I want to be the wind... A wind like a breath... At times, I want to be the wind that
fights against you, the wind that dries your tears, or the wind that eases your tiredness.

I want to be a wind like that. I want to fly. I want to sweep up sadness and spread
happiness. When you’re sad, just cry. I’ll be there. When you’re happy, just call. I’ll be there.

But because we are girls, there are times that you get tired. There are times that you hold back
your tears. In times like that, darling, I’m going to come flying down, so hold me in your arms gently.

np: Successful Mission - Hayashibara Megumi [Saber Marionette J Op]

I downloaded this earlier today (or rather, yesterday, I suppose) and just realized that this is the first Hayashibara Megumi song I've downloaded on this computer. And I've had this computer for a year and a half...goodness, I need to go sl0re over her music for a while. I *heart* this song, though I only watched nine episodes of SMJ (13-16 and 21-25...yet the end of 24 still managed to make me cry. Must have been in an emotional mood, I suppose o_o;). This sounds like one of her Slayers songs, actually.

I also have a new forwarding account~<3 I actually applied for it quite a while ago, but it wasn't set up till now. It's kanon@chiharu.nu, probably as a result of reading Meimi-san's translation of Tanemura Arina's Ginyuu Meika not long before I started looking for an email forward... Though I briefly considered negi_ramen (onion ramen! XD;; ...It's a Full Moon wo Sagashite thing, for those of you haven't read it. X3), among other things. ^_O;; I really really <3 Ginyuu Meika. Time Stranger Kyoko and its super rushed story left me rather disappointed... But Ginyuu Meika's a really nice short story. *heart* And as a plus, Akiyoshi-kun (and his speech *ufu*) really cracks me up. XD "Kanon: The No. 1 name that annoys him now!" It was such a nice touch that he took off his glasses for his piano performance and at the end~<3 I rather like the meaning of Chiharu - thousand springs - too. <3

And, um, I'm a bad girl. XD I should /not/ be enjoying this person's Harry Potter fic as much as I am. (And have for the past two weeks.)

"Last Laugh": Percy goes to sleep. Hermione is his new body pillow. "With a happy sigh, he leaned back until his head hit one of the pillows. Ah, goose feathers. Nothing like it."

In the most recent chapter of "Twin Who Cried Wolf," Snape has a Very Bad Day. "To his chagrin, Severus Snape, Head of Slytherin, ex-***** (<--marked out for big huge spoilers from GoF) a man of great intellect and equal importance, had found his wand-brother. In Neville Longbottom." Aww, poor baby. XD

"Lupin's Symposium": Lupin is straight. And horny. See! Lupin be turned on by a ferret! (......Guess which one. XD;; No bestiality, sorry.) "Sirius --- if you're so desperate to find him --- is snogging --- er, I do hope that's not Professor Snape."

"E Pluribus Unum": Author projects really really hard. The Shrieking Shack scene is (somehow) made shippy. And not gay!shippy. (This is actually the one I'm most looking forward for an update. Incidently, it's the only angst fic. Does this mean I'm an angst h0?)

Bad me. *thwack* Bad me. *thwack* Bad author too. Her writing has no right being that good. ...Perhaps I should read some Ron/Hermione fic to atone for my sins.

Wish I could fall asleep again. Fever bad, fever bad. Wasn't a cold. Spring flu that WON'T GO AWAY.

np: I <3 U - The SCANTY - Full Moon wo Sagashite Op Clip

......

While there's something terribly amusing about seeing Takuto and Meroko dancing hideously and wiggling their butts in their respective stuffed animal forms, I really wish they hadn't done the same with Mitsuki. >_O;; And after hearing an entire three syllables (Takuto~!), I really like Meroko's voice. (Though I always imagined her as sounding like Presea in her spastic die-Mokona-die modes.) I still don't like Mitsuki's voice. I actually don't mind myco's singing - I just can't stand her as Mitsuki. _o_

I'm rather disappointed that anime-daisuki hasn't posted any Chobits-related clips. T_T

In other non-anime related news, I've caught a cold, mostly likely from a girl who sits behind me in history and was gone a couple days, then came back to sneeze and cough in my direction all period. I've had a fever all weekend, been sleeping more often than not, and have gotten nowhere near enough homework done. >_<;;

And~, my number one reason for blogging today and best search engine query yet: Eriol/Tomoyo Go at it like Bunnies. XD;;; (Also noticed that Erin-san (2nd) and Tin-san (6th) are in the results. *snrk*)

np: Arima Souichirou I - Sagisu Shiro [Kare Kano]

Was looking at the clock...and I realized, hey, the first episode of Full Moon wo Sagashite has already aired! XD

Arima~, why does your bgm theme have to be so depressing~?

On the way home today, Cavalleria Rusticana (by Mascagni) came up on the cd player...ah...haven't listened to that song in so long. Memories of Kenshin. XD I think I'll go find the mp3 for that. And Bach's Aria. The theme of To Kill a Mockingbird too, if I can find it. I've watched the movie in class the past three days, and the song was stuck in my head all morning.

And! I also saw bluebonnets and primroses today! *nikooo* They're so pweeetty~ I think the seeds must have been purposely planted around the First Colony area (well, the bluebonnets were only in one little area), since I've never ever seen bluebonnets in the Houston area, and though I've seen primroses around here, there weren't nearly as much as there are now. I haven't seen so many primroses since I moved from Arlington seven years ago. I <3 bluebonnets. Pretty color~ <3 <3 <3 I hadn't really taken much notice of the lack of them until I saw them again. ^^;;

Between the time that I ate lunch (my mom was complaining that she was starving, and I hadn't eaten much at school anyway) and had an appointment with the gastrointerologist, I went to Barnes and Noble for a bit. I was browsing through the children's section (I seem to do that a lot lately...), and there was a new mass-market paperback version of Ender's Game there. With an all new entirely too light and fluffy cover so they can gear it at, according to Amazon, 9-12 year olds, grouping it with Harry Potter. Does anyone else see anything wrong with that? O_<;;; Mind, I wouldn't have any problems forcing Ender's Game on Smart (and relatively mature) kids that age (ahaha...which is exactly what I /tried/ to do when I first read it), but most of my peers were still reading things like Goosebumps, The Babysitter's Club, and Roald Dahl when I was that age. >_>

np: Until - Sting [Kate & Leopold Soundtrack]

Got this song at Cindy's prodding, and it's quite fuuuun~<3 I watched Sting perform it at the Academy Awards (I caught the last half hour or so), but promptly forgot about it. It gets muchly the same reaction from me as the Kare Kano ending song - I get sparkly and bob back and forth with the music while singing/humming along with parts that I know. XD Ooh, and I found out a little while back that Yume no Nake E is actually a famous J-pop song by Inoue Yousui (is anyone familiar with his works?) from way back in 1973. Now if only I could find the original version to listen to... _o_

I! Now have! CRACK! On my computer! <3 <3 <3 Was trolling WinMX for Kare Kano mp3s last night, and someone had the entirety of Act 0 (the drama cd that was offered in the La La magazine), and I managed to get all of it, even with my dial-up 56K connection...and the fact that it was late, so I fell asleep about a quarter of the way through. ^^; Translations for Act 0 are at Hontou no Watashi here (the link to the site having Act 0 doesn't work for me, so I didn't get it from there _o_). Haven't listened to the first part, but I like what I hear so faaar~ Asapin message machine: Saa, fly into my embrace~<3 *beeep* Arima: YADA. XD;;

Ooh, also forgot to mention that I read CLAMP's Clover 2 and 3 at Borders a while back. (Cindy, make sure you take a look if you ever go there. Meli has the first one too, so maybe I can force than on you.) Was fun, in a depressing sort of way. ^_o;; I want to see 4 now~ Laaaan. Now why can't X be as good as Clover? _o_

...According to someone on the Ribon ML, there's not just one set of Full Moon wo Sagashite zen-in plushies, but THREE. XO There's a choice between 1) Takuto-neko plushie, 2) Meroko-usagi plushie, or 3) two keychain mascot plushies. I want them ALL. The Takuto-neko one in particular. Waaan~ ;_;

Anyway, I drove for the first time in MONTHS yesterday! ^o^ I had an appointment with my therapist, but my mom completely forgot and told another one of the doctors she'd cover for her during the afternoon. And since I hadn't been feeling dizzy at all the past couple of days, I told her I could drive. Whee, freedom! Not that I actually like driving, but it's nice to be able to drive every once in a while.

Afterwards, went to Barnes and Noble and killed some time there, though I really shouldn't have. ^_^; On whim, I bought a few things - a sparkly Legolas bookmark, complete with the ring tied to the tassel (X3), a pwetty dark green suede pencil case for $4 (it was 50% off...couldn't resist), and the hardcover edition of Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason, which I bought partially because the movie was fun, in a painfully Wrong sort of way (and a Colin Firth and Hugh Grant sort of way XD), partially because of Cassie Claire's Very Secret Diaries, partially because the second chapter's called "Jellyfish at Large" (I get an image of Gourry floating around in his jellyfish costume XD;;), but mostly because it was 76% off. ^_^;; I feel like I've done something horribly wrong by buying and reading this book though. o_o;; But I find it inexplicably amusing... Excerpt, with some snipping: "V. sexy broad shoulders and hairy chest. Not that sex object or anything. Interested in brain. Mmmm. Maybe will put...GAAAAAH! Was Mark Darcy sitting bolt upright yelling 'Bridget, will you stop. Bloody. Staring at me when I am asleep. Go find something to do.'" *snrk* I wonder how much I'm missing from not reading the first book, but that was most definitely /not/ on sale, and the list price for the paperback was twelve dollars. Eep. Then again, that's almost as much as the amount I spent on the bookmark and pencil case and tall Tazoberry and Cream (mmmm...) from Starbucks. >__>;;

np: Love Is a Many-Splendored Thing - Miyazawa Yukino/Enomoto Atsuko [Kare Kano]

From Zahara at the Ribon ML, "Ribon #6 won't come out until May 1st. The zenin is announced in Ribon #5, and it will be a set of little dolls from Full Moon's Takuto and Meroko in their animal form (cat and bunny)." *hyperventilates* Ribon is TAUNTING me. Their sparkly furoku, their sparkly zenin, that Takuto cell phone strap, now this~ *cries* I am really really really considering getting a subscription to Ribon at this point. >__> I need to move to a place that stocks Ribons. A year's worth of subscriptions from Sasuga comes to about $11.50 each, including s/h. >_o;;

Is it pathetic that one of the reasons I'm considering going out of state for college is for the sake of anime? ^_o;; But~ the only anime/manga stores around Houston are Animagic, where just about the only thing worth buying there is the bootleg posters, and it SELLS fansubs *seethe*, and Anime Planet, which I haven't gone to in years, because somehow it just doesn't seem worth it to wade through the parking lot known as downtown Houston just to go there. >_>

The title of this song makes me think of Moulin Rouge. XD;;

Anyway, saw the trailer and other things for the Full Moon wo Sagashite anime here and here. Erm...I'm rather doubtful about Mitsuki's seiyuu too. Doesn't help that she sounds nothing like I imagined her, though at least she doesn't seem to be irritatingly high-pitched like Maron was. Seeing Takuto and Meroko animated in their animal forms was fun though. XD Did they change Mitsuki's transformation thing though? It seems like it was simply Takuto holding hands together and glowy-glowy-ness, rather than, "Here, *slash* driiiink my bloooood~~...in my cute little kitty capsule! *snap!*" *disappointed*

I meant to work much much more than I did this weekend, but sis came home...and started watching Kare Kano...and I couldn't resist. :O So I ended up watching the first 13 episodes again. Sis was scared of Asapin's sexy dance~ Asaba Merryland! XD;; I had already made her listen to the "*snatch* *stompstompstomp* *slapslapslap* Tobacco wa dame! Tobacco wa dame! Tobacco wa dame! Tobacco wa DAMEEEEEE!!!" scene already, but it's so much better in person. X3 I wub Yukino. "Yuujou!" And the scene with Asapin's photo of kindergarten Arima...XD~ "How could you do such a disgusting thing without hesitating?!" "My treasure~ ;_;" "And if we try to get it back, we'll get suspended!" X3 I also noticed this time around that Yukino sings solo for the ending during the first three episodes, but Arima joins her for the fourth. XD I had noticed that it was different, but didn't want to bother going back the first time around.

I also watched the exhibiton skate of the World Championships Saturday with Wiriya and my mom, which was also fun. XD Kaasan kept on commenting on how "cute" Timothy Goebel is and how "good-looking" Alexei Yagudin is, and to hurry up and fast forward to the end of the tape so sis could see Yagudin skate. XD;; Though Yagudin's exhibition program kind of freaks me out. It's a bit tooo bizarre at times for my tastes. I'm usually torn between a o_O;; and *howl* reaction. Michelle's was very pwetty as usual, and with nooo mistakes~<3 It's kind of a shame that Michelle didn't get gold, but she got the silver and now has the most number of world medals (7) than any other American skater! :D Takeshi Honda was wearing suspenders for his very fun exhibition. XD;; Sis boggled at Sasha Cohen, who was wearing a sort of sheer pink material over her stomach, showing off her very prominent six-packs. I really like Sasha's exhibition too, though I wish I could remember the name of the song. >_o; We were singing along to "American Pie" during Goebel's program, and then the song came up on one of the oldies stations that night. XD I should've showed her the Israelian dancers' short program. They skated to a medley including the version of "Tango de Roxanne" from Moulin Rouge, complete with Ewan McGregor singing at the top of his lungs. XD;; Okay, enough sparkling over the figure skating. I'll have to remember to watch Stars on Ice later this week, since I missed it yesterday. It seems that, among others, Ilia Kulik, Todd Eldredge, and Kristi Yamaguchi are shown. XD

Oh, and for anyone interested, I found out yesterday that Megami Kouhousei (Sugisaki Yukiru! XD~) has been showing on Cartoon Network, under the name of Pilot Candidate. It comes on at 11 pm on Saturdays around here. It's been showing since February 23rd, so I've already missed the first six episodes though... I hope they rerun it. ;_;

np: Strength - Koizumi Kouhei [X OVA Ed]

Can the person in Houston using splitrock.net please raise their hand? 'cause it's making really paranoid knowing that someone I don't know of in Houston is looking at this Very Often and could be someone I know sitting around laughing at me. I'd at least like to know who's stalking me. Or something.

Anyway, since I'm listening to this song right now. I've been wondering a while, Cindy, when you say on your blog that you like X, is that the movie, manga, or TV series/OVA? Because as dull as the manga is half of the time, the movie bored me to death. If you have any of the manga, I'd like to mooch off of you, and if you got your hands on the OVA/TV series without telling me, I'll tackle you.

Anyway, I'm Officially back in school now and drowning in make-up work. Two months' worth to do in two months' time. >_O;; I did some of it while I was out, but not nearly enough. _o_... So I'll be reeeaaally busy now and will probably only pop up every now and then on the weekends, pretty much. (Fortunately, I've got a four-day weekend. According to my school calendar, April Fool's Day is a "holiday." o_O;; Now I /know/ that didn't used to be, because I distinctly remember the boys in my fifth grade class trying to do some really dumb pranks.) I've been spending more time doing make-up work the past week than sleeping. Keiko says she saw me in the hallways today, and that I looked "very dead." >___> To top it off, three of my teachers assigned projects this week. My history teacher arbitrarily decided to have hers due April 15th, so that we can suffer too. Evil... And then I have another history project to make up, an English research paper to finish up, another English essay, a 287 study question packet, never mind the piles of quizzes and tests... @_@ Everyone's Doubtful that I can do this, but I've really been working my ass off. I really really want to graduate with my class, and I really really want a quasi-normal senior year.

Geh, I've gotten Doubtful of my chances of getting into really good colleges, what with all this crap and the fact that I've barely been in any clubs at all. I could /never/ find rides freshman year, so I pretty much gave up, last year I almost never went the second semester since I got sick so often and spent the rest of the time staying after to make up tests and crap, and this year, nothing, since I dropped out to do homebound and then half-day. *sigh* So much for NHS... (and SNHS and Mu Alpha Theta and science club and...) I was in all honors classes, but now all but one are dropped, along with completely dropping computer science and pre-cal and physics. I'm not even sure if I'll even be in the top 10% at this rate, deleting the free pass into UT. Bleh... People tell me I shouldn't worry about college right now, but it's impossible not to. Everyone's preparing for their AP tests, but I had to drop out of AP classes. I was making all A's until I had to drop out, even with Mrs. Guest's class, which is notoriously evil. (It's really frustrating to know that I can make A's in all my classes, if I could just go to school even 80% of the time.) Everyone's talking about taking their /second/ SAT this year, since they took theirs in January. I had no idea there was even any SAT in January, thanks to my oh-so-informative friends who NEVER effing call me and are sooo very busy even to write the shortest email or call and talk five minutes during even Thanksgiving and Christmas break.

Blah, I didn't even mean for this to dissolve into this, but I can't stand not getting it out somewhere, and there's not really anyone to talk to. Either people don't really give a crap, or they don't really listen or understand and tell me "don't worry." Which I HATE hearing. I get so upset these days so easily. I'm crying now. When my dad was driving me home from the psychiatrist a few weeks ago, I started crying when he asked me if I'd talked to my friends lately. It literally took about fifteen seconds for me to start crying when the neurologist asked if I'd ever had any thoughts about hurting myself or anyone else. He thinks I'm depressed too, because I really couldn't answer when he asked me what one thing I would want him to change, among other things. Apparently, most people just say something like, "Take the headache away, and I'll be 100% better." I started crying and nearly had an anxiety attack on Monday during the school meeting because Mrs. Shivers, my vice principle, kept on saying AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN that she didn't see how I could POSSIBLY pass because I hadn't done ANYTHING ALL YEAR, and kept on pointing out everything WRONG again, and again, and again. After that, I can't even stand to hear her voice. It doesn't help when I'm trying my best to think that if I work really hard, I'll be able to, at the very least, pass everything, but every keeps shooting me down, telling me I can't possibly do it, I'm so behind, it really won't matter if I graduate a year later... Honestly, if I really am depressed, isn't the first in the rules of Things Not To Do is tell me I can't do it? Especially over and over again? And the people who tell me that they don't see how I can finish everything, because I've missed so much, it'll be too much stress, blah blah blah. HONESTLY. Do these IDIOTS think I haven't gone over this in my mind a million times already? If someone would please tell me something I /don't/ know, it'd be really helpful. Instead of being on lectured on the same CRAP day, after day, after day.

Ugh. Anyway, on the upside, I saw Christina today on the way to first period, and she said she started watching Esca. XD And Cindy started reading HP, though I don't know how far she is now. She had only read the first chapter last time I talked to her online, but that was last weekend. She thinks Dumbledore liking sherbet lemons/lemon drops is funny. XD Keiko has Ribon 2 and 3 to give to me, but I don't know when she'll give it to me. I want more Takutooooo, dammit. All Meghan's Tanemura talk lately has been making me really really want to see more Full Moon (and the last TSK tank). Kitty ears...XD On the other hand, I told Keiko about the Full Moon wo Sagashite anime, I asked her if she's going to have her grandparents record it, but she told me she doesn't watch "that kind of anime." T_T I'm wondering if I should bribe her to do it (yes, she's /that/ spoiled...she wouldn't even be the one recording it) or just wait and hope that people will fansub it. Keiko's would be not-that-good quality anyway, since something above her grandparents' apartment messes up their reception a bit. Which reminds me, I need to bug her endlessly to find all her Inuyasha tapes (they're aaall on different tapes, along with all the other crappy Japanese TV she watches, like the cheesy SMAP shows...) so I can watch them over the summer or something. She asked me a while back if I still wanted to watch them (I stopped way back when they were still showing the arc with the brothers/Shippou introduction waaay in the beginning), and I told her that I didn't watch them because she never /told/ me when she got new tapes. >__>;

Eh, cramping up bad. Must go take Ibuprofen.

np: Kokoro - Joanne Hogg [Xenosaga Episode 1 Ed]

Just a semi-quickie post. I'll wait till I have more free time to post on all the sparkliness of the Esca movie and KareKano (which I have decided is the SPARKLIEST anime ever *_*) and at long last Converting Meli to 100% Harry Potter obsessiveness later. XD

Downloaded this mp3 here the other day. Mmmmm....more Mitsuda Yasunori goodness... CDJapan says the soundtrack's performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Is that just the ending or the entire soundtrack? *_* I need to tell Meli about this OST. I bet she'd buy it without even playing the game because she's such a Mitsuda Yasunori h0. She has the Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, and Chrono Cross OSTs, the latter two of which I got to borrow last Thursday. XD

I got this very amusing search query the other day. Can someone please clarify? XD;;

I also got a query for "fanfic squall leonheart," which I somehow managed to read as "lemonheart." o_O;;

Oops, a bit longer than I expected... ^^;;

Okay, that made me feel better. "Do you really think that's sibling love? Are step-siblings allowed to marry?" I knew I was getting shades of Marmalade Boy. ^_o;; I <3 the Kare Kano parents (especially Tsubasa's 'tousan X3). They're so eager to have grandchildren. XD;;

And I finally got around to visiting Tin-san's ficblog. Wub the crack Arima/Yukino layout. X3 But I don't forgive you for torturing them, you evil, evil girl. (That's a compliment, honest. ^_-)
