NBC is auctioning props and wardrobe from their shows which are all apparently coming to an abrupt end from the writers' strike.
NBC auctions
It'd be awesome to own one of the paintings from Heroes... but yeah, they're up to multiple thousands of dollars 6 days before the bidding ends.

Things I'm still waiting on:
ChillerTV to announce the finalists
KoolPrint to acknowledge my emails and do something about my screwed up business card prints.
The money from the last PA job direct deposited into my account.
A job through a company across from Bluemark to contact me. :/
People to respond with interest about a new film contest we should enter.
I hate waiting for important things that should have already happened. All but one of those should have come through days and days ago. bleh!

02:55 a.m.
Ugh, the past week I think I've worked more for the least amount of immediate and monetary reward than I ever have.
Up until this week I was at least working two jobs, and then filling my spare time with a dozen other things. Now I'm down to one job because the temporary one ended a month early.
But this week alone I've vacuumed, did laundry, cleaned the guinea pig cage, vacuumed some more, washed dishes, loaded and unloaded the dishwasher, etc etc. All the household chore stuff. And it repeats because as I've been at home most of the week, I'm making new messes. I'm also the only one doing it...
While things are drying or washing or whatever, I've finished editing, color correcting, sound correcting, exported, reexported, reexported, and released Orientation for upload to Youtube. Then I'd spend a day at Bluemark editing, watching footage, cutting up interviews, talking with potential clients who are really weird... and that takes most of the day. 5 or 6 hours. Then I come home, clean some things, eat, start capturing our new short that's going to be submitted to Channel101. Then that lasts until 2 and 3 and 4 am. Hence, the hour of this post. Then much of the next day was spent getting the word out on Orientation, getting people to watch it, posting it here and there.
Going back and forth to the post office to send dvds of stuff I've sold, calling back people interested in the thing I'm selling on Craig's List, emailing about my invoice I haven't gotten a check for in a month, calling and emailing about my business cards that haven't been shipped in a month.
When I'm not at Bluemark editing, I'm at home either capturing the new short, exporting or doing something with Orientation, and then I spent half the day yesterday and until 4am and almost all day today exporting over and over at 35 minute intervals of tests to get The Body in Burlap ready for a special project. I have 7 days to finish editing the new project, two of which are shot because I work all day, and then some of those days I have to go to Bluemark because they're going to start shooting interviews and the project I'm working on is getting back into the foreground, which is really exciting. I didn't get to do the graphics stuff I wanted to do for Orientation because I had to quick finish it so I could start the new project. And none of this is my Senior Project yet, which I still need to finish.
All of this is even enjoyable, which is why I can continue to do it and only make $400 a month. But it's just, well kind of funny and sad that now that I finally get to do what I wanted to do and I can't actually make a living off of it.
Tomorrow I have to work from 10:30am to 6 or so pm, see if I can get into Bluemark and work a few hours, come home, recapture all the footage that fucked up in the batch capture and decided to be 59.94 instead 23.976, and then start cutting it because I'm running out of days already, capture the new footage they're shooting, clean the guinea pig cage that needed to be done today. And then tomorrow it's mostly all that stuff again, minus the guinea pig cage which hopefully would stay clean more than one day. Also, since it's Mitch's birthday party Sunday, I'll probably just end up coming home from work and going there for the rest of the night.
I'm also waiting on responses for an editing job and a PA job so I can make enough money to pay the rent this month.
And now it's 3am and dudes below or next to us or something have started blasting R&B.
