I want something else

Semi-charmed kind of life

Went to chinatown in d.c. today. It's not all that interesting. Each time I go downtown there are always a lot of weirdos. Luckily I'm never alone when I go downtown. Chinatown is pretty small, not that many gift shops, and it only spans about three streets.
Someday I'll go to the one in San Fransisco. That one's purportedly absolutely amazing. Though I do concede that the arch in dc is very pretty.

Groovy! My uncle gave me his old camera. It's a Canon QL FT, (not expecting you to know what that is) but there's a ton of information on the internet about it. Which I find surprising since the camera itself is about 29 years old. :) The only problem is I'm afraid to take it anywhere really, like the beach or to DC. That and I don't know how to load the film, since it's 'quick loading' ^_^ and the box is in chinese, and doesn't have any manuels. But otherwise... :P
The camera itself weighs 1 lb 10 oz. Heavy!?!

Yo! Haven't been on in ages. Things haven't been going so well, but that's entirely a whole different story.
Been doing some research on web bugs aka scripts and such that websites use to track what you do on the web. I see them as a souped up version of cookies. You can read about web bugs here, and a list of sites that use them here.

After one helluva stressful semester, I've decided to go into reclusion. Honestly! I have 5 days until the summer term starts. The plan is to get completely plastered tonight. And spend the rest of this week ALONE reading Dante, Midsummer's Night Dream, Invisible Cities, and rereading Happenstance. I s'pose I should start learning mysql so i can help a friend on a website like a promised. Anyways, the point is I'm not checking my email...for atleast a week. So if it's urgent, hopefully you have my phone number. Cheers! ~duckie Oh yeah, sorry to the people who were waiting on some AMZ help stuff. I'll do that when I get back next week, despite the fact that I'm trying to make my motto "Now, not later". Dizzy! Three hours of sleep, seven hours of working on a paper, four hours of testing. If only brains could implode. Actually, I think they can. Meningitis can lead to a mild case of implosion. But that's not what I was thinking of. I've had two friends contract meningitis, and from their accounts, it wasn't pleasant. I was thinking more along the lines of Junior-year-itis. Bosh.

Hehehe, I feel silly, but I've been writing the most important thing to do on the outside crook of my thumb, and it's doing a good job of reminding me. I look at my thumbs a lot more than I thought I did. Weird!

I don't want to be a pie! I also don't want to comment my prog! :S
We're studying Kant in ethics right now. I find his ideas terribly interesting, but hard to digest the first few times around. He's supposedly considered the most important philosopher of modern times. Yet, I think society took up much of his ideas. -jat-

The irony, I think, of being sick a lot is that you want to get better just so you can function in life again, while when you're not sick, you can get to the point where you want to just stop functioning and just chill.
