus, and when i woke up it was 7.25am and the bus wasnt moving. it had just left the interchange and wasnt even on the main road yet. and so blah blah blah we reached at 7.50am, after experiencing 2 jams. mr seet was nice to let us off, considering that there were many people late as well. hahahahah. most dhs people went to xianliang's cremation. i didnt coz i was afraid i would cry. there was less than half the class present for gp. pathetic. ahhahahahahha. am buying jace's book later. guess i will be updating lesser things here. coz there's nothing interesting happening. for now.
12:33 p.m. today's pre-prelim practical lasted for 4 periods. and it was immediately followed by math lecture and so i only had time to eat just now. jazreel gave me a picture of jessica in hongye costume yesterday and i was extremely happy! thanks! grace gave me some fann and jacelyn articles and wenting gave me the jacelyn articles from style! yay! thanks! and yimyiu found my stolen chem tys in the reading room! yayayay! thanks! hahhahah today was quite rewarding.. time to transfer my photos.. =)

sunday woke up at 9am and did my homework. at first i wanted to meet adel at 1330 and adel thought it was too early. then we changed to 1400. i went to white sands with the intention of buying something for moses, and i heard from YES93.3 in the shop that ngee ann city at 1400 was crowded!! and i was totally shocked. i miscalculated the time, coz i forgot that on sunday, tony leung was coming. and so i gave up buying the gift and hurried there only to see moses coming down from the stage. just like yesterday. and so we took photos again and cutie moses smiled at us again. and this time, adel captured a not-very-good photo of me and moses. can see that i reached his shoulders. not bad, considering that yesterday adel kept "suaning" that im short and i'd probably reach his chest only. we got our information wrong and came at such a late time. we reached at 1440 and his event started at 1420. luckily we were in time to send him back to his hotel. on the way, i asked moses "are you coming back later?" and he replied very softly "no.." as he shook his head and smiled. moses remembered us! coz the two of us were like some mad fans walking with him. then as he was walking back in, i called out to him "moses! byebye!" and i waved to him and he waved back to me!! and so that was the last time i saw him. then we went into the hotel but couldnt find him. so we headed to cine's yoshinoya to write our card to pass to moses. but we didnt see him anymore so we passed the card to the security guard, with hopes that he would pass it to moses. we went back to the starhub tent and we saw tony leung but there were too many people so it wasnt very clear. after a while he started his autograph session and we left to the VV drama booth. again. and i took photos of the artiste board. hahahhahahah. we tried our luck at the hotel again, this time we went in the lift with other hotel guests and they had the card to press the room levels. (heard from adel that without the card, others cannot get access to the room levels.) so we were at level 15 and the lady who was with us asked us who we were looking for, and we said we were looking for our friend. and she warned us to go down in case the serucity guards come to catch us. and so i was scared and we hurried down. dont play play... finally we went to cine's yoshi again coz adel was hungry and i wrote out the herbalists affair lyrics for her. i prefer the song with the version in my cd rather than the tv version. hahahhahaha. went to develop my photos. and laminate my flora photo. the lady said she also likes flora. and she likes kenix and dayu.. hahahahahahaha. anyway, i think i saw the newcomer flora fan, vanessa, at the function today. i was in a hurry so she didnt see me. ahahhah. my stomach's better now.
was thinking of visiting xianliang. even though he doesnt know me, i think i should visit him. shall ask if anyone wants to go with me.. its been a long but enriching and memorable weekend. utterly star-studded. here are my thanks:
saturday we took 36 back to school and realised that so many people ponned college day, and yang leng herself! ken kwan and huang zhen came and left. hahaahahha. okay we went to LT5 and waited for the event to start. then mrs yik came in and demanded the S1 classes to move to the PT. it showed how empty the PT was. then lee kheng hwa came and ordered the last 2 rows to move to the PT as well. LT5 left a few classes with people studying, talking, playing cards and sleeping. minghui, adel, vanessa and i were playing daidi. baba was sleeping and adel snapped a photo of him sleeping. paul chan and mr leong were talking and apparently didnt bother anything about college day. the only thing funny about college day was that the camera showed this choir guy singing with his brows moving up and down, as if he was trying to seduce someone. another one was when the cheering started, the lieutanent started doing the cheering handsign and we laughed.. other than that, it was an event to be missed. after the boring college day, adel and i went down to ngee ann city to catch moses. when we reached there, they were taking photos on stage. then after a while they left and we went to take photos. moses recognised us coz we were previously in uniform. and then ah mo was so nice again, he purposely paused the guards to pose for my camera!! ahahhaah come to think of it, the way i asked moses to pose for me was like how the hk press asked them to pose too. "ah mo, li bin arh, mm goi!" "ah mo, tai li dou!" they walked back to the hotel (meritius mandarin) and i asked him, "will you be coming tomorrow?" and he replied quite softly "mm yah yes.." before he entered the hotel, i told him "moses, see you tomorrow!" and he flashed the megawatt smile again.. so sweet!! oh yah and i shook his hands the second time! ahahhaha. realised that the other moses fans are less fanatic. they seem disorganised, unlike flora and jessica fans who have coordination. well, the flora and jessica fan is me. =)
after the chase, adel and i went back to the starhub tent and we went to the VV drama booth. there was this "guessing the actors" game and we lined up to play. each player was supposed to press the buttons of any 2 actors in the show that the person in charge asked. when i was my turn, the guy said "i was also from vj! 13 years ago!" and i just nodded and we started the game. note, that the game happened so fast that the guy couldnt take it: at night, i had a terrible stomachache and i vomitted out the po chai pills that i took before sleeping. auntie jenny took me to the 24 hour clinic which cost a bomb! $80!! it was food poisoning.. then i vomitted out the medicine and ate another dose and went to sleep. at 4am. i told adel i couldnt go for the sunday event. argh.
friday
was running late to send flora off at the airport. ran from the mrt station to take the sky train to T1. then later joanne received news that the previous information was wrong. so we rushed to T2. at T2, there were 2 flights to hk, one at 1700 the other at 1900. later we confirmed that it was the 1900 one. so we waited for her while chatting. by then it was erm 1655. so the information changes as follows: flora was wearing a black adidas jacket and a white halter spaghetti strap top, and carrying a small sling bag which was quite high up. ghahah. and as usual wearing sunglasses. she looks so cool in shades. =) after her check-in she walked to the counter to pay and we followed her. then she whipped out her blue mastercard and asked the receptionist "do you accept cards?" and i noticed she has a LV wallet which is almost bursting. after the payment, she chatted with us and hugged the mediacorp people and we gave her our gifts. i gave her a card. only. while the rest gave presents. she had too much baggage that yahui and joanne's big puzzle had to be sent over to hk by post. we took a group photo but i didnt manage to take out my camera to pass to them in time, so we used jernise's camera. the picture turned out to be good! ahhahah. oh yah, one unhappy incident, the fans were trying to block the jerk's videocam and the jerk was pissed, at first she was on the right side and then jernise and xinhui blocked her. so she ran to the left. i was somewhere in the middle and while she ran to the left, she knocked me, while xinyi simultaneously tried to block her again. so she was really pissed and shouted "oei!" and then she went up to flora and said "see what they did?! no manners!!" we all got shocked by her sudden exclamation and so did flora. but she pretended not to hear. hahaha i think flora also knows that the jerk is a very annoying and rude person. (when flora came last december, i heard her say "nei mou gam lar!" to her cos she pushed other fans in order to take photos.flora seldom scolds people.) after we bade goodbye, flora and ann went in to the departure gates. somehow they didnt leave immediately and the both of them headed to the counter inside. we guessed that they had to pay extra for the excess baggage. no wonder flora told us not to buy presents. coz in the end she had to pay for the extra things to be flown back to hk. erm as i was saying, ann was paying at the counter and flora sat at the chairs beside it. we were peering in from outside so we waited to see what happened next. then later flora stood up and went somewhere further inside and we couldnt see her. we guessed she went to change money. true enough, she came back with many notes and passed them to ann. the whole process took a long time and finally flora and ann left for hk. =( hope she will come back again.. i went back on the train with xinyi xinhui jernise and yuki. we were looking at the photo and badmouthing the jerk. i was a bit angry with her coz she came knocing into me and yet she had the cheek to accuse me of pushing her. hahahahha all of them are nice people. except the jerk. well, i wasnt close with the 2 newcomers and vivian. the three of them were quite distant from us. it was quite a rewarding experience especially seeing flora. sniff will miss her! i think she's sad that the mediacorp people left so early while the fans waited. coz after all the paying, flora looked out at us and was trying to locate her mediacorp co-workers. i rented a herbalist affair for adel. i dont watch the show, except that if im home, i will switch on the tv and listen to the theme song (by flora and andy hui) and then switch to watch vcds. anyway, the rental auntie is a nice person, she knows that i frequent her and always ask her about the posters in the shop. just now i asked if she can sell me the tvb desk calendar, which was displaying healing hands cast. and she replied that tvb doesnt allow them to sell. she asked whether i like flora or ada, and she promised to give me the nice flora poster if she has an extra one, or when the old one has to be taken out. =) still cannot find out about moses' arrival details. only know the flight code. and that he's coming before 430pm. if the flight is early i might fetch him then go for college day. if not, then i shall wait until sunday to see him. ahahahah. urgh. my eyelids are closing.
09:19 a.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY YIMYIU! yesterday when i went home on the bus, there was a madwoman cursing on top of her voice. she was holding onto something as if it was a handphone. when i saw closer, that thing had an antenna, which means it was a radio. and she held it to her ears and started cursing in hokkien. then occasionally on the bus she started speaking vulgarities and that really stunned the new passengers. hahahahah quite an interesting sight. received joanne's message that flora's leaving today! am so sad.. i wrote her a card which was full of rubbish. decided that im going for college day and going to see moses on sunday instead. wfwhahahhahahhahahaha. nothing to write le. shall update more after my last meeting with flora this year. ='(
12:25 p.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUO LAO SHI!
jessica and joe advertisement oh my oh my, another person spotted flora yesterday at far east.. haiz luck is not on my side. anyway, yesterday's handover was pathetic, only a few people came. there was a reception later (food from the western stall) and greedy grace ate 20+ potato wedges. mingjie gave me a water bottle, and zicheng gave me a windchime, so sweet! hahahhah. then yimyiu grace and i went to tampines to buy meilan's present. grace said something on the bus and i started to laugh non-stop hysterically, until i had a stomachache. but i forgot what she said. grace and i were at white sands where we got a pamphlet from magic wok and we went to try the food there (takeaway). and beside the magic wok restaurant there is a vcd shop. and they were showing around the world in 80 days. IN MANDARIN all dubbed. and it was HORRIBLE. it was made in guangzhou. no wonder. haahahhaha.
11:43 a.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TSZ SHAN! why? why? why is it when moses comes to singapore, flora's leaving?? why? aiyah hope joanne can give us news about flora's departure.. i want to send her off. and for moses, his arrival is probably in the afternoon, and the event is at 4.30pm.. which clashes with stupid college day.. his flight is CX717. but dont know what time. aiyah i feel so sad now. especially that flora's going back to hong kong. just when i felt that im so lucky to have almost all my idols in singapore, flora's going to leave so soon. probably this weekend, or friday. i want to see them.. boohoohoo. maybe i shall fake sick to see them hahaha. but that doesnt sound right. haiya shall wait for the actual details to come out first before deciding..
12:54 p.m. just now during physics tutorial, yang leng explained the analogue question but we didnt understand. on our way to the canteen we saw miss tay and yos went up to her to ask, and within minutes, miss tay explained it in details and we were fully enlightened. it goes to show how lousy yang leng is at teaching. hhahahah. went to buy mingjie's present yesterday at parkway. yimyiu weixin and i took a long time to decide what to buy for them. first time watching BF2 at 1045pm. am so not used to hearing the theme song at such a time. and to think i have to do the same thing for 3 months! especially when flora appears for around 3-4 minutes every episode!! haiz. yimyiu said if channel u dont receive good ratings, they have to close down. hope they close down. hmm heard that ah mo's coming to singapore this weekend! to promote for starhub cable tv i guess.. ahhh! i want to see him!! i'll try to dig information about his whereabouts. ahahhah oooohh im so excited. do you think moses and flora might meet up since flora's in singapore now? high chance. ahhaiaahhaha.
01:27 p.m. some interesting things i observed at the wake: at the wake everyone was upset and especially the aunties. then when they saw how amanda held the joss-sticks as if she was holding a lollipop, all of them started bursting into laughter. i was quite upset yesterday when popo was cremated. every now and then i think about it and i will start to cry. realised i have so many pictures to save and yet the fanfics are not updated!! haiz.. im broke now. and bored. all because of channel u. argh.
12:21 p.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAZREEL!
i decided not to complain. waste my effort. besides, channel u wouldnt care about the audience's feelings anyway. my maternal grandmother passed away yesterday. this is dedicated to her: wah am having a serious headache now. thinking whether i should go for chem R or not, coz the pain is getting worse every minute. read huiling's email about the guanwei meeting. seriously, i have no interest in doing anything pertaining to CO already. it has become a totally different feeling altogether. the guanweis have accused us of borrowing instruments without an official letter and accused us of bullying our juniors. truth is, we did write a letter and it was wesley's own fault by lending the wrong instrument. of course he had to take a cab down. it was purely his own fault, do we have to pay the cab fare due to his mistakes? anyway if we were there at the meeting we would have rebutted all these false accusations. but well, since they didnt have a good impression of us, it doesnt make a difference with our presence. my favourite junior, kelvin, is the new dhsco chairperson!! yay!! hope he wont be bullied by the rest of the guanweis, especially the tj tby group of people.

12:25 p.m. today was one of my bleakest day in school since school reopens. read from u weekly that BF2 will be shifted from weekdays 7pm slot to mondays 10.45pm slot. am so terribly disappointed in channel u. they change timeslots like changing clothes. didnt they consider how viewers feel? dont tell me that they changed because viewers dont like the show. i dont buy such ridiculous reasons. they have no right to change their programmes just to satisfy that group of viewers. to put it straight, it all boils down to ratings. even if the ratings of the show is not as expected, it is still not right to shift the timeslots here and there. and put another show on the 7pm timeslot. some people may like the new show. but thats not my problem. the main point here is that they should finish with BF2 and later continuing it with the new show. previously BF2 can be finished within a month from now, and now it takes 4 months to finish the show. by then im already taking the a levels. and its shown once a week! okay fine, never mind the late timeslot. im really boiling now. CHANNEL U SHOULD GO AND REFLECT UPON THEMSELVES WHETHER THEY ARE SERVING THE AUDIENCE OR AC NELSON. im not watching channel u shows anymore. unless they show my idols' shows. and they'd better not try to do anything funny. as for this incident, im calling the company to complain. and im serious.

06:01 p.m. yesterday i started re-watching ue2. ahahahah. went out with sexhons. dear yiling, thanks for your well wishes! even though you couldnt come, im still very happy that you remembered! thanks a lot! okay back to what i was writing, we went far east for lunch at a japanese restaurant and yimyiu grace and boon gave me my presents, which were a roxy wallet, a pair of star earrings and two cakes! (erm plus a NKF card, which they said it was a surprise. hahahah i got the same card at the mrt station too..) thanks! =) we talked a lot and later we went to meet minghui for busking. the busking was a big flop. the audience was made up of vj people. and the passers-by probably didnt know that there was a performance going on, or they didnt bother to care. when meixian was singing, this little boy walked past and asked his parents, "this is singapore idol arh?" and then they started dancing mass dance and we quickly walked away. it was embarrassing to dance at orchard with millions staing at you and furthermore, dancing with a bunch of geeko and brainless year one SCs. so we moved on to paragon and their performance was okay, except that nobody was watching. haiz anyway it was a disaster. minghui said vanessa was dancing at plaza singapura and so we walked there to meet meiqi. but when we reached there her dance ended already. we went shopping at ps and meiqi bought square pegs. hahah but we couldnt find dif4. then we went suntec and shopped again. i think everyone bought something. was like a shopping spree. walked until our legs were tired. stupid bus came sooo utterly late that i waited at the bus interchange for half an hour. was almost late for the psc show. anyway, jace sang a seriously old song and i was surprised that she sang that song. had a hard time transferring things from my old wallet to the new one. am alone at home now. struggled with the computer just now. was intending to do homework but no mood. argh. got to bathe. the charity show's starting.
11:20 p.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DENISE! got back math paper. just like a bomb dropped from the sky. my score was the lowest math score in this year. argh. quite a number of people failed in the class. i counted, in every single page, there will be at least one circled sign that says "careless". i have 8 careless mistakes in this stupid paper. and each mistake cost me at least 2 marks. i could have got a much higher mark just because i was careless. vivian was utterly depressed. saw him sitting in the canteen and staring at his friends eating and he didnt have the appetite. haiz.. stupid computer lab had to close early so we couldnt use the computer. seriously, if it wasnt for flora and jessica and yaoyao, i wouldnt bother watching burning flame 2. its a gut feeling. jide(wong hei) is good. yaoyao (jenny) is better. yinyi (maggie) reminds me of qingjia in the awakening story. xingtian (kevin) doesnt have much to act in this show. totally wasted. tang ming (alex) acts well. but he is not good looking. and his character is not likeable. yan (yoyo) is the worst among all actors and actresses in the show. expressionless, childish, and her constant pairing with alex in other shows makes me sick of watching them together again. nanfeng (kam tung) reminds me of mou long in ACOM. but he's funnier in this show. xiangyang (annie) acts well. she's one of the better actress in the show. not that im biased, but given such a strong cast, why do they have to invite guest stars to the show? flora and jessica could have acted as other more meaningful characters instead of wasting their talent in this overcrowded show. michelle (flora) has very little screen time and her character as a third party could have jolly well been acted by other characters. she acts well but her character and screen time limits her acting skills. ling (jessica) has the least least screen time out of all the big shots listed. less than 10 minutes in the whole 35 episodes. and she appears as a memory. all these can also be acted by another actress. the reason the directors include them is to increase viewership, considering that flora and jessica poll in more viewership than the whole cast can do. i was thinking of writing an essay about the trends in tvb and tvb dramas. but it'll take me some time coz i have a lot to blabber on. now no time. the year one SCs are a bunch of brainless people. especially the SDD adhoc. first they gave us some survey which they didnt take into consideration. then they charge us some sky-high prices for a round table. and they have to charge the same price for a table of ten when we have only 9 people. means we have to pay for the empty chair and empty cutlery. this is madness. and what rubbishy theme? vintage! the clothes probably cost a bomb and plus the stupid table cost 90 (and now 100)per person. i could have bought 2 sets of vcds. DIF IV vcds are out, according to eileen. should i buy? coz i got tape the show. but i missed 2 episodes due to class chalet that time. haiz. no money.
03:22 p.m. chokkie said half of our class failed chem, and the highest grade is D.. this is bad. aiyoh no matter what, i'll still be in chem R.. am now in computer lab transferring photos. my classmates are a nice bunch of people! they gave me a shirt as my birthday present! thanks guys! =D i intend to finish my transfer within 2 weeks.. anyway, there's nothing nice to write nowadays. prelims are starting in 2 months' time. everyone's been going home early so the library seems empty. no more anticipation. aimless days have resumed. =(
10:41 p.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZONGXIANG! last saturday there wasnt any family dinner, but auntie jenny and i had dinner at swensens. then i continued watching square pegs. on sunday after the movie i came home, and yet nobody was home. then i became bored and started watching family man again. and looking at the screen captures of TGUIT, i have the urge to rent them to watch. today i finally finished cutting ALL my newspapers. my granfather's 3rd younger sister is coming to singapore from hainan island on wednesday. she'll be staying at my grandparents', my uncles and our home for about a week each. i have to brush up on my hainanese skills le. =) sigh tomorrow is wednesday's timetable. and i have no more holiday anticipations. maybe saturday when i can buy my wallet. dear meiqi, i read whatever you told me to, and i realised how arrogant this person is. and that person's utterly vulgar and he thinks he's the only perfect guy on earth. you're right, reading whatever he says makes me puke. so dont bother about whatever he says. just be yourself. with this attitude, that person is sending himself into his own grave.
01:48 p.m. watched the best bet with adel just now at tampines mall. we caught the earliest one at 10am and there were only <10 people! anyway, almost 3/4 of the show is conversed in hokkien and i understood it by reading the subtitles. chris is way to civilised for an ah beng. mark is the typical ah beng and ah nan is the typical loanshark. the front part of the show is funny, whereby mark lee imagines his face on the notes. but the most irritating part is that all the scenes that richard low gobbled up the money are all imaginary!! equals to that whole incident didnt happen at all!! so irritated. i hate this kind of shows with imaginary events that happen as a dream or an imagination. apart from this, the show was nice. =) after the show, we went shopping for adel's jeans for a while, and i acidentally spilt the ice lemon tea on the floor and i was utterly embarrassed and i ran out to wait for adel. the shopkeeper saw the spill and looked out at me and i saw it and ran to hide somewhere. fwahahayah. was thinking whether to buy my vcds soon or not, coz i finished with square pegs and have nothing nice to watch. yesterday i re-watched life in the balance and i finally found out in which show flora said "take it for granted", coz i kept recalling that she said that somewhere but couldnt remember which show. fwhahhahhaa.
04:12 p.m. on thursday's class outing (or rather 8 of us on an outing), we watched spiderman 2 at lido. almost the whole cinema was filled with jc students. im sure there will be a spiderman 3 coz a lot of things were left unsolved. not revealing much, watch the movie and you'll know fwhahahah. cut my hair yesterday. i think it is too short. now my hair is wavy and i dont like it. boohoohoo. gu jie's going to hong kong. i placed my orders through her to buy my idols' stuffs. a pity she's there for 3 days only. somemore it will be during the weekend. i wanted her to watch AHOL and TGUIT.. speaking of which, i caught TGUIT advertisement and i was so happy.. and the sub theme song of TGUIT is very nice!! but the one that i have below is only less than halfway. hope i can find the full song. square pegs is a very nice show. ah wong (roger) is very funny. i think ah fong (jessica) is very witty. erm the whole show is interesting. the theme song is melodious. the only baddie is baobao's nephew. and if you count pui kwan as one. ahahhaha. ah wong and lo por zai are undeniably the best tv couple for year 2003. aiyah my vocabulary is very limited, especially after the block test. everyone is feeling bored after the tests. including me. the dinner is cancelled and it's going to rain.
