In drawing a Chibi!Keiichi and Neko!Kamui to vent my frustration at what Kouri is doing to poor Isaac in WYWM I managed to squick myself.

The oddest thing is...I did it while drawing hair.

You see...Keiichi's hair looks an awful lot like Yuuto's hair. And ya know, they're both so perky and happy...wouldn't they make such a cute couple? I can just see them walking around, holding hands, smiling...agh. ;-; I need to stop myself.

Other news today: watched ONE! (count it, one) episode of Hikaru no Go. ...yeah.

And I am also slowly becoming a rabid Keiichi fan...mostly because of my lil theory regarding him and Kamui's kekkai...but still! He's just so...COOL! Must...make...Keiichi....layout....

In a fit of insanity last night, I began to download the first episodes of Hikaru no Go and Prince of Tennis...and I wish my computer would go faster, so I could see more soon.

(of course, I also realize that I still have three episodes left to see in Star Ocean EX, I haven't watched past episode six in Chobits because my screen freezes, and I'm still at about episode 14 of Inuyasha because I started watched it during a fit of bordem and haven't finished...but what can two new series hurt?)

And you know what? I've realized that when it comes to my friends I'm a very networking person. Example? I really think you would love to meet this gal at my school, cuz she could draw you the bitchinest fantasy maps.

and now...I'm going to work on Fuuma and Sorata, because the masses demand, and I am an attention slut.

Went out to the mall with D-chan today. Yaya ^_^

There was much plotting of ficcage and even some drawing. ^_^ I likes hanging out with D, she's such a cool person, and she helps so much with ideas and stuff. There was also much talking about my Fuuma theory in the previous entry, which is really smoothing itself out now...and very much lending to lots of opportunities for new Fuuma interact and Fuuma angst. Yay for Fuuma angst!

Speaking of interaction, of my Weekday fics (which're on CLAMPesque and ffnet by the way, hint hint) I figure Sorata and Fuuma are going to be Thursday, and I have some really good ideas for how they're going to bounce off each other, though it's going to be really hard to keep Sora from pulling his kekkai up and catching the attention of all the other Ten no Ryu...but I thinks Fuuma has plans for stopping that (and as he should, cuz this is strictly two charcter interactions)

And rargh...fandom just confuses me, rargh. In fact, I confuse me lots too. Cuz I be nice to all sorts of people, and I know that my ulterior motive is to get recognition, but never works quite right, and I'm never really unhappy about that. I dunno, I think I just like being the silent support behind people...and I like being thanked. That's good stuff, as is cookies. *nibbles on one*

...being an actor has such an odd effect on my writing as of late...it's like, the characters I write about are no longer just drawings on pages, they're people. They have feelings, experience sorry, joy, heartache, frustration. There's motivation behind what they do. They have reasons for their actions and they use different tactics to get what they want. Each of them has their own quirks, their own patterns, and habits defined over years and years of use.

Some of them might be trying to change things about themselves, change the way they think, get through a current situation trying different methods. And in that respect, they're all very much the same as any person you could see walking down the street...they just happen to have come upon a certain situation that makes them so much more interesting.

And then...there's a big issue of respect, which I was talking about with Becky a few nights ago, and I think the main reason that I respect my characters, why I never wnat to do things that are against the way they would act or how they woudl respond to a situation is because I see them as people inside my head.

...anyways, case in point here is this: I've been on a Fuuma binge all day long. I scanned through volumes 11-18 of the manga for some actual good pictures of him, and do you know what I realized? There's more to Fuuma than everyone thinks. So much more. The guy is just so complicated it intrigues me...and so sad too, but he keeps on trying to cover it up...it's interesting...

I wonder if anyone ever thought what a burden it must be for him to be able to see everyone else's Wishes. I mean, it doesn't seem like some sort of skill that he can just switch on and off. He knows what people want...and then there's the time that he personifies that want. I mean, what does that do to him, as Fuuma?

Granted, I'm a bit biased here, but I keep on getting flashes of Hisoka from Yami no Matsuei, just the sheer pressure of all the wants of all those people must be just like what Hisoka endures with his empathy...and probably the only real time he can be himself is when he's alone...and I think to some degree, when he's with Kakyou...but I'm not quite sure whether that's from a commmon bond as far as their Wishes go or from the fact taht Fuuma's adapted himself to Kakyou's personality and Kakyou's wants...and for the sheer fact taht when he's in the dreamscape, there's no one there but him and Kakyou, no noisy Wishes clouding things up.

And why did he save the girl in Ebisu? I mean, yes, she wanted to live. But what is that important to Fuuma? Why would he save a girl from all the destruction simply because with all her heart she didn't want to die? My suspicion is that maybe Fuuma thinks the same, that he knows destiny is rushing at him like a bullet train, and maybe, just maybe if he tries saving others, that means there's hope that he can be saved in the end, and maybe he won't die. But then, it's either him or Kamui...who would be more afraid in that situation? Kamui's already admitted that what he wants is to have the old Fuuma back...and if Kamui dies, Fuuma's Wish will be fulfilled....but I don't know if that woudl really entail bringing the old him back...because this is really getting me to pondering exactly who Fuuma was compared to who he is now.

I think the only time we really see the change is in that precise scene in X8 where Kamui makes his decision. But after that...Fuuma flip flops. Sometimes he's nice, sometimes he's downright nasty, but a lot of the time he's just reacting to the Wishes of people around him. So why doesn't he react to Kamui's Wish like that? I just want to wonder, why is it that to Karen, Fuuma will be Aoki, to Subaru he's Seishirou, to Yuzuriha, he's Kusanagi, but to Kamui, he's not Fuuma. There's only one point in time I think where he is, and that's in book 11, and he's never gone back since then.

Must be hard on the poor guy...geeze.

And since I've really just rambled a lot...I think it's about time to cut this short...and sheeze, it's 3am, I need sleep.

...odd thoughts bubble in my head when my inspiration is gone...

If everyone's so concerned about minor characters getting attention...why is no one reading my weekday fics? ...just curious about that...granted, they're short little snippets, but I originally started them just to kind of give a neutral point view of all the different characters... but huh. People are so strange...that they are. Just...so weird...hmm.

Anyways, tried to work on my one existant Seishirou/Subaru story yesterday...but unfortunately exactly when my inspiration's about, Seishirou doesn't want to be channeled, and it's kind of very necessary that I do get a good grip on him for this. There's just that something about him that I need to use, I call it elegance...or style, he's very stylistic...Seishirou could be an artist... (and in original fiction, Kouri made him one ^_^)

But yeah, not getting involved in any blog war, cuz that's my policy, but I'm just so interested by this one...it's so funny how people react to these things...and suddenly I feel very detached from the X-fandom, but ya know, I really don't care. If I'm on the outside looking in, I can make comments and watch people like they're just little mice in a cage...

I have now cleaned up my side bar so the blog linkages are current, names are changed, old icky nonexistant blogs are gone, some new faces are up, and now the links to images for past layouts and my desktop actually work, rah. Wonders what I can do when I'm bored.

Went to the library today with my little brother, which is intersting just in and of itself...but I don't know why. I wound up checking out three uberthick books on the Civil War for a History project and about five other books on kites, cuz that's what I'm doing my informative on this year in speech, yay me. And on the way home, we got ice cream. ^_^ I got a strawberry sundae, numnum!

And anyway...I should go back and keep on working on the picture I am doing for you, even though Isaac is just being a poody head as far as I'm concerned. (and I should mention, you are a DAMN lucky gal, cuz right after I had done my first save on the pic my computer crashed on me, so you very lucky it was saved then, very very lucky)

I really need to stop staying up late, it does nothign good for my sleep schedule...for example, I did not notice it was one in the morning until I started typing up this blog ^_^;; oi.

Umm...so, went to work today, and then came home and finally started drawing Isaac and Lucian from her fic. And just so you know Kouri-chan, they're almost all the way done, Isaac just needs a head. I should probably have it all nice and scanned up and colored sometime tomorrow, so I'll send it to you then, because if I send you the pencil sketch I will never get around to sending you the finished thing, trust me on that. And m'sorry I went disappeared on you tonight ^_^;; I was up in my room trying to figure out how to draw Isaac's pose...and I would like to say foreshortening is a bitch.

Why: I needed to do something with my Devil's Trill manga, and Hisoka refused to have any part in it (thus, the only part he got was him being torn to shreds)
Notes: Photoshop gave me hell on this one, and I hate it because of that. The alignments were off so I had to go back and redo my cuttings of the image and stuff and it was just blah. But I think it turned out nice.

Why: It's part of a series, really, and Setsuka's just too damn pretty for me to do nothing with her.
