We attended a meeting yesterday night for the jap exchange students and we got our travel insurance info and other stuff.. I can't wait to go...!!! Be leaving perth on the 9th of January. Cant believe Im not gonna be here 4 my bday. hope i can chuck a party in osaka..

Here's some of the info I got yesterday:

- Your host family has volunteered to participate in this program out of a genuine desire to share a cross-cultural experience with you.

-Before you leave for Japan find out a little about your host family and take a small gift for each of the family memebers as an expresion of thanks.

-A futon is a mattress that folds out onto the floor. Every night you must make up your bed and each morning you must fold it away, putting it back in the special cupboard provided. The futon is usually folded into three sections. All of the quilts and sheets must be neatly folded and placed in the cupboard too. Ask your host family to show you what to do and follow their insturctions carefully. Don't look at this as a chore. It is part of the routine of living in Japan.

- Take great care that you do not appear to be arrogant or rude in your refusal of food.

- Make sure that you do not have your feet pointing at anyone while you are sitting. It is considered rude.

- With few exceptions, bath time is in the evening and you will proably be informed when it is your turn. First of all you should wash yourself OUTSIDE the tub. Please DO NOT jump into the bath with soap, shampoo and conditioner!!! You must use the small plastic or wooden stool to sit on as well as a plastic bowl for washing. The idea is that you sit down and use the basin to pour water over yourself. Only when you are thoroughly soaped and scrubbed and rinsed should you even think of entering the tub! You may then relax in the hot bath - and be warned that Japanese baths are very, very hot! My mum asked me what you do if you have a period. Hahahah let it leak out? That will stump my teacher. Do not let the water out of the tub. The idea of keeping the tub water clean is so that it can be used by everyone in the family without wasting heat or water.

- In Japan you are likely to encounter oriental toilets, especially in schools, train stations and public washrooms. They are nothing to fear - they are as equally hygienic and easy to use as western ones! Don't stress - simply lock yourself securely in the cubicle and take your time. After making the usual adjustments to your clothing, put your feet on either side of the toilet and swquat. Watch your aim!!! Then gravity will usually take care of the rest. In some places it is not felt necessary to discriminate between the sexes as far as the provision of toilet facilities is concerned. It is not a source of embarrassment. FINALLY!!! An ideology I can embrace!! >.< If this is a problem for you, however, hold on and just keep searching.

- In private homes, separate slippers are always provided for use in the toilet. Many a foreigner's face has reddened with embarrassment at the shocked looks of hosts when he or she has inadvertently wandered back into the living room while still wearing the toilet slippers.

Blowing your nose - only do this in private! Sniff unobtrusively until you are alone!

I called Xiao today and she said she also had a dream bout me and Shinhwa. We're like laughing over the phone cos it was a bit of a coincidence [see entry below]. Apparently, we were at a Shinhwa concert and tried to get backstage to meet them after. They were'nt in their dressing room but then one of Shinhwa walked past the door and I fainted. Xiao got an autograph for me and I was happy for the rest of the day.

Oh did I tell you! I finally completed FFIX!!! yay! Melodies of life is such a sweet song and...yeah... I loved the ending where Zidane and Garnet get back together and when she throws herself towards him and pounds him on the chest cos he left her for so long ...well... it was sweeeet as... I wanna play the game all over again..

Hm...haven't seen Jacky for a while.

YEah like i said in the previous entry about WILD EYES... the much anticipated video wasnt that bad but it was spoilt for me all thanks to constance who said all about it so there were no surprises... >?<..but thats all right because as least i managed to download it and the HEY COME ON video as well...doing YOO SEUNG JOON-WOW at the moment and waiting for the slow connection to speed up a tad so i can go to sleep. Yes, dong wan still is sechshii seeing him move like that, and smile like that. Have I ever seen him like this before? I think not! 0.o I so wanna meet him and cuddle him and have a pic with him and ....*could write a whole list* of cos i would wanna meet minwoo and eric as well...not sure about junjin though because his hair kinda loses it for me now..=( Hey come on had minu flipping and flying around, thats about all i can say for that one and the fact that everyones faces look so pale. They don't make videos like they used to. Should have the ones with some sort of story line to it and a GIRL! ahhh a GIRL! and please please please can't wannie just be featured once,,, i mean i think everyone has except him...*sniffle* so unfair...

Oh oops,,,did i go overboard with the kpop there? YSG is downloaded 37%...aiyah... too slow, but then its going 4k/s. YES!!! xiao is coming over tomorrow, more girl chat, goss, VCD's, and mucking around...havent' done that for a long time.

Me, Constance, caro and jo were going to go to play baddy at school and sit outside the junction waiting for 'M' of mingdong and...yeah...need i say more? Having fun and bumming around and photos and.... so many disappointments..i call constance and she says she cant make it...oh well.. theres always next week..but i was going to go to the city with frens today and postponed it till next week cos of this and not this is postponed till next week as well so i have to totally cancel the city thing! hmmfft!

Today I had this weird intimate conversation with my kid brother. I wondering after you read this, what kinda impression I give you of the relationship between me and my bro. >.<

Cindy: ERmm... long pause Chung.

Cindy: Dongwan.
Foo: I dont think you know how to speak korean.
Cindy: Johnathan?
Foo: I dont think he likes to kiss.

Foo: He's too old!
Cindy: Aw! Thats so mean! What about Michael?

Foo: looks around as if in deep contemplation, comes to me and whispers in my ear I don't wanna be rude but I think he's gay.

Cindy: erm.. ok

Hahah...well I'm anticipating seeing the Wild Eyes (Shinhwa) video clip but I can't dl it yet Constance... but its better than Hey! Come on rite? Whats with ysj all of a sudden..maybe i should check him out myself.

Finally completed third disc of ff9! Start 4th hopefully by tomorrow! Yay! and the story is reallllly starting to move and get somewhere I mean...wow...its really good, even my other bro Tim stopped his tracks and watched for an odd 40 mins (which he hardly ever does) and the whole time i was playing i had to read for Foo because he cant read that fast yet, plus he's only 7 anyway. Zidane is a genome? (boo..gave it away)thats just wow! who would have thought that he was from Terra I mean... Zidane is so...not like those mindless people of Terra with no souls and stuff. HE was created for the soul purpose of being more powerful than Kuja so that he could destroy Gaia...for Terra. Well...things are starting to get pretty hot and serious. I reckon he should have more of those intimate love making moments with Garnet eh? My opinion anyway.

Haven't blogged for a while. It's because my server is down. I swear it was there a couple of days ago, maybe more, and now its gone. *sigh* So here's my third layout. It's a simple one of a pic someone drew (currently un-named). I call my versions really stupid things. Don't ask me why... 'Don't Cry Baby' is just something I thought of at the spur of the moment and its not hard to guess why I call it that if you have seen the now-famous SHINHWA concert vcd. Guahahaha... my wannie baybeeee...

You know, I really have to thank amei for lending me some webspace. I really thought I was going to get skunted by people not being able to see any pics on my blog. Well it took a while but yeah. ARIGATO *HuGz*
