I want to be the wind... A wind like a breath...
At times, I want to be the wind that
fights against you, the wind that dries your tears, or the wind that eases your tiredness.
I want to be a wind like that. I want to fly. I want to sweep up sadness and spread
happiness. When you’re sad, just cry. I’ll be there. When you’re happy, just call. I’ll be there.
But because we are girls, there are times that you get tired. There are times that you hold back
your tears. In times like that, darling, I’m going to come flying down, so hold me in your arms gently.

Watch! As Vinita checks her email! Watch! As Vinita experiences a second near-coronary thanks to someone living on the other side of the globe! Watch! As her friends are entertained at her expense! -_-# Checked my tracker this morning, and found someone looking for "jonathan wei" region. Thought, oh, damn, hope that's not someone I know. Only thing listed was the person's IP number, so I let it sink to the back of my mind. A little while later, I checked my email, and almost deleted one, thinking it was spam mail. But nope, it was from, of all people, Jonathan Wei himself. o_<;; Sheesh, coincidences, coincidences. He moved away to somewhere in China almost two years ago, yet I still managed to run into him at a random cheap Vietnamese restaraunt when he came to visit last summer (Jonathan: Hey, you're Vinita~ Vinita: *turn* *scream* OH MY GOD!!! *clutch at heart* *gape* *speechless* Little Brother: *snicker snicker*), and now he stumbles upon this. Called Meli before I had even really read it. (Meli: Hello? Vinita: Meli? OH. MY. GOD~!) Meli finds this all Highly Amusing of course. >_> Especially since he's the fourth person I know to stumble upon this the past five weeks. ~_~ I suppose I should...actually...get around to responding to his email at some point in time... (Meli: Email him! Email him! XD XD XD~) But it's too bizarre, too bizarre~

np: Truth - Tsukiyono Omi/Yuuki Hiro [Weiß Kreuz]
*leers* New D.N. Angel skin by Meghan over at Offramp. Hm. I wonder if Christina would like Sugisaki Yukiru art. XD
I watched South Park for the first time in a couple of years. Hadn't seen the new opening before, and Kyle angsted (in a South Park sort of way) over the thought of losing another friend again. >.>;; Who the heck is the blonde kid? o_O;
So odd thinking that there's only nine episodes of X-files left... I didn't pay attention for a long long time (even before Mulder left..."Bwah? Mulder's GONE?!"), but I'm watching again now that it's nearing the end. The "briiiing us Fox Mulder's heeeaaad~" thing cracks me up, though I suppose it really shouldn't. X3 I wait with bated breath for the day that Mulder makes his appearance. *doki doki doki*
And I finally got around to checking some messages that have sitting around in my mailbox for a while... And now I really really really want the third (and last) volume of Time Stranger Kyoko now~ I've seen everything else but the last special chapter, and since Keiko never got it, I never will unless someone scans it or I get around to buying the dang thing... Actually, I really would've liked to get my hands on the winter Ribon that had it because I heard it came a TSK furoku poster of all the Strangers. ;_; *waaan*
Uh, anyway. I thought all those things about Sakataki getting drunk on chocolate and such (he needs to be around Chokora more~<3) from the Complete Strangers blog was made up, but it was in that special chapter. XD;; I must~ see the Go! Go! Hizuki omake strip~ (BTW, Cindy, the uber-cute guy in my buddy icon is Hizuki XD) The one everyone was talking about, with the "otome ja nai kedo
otomeza!" ("not a
virgin, but his sign is Virgo") line. XD~ I'd like to know how he got the time to do the deed too. I get a fun image of one of the castle maids seducing him. XD And there's more info on the last special at Strangers 'till Now in the very very spoilerific character info section. More fun info on the omake strips, like Hizuki talking about he can take just about anything on, but the one thing he's afraid of is Ui-hime. And then Ui ambushes him from a tree with a net. XD And another, where he sees Ui plucking petals from a flower. Panicking!Hizuki assumes he's hurt her feelings, thinking she's doing the "He loves me, he loves me not..." thing, so he runs off in shock and "bawling his eyes out." When in fact Ui's just trying to decide what to eat for dinner - "Tonight's dinner: meat, fish, meat, fish..." ...like Kyoko says, he deserves it. >D Though I have to feel sorry for him at night. Sleeping in the same bed would give Ui lots of chances to jump him, I would think. XD XD XD I am very much looking forward to Meghan's Hizuki Epic. *doki doki doki*
I also found out that Meli has the same birthday as Sakataki. XD;; Meanwhile, I have the same birthdate as vampires, Scary people, and such. Like Tomo. And Vincent Valentine. And Onosaka Masaya-sama. X3 *leer* Daaaaku. <3
Waitasec. I don't know if Kyoko becomes Queen or not, but if she doesn't...Hizuki as King. O_O;; ph34r.
24 days till the Full Moon wo Sagashite anime...(that's Saturday April 6 at 7:30 AM for anybody in Japan). Really really really want to see how it turns out~ Hopefully not butchered as badly as KKJ. *shudder* It's being done by Studio DEEN, which did Star Ocean EX, Kenshin, and Fruits Basket. I hope it's done as well as Furuba, but that's probably too much to hope for. -_- I'm going to beg Keiko to have her grandparents record it. She probably won't get Ribon 4 till mid-April, so must! Tell her! I want to know if Kitty!Takuto has the same voice as Human!Takuto. XD Negi Ramen! XD;; And seeing Eichi-kun animated is almost like seeing Hizuki animated! Okay, not really, but Eichi is a dead ringer for Hizuki at least. *_*

np: The Show Must Go On - Jim Broadbent, Nicole Kidman, Anthony Weigh [Moulin Rouge]
This song is really fun to sing along to~ XD It's on the second Moulin Rouge soundtrack, which was released just two weeks ago. ...I don't actually have it though. (I'm bad. _o_) I think I might get it (or the first one, for that matter) next time I go to some store that sells it for less than the list price though... *_* It looks like there'll be at least one more soundtrack though, because I can see there's still key songs missing just from looking at the track list. The Sound of Music/Green Fairy scene and finale come to mind... And I would taste my first glass of...absinthe.
Anyway, I went to have a blood test and a sonoscope on my abdomen done this morning. If the ultrasound doesn't show anything, and my stomach doesn't get better the next couple of weeks or so, I'll have to have tube stuck down my throat and into my stomach to see the heck is going on in there. >__<;; My doctor's not quite as worried by the headaches and dizziness, since that goes along with the whole CFS thing, but nobody has any idea why the heck my stomach has been hurting the past two months. *sigh* At least I'm not throwing up anymore, but I had to withdraw off my anti-depressants for that (which really sucked sucked sucked by the way...it took an entire month despite the low dose, and I had withdrawal effects from HELL), and I think going without the happy pills, as low a dose as I was on, is having ill effects in other ways. Eurgh.
I was searching for a book to read before I went out to the hospital, and ended up going back to my old standby of the past five months when I can't decide on anything else...Prisoner of Azkaban. And of course, when I'm just reading it for a bit, I always go the Lupin bits. XD~ "Ron was about to answer back when Professor Lupin stirred. They watched him apprehensively, but he simply turned his head the other way, mouth slightly open, and slept on." Kya~<3 I don't automatically envision Lupin-sensei as Ewan McGregor, but I still like to do so occaisionally. *_* (Which will make me even more disappointed if he's not cast.) And the "embraced **** like a brother" scene. ...yeah. *_* (Brother, riiight. *snrk*) Oh, P-san, as far as I can tell, the news about Ewan being considered by Columbus for Lupin isn't just a rumor - it's posted in the trivia section of his bio at the Internet Movie Database, which I'm pretty sure only posts sure things, since HPGalleries.com and The Leaky Cauldron always count things as official once they're posted at the IMDB. And nope, I haven't seen Branaugh in Much Ado About Nothing...^^;; I've seen him in a couple other things (where he wasn't very Lockheart-ish), so I think I'll just wait to see the movie to decide how much I like him. Or maybe I should just Much Ado About Nothing. ^^;
Sis was home for her spring break last week (mine's this week...), so I forced Moulin Rouge and Goblet of Fire on her (not that I exactly had to force the latter on her). She insisted on watching Rush Hour 2 first, despite my protests and warnings about Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan singing. But I had fun watching the outtakes and gay clothes salesman scene again anyway. I also got a few more fun outtakes when I ordered it on pay-per-view a while ago, including another with the salesman. XD She liked Moulin Rouge, and even spotted her tearing up at the end. X3 She cringed when she heard the "love is like oxygen" scene at the beginning. >D Kekeke. And then I rewinded it back the the Elephant Love Song Medley after we had finished it so we could cackle over it again. She likes that scene much more, now that she's actually heard more than Ewan singing the "all you need is love~<3" She wants to buy the soundtrack. XD XD XD And she smacks her forehead and the like everytime she sees/hears him anywhere else now because she automatically thinks of him as Genki!Christian. I just cackle and revel in it. *_* Watching the new Star Wars trailer: "Augh! I heard him!" "XD XD XD" I also caught him in a British movie called "Brassed Off" on STARZ (it was a free preview weekend) and cackled everytime he appeared. He whistled in it too. XD My mom kept asking me why I was watching such a "pitiful movie."
Much to my dismay, Sis told me about something that I miraculously managed not to hear before about one of the band directors that left after my freshman year and really really could have lived without knowing. >_o;; After having for him for two years, she said it always seemed like Mr. Brown would be around for forever (she was really shocked when I told her he wasn't around anymore), and then she heard recently from someone at college (from another school, no less) that he slept with a student and got fired. Gck. Her opinions on the matter: "Why would anyone even WANT to?! It's an insult to flute-players everywhere!" <--flute-player
I finished The Amber Spyglass and The Shadow of the Hegemon recently. Good stuff. <3 I fairly sparkled at what I call the second amaretto scene in The Amber Spyglass. Must find more Pullman stuff to read. I particularly like this excerpt from Shadow of the Hegemon:
"How did a nun get so good at lying?"
"It isn't lying to tell a bureaucrat whatever story it takes to get him to do his job properly."
Sister Carlotta's so cool. XD My brain boggled at the mentioning of Petra fantasizing over Ender and Bean/Petra. o_x;; I think my brain has decided it can take the idea Petra liking Ender in That Way and wanting to spend her life with him, because it's Ender, afterall, but Petra, Miss "I'm the only one with balls around here," fantasizing about raising children with Ender was...a bit much. And Bean/Petra...oh, my brain bleeds. They were sort of just joking about it at the end, but stiiiiill. ;_; Out of a sort of morbid fascination, I looked at the Orson Scott Card section of Fanfiction.net, and there's a Bean/Petra fic under the romance genre. "Bean was stunned at how feminine she looked." "Dink, she thought, Dink Dink Dink... how could he? After all we went through, after all that we WERE to each other, how could he have just up and dumped me, no explanation, and through an EMAIL, no less!" *claws at eyes* I don't know if that's the worst fic I've ever read, but it's certainly the one that's gotten the biggest negative reaction out of me. I /still/ have shivers running through my body, and my stomach is rebeling against me.
I think I'll go eat some Marshmallow Rice Krispies Treats, or something, to make myself feel better after reading that. >__<;;

np: Instant Karma - Weiß
Woohoo! I'll be watching the Escaflowne movie with a few of my friends Thursday afternoon~! Surprisingly enough, I'm getting a ride (driving is a no-no when one gets dizzy simply from watching figure skaters spin on television) with Christina, who I never knew watched any anime at all until today...in fact, I distinctly recall her being weirded out the very few occaisions I sparkled about it the past six years I've known her. ^^;; (This is what I get for being sick so much the past year...I miss out on everything. _o_) Apparently she watched a bit of Escaflowne when it showed on Fox (Christina the Saturday morning cartoon watcher...who knew? XD) and is at least mildly interested in watching the movie. And she really really likes CLAMP's art (and done a bit of CLAMP-style art herself - haven't seen it myself, but I know she's really good XD). I hear she ogled the CCS artbook I gave Meli for her birthday and fairly sparkled when she heard I have the second one. XD;; Yes, Christina, come to the dark side~<3

np: Kitto Wasurenai - Weiß
*snickers* From "Something Missing" chapter 15 (the same one with the adroitly line):
"By the time Ken reached the basement, Yohji had found it necessary to literally sit on their teammate as Omi tried to
reason with him."
"Yohji swore, quickly altering his grip on Ran as the younger man tried to wriggle free."
"What are we going to do with him?" Ken demanded. "We can't possibly hold onto him until he decides to calm down. It could take _days_!"
I'm sure I sound weird for saying this, but I don't like the word "adroitly." o_<;; It just seems to me like such an awkward and clumsy-sounding word for something that means deftly, skillfully, and the like. >.>;;
Kyahaha~ I <3 this song. I just downloaded it again (it was on the other computer that was given to Sis), and now I'm just reveling in hearing Genki!Ken singing "Bo~ku wa caravan~!" It cracks me up that Genki!Ken sounds just like Genki!Chichiri a lot of the time. XD;; *sings* Boooku~ wa caravan~

np: Kami wa Taisetsu na Mono wo Kizutsukeru/God Hurts Those He Loves - Fujimiya Aya/Koyasu Takehito [Weiß Kreuz]
*boggle* W0000t! Angelcities decided to let the images work again. ^_^v
I just found this song today. Very cool and very Aya. XD The first four lines (provided by Jey):
No matter the blossom, someday it will wilt
No matter the dream, someday it will fade
No matter the love, someday it will cool
No matter the star, someday it will cease
Yup, definately very Aya. ^_o;; Jey says the translation of the title's probably in fact "God Hurts Those I Love" despite what he originally thought. The first fits the series in general, but the latter fits Aya better, I think. I don't think Aya would be so sure of the idea of God loving him. ^^;;

np: Elephant Love Song Medley - Ewan McGregor & Nicole Kidman [Moulin Rouge!]
My dad's in denial. On Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: "I can read it leisurely! I'm not addicted!" *snrk* Right. This coming from the person who plowed through Prisoner of Azkaban even faster than I did. He started one afternoon and finished that night, despite his claims of being very very busy that week.

np: Elephant Love Song Medley - Ewan McGregor, Nicole Kidman, Jamie Allen [Moulin Rouge!]
I actually typed this up the other day (Sunday morning, I think?), but never got around to posting it. ^^;
Yes! This song is just the most wonderful thing! *_* If I had my own country, this would be the national anthem. <3 Sis is coming home within the next couple of days, and I'm going to her ambush her as soon as possible with Moulin Rouge (which I watched from the first time just a few weeks ago on pay-per-view). I was (in her words, not mine), "Eviiiiiil!!!" and made her listen to McGregor singing, "Aaall~~ you need is loooove~~<3 <3 <3" over the phone over and over again, so all she knows of the movie, besides the previews, is the very beginning of this song. I reminded her not to forget that it was Obi-Wan Kenobi singing. >D
And I plan to tell sis about the rumours of him being considered to play Lupin-sensei as I force Moulin Rouge on her. XD I didn't understand why everyone was going nuts over the news/rumour of Colombus playing "phone tag" with McGregor's agent until I watched Moulin Rouge. Yeah, I ogled him as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the theaters, dorky braid (which I like anyway XD) and all, but I didn't remember anything else about him. Moulin Rouge made me see the light. *_* Nothing would amuse me more than a sexy Scottish Lupin-sensei who sings "all you need is love~<3" and "we could be lovers~<3" at the top of his lungs. X3 And since I believe in Lupin with long hair, Ewan with long hair. But if they pull another Hugh Grant on us, I will not be amused. I'm still Bitter about that. Because~ Hugh Grant /is/ Lockheart. And he's wonderful eyecandy. Stupid other movie. T_T
Muffled footsteps were echoing up through the floor - someone was moving downstairs.
"WE'RE UP HERE!" Hermione screamed suddenly. "WE'RE UP HERE - HELP US REMUS LUPIN - YOU'RE OUR ONLY HOPE--"
The thought of Hermione with big braided buns at the sides of her head is just wrooong. ;_; And yes, that's taken word by word from the book, up until the "Help us Remus Lupin."
In other Harry Potter news, I now have my very own copy of Goblet of Fire~!!! Though I'm quite aware that my dad bought it more for himself than me. "Oh, Vinita, you want the fourth Harry Potter book, right? Right? Let's stop by the bookstore on the way home." Translation: "I really really want it, but I won't admit it, so I'll pretend that I'm buying it for you. You /do/ want it, right?" I went to the children's section to get it, but I think he was embarassed to go to the check-out with it. I swear his eyes glazed over a bit when he saw just how freaking big it is. XD;; Since he couldn't wait for the paperback version of GoF to come out, I think it's safe to assume that I'll be getting the last three in hardcover. Whee, I have officially Converted one person to Harry Potter!
Janaki-san, my eyes are glazing over at the news. I've actually only seen one Miyazaki film (in the theater, dubbed on tape, and in raw Japanese XD), but I've been dying to see Sen to Chihiro since it came out in theaters. And I don't think I've ever told you how much I envy your mad knitting skillz. Well, I do. And I love the blinding pink hair. X3
Maybe I should start mentioning Apolo Anton Ohno too. Because I would <3 having those kind of search queries. I still get a disturbing amount of searches from really scary (and dumb) Daniel Radcliffe stalkers. >__> And I get even more searches for Digimon Tamers pr0n (Takato/Ruki ones) than CCS lately, which is really quite amazing. >_o;; And on Apolo, I looked him up on Ebay the other day, and there were auctions going at ridiculously high prices - for a signed Apolo bandanna and a very sparkle-worthy 2x3 foot poster of him looking even more J-rocker-ish than usual. XD;;
Also... *kirarara~n* Esca on the big screen! Watch this if you have the chance, Cindy! Everyone else too! And Cindy, it's an alternate-universe movie, so you don't even have to watch the very good series, which I've *ahem* loaned you for several months. *hint hint* (That's your cue to watch it over spring break, you know. C'mon, it's made by the same studio as Bebop, and Kanno Yoko made the music! What more do you want?!) It's dubbed of course, but still~ *_* I'm not even sure if I'll be able to see it, since it only shows from the 1st to the 14th around here (according to amctheaters.com), it's not exactly at the closest theater (about 35 minutes away, according to Yahoo! Maps XP), and my parents probably won't want to see it (then again, I persuaded them to let me watch Mononoke Hime), but I'll certainly try~<3
*sigh* I'm still sad that I missed my last chance to watch Moulin Rouge in theaters though - the 28th was apparently the last day at AMC theaters around here. *sniffle* I had two chances to watch it recently too, since my mom went out to the theater on two different occaisions. I just wasn't feeling well enough to go out though. ;_;
I know there was more I wanted to say, I just can't remember. XP Ah, well. Perhaps some Swiss Lindt hazelnut chocolate will help me remember...*_*
