It's raining heavily again. Another April shower....makes you almost feel romantic, with the sky looming, carrying the heavy rain-burdened clouds and spraying it all over the garden city of Singapore. Plus the sun is still shining even though it's raining. You can see like a zillion rainbows here and there. Somehow, reading angsty fics when it's raining makes it even more fun, even though it's rather cliche. But then again, cliches are true, ne? XD

Funny something

Errmm...recipe first, okay? :)

Basic milkice:

1 bowl of plain full cream milk
2 tablespoons of icing sugar

1. Mix/Stir and freeze for 3 hours.

Types of flavourings:

Toffee shards- Heat 1 cup of sugar and maple syrup, pour onto cookie sheet, when it hardens, crack into bits and add it into milkice.

Chocolate fudge- Heat 2 bars of chocolate,add icing sugar till sticky, pour over milkice.

Fruitice- Freeze any fruit except bananna, watermelon and anything over 75% of water. Smash into milkice and eat.

Sticky Jam - melt 2 tablespoons of any jam you like and pour over.

PeanutButterChoco - melt chocolate and magarine //as seen in the normal chocolate// ratio: 1 magarine (spoons) : 2 chocolate (bars 40oz). When still hot, stir in 2 spoons of peanut butter. Pour over milkice.

Milkice tastes like milky ice kachang, and it freezes into little bits ^^V It's pretty healthy since it's just frozen milk and sugar.

Waaahhhh...Love chocolate. Look, if you want chocolate milkice //milk + ice, see?//, use chocolate milk~!!! Suikodden III is really cool, since there are 3 stories, sepearted into chapters and all very very very playable. The graphics are also FAN-TAST-IC!!!!!!!=) The music is also amazingly beautiful and the fighting system is more or less the same as Skies of Arcardia//Dreamcast//. Might irriate FF fans who are used to ATB and turned based but it's very fun~!

Caramel Pears ^^V

1 pear *doesn't need to be ripe, in fact, firmer better*
Sugar //look, most of Tsu's food have sugar in it, which explains constant sugar highs//

1. Peel, slice and clean pears, cover them generously with sugar

2.Throw them into the mircowave for 1 minute until soft and in a puddle to sugar ^^V //it bubbles beautifully~!!! Oh SUGAR~!!!!//

3. Put them gently into the oven/toaster for 5-7 mins, when you see the base of the pears bubblinga nd brown, turn them over or they'll get -burnt- which is digusting in my opinion. Oven: 100 deg celsius.

4. //optional// wait till it cools, add ice cream, mascrapone, or other various yummy stuff ^^V.

PS. Soaking them in rum is a pretty good idea too.

PPS. The plate which went into the mircowave aka Sugar Puddle, use a chopstick and make your own toffee! Cos it's just sugar mainly and it's awfully chewy and nice ^^v //another sugar item//.

Okay, I know many people like Pringles and bread. Did ya know that it goes really well as a sandwhich??? Here's the //very digusting// yummy, PRINGLE SANDWHICH~! :p

Pringle Sandwhich

1 packet of chips //any kind, twisties and fries are not bad too//
Bread with cheese
*optional* Ketchup or pasta sauce

Toast the bread with cheese. Then add pasta sauce and smash the chips into bits. Add the bits on to cheese sanwhich. And PESTO! Done...

Anyways, talked to Alex an awful lot and realized that she's really great! She wanted me to write down all my recipes onto my blog ^^;; //Tsu is way lazy and her cooking is usually less than 5 mins and her recipes usually involve SUGAR// Anyways, here are my faves:

Milk Chocolate //really//<

4 cup of full cream milk
Hershey's chocolate chips

1.simmer the milk and keep stirring to prevent curdling.
2.Once steam starts rising, add chocolate chips *as much as you like*. More chips, thicker. Less chips, thinner
3.Once everything is melted pour into glass and serve. Or cool it and serve with ice for iced chocolate ^^V Enjoy~
Note: NEVER BOIL CHOCOLATE!!!!!// it becomes grainy and there's no way to save it//

Icy yummy summery thing

Any fruit //personally, I like strawberry and cherry and mangoes! they rock!//
Any ice cream

Freeze the fruit after washing it. Make sure the fruit is dry when you freeze it, or you'll have a hell time getting it OFF the plate ^^;; trust me on this one.

Usually, it's 3 hours freeze time. Take the fruit out, mush it and put it in a mug/cup/bowl, throw ice cream on top and chocolate sauce *optional* and tuck in~!

Chocolate sauce

//This is really useful, as a fondue, on ice cream, with milk, dunked in bread...etc//
Chocolate *bitterseet baking Hershey's is CHOICE but leftover Xmas chocolates also work*
Margarine or butter, 2 table spoons *this is for 100g of choco*

Melt in the mircowave for 1 min. Even if it doesn't look melted, stir it with the margarine and it becomes wonderfully smooth, if it' still too thick, add more margarine. Please be careful or the chocolate will become grainy...//which tastes HORRIBLE >.
