its on repeat mode on my itunes now.
the full lyrics arent out yet, but the lyrics contain 15 other artistes' names.
the song is saying that everyone is unique, regardless of status and position.
haha but of course, the title "Mi" is already unique to sammi coz Mi is Mi! haha.
im monitoring my auction the whole day. im still in a dilemma. anyone has any advice to offer?
mopped, swept and mopped the whole house today. i finally realised my full-time job is a cleaner at home.

hk yahoo auctions is so stupidly strict.
they must restrict one handphone owner to have only one account.
so i had to use sailo's number for my counter account.
and i have to pay for some silly publishing fee, which is ridiculous coz the singapore one doesnt need at all.
argh i want to slap the hk auctions management.
yah back to my dilemma.
how?? i have only myself to blame.

went for guanyue gathering at my junior's house. i thought it would be quite a huge group of seniors, but in the end, our batch was the oldest there. as usual, the suonas of our batch came in full throttle! hahah. was a bit awkward coz i dont really know my juniors, and its been ages since i last went back to dhs, which was for organising 2005's gongyan.
the old people (aka us) were eating, talking crap, and playing blackjack the whole night. thinking back, i realised how old we are, and it has been 5 years since i graduated from dhs, and tonight, we are back together talking crap, gossip, and updating on each others' lives. we dont seem to have changed much either.
before meeting them, i went to tampines to collect my magazines. 9 heavy magazines! i realised i dont really read tvb weekly anymore. i just flip through them to find pictures of my idols. the nice shopkeepers kept 3 magazines with sammi on the cover for me. yay!
and i bought LFD vcds!!! thanks jessica for informing me. =) i bought them without any consideration of the price, because ive waited for them for one year! haha but ive watched the show a million times. so the first thing i did when i opened the vcds was to watch the last episode, to see if they used version 1 or version 2. apparently they used version 1, but i prefer version 2. even meiheng and sheren preferred version 2. maybe scorpioeast used version 1 because it was easier to capture. im really glad to have both versions. =)
ive placed my darling tickets on hk yahoo auctions. on one hand, i hope someone bids till a very high price. on the other hand i dont even wish to sell them in the first place! such nice seats (confirm can shake hands), nice date, nice venue, nice concert, and able to buy the limited edition cd. haiz its time to plan for the sleepless-in-hk getaway properly.

i swept the floor of my house 3 times today.
because of the rain, the clothes are not completely dry, and they give off a weird characteristic smell which stinks.
cleared my room, and started aligning my planned book of mi's writings. its so tedious to format everything and arrange them.
sailo is in favour of me selling away my tickets.
but a huge part of me still desires to go.
the sleepless-in-hk getaway might work if i plan everything properly.
im just afraid to fly alone.

i want to rear a pig! was rewatching DIF4 with sailo this afternoon. when we saw this scene about kong-sir giving tong sum a pig, i started gushing how adorable it is. haha if im rearing a pig, i wont slaughter it to eat.
then again, its highly impossible to rear a piggie in singapore, because the moment you leave it alone at home, someone will steal it. and when you come back, your pig is on someone else's dining table, cooked and ready to be served.
anyway, im kidding about rearing a pig. i'll probably need to sweep the floor 10 times a day if a piggie stays here.

喇喇声去urbtix的网站，Show Mi尾场已经开始热卖了。
能够留住的，最靓的连位已经到了第12行。
心里十五十六，唔知应唔应该再买。
问了joanna 和jasmine 的意见，最后决定不再购买尾场的票。
应该算是走运吧，下午去了邮局回来，老豆问我他那HK$998跑去哪里了。
我诚实地回答，好彩他没有骂我。
不过，红馆一游，想必已泡汤了。
我曾经想过，瞒着大家，一个人飞去香港，然后隔天早上飞回来。
这样，如果我顶得顺，可以省下酒店的钱，在机场过夜。
好一个不眠之旅。
结果，反复思考后，觉得呢条桥唔work。
所以，我只好难过地跟我靓靓的票讲bye-bye。
而家最头痛就是要想办法将限量发行单曲CD拿到手。
haiz。好难过......
我劲钟意的《孤男寡女》。
这两盒砌图总共花了5个星期坐船来。
我等到花儿也谢了。
结果，只用了半个小时拼凑它们。
哈哈真的不过瘾。
本来想买个框把它们框上，但是没有合适size的框。
现在，庆幸没买，因为它们刚好能放入A4 size的folder。
今天真是喜忧参半。

结果终于在晚上听到。
之前受到一些挫折，自己也稍微觉得难过。
看着外头下着大雨，我似乎也想和老天爷一起哭泣。
但是，家的神奇魔力，真的好厉害。
一到家就什么都忘记了。
家庭萬歲。
考完试了，可是没有感觉特别开心。
可能是挫折的影响吧。
不过，之后还是相当开心啦。
当然，看了《男亲女爱》后更快乐。
终于等到它的重播。

i had a peanut dinner.
porridge + fried peanuts with ikan billies + sauteed peanuts + peanuts in tomato sauce.
all the peanuts came from the cans.
hurhur.
i forgot to take a photo of it.
so i used a photo of my free garfield face towels as a substitute.
the towels are so colourful; they make me happy.

i finished watching a place of one's own. it was quite okay, the plot is quite expected, but there are some funny points in it. i found it hilarious when louis yuen's character scolded mariane's character: "you are not a horse", which he later said in cantonese: "你唔係呀吗...". mariane's character, foon hei, is very cute in the show. meiheng's character, keikei, is just a pretty vase in the show, and there's nothing much to develop in her character because she only appears at the beginning and at the end. overall quite a nice show, except that i dont like lawrence ng. haha.

have been logging in and out of the urbtix system since 830am, because i didnt know whether it opened at 9am or 10am.
i managed to get row 9 tickets!
i only bought 2, but i dont know who to go with yet.
hurhur.
worst come to worst, i can sell off my tickets to other fans.
heehee.
am so happy i managed to get tickets via internet booking. =)
the thrill of getting them is so shiok that i kept reviewing my transaction receipt.
now, going or not is still another issue. =P
popped in ts for a while, since its been quite some time i last went there.
they have "new" shows released: "new" as in newly released, coz the shows are considered old and the "newest" is better halves, shown in 2004.
the really old old shows (the kinds that yimyiu always says i like to buy) are all in a basket that stated "sale".
i caught sight of a place of one's own vcd from the corner of my eye, and started digging the baskets like the aunties.
only two left. haha. and its really cheap when the last time i saw it was selling at $54.
hohoho. ive waited long enough for the price to drop, and i thought $19 was already very good, so i bought it!
the show had two of my favourites in it: meiheng and mariane. =)
hahahaha.
yay. now i have two items striked off my wishlist. =D

yesterday's telecast was actually the iconcert.
i was still hoping for the mini concert.
celebrated yiling's birthday at cafe cartel.
food was yummy and the girls' talk was fun!
missing meiqi. hurry come back after your exams!
anyway my eyes werent closed. they are just small.
just now i was triple-tasking.
watching hk film awards, studying accounting, and recording sammi's interview from rthk.
this year's film awards, or 金像奖, was male domination.
90% of the people who won were males.
even the genres of movies nominated were mostly about the guys.
父子。放逐。黑社会以和为贵。霍元甲。满城尽带黄金甲。伤城。墨攻。
even though these are big names in the recent movie industry, i cant help but feel that the hk movie industry is declining drastically.
the two lead and supporting actresses awards went to china actresses.
the prime years of hk movies has passed, and its hard to get back to the past glamour, especially with the stars of the times gradually stop acting.
the hk movie industry is in the face of being 青黄不接.
but im quite happy that lau ching wan won the lead actor award. =)
his victory proved that the movie need not be a big name to clinch a recognition.
caught sammi's radio interview which lasted for more than an hour.
thankfully the webcast for rthk is quite smooth, except that it stopped for a short while somewhere in the middle.

his writing style is the kind that i've always wanted to write.
because he is an air steward, he has so many interesting events happening in his life.
and the photos he took are beautiful.
i want to make my blog like his.
but my life is not that interesting.

the sound mixer that we've been fiddling with for the past month in avid. but i prefer the studio sound mixer.
another day added! now there's 7 shows (18 to 24 may). official announcement is coming monday. maybe 25th will also be added.
im still short of 3 more episodes. look at how different they looked then.
channel u is showing dream of colours after hard fate. every shot of meiheng in it is absolutely pretty.
the new theme for my handphone that i made. was looking through meiheng's photos, and i couldnt make up my mind on which pictures to use. all are so pretty.
lazy to write so here's a picture blog entry. but it actually took up more time than writing. we started with headphones, so we shall end with earphones.
the past few days were crazily busy.
a life of his own is getting nicer. too bad it takes about 3 hours to get half of a VCD episode. had astronomy quiz. did my accounting tutorial. i'd probably only completed the first and last accounting tutorials' questions. super drained out.
i dont know whether to be glad or not. mi's going to malaysia for show mi concert in september. date not confirmed, but trip is confirmed. glad because i'd most certainly be able to go, if its held on a less busy weekend or during recess week. glad because i didnt buy tickets for the hk concert.
but not happy because i'd prefer to watch it in hk than in malaysia. aferall, mi's most comfortable in her home country. also, i feel a bit embarrassed coz ive been asking around for a companion to the hk concert and now i think i wont be able to go. the malaysia concert is like an excuse for me to not go hk.
it'd be best if mi can come to singapore since she will be just a strait across in malaysia. but, timing and ambience-wise, may and hk are still the best.
shall see how things go first. life is full of uncertainties. if you are not a full throttle 米饭, dont bother going with me, coz i dont want to "force" you to pay for and watch something you dont really like.

the online session with nikki was good. but nikki said one of our sound effects is considered music. so we searched for other effects to substitute it.
the BP room is a nice place to chill out, just that it gets quite cold sometimes, and the sofa is very tempting to sleep on. i finally got my cutaways into the VT server.
episodes 4 and 5 live recordings were alright. i was studio director for episode 4 and sound for episode 5. my interviewee last minute couldnt come, so i kind of wasted my time with the cutaways.
the moment i reached home, i plonked onto my bed and fell asleep. papa came into my room nearing 1am and woke me up to bathe. extremely exhausted.

its back into the avid to get the final timecodes. the spectrum script for episode 4 came to us very very late, and i was still adjusting the format and adding my shots at 5 plus. rehearsal was quite okay, except that the scripts werent finalised yet.
tvbj has been very nice to me. last week they showed mi's singing competition. this coming saturday, they are going to show her 1999 concert. i dont know if its the iconcert, or the mini concert, because it isnt stated in i-weekly. but anyway, im still happy about this saturday's screening.
i found someone on hk yahoo auctions selling row B and D VIP tickets for 22nd. but they are terribly jacked-up. HK$1000 per ticket for row B, and HK$800 per ticket for row D. rows A to D are VIP seats in front of row 1. but no one seems to be willing to fork out extra money, or go to the concert with me, or both.

3. watched 第7届新秀歌唱大赛. sailo saw it and said mi was so plump back then.
4. did housechores.
5. finally found the floor of my room. after finding it, i realised how hideously dirty it was. so i cleaned it up.
6. found out that flora is pregnant. the news came out yesterday so im not late. so now meiheng and flora will be mums this year.
7. saw a piece of news that said mi might be having her wax figurine in the hk madame tussauds. i once said i will not go to madame tussauds anymore after going there twice, unless there's a wax figurine of mi. so... hopefully by the time i go hk (i dont know when) her figurine will be already completed. she should be in there long time ago.

Friday, April 6, 2007, 11:09 p.m.was super tired after so many days of being in the avid and coming home late. papa drove me to visit my grandparents in his taxi. it's the new sonata taxi which looks like a merz taxi, and the interior is gorgeous! :D
watched the legend of the eight immortals at my grandparents' place. popo asked where jace disappeared to, and i replied her i dont know. hurhur. come to think of it, i havent heard anything about her for a long long time.
went to the supermarket with gujie. was buying shampoo when i saw the promotion that colgate was having. buy one tube of colgate and get a garfield face towel!! with 4 designs to collect!! i immediately bought 4 tubes. the towels are super cute! =D
the music display for my msn has finally worked. i dont know why it always didnt work, but a few days ago it deleted my personal message automatically and just now i turned on my itunes, and voila! it worked. haha weird.

avid, accounting tutorial, 203 tutorial, biz law tutorial, avid. i didnt have time to do tutorials anymore.
we were racing against time to finish the sound design before 11pm. coz we couldnt do it on friday and we wanted to complete it before the online session on tuesday. we managed to complete the cue sheet but still needed some refinements on monday. we were breathless and panting even after we left the avid.
downloaded a very old video from mantown. oh my goodness. that video is the classic of classics: 镇金女人周记. the show is a series of short stories, and the episode i got is about first loves. it was with sammi and andy acting as lovers! it was soo sweet~ they seriously didnt look like they were acting. i think it was shot around 1993.
definitely an episode worth rewatching. =)

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY KIAYING!
we were in the avid from morning until 530pm. nikki said our shots are good. =) we more or less finished the picture editing.
after that met up with our usual group to celebrate kiaying's birthday. hurhur i waited nearly an hour at the mrt station. thankfully there was my trusty ipod with me.
we found an italian restaurant at holland village that had a very elegant and cosy ambience, except that it was a bit dark. and we went in by the back door! we didnt know, and i was looking around for people to welcome us and take us in. i called for the waitress and she led us in, and it was only then that we saw a bigger door at the other end. -_-"
the food was nice, kiaying became happier, and we had fun talking about so many stuffs. yimyiu ordered pasta with squid and black ink, and she ate until her whole mouth was black! she looked like she was poisoned, and she got a shock when she realised how dirty her mouth was when she went to wash it. =)
Monday, April 2, 2007, 11:07 p.m.i havent been updating for a few days. does anyone of you really understand my last chinese post? coz upon reading it again, it looked kind of vague if i hadn't a clue to it. but anyway, its supposed to be vague, so dont bother deciphering it, because if i wanted to be clear i wouldnt use just 240 words.
shall archive tomorrow coz im lazy today. okay backtrack. friday was a whole day of filming at canteen 2. we reeked of canteen 2 after staying inside from 10am to 4pm. i wouldnt say filming was smooth, because there were a lot of times i was very frustrated over decision matters, and at one point of time i really was quite pissed off. but since it was over, it didnt matter anymore, and hopefully we dont have to reshoot.
was getting tired easily these days. i slept almost the whole saturday away, only waking up to watch the awakening story (pun unintended), for dinner, and at night did some work.
went out for some shopping on sunday. havent been really browsing the items at stores for a long time. metro said they cannot refund the extra shirts we bought for filming, but can exchange for other items. so i bought 2 tshirts for myself and a shirt for papa. actually i'd prefer getting the money back, and metro's clothes arent exactly nice. but oh well. i figured some tshirts would be good so heck.
watched MLESG at night. they cut off the beginning praying scene. other than that everything's the same as the actual movie. but the synopsis on scv for the movie was unbelievably off! i think they just anyhow whacked up a story plot by themselves.
so many people are selling show mi concert tickets on hk yahoo auctions. im not sure if they are reliable. but no thanks to them for buying all the tickets and reselling them to fans who couldnt get the tickets at a higher price. especially recently, when so many artistes are having come-back concerts at hk coliseum, more people are selling and buying the yellow cow tickets (i.e. 黄牛票). im not buying from yahoo though, but i might consider if people at mantown are selling the $480 ones on either dates except 18th, coz usually first shows are not really good.
im going to just rattle on. think this week is the last week of lectures. i was so excited when i flipped this week's issue of i-weekly. tvbj's showing 第7届新秀歌唱大赛 this saturday, 330pm! ive waited so long for it. that was the very first stepping stone for mi in her singing career when she joined the competition in 1988 at sixteen years old. i was only 2 years old. sailo wasnt born yet. this year is her 19th year in the industry. so must watch! i like watching these super old shows, while trying to recognise people i know.
getting real tired nowadays. around 11 plus is my threshold sleeping time. after i pass that i would be quite awake. so just now i napped for 2 hours after watching the last episode of making miracles, and then waking up to watch the last episode of the legendary four aces.
the very ending of making miracles was urgh. ignoring the obviously-fake visual FX, ending the show with the staff attending to patients is fine. but alas! after that scene they cut to a shot where all the cast members were lined up and turned to pose for the camera. really quite redundant to use it for the very last shot. and i totally dislike endings that have the cast looking at the camera. with the exception of kindred spirit, because having the full cast together is very rare.
the ending for LFA was nicer. woah i managed to follow every episode of it for 52 episodes. i have a date with avid for the next few days of the week.
