![]() Kathy - 04:40 p.m. Wow, Crystal! You have a pho guy, how cute. ^_^ I wish I had some guy to buy me food! My math class has no hot asians...only the scary, ghetto ones. Math test is Thursday, nervous! English essay due Thursday, boo! I really hate English. -_- And there's no hot asian guys in there either. There's this scary, ghetto Viet guy...and this normal-looking Viet guy, but he's too young. (16 years old, jailbait!) So yea...no guys anywhere. -_- Are we going to go somewhere for our Graduation trip? I wanna go eat, but I probably shouldn't. I gained a lot of weight over the weekend since my cousin came over. And of course, we had to show him all the different places to eat. So I gained like 4lbs in 3 days. -_-;; I went to AHS today to finally pick up my diploma. BAH! The office is closed until August 11th. -_- Oh well...I graduated, I really did! (I can just see UCI kick me out for not graduating or something, haha) Oh well.
Jane - 2:08 p.m. I haven't written in awhile. Crystal, I'll have to get back to you on the Anime-expo thing. One of my cousins were talking about doing a "cousin get-together" thing we do once in awhile over 4th of July weekend and I don't know exactly what day we're doing. We don't get together that often cuz the older cousins have work and the younger ones have school and our schedules don't match. I'll tell you for sure before the expo. I wanted to go too, still can't get over Hikaru no Go. Jean, that acknowledgement card isn't that important. All they did was stamp the day that they got it and send it back to you. It'll only be a problem if SOMEHOW the post office doesn't deliver it. Plus, you got the certificate of mailing right? As long as you have that, it's not that big a problem. I'll probably tell you this in person later since I'm going to see you in about 4 hours. This time I'm bringing food! Staaarving by the time class is over. ^_^
Sarah - 12:45 p.m. ahh green takeover crystal? well can't go the anime expo going shopping with aunt and watchin fire works. have fun pick up some asain guys ok, cept crystal since she has her pho guy. sorry can't write in complete sentences- just finished 15/25 pages of midterm, brain has lost much capacity. hmm avoiding midterm (50% of my grade) scary. this lil girl at my church was getting glue with a toothpick and i was like"hah glue-stick get it gluestick?" ha heh heh alright going back to the midterm... that frappicino didn't help it only made me sleepier and fatter- but it was soooo good guys. hmmmm (like homer simpson when he thinks about donuts or beer he goes 'hmmmm') ok ok
Jennifer - 11:30 a.m. Hey :^} everybody!!!!!! Crystal, I really do wanna go to convention, but I still have to ask my mom. Dont worry I will tell you soon whether or not I can go, but I think it will be a lot of fun, so hopefully I can come. Well, I had my first soc. test today and it wasnt that hard so Im really happy about that, hehehehe!!! Summer school really isnt as bad as I thought it would be, so its all been good!!!! For some reason, lately, I've been really into tennis cause Wimbledon has been on (thats how bored I am), and I have been enjoying watching it a lot. There is something really facsinating about watching people hit balls with rackets I guess. Ive also been trying to read Harry Potter, but I cant really get into it, I dont know why though?????? Oh, you guys dont have to worry about saying the name of the person who dies, I already know who it is, cause my big-mouth sister told me, so I think we all know who it is now, lol!!!!! Oh yeah, and Kathy, you should write to JK Rowling and tell her your success story about how Harry Potter made you want to read, hehehehe (J/K),geez, all those little kids and their success stories, hehehehe, xoxo!!!!!!! Crystal - 09:12 a.m. I just told my mom I was going to lunch today to eat pho with Courtney and her friend (a guy) and my mom saw me walking with him at the movies the other day. I asked her if lunch was okay and she asked me where I was going and I said to eat pho ^_^. Then she sounded all serious and I got worried and she asked me what the guy's name was. I blanked out!!! I said, "Uh...Uh... I remembered it yesterday" o.O and THEN she LAUGHED at me :( and she said "That says a lot." "Have fun!" >.<
Crystal - 10:47 p.m. Actually for AX I guess I can drive... ^_^, but my dad can always drive. Sarah? Jennifer? are you guys coming too? There's no one interesting in any of my classes. They're all old people. But there's this guy at work. He's okay i guess. I don't think there ARE any cute asains left. Tell me if you find some at UCI. This one guy...I think he's half cantonese and half mandarin is talking me out to eat pho tomorrow ^____^ love food. He's Courtney's friend, but...shaved hair >.< Work is boring, classes are boring, but my orientation is next week yeah! I get to see all the NOT good looking guys that are going to UCLA :( ::sniffle:: I can't wait til August. I'm going to New Jersey for two weeks. My mom said we might drive to Disneyworld ^_^ Space mountain YEAH! Do you think 7 is a good time to leave for anime expo? I kinda wanna get done with volunteering by lunch time ^___^ You guys should come over to my work sometime. It's in woodland hills...the valley. I get an hour or two for lunch so we could go get boba! Hope classes aren't too bad.
Kathy - 04:27 p.m. Ah, just got back from class. English was annoying. I wrote the essay kinda wrong... :T So now I have to go back and edit it. boo~ Math was ok, since all we're doing is curve sketching...AGAIN. I don't know how many times I can do this curve sketching thing over and over and over again. At least I get it this time. :P (Yea, it only took me three times, but I finally understand now... -_-) I was helping that retard guy next to me...he's not too good. He's taken the class three times also, but I guess it takes a bit more for him. And then there's this weird Korean guy who reminds me of roger (we met him at San Jose during convention). But he's weird and kinda arrogant too...and he's not even apart of the class. But they were talking about their cars and stuff and how they all souped 'em up (souped? Can't spell it; just sound it out). Dude, is that how the asian guys will be like at UCI? Because you know how we act a bit differently since we're Agouraians? :P Oh well...I hope it's not too freaky. Yay Sarah. Now our koob is complete! Stef actually found our first koob, which we started our sophomore year. Ah...memories~ Of course, the first entry was about the Buffy premiere. ^.^;; I haven't really read it, but I think it'd be cool to read it in a few years. (Then I'll know exactly how dorky I was, yay...) Harry Potter was annoying! How could she kill him? He was so cool. *_* Now I'm not really looking forward to the sixth one. If anything, I'll just borrow it at the library or something. My cousin and his fiance left to their trip around Europe. And Beckie and Stef are moving out next week too. They can finally go live in their apartment near UCLA. And then my aunt and uncle come back. -_- boo~ I don't really like them here. They weird...the only good thing is that they wash the dishes. (Considering my mom has to make food for two extra people...free-loaders!) I guess they're family or whatever, but still...they've invaded our "space". I still haven't asked about AX, but I promise I will soon. I'm just really lazy. :T And I think we should figure out the driving thing, because I don't think they'll let me drive there (when I actually think about it, heh heh). I didn't get to get my contacts over the weekend because we kept going out with our cousin. I think I'm getting the soft ones...but what brand? How much does it cost? It's kinda confusing, so ya'all contact wearing people, help me out. ^_^ I still haven't gotten my diploma either! :X I went once, but since my class ends so late, the office wasn't open. So I'm gonna try to go tomorrow, because I don't have class in the morning, yay! (I love Tuesdays!) Classes aren't really that bad. Math is easy. You know the formula crap on the covers of the book? We get to copy those 2 pages in the front panel and the last 2 pages on the back of the book. And then we also get 5 pages of hand-written notes. DUDE! How easy is that? And he gave us a "study guide" type thing of 25 questions from our homework to study. 5 of those problems will be EXACTLY on the test! (There's only 10 questions!) Wah...I better get a 100% on that test (Thursday)! If not, I'll feel pretty stupid. Especially because I've only been taking this class since Junior year. (Ah...Holden days... ::Shudders::) The bad thing is that I have my final essay due that Thursday also. I kinda want an A on it...because yea, I want an A! >:O See, I'm trying to be more studious or whatever you call it. Anyway, wish me luck! ^_^
Sarah - 11:19 a.m. hey! i made it hahaha sorry heat damage- sat in the car (with black interior)for 2 hrs since my class was canceled. there are no good songs on the radio go figure. anyway hope this entry doesn't come out retarded cause all your guys' was so purty... you all are so funny with the harry potter deal i think we all know who died right?- eh but i won't say it to keep the suspense alive. well i'm just going to go back to doing absolutley nothing at all. anyone enjoying summer now? eh (had to edit twice- man i suck at this)
Crystal - 08:22 a.m. Kathy...If you could drive that'd be great! It by Disneyland though. I don't know if you would want to drive that far. I think they're on the same street. My sister and her friends are probably going with my dad cause they're not old enough to volunteer. That english class sounds horrible. More essays? >.< Philosophy and Women's History aren't that bad. I only have a midterm and final in Philosophy, but the class is really boring. I just took my first essay test in History of anerican women. I wrote eight pages >.<, but it wasn't that bad, my whole essay was written out on my index card already hehe and I went home at 8. I think I like tests days better than normal days. I get to go home early!!!!! So Kathy and Jane are going to anime-expo right? Jennifer? did you want to go to. I should call Sarah to ask her. Can she get on the page yet? Okie back to work ^_^
Jean - 10:20 p.m. Well, I got my mom pissed at me. Jane, you know how we were supposed to mail all that stuff for Housing? Well, I mailed it, but I didn't notice until today that there was an acknowledgement card, 'cuz I'm stupid like that. So now I'm supposed to mail the acknowledgement card, but it won't be with the rest of my stuff, and they'll probably lose it. I don't know what to do about it, and my mom is pissed at me. *sigh* Can I just not mail the acknowledgement card? I don't really care about it. Argh. Everybody in my house is on a short fuse tonight. My cousin's not that bad anymore, though, which I suppose is a blessing. However, I don't think I can stand him *and* my brother together. They are very very noisy. ::sigh:: I need to finish reading Chapters 4 and 5 for the History of American Women class. Okay, I'm sleepy, so I'm going to shut up for now. Kathy - 07:50 p.m. I asked Stef if she wanted to go to the AX also. ^_^;; I haven't asked my parents yet, but I could ask them if I could drive also. As long as someone tells me where to go, I'll go. ^.^;; I'm tired of Harry Potter. I was so disappointed by the book. -_- Stupid. Anyway, I asked my Dad if I could get contacts and he said it was ok. So I think we might go tomorrow to get them. Yay! Now I can see all the time. Jean, no thanks. I'm happy listening to my cousin. ^_^ Who's your cousin, anyway? Karen's lil brother? What an uneventful weekend. :T I need to write another stupid essay for English (rough draft due Monday) and I have my first math test on Thursday. I hope I get at least an A- on the essay...and for some reason, I really want to get a 100% on the math test. @.@ Strange. Anyway, time to eat. Taco Bell for dinner...mmm... ^__^v Crystal - 06:42 p.m. The enime-expo is next weekend so we have to figure out transportation pretty soon. Does anyone wanna drive to Anaheim? I guess my dad can take us if no one wants to drive...my sis wants to go too :P
I didn't see any of you guys at graduation either. I bumped into Sarah but I had to rush home to get changed ^_^ sorry jane. I never got my diploma either, but oh well, I guess I don't need it. Hmmm nothing else to say. ^_^ Oh yea you cannot believe how boring Philosophy is. DON't take it if you don't have to. Jane - 05:52 p.m. I'm still in Harry Potter mode so if you don't want to hear about this stuff, just skip my entry ^_^ I knew I just wrote this morning but I couldn't help myself. There was this interview with J.K. Rowling and people were asking questions about the books. One was "Are you going to write a book about Harry after he graduates from Hogwarts?" And then she said "Everyone's so confident that Harry will live to graduate." And that wasn't the only one. There were like three other interviews where she HINTS at the idea of killing him. Don't kill him off!! I've really got to get hobby . . . .
Jean - 02:50 p.m. Hey, Kathy, do you want my cousin? *sigh* He's really annoying. You can ask Jane. However, my uncle bought me this new cool LCD monitor, so it's all good. I really suck at sharing, though. It's really hard for me to give up the computer. He uses it just as often as I do, if not moreso! I'm addicted so nobody else can be, otherwise I go through withdrawal symptoms. Haha. >:T He bought CounterStrike and now he's all pissed 'cuz he "bought the wrong version" or something, and he can't play online blah blah blah blah blah blah blah...
And I was being stupid last night. I think I pissed somebody off pretty badly. I was talking to person #1 and then halfway through my conversation with her, this other person (person #2) messages me and tells me that she had been talking to #1, but #1 had said "brb for 10 mins" and left for over an hour. I didn't tell #2 that #1 had spent most of that time talking to me. But I kinda really wanted to talk to #1, so I didn't tell #1 to go talk to #2 until a while later. And then #1 tells #2 that she had been talking to me, and so now #2 is pissed at me. *sigh* It's my fault, too. *rolls eyes* (Hah. I don't think that #1 #2 business made any sense, but that's okay. I felt really bad about it last night.) :(
I don't know about anime-convention. I'm not really pro-yippee-anime, and that's a tough weekend for me to work out. I guess we'll see. Only six more weeks of Moorpark summer school, and then we're done! Whoohoo!
And Jane, I left *really* soon after graduation. I couldn't find you guys, so I just left and went to pick up my diploma. Oopsies. Sorry. Hehe.
Jane - 02:23 a.m. Wow, look how much we've written already and school hasn't even started yet. My dad finally got around to developing the pictures he took at graduation. He wants to make doubles for my family because tomorrow is yet ANOTHER bowing day for me. Yay for my knees. They're getting tired of hitting the floor. -_-;; Where were all of you guys at graduation? I went around the football stadium (with Joan following me with the camera) twice looking for the rest of our little Asian group. I couldn't find any of you guys. Was there like a special corner that I didn't know about where you guys were hiding? =Þ Crystal, you can count me in for the anime-expo (I'm not a 100% sure if I can go but I'm pretty sure I'm not doing anything that day). I filled out those forms and stuff. The worst thing happened: My favorite anime/manga (well, at this moment) got licensed. Hikaru no Go is licensed! =**( I was only like 30 chapters away from the end of the manga and TWO episodes away from the end of the anime. They'll probably finish off the anime series but what am I gonna do about the manga?? One big reason for going to the expo: I want to see if they have the last few volumes of Hikago. They sell manga there right? Ah, well, if they don't I guess I can go Little Tokyo or something. Booo . . . They suck. Do they really think that Americans are going to be interested in reading about a Japanese board game? I don't know how I got sucked in, I don't even play go. Nobody better license anything else! Booooooo . . . . . .
Kathy - 10:46 p.m. Hey. My cousin from New Zealand is over. ^_^ His accent is sooo cute. His fiance is with him. She's cool. ^.^;; I want to go to the anime expo! Let's all dress up, muhahaha! My internet connection has been craaazy lately! I don't know what's up with it, but I get disconnected every 5 minutes or so. -_-;; Anyway, let's go. :D I'll ask if I could drive over there, but I'm not sure if my parents would let me take everyone. :T I think they don't trust my driving skills. O:X More ranting: You know how I do those weird singing things? So last year, we did SMTown's "Summer Vacation" song and I named the group IRCTown (since the people who sang were all from IRC...it only made sense, kekeke). So this year, I'm doing SMTown's "Hello! Summer!" song. But this b**** who was in the one last year (it's a long story, but no one likes her. She's annoying and stuff and bossy >:T ), Moni, decides to take the same song and do one also. Ok, I guess I don't care if people do a singing group thing too, since it's not like I can prevent anyone from karaoke-ing. :P But her group is also called IRCTown and she stole stuff off my page! I had a list of guidelines to audition, and she just took that! >:O B****! GET YOUR OWN FREAKING IDEAS, DUMBBUTT! >:O Ok, ranting is done. You guys wanna sing a song for ourselves? I really like the new Sugar song, "Shine". It's pretty and easy to sing. (Except for Ayumi's part, but it's actually not too bad) Tell me if you guys wanna sing. All you need is a microphone...headphones work also. (Remember in Physics how we learned that microphones and speakers work the same? Well yea...THEY ACTUALLY DO WORK THE SAME WAY!)
Crystal - 08:26 a.m. Are people reading the entries??? LOL read my last one! We're getting together next weekend k? for the anime expo ^_^ Here Ill put in a banner so you won't forget:
So can everyone go? :P Next Saturday the 5th. Tell me if you can go. If we have a problem with Saturday, we could go Sunday. It'll be fun even if you don't like anime :P Don't forget to fill out the volunteer form. I put a link in my last entry.
Jane - 04:39 p.m. Yes, yes, it was very sad when (insert name here) died. Aww, poor Harry. Poor guy that died, etc, etc. I've gotten over it, or rather, it's not as sad when you read it over again. I really liked the last scene with Harry and Dumbledore. I don't want to give it away to the people who haven't read it, but I was all, "Go, Harry!" If anyone happens upon this page and read what we wrote, we would look really geeky. Oh, well, I'm the biggest Harry Potter freak there is so I won't say anymore. ^__^ You know what else I realized about the book? Besides the pages being thinner, the font's smaller. And even at the end, it says that the font size is 11.5, in the other ones it was size 12. The book could've been so much bigger if they didn't do that. Anyway, to get off the Harry Potter topic, do you guys want to have a get together? I've got to leave around the beginning/middle part of August and I get back right before school starts. So, this may be one of the last times we all hang out together as one group. So sad. =( We should go have fun, something besides eating the whole time, we could go bowling (Kathy, I'm determined to get a score higher than 100 -_-;;) or something else that includes physical movement (and then go eating). Let's go!! ^__________^
Jean - 02:23 p.m. I am still ticked about Harry Potter. Jane is so sick of me. Haha. HOW COULD SHE???? SHE SHOULDN'T HAVE KILLED ________!!!!!!! _________ DIED!!!!!! >:T >:*( Freak her! I liked _______ a lot!!! >:T >:T >:T I cried when I got to the end. Haha. I can't believe ___________ is gone. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. Okay, fine. I'm done. For now. >:T Crystal - 08:21 a.m. I know! It's sad but the book is a little different from the others, but I still liked it. So convention is next week. Lets plan to go on Saturday. We could volunteer in the morning and go play the rest of the day. Does anyone feel like driving? Its in the Anaheim convention center from July 3-6. This is the site: www.anime-expo.org. Actually for the ticket you have to pay first and then after four hours you get a refund. Ok I'm just gonna give you a bunch of info so I won't forget it. We're suppose to meet in the Palisades room, Hilton Hotel. Don't pre-register, but we need to fill out a volunteer form and bring money for registration. (We get it refunded later, I think its $25). On Saturday Its open from 8am to 6pm and we can eat dinner after ^__^. I hope Saturday is okay with everyone. I'll look for more stuff about it. Fill out the volunteer form and bring it with you. Don't forget money! You don't need a membership ID so ignore that. You can look at the schedule for convention too. We also need to figure out how we're gonna get there.
Kathy - 09:27 p.m. OMF(reaking)G! I really hated HP5! >:*( HOW COULD SHE?!? HOW IN THE HELL COULD SHE KILL THAT PERSON?!?!?!?!?!? I LIKED THAT CHARACTER SO MUCH TOO. ;_; BOO @ AUTHOR! BOO, I SAY!!! Enough with the caps. -_-;; Boo. :*( To Sarah: Your font code is #FF00FF. So write your entry like this: <FONT COLOR="#FF00FF">TYPE BIG FAT ENTRY HERE!</FONT><P><IMG SRC="http://www.kmon.net/ses/koob/line.gif">
Jennifer - 04:48 p.m. Hey Guys :^}!!!!!! Wow, its finally hot today, I like how it finally feels like summer :^}, hehehehehehe!!! Anyway, Sarah can log in now, but for some reason Sarah and I have to put a space in between "the koob" in order to log in, strange since none of you guys have to do that, maybe its cause we live on the same street, who knows. Well, now Sarah just needs those codes from you, Kathy, in order to start writing some entries too. Anyway, class has been same old same old, but my prof told some really interesting stories that caused some "rousing" debate, hehehe!!! Unfortunately, it still didnt keep me from looking at the clock every second, oh well. Adding on to my boredom, there are no attractive guys in my class, at least if there were it would be something to focus my attention on, but no there is no such thing in my class. Whoever said college guys were cute is wrong, but I guess like they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, whatever, hehe!!!!! Well, my sister and I finally got the new Harry Potter, but I have only read one chapter cause my sister wont let go of it. Darn, I should have gotten two copies, she is so annoying!!! Anyway, I really want to see Pirates of the Carribean because that Legalus guy and Johnny Depp are in it, hehehe!!! I think Johnny Depp is pretty cute when he doesnt have long hair, but too bad he's so old and married to some French singer now, oh well!!!! Well, I think Oliver Bloom looks really good though, so even if the movie is bad at least looking at him will keep me awake!!!! Well, the anime convention sounds like a lot of fun :^}. My friend Emily went last year and she said she had loads of fun,and she said all the costumes were really funny so it would be really cool if we all went!!!!! Well, I got to hit the books now, so Ill talk to you later, ciao (Italian, cool huh?), hehehehe!!!!
Kathy - 04:10 p.m. Just got back from summer school. Parking *really* sucks. -_- Anyway, the English class is ok-ish. I got my "narrative essay" (story) back, and I got an A-! Yay. And I only spent like 5 hours total (including all my zillions of breaks) on it. YAY! ^_^ Math is pretty ok also. I haven't learned anything, but I sure feel smart (considering I've just taken the class, but whatever. -_-) I took my teamquiz thing with that Peter Cha guy again. He said he never comes to the lecture part of the class (he always comes late) because he already learned it. But when we were trying to do the stuff, he seemed to forgot most of it. I think he needs some practice. But we did the quiz thing together and got it all correct. Yay! So hopefully, I'll get an A in both English and in Math. Crystal, let's all go to the anime convention! It actually seems like it would be fun to volunteer there. We should dress up like all those cosplay people! (Ok...maybe not...) FREE COLD STONE'S ICE CREAM => JULY 24! (5PM-8PM) That's a Thursday...hmm. Maybe we should do something on that day? I can drive over to Westlake and get ice cream. Then visit the Janss mall to get some more. And then again on Wendy when I'm coming back home! *_* Ice cream...mmm! :O~~~
Crystal - 08:16 a.m. Hey I forgot to tell you that anime Convention is coming up. It starts July 3 I think so maybe we could go on Saturday. We get in free if we volunteer for four hours so you guys wanna go? I think its in Long Beach again.
Crystal - 08:32 a.m. Hey! I finished Harry Potter ^_^ yesterday :P It was pretty good! Didn't enjoy orientation? I'm soo sleepy. I don't think I like summer anymore. All this typing and boring Moorpark classes. It's really scary walking to my car at night >.<.... This is gonna be a short entry. Dont have any news, lets go eat!
Kathy - 10:23 p.m. Ah, so the week continues. Week 2 of summer school! The day was alright. We turned in our essays in English, but the rest of the class was boring. In math, it was also kinda boring. We learned the Power Rule, Product Rule, and Quotient Rule for derivatives! (How exciting... -_-;;) And then I sat next to that stupid guy again. Peter Cha? Is Cha a Korean last name? I've never heard of it before, but he doesn't exactly look Chinese to me. So I paired with him for the quiz, but it was ok. I knew that answer! :O And he said I was "smart", hahahaha! XD Maybe because he's not too bright? That's his third time taking that class. @.@ Dude, just hurry up and pass it! Even though it's weird to hear me say it, but just study a little! x.x I'd hate to retake a class THREE times. (It's like Cano's class...over and over and over again...scary! ;_;) I've been watching Card Captor Sakura. So cuuute! :D And I've been reading Harry Potter slowly also. I don't wanna read it really quickly like I did the 4th book, because I can hardly remember that one now. :T I'm more than half way through, but I've been watching too much CCSakura ^_^ Ah...so cuuute. How come those cute/romantic things don't happen to me, ehhh?!? Boo! Heehee. Orientation sounded like *fun*! Who wouldn't like to hear things over and over again? The koob seems to be working well, BTW. ^_^ I write in this thing more often than my own blog, kekeke. Sarah still hasn't gotten it to work? Maybe Jennifer could help her out with that since...you're right next door! :D Ok, I'm out. Later.
Jean - 03:50 p.m. Yippee. Orientation. I had to get up at 4 to drive down to UCSD for Warren Orientation. [sarcasm] I had the time of my life. [/sarcasm] I really need to hear how we're not supposed to drink since we're underage, but everybody drinks anyway, so blah blah blah. Actually, I guess UCSD is a relatively dry campus, which I like. Line dancing, though, doesn't quite do it for me, since it brings back lovely memories of Hodgson and dance class in 9th and 10th grade. I was very tired and sleepy, and I think I still am.
I slept through the first half of calculus today. They were reviewing homework. I woke up and started paying attention around 8:40. We have a math test tomorrow. Eeks. I hope I do well. I really don't feel like studying. I got there at 7:27 today and he had already started! My history teacher better start on time...not early. I'm still working on reading Chapter Three of that lovely book. It's very boring. On the other hand, I started Harry Potter, and it's not quite as boring as my history book. I like it so far, and I don't want it to end, so I'm trying to read it sort of slowly. I'm only on Page 300-something-or-other. Speaking of Harry Potter...I'm off to go read again.
Psst. Did y'all notice how often we talk about sleep or being sleepy? Hehe. Jane - 02:27 p.m. ::yawn:: Sleepy. So, I'm back from the orientation. Wasn't the most fun we've ever had, Jean? I was so excited to sit there in that lecture hall listening to people spout stuff I've already heard before. -_-;; The first thing I did when I came home was take Harry Potter from Joan and start reading. Hmmm . . . . for some odd reason while I was reading it, it didn't feel like a Harry Potter book to me. It reminded me of some fanfics I read. The whole time, I kept moving around the house trying to find the most comfortable position to read. The damn book is so big. My arms got tired of holding it. Alex was right Jean. The 5th and 4th book are about the same size. Even though the 5th book has more pages, the pages itself are thinner than the previous ones. Heeee, I measured. ^_____________^ I liked it though. It was a little different than the other ones. Now I've got to start counting down until the 6th one and then after that, the 7th one. So sad, it's gonna be over soon. I hope that class is cancelled again. I fell in love with that piece of paper as it hung off the door on Thursday. "Class Cancellation" I'm really not in the mood to sit there for three hours when I could be reading Harry Potter again.
Kathy - 11:12 a.m. Hey! Woah...I slept at 4:30AM last nite, and I'm not sleepy. :O AND, guess why I stayed up! Watching anime? Playing online maybe? Nope, I was reading@ :O :O :O Shocking, I know. We finally got the Harry Potter 5 book (after waiting in line for three hours -_-;;) So far, so good. :D Stef is reading HP4, but she doesn't like it so far. The beginnings are always kinda boring, huh? :T Ok, time to rant a bit! You remember how I was doing that singing thing on IRC? We sang SMTown's "Summer Vacation", right? Well, my little "IRCTown" project thing is gonna start again because SMTown released another summer album. So I was gonna do their "Hello! Summer" song, and gather people to sing it like last time. Ok now...there's this annoying guy, jeffy, and it's really annoying because after I started my lil IRCTown thing. He decides to start his own (which I have no real problem with, *I guess*... (that freakinglilcopycatbrat! ...yea, I guess...), and I already wrote down on my page that I was gonna do that "Hello! Summer" song. So then he goes asking me questions about how I do this and that. >:O Here was the conversation:
jeffy: kathy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then he e-mails me asking how to make things karaoke and stuff. Why start the project when he knows already that I'm doing that song (because he obviously went to the site), and ask me for help? And I don't even think that the IRCTown is what bothers me as much as he bothers me. "You didn't say 'Hi' to me fast enough" and then he'd leave because he was angry. -_- And try to make me feel guilty. wth is that? >:O
jeffy: kathy kathy kathy AHHH, ANNOYING PEOPLE! 'cha. Now I feel the pressure of doing it really well (my competitive side? OMG, another shocker!) because it'd be weird to have TWO groups doing the same song, wouldn't it? -_-;; Oh well, I'm done.
Crystal - 08:20 a.m. HEY ^_^ I'm at work. I just sit here and eat all day, but I get to play online which is probably bad for me. It's kinda boring. Let's go to the beach one day! We can take the beach bus by Lindero. I think it runs on Saturdays too! Are we going to buy Harry Potter on Friday? What do you write in a koob? Yesterday, I drove all the way to Moorpark and class was cancelled. >.< I had to walk all the way from the overflow parking too. It's a big long hill. o.O Ummm hmm what else...Oh yea. I went to Courtney's graduation last Thursday right? I met one of her friends...I forgot his name, but I was kinda quiet and the other Krystle was there too. Court called and she said that he asked for my number so she gave it to him. Then...after gradnight and chaperoning (I don't think thats spelled right...) at Disneyland I only slept like 2 hours. I come home and I fall asleep and he calls me at 11:30. >.< So I told him about gradnight and stuff and he asks "Do you want me to call back later?" and I say "Yea. That would be good" So he says that he'll call back later and he never called back....I think I scared him away ^_____^ ::shrugs:: Okay...now someone else write something interesting and don't comment on my lack of affinity towards guys >.< I'm not that scary.::pouts:: Crystal
Kathy - 08:40 p.m. 4 out of the 6 have kooblogged! I gave Crystal the info, so hopefully (if she's not too busy with all that work/school stuff), she can start bloggin' soon! For Sarah, we have a slight problem. She can't seem to login? @.@ Sooo...maybe we can figure that out soon. When she tries to login, she just gets redirected back to the login page. :T I don't know what's up. Anyway, today was ok. It felt like HS again since I slept SUPER early (11PM) and woke up SUPER early (6:30AM) just so I could get a freakingstupidannoying PARKING SPACE!!! (Damn you Moorpark Parking Lots!) Yea, so I got there around 7:20AM. My class doesn't start until 10:30AM. -_-;; So, I decided to check out the other M025A class (7:30-10:20). It was some Spanish dude (Enriquez?). He turns in homework daily, and he seems kinda hard. But the good thing is, he seems to know what he's doing. The professor I have now is this Chinese dude from 1:30-4:30. See...I wanted to change my class to the first one because I'd be in school from 7:30-1:30. But the Spanish dude is so much harder! Dad said it won't matter since I "know" the stuff already, but I want an easy professor! XD And the Chinese dude, Lin, is funny. He brought candy for us today! (Feed me? Good professor!) So I got a normal size Twix and M&M's! Muhahaha!!! So I don't know what to do. :T Have my schedule all happy or get a for sure A with funny prof who can't teach that well? Booo. I don't know. Last day to add/drop is Monday the 23rd. Decisions, decisions. -_-;; I'm kinda excited for Harry Potter now. I'm gonna try to reread the fourth book all tonight. Unfortunately, Vickie's friend who had all her books up at Berkeley, had some weird hostage type book deal. (That friend owed his roommate money, so the roommate took all his books "hostage"...including HP4!) So yea...I have to read 'em all on the computer. (My eyes! ::Goes blind::) Oh well. ^_^ There's some things I will do for HP. (1. Read; 2. Strain my eyes; 3. Read?) Go Harry Potter!
Cute, huh? Anyway, I probably shouldn't write anymore. ^_^v Bye bye.
Jennifer - 06:53 p.m. Hi guys, how are you doing? Wow, its been such a long time since I have seen any of you except for Sarah 'cause we carpool together to Moorpark. Anyway, Moorpark has been interesting to say the least. We spent almost 2 hours discussing evolution in Sociology, and lets just say I had some very disturbing flashbacks of Mrs. Blaiwes' class, hehehehe. Nonetheless, Sociology is a pretty cool class overall, but I hate how class participation is a part of your grade. Geez, that totally ruins the essence of the class and it means I have to stay awake. Well, I guess you can't have it all, hehehe. Anyway, Kathy, that sucks that Calc. is so boring and Im sorry that your History of Women class is so boring too Jean. Hey, at least you guys get it over with in the summer so you dont have to be bored to death during the school year. Well, Im gonna keep it brief 'cause I have to go, but I really hope you guys are having a good summer despite the setbacks that both Moorpark and Agoura have inflicted, and I hope to see all of you soon. Hey, arent you guys excited for the next Harry Potter, I certaintly am. Maybe, we will see each other in the process of trampling little kids to get it, hehehe. Lets just hope I can rack up some cash to buy it, cause Im kind of penniless now, one can only hope . . . . ! Jean - 04:06 p.m. Kathy, I'm sorry you had a bad day, but thank you for reserving a book for me. Be nice to other drivers! I *finally* finished the reading we have to do for History of Women in America or American Women or whatever it's called. Forty-five pages on women! Women of whom I have never heard! We were supposed to read a hand-out transcript of a trial with Anne Hutchinson, but I only had every other page (9, 11, 13, and 15), which makes it just a little bit difficult to follow. I don't know if I can sit through three hours about European women. *rolls eyes* Math, on the other hand, was pretty cool today. We're differentiating (is that a word?) and integrating vector something-or-others. They make cool pictures that I can't draw. Holden draws them pretty well, though. Harry Potter comes out Saturday, but now my mom doesn't *really* want to let me go. >:T I hope I can go. I guess we'll see. Kathy - 07:49 p.m. What a horrible day. -_-;; I'm in a bad mood now, boo! Math is extremely boring. I need a Jeanpillow to keep me company. English is boring also. We're learning how to write a college essay, which is almost exactly the same way we've been writing essays since we were in middle school. -_-;; I went to AHS to pick up my diploma, but the office already closed. -_- They better not throw it away or something. After my really bad day, I had to drive home. DAMN FREAKIN' CARS DRIVE SO SLOWLY! People have to push the GAS pedal. I missed the light TWICE because of damnfreakinghellaslow cars! >:O I went to Barnes and Noble to "reserve" the HP5 book. [I reserved 2 books: one for me and one for Jean] I was extremely tempted to go to Cold Stone's to eat my troubles away [comfort food!], but I decided against it. Now I'm hungry, icecreamless, and still in a bad mood. >:O Ah...this makes me feel better. Let's make fun of Mr. O_O. Anyone remember how I have this donkey [aka ***] that looks EXACTLY like Mr. O_O. Lookie:
Muhahaha, I'm mean. But doesn't it look like him? If Mr. O_O was an *** [which I'm not saying he isn't already], I bet he'd look like that. -_- Ok, I still feel angry and frustrated...but better. -_-
Jean - 04:53 p.m. Oh, I'm so sleepy...Kathy, you should've taken the 7:30 AM class so that I would've had company that early in the morning. I've been late both days so far. My bad. Summer school sucks (hee! Alliteration!). I don't think Holden remembers me, which is sort of sad. He still teaches the same way, though, and so far it's alllllll been review. I compared my notes from this class to my notes from MA in 11th grade, and they read almost exactly the same. Hopefully I'll learn something new soon. We learned 3-D graphing (again!) today, and he asked if anybody already knew how to graph with x, y, and z coordinates. I raised my hand (I still remembered doing it with colored pencils and making it look all nice...), but I was the only one who raised my hand. Oops. I start that stupid American women history literature whatever class tonight. It better not be boring, otherwise I think I'm going to fall asleep. I went to the library today and carted home eight books. Now let's see how many I actually read. Teacher called to cancel piano lesson tomorrow. Whoo. That means I don't have to practice today. O:) Rescheduled it for Sunday. Booo...I have to go after getting back from Orientation. Jane, when are we supposed to sign up for classes? I did that little pre-orientation thingy we were supposed to do, but...I'm confused. And what do we need to bring? Sleeping bag? Or something? Okay, I'll be quiet now. Class soon. Kathy - 08:25 p.m. Jane, that sucks. I forgot to pick up my diploma, oops. And the library can be really annoying sometimes. How come you always seem to "lose" your books? First Lau, and now the library...huh. Anyway, I guess we're both having bad days. Argh! So I'm taking Moorpark classes, yea know? English [10:30-1:20] and Math [1:30-4:30]. So I get there at 9:50AM and I drive around to find a parking space. NONE! I drove around for like 20 minutes with no luck. So I had to park across the street from the school, insideinsidesinside this residential area. So I walk for a zillion years [it sure felt like that], and I run towards the school. Well, it was about 10:15AM and I couldn't find where my class was. I saw Jennifer S. there and talked to her for a bit. When I finally figured out where I had to go [the library], it was already 10:20AM. ;_; So I run run run [I actually ran!], and I finally got to the classroom. What was there? A big fat note "The teacher will be late. Class will start at noon today" . . . -_-;; BAH!!! All that running for nothing! So I went to the Bookstore to buy my 3 books. There was a huge freakin' line so they decided to close the bookstore temporarily 'til the line got smaller. So I was waitingwaitingwaiting for the stupid line to get smaller. The dude opened the doors again and I rushed inside. Then it was all crowded and stuff, but I had to get my books. So I got my two English books [Used] and then I had to go find the Calc book. [Seventh edition. I have fifth and sixth edition already ;_;] So I heave them books up in my arms and run towards the mile-long line. There were actually several lines...it felt like the Indiana Jones ride at Disneyland. -_-;; So when the register was remotely visible, I saw a sign "Visa and Mastercard Only". WHAAA?!? ;_; I only have Discover. ::Falls over:: So I lifted up the books and walked out of the line which I was waiting in for so long. I put the books back and left. The English class was weird. I don't like it. We have to write a story about one of the students we interviewed. She played soccer for a long time, so I guess I'll write a story with that. Math was incredibly boring. The prof was Chinese, so he had this funny accent. He's also just funny on his own, but he doesn't know how to teach. Ya know how I kinda thought Mr. O_O taught out of the book? Well, this dude practically READS out of the book! It's like it's attached to his hip or something. -_- Good thing I only learned limits TWICE! :P We're only gonna be doing Chapter 1-6. Phew. The stuff that I kinda know already. Ok, I'm done. -_-
Jane - 07:09 p.m. Where's everybody else? Crystal, Sarah, Jennifer? Let's the koob going. Thank God, I'm away from Agoura High. Even after I leave, they still manage to screw things up. I got a notice in the mail saying that I can't get my diploma because I didn't turn in my physics book BUT I remember that I turned it in with my calculus book. So, I go there today and the nice brown haired librarian said she was sorry but the only thing I could do was go in the stacks and find the book with my barcode number. I go back there and wouldn't you know, the physics books are on the top three shelves where I could barely reach. So I start looking from the very top shelf, trying to find my damn book and I FINALLY find it at the bottom shelf. If that wasn't bad enough, that very same day, the stupid stupid stupid ass bank said that I can't open a checking acount because my school ID isn't valid anymore. I GRADUATED 3 FRIGGIN DAYS AGO! Do they really think that I would go through all that trouble to make a fake school ID? They're really retarded. Anyway, the good thing is that the bank will accept driver's licenses and credit cards as vaild IDs so my mom's getting me a credit card. Heh heh heh, thanks a lot Washington Mutual!
Kathy - 11:41 p.m. GradNite was fun, yea? ^_^ Well, it's time for some more koob writing, don't you think? Summer break has officially started, but summer school starts tomorrow. ;_; I'm taking M25A [Calc/Analy Geometry I] and M01A [English Composition]. Instead of taking the 7:30AM math class, I'm taking it in the afternoon. So I will be in school from 10:30AM-4:20PM. boo! Let's have a lil get together one day. I had all these fun games planned out for us. ^_^ We need to have all 6 of us there because we're supposed to be in 3 teams of 2. Ok?!? >:O Ok, enough koobloggin' for me. ^_^
Jean - 11:01 p.m. I'm going to try this again. Maybe I'll get it right this time. It's only taken me three tries so far. Third time's the charm, right? Graduation's tomorrow night. Eeks. And Grad Nite after that. Nobody wants to pick me up after Grad Nite! My dad said his sleep is more important than me. Haha. So...we'll see. Jane - 10:37 p.m. Hey, everyone. Since our moon koob is still in the trunk of my car (and I'm too lazy to get it out) I'm writing on this. I hope I do this right cause I have no clue about this kind of stuff but it doesn't seem that bad. Maybe it's better for me because I have the tendency to leave out words as I write. Heh heh . . . This way I can go back and correct it. So, it's the day before graduation. Who's sad? Just me? I'm all ready to cry my eyes out since I've been crying for the past two hours. Saddest movie I've seen: I Am Sam. I borrowed it because I wanted a good cry and Joan said it made her cry. My eyes are all puffy and red because of that. I hope they don't look like that for graduation. I'll see all ya'll there. Kathy! Take those pictures down! I look like a bloated elephant. My face is bigger than all yours combined. =Þ
Kathy - 03:39 p.m. Ok, testing out the koob thing again. You can use HTML codes, so...yea. Good stuff. ^_^ I'm not sure when you guys want to start the koob blog (kooblog!). How about when we actually start school? Because then we'll just be writing the same things over again because (for me, anyway) we'd just write what we did that day. (And most likely, I'll be spending my days with ya'all) Ok! Take a lookie at the pictures:
