[Wednesday, July 25, 2001 :: 12:40 a.m.] Alright. So I lied. I'm posting again... :)
I love having tiffs with people. I love flame wars.
I've been trying to come up with ideas for the Kenaz project. I have no idea what I wanna do.
I'm still struggling through email..
I worked a little on LJS Pages. Still not sure where that page is gonna go...
I guess that's it. How boring.. *yawns*
[Monday, July 23, 2001 :: 07:31 p.m.] Oh, I forgot to mention... I'm planning a major redesign of pretty much all of my sites. Go here to read about it. That probably means I'll be away. I'll write a huge update when I get back, though. See ya then...
[Monday, July 23, 2001 :: 07:12 p.m.] Alright, updates:
LJS Pages: I've added a ton of sites to the links list. Go check it out! I'm also planning to reset the tag so that the pages don't pop up in another window. I'll get to it one day. *g*
That's about it. You don't know how hard it is to scour the web looking for those damned links unless you've actually done it. *sighs*
[Sunday, July 22, 2001 :: 03:41 p.m.] *sighs in relief* I finally finished setting up my sister's page for her: click. Don't blame me for the weirdness of the design. She drew it out, I made it.
I'm still working on my mail, but at least now I'm working from posts a couple of days ago instead of three weeks ago. I'm getting there. Only 214 left, which is great! *g* Of course, I do need to respond to all of my personal mail, which I've let build up until I can barely see past them. *sighs*
I worked a little on Night World Clubs. Added some people who put up the code. I'll probably run through my RPGs and start emailing people. Maybe a few of them will join...
I worked on Camino Palmero. I joined The Calling's forum, and I wanted to have a decent page to add to my link. *grimaces* Oh, well. It's okay. I added a guestbook, too. Those people love to talk.
If I'm supposed to be beta-reading for you, I'm sorry. That's some of the personal mail I have to respond to. Adia, I'll get my response to the collab project, too. More personal mail.
What else? Out of sheer boredom the other day, I counted up how many lists I was on. RPGs: 83. Mailing lists: 97. I used to be on more. Now you know why I'm always behind on mail. *g*
Two people IMed me yesterday. One was from Saigon, and the other I didn't even bother to respond to. It's nice to know that there are people out there who are willing to speak Vietnamese with me, but please. I can barely speak, much less write it. My grasp of that language is not great.
That's all for now. Wasn't that enough to tide you over? Sheesh.
[Friday, July 20, 2001 :: 11:51 a.m.] Sorry it's been so long since I've written. I have my excuses. *g*
I'll try to get some more done with various sites and stuff, but my main goal right now is to get rid of the buildup of email over the past few weeks. I still have mail from June, for God's sake!
[Saturday, July 14, 2001 :: 08:43 p.m.] http://ryanlederman.com/GirlsEvil.jpg
*lmao* I got this from a "friend" (I've never met him and only talk to him when he's insulting me) who obviously has too much free time on his hands. It's the mathematically-correct formula for why girls are evil. Hilarious.
And if you want to join this guy's mailing list: Click. Rating: R, for very foul language, implied sex, graphic violence, and overall R-ness. There ya go. *g*
[Saturday, July 14, 2001 :: 08:04 p.m.] [This was posted on the Enclave Nadir mailing list:
Alright, so I figure I'm here, I might as well talk. (And try to be normal about it.) I'm not even close to catching up on all that mail of mine. *sniffles* How sad. I've been busy working on my websites, that's why! *shrugs* Something to fill in the hours with...
I'm really hungry right now.
I need to find some... spaghetti! I have a craving for spaghetti!
Oooh, I got one of the Zodiac Ty Beanie Babies! I'm the rooster! Anyone else got that?
Why is there a camera sitting right here? And why is there still film left in it?! (Oh, no, the photo-addicted freak hasn't used up all her film yet! AHHH!)
*blinks*
NO!!!!!!!! Don't take my pencil! *sobs* No...
*claps* YAY! I GOT MY PENCIL BACK!
*blinks again*
I guess I should go check the rest of my mail.
(Did you think that was normal?)
[Wednesday, July 11, 2001 :: 10:18 p.m.] Train's on Leno tonight! Train' on Leno tonight! Train's on Leno tonight! (Do you get the message?)
I've been tackling all that damned email buildup. Not done by a long shot, but I gotta get through all of it sooner or later. I'm hoping sooner. I still have to develop RPG personas for about five RPGs, so that's what my mind is gnawing over. Geez...
I got the Camino Palmero CD tonight, plus Fuel's older one (the one with "Shimmer" and "Sunburn" on it), Dave Navarro's CD and Brand New Immortals. All under ten bucks. More music for less. How awesome is that? *g*

Yes, I do actually do this blog as it was originally meant to be used. This is another random site I found a while back. You wanna kill pop-up ads on your site? This is the place to find a code that can do it! I'm actually thinking about using some of it, but I haven't really had time to think much about it. You should check it out if you wanna repress the evil ads!
On another note, I'm at my grandmother's house now. Fun. If you wanna read about it, go to my journal.
And last note: I'm finally starting to dig through some of the mail that's been piling up. It doesn't help that I'm not at home around my resources, but I think I've brought everything here. ::crosses fingers:: Let's hope I can make it through w/o a drive back home.
[Tuesday, July 10, 2001 :: 10:41 a.m.] I really hate Yahoo!... Now it's Yahoo! Geocities that isn't working for me. *grrr* I was planning to work some more on the RPG page, but no go. *sighs* Damn Corporate America to hell.
[Tuesday, July 10, 2001 :: 01:45 a.m.] http://geocities.com/nightworldclubs/rpgs.html
I've been working on a links page for just LJS RPGs. It's gonna be an addition to my NWC site. ::yawns:: I was going to put up all the RPGs I had, but sleep calls me away...
[Monday, July 9, 2001 :: 09:20 p.m.] Aii. Adia, heads up. This is my response. ::smiles:: Oh, for those of you who don't know (because I never tell you things and just assume you can read my mind) Adia and some others are trying to--in their words--"revitalize the LJS community." I guess I should help, ne? (Since I'm the Queen of LJS mailing lists and everything... ::grins::) Alright, here's goes! ::cracks knuckles and settles in for massive typing::
LJS ring or clique
I have no problem with this, but I think that having both a ring and a links page is redundant. Also, the deal with rings: Most people don't bother signing up for 'em. Don't ask me why; I love 'em to death. But some people just don't like filling out the forms or something. I bug the hell out of people to join my NWC webring, but ya just can't get all of them.
mailing list
Adia (or is it Katie? I'm confuzzled...) I've told you my theory about mailing lists. Maybe I should repost. (It's that assumption thing kicking in again.)
Adia: "Linda Marie and I were going to start up a new mailing list, but do you think this is needed? Or do people just need to know which ones are chatty?"
Me: "I think just the chatty ones. Adding another mailing lists gives the impression that we think none of 'em are good enough. But having a mailing lists for the interested parties to discuss stuff is cool. I know LM has her Eyes in the Dark mailing lists soo..."
It's promotion all around!
message boards
I don't really like message boards, but if you make an active one, then I'll sign up for a name. That reminds me: You guys should check out the Yahoo! Clubs. There are a few that are still actively running. There are some girls (actually only a couple) who I'm sure would be willing to help liven up the LJS world.
link pages
Adia: "I think Mai is on one of the kinda-running lists, she is very nice...are they the LJS Link Pages, or something-or-rather?"
I'm very serious when I say that I'm on just about every single one of the LJS lists, whether it's RPG, discussion, whatever. I'm on almost all the Yahoo! Clubs, all the Yahoo! Groups, most of the Topica lists... I'm even on one on Listbot, although I can't remember my pw there for the life of me!
I do run LJS Pages, and I'm sorry I left it falling. It's just that no one submitted anything, so I never felt the urge to update with no new sites. Ya know Chris also has a LJS links directory, along with Maeve? Maeve's is outdated (and you credited her for the links on your page), but Chris is currently setting up her page. If you want to collab on the links pages, how 'bout we pick one of the layouts up now and switch all the links from one to the other? I don't care where it goes, as long as it's combined, not separate like that.
LJS awards
I can't stand awards, either...
keepers page
There was once a Keepers page, but no one ever really signed up for anything interesting so it was dropped and became Circle Midnight's RPG (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/thekeepers2). If you wanna do that, let me know so I can sign up! The thing with this is, most people will go overboard and sign up for fifty things and put them all in their sig, which is a no-no in most clubs. "Signature lines should not exceed seven lines." I think that's the exact wording for NW:CD.
Ona Nyx clique
Are you talking about the SC clique? I love the way Lee made that! But aren't you supposed to do research or something? I have to make some time to do that...
chat
I don't like chatting much, either.
ljs
LJS is non-existant. She used to pass out her home mailing address, but after the hate mail she got from VD3, she stopped publishing her address and now uses her publishing company as her go-through. ::shrugs:: It's sad but true. There aren't even pictures of her floating around, though I've heard she's not the greatest-looking...
RPGs
Ahem. NWC?
Adia: "Oh, and I have had two more people sign up for the LJS World Ring, where's your site, huh?"
::lol:: Those were probably both my sites! :)
Adia: "I added, Mai to the list of blogs I read (check to your right), she is so nice, and actually replies to your emails on mailing lists (that is an achievment) anyway, I found out that she is the one that runs LJS Pages, I feel so bad now because I set up the LJS Links Collection because of that site, it looked good, but hadn't been updated for a bit...oh well, we are working things out."
Thanks for that! I like replying to stuff. Keeps me sane. I hate it when people don't respond to me, so can't be the hypocritical type, can I? :) Look below for my solution to the two links page... It's up there somewhere.
Whew. That should be enough, ne?
[Monday, July 9, 2001 :: 06:02 p.m.] God, I really hate Yahoo!!! I can't even check my fuckin' mail because the Mail thing is being stupid. *grr* And I have tons to do, too. This. Is. Not. Cool. *sighs* I guess I'll have to check other Yahoo! Groups...
Oh, btw, I joined some more webrings. *shrugs* I like collecting the cute little linkages. :)
[Monday, July 9, 2001 :: 02:54 p.m.] :: shrugs:: So I like music websites. This one rocks. They're from Birmigham, AL, so I feel the innate sense of "home-grown" with them. Besides, their music just kicks ass!
[Monday, July 9, 2001 :: 1:11 p.m.] ::crosses herself:: Habit. Sorry. Anyway, I've been joining a few webrings here and there, for this site and for the other one, muses.scribble.nu. I've got to set up my daily reads soon, and I need to talk to everyone so that they know where I am. :)
Other than that, have a nice day! I might not be on later, because I have to head to the Grams' house for some stuff I left over there, and I'm not sure how long it will be before I can pull away.
[Monday, July 9, 2001 :: 4:15 a.m.] Ugh. I have too much free time. I've had this blog up for a while, but I'm just now starting to add stuff to it. ::shrugs:: I'll use this as the central update point for now, but that means I have to go through my sites and switch some links. ::sighs:: There's always more work in the life of a webdesigner.
I just added another entry to muses.scribble.nu (link on left). I haven't been able to do much else, though. Familial obligations called. I'll get back to checking through all my mail and everything else later. I'm just tired now.
A list of everything needed:
- check email (1927 unread and counting...)
- change update links to this blog ::sighs::
- email Dreamer's Glen about NWC
- get the characters for those AB:VH made and sent in
::sighs again:: That should keep me busy for a while. Just the "check email" one should keep me running for days.
