Ohhhh, the MM R/S communities. I thought it was best buddies R/S. That makes sense now. He was being obsessive but rightfully so. I'd be obsessive too if I were him. Nice, Jean. Maybe he DID make an unbreakable vow with the bad guys and Dumbledore knew about that and then he made another vow to Dumbledore to keep the first vow and. . . . I dunno, nevermind. It sounded good in my head. I hope Snape isn't bad. I liked him. So, is DM gonna be good or bad? He was all weepy and crybaby-like so he knows how hard it is to work for LV. But then he succeeded . . . so you never know. Yeah, the whole "we can't be together because it's too dangerous but the girl will say 'it's MY decision' and they'll end up together anyway" bit IS pretty old. You KNOW what's going to happen. I didn't like Slughorn. He was just annoying. Not the greatest character.

I don't think dumbledore is really dead. Or dead permanently because I can't believe dumbledore would make such a big mistake when everyone else is always telling him snape is evil. But then again.....there is a "dumb" in his name hehe

But dude, Crystal, he *was* being obsessive. If I were there, I probably would've been rolling my eyes at him. Harry annoys me. :P People online were hypothesizing that Dumbledore probably had a reason for trusting Snape so implicitly -- that maybe Snape had made an Unbreakable Vow to Dumbledore to always do things for the Order or something. ::shrugs:: Or maybe Dumbledore's just an idiot. Or maybe Snape's not really evil even though he made an Unbreakable Vow to whomever to kill Dumbledore.

There actually wasn't that much eating jane. We at mexican food at lunch at that was it! weird isn't it. But I was going broke and that burrito was HUGE. We went to a golf n' stuff like place. didn't play mini golf though. The lines took like an hour! and the arcade kept eating my money -_-

I read harry potter in like 10 hours. I was reading it at work lol.

I really want to know why dumbledore trusted snape so much. And why did harry have to go do that oh it'll be dangerous so we can't be together now thing. EVERYONE does that. I still remember spiderman and batman and like every other hero saves world movie. Gets so old. And it was annoying how everybody thought Harry was being obsessed and getting annoyed at him when he was RIGHT.

SARAH -- DON'T READ

So is Snape seriously bad or what? Like, I don't get it. Seems like some people online still think Rowling is going to redeem Snape. I totally agree with the fact that the tone of the sixth book was way different. Kathy sent me links to the first couple of chapters online before I got a copy of the book, and I was like, "Are you sure these are real?" I thought they were *sooooo* bad. I didn't even read it because I thought the writing was so bad. I was all like, "I've read fanfic written better than this." And then, of course, it turns out it was real so ... oops. I hated how she basically tried to pair everybody up at the end. I don't get the Tonks thing. So she stopped changing after Sirius died because ... she was in love with Remus? ::confused look:: Some R/S ppl are pissed off because they feel like pairing Remus with Tonks invalidates the Remus/Sirius pairing -- even though Sirius has been dead and, really, most of that pairing exists as fanfiction backstories since they're in all of two (maybe three) books. It just cracks me up that Remus/Sirius shippers had a hard time with this book, yet all those people who pair Snape up with others aren't having any issues at all with the fact that he might be seriously evil. It's odd that I liked Dumbledore but didn't really care that he died. I cared more that Snape killed him. I liked Sirius a lot as a character. Harry and his group just annoys me. :T

Whoa, it's already my last week of summer. Or my last free week of summer. I'm moving the rest of my furniture to my place on Sunday and then I gotta go to work on Monday at EIGHT. GAH! My class is on Tues/Thurs 6-8 pm. So every Tues or Thurs, I have to go to work by 8, get off at 4, wait two hours, and then go to class. I'm gonna be on campus from 8-8. Sucks for me.

Sarah, do you still have your lunch break at 12? We can meet for lunch again. But no more buying shitty PC food for me. I've decided to cook for myself. Cook only HEATLHY food for myself.

Aw, I feel bad that I couldn't go down with you guys on Saturday. I was just so beat. Jen S. came down that day and I was gonna ask her if she wanted to drive down with me but I was so dead tired. We both wiped out really early that night, I think it wasn't even two o'clock yet. We turned into grannies! I had to go to my cousin's daughter's thingamajig on Sunday night too. I kinda fell asleep a little bit. Oh, well, she'd never know. She's only 1.

Did you guys have fun? What'd you end up doing? Beach? Shopping? I KNOW there was eating.

Sarah, Meggie and I were talking about going to Disneyland or Magic Mountain yesterday night. You're psychic! You wanna come with?

Anyway, I better get back to finishing my Bio homework. It's due in like 3 hours. Oh and thanks again for the help on my CSCI test, Kathy! The first time I took it with just guessing and I got a 66% -_-;; but with your help, I managed to scrape by. ^_^

Oh, and Jean:

HOLY CRAP!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!! All the "Snape's such a cool spy" junkies are going nuts. As soon as I read it, I was all O_O Duuude, that was such a huuuge twist. (If you couldn't tell my shock over the repeated letters) I figured out who the half blood prince was like half way through it. I was all, "wait, Snape's really good at potions . . . ." When I read that line "You dare use my own spells against me, Potter? It was I who invented them -- I, the Half-Blood Prince!" I yelled " I KNEW IT!!" The tone of the 6th book was so different than the rest of them. I do NOT like Remus and Tonks together. Nuh uh. Break up!! Cheat!! It's just weird! And what's this uproar you talk about in the R/S communties? eh? I was more effected by Dumbledore's death than by Sirius'. I dunno, Sirius was sort of irritating me in the 5th one. When he fell through the veil I was all ". . . . and???" I think I was more effected when they killed Grandpa Chook in Power of One. Doesn't say much for Sirius when the death of a rooster is more moving than his.

Hi Guys . . . ahhhhh . . . so sorry, I'm in SB right now with my roomies sorting out apartment stuff and getting furniture, and then tomorrow a friend from SB is coming to see me . . . so I won't be able to see you guys until Saturday for the trip to SD!!! We so have got to get together though . . .the usual places . . . hahahaha, anyway . . . sometime soon, and I'll grab the other Jennifer also!!! Still haven't finished the Harry Potter though, my sister is a hog, and she insisted that she read it before me . . . so I just started >.<, blahhhhhh! I quit my selling insurance job on the first day lol. It's really stressful to be a telemarketer >_< but I did get an environmental intern position in santa monica. But I wont have work anymore at night so we can go out more hehe ^__^. Haven't seen the HP6 book yet lol. Oh yea i owe jean 17.99 for the book lol. I'll give it to your mom jean! or when I see you on saturday. Aww JANE I haven't seen you in forever and your not coming to SD with us! :(

Going on a veggie soup diet is stinky...after only like a day of veggie soup my tummy never feels full anymore >_< I ate a whole sandwich, big bowl of soup, and some chicken and I'm still HUNGRY!!!!

man I've only been at work for 2 hrs. and I'm dying again. YAY you guys are coming down to SD. I'm still trying to rack my brain on what we are gonna do . The weather here has been kinda blah... heavy marine layers and little sun. It's been a pretty cold summer. but in any case bring your bathing suits or wear shorts if you don't wanna wear a bathing suit. Bring towels too!!. i am open to suggestions... not many indoor things we can do except shopping- but then there's poor claude who is already having to hang out with 4+ girls soo prolly spare him on the shopping. We could go to coronado...but it's just looking around and buying expensive stuff. I have coupons for cold stones- buy one get one free. nice... cept we have an uneven number of people. Kathy you can take down 2 regulars no? I also need to stop spending money. seriously need to stop. I think for this summer I've spent about $150+ just on summer clothes and accessories.

aww you guys are making me wanna read harry potter... but I'm too cheap to buy the book. I'll get it from jean or jane in sept. --BRING IT DOWN. The invisible writing is cool we should all koob like that. =) My boss isn't here today so I'm totally wasting time online- playing minputt 2 and koobing. Let's see...oh if any of you have a boogie board or beach stuff bring it down. so hopefully you guys will make it down by noon-- although i have a feeling you guys will lag...=) so Let's say 1:30 so I'll see you then. yay get ready for massive picture taking. I'm about half way through HP6. Trying to read it slowly, unlike what I did for HP5. (And I forgot almost everything...I had to reread it) Jenn, you can read sparknotes, they have sparknotes for HP1-5. @.@ Just read the ending chapters...and the chapter when Fred and George made that swamp. That was cool (Take that, Umbridge!) Is the story a lil slow, or is it just me? Nothing interesting has happened yet, so I'm a bit bored. I've been watching A Lover In Paris (With Lee Dong Gun, a cutie~) between reading chapters. I spoiled myself on accident and went through a mass reading last nite. I guess the drama could only stall me so much.

SD sounds fun. I better search under the couch for money, because I'm freakin' broke. I told Roger I was going to SD for the day, and he said Poor guy who has to do all that driving in one day. Now that I think of it, that is a lot of driving! Diamond Bar (?) -> Agoura -> SD -> Agoura -> Diamond Bar. OMG! That must be like 400-500 miles!

I'm going back to Irvine July 26th to sign papers. We had to get our apartment early because I guess there's no room. And it's super expensive, $1895/mo. I want to choose the one with the bathroom inside the room ... since I don't have a car and all of them need the space. The least I could get is a bathroom in my room, right? ^__^ I don't think I'll be staying unless I take session II. Hungry, bye bye.

Hey Guys~ I just got back from Barnes and Nobles, lol . . .w/ the new Harry Potter book!!! Excited to read it, but I sort of forgot everything from the fifth book so I'm rereading that one first!!! Ahhhh . . . very tempted to read the spoiler Jean wrote, but I refrained!!! I dunno . . . I hope it's not too disappointing, some of the reviews that I read on Amazon were not very good . . . but some people really liked it, so I dunno, we shall see. Anyway, I'm excited to see Sarah in SD on Saturday, I'm glad we are only going for a day, 'cause I have to work on Sunday -________-. Anyhow, hope all you guys are doing great . . . see you on Saturday!!!

Did you like the book, Jane? I think I would rank this one ... third or fourth in the series. Maybe even lower. You can tell I wasn't that impressed. It seemed like the world totally changed between books five and six. Did I forget something or miss something?

I was more sad over Sirius's death than Dumbledore's death. And Harry is annoying the heck out of me. And I am very amused by the uproar in Remus/Sirius communities. And Snape just suddenly turned evil, or was he evil all along? I dunno -- everything seemed OOC to me. Maybe I just totally missed a bunch of hints in OotP or something.

I do Jean! I guessed who the HBP was going to be and when I read what happened I was all "I KNEW it!!!" Man, I really want to write some stuff but I don't want to ruin it for everyone. Tell me when ya'll are done.

I don't think that I can go with you guys to SD. Two guys we know came from Korea and they're spending the week with us and we have to drive them to the airport on Saturday. Damn, I spent all day yesterday stuck in the third row of our car sight seeing around LA. I already saw LA. I didn't want to see it again. Those two have been to all the places that I wanted to go. They've been to more places than I have in America. They came from the East Coast and they saw "The Prodcuers." I REALLY wanted to see that. Broadway envy. They started there and made their way here for a month. Anyway, they're nice guys. They're both enginnering majors, I think mechanical and electrical, and they go to the two top colleges in Korea. And you know how impossible the schools are there, I feel like a dumbass next to them. Ay.
