dont feel like archiving yet so i'll just leave it as that.
celebrated germaine's birthday 16 days in advance on 1st. =)
and then watched a boring movie in class on 2nd.

because the yesasia stuff arrived on saturday (4 boxes arrived on the same day), i received germaine's stuffs and mine.
her beyond cds, my movie vcd, 2 books by erica lee, and On's newest cd.
(ps. im glad i bought On's cd through yesasia because i saved about S$5 and got it earlier.)

have been reading one of the books received, titled The 38 Degree Celsius Blanket (obviously loosely translated).
i dont like the main character in the book.
coz i think he is very selfish.
but anyway i havent finished reading it yet because only 268 out of 415 pages read.
tacky character name and tacky personality.

not including this, i have about 8 books untouched.
and 5 books not mailed out.
to a special someone.
havent write the card leh~~

dislike wednesday's lessons this semester.
am always glad that wednesday is over for the week.
korean lessons are cool.

went airport today after school.
20 minutes late and therefore missed kevin.
didnt bothered me at all for missing.
but i felt quite guilty for causing germaine to miss.

took photo of kate and subrina, and got an autograph.
that was pretty it.
i quite totally lost the kick and passion for chasing artistes.
maybe it doesnt work if the artiste is not my favourite.

went popeye's after that.
i also dont know why i came to the airport.
but we had a super duper long chat session, from about 6pm to 11pm.
we can go on and on and on......

now that i no longer work there, i recalled both times i worked at the airport, and realised.
the airport is most charming during 2 particular timebelts:
1. after midnight. when it is calm and serene.
2. moments just before sunrise. when a glimmer of hope shines through, and you smell mcdonald's breakfast.

east asia concert cd preorder. out 11th.
lady cop & papa crook preorder. out 20th.
US version or HK version? region 1 or region 3?
buy one or buy two? vcd or dvd?
have about 2 weeks to make a decision.

not very sleepy.
took out On's "the songs, the film and his autobiography" DVD.
watched "the retrospect".
damn cool directing, editing, and DOP by papajay.
wonderful interviewees.

after saying that i was temporarily mad at him for talking too much, i took quite some time to erase the thought from my mind.
didnt want to be pissed with him for so long because i want to watch the DVD.
so im not angry with him now.
in fact the DVD reminded me why i started liking him.
the power of Andy Hui's songs.

he's not a bad person to start with, and he's actually very nice.
sorry its 3am and im lacking adjectives to substitute the word "nice".
but i try my best to not think of the so-called third party figure.

love Mi's rendition of 唯獨.
love the phone concept of the whole interview.

1st real moment: dicky's surprise appearance at on's shenzhen concert
2nd real moment: dicky and on running in the rain from the ktv towards the car
3rd real moment: ..............

一个星期之久，
从未一次真正开心过。

一直告诉自己别哭，

许多因素造成现在的我。
不知道将来有什么事能够使我重拾。

我觉得自己是个超级烂透的米饭。

一向来是米饭的我，在去年开始喜欢on的歌。
说真的，我是爱屋及乌。
心里也一直暗存些少希望他们能是彼此的幸福。
（ps:都是王子公主害的。）

去年某月某日，觉得on有点多嘴，似是务必让全世界知道，炫耀一番。
那时我曾怀疑自己对on是否三分钟热度，觉得自己并非很支持on。

今年一月近日，又觉得on太多嘴，说话模棱两可之余，还带有自吹自擂的感觉。
这时，我置之不理，没当它一回事。

两个不同时间，两个不同事件。
两个相同的人物。
却是两个完全不同的反应。

因去年那件事，我曾不喜欢on一阵子，因为我觉得他完全没有顾虑mi的感受。
动摇了一阵，结果又继续支持on的音乐。
相继又有接二连三的复合传闻。

因今年这件事，我反而没有反应，纯粹当成是媒体的炒作。
结果，因为germaine的一句话，我醒悟。

on这次给予mi的伤害比去年的更大。

为了宣传，不惜用复合传闻来称赞自己：
不封后路，不知道明天吃什么，不需要定心丸。

我竟然忽略了这次on的话语背后的暗喻。
我竟然忘了我的爱屋及乌原理。
也就是说，mi比较重要。

现在的我又在动摇：是否白买了on的cds？
也许我不是真正的喜欢他。
我是因为mi而喜欢他。

但亦同时，我非常嬲我自己，竟忘了自己的身份。
米饭。
忽然觉得惭愧不已。

难得几经困难找到了真正的男偶像。（继烂滚钟的假象之后）
结果，他却中伤了我最爱的女偶像。

是时候反省自己对男人的审美观。

watched lcpc for the 4th time on wednesday.
seeing germaine's post, i suddenly recalled i placed all my ticket stubs in my bag, but couldnt find them.
le sigh.
so now i have only one.
i must have accidentally threw them away with the stupid max payne ticket stub.
=(

anyway.
i figure im going to spend a bomb on online items.
i finally found some rare items that i was looking for a long time ago.
such as a life of his own VCD, and looking for stars VCD.
(i actually taped looking for stars, but my tape with episodes 9 to 12 was spoilt during the transfer. dang.)
and then i just recently became a fan of erica li（李敏）'s books.
bought another 2 books from yesasia because kino's stocks are out.
and pre-ordered On's newest compilation + new songs.
and very soon im pre-ordering lcpc DVD.
the version with the alternative ending. =)
so yes im almost broke.

taking out stitches tomorrow.
supposedly cutting/dyeing hair sunday.
woohoo korean class monday.
le sigh asian cinema class monday.
part time assisting research tuesday.
tv studies class tuesday.
le sigh tutorials wednesday.
dreaded wednesdays.

first week of school was crap.
went for crappy classes (actually only one class is crappy).
waited eons for the inefficient workers to tear down.

on the bright side, i finally ice-skated!
have been wanting to iceskate for ages but never had the time to do so.
aiming to learn to skate backwards the next time.

went to the doctor, kino, taka, wisma, mrt station, back to kino again, shaw, and then to vivo.
finally bought "in the name of...", but its the second version.
it seems harder to find "in the name of..." as compared to all of On's other capital albums.
it's the opposite for Mi's case.

school = sianz.

christmas was very fun at the chalet.
27th was fun at ktv and some hilarious revelations at starbucks.
29th was free ticket day, with a whole lot of frenzy and zero battery.
welcomed the new year watching lcpc for the 2nd time, spraying randomly in the field, and tonning at mcdonalds with truth or dare.
2nd was dhs homecoming and bowling. the school looks hideous after the renovation.
watched lcpc the 3rd time yesterday.
and decided to blog today.

because today is the last day of my school holidays in my uni life.
i realised i can only do housework when im alone at home in the day.

i actually have a lot of thoughts but i cant remember them all.
during the bowling session on friday, there was a couple who looked like professional bowlers at our neighbouring lane.
the man bowled a turkey (ie. 3 strikes in a row).
which then made me thought of edgar and margaret (the characters in a novel).
i cant believe how much i actually liked the novel, even though the storyline is a bit tacky.

after watching it 3 times, we can already memorise it.
only waiting to watch the 4th time in cantonese, and then to buy the dvd in february.

initially wanted to write a review to scream at the climax-less plot, prc actors, slicing off the whole chunk of pregnant scenes and kate tsui's horrendous acting, and at the same time praise the wonderful audio mix, foleys, original soundtrack, pretty good camera directions and scene transitions (editing), and Mi's splendid performance.
then i decided to give it another chance to explain the plot again to myself.
i was about to write a full 20-page essay for the review. but nah, no time to write reviews.

surprisingly it gets better the more times we watched.

2008 wasnt a very good year.
but it definitely taught me lessons.

january - may:
internship.
an experience.
newfound friends.
hardships, annoyance.
gossips, laughters, facebook.
and the parties.
a journey i wouldnt survive without my friends.

june:
newfound friends.
birthday.
im surprised we went through so much and so far within barely six months.
and im glad to know you all.

july:
my last true holidays.
because december wasnt counted as a true holiday.

august:
start of final year.
start of final year project.
start of many plans.

september:
realisation of plans.
went genting.
it could be more fun if it wasnt so rushed.
Show Mi Again 2008.
first time travelling to watch a Mi concert.
was a blast at the concert.
first time standing on the chairs.
first time i ever got so close to the stage.
Mi was awesome.
she remembered our tee.
:)

there will be MIracles when you believe in MI.
