Thursday, August 2, 2001, 11:46 p.m. I am saddened by that email sent to me from Leareth-chan I am not extremely disturbed by the so called Bonsai Kitten ventures. It's not that I would like to sound uninformed... since I actually went thru every bit of that site to get all the information I can from them before making an opinion... The whole issue has made me somewhat sickened, I never understood human obsession with manipulating their surroundings and 'possessions' to suit themselves. I tend to like my comfort zone I admit, but I would never want my pet to become something that nature did not intend it to be. There is a purpose to evolution! And... well, I would think that even humans would like to leave nature well enough alone. Since I have taken on the online nick name "neko" this was extremely distressing, I don't love cats to the extreme but... making them live in a perspex container for the early 3 to 6 months of their physical developmental stage is... may I even say 'inhuman'. And well, I was originally not going to 'slander' this "dot-com" who is in competition with many others... but I just can't help it... >.< *Shivers* This probably has no impact on any of the ppl who actually consider or does own a bonsai kitten/cat. I'm sure the cat doesn't feel pain as we would define it within the 'container', but somehow my old fashioned sense of animal decency just prevents me from liking such a practice. I am surprised that the American Government (according to the site) actually allowed liscences and permits even to individuals encouraging such a practice. ~tsukineko~

Yesterday was quite interesting... did absolutely nothing, walking around Freo and town wasn't as exhilerating as it sounds! Now I think I was told I missed nee chans just a hr ago! Oh well... Sunday, July 29, 2001, 09:03 a.m. One not very smart neko up early today! Ohio minna-san! For those of you that were worried where on earth this silly neko dropped off... well, let's just say Leareth-chan found that silly lil mistake that prevented my entries from showing! hihi *blush*
Lilack-chan does the picture really have to be upside down? It's kinda hard to look at! Well I guess everyone deserves a report on what I was up to for the last few days! Even if you guys don't, well suck, you have to put up with my diary writing blog! ^_^ hahahah *evil chuckle* Friday was a very eventful day! ^_^ I have Fridays off as I told quite a few ppl. So... story begins Thursday actually, after I parted company with Nee-chan gomen ne! But I was really buggered, I did actually catch that bug that was going around so... felt really really bad. But Selina came over to my place and decided that life was too boring so she wanted to spice it up a bit, by suggesting we go out on the town on Friday night! And yes, we went kareokeing! Dumb hunn? especially for poor neko who was sick and had very lil voice left as it was! Of course drinking as well!!! hmmm... IF Thaddeus is reading this, I WAS TIPSY/DRUNK! so... that explains how I made a fool of myself... ^^;;; Amei must be laughing if she reads this... coz Thad would definitely tell you about my embarassing moments! Let's just say it wasn't exactly my proudest moments... have to cut this entry short, Selina now wants us to go to Freo for shopping trip, but she's shouting lunch so I see no probs there!!! ^_^ *evil grin* ~tsukineko~

I applied for that job at Witch's (hope the web ad is right), but unfortunately they don't have an immediate position available! Dammit! Need money! I joined the French Play Production crew, official title being Assistant Stage Manager. It sounds impressive doesn't it? hehehe it's actually just translator for the actual Stage Manager! hehe The play is "The Little Prince" converted to a new script version.
