...Perhaps you need a week or so's worth of tranquilizers? o_o; Anyhow, have you heard Okiayu Ryoutarou in anything besides El Hazard? Because he's really not like that in the rest of his roles. ^^;; He also plays...*checks Hitoshi Doi's site*...Treize (Gundam Wing), Yuu (Marmalade Boy), Shigure (Fruits Basket), Inouva (Rayearth), Youzen (Houshin Engi), Crawford (Weiss Kreuz), Kurei (Rekka), Takurou (Di Gi Charat), Hartia (Orphen), Issei (Please Save My Earth), and...ohmygod, ALUCARD from Dracula X. *whimper* His dub voice is so dorky. ;_; Um, anyway, Okiayu has a deep, sexy voice in most his roles I'm familiar with. Not at all like his Jinnai voice, trust me. ^^; Quite good at being pervy too. You need to hear him singing about seeing high school girls in his Shigure role. XD;; Though I still don't think he can match Onosaka. *pout*

One of my friends set up a blog of her own today, but she doesn't know that I know about it. I'm so very disappointed though, because she doesn't have any commentary system set up, so I can't be all stalker-y and break her brain and scare her. Darn. *pout*
*pokes around at other blogs* Ishida Akira as Satoshi seems to be making everyone cry. ^^; I'm still mourning D.N. Angel's loss of one of the sexiest voices in the world though. ;_;
Seriously, Onosaka Masaya's sexy!voice make me all shivery inside. Does he use that voice for any other roles? Because I really, really will watch some random anime just so I can listen to /that voice/. ^^;;
I saw part of The Wedding Singer on TNN today. During the part where Adam Sandler sings "Somebody Kill Me Please," the cursing bits were censored with some guitar sounds. At least I /think/ they were supposed to be guitar sounds, because it sounded really, really awful and jarring. ^^; I want to see the (entire) movie again now. I've seen a couple of his other movies and didn't like them much, but I really like The Wedding Singer.
I wonder how many HP ficcers will decide that they absolutely /must/ rewrite their fics to fit with Order of the Phoenix continuity once it comes out...? Because I've seen people completely revamp their stories after finding out it clashes with canon, and it always baffles me. ^^;;
I guess once OoP comes out, there's probably going to be a lot less ficcing. Which is good in some ways, I suppose, but it's a bit of a shame too.

I don't recognize Riku's seiyuu /at all/, and she apparently hasn't been in many roles either. I really liked Imai Yuka as Riku, so I'm a bit disappointed... I'll reserve judgement for Krad too, since none of the roles I've heard him in are Krad-ish in the least. Anyone know if he's good at playing obsessive psychopaths? ^^;; Rabid Seki Tomokazu fangirls may come after me, but I think I actually prefer Satoshi's new seiyuu. As much as I <3 Seki, he never sounded like Satoshi to me.
Now I'm going to sit around and sniffle pathetically, because Seki Toshihiko won't be Kousuke (the other H___H voice that fit perfectly), though I don't know who plays him yet. I hope Emiko's seiyuu (who was she anyway?) is the same, because she was really, really cute and crazy in the dramas. *hearts*
I'm such a seiyuu h0.

np: Groovy Blue - Dark/Onosaka Masaya [D.N. Angel]

According to someone over at the D.N. Angel mailing list, a few of the anime seiyuus have been announced in the latest Asuka. Okiayu Ryoutarou and Irino Miyu are to play Dark and Daisuke, respectively. I figured most, if not all seiyuu would be different from the cd dramas, but I was really hoping Onosaka Masaya would play Dark for the anime too. It's his H_H voice that got me into the series in the first place (I randomly downloaded Groovy Blue from...somewhere...and promptly got sucked into the evil brain-sucking series), and I really do think he's very talented and absolutely perfect for the part. ;___; Buuuut...if it can't be Onosaka, I have to admit that I think Okiayu might be a pretty good choice for Dark. Considering his pervy!Shigure voice and all. >D On the other hand, Hoshi Souichirou never quite fit my mental Daisuke!voice, so I was kinda hoping it would be someone different. And, and...Irino Miyu~! *spastic* HakuHakuHAKU~<3<3<3 Besides the wubly accountant!dragon from Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi, she also plays Sora in Kingdom Hearts. I have a few video clips of Japanese!Sora, and it sounds like she'll make a very good Daisuke.
I had never been able to find the seiyuu for Kingdom Hearts (the Disney-Square game), and knowing one of them made it so much easier to find the info. *_* Found seiyuu listings here and here. Among others, Sakamoto Maaya (Hitomi from Escaflowne) plays Aerith *sparkles*, Doi Mika (Megumi from Kenshin) plays Daisy Duck and Alice, Kakazu Yumi (Aya from Ayashi no Ceres, Akari from Hikaru no Go) plays Yuffie, Miki Shin'ichirou (Koujiro/James from Pokemon, Allen from Escaflowne, Takumi from Intial D, and Youji from Weiss Kreuz) plays Aladdin (*snrks* sexyvoice!Aladdin?), and what I think is quite possibly the best of them all...Yamadera Kouichi (Spike from Cowboy Bebop, Ryouga from Ranma, and Kaji from Evangelion) is...not only Donald Duck, but also Sebastian, the Beast, the Genie, and Mushu. *dies* XD XD XD

Read the first four chapters of Kaitou Saint Tail at Borders last weekend. Yeah, it's translated by the Evil that is Tokyopop, but it's all I've got. (Speaking of Tokyopop, a while back, someone over at the DNAngel ML said they stole a fan's translations and used it verbatim. I would've asked what series it was, but by the time I read the message, it had been over a month since it was posted. >_>) Anyway, I'm very, very smitten with the series now (making it the third kaitou series I'm sparkly at), and I'm dying to get my grubby paws on some more. As if I needed another series to add to my list of Manga I Will Buy Before I Die... ^^;; Though Sasuga doesn't have any of the tanks listed at all though, so I would need to figure out where the heck I can buy it first. I know Meimi has a few scattered translations of the series, but does anyone know if there are any more floating around the 'net? I really don't want to have to depend on Tokyopop's shoddy translations. _o_

np: Gourmandises album - Alizée
Does anyone know exactly what "alizée" means? My brother (who is guilty of getting me sucked into the world of Alizée-wub) told me, but all I remember is that it's some sort of wind. ^^; And for anyone who hasn't heard her and even vaguely likes pop, I highly recommend her music. Listening to her stuff makes me wish I knew how French pronunciation goes. XD
And I'm going to beg someone to pre-order Harry Potter 5 for me too... Both Amazon and Barnes and Noble are going to have it shipped early so that it arrives on the day of release~ *_*

Whee~! Bloomsbury has officially announced that Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has been scheduled for release on Saturday, June 21st. Also, "All time zones preceding the UK are embargoed until 00:01 am BST (British Summer Time) on Saturday 21 June 2003." Why am I not surprised...? XD;; Also, OoP is about 1/3 longer than GoF, and there's a couple short excerpts from the book at the above link.
I think I'll have to read all the books over again right before it's released, 'cos fandom has completely skewed my perspective. (But that's okaaaay~! XD)
I'm trying to get my parents to buy stock for Scholastic (and maybe Bloomsbury). I just wish I had checked the Leaky Cauldron between appointments today, 'cos Scholastic's already gone up 8.8%. ^^;; My dad's like, "Why? It's always like that...once new books and such are released, the stocks goes up." 9_9

Because a certain someone keeps on bugging me to, more bloggage~
Erm, the song currently playing on the cute Inuyasha and Kagome skin. And when I was swapping skins with Kei-chan the other night, Kaiser!Ken's "Only One" image song just when I had found the Noin Claude skin to send to her. Winamp thinks it's so very amusing. >_>
So now we have Snape the computer on this end, and Draco on that end. I swear, I had nothing to do with the Draco one! Well, besides general fangrrling with Kei-chan about HP, but that doesn't count, 'cos that's a given. XD But I have to ask, if compie!Draco has cute little birdies all over him, what exactly does that say about him? And what about movie!Draco being quite the little klepto? You just watch, your Harry pics will start mysteriously disappearing. XD;; Actually, probably your Draco pics too, narcissistic little snot that he is. (I'd say Ginny pics too, just to tease you, but I get the feeling that if you did have any pics of her, she'd probably be unrecognizable anyhow, you awful Ginny-hater, you. How can you still hate her? She was just cute beyond words in the CoS movie!)
Mmmmm...what else, what else... Scary news about my health. Had an appointment with an immunologist couple weeks back, followed by lots of lovely tubes of my blood taken for tests. (I'm suddenly reminded of Larten Crepsley [vampire] from Cirque du Freak. He keeps vials of blood with him for emergencies.) The follow-up appointment was last Friday. It was basically the immunologist explaining that we have some very solid proof that my immune system is really f*cked up, yay. The worst set of results showed that my normal killer cell functions are just plain awful. That is, what-you'd-expect-in-a-sickly-and-elderly-person awful. Really, really, scared me, but I think I did a pretty damn fine job of acting perfectly normal. Dunno if that's necessarily a good thing, but it would have been pretty embarassing to start freaking out there. Anyhow, I'm starting some new meds that will hopefully make my pathetic killer cells work better. The capsules have some really odd stuff in them. o_o; Such as bovine colostrum (which is, according to m-w.com, the "milk secreted for a few days after [birth] and characterized by high protein and antibody content"), thymus proteins, and matitake & shiitake mushrooms mushrooms. Ah well, as my mom says, better than horse urine. (Er, she used to take that, not me. Not me.)
Nyeh.
And my psychiatrist (seen last Wednesday) also recommended that I start taking a small dose of ritalin, since my memory, concentration, and such are still much worse than normal. (As is, I come from a family of very low attention spans.) So now I can tell people I take ritalin and they'll think I have ADD! Yay? Though if anyone has ADD in my family, it would my sister. Heh. XD
