Now Playing: Koppelia no Hitsugi/Copperia's Coffin - Ali Project [Noir Op]
The monitor's so much bi~gger with contacts on~<3 *niko*
Everyone seems to think this series is good, so I want to watch Noir someday~ Besides, the opening song is just too cool. <3 And now I want to hear more Ali Project! *niko* I heard they've done songs for a couple CLAMP anime...X3 Now if only I could find some mp3s. ._.
*envy* I mi~ss Tippins. It was one of my favorite restaurants back when I lived in Arlington, and there aren't any in the Houston area that I know of. ;_; We were going to go there after Nont's graduation, but it was too crowded, so we went to some cheap Chinese buffet instead. >_<;
*sees the link on Meimi's blog* *HOWL* XD XD XD *reads Meimi's CCD/Princess Bride snippet* X3 XD X3
Ate Dim Sum today for lunch. Yummy~ *niko* Going to have to exercise overtime to make up for the weight I gained from all that fatty food. ~_~; And we stopped by Bed Bath and Beyond because Mom and Dad wanted a new tablecloth for the kitchen table, and Wiriya wanted to buy a hair plug for the shower drain because she's sick of my waist-long hair clogging it. ^^;; I just love wandering around that place. <3 I saw a cute sheep pillow on sale for $5~<3 But it only came in pink, which doesn't exactly match with my pastel green/blue/white room, so I didn't get it. I kinda wish I had anyway though. ^_^; I really wanted one of the CDs there, but Dad said it was too expensive. *sigh* It was $16, and he usually only buys the really cheap CDs. (I swear, the only time I know of that my parents haven't been really stingy is when they had a fit of insanity and bought a $3000 _RUG_. >_<;) I was really interested in a Pachelbel CD because I've only heard Canon in D, and I want to see what the rest of his music like. There was also another really nice wedding-themed cd that had a lot of pretty music like Pachelbel's Canon, Bach's Air, and Greensleeves. Maybe I should've tried begging Mom instead. ._. *sigh* Just about the only time I can get my parents to buy me something is when it's food. ~_~; I want to get a job so I can actually buy something for myself every once in a while, but I just don't have the time. ;_;
Oh, and I forgot to mention! *sparkle* Friday after school in the orchestra room:
Tim: *casually strolls by carrying DVDs* "I have Cowboy Bebop~" >D >D >D
Vinta: Eh~?! <3 Nani nani?! Doko doko doko~?! *bounce*
It was the fourth and fifth volumes, so I didn't borrow them... (I only have the first DVD. ;_;) But! He says he'll loan me the second and third volumes this week~! X3 X3 X3

Now Playing: Butterfly [Pikachu Mix] - Smile.dk
X3 I wonder if the person looking for "DDR Pikachu" stumbled upon this song. XD Whoever edited this song must've been smokin' something funny and very very bored. XD XD XD *scrolls down and sees the comment about the Kyoko fic* No go? ;_; *sniff* Well, I'm going to keep hoping that someday, a ficcer will stumble upon this page and see some comment about HizukixKaren and feel inspired. *crosses fingers* *niko* I'm not entirely sure why I like this very alternate pairing so much, but it strikes me as very cute. ^_^; And just imagine what Kyoko would do if she noticed anything going on~ X3 X3 X3

Now Playing: Ring to Eternity - Hattan Amika
[rant]
>_<* Very frustrated right now, and need to vent about stupid inconsiderate jerks. >_< Today, we had an "inner-outer circle" discussion in which a third of the class sits in the inner circle of desks and talks about a given topic, and the rest take notes and make comments (on paper, that is) about what's being said. It's pretty much a free-for-all discussion, as long as we stay on the topic of the question given, and the teacher is not supposed to say anything unless absolutely necessary. I really dread this kind of thing. For the most part, I'm a very introverted person, and I never participate orally in class unless it's for a grade - such as for projects and discussions. But I really tried to do well on this because I need the grade boost after my barely passing grade on the reading quiz. And I would've gotten a very good grade on this - most likely an A, with a very slight chance of a B - but instead, the _highest possible_ grade I will receive is an _80_. >_< The discussion is based on two parts - 30 points for the 12-18 minute discussion (five points for every point made), and the remaining 70 based on notes and commentary taken on the other two discussions. If I had said everything that I had meant to say, I probably would have made a total of 5-6 comments, pretty much guaranteeing an A or B for me. But thanks to certain unnamed people, I had the chance to speak *twice* within the ~15 minute timespan. T_T* It was nearly impossible to say something, because a few people just talked non-stop, insisted on talking after every other person, and interrupted everyone else constantly. There were a couple of times where I had the floor, but after a few words, some rude jerk would cut in, and I never had the chance to say what I wanted to say. It got to the point where I even raised my voice a couple times trying to get something in, which is really rare for me - everyone I know is always calling me too passive, too quiet, too shy, too soft-spoken. It really pisses me off that I lost 15-25 points off my grade just because a few people didn't have the courtesy to let the other two-thirds of the group get a chance to speak. Either these people were too STUPID to comprehend that every time they refused to SHUT UP, they were causing someone else to lose the oppurtunity to gain five points, or they were just plain RUDE. And if a person missed an oppurtunity to bring something up, they couldn't say it again because after a couple other people had spoken, it would have been off the current topic. That is, except for the time when two idiots just went back and forth saying basically the same thing OVER and OVER again. At that point in time, Mrs. Pellikan *finally* interrupted and asked, in a much nicer and more polite way that I'm going to say, that although it's nice that they were enthusiastic about the discussion, certain idiots ought to allow others to actually SAY SOMETHING, because they've EFFING MADE THEIR POINT, and some people have barely had the chance to talk AT ALL. Of course, at this point in time, there was only a couple minutes until the end of our turn to dicuss, and I only talked one more time. (Meaning that in the first 10 minutes or so of the discussion, I only had the chance to speak ONCE. T_T) I think the idiots must have each talked at least 2-3 minutes total. Meanwhile, most of the rest of the group only spoke once or twice, while a couple people didn't have the chance to speak at all. >_< If I had been in either of the other much more polite and courteous groups, I would have easily made a good grade, but no, I'm stuck in the group of TWITS who seem to think their word is GOLD.
[/rant]
Anyway. On to slightly more pleasant things. At least my Pre-Cal and English quiz grades were B's. Not as good as I hoped, but still okay, I suppose. And just to show how many stupid mistakes I make on everything I do, I knew *all* of what was on the two quizzes. >_>;; For example, on the English quiz, for some reason, my brain decided that it wanted one problem to read "Write a sentence with an intransitive verb" instead of "transitive". ~_~;; Bzzz! Wrong! At least it wasn't one of those times where I failed quizzes entirely because of stupid mistakes.
*sigh* I have tons of work to do this weekend. ;_; Besides the usual weekly piano and violin lessons that I haven't had the time to practice for, there's reading/studying for the quiz on chapter three of the history book, finishing the summer reading books, answering the three response questions for them (which will take forever to do because they have to be 1-2 pages each), and the chairtest on the new music on Monday. Mrs. Vandiver threw a bitch fit today because she decided that we obviously haven't practiced the two pieces that we just got THIS WEEK, and decided to switch the chairtest from the tryout music for the region orchestra we worked on this summer to our very new freakin hard pieces. >_< And I HATE chairtests. I get extremely nervous and freak out to no end; I shake, break into a cold sweat, my heart rate skyrockets, and on occaision, I hyperventilate. Yes, it's THAT BAD. I always get nervous when I have to be the focus of people who aren't friends/family, and it just gets worse and worse as I get older. I remember that at my first piano recital, I was hardly nervous at all, even though I played in a large church room that probably had at least a hundred people. Now I freak out about the silliest things, like speaking out in class, playing group sports - just about anything that might involve me being the center of attention of even a few people. I think this is when self-conciousness gets out of hand. >_<;
Wiriya just came home~ XD She dropped by Pro-Vision and picked up my contacts, which came in yesterday~ <3 <3 <3
XD XD XD Harry Potter-themed alcoholic drinks? I've never drunken an ounce of alcohol in my life, but I'm curious about these. XD Though I think I know what alcohol tastes like, judging from when people say that something tastes like it has an alcoholic residue. And I must say, if it tastes like how I think it does, it tastes like nasty poison to me. >_>; I think I wouldn't mind trying one of those mixed fruit alcoholic beverages they have at places like TGI Friday's though. *niko* It's pretty amazing that I've never touched alcohol though, considering that a person could get drunk very easily in my house - it's mostly drinks like wine and champagne, but then there's some really strong stuff that we got as gifts.
I really think my school portrait must have turned out pretty awful. ~_~ I could feel my smile twitching, so I probably had a weird expression on my face. And I was trying not to blink as the photographer was counting down (at least she gave me fair warning...>_>), but right before the flash, I blinked for a pretty long time (for a blink, anyway). So there's probably going to picture of me in the yearbook with a weird expression, and my eyes closed. >_o
I considered moving to LiveJournal for a while, but now I'm really glad I didn't. It's down more often than not whenever I try to access it. >_o
Geesh, now I want to learn Tagalog too~ If we had fun smut here in America, I'd probably be an addict. X3 Nevermind the fun coincidence of a guy named Kenshin as the main character with an aunt named Megumi. XD~ But no, we have the bad formulaic crap. And the series with states as the theme are the WORST. Geh, I don't know WHERE they get the idea that every hot Texan man is a COWBOY, of all things.

Now Playing: Vitamin Love [Kodocha]
Happy happy happy mood~! <3 <3 <3 I was curious about what would come up if I typed in "Vinita" and "tsubasa" on the Google search engine, and one of the links was to one of Shiori's blog archives from mid-July, where she complimented my blog layout~! Thank you Shiori~! <3 <3 <3 She's got a really nice 1x2x1 Gundam Wing layout now too~ *niko* I wish I could dish out cool layouts like her. *kira kira*
Now I kinda wish I had come up for a more creative title for my blog, but I guess it's okay. I really want to change the layout soon though. It's been five weeks already, and I'm getting kinda tired of looking at it. ^^; I think I regret not looking longer for a Chiaki/Maron image to use. It's kinda cute, but Chiaki's eye scares me a bit in that particular picture. ^_^; I wonder if Meli still has her Adobe Photoshop CD...though I'd have to learn how to use it first if I borrowed it. @_@
*siiigh* I don't think I did too well on today's quizzes. I didn't finish three problems on the Pre-Cal one; we didn't have enough time as we should have because Mrs. Lucas' clock was five minutes late. And I always make tons of careless mistakes in math, so that'll make it even worse. ;_; I *think* I did okay on the English grammar quiz, but I can already think of one mistake I made. (Well, at least English doesn't seem nearly as boring as it used to.) I did bad on the U.S. History one...I fell asleep after reading the third page of the chapter (ACK!), so by the time the quiz came around, I had only read about half the chapter and skimmed over another quarter of it. ~_~ I really ought to have been able to finish the reading in CompSci. I had finished typing out the program he gave us the previous day, and all I needed to do was correct two tiny errors, run it, and play with the program a bit. (It was simple number guessing one.) But I was paranoid about him coming over and screaming at me or something if I did something else... Turns out that he really didn't care, as long as we had finished the assignment, because by the end of class, some other people were working on homework too. ~_~; Ah well, it's just one grade. >.>
Picture day's tomorrow. I think I must be cursed by some photography god or something. XP Whenever I have my picture taken, the photographers are always very evil to me. >_< For example, the other year, when the photographer had finished telling me how to position myself, she said "Smile!" and took the picture less than a second later. >_o I'll refrain from talking about that atrocity on my driver's license. >_>; At least last year's school portrait was somewhat decent. *crosses fingers* Here's hoping that this year's is at least as good as last year's.
And on the subject of school pictures... Since neither Jonathan Wei nor James Nicholson ever gave Mrs. Vandiver pictures of themselves for the All-State Orchestra plaques from two years ago, she decided to scan their yearbook photos, blow them up to photograph size, and stick it on the plaque. X3 And both their yearbook photos look downright TERRIBLE. XD; Jonathan's blinking and has this ultra-goofy grin on his face. And James looks kind of like Frankenstein in his. She showcased them to us in class today, and soon they're going on the walls. XD XD XD I wonder if Jonathan's back in China already, or if he's still visiting. If he's still around, I wouldn't be surprised if he came in one day and tore up the picture. X3
The assembly for juniors was today during 2nd period physics, and they gave us brocures for the Balfour class rings. I wonder if I should get one... I'd like to have one, but I don't think I'd wear it much anyway. Hmmm...I know Wiriya got one, but I don't remember Nick ever getting a class ring...*scratches head*
And after we got back from the assembly, Meli showed me pictures of The Clash of the Titans. *dum da duuum* Okay, not really. ^_^; Her family actually took pictures of the crawfish that they were about to cook "fighting". ^_^;;; The pictures also showed Meli and her cousins holding the crawfish. Meli says her crawfish won. XD;

Now Playing: Revolution ~ Maron no Tame ni - Minazuki Yamato [KKJ]
o_O; I'm always surprised whenever I remember that Takahashi Naozumi plays both Yamato and Wormmon. It's always so interesting to look up seiyuu. *niko* A few of the more interesting ones: Matsui Naoko is Toudaiji Miyako is Dorothy Catalonia is Shiratori Azusa. Chiba Susumu is Nagoya Chiaki is Youzen. Yajima Akiko is Access Time is Toudaiji-kaasan is Relena Darlian/Peacecraft. Yamaguchi Kappei is Noin Claude is Saotome Ranma is Inuyasha is Kudou Shin'ichi (I never knew he played Shinichi; I've only heard Conan's voice, so...). Tsuru Hiromi is Jeanne d'Arc is Kuounji Ukyou is Meryl Strife. *niko niko* I want to hear how Noin sounds~<3 But I still can't believe they replaced Silk with Mist. ~_~
Oooh...*sparkle* According to this, Tanemura Arina wrote the lyrics for both Sanctus and Shinsekai Kaze. Now if only there were translations somewhere for the KKJ image album...;_; I'm going to have to look up Kiyooko Chiho sometime; I really like Cry~Haato ga Naiteru.
The Kamikaze Crash blog has officially started~<3 There's apparently another KKJ blog, Taihen yo! too. I would have to say that Complete Strangers, Kamikaze Crash, and The Bishounen Diaries are my favorite series blogs. <3 *niko* <3
Hamasaki Ayumi is singing the new Inuyasha ending song starting in September. *kira*
*checks tracker* O_O; Er...I apparently got my first search engine hits yesterday. *scratches head* ...How did I end up on a search engine (Yahoo)? How exactly do sites end up listed on search engines in the first place anyhow? The only way I know of is to submit them, and besides that, I'm kinda clueless. @_@
There's been a little lizard living in our house for the past month or so. My guess is that it was a stowaway in Kaasan's luggage when she came back from Thailand, because it doesn't look like any lizards around here, and everyone says it looks like some species of lizard there. I figured I'd just leave it alone, since it's so small, and it's probably eating a bunch of bugs around the house. But now it just crawled under the rug, and I'm paranoid about accidently squishing it. >_>;
Nick went back to UT/Austin today. So quiet with only Kaasan and myself in the house again... I haven't had this much privacy since May, and it seems so odd now. Feeling kinda alone now, but I'm sure I'll get over it soon. Soon I'll be rejoicing at the privacy. *niko*
Erk. I have to go to PSAT class tomorrow, and I am not at all ready for the vocab quizzes on the ~2000 words we had to study over the summer. And I have three quizzes tomorrow for Pre-Cal, English, and U.S. History. And Mrs. Vandiver's going to start switching around chairs tomorrow. *dread* ;_; ;_; ;_; *si~gh* I suppose I ought to go off to bed now...

Now Playing: Melodies of Life ~ Final Fantasy - Shiratori Emiko [FFIX]
XD; I've been looking at way too much merchandise lately. This is bad. I might succumb. *shiku shiku* And since I don't have a job, and I don't get any money from my family (not even for presents...;_;), I'm very poor. So this is a very bad thing. ^^;; And there have been so many many things I have been sparkling over. Like the Ashton Anchors fan at usanime.net. The Final Fantasy IX plush UFO dolls are too cute for words (monkey tail~~X3). And I like the promo Vivi beanie plush. I also like the Inuyasha UFO plushies. I like the FFVIII plushies too. Are we seeing a pattern here? ^_^;; I've never had a UFO/anime/game type plushie before, and I wish I could have one~ And then there's the dozens of manga and anime volumes I want. Especially the manga. *kira*
Alan has a Veggie Tales t-shirt. I never realized. >.>; He's been wearing it since last year, and I've always giggle-cackled over it. But I didn't know about Veggie Tales before I saw a tape of it at Target a couple months back (which sparked a Nick and Wiriya cackling session). So when I saw the shirt again in CompSci today, the veggies tugged at my memory. And I *cough* discreetly stared at his shirt. >.>;;; Which says, in little cursive-ish letters, Veggie Tales. XD XD XD
Mrs. Lucas cackles. O_O; Not a full-fledged cackle, but she cackles nonetheless. A Pre-Cal teacher that cackles. Ph34r!
Added the 100th sticker onto my calcy (my shortened version of calculator :3) today. X3 It's a very pretty sparkly snowflake sticker. And it's on my "ON" button. *niko*
Much talking about anime on the mailing lists lately. If the Chobits rumor is true, I can't wait till it starts~<3 *niko* And if D.N. Angel ever gets made into an anime, I'm all over it. *leer* Dark: Mi~nna ore no fan~! XD XD XD I'm doubtful about the seiyuu selection for a D.N. Angel anime ever being able to top the drama tracks though...H_H
Today, there was a hole in the seam of Lindsey's shirt sleeve. Which isn't a particularly interesting piece of news. But hormones were running rampant in 6th period U.S. History. >_>;
Lindsey: *tugs at her shirt sleeve* Do you think it's noticable that this shirt's falling apart...?
Matt: What? Did she say her shirt's falling off? *stare*
Ty: *leer* I wouldn't mind seeing that.
Vinita: >_>;;
I don't think Lindsey heard a word of that exchange, thankfully. >_>; It's really quite amazing how the mind will hear what it wants to hear. Or rather, what the head wants to hear.

Now Playing: Melodies of Life ~ Final Fantasy - Shiratori Emiko [FFIX]
I'm sure I'll stop sparkling over this song eventually. Just not yet, because I just saw the ending of FFIX today. *waff* And it is now officially one of my favorite game endings, right up there with FFVI~<3 <3 <3 Heck, it might even be my favorite game ending, period. :3 I'm glad one of the "spoilers" I stumbled upon untrue, because I would've been very frustrated and probably screaming at Square. >.> They could have made this an unhappy ending so easily, and I'm really glad they didn't. <3 I really think Square had a lot of fun making this game...^_^ And there must have been dozens of references to previous games. ^_^; But really, that "No cloud, no squall shall hinder us" line was truly, truly awful. XD; I'm not sure what was worse: that, or the Star Wars reference. X3 The Matrix refrence just had me cracking up. And the following *thump* was just hilariously anticlimatic. XD XD XD
Zidane's brief fling with angst at the end of the third disc was very short-lived... I think Square tried too hard, because the the overly dramatic music and staggering was just too much, and ended up making me laugh more than anything else. XD And then there was the angsty Zidane getting drunk at the bar early on in the game... XD XD XD
But anyway, enough sparkling about FFIX. ^_~ Let's talk Clover. *niko* I suppose I ought to spare the public from cackling over Lan LAN Lan LAN Lan LAN. I've already had a mutual cackling section with Meli anyhow. X3 I've only seen the first Tokyopop translated volume, but I really think this is one CLAMP's best works to date. <3 The cinematic feel, the surreal and fast-paced plot, the sparseness, the stark black and white contrasts, and all the little things, like the sfx being done by computer instead of handwritten...just, WOW. *sparkle* Tokyopop's translations weren't too shabby either. I still think Fuu's translations are better, but Tokyopop did a pretty good job. And the "I'll make YOU my bitch, Gingetsu" line was just CLASSIC. X3 X3 X3
And since everyone else is, I suppose I'll talk about my first day/week of school too. >_o My schedule, as follows:
1.) Pre-Cal Honors; Mrs. Lucas
2.) Physics I Honors; Mrs. Long
3.) Computer Science I Honors/AP; Mr. Evans
4.) Orchestra; Of course, Mrs. Vandiver, unfortunately. XP
5.) English III Honors/AP; Mrs. Guest
6.) U.S. History Honors/AP; Mrs. Pellikan
I've got all the math-related stuff in the morning. XP Luckily, Mrs. Lucas is one of those uber-hyper teachers, so hopefully I won't be on the verge of collapsing everyday in first period. XD Mrs. Long...>_o Well, according to everyone else, including Wiriya and Nick and Cindy and Fabian and everyone else who's ever had her, she's wonderful at Biology. Too bad she sucks at Physics and has no clue of what she's doing. >_o Everyone started cracking up when I told them who I had for Physics. >_>; Evans is shaping out to be exactly as what I've heard. Which isn't a good thing. XP Mrs. Vandiver...I won't talk about her, because I know that if I do, I'll go into full rant mode. >_< Mrs. Guest is THE most boring teacher I've ever had. >_o On the first day, we spent over half an hour reviewing parts of speech. >_< Just my luck that I have English _right after_ lunch, when my stomach's telling me: "Digeeesting...time to sleeeep...sleeeep...sleeeep~" >_>;; Not only that, everyone tells me that although she's wonderful at preparing people for the AP exam, she's works people to death. The second day:
Former Student: *walks in* Mrs. Guest is the HARDEST teacher I've EVER had.
Mrs. Guest: Oh, thanks. >_>
Class: O_O (We're going to diiiie~)
Mrs. Pellikan seems pretty nice, but it soon became apparent, especially on the second day, that the class would be nothing but lecture and taking notes the entire period. As my tummy continues to sing its lullaby. >_>; Both Nick and Wiriya had Long and Pellikan. Mrs. Pellikan either doesn't remember them or doesn't really care. Mrs. Long on the other hand...>_>;; Second day of school:
Mrs. Long: Good morning~<3 *pause* Oh, wait!! Are you the sister of...of...
Vinita: >_>;...Wiriya and Nick?
Mrs. Long: Yes, yes, that's it! How are they?!
Later...
Mrs. Long: Let's say, for example...*scans the room*...Vinita! might ask how to do number four!
Vinita: *stare* (I swear her eyes lit up when she noticed me...>_>;)
Mrs. Long: OH! Not that I'm saying you wouldn't know how to do the problem!
Colby: ¬_¬ She's so smart, she'd know all the answers anyway.
Mrs. Long: Oh, I KNOW~! *waves arms around enthusiastically* You don't have to tell me! I've had ALL the Chiranands~! <3 <3 <3
>_>;; Just for the record, Wiriya and Nick had Mrs. Long in their senior years for Bio II, so there's a five and four year gap, respectively. It's scary how well teachers remember their students. Though, I suppose it'd be easier to remember two siblings that sleep in your class the entire time and still make straight A's. >_> Mind, I don't really sleep in class, at least not for more than a few seconds at a time, because I actually make a big effort not to fall asleep. My siblings on the other hand...>_>
*sigh* I don't have anyone to talk to in U.S. History or English. ;_; I'm going to be so lonely~! ;_; ;_; ;_; Well, at least I've got friend(s) in my morning classes! Cindy's in my CompSci class; she's a year above me, so I've never had any classes with her before besides orchestra. *niko niko* And Meli's in my Physics class; I haven't had a class with her since 7th grade~<3
On another note, I got my contacts Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, when I took them out five hours later, there was a little elliptical HOLE in my right contact, which had NOT been there before, and freaked me out to no end. It was at the edge of the blue-tinted part, so I didn't even notice until I took it out. o_O I really, really, hope that what is now a hole is NOT stuck in my eye somewhere. >_o Anyway, I had to return them, since it's obviously a manufacturer's defect, because I wasn't exactly clawing at my eye (my nails are pretty much cut as short as possible anyway for the sake of the violin), and I don't think I could make a near-perfect oval even if I tried. So it'll be another week or so until I get to wear my contacts for good. ;_;

Now Playing: Melodies of Life ~ Final Fantasy - Shiratori Emiko [FFIX]
*kira kira* Nick constantly playing FFIX makes me want to listen to this constantly. <3
Many Fun Things to blog about, but I've probably forgotten half of it by now. *_*
Sunday afternoon was incredibly fun. *kira* Watched Legally Blonde and The Others with Meli, Keiko, Jenny, Christina, and Holly. Legally Blonde was just so CUTE and FUN. X3 Meli and I were screaming "Look at that guy's BUTT!!! XD XD XD" when we saw the UPS guy. And this, of course, led to cackling about Ashley Riot's butt. XD The Others...I kinda when o_O when I saw that the theater was packed, and almost no one was over 20. ^_^; Luckily, we went in about half an hour early, so we got good seats. I thought it was just an average movie, but it was fun to see everyone around me except Keiko freaking. X3 Meli brought her seal plushie she got in Sea World along with her so she could hug it and hide behind it during the scary parts. XD Its, or rather, her, name is Whatever, named so along with her cousins' seal plushies, "Doesn't Matter" and "Don't Care," beause that's what Meli's mom said when asked for name suggestions. XD I didn't really think it was a scary movie though. All it did was surprise me a couple times with loud sounds. ^^;; A scary movie would make me all tense and paranoid that'll I'll accidently scratch myself or something whenever something freaks me out. ^^;;
Found out that Jenny likes Harry Potter when we passed by a couple posters at the theater. <3
Jenny: I want to watch that~<3
Holly: Jenny, knowing you, you'll probably go and watch it opening night. >.>;
Vinita: *bounce* I'll watch it with you~! <3 <3 <3 *niko niko*
Maybe maybe! If we watch it together, we can drag other people along with us~<3 *niko niko*
Then I came home and sparkled over the Pinkies (yummy~!) and Tare Panda stuff that Keiko finally got around to giving me. *niko* I got peach, melon, orange, grape, and mint Pinkies. *kira* Also a Tare Panda keychain, two notepads, a postcard, and a mini psuedo-windchime cell phone thing. And a strawberry-scented rubber eraser~ *niko*
Also showed Wiriya my graphing calculator. Which has 99 stickers on it. *cackle*
Wiriya: Nicky~! ;_; Vinita's done something SCARY and WRONG with her calculator~!
Vinita: But it's cuuute~<3 Besides, at least there's less of a chance of someone stealing it. <3 Since no guy with a shred of dignity would claim that a calculator covered with uber-cute stickers was his. *_*
And I got new glasses~! I wasn't too sure about the choice of frames at first, but Neechan and the girl helping me pick out frames said it looked nice on me, so I got them anyway. And I finally get to have contacts~! I should be picking up my new contacts on Friday~! <3 <3 <3 Tousan was pretty adamant against it, since he gets the impression that they're so inconvenient and that they're too much of a hassle and impossible to deal with, thanks to Nont. >_>; But Neechan helped convince him, and the doctor said something like, "You know, for people with very bad vision, contacts is a better choice." Lucky~! XD What surprises me the most is that my vision's actually been pretty stable. There's hardly been any changes since my last exam, which was three years ago. o_O My left eye's exactly the same, and for my right eye, the sphere's improved by 0.25, but the cylinder's gotten worse by 0.25. So in other words, things are very slightly sharper, but my astygmatism's gotten worse. >_o We haven't really decided whether soft or hard contacts would be better for me, so I think I'm going to be trying out both during the next few months... Hard contacts really would be better in terms of sight, since my astygmatism's and near-sightedness is pretty bad, but since most people find hard contacts uncomforable...*shrug* But now I'll be able to wear REAL SUNGLASSES after nine years~!
*sigh* And school's starting tomorrow... *dread* My last blog of summer vacation...;_; Hopefully I can keep this at least somewhat interesting throughout the school year... Don't want to bore people to death with gripes about homework, projects, teachers, chair tests, college applications, lack of sleep, etc. in every entry. >_o I hope I'll have my friends in more of my classes this year... I was so LONELY last year~ ;_; Well, *perks up* at least I can drive to school this year~! *niko niko* No more evil yellow bus~! X3 Well, technically, I shouldn't actually be driving tomorrow, since I haven't actually picked up my parking permit sticker, but oh well. They're not checking for them till Monday. *niko*
