And here's the turtle that I can't afford because he's 80 bucks and between 40 and 80 overnight shipping form Nevada! :( Not to mention another $200 or so for tank stuff.

I've been researching pet turtles for 4 or 5 days now and I found the one I wanted, but in reality I can't afford him at all.

Puppy at the Humane Society that we can't have because our building doesn't allow dogs!

Man, we made gay marriage illegal in Wisconsin. So lame. I still don't know what they're even basing that decision on. Like what information do they have that would lead them to believe it should be illegal? There's no harm to anyone. There's nothing illegal involved. They're just like "eh, you know what we're going to go ahead and decide that's against the law." Bleh.

On the plus side, that Vernon Robinson, of my last post, was not elected.

Some thick-headed old fool's political ad

I bet this Vernon Robinson guy, Repulican of course, thinks we should still have slavery, and women should wear dresses and make their husband's dinner promptly at 5. Home Ec is for girls and Science and Math are for boys. And fear the Japs!

Welcome to 2006. Women can vote, and they wear pants. People are gay, "aliens" do our dirty work for pennies a day, and DOCTOR Condoleeza Rice is a black woman! Aw snap.

The same day, the Director of Libraries at UWM asked to put my video up on the library website.

Also someone suggested I submit it to a video contest for Coca-Cola involving average, household things moving in weird ways, but they only wanted 45 second clips.

I searched my video on Google and came up with over 21 places it's linked. Blogs, news feeds, the Librarian and Information Science News site. Crazy.

The associate executive director of this organization is going to use clips of or all of my Interval Library video in a presentaton she's doing to library audiences from high education. Cool!

Bleh, I don't remember how html works anymore. I took off the tagboard because it was popping up some login crap. But I can't remember how to center the whole frame. Oh well.

We picked 48 pounds of apples a week or so ago. We still probably have a good 40 of them.

I think there's a new statue up over by the lake... of a GIANT chicken or turkey. Like, plucked and ready to go into the over kind of turkey or chicken. It was very odd. And very large.

We went to see Fearless tonight. It was very good.

I'm working on casting and getting the locations secured and schedule drawn up for my own movie.
