Hi guys, I need boy advice, please help me, hahaha!!! OK, here it goes, like I told some of you, I met this guy named David right? Well, I dont really like him in that way, but I do like him as a friend, but I act too giggly around him, like a total weirdo!!!! How do I act normally around him? He thinks Im weird, and he tries to analyze me tooooo much, he thinks I have a split personality, hahahaha. He also thinks Im weird cause I said Im not interested in a boyfriend right now, Im not that crazy for love, hehehehe!!!! I probably shouldnt have told him that, oh well, sigh!!!! Yesterday i went to the little church group meeting and we sang christian songs and prayed for things. The people there were really nice. I'm starting my new job tommorrow. It's scary. I have a lot of chem homework but it's really easy. We end up going to westwood alot and sunday Nika and Michelle ditched me with Eric and Jeff and I had to go to Santa monica with them >.<

Hey. I'm having fun over here despite all the freakin' walking. I wasn't able to go home this weekend because Beckie had to work overtime, so I'm still keyboardless. Oh yea, you guys can call my cell [517-2415] whenever ya want (preferably after 9PM or on weekends). Classes aren't too bad so far. I have no clue how midterms will be like, but the lectures are like HS. Jane, I know what'cha mean. I just give up and say a lil north/edge of the San Fernando valley. Oh well. I met a lot of cool people, but most of my friends are from Arcadia. My "boyfriend" is also from there. I think he likes me more than I like him though...it feels weird. It's fun to hang out with him though. I have the pictures from our last get-together. I'll post them later. Ok, I'm out. Later.

I've only been here a week and I already had my internet suspended. -_-;; I just got it working today. Yeah, I'm having fun here. Meeting lots of new people. My apartment-mates are really fun. If you come into our kitchen and open our cabinets you'll be buried by our mountain of food. We've got more food than any apartment I've seen.

Oops. I kinda promised Kathy I'd make an entry last night but I kinda forgot. :O So here's my entry anyway.

Heh, Crystal, all you worry about are cute guys. :P I haven't really met all that many people. I've just been hanging out with the people I knew from high school, like Jane, Sarah, Alisha, and Jeremy. I guess the people in my suite are okay -- we kinda leave each other alone so it's all good. I spend a lot of time in my room, haha. I am so sick of *walking*, though, so I'm glad most of my classes are really close to my dorm. It sounds like we're all having a pretty good time. I'm glad you're happy with UCI, Kathy. Too bad you don't have a keyboard, though -- it makes interacting online just a bit tough. :P When are you going to get a keyboard? I thought it was this weekend but since you aren't going back up...

Okay, I'm off to go read some of my textbooks. What a first! I never read *anything* in high school. I'm trying to reform.

Hey everyone! I'm going home today. I'll be going back to school tomorrow. Alot changed since my last entry. Now we know almost everyone on all three floors of our building! I met alot of cute asain guys in my classes. I really like it here. There's this really cute guy in my building. He's really nice, just a little shy, but he doesn't seem to have problems talking to me ^_^ I've met two new people in every class I have. Always one guy and one girl...isn't that wierd? Anyway I've decided to audit math and physics as well this quarter so its really tiring. It's like taking five classes. We do sooo much walking that I really don't think the freshman fifteen can apply to anyone at UCLA. I start work next wednesday. Half the people here are going home on the weekends. I guess that's ok since I'm going home too, but I was hoping to go out on weekends in the future. I hope you are all having fun and you all have my number so call me when your bored. My cell phone doesn't work in the dorms though >.< but thats okay i'm usually out during the day.

Hey! UCI is pretty nice. I've met most of the people in my hall. There's only a couple of cute guys here. I don't mingle too much with the other halls, heehee. S'ok Crystal. We can just meet up whenever. ^_^ I conveniently forgot my keyboard, so I have to use the mouse. x.x I've mostly been chillin' with Stephanie (m roomie) and Roger. I think I'm starting to like him? Weird. -_-;; I kinda feel bad for not hanging out with others...hopefully I'll be more talkative/comfortable later. We've walked around everywhere already. I don't have it ^_^ its nice in the dorms here. we have two doubles with a shared bath. Its like having two rooms. The bathroom is nice too. I haven't met very many people yet. Sunset is a little secluded. Its tiring to get to the campus but there are a lot of activities this week. We went to westwood and santa monica. There are A LOT of asian guys over here. I'm getting ready to go to bed -- I am so tired. I moved in last night but stayed the night with my family at a hotel. My parents and brother left this morning after lunch, and now I'm all alone. I went with Jane and her roommate to pick up their books, as I'd already picked mine up in the morning, and we waited for Sarah. We also went with Sarah to wait for the bus; all three of us suck with directions and stuff. We couldn't figure out which side of the road she was supposed to wait on and we *just* missed her bus at 5:30-ish -- we were walking down the road and the bus was driving away. ::rolls eyes:: Other than that, I did absolutely nothing today. I absolutely LOVE having a single. It is so nice. I can do whatever I want in my room and nobody knows or cares. :D

Okay, all settled in now. I brought the least amount of stuff out of all my roommates. I stuffed our Explorer with so much stuff. My dad couldn't see from the rear view mirror because everything was packed in. But when I got here and unpacked everything it seemed like nothing. I think I need to buy more food. I'm too lazy to leave my apartment everytime I want to eat. Internet's sooo much faster than mine at home. Already downloaded a bunch of anime. Yay. Picking up my books today. So expensive. My math book is $130. I don't like calculus enough to buy a $130 math book. Ew.

Wow, SB sounds like fun. For some reason, my RA is a guy. But my suite is all girls, so why the guy? Same with my friend's suite, he has some girl. Oh well. I still talk to my roomie online, but I think I'm running out of stuff to say to her. Emily isn't your roommate, right? She's just your friend you knew before? (The girl in the asian dorm?) That's cool though. ^_^ What's Adam's other half? Asian and white? Mixes, for some reason, are usually really hot. ^_^;;

Well, I'm still at Beckie's and Stef's apartment. I'm on my last disc of Detective Conan. ;_; But it's good! I can't wait for Part 5 to come out so I can buy some more. ^_^ Anyway, today I met up with my friend, Roger (UCI guy from Arcadia). So he picked me up at their apt at around 4. He's actually really cute. *^_^* So after gettin' a lil lost (I'm so retarded sometimes), we finally found the Westfield mall place. That mall is sooo nice! I wanna shop there! Heehee. Anyway, I finally got to watch Pirates of the Caribbean. OMG, Orlando and Johnny Depp were cool. Afterwards, we went to Tomodachi sushi for some dinner. The parking is really scary in Westwood. :O He had to do some funky parking to fit in that squishy spot. His car is really nice though. One of those souped up cars, but very pretty. *_* I got home at like 9. But you know what? He bought me the Eugene CD and also this mashimaro plush (it's almost the size of Jean's backpack! OMG! haha). But yea, I had a great day. ^__^

Hey Guys :), remember me? Anyway, hehehehe, Im having a pretty good time at UCSB. My roommate and RA are both really nice, so Im really happy about that. My RA, Shawna, is the nicest person in the world and she hung out with me for a little while on the first day. Anacapa is a nice residence hall, but taking a shower and stuff is really inconvenient so enjoy your own bathroom while you can :)!!! Well,I have met a lot of really nice people including a couple of really cute guys, hehehehe. Everyone is really friendly, and if you leave your door open they all come and say hi :)!!! The food is kind of disgusting at times, but its all edible so thats all that matters, hehehe. During my free time I have been watching this really cute anime called Azumanga with my friend Emily. I also watched a little bit of a Japanese movie called Battle Royale. Have any of you seen these two things? Anyway, I met this really cute half Asian guy named Adam when I went over to San Rafael residence hall, hehehe, he was really nice :). They are so lucky at San Rafael, because they have suites with living rooms and two bathrooms. Sorry, I think Ive been talking about the boys too much, but they are all so pretty, hehehe. Anyway, Ive seen almost everyone from our school except for Todd Snyder, and I actually talked to Michelle Millman even though I never ever talked to her in high school, weird huh? I have been pretty homesick at times, but it isnt that bad :). I miss seeing you guys around, and I hope you guys have fun at your respective schools. You want to know something weird? My roommate's boyfriend is actually Korean. Maybe thats why we dont have any problems cause she is used to having Asians around, hehehe. Well, talk to u all later, luv u lots, xoxo!!!

I can only go out after 5:30 on weekdays and this weekend I'll be kinda busy. There's this manga class at UCLA and i really wanted to take it but its an extention class so its too expensive >.< I wanna learn fencing, archery, and karate this year. Hope I have enough time. This is my last week of work and I still have to go dorm shopping. I haven't bought or packed anything yet. This is starting to sound like something from a diary >.< Oh well. I STILL haven't gotten my textbooks yet. I ordered them like two weeks ago and its supposed to be sent to my house. School is starting really soon and they haven't even filled the order yet! My CHEM book is $157!!!! >.< I can't afford to go to school. I can't believe I'm going to have to work 15hrs/week this year just to go to school :( Maybe I can get my mom to pay for my books hehe.

I got a cell phone yesterday, whoo! It's cute. :D Beyond that, though, I have done absolutely *nothing* for college. No packing, no thinking about it. I'm scared. I don't wanna go. :P I haven't even heard about housing yet! I think either a) I didn't get housing, or b) it got lost in the mail, or c) my mail's being predictably slow (again!). I tend to get things after everybody else. It's kind of annoying. I want my housing assignment now, but I guess it's still early September. Jane, have you gotten yours?

I just spent about half an hour trying to spin a pen. Grr. Anybody else want to give it a try? Pen Stuff I can't do the "Charge Normal". The only one I can do is the 360 Degree Normal. You can try to shuffle a deck with one hand, too: Card Stuff That's how productive I've been. Haha.

My computer is totally broken. At first the internet wouldn't work now I can't even open it. I hope its not a virus. Everyone be careful at school! I think next year I'm just going to take a sleeping bag and sleep on someone else's dorm floor. Time for some koobing. Compared to my shady router, your wifi sounds awesome Jean. We got a new router actually, LinkSys, but I haven't been able to figure out the settings to do port forwarding yet. :T I think I did it right, but after I changed my settings, I couldn't connect to the internet. (Yea, bad sign) Oh well. Universal was fun...as much as it could as it was Universal. We didn't need to sell our ticket since we had 10 people. (Which worked out pretty well on rides because it was mostly 5/row except on Back to the Future) We also went around City Walk, which just gave me memories of our time in HS (even though it was only like 3-4 months ago, haha). We ate at Buca Di Beppo, which was really good.

School stuff. My roommate called me the other day, and now we talk a lot on AIM. Her name is Stephanie and she's from Arcadia. She pretty much likes to watch lots of TV, she used to be a Sailormoon fan, she listens to asian pop music (and stuff on KIIS FM), and she's an English major. It's actually kinda scary how much we're alike (except for the whole English thing). I think she's bringing her TV, which is cool. There's actually a few people from IRC who are going to UCI. This one guy lives in the dorm next to mine, which is suuuper cool because he's super cool. Haha. This is the first time I think I wanted school to start earlier. -_-;; How nerdy. XD But I'm really excited! I feel like I'm ready to go! I move in Sept. 21, but I'm gonna be leaving to Beckie & Stef's apartment on the 13th (or someday in that weekend). So let's go out before then! Jane, I still have your origami books and stuff (do you still have my jacket? haha). Maybe I can drop by when Stef and Beckie are home...we wanted to visit Suzie too. ^_^ (And I can't drive so there's no way of me getting there) Ok, my super long entry ends here.

Sounds like you had a cool trip, Jane. Driving in Taiwan's pretty crazy, too -- people just go on red lights and the intersections are soooooo confusing. Once we had seven people in a car designed for five, and there was this police behind us with the lights flashing. I poked my mom and asked, "Umm...what does that cop want?" Apparently cops there just turn on their lights whenever. I still haven't figured out how you're supposed to know if they want you to pull over -- maybe they turn on their sirens or something? :T

Edited to add that I set up a wireless router, so now I don't have to fight over the internet anymore! It's really cool -- two computers and a laptop all hooked up to DSL. I almost broke the router, though, by uploading the wrong firmware. I nearly died of a heart attack, thinking I'd have to make up some lame excuse and return it to the store; luckily, I fixed it. And of course, I woke up the morning afterwards and tried to turn on my computer, and it wouldn't turn on. I ended up having to replace the motherboard.

Okay, my sentence or two to Kathy. Umm...how was Universal Studios? Who'd you go with? You didn't *sell* a ticket, didja'? :P (Shush! We got a nice $25 for ours!)
