Crystal - 11:17 a.m. Let's go eat ice cream. The last time I had cold stones was soo long ago. I don't care about my finals :P Today is my last real class. Next week is just a bunch of tests. I think I like test days better because I can go home early. I'm not a night class person >.<
Kathy - 05:45 p.m. Internet was down all yesterday. I wrote my essay and completed about 2½ pages at around 10:45PM. Then I get this error from WordPad when I was trying to save and it closed. But I save every time I write a sentence, so I thought it would be ok. But it wasn't. -_- I'm assuming that it was in the process of saving when it crashed because it has a bunch of jumbled words in the beginning and then only my first 3 sentences of my essay. >:O I seriously felt like I was gonna cry. ;_; So I had to start all freaking over and write the stupid essay over again. How much does that suck? And I spent like 2 days writing the stupid thing too. I was thinking of calling my professor to tell her that because I think she likes me XD. But would that be kinda...flakey? :T So I decided not to and just suck it up! I wrote it again, but it wasn't as good. :*( I took at nap at 2:30AM and tried to wake up at 4AM to finish. I slept a bit too long and woke up at 6AM. :T Man, I don't think I'll get an A on this one. ;_; BOO!!! I need some comfortness. You guys wanna go out over the weekend? (Even though it's like finals week for some of ya'all...and me) Crystal, I have a whole lot of your CDs. I seriously try returning them, but they seem to never want to leave my desk. XD I'll return them soon, sorry. Ok, I'm out. Later. -_-
Jean - 02:23 p.m. After tonight, there will only be one week of summer school left. Yippee!
I went to Magic Mountain yesterday. Eeks! I went upside down and didn't die! Haha -- Magic Mountain is sort of boring for me because I'm really scared of roller coasters, right? So my brother takes me on Canyon Blaster (the 30-second ride made for 2-year-olds!) and then that other little one -- Goldwhatever? Goldrusher? Golddigger? Whatever. And then we go on some of the water rides, and he keeps trying to talk me into going on Revolution. I went on Ninja, though, and it was *really* cool. Too bad the line was so long. I ended up going on Revolution anyway. It was okay, I guess. I was too scared to go on anything else, haha.
Crystal, you don't know what Seabiscuit is? :P It's that horse movie that came out...last weekend, I think. It's based on a true story of a racehorse during the Depression. It's supposed to be pretty good. I just think I have a thing for horses, animated or real (Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron (sp?), anybody?).
And I don't think I have any of your CD's. ...do I? :O
Crystal - 03:37 p.m. What's sea biscuit? Do you guys still have my cds, I kinda wanna watch kenshin again? Do you think I get get them back soon ^_^ maybe next time we get together umm if we ever do get together....before Aug 11 I guess. Summer school is almost over ^_^ only one and a half more weeks of boring lectures. I missed the free ice cream because of moorpark >.< Don't forget my cds!
Jean - 10:44 p.m. I am soooooooooo sick of summer school. Why was I stupid enough to pick an eight-week class? Oh, well...I leave for Taiwan right after class ends, and then a cruise to Mexico. So maybe I should shut up and quit whining, huh?
I want to go see Sea Biscuit. Anybody want to go with me?
Okay, I lead a boring life. I have nothing to say. *sigh*
Kathy - 06:52 p.m. How were the tests? I have my math test tomorrow, boo. I totally forgot all those stupid "add up the lil rectangles!" things, oops. ^_^;; Anyway, I just wanted to remind everyone to eat Cold Stone's tomorrow! On Thursday (July 24th) between 5PM and 8PM, they're gonna give away free Cake Batter Ice Cream, with Oreos, M&M's, and Fudge.
Jennifer: I can't go to the movies on Thursday. :T Sorry x.x
Jean - 11:34 a.m. Stupid people. I thought it would've *allllll* been sorted out by now. But no. Grr grr grr grr grr.
I need to go study. Boooo. Two tests tomorrow. (Alliteration!)
Crystal - 08:12 a.m. I don't think I want to cook ever again!. My mom has been making me bake three weekends in a row for her bake sale! No fun! Let's just go eat!
Kathy - 11:36 a.m. Disneyland was fun. We (Beckie, Stef, and moi~) got to the park at around 6PM. Beckie bought Baja Fresh so we wouldn't have to buy food there, muhahaha. (Cheapos, I know. But it's expensive! Remember that $2.50 pickle? 'cha, whatever!) We tried to go on as many rides as possible. We went on Matterhorn first, but we tried the left side instead (we were on the right before). I didn't think it was as fun, but oh well. We also went on Splash Mountain, that Thunder Railroad one, Teacups (OMG, we went so fast that when we finally stopped, I couldn't see correctly for at least 45 seconds. It was freaky because I saw like 4 different images), Alice in Wonderland, Mr. Toad, Star Tours, Indiana Jones (There was hardly a line, yay!), and maybe others if I forgot. ^.^;; We left the park at midnight, when it closed. Yea, it was fun. :D Orientation wasn't as fun. After getting stuck in traffic for 2½ hours, I had to run to the building because I was sorta late. And then we hardly even did anything because all we had to do was like listen to this stupid stuff. -_- I stayed for about 30 minutes or something. And Jean, I didn't really meet anyone either. These people started to talk to each other, but that was the time that I was about to leave. And I didn't really see a point in being supersocial at that moment anyway. I slept over Beckie and Stef's apartment, which was cool. And then we woke up at 9AM, and we decided not to go to Disneyland again that day (We have 2 day passes). Instead, we walked to Westwood and watched "Charlie's Angels". That was my first movie in over a month. x.x I need to get out more. :P Then we went to Pai's place to hang out. Pai (Stef's friend but you know how one sister's friend becomes another sister's friend...so I guess it's both Stef's and Beckie's friend...yea) made us smoothies; it was really yummy! After looking at magazines, making origami, and eating at Pai's place, we left back to our apartment (Yes, it has now become mine too >:P). So we got back to the apartment, and we had to get ready since they were throwing a surprise birthday party for their friend, Vivian. It's kinda hard to surprise Beckie's friends since they *always* have surprise birthday parties for each other, heehee. But it was fun. We ate at Cheesecake Factory (Dude! The place is really hard to find x.x) and I ate a lot. Yum. ^_^ Now I'm home again. You guys wanna go somewhere today? ^__^v Oh! Are we cooking at your house, Crystal? And about the whole rant thing, all of the pages on the internet are pretty much public to everyone. I've tried to take off my own blog off the search pages, but it doesn't really work. Haha. So oh well. I doubt anyone will be that interested in my life anyway to read about it. ^.^;;
Sarah - 05:43 p.m. you guys have to go to med school and open your private practice so you can employ me!!!! :)
Jean - 03:14 p.m. Haha, Crystal. Okay, thanks. I deleted my rant. :T Crystal - 02:26 p.m. Actually you can find this page really easily on google if you know the name. Just type "thekoob" and its the first one :P Sorry Jean ^_^ careful what you write.
About the medical school thing. I was just freaking out. My mom says she talked to this lady and two of her daughters were going to medical school. She said it was just reading books and i think i know how to solve the divorse thing! I'll just be a radiologist. They don't need to be on call! and I didn't realize there were so many things you can study instead of being a practicing doctor. besides.....For Pharmacy school they make you take a lot more classes to get in like Economics and SPEECH >.< ICKY!!! im soo bad at that ^_^
Jean - 01:30 p.m. I slept in today; it was so nice.
Am I the only one who has trouble making friends or something? I didn't meet anybody whom I liked at Orientation. They were all *weird*. :T
I wanna go to Disneyland. Not fair!
Crystal, quit scaring me about med school. You should try for it, too...then we could go together. Haha. And btw, I would never wear a corset. I wouldn't fit. I'd probably die. Have you seen pictures? Their waists were, like, three inches around! Tiny!! :O How did they breath and manage to walk?? I'd toddle around and fall over, gasping for air.
I need to study for my second midterm. Icky, icky, icky.
Okay -- stuff edited out. A lot of stuff edited out. Haha.
Jennifer - 04:15 p.m. Hello, whats up with you all? I know, this is kind of late Jean, but I really hope you had a really fantastic and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! Wow, Crystal, your orientation sounded like a lot of fun, I hope mine is just as fun, but I dont think it will be unfortunately. Jessica, one of my friends whose going to UCSB, said it was a really stressful orientation and not that much fun, but we shall see. Anyway, Kathy Im so sorry, I dont think I can go to the movies after all, I have to study for my final on Monday cause Im gonna be gone all weekend, so I hope we can make it up next week :^}!!!!! Sorry, I completely forgot that my final was next Monday until my teacher started talking about today :^}, whoops!!!! Anyway, I cant wait to get orientation and summer school over with so I can breath a little easier until school starts! I really hope I meet some nice people at orientation, but as for now Im gonna go watch my favorite movie Pretty In Pink , hehehehehe, xoxo!!!!!! Crystal - 11:55 a.m. The tired thing...Sarah...ME TOO!!! It takes sooo much effort to get up in the morning. I think its just because I hate summer school!
I did have a good time at orientation. I didn't make any best friend though. I think when people say that they mean that you met your future best friend for the first time there. I did meet a lot of nice people and a couple of cute guys. I think all the cute ones were counselors ^__^
The people in my group were all in my major so I'll probably be seeing them alot.
I really dont think I want to go to medical school anymore. I tried looking for stuff online and everyone says the same thing. Like its really tough. Doctors have the highest rate of divorce. I don't think I want to live my life like that. I'm getting stressed >.< I think I'm changing my college plans though. I'm going to major in microbio still but im minoring in Japanese and Spanish and it'll take me four years to graduate. Hopefully after summer school each year I can spend a month in Japan. After that maybe pharmacy school unless I get the courage to try for medical school. If I go to pharmacy school, I guess the four years won't really matter cause pharmacy school isn't that long. AND I don't have to wait til I'm 30 to get married! I really don't think I'm dedicated enough to being a doctor to spend all those years studying just to have a hectic life>.< And in California, the pharmacy schools don't require the Psats or whatever the entrance exam is called ^_^ LOL I know im just taking the easy way out, but I really don't want a horrible life with lots of divorces >.< Scarey. I am totally NOT a feminist. I'd rather be back in the 1800 like in history of american women and wear a corset. I want my only goal to be playing the piano, learning languages and getting married!
*takes a BIGGG breath*
Okay...done ranting. Sooo...how is everyone? ^_^ We should go do something. Would anyone want to help me with bake sale at church this sunday? We can eat all the leftover goodies and between masses we can go play ^_^. Tell me if you wanna help.
Ummm personal life? NONE LOL. Actually, you know that pho guy? (Just a friend k?) We went to eat pho last week. I wasn't really hungry so I didn't eat any. We went to the same place that Jane usually goes. And then we went to the same lollicup Jane usually goes to. And guess who I saw??? Noooo not Jane ^_^ Eric....Wu....and Sam Greenburg and Kendrick. They were playing Ma Jong at Lollicup. Isn't that wierd. Okay I think I wrote a little too much. That's what happens when I keep to myself for a week. Sorry for going on and on. Someone else's turn. Oh yeah you know that 8 pg essay I wrote for my history of american women essay. I missed the last essay test so I took it Monday and I wrote 10 PGS!!!! She is soo mean! She said to write a bible and I did >.< She better give me a good grade for breaking my hand. :*(
Kathy - 04:53 p.m. Wow, people are writing again. I wish my English class was cancelled...forever. -_- Before when I woke up at the crack of dawn, a zillion cars would ask me if I was leaving. So I just took a nap and ignored them instead. ^_^v Actually, summer school has gone by pretty quickly...sorta. The days feel slow, but over all, it's not that bad. (Don't get me wrong, it's far from speedy) Jean, who are you? I was bit a nervous when you wanted that Yanni sheet music, but CMT?!? And what's with your sudden burst of Jewish-ness? Oy vey? ::Eyes Jean:: Hey? Was Holden ever absent Junior year? Probably not, huh? :T
"I can see clearly now, the rain is gone"
Jean - 02:19 p.m. I hate sharing the computer. I've been watching a lot of CMT lately. Channel 75, anybody? Haha. Actually, country music's not that bad. I liked the music video for the Eagle's "Hole In the World" or whatever it's called. Hey! Don't make fun of my musical tastes (or lack thereof!) :P
I get back my first history midterm today. Oy vey. How come Holden's never absent?? >:T
I've been working my way through this book, but it's due today and I still have 200 pages left. I'm on page 798 out of 964 (or 989, if you count the glossary). This is what I read instead of my history stuff. Out of the eight books I checked out on my last visit to the library, this is the only one that I am planning to finish. I started four others. Oops.
I got pissed off at this one person on this message board, so I've left there for good. Kathy, I did delete my EZBoard account. Hehe. I'm starting this internet withdrawal thing already, even before school starts! (Hah -- MSN and AIM are still my main problems. *sigh*)
Crystal, you sound like you had more fun at orientation than I did. I don't think I can graduate in three years. *sigh* Too many classes to take. 88 upper-division credits! Eeks!
Sarah - 01:11 p.m. Well since no one was writing i though i might. Ehhh i'm avoiding my final this time-oh my teacher canceled class again and so i sat in the car and waited till 9 for the book store to open. so i get my blue book and i'm going back to my car when 5 cars start tailing me so i break out running to my car and practically fly in and hide behind the sun visor- (i hate telling people that i'm not leaving) i open my window and see a girl in the car next to me who's looking at me like i'm crazy, but then it got too hot so i went back to the classroom. Having the entire room to youself is not bad. The teacher has this real nice comfy chair that goes up and down and the chalkboard's nice to write on- hope there isn't a security camera. sigh has anyone else been really tired like for the past 5 weeks? just me? ok bye
Kathy - 12:07 p.m. Orientation sounded like fun. ^_^ Did you meet any cool people? Any cute guys? ^.~ Heh, I just woke up. -_- Got back from the apartment-warming party a bit too late (1:45 :X) and now I'm all sleep-weirded. >.<;; And I still need to write my essay thing, and I don't feel like it anymore. Boo. Anyway, someone write something because the koob seems to be a lil dead. Let's go somewhere next week. I haven't seen you guys in a while. ^_^
Crystal - 09:02 a.m. I just back from orientation. I got sun burnt >.< owwwwwwie! We went on a scavenger hunt from 12 to 2 in the morning. We ran all over campus then the next day we had a 4 hour tour! I've never walked so much my entire life.
I got a new cell phone for next year. 60 minutes wasn't enough and you can record the ring tone ^_^. I missed three days of class so I have to catch up :P I figured out all the classes I'm going to take for the next four years. I can finish in 3 years and a quarter! :P and I'm minoring in Japanese so I'm going to finish Japanese 1-6 by next summer! Yeah!! I'm excited. Hopefully I can learn the language in a year...it took me 4 years for spanish and I still don't know it that well.
Kathy - 10:59 p.m. Summer school is half over for me! Thank goodness. I have another essay to write, and I'm just not in the mood. :T But I *really* need an A on this one. You guys all wanna peer edit it for me? The people who peer edit mine in class suck. They have bad comments (or none), oh well. My next math test is in 2 weeks...curve sketching and integrals. Ok, I'm gonna study for this one! Ok, I haven't seen any of ya'all this summer. (Well, hardly...) So here's some stuff that I think will be FUUUUN~! Sushi: There's this cool sushi place in Simi Valley and it's not too expensive either. (If we're gonna go for sushi, let's have it next month because I've just had sushi two nights in a row -_-) Singing Project! Yay! Ok, I'm not sure who wanted to sing, so I just picked the same people who sang last time. So, Sarah and Jennifer! Do you guys wanna sing also? Just tell me if you want to and I'll change the parts to fit us. (Tell me if you can sing high, or strong, and stuff) Here's the link to the lyrics/parts: CLICK ME~! Ok, I still have the bunches of games I wanted to play, but since I got lazy during the middle of its "creation", I haven't finished really. So, we can do that stuff later. ^_^ And you know what? I'M GONNA TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES! ^_^ It's good to remember all our good times, and it's always great to look back, right? So don't be camera shy; the camera won't bite. (Heh, you guys are more likely to do that >:P)
Jane - 11:09 p.m. Yeah, my hand hurt after that test too. Stupid women in stupid history. Boo. . . I ate a lot after I came home (those Sun Chips didn't satisfy my hunger). My mom made my dad this Korean cold noodle thing you're supposed to eat during the summer and I butted in. I ate a loooooot. Then my mom made me laugh so hard that I almost had noodle coming out of my nose. That was not pleasant, no. It feels good going on the computer and not feeling guilty about it. Last week, I kept thinking about the test and how I should be studying. Now I'm guilt free.
Jean - 10:09 p.m. I finished both tests today. Phew. They weren't as bad as I thought they would be. My hand was so tired after that history test. I think I wrote 14 or 15 pages in that Blue Book thingy. >:O Now I just have to wait for grades. Eeks. ::crosses fingers:: I hope I did well, I hope I did well...I got home and promptly stole the computer. Oopsies. But now I am hungry. ::sigh:: I guess I'm off to find food. Kathy - 05:58 p.m. Here's the only picture we took at AX: Aww...aren't ya'all so cute? Heehee. We should take pictures more often, people! There's no need to be scared of the camera! >:P
Kathy - 08:31 p.m. Bleh. Bad day. I got a B on both my English essay and Calc tests. ;_; Anyone wanna go out to lunch or something tomorrow? I guess Jean and Jane can't because of your tests? Anyone else? I have class at 1:30PM though...but I can go anytime before then. And it's so boring, that I won't mind missing some of the beginning. (Curve sketching...again) Crystal? Sarah? Jenn? Anyone? Call me or msg me. I NEED TO GO OUT! x.x
Jean - 10:23 p.m. Hee, you guys. Thanks so much. :) Crystal - 03:20 p.m. Jean ^_^ HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! Maybe I'll come over later and tie a balloon to your mailbox . Your turning 16 :P You should go get your license. Hope you have a great birthday!
Kathy - 01:07 a.m. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEAN!
Ok, I can't make cake, ok? >:P And there's only 6 candles...just pretend there's a big fat 1 in front of that 6. -_-;;
Jane - 10:27 p.m. For now, count me out. =( I'm not a 100% sure yet. I'll come to the barbecue though if I can. I shouldn't eat so much though because I have to take my passport picture soon and I don't want to look like a big ball of yellow asian fat. I'll scare the airport people. The last passport I had was in 3rd grade. It's really sad how I don't go anywhere. Oop, my dad's home, I'll maybe see you guys on Sunday. ^_^
Jean - 11:45 a.m. I finally filled out my Personal History Form. *sigh* I'll make an entry just so you two don't feel like you're having a personal conversation. :P I can't go to Anime Expo. Boo. Oh, well. I don't know if I can go to your BBQ, Crystal. I want to but I don't know. I'll have to ask my parents...I probably won't know until that day. Haha.
Well, I need to go start studying for this stupid Women in American History exam. Identifications and essays!! >:T Jane, I bought 4 blue books. Do you want two? I'll see you in six hours and you probably won't see this before, so...oh, well. They are cheap: 23 cents each. Four of them were 99 cents. Haha. Okay, I'm off to go study. Crystal - 08:45 a.m. Okie sounds good. We'll meet at 7 my house then. Jane are you coming?
Kathy - 11:04 p.m. Oh, I take it back. Suzie msged me and told me it was ok. She's just gonna download them because she's still at UCR (summer school). She has a T3 connection there (uncapped!), so she can just get them herself. I'll ask my parents about the BBQ. Stefani and Beckie are moving to their apartment this weekend, so it will be a bit chaotic here. But I can still go to AX. Oh yea, Jenn msged me and said she could go also. How come no one else writes anymore? x.x I feel like I'm having a private conversation with Crystal, haha. ^_^;;
Crystal - 09:11 p.m. okie sounds good ^_^ im not sure if prince of tennis is done yet, but i can give her what i have so far. Just tell me when i guess:P and i need her address...forgot which house ^____^ having a BBQ for sure on Sunday at 6pm so if anyone wants to eat you can just show up. My mom's cousin is coming from Japan with her daughter and my mom likes to have BBQs when relatives come over. They never eat much so we have lots of food.
Kathy - 04:27 p.m. The brown hair guy isn't cute. :T But is the second picture Kaitou Dark?!? Dark-san is sooo cuuute~! ^_^ I was talking to a friend about the expo, and she said it actually never ends. It never closes! So we could actually spend 24 full hours there if we wanted to. So I was thinking we leave at like 6:30? We'd get there at about 8AM and then volunteer for 4 hours until it was noon. Then we could eat lots and play around at the expo. You can leave the place and comeback all you want as long as you have your badge with you at all times. I think your badge says the time and date you got there, so that we won't go over our "one day" time limit. ^_^ I asked my mom and she said I could go, so yay! Crystal, could Suzie borrow your Prince of Tennis? She's coming back home today, so do you think you could drop it off at her house or something? I have her cell # if you wanna call her. Tell me if you're not too busy to do that, and I'll go call her to tell her. Ok?
Crystal - 08:20 a.m.
Isn't he kawaiii! ^_^
okay for anime-expo my dad's taking us and my sister and my cousin is coming too. I wanna leave at 7 so we can finish volunteering by lunch time. So you guys think you can get to my house by 7? Hopefully, we'll stay until it closes at 6 and then we'll go find a restaurant to eat dinner. Bring $25 and your filled out volunteer form. Who's going? It's this Saturday soo...^____^
now that I got that out of the way...what is everone doing for 4th of july? I think I'm going to watch fireworks on TV. hehe ^_^
I'm sleepy. Come over and swim. Oh yeah i might have a BBQ on Sunday. You can all come for free food. We might have too much ^__^
Kathy - 06:25 p.m. I archived everything, but I was kinda one day late. So even though it's for the month of June, it has our July entry in it too. Oops. :P
