Lilack, sorry to say it but Whisper is just talking to me a lot more than LHR right now... and I'm feeling the need for a little hiatus from that anyway to work on some of my poor, neglected other crap (I just found a villain for Imports.) Of course, this "hiatus" will probably last all of a week, 'cause I'd go nuts otherwise... but in the meantime, expect more Whisper before more LHR...

So... I wake up this morning to find that my dog's puked on my floor... My first thought?

"At least she didn't hit any of my artbooks"

It's just so important to have values.

ACEN was... eh, <shrug> I think I'm going to Shojocon next year. The con was fun this year because I spent it hanging out with Ann and Denise, and we were barely at the con at all really (other than to buy art books, and yes, I'm /still/ sick! I was sick all weekend and it never let up!). It kind of sucked for Ann, I thought, 'cause Starlight, Starbright didn't fit into the fandom for the one panel (which was an amazing amount of fun nonetheless), and the other panel was rather dull (except for two of the panelists who seemed pretty nice). So, she didn't get to do a lot of CCS, DNAngel or Hikaru No Go talking... and the con spelled her title wrong on her nametag to boot.

Dude, and I found out Lunar's famous! One of the panelists on the cool panel said that "Ashes to Ashes" was one of her favorite new fics! Bonus! (... and this means more of the next arc soon, ne Lunar-san? I mean, you can't disappoint your fans... unless you're writing Kuja fic, that is...)

I also got to see Shawn the Touched again... he's a cool animator with a bunch of really nice shorts and a great trailer for his new feature "Pink Lemonade"... unfortunately, I felt like someone had hit me with a car for most of the weekend, so I hardly got a chance to hang with him. <sigh> I think I should get some bonus karma points for getting sick on /this/ weekend out of all possible weekends for this summer.

Erm... we hit the bookstores... I picked up more Eva merchandise (I'm not actually obsessed... I bought everything too quickly to be obsessed yet... hehe) and I pulled up a copy of Berserk... 12 or 13 or something.... I couldn't believe what they do to Casca... I mean, I know I saw it coming... but still... damn, but I had to drop the series right then and there, I just /can't/ read that kind of stuff...

We also had the most interesting dinner on Sat. night, as the waiter proceeded to get everything wrong that he possibly could... but he was cute too, so it was hard to decide if it was worth the dinner to watch him work.

Lilack, I'm working on Whisper, but I wanted to get the chapter of LHR up first... Don't worry, I'm not going to drag this one out like I did LHR... I hope... : )

I also hope you didn't think I was dissing Hana Kimi at all, 'cause I didn't mean to come off sounding that way. I think the manga is pretty and it's fun to read. Oh, and on that note, have you ever heard of... W Juliet, I think it's called. It's really fun too... girls dressing up as guys dating guys dressing up as girls... I just like it 'cause there's a lot of butt-kicking.

I am now completely obsessed with Sol Bianca... com-plete-ly... I even made my first wallpaper because of it... <sigh>

Oh yeah, check out the Ruined Laboratory for the most angry Vicious chibi I've ever seen (I mean, I thought he'd make a pissed chibi, but this is scary...
