I finished reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last night. Damn, it was great. Those books just keep getting better and better. The last chapters were so intense, tragic and intriguing I had to keep bracing myself so as to be able to read it without blubbing like a baby. Sadly the 6th part will be out only in 2006, which seems yonks away right now. Oh well...
Anyone heard any TV on the Radio? By the sound of this article, they seem like a substantial newcomer. I'll probably be glowing about their status as my favorite of the week soon enough, being the scenesucker that I am [/incredible self-sarcasm].
Questionably one of the best sites ever... Anavy sikim!
I'm hooked on Tetris.
We're talking two way monologues with words that rhyme

Lord how infatuated I am again with Sondre Lerche. Wow I had almost forgotten about him but then they started raving about his new music on the radio. Sondre is this 21-year-old megatalented singer/songwriter from our good old neighbour Norway. There's a variety in his music, but to this day my favorites have been the sunny tunes such as Sleep on Needles or Modern Nature. Doesn't surprise me one bit that one of his greatest influences has been The Beach Boys. He's on tour now due to his new album Two Way Monologue being finally released, but disappointingly Sondre is only doing Norway, Canada and USA for now. Yes, and the kid is cuter than...eh, most things.

Franz Ferdinand audio extravaganza; Don't mind if I do.
I hear there's a video out there, in which Mr.Nicholas Valensi of this band called The Strokes is humping a groupie, back in the day. Not to sound pathetic or anything but yeah that would seem like my kinda porn. So any further knowledge on the issue this way, please.
Shout Out Louds at Tavastia. Anyone from Finland going?
Hooo yea. We just saw the final episode of Friends season 9 here. Who knew that show could be so intense? I mean the ending where Joey went to Rachel's hotel room to kiss her after witnessing Ross smooch with his ex. With Interpol playing in the background. Yeah I guess it was Interpol that brought the intensity. Cool.
I'm so craving mozzarella salad. So bad that this morning I actually prepared myself the perfect fix. Vinaigrette dressing, scrunched up basilica, everything. Only thing lacking was the actual cheese but it was still good.

My favorite of the week; The Stills. give them a listen.
Bored? Might as well Smack the Pingu then. 1st click and the penguin flies, 2nd click and the bat swings; genious and so addictive. My high score so far; 587,6.
Boring yammering on shoes for a change, for don't we love them heels, us girls; Why does everyone hate the Blahnik Kiddies? The shoes are basically Converse chucks in stiletto boot form. And I though they looked so fine. I even thought the rip-offs were pretty as hell. Those fashionistas hate the Okla boots too. Kinda makes me think, is there something seriously wrong with my sense of shoefashion?
This picture of Nick Valensi, his girlfriend Amanda DeCadenet and her daughter has been shaking up the strokes -people just recently. Well no wonder really, when you look at it in the "OMGomg are they actually fucking next to the poor kid?!" -way. But personally I find it a rather cool picture. Obviously it's all pose, and although I dislike Amanda, the thing that would really make the picture for me is if Nick was actually looking at her while she stares away absentmindedly. Also the mini-Amanda looking at the pictures on the fridge [the past] while mommy and Nick are embracing each other in the other room [the present/future] has a cool contrast to it. Sorry for my incoherence but I really like that picture now.
While I was writing the entry, I saw Reptilia on MTV for the 1st time. Good god, what a great moment. I've found my niche for the coming months of that video being played on mtv.
T in the Park. Check the line-up. Book a flight to Scotland or die of bitterness for not being there.

How indie are you? test by ridethefader
You're really enthusiastic about the music that you like. You attempt to discover your new favourite
band every week. You continually try to get your friends into the music you like, which annoys the fuck
out of them, but you don't know it. At least you're not arrogant about it.
You are the Consummate Hipster.
You reign hipster supreme. When you walk through a room, you get noticed (and not just because you're wearing sunglasses inside). You know denim jeans and leather bombers will never go out of style, Don Delillo is bigger than Jesus and all dietary needs can be supplemented by coffee. Newbies bow to you, everyone else just stares, as you swagger down the street with "Little Green Bag" stuck in your head.
