**This Is Not Inbreeding No Really It's Not**

When Trish Roberts was 14, she learned she was born without a uterus, leaving her unable to bear children. "We told her at that time, if the good Lord was willing, I would carry for her when the time came," said her mother, Sharon Dunn. Roberts and her husband, Mike, had a frustrating experience trying to adopt a child three years ago and then were reminded of a woman who carried twins for her daughter. The couple, both 25, took Dunn up on her offer to be a surrogate mother. On Thursday, Dunn gave birth to her twin granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Shelby, an event which is not exactly inbreeding and not really incest but would seem to have crepy icky overtones of both, but which is also apparently not that uncommon, for your own mother to bear your children using your egg and your husband's sperm, but apparently the good Lord was willing so that makes everything all right and not the slightest bit bizarre, despite how God is right now shaking His giant goddess head and saying no no no, that's not what I meant at all, and let's not even think of those poor kids and their imminent confusion and psychotherapy, I mean, ewww.

This has been making the rounds via Cruel Site of the Day, so you probably have seen it. But I'm posting it anyway, for two reasons. 1) It's just hysterical, and people need to let their teens experiment with dildos, etc rather than getting knocked up by Johnny Football in the backseat of his Impala, and 2) it's the only site I've found that hosts Dan's column and also provides a reasonable archive of his past columns. Check it out.

Maybe I'll feel different when I have kids of my own, but until then, let 'em play with the sex toys. It beats Johnny Football.
