Another sign that the Harry Potter (and Sirius SiriusSiriusSirius) obsession has perhaps gone Too Far: On the way home from today's appointment with my psychiatrist and lunch, my mom wishes that she could just bypass all the traffic by flying up into the sky! Like that thing in...! (*_*) *tries to remember that Disney movie* Meanwhile, my brain is screaming, "Sirius' bike! Sirius' bike!!! Black Shadow! Black Shadooow~! XDDD~"
We also decided to stop by La Madeline after eating at Souper Salad because I decided that I obviously hadn't eaten enough fat today, and I wanted to try another one of their new desserts anyway. I got a ridiculously yummy chocolate and hazelnut dessert. Vanilla Cake and hazelnut mousse layered in a milk chocolate cup and covered with dark chocolate shavings. Very pretty. X3 Of course, my mom was standing by me the display case reveling in another oppurtunity to say, "*sheeplike* Baaaad foood! It will cloooog your arteries!~!"

*bangs head on the nearest hard surface* Oh, of all the CURSED luck.
First, sis stumbled upon this page last Thursday when she was randomly looking up her name on Google. When I was on the phone talking to her, no less. >__>;; My first reaction was something like, "Oh. Shit." I asked her what the name of the page was. "Er...something about pitas..?" ">_O;; Er, Wiriya, could you leave that page? Like, right NOW? And never ever tell Nont or Nick about that? ESPECIALLY Nont?" And then I'm going to assume she left the page. Because it'd make me feel better, and she's not nosy to the point of complete and utter rudeness and doesn't rummage through my desk, or read aloud very personal notes and emails, or look through the browser history entirely for the sake of looking at what family members do during their internet time and announcing and laughing at everything that comes up (like certain people *cough*NONT*cough*). Then I looked up her name on Google, after she mentioned that this kept coming up in the results and how evil I was for writing about her so much. (You evil girl! What are you writing about me? Something about "Gauntlet! I love Gauntlet!" in the page description? o_o;;) So I looked up her name and was pretty mortified that it was the 13th result. >_O;; If sis came upon this that easily, it really really Bothers Me how likely it is that Nont or Nick will stumble on this sometime in the future. >__<;;
And today, I notice someone came here through the search query: "meaning of nont thai" *twitch* And the user came from "boons.res.cmu.edu" *twitchtwitch* Which /must/ be one of the Boons, family friends (who I've never actually been familiar with...>_>;) whose full last names are actually much longer. (Silly Thais who always add extra letters to their surnames to make them "unique") It's just way too much of a coincidence for someone from "boons.res.cmu.edu" coming from Google with that particular search query. I'm betting it's Prasith, though I don't know where the heck he is right now, other than that it's somewhere in Boston. Since Irene's still a senior in high school, Sandy goes to Trinity, and Nitaya's off at Baylor of Dallas, and I don't see how either of those would translate to CMU, whatever that is. And. OY! BOON! If you're looking at this again, you damn well better not tell Nont about this. Or I'll personally fly up to wherever you are and give you a good boot to the head. Or become a ghost whenever I die and haunt you and Nont for giving me no peace. Because Nont will never ever let me live /anything/ even remotely embarassing down until the day he dies. T_T***

*babbles incoherently* Oh, ihopeitstrueihopeitstrueihopeitstrue~~~!!! Mwah. XDDD It's probably not, but I can hope, neee~? I always thought it'd probably be out this fall or something, what with all the talk about her not being finished yet. So...so, so, so~! Though, IIRC, I think the UK school term ends around mid-July. Too hot for me to camp out overnight outside the nearest bookstore, I think? XD;;
Forgot to mention, I also saw the "Harry Potter & Me" biography thingie featuring Ms. Rowling on A&E last week. Was v. v. nifty. Ms. Rowling is uber-cool. And dang, that lady has a ton of notes. Apparently the writing-on-napkins thing is true, though not because of a lack of money to buy paper. Philip Pullman talked for a minute. *squeeaal* The Sean guy, whom our ickle Ronniekins is based on, also showed up. Seems to me that they still get on smashingly well. XD;; Sean was apparently The Man in high school because he had a blue Ford Anglia. *snerk*
I also went to the library yesterday after my doctor's appointment. (I'm still sick, demmit. Whee, blood drawn. Threw up again while at the doctor's office. >_> Am probably dehydrated due to not being able to keep things down. And along with accompanying nasty pain in the head and dizziness, cramps and bloating from a certain other thing have acosted me too. Bleh. Abdomen is just one big mass of ickiness) Anyway, along with getting half a dozen books for my research paper, I checked out book 3 of "His Dark Materials," The Amber Spyglass. Eeee~! And Iorek is back! Hope I will have time to read it during the next three weeks... The Subtle Knife is over a week overdue because I haven't been to the school library to return it... ~_~
XD I think I want Philip Pullman to be my daddy too, in a most definately un-sugar daddy way, of course. And JK Rowling can be my Auntie and read me all her notes. *niko* I need to read more Pullman stuff. After I finish "His Dark Materials," must find more of his stuff~ Too bad the libraries don't really stock up much on his other stuff...*sniff* Though "His Dark Materials" sometimes makes me go *pikupiku*, this a /children's/ book?! (Or at least it's in the "Teen" section of my library. >_>) I think I once read an article where Pullman said he was thankful of Rowling's popularity, because otherwise he'd be having much more trouble with all his highly controversial subjects. Well, no kidding. ^^;
Now for some extremely extremely belated social blogging and accompanying babble, which happens to be in alphabetical order by name, since that's the order of my bookmarks...^_^;

XD I always get the impression that handwriting gets neater until a certain point, and then it gets worse when people just start writing too much... ^^; Or at least, that's what I get from looking at my family and other people. And doctors. Doctors write tons and tons. Doctors have the absolute worst handwriting on earth. *points to doctor parents and their co-workers and friends from medical school* It's always seems odd to look at other people's sigs, because I can actually identify individual letters. np: Dancing Queen
I have been such a very very bad blogger lately. (Or rather, the last two months...) But I have no time no time~!
Eep. Winamp skin featuring Saitou Hajime from the infamous Battousai/Saitou fight scene came up for this song. So either he wants to: A.) Aku Soku Zan this song, or B.) be a seventeen-year-old dancing queen (again?) so he can have the time of his life (with Battousai?) *nita*
Bwah. Instead of taking three homebound classes, I'm going to three classes in the morning, along with two homebound classes in the afternoon - from one to two on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So I have a quasi-normal life now. Though third period ends at 10:50, and Kaasan can't pick me up until 12:30. So while I'm waiting, I do office aid at the attendance office/go to the library to study/zone out during fourth period, and go to last lunch at noon.
The bad part is...that last year's make-up exams that I took during the fall don't count. T_T~!!! The three that I did during the summer (Orchestra, Algebra II, Spanish III) do count, but now I have to retake Chemistry I, English II, and World History. Grr, grr, grrrr... And I was ready! To take! Those stupid! Stupid! Idiotic! Exams! During the summer!!! *screams* But the counselor who was administering my exams had to ask Some Idiot Higher Up That I Will Forever Hate about something, and /he/ said, oh, it's too late for me to be taking them now and they're too busy for that, so I have to wait till the new school term starts. Even though the counselor didn't mind at all. So I took them during the fall. And now they don't count. So I have to retake those three classes.
I'm not quite so mad anymore, but I'm still rather irritated about the whole matter. I don't mind so much taking World History again (though I don't particularly like the teacher), since I'm taking honors again, and this time I hopefully won't get horribly sick with encephalitis and various other things again and miss half the semester so I have a chance at an A instead of a B. Which really ought not to be so hard. As for Chemistry, I'm taking an Advanced course this time around (since my brain probably can't take an Honors class right now...) I suppose I don't really mind toooo much, since I probably didn't make an A anyway with his freaking hard final exam, and Modine's Advanced is even more of a blow off class than his Honors class. XD; And of course, I'm taking Ad English III, since AP/Honours would kill me. Really. Ms. Guest is great, but she's a slave driver. I distinctly remember her telling us "This class is hard! I wouldn't want to be taking this class! *nikoniko*"
And then I'm taking English II Advanced and US History Advanced for homebound. I really really mind having to retake English II Advanced. I /know/ I must have made an A in that class, because I had the highest average in my class, even with me missing so much. And that was a class with a number of really smart people. (So hah!) 'Course, doesn't really matter now...~_~; So even if I make an A in the class now, it wouldn't count as much grade point-wise... I don't like English class (least favorite), so I really resent having to take it again. I wish I could've taken a regular US History AP/Honors class in school though (homebound doesn't offer AP/Honors, and Advanced is a completely different course, textbook, etc.), so I could prepare for the AP Exam... I'll see if I can borrow other people's notes anyway. Might as well give the AP exam a shot...
And then there's the fact that I have to read Animal Farm for Ad English II, which I also did for Honors English I. And I have the exact same study questions as freshmen year. I /know/ I do. But the teacher must have never given them back, because it was the last book we did that year, and it's not in my old binder. I've kept all my school work since sixth grade...I'm such a packrat. >_>; Ick. Irritating.
Bwah. Enough with the rant babble. I started on the 15th, even though the school term started the week before (the previous Tuesday), since it took a while to get everything together. I didn't have much to catch up on school-wise, and office aid is actually kinda fun. XD; I thought I'd give it a try, since Mr. Arcement was practically begging for additional help there (^^;) and it's not so bad. I think it's better than being alone studying in the library everyday, anyway, even with my fetish for reading. I don't do that much (the afternoons are much busier than when I work). For the most part, I just highlight/stamp excuse notes people turn in, deliver notes to classes, and then zone out/study/talk the rest of the time. And then I get to go to whathever lunch I want. XD~ I've only been going to last lunch though, since that's the one I went to before. So at least now I'm no longer socially deprived. X3 Though I've also been sick with the stomach flu and generally being quite barfy and headachy and dizzy, so I guess I'm sort of socially deprived right now. (I am currently afraid of going up/down the stairs, because my vision gets all swirly-swirly at the worst possible times, like when I let go of the handrail for a split-second. I dreamt last night about falling down the stairs and twisting my ankle and giving myself a concussion.)
I also went to watch A Beautiful Mind on...the 11th with Fabian (who was sitting by me and dissed every non-MIT university that appeared on the screen ^^;) and Cindy and Roderick and Alex and other people taller and older than me. Really really great movie. Everyone should go watch it as soon as possible.
Aaand...I've just about burned out my sudden urge to blog. I had so many fun things I wanted to blog about, but now I don't really feel up to it anymore. @.@; Anyway, so that's why I've hardly been ever been online, Kei-chan...sorry~ Keeping up with sleeping half the day and taking five classes takes up a lot of my time. ^_^;;

In other news, yeah, that's *points down* my new commentary system. XD~ All possible thanks to Cindy, who recently moved to Pitas (at the worst possible time) and couldn't stand to live without commentary cuz she's a commentary h0, and the super nice Phil, who helped Cindy tons with setting it up and editing the code to fit Pitas. The downside of it is that Opera doesn't support javascript that's required to work it, so it's kinda screwy on that. Seems to work fine in all the other browsers I've tested though (IE, Netscape, Mozilla, Netcaptor...) A shame, since Opera's my main browser. _o_
