这一年，载满了许多快乐的回忆。
同时也存在着伤感的时刻。
整体来说，2007年是个重要的一年。
它见证了我的成长。

january:
- my computer's power failed.
- started a tough semester with newswriting and accounting.
- joined the fun spectrum team.
february:
- was online at the same time with Mi.
- took up astronomy and i regretted it as soon as i got the stupid C+.
- 愛情萬歲!
march:
- Mi craze soared as i struggled with myself whether to buy the Show Mi tickets in hk.
- spectrum days increased as i spent more time in spectrum than anything else.
- anxiety grew as i panicked when i couldnt find a decent trend story.
april:
- camped at the avid with the pratas and "fair enough".
- eventually bought tickets for day 7's Show Mi.
- but decided to sell it off.
- changed my blogging style slightly, coz i had too much time to take pictures after exams.

- gradually decreased the number of entries due to inaccessibiliy of computer.
- last day of july i was totally exhilerated about Mi coming to singapore for Show Mi.
august:
- first day of august was full of anxiety, as i bought the tickets for Show Mi, and i had good seats. after which had a fun game of mahjong.
- start of year three.
- was busy from day one of school up till november.

september:
- spectrum. film studies. video I.
- return of my computer.
- started the obsession with 王子公主。
october:
- singapore Show Mi month!
- 13th was one of my favourite days. one of the days when i was truly, truly happy. because i was able to let go of everything else that was around me, for that precious 3 hours.
- busy with every single subject.
- month filled with all kinds of emotions, from elation to depression.
november:
- final project.
- exams.
- preparation for china trip.
december:
- china trip.

- was quite lost.
这一年，我写了好多中文，好多粤语。
开始爱上用粤语来写字。
很明显，今年的我伤感的次数异常多。
是我21年里，最缺乏自信的一年。
i almost fainted again on the train this afternoon, on the way home after going to the temple.
i feel so old.
体弱多病。
在不同的阶段，有着不同的烦恼，不同的伤感。
今年，我思考得特别多。
是好事。
2007年是个难忘的一年。
再见了，2007年。

想着想着，不禁感到害怕，感到迷惘。

papa bought another 4 fantail goldfish on saturday.
one died a few hours upon arrival.

they edited it out during today's repeat telecast.
昨天和karen, kennise and ah pok约好去看戏。
吃了碗面，玩了bishi bashi，就刚好7点。
《投名状》!

电影从头到尾，我的心是向着二虎的。
也许，他不该认识庞青云。
最心痛的一幕，必然是二虎一心想去救青云，却...
《投名状》挺不错的，终于成功看了一部華仔的电影。
之前一直嚷着想看《兄弟》却不成事，因为想看的是粤语原味版。
这次《投名状》，庆幸也是原音。

我现在有太多小钱袋，却没有钱放进去。
ah pok送了一只有双下巴的老虎仔给我。
我买了那部dvd+vcr，花了我$499。
还差一条cable。
现在我有太多包包了。
还有太多糖了。
不过我很开心，有很多美美的糖罐。
昨天在澳门，实在难得。
有点怀疑他们有没有偷偷看自己的故事。
怎么那么巧?!
昨天的Mi靓爆了。

超爱我现在的wallpaper和display picture。
yesterday played mahjong with boon cui and yy. i thought i was going to lose big, because i was the first to start to use the pencil. in the end i lost $1.70. hahaha but it was very fun! first time we played 8 rounds, and also the first time to end the game at 8pm! after the 8 rounds we were all super chui-ed. but still, fun fun fun. =)
realised i will need the vcr in my house urgently. i need it this saturday. thus, i went causeway point in search of one. im still considering. if it's a yes, then it'll solve two of my problems at one go: the saturday's urgency, and my initial wish of getting a converter for all my tapes.
finally made my way to mantown, with 1563 updates waiting for me. not much news, but there were truckloads of downloads, i only managed to save four, and there are 22 more in the queue. actually i decided to clear my reading archives today, because there's another event tomorrow so i dont want to accumulate too many.
the game on the AGS website is damn stupid.
no matter who you choose, you will still lose, unless you have super fingers and eyes.
haha go and play the game here if you have nothing to do.

讲真，自从我上次mass update之后，我就冇上到文坛去update

一：病，所以懒。
二：文坛嘅好处就係畀到你去check你喺最后一次上黎之后
嘅新updates。坏处呢，就係如果我心痕痕想去睇下一两则新闻，
咁之后佢唔会帮我keep住我未睇过啲嘢。所以咁，我费事洗咗
我嘅阅读纪录，选择唔上文坛睇。
三：原本可以去安文路update架，但係次次上去都係忍唔住去睇
王子公主先，之后就冇乜mood去追返成半个月嘅新闻。
四：有返mood去睇嘅时候，就偏偏又有hacker上咗安文路，睇到
一大堆唔相关嘅字，咩mood都冇晒喇。
其实我睇都有好多阿Mi嘅新闻架，只不过。。。

met up with the girls today. yay we are going to have a one-night chalet! =)
hopefully by then i will recover.
i dont want to spread the germs to everyone.
much as i dont want to say, i still have to say:
FYP woes.
am getting worried because i heard some groups have started preparing for theirs, and here i am being a sick lazybug.
but i cant do anything until we have any ideas for our FYP.

star awards 2007!
this year was an unexpected derail from my usual routine. last thursday my block's electricity got cut off temporarily for checks, and after they resumed it, my starhub set-top box died. so starhub replaced another one yesterday. just now, i happily found a usable tape (happy that i saved the money from buying a new one) and wanted to insert it, then my vcr jammed! craps the electricity cut-off spoilt both my starhub box and the vcr.
in conclusion, i didnt tape star awards.
this year was better than last year, in my opinion.
firstly, no more st.james! thank goodness. its back to the good'ol studio.
secondly, the return of sharon-san.
sharon was one of the best hosts in mcs.
haha if she eventually comes back i want another 城人杂志!
thirdly, the whole top ten male segment was super sweet.
out of the ten, 7 of them acted with wenfang before.
seven 老公s!
but the most annoying part is during the lip-kiss, the vision mixer cut to jack neo.
overall, im happy with the winners. i think they deserve their awards.
EXCEPT...
the best variety special award.
of all shows they gave the award to last year's star awards.
and to think last year i bashed the awards like nothing.
other than this silly segment that im not happy with, the rest are good. even this year's post-event party was better. no more unimportant "superstar" people hogging the stage.
according to yy, she says last week's one was nicer. but alas! i have no vcr to watch the tape she recorded for me on. so in conclusion, this year's star awards was definitely better than last year's.

wanted to rewatch something but am kind of tired of rewatching.
maybe shall watch 深情密码。haha.
i watched 2 episodes in nanjing.
oh i forgot to mention that the china channels were showing a lot of tvb shows at night.
was damn excited that they showed LFD. haha.
but too bad i cant find the channel that was showing

im back!!
basically the moment i reached there i wanted to come back.
uploaded my photos into the computer but havent sorted them out for posting.
caught a cold during the last 2 days of the trip.
by the time i came back, it evolved into a throat infection.
thus now my voice is hoarse.
yesterday after arriving back in the morning, we had macdonalds breakfast at the airport.
breakfast in china is bleah.
came home and enjoyed the warm weather (warm compared to blistering cold china, even though it was drizzling in sg).
and then went online to read 王子公主.
it only hit 49 pages. =(
(but it hit the 50th page by the end of the day.)
replenished my sleep after that for a whole 9 hours before sleeping again 5 hours later.
slacked a bit today, but did some housework.
and updated myself with all the Mi news that i missed in the whole 9 days.
there were 2432 new replies in mantown.
there were 874 new replies in sc.
i just downloaded 14 clips.
3 are still downloading.
1 just refused to load.
and also gazillions of photos.
havent downloaded the ones from on.man.road.

Tuesday, December 11, 2007, 11:35 p.m.the china trip will be separated into their respective days. not much of pictures or words, because i feel the scenery of each place looks similar to one another. basically the moment i changed locations, i forgot where i went in the past few days.
in general:
weather:
the weather was blistering cold. those 寒风刺骨 type. it was the first day thus everyone was not used to the cold. during the whole trip, everyone's favourite place was the bus, where the temperature was warmer than everything outside. well, except during times when we had to take long rides to get from one place to another. also, the sun sets very early, about 5pm or so. before it hits 545pm, the sky will be as dark as 745pm in singapore.
people:
not that im mean, but most people there are really ill-mannered. they spit as and when they like, they do not bother to say "excuse me", "thank you", "sorry" or any words of that kind. and they love to push people.
food:
every single meal (breakfast aside) was rice plus 8 to 10 other dishes. initially it was alright, but as the days passed we got kind of bored. and the food wasnt that nice anymore. but one interesting thing is that for every meal we had beer. beer helps to keep the body warm.
DAY ONE

mahjong! but these people make no sound during the whole game. which is weird. and they play 鸡糊! so lousified. even we dont play 鸡糊.

side story: we went to an imitation goods shopping centre, and gujie had her eyes set on a "samsonite" luggage. then the whole tour group came to the same store while we were there, and then they started looking at the goods. in the end our whole group wanted 5 luggages and 8 "prada" handbags, plus a few others, so we started a singaporeans vs. chinese nationals haggling war. we won!! ahhaa. the basic fun of haggling successfully.
DAY EIGHT
Shanghai -> Singapore

the pudong international airport. not as nice as i'd expected.
two of my purchases: sweets! the two small tins are bought from the airport minimart; the middle one was bought in hk last year. this is the exact brand of sweets i was looking for, but i bought some others too. this is still my favourite. but my aim of buying is the tin, not the sweets inside. haha.
so that's about it for my china trip. mostly similar scenery, so i wont elaborate further. wished the shanghai part could be longer. not exactly fun, there were a lot of hard-sell stops like jade, tea leaves, chrysanthemum, silk, medicine, etc. i succumbed to half of them. other than that it was just scenery. the 寒山寺 trip was very meaningful. shanghai is very modernised compared to other areas. even the sunset looks different. but overall the trip was alright. =)
