Hello. I just spent an entire week without good music, the internet, tv and make-up. I think I'm traumatized mostly for the lack of music. But I'm back home and it feels great to be on a much needed vacation. I get to study a fuckload of books for my upcoming final exams, customize my old clothes because I haven't got money to buy any new ones, smuggle my mom's wine bottles away since I haven't got any money to buy my own booze, and download loads of music since I haven't got any money to buy new cds. It's a lot nicer than it sounds, really. Still, I can't wait until I get my first paycheck of the summer so I get to do better stuff than this. And somehow I need to party like it's 1999 all of this week before I start working at the library next monday. It's an exciting life I lead for sure, and I know nothing about anything else right now.

"This is 'Hard To Explain' and I'm getting married."
Two fucks in lust? After the many trials and errors of Le Casablancas lovelife, many a young hearts will be left broken shattered for Julian and Juliet have supposedly announced their engagement. Forget Colleen, Regina and such, we all knew Juliet would bag [at least] one of them, eventually. Congrazzies to the two of them, may your marriage be long and joyful. Fo'reel.

The lucky bride with some dude she used to bang. Maybe.
And these virgins talk about groove and make it sound so credible

Yar, I'm an addict. Most recently Paradise Hotel, green olives, tequila and drinks based to it, reading lyrics. I feel like eating all the time, too. I read Sophie Dahl lost a lotta weigh when she drank cupfuls of green tea and lemon water every time she got hungry. Would that work for me? I'm tempted even tho my BMI is perfectly balanced. The bikini season is getting closer, see.
Yes! Atchoo! I love The Killers! It's no wonder since the whole damn blogosphere is all about them these days, but they are actually real good too! Now I've been rocking my winamp to more of the mellow kinda tunes, anyway, since it's been raining like hell and I've been kinda tired of everything. So, lots of acoustics, Sondre and The Shins. Make me feel really happy when it's pouring. Who doesn't get happy via Sondre?
OK so Gwyn+Chris=Apple? A funny, sweet name but just way too Hollywoodish. I thought Chris woulda been more down to earth but then again, it's Gwyneth who squeezed lil Miss Martin out. But honestly, it's not this bad, is it? The nappies video just totally crashed my computer tho.
What the heck is this site and how did someone access my blog from there? I'm puzzled.
Well it's true that we love one another...

WHOA. Stop press! Libertines Lovechild as told by the UK tabloid.
Shiiizzzle. I really really want a mickey mouse sweatshirt. I know they're all the rage right now but they look so cuuute!
Nothing else right now really. I'm antiupdating this thing again right now due to an identity crisis after reading much cooler blogging.
Indeed it may seem that we have strange ways

Just showing some love for the best band to come out of France in lightyears - PHOENIX. They have a great programmed radio at their site, I'm giving it a listen right now. Phoenix has a way of coming out with great singles, but I think now they are finally starting to really break through. Their music is classified as indie pop (I think it's perfect for summer), and they record for the same tiny label as Sondre Lerche, Source. Speaking of Sondre, can't wait for his soon-to-be visit in Late Night with Conan O'Brien! And I just noticed Sondre kinda looks like Jude Laws' little brother. Not bad at all.

You know there has been a brilliant party out there when you have a thousand mental spasms just by looking at the pictures; MisShapes in NYC and Miss-Shapes in the UK.

YEAH! The summer has officially begun here in the ice coldness of Scandinavia! The sun was shining today with the intensity of 23+ celsius grades. Now, one doesn't have the faintest idea of what that means in the good old fahrenheits, but it was pretty nice outside for sure. Too bad we have to suffer a whole day inside the walls of the school building before we get to enjoy the heat.
For my happiness/amazement I've learned that the keyword that gets most people in my blog has finally changed from unintended.pitas to Nick Valensi! And if that was not enough, in a google search for Nick Valensi, you'll find me on the 6th page already. YES, 6th page. My goal is to climb to the 5th page within a month, harharhar. So everybody, applaud the guy on the right and at the bottom of the page. He makes me popular.
I was sad to hear my favourite blogger to envy, Miss Modernage has decided to leave blogging. Oh well, course of life, yadda yadda. I found something new to read at the same time, Karenplusone. The fact that this lady hangs out with rockstars and that I just basically want to morphe my life into her's is enough for me to keep up with her scenester life.

OMG there is a fabulous music site out there! Or at least I find it fun. Musicplasma. It's nice to see all your favorites are related one way or another. Radiohead has the biggest ball in my league, it seems.
Gee, someone overdid it this weekend. Real badly. So now I'm on the first days of my alcohol-free month. Wish me luck, my last attempt didn't go all too swell. But now I think I got what it takes.
You drink too much, makes me drink just the same

Err. It took so long for Pitas to get their act together again, I've forgotten all I had to say. almost.
Thanks for Atchoo, I'm reading Picture of Dorian Gray now. What an excellent book! Wilde can put so much ideas and philosophies into the 20 first pages it's breathtaking. And yes I'm thinking of Dorian as Nick Valensi, lookswise. Even tho Dorry is supposed to be blonde according to the book.
The Franz Ferdinand cd is gawdamn amazing! I give it 4½ out of 5. I dunno why they shortened Dark of the Matineé to just Matineé for the single release but man, that song kicks assizle. And the video! Saw it for the first time last night when I was watching Room raiders [another stupid mtv show that comes way too late and I get addicted on]. Great moves those boys have.
Been listening to Muse b-sides, extras and acoustics a lot lately. The acoustic version of unintended pretty much kills me with it's beauty. Well the song in general does. A while ago I mused about it reminding me of cutting ice cream slowly with a knife that has been warmed with hot water and licking the knife carefully yet absentmindedly afterwards. Yesterday it brought me images of someone cutting their wrists and the blood trickling away softly underwater. Fucking creepy, I think. But a lovely song however. Learned to play it on piano.
Humm. Tomorrow I get to drink and party the night away, hence it's May Day Eve. Big nationwide celebrations are always a good thing to have. Also tomorrow our ice hockey team will play against our dearest archrival, Sweden. We might get our white asses beaten. But at least we can drown our sorrow in booze during and after the game...
The World Championships always remind me of how addictive that game actually is at it's very best. Also looking forward to the football (soccer) European Championships next summer. YAY. I love football.

I'm so bored. Like, so bored. Digging seriously the cover art of The Vines' Winning Days... can't wait until I get my hands on that piece. Had to reserve it from the library tho, as the Franz Ferdinand newie. There's not much to do when you're a poor student whose money goes straight to pay the cell phone bill and down one's throat. Roughly said.
The Hives scare me for some reason. You should've seen the previous version of their homepage.
I've discovered that The Sounds plagiarize The original Sounds by using their name. Just flip through that site and you'll find their whole discography. Tsk tsk, Maja and boys. Heh and I'm cool with the fact that I'm probably the only person in the world who finds this even slightly riveting.
I know you like the roll of the limousine wheel

So ten years it is for Kurt's memory. And for grunge's, too. But did Courtney do her husband in? Who knows, I doubt Courts does anyway.
Tv on the Radio band blog! Not that similar to the Phantom Planet one but nonetheless entertaining. "I just ran my life through an echo pedal".
Chris Martin on the future of Coldplay and the song he made for Johnny Cash. Sheesh, what it would do for the career of an ex-westlifer? Anyway, I honestly feel for Chris. I just wish he would quit with the Gallagher bros act
The biggest fashion statement of the moment; The Bunny Suit, as worn by Meg White on a Whirlwind Heat cd cover and Fab Moretti at Big Day Out festival. Seriously though, I'm really into the new wave of green color. I think Kylie kinda launched that one. And I'm loving the new Escada summer fragrance Island Kiss. My essentials.
"The whole fucking point of a show is to see it. Live. Watching these monitors is like watching TV. I fucking hate them. But I guess they are good for those on the balcony. So lets enjoy the monitors tonight." Hahah Julingus I love you.
My smile is a rifle and I'm pointing it at you

OMG. I like totally met JULIAN fucking CASABLANCAS today! While strolling down the alley to buy some orange jooze and chips! And then he like totally kneeled and proposed with the biggest fucking turquoise diamond ring EVA! And I was like nah, I prefer yo' buddy Nick. And then he cried.
Yes, merry April Fool's. I'm sure I gotcha all.
Atchoo: Couldn't sign your tag for some reason sooo: Me, I've just been my usual damn lazy self lately. That haircut list of yours rocks hardcore. Not to mention your mom! I LOVE NICK'S FASHION MULLET.
Harm: Good job with the Paranoid Android line! Oh, Desaparecidos. I don't think I've heard them, I've only heard about them. There's just too much stuff to listen, I never have time to really get to know any of the bands I talk about. And Harm, I crown you the diva of Friendster.
Who thinks Keane is the new Coldplay?
"Bands like Coldplay do not come along more than once in your life," Williams says ruefully. "But then," he continues with the wonder of a man who has been struck twice by lightning, "lo and behold, along came Keane."
Sounds too good. I do like Somewhere only we know but can I level it with CP? Nooo way.
ABSOLUTION by MUSE. Just in case you haven't heard any of it. You lucky americans, go catch a show now they're near you. *reminisces last October...bliss*
Blecch! Back to studying...
