About this blog:
I usually write about the manga that I'm currently reading. At times, I write about the anime I watched. Since it is hard to share and talk my thoughts about a certain manga series when people don't know about it, I tend to summarize them from Chinese scanlations so beware, this blog is filled with spoilers and they are not 100% perfect. I'm partly doing this to improve my Chinese. ^^ Feel free to point out my mistakes. ^^ Occasionally, I would blog about myself and other misc. things.

Back to Seiran who just got another beating, Haruto says that even if he thinks that it is amazing for Seiran to not use Anis’ blood to fight but he [Seiran] isn’t an expert in offensive attacks. “Could it be that you thought that you could win, against me who was able to attain the power of a Fake [knight]?” Seiran asks, “What you plan to doing with that ‘Fake’ power. (I was born into this world as a clone, and my existence can fundamentally be called as a ‘Fake’- but after meeting with Miss Anis, within my heart, something is born. The want to laugh. The want to cry. The want to be together with you. *Anis looking exhausted from climbing the stairs.* This kind of feeling. *touches chest* This feeling in my chest, won’t cease from being excited--) The most important of all, whether it is artificial or real, it is innate. *attacks Hakuto* and it is a strong emotion from within--!!” Hakuto asks him, what’s the big difference from before? “For you to intensely hit someone-- won't you die?” Preparing to attack, Seiran exclaims, “Even if my body is terribly cut up, I will absolutely continue to live on. (Because I and Miss Anise made an agreement--)” Meanwhile, Anis looks tired and it seems that she is only half way to go, but her feet won’t move already. “..that is true.. for I’m basically an ordinary girl so my blood strength is also ordinary. *lies down on the stairs* For me to be able to do this, up to this point, is already way pass.. striving my best..” Then, Anis hears someone calling her name. Anis wakes up and notices a smell. She is surprised to see spirit Yakoh over her. Anis quickly shouts if he has turned into a ghost. Yakoh frantically tells her that he still has feet. [^^; It is a common belief in Japan that ghosts don’t have feet/their feet cannot be seen.] Hugging her, Yakoh tells her that his consciousness is imprisoned within the machine that is located at the topmost floor of the building. “Because you are already quite close, I was able to talk with you at will. But, for things to unexpectedly become like this.. I’m sorry.. I’m sorry. –it is already enough.” This snaps Anis up and it makes her wonder what she is doing. Yakoh is surprised when Anis starts to climb up the stairs again. Anis tells him that from what he just said, does he think that she would just answer, ‘Really, then it is okay’. “To be told such words by an ‘idol’!! Towards an ordinary girl!! *Yakoh puzzled* Handsome guy, don’t come near me!! (Everyone is fighting. My Knights, and also Idel-- and Yakoh. Even Ella. Even if I’m always very afraid, but I won’t be discouraged because of this little thing--!!”
Tenjoh and Kaede continues to fight. Kaede exclaims, “Even with this much, I[/we] won’t be defeated by them!” Mutsuki forcefully frees himself and manages to grab hold of surprised Grey Rose’s neck. Hakuto is surprised when Seiran smirks and holds a bottle of liquid. There is an explosion. Narration: “Because..Anis... Anis, she.. Because Miss Anis ran off with all her might as if her life depended on it!” And, Anis is breathing hard but she has finally reached the topmost level of the building. Anis sees a huge machine in front of her. Yakoh tells her that is the thing that created the barrier. Looking around, Anis says that she thought that the Silver Rose will be there, and even her father isn’t there. Yakoh just says, “‘SILVER ROSE’ isn’t here..probably.” He asks her to start in making the machine stop. Tapping the machine, Anis asks if he knows how it is used. Yakoh shrugs and says that during this time, he only slept and when he goes back, Idel will definitely scold him. He tells Anis to ‘order’ the machine. Anis then shouts, “St-op--!!” The machine shakes hard. As the blood bubbles burst, Anis thinks that this way, the Grey Rose’s power will..” Back to Mutsuki, Grey Rose smiles and asks him if he is going to kill him again. Mutsuki says that he is already a ghost. Grey Rose says, “My only younger brother-- Mutsuki.” Preparing for the final blow, Mutsuki shouts for him to shut up. Then, someone is saying, “Mutsuki.. this time, we are..” Flashback: Young Mutsuki is about to kill Yocteau. Yocteau called out, “Que..ss.. you..” [formerly Kuesu] Quess slightly smiled and said, “..Finally..you are.. back to normal.. You..fool..” Then, Quess fainted. Yocteau remembered that he got caught up by the Devil’s aura and his nature drastically changed. “Were you.. the one who got me back to normal, always until you’ve exhausted your strength--.. It won’t be long before I turn into ashes-- but before that, *carried unconscious Quess* in order for the precious you-- to also, not be swallowed up by the devil’s seal.. *placed Quess in a coffin* Right now, just go in a deep sleep, *slightly awake Quess looked at his brother* Quess.. listen well, *huge moon hanging low in the sky* you are to become the Black Knight, take the ‘Rose Princess’ No-- take ‘your love’, attain it-- Thus.. *a tear fell on Quess’ cheek and Quess called out his brother’s name* you will.. definitely be HAPPY--.. Good night, (and also goodbye.) I love you..” Coffin slammed shut. End flashback. Mutsuki looks stunned over this memory that he regained. Crying Grey Rose says, “So that’s it.. This is.. the ‘love’.. that I had always been searching for..” Blurb: “Grey Rose also lost his ‘memories’--!!”
Hehe, Grey Rose can be pretty dumb..his proposal to save the other Roses and turn them into puppets..that is something no one will accept. It’s one thing to be saved, but it is totally a different thing to be made into his ‘puppets’. ^^; The Knights are really putting up a good fight even Seiran. Actually, even Anis..this is why I like her. She can be really spunky that she gets pumped up when someone is telling her to ‘give up’. I find the juxtaposed pictures of present and past of Mutsuki and Grey Rose amusing because before, Mutsuki has a smaller body and he has a bigger one, but now, it is the opposite. =P So, it turns out that the Grey Rose also had amnesia and Mutsuki didn’t really kill off his brother. Hehe..I’m a bit busy so TnK 28 is really unlikely for this week. It might be pushed back to next month..around second week or later. If I wasn’t able to finish BnK 35 by this weekend, I’ll just put it up after archive. There is a ‘deadline project’ that I’m working on, among other things, so the summaries might be a bit slow for around two weeks. I plan to do the easy summaries by next week so that the waiting for the updates won’t be that long.
For those who read Kanojo wa Uso wo Aishisugiteru, things are still a bit slow but things aren’t quite good for Riko. Wait for the proper summary at ankemaybe’s. I don’t have time for it and I just browsed this. In 27th song [/chapter 30 in Chinese], I find the cover page funny..because it kind of made me think ‘BL’ ^^;; Shinya and Shun are on the radio doing some promotion and they included Mush & Co.’s new single. They are teasing Riko who is also there. It is confirmed that Nagahama is indeed Miwako from the prologue. It seems that Shun likes Miwako who in turn likes Aki. Then, CP’s fangirls are starting to hate Riko. Shinya is a bit worried about it but Soichiro seems happy about it. Miwako is acting like a third wheel on the pretense to prevent gossips about Riko being Aki’s girlfriend. Riko is a bit jealous that Aki do not want to be seen with her but without her knowledge, Aki doesn’t want to be seen alone with Miwako, for Riko’s sake. ^^ After having a fit and remembering Aki telling her to abandon ‘common people things’ for fame, Riko reminds herself that the thing she wants is only ‘Aki Ogasawara’ and she promised to protect him. ^^ Then, Mari is infuriated upon hearing Riko’s new single because it seems to say that ‘even without Aki’s music, this will sell big’ and Riko is better than her. Then, Aki looks up to Riko’s room. He wonders if she is angry but, she also knows that he is also enduring. He knows that Riko hasn’t listen to the music he made for her. Then, he starts to hum a song that night, which he cannot convey to her. [<- not sure if the narration is Aki’s or Riko’s] So, the author is showing about the ugly side of fame especially if you are very close with a popular male band. Then, she finds herself in a Japanese old style room. She seems puzzled. Then someone holds her nape and says, “What is it, Hana.. Could it be.. that you had a scary dream?” Hana is surprised to see Umenosuke lying below her and holding her to him. Hana ends up screaming which surprises Umenosuke. Backing away from him, Hana exclaims what’s going on. Umenosuke tells her that for her to scream like that, it’s not quite sexy. Holding her chin, he asks freaking out Hana if she doesn’t remember what happened. “Yesterday, after I bought all the girls in this store.. *Flashback = partying with the girls* You only drank one mouthful and you collapsed. *Flashback = Hana drank one small cup of sake. She got dizzy and fell over. ^^;* But, I brought you to this place’s..” Nervous Hana exclaims if he did anything to her. Umenosuke chuckles and says that fundamentally, he wants to.. “But, you were hugging on to me very tightly and just slept like that..” Aghast Hana thinks, “Tightly..” She remembers hugging her pillow tightly in her dream and felt that it is quite comfortable. Dejected, Hana realizes that it was just a dream, just when she thought she had already went back. Umenosuke asks what is it, could it be that because he didn’t do anything made her regret it that much. Moving her hands around, Hana looks at him and calls him an idiot, for that is impossible. Preparing to leave, she thinks that this kind of place isn’t extremely loathsome but she also cannot endure it. “If I don’t quickly find a way back..” She then bumps into a fully dressed courtesan. Hana recognizes her as the sick girl yesterday. Offering her hand, Hana apologizes and asks if she is alright. Akari says she is okay. At the door, Umenosuke asks isn’t she Akari, and is something up. Akari says that it is nothing, but because of the loud noise, she thought that something had happened. Natsuki arrives and calls out to ‘neesan/sister’ if she is there. While helping Akari up, Hana looks surprised that Natsuki looks angry at her. After suddenly slapping Hana, Natsuki exclaims for Hana not to get close to his sister Akari. Umenosuke looks surprised while Akari shouts at Natsuki. Holding her face, Hana is puzzled over it. While Akari tries to pacify her, Natsuki exclaims that Hana is wearing strange clothes, and even if she doesn’t know where she comes from, she is an ojousama who doesn’t know anything about the world. Then, some of the women are looking out of their room and wonder what’s going on. Later on, Akari formally bows down to Hana to apologize for Natsuki’s rude behavior. She introduces herself as Shiramatsu [白松] store’s Akari, and her shinzo [新造 = new prostitute that has not started working; attendant of an older prostitute], Natsuki Ganzan. [<-guesswork name from 菜津山].
Akari tells Hana that yesterday she helped her but that kind of thing happened so she is really sorry for that. Natsuki tells her that there is no need to apologize, and they should quickly leave the room. Umenosuke laughs at Hana for being fiercely hit. Hana angrily asks what’s funny when she totally doesn’t know why she is being hit. Natsuki got angry that Hana unexpectedly didn’t know. Natsuki grabs Hana’s collar and asks if there is something wrong with her head. “Because you acted rashly, do you know that oneesan almost died!? The one whom you flying kicked yesterday is this store’s owner. Our lives as yujo, are in the grasp of his hand. Perhaps, an ojousama like you do not know that in the punishment room, you will be flogged without leniency. And aside from that, let me tell you.. oneesan is quite sick and weak that she won’t last a whole night of torture. Then, you would suddenly say that you don’t know why!? Stop kidding around!!” Hana looks surprised then apologizes for she doesn’t know. When Natsuki is asking if she is apologizing, Hana says, “But, about the owner, punishment room-something, I totally do not understand that-- because those guys are truly detestful.. using force to make other people listen and do something. *Natsuki looks surprised* That kind of thing.. is absolutely not normal.” Natsuki is irked by that but she couldn’t reply back. She then says that it is nothing. Looking at Umenosuke who is smoking, she tells Hana that it thanks to Umenosuke-sama, so nothing happened. “So let me tell you, you better properly thank him. And you also immediately collapsed last night!!” Hana says, ya. Looking at Umenosuke, Hana mutters that last night and this morning.. Umenosuke smiles at her and tells her that it is alright, the store’s yujo-s have already thanked him. Thinking that he saved him again, aghast Hana says, is that so.. Umenosuke says that compared to that, the things that is going in the store is really amazing for fundamentally, wasn’t the landlord suppose to be the capital’s secluded businessman, and not to mention about the women, he heard that the level of the servants are quite high. Akari asks if he knows the past landlord. Umenosuke says no, he also has business at the capital so he heard that kind of rumors. Akari says is that so. She tells him that the past landlord was stricken with illness and had passed away. “Gonpachi [guesswork name from 權八], the current landlord, is fundamentally the assistant landlord’s manager.. Because of gambling the store’s money.. He expanded his interests and starts to manage the place more recklessly.” Umenosuke comments that the manager has become the landlord. Akari[/Umenosuke] says that it has come to past and the landlord’s own family has caught that kind of rumors. Umenosuke says, “So that -sama has also.. on the way to Edo, had fallen rock bottom and there were no news [about him].”
Then, they were interrupted by two men who apologize for disrupting them but about the payment for yesterday. Umenosuke says that if the money isn’t enough, he’ll go to the teahouse later on. [From what I’ve read in the internet, teahouses are usually fronts in transact business regarding the brothel.] The two men say okay. Standing up and going to them, Umenosuke smiles and says, “Speaking of that, tell the landlord, that for today, I will take everything for private use again.” While Hana is puzzled, the other two women are surprised by this. One of the two men freaks out and exclaims if he will take the ‘whole package’ again today. Umenosuke smiles and says ya, for staying there makes him feel free of worries. While one of the men quickly leaves while calling the landlord, Umenosuke says that he is going to take a bath. He tells the other man to accompany him to where the nearest public bath is. The other man says yes. Akari nervously calls Umenosuke’s name. He apologizes for talking about such gloomy things and booking the whole place today will be his atonement for it. “Also, Akari.. Even if you pretend that you are alright.. but your health haven’t recovered yet, right? *Akari and Natsuki look surprised* It would be better for you to properly rest in the room..” After he left, dumbfound Natsuki mutters that for atonement, he is going to book the whole place. “What kind of person is he..? Doing this for two straight days.. How much money does he plan to throw away..?” Hana asks what this so-called ‘booking the whole place’ is. “Is it very amazing..?” Aghast, Natsuki says that is why she said that..and in what place, is she an ojousama. Natsuki explains that ‘booking the whole place’ is just like yesterday, wherein he bought all of the yujo there. There is a scene of Umenosuke surrounded by women. “Because it is too expensive, so the ones who can do that, are only cabinet ministers, and a part of rich businessmen. *looks at Akari* Eh-- from what holy place did that person come from? Even if he said that he is doing business at the capital, but only known as ‘Umenosuke’, is that an alias..” Puzzled Hana repeats, alias.. Akari tells her that means, the name used while looking for happy time in Yoshiwara. Hana sweatdrops upon learning that ‘Umenosuke’ isn’t his real name. Natsuki says that speaking of the capital, she heard some unpleasant news regarding a guest who went to the former landlord’s hometown store in the capital. It seems that it is a landlord who is distressed because of money, and he had been demanding the former landlord’s hometown store to pay up some money. “And if he comes, the store’s yujo-s will come out to welcome him –something like that. I remember that he is called Takadou-sama [高道]”.
At the entrance, Gonpachi and his men nervously welcome Takadou, a young good-looking man with long light-colored hair. Gonpachi tells him that he came from afar so quickly go inside. While Gonpachi is telling his men to quickly call of the people in the store out, Takadou sternly tells him that isn’t necessary since he hates yujo-s. Gonpachi and his assistant freeze over that comment. The assistant nervously whispers to Gonpachi as to what’s up with that guy. Gonpachi tells him to calm down, that person is Takadou, and at that age, he is already the boss of the previous landlord’s store in the capital. He says that it will be alright if they propose an idea to the one in charge. “And lately, in Yoshiwara, there is that impressive Umenosuke. I don’t know from where that upstart [newly rich] came from, and he is regularly patronizing our store. If Takadou-sama can bring out some money, then this peaceful deteriorated store will also be happy..” Takadou interrupts by saying up to when does he plan to make him stand there. Gonpachi apologizes and tells him that they go to that side. Watching them from the balcony, Natsuki comments that is quite intimidating. Akari looks surprised and mutters, “Takadou-sama..?” Hana is puzzled by Akari’s reaction. Akari quickly turns to Hana and tells her to follow her. She says that while everyone’s attention is towards Takadou, she can go out of this place. Natsuki protests for her not to be like that because if this will be discovered... Akari says but, Hana wasn’t bought into Yoshiwara, and if it is so, she would have a tegata [promissory note; kanji is literally written as ‘hand shape/print]. Clueless Hana points to her hand and asks, “Tegata?” Irritated Natsuki exclaims that is the handwritten seal [thumb impression on the promissory note?] in order to pass through the gate. “Even this important thing, you do not know? Then, how did you get into Yoshiwara!?” [<- most courtesans are in debt which is how the landlords control them from leaving. So if Hana doesn’t have that note, she ought to be able to get out of the gate.] Hana mutters, how she came in.. She thinks that she doesn’t even know that herself, and it is likely caused by the pendant. Akari tells Hana that if there is a place where she can go, it would be better to leave. To Akari’s surprise and Natsuki’s irritation, Hana tells them to go with her for they also ought to not want to stay in that kind of place. Akari laughs and tells her that cannot be, for they don’t have any place to go back to. “Whether it is to live or to grow old in, it will be in Yoshiwara. Even if we leave this place, there is also no place to go to.”
Sitting by the street, Hana sighs and thinks that even if it is a good thing that Akari and others helped her escape, but would it be really alright. “Even if Miss Akari said, ‘Please do not worry’, but what if the landlord finds out about this? *shakes head* No, no, I shouldn’t think of that again. This way, I can also freely look for my mother’s memento. *notices someone* And the problem right now is-- In the end, it is still this outfit.” Hana quickly tries to run away from a man who exclaims that he found her, and because that kind an outfit stands out, it is easy to find her. Hana wonders if it would have been better if she took the landlord’s offer to buy her some clothes. Flashback: Hana looking surprised at Gonpachi who is holding an abacus. He told her that the outfit costs 30 ryo [old japan coin], and if she doesn’t have any money, he can quickly give it to her if she works in that place. End flashback. While the man is shouting for her to wait, Hana looks dark and tells herself that is not right, she cannot trust that landlord. “But, what to do, this is the same as yesterday--” The man manages to grab her wrist and exclaims that he caught her. “I won’t let you get away again.” Hana looks aghast for the man stinks of alcohol. Hana shouts for him to stop, and get away, far from her. The man says that even if she says that she hates him, but slowly, she would come to like him. Hana is angry in disbelief over that remark. Then, Umenosuke puts his arm around Hana and says, almost, let go of her. The man is shock as he mutters that a dripping wet ‘good guy’ has appeared. A note says that Umenosuke had just taken a bath. Umenosuke tells the man that compared to him, he [the man] should know about shame and just quickly scram. The man curses and runs off. Afterwards, while the two are holding some wooden buckets and walking together, Umenosuke asks Hana if Akari and others were the one who helped her to escape. Hana says yes, though she is a bit worried about them. Hana becomes aghast when Umenosuke tells her that if it was exposed, those two will be beaten. Seeing her expression, he tells her, “Of course, that will happen. By the way, you said that your mother’s memento was dropped here, are you sure that it is in this district?” Hana says that she doesn’t know for she had already looked for it many times already. Holding his nape, Umenosuke says that this is really.. Hana apologizes to him for he has always been helping her. “And just now, I want to thank you..” Umenosuke sighs and says that it is nothing, for any good person would do that. “And you were looking for it as if your life depended on it. It ought to be because she is a good mother.” Umenosuke is puzzled by Hana’s startled reaction. Hana sheepishly tells him that actually, she doesn’t know about her mother. “When I was still a baby, I was abandoned. The grandpa who found me was the one who brought me up. At that time, I’m holding a decorative flower hairpin.”
Umenosuke comments that she would still highly regard something, from her mother who had abandoned her. Hana explains that it is because she remembers a bit about her mother, though it is probably a dream. It is a crying woman looking down and repeatedly saying ‘I’m sorry’. Hana says that the woman was saying that while crying. “And that sound, no matter what, I couldn’t forget it. So, grandpa, he, made mother’s memento into a pendant so that anytime I can bring it with me. If my mother is still alive, I would tell her that I can understand [her]. My name is also because of the flower ornament, so I’m called ‘Hana’ [= flower in Japanese]. It’s actually quite random.. *embarrassed* And afterwards, grandpa did properly think about that name again.” Umenosuke laughs and says, indeed. He then says that it is already getting dark so what are her plans. Hana seems puzzled so he asked her if there is any place where she can go. “From Yoshiwara, if there is a place that you can go to, then, it is also possible.. but once you step out of the gate, won’t it be difficult for you to come back and look for the ornament?” Hana thinks that this isn’t reassuring but because of the high walls, she totally cannot get to see outside of Yoshiwara. She looks at the gate and wonders if she gets out of Yoshiwara, will she be able to go back home. Turning to leave, Umenosuke tells her to wait while he goes to handle some formalities. Hana looks out the gate then falls on her knees for outside Yoshiwara, there are no buildings or cars, only an Edo period town. Umenosuke calls out her name since she looks stunned. Hana asks what is she to do, in the end, this is reality. Back at the store, Gonpachi is shouting to departing Takadou to wait and reconsider for even if it is the former landlord opened the store, but right now, he is already dead so he [Gonpachi] doesn’t have an obligation to give him money. Takadou just says that he’ll be leaving for now. Then, Umenosuke, together with Hana, comes in the store. Umenosuke looks at Takadou and apologizes [for almost hitting him]. While Takadou glances at Umenosuke, Gonpachi welcomes Umenosuke back then asks why Hana came from outside, and didn’t he tell her that she cannot just go out on her own will. Umenosuke tells him that strolling around isn’t bad at all. As Umenosuke and Hana left, Takadou calls out to Gonpachi and says that he changed his mind, so would he let him discuss it again in detail. Walking at the hallway of the store, Hana sighs for in the end, she came back. She wonders where the bathroom..no latrine is. “Even if I no longer need to worry whether Miss Akari and Natsuki will be flogged or not, but afterwards, what am I to do.. What if I still cannot find the pendant..? If it is always like this, wherein I cannot go back--..” Then, she passes by a room to hear someone asking if he still didn’t hear him, does he want him to repeat it again. Takadou says that there is only one condition from his side. “If you want money, then kill off that guy called Umenosuke.” Hana looks surprised by this.
I’m still unable to make out what the story will be about. It turns out that ‘buying the girls’ meant he is only going to pay for the night, not their freedom. ^^; It seems that Umenosuke is curious about that place’s history that it makes me wonder if he is a relative of the past owner or he is some sort of detective. It is really suspicious for him to ‘book the whole place’ again for another night just because he is a super nice guy. There should be some sort of motive for that. From Akari’s reaction, I think she knows Takadou personally but what is his connection with Umenosuke that he wants him dead. Probably from what Umenosuke is doing, he seems to be trouble for Takadou’s business. Well, it would be if Umenosuke is indeed the past owner’s relative. I’m quite surprised that Hana turns out to be abandoned. It makes me wonder of the possibility that her mother is actually from the past because that hairpin isn’t usually found in modern Japan and it is unlikely for someone to specially leave it to one’s baby. I mean, it could be some other thing. Maybe the pendant/hairpin reacts when the owner is in danger. Still, it isn’t explained yet if it is a one way trip or not, and does it vanish after being used once or a couple of times. I think this is a good chapter with a little bit about Hana, Umenosuke, and more info about the life in Yoshiwara. Since Hana overheard that conversation, I hope that it will be Hana’s turn soon to be the one who’ll help Umenosuke for he is always the one helping someone. Also, it is quite good that Hana didn’t fall for the trap of the owner to give her clothes in exchange of working there. Lastly, even if the author has been giving us nice scenes of Umenosuke ‘flirting’ with Hana, I think it would have been nice to see what it looked like for her to hug him tightly as if he is a pillow. =P Scans by 不良漢化.

Then, after archive, it will be Reimei no Arcana 32 if new chapters of Kyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu and/or The One isn’t out yet.

Thinking that this is why he hates calling at someone else’s house, aghast Yamaken asks Shizuku if her father is always this inquisitive which he uses as a way of greeting. Shizuku says that she isn’t sure, and perhaps it is rare [for him] because there are only a few people who call her. She asks why he called. He asks her if she had already done this year’s college entrance exams. He thinks that because of Shizuku’s father, he forgot what he should be telling her. He plans to first invite her to the library, and even if it infuriates him to tell her that, but he wants to see her. Shizuku says that she already has done the entrance exam. Shizuku perks up because she thinks the reason Yamaken called, is for them to exchange information regarding the college entrance exams. She tells Yamaken that she has a question and answer school exercise booklet. She says that it seems that it isn’t meaningless to exchange conversation with him later on. “So, if you want, you can come and get it. I’ll lend it to you.” After looking somewhat surprised, Yamaken is delighted that Shizuku took the initiative to invite him. Blushing a bit, Yamaken says that he’ll go and they’ll meet at 10am in.. The next day, Shizuku is carrying a plastic bag and a huge Napa cabbage. She says, “Ah, Yamaken-kun, so you’ve came.” Displeased Yamaken sweatdrops and he mutters that shouldn’t she be saying ‘I’ve finally arrive’ and it is already 12 noon. “What’s up with that stuff you’ve bought?” Shizuku says that he wasn’t there on the appointed time, and she already waited for him for five minutes. This irks Yamaken. Then, Shizuku sighs and says that she forgot to bring the booklet so it is very troublesome to go back and get it. Yamaken is furious that Shizuku just left after waiting for him for 5 minutes. He thinks, “Even if it is like this, I also left very early!! And I’ve waited for one full hour. Speaking of that, why won’t you buy a cellphone!! And you are totally glossing off your fault and having this ‘I’m wasting my time’ type of attitude..!!! Darn it, I don’t care about this Napa cabbage girl..! *stands up* I’m going home.” Shizuku says forget it, since she is carrying a lot of things, it would be better for her to go home first, before going to Haru’s house. This made Yamaken stop walking away. He turns around and asks, “House?” Shizuku says yes, because after the start of spring break, Haru didn’t get in touch with her. “It is only this morning that I’ve noticed it. I think he is probably sick with a cold. For the meantime, I’ll go and see his condition.” Thinking house, Yamaken imagines Haru putting his forehead on Shizuku’s [to check if he has a fever]. Holding up his hand to her, Yamaken says let’s go, and give him the things she is carrying. Surprised Shizuku protests that they should go home first. Yamaken insists that she give him the things she is carrying, for how can he just allow a girl to carry things by herself. “First, we are going to Haru’s, to solve your concern. Then, we are going to your house to get the booklet. Afterwards, I’m going home!! Quickly give those things to me!!”
Wondering why he is being impatient, puzzled Shizuku says okay, she’ll give him half of the things. Soon, Yamaken is holding the Napa cabbage. He asks how she is planning to eat that. Shizuku says hot pot and it will be good together with some pork. She also says that it is given by the wine store owner whom she is always indebted. At the game center, Micchan tells them that Haru went back home [/hometown]. Shizuku says oh. Gloomy Yamaken thinks that it turns out that Shizuku meant this place as ‘Haru’s house’. After commenting that it is rare to see the two as a pair, Micchan says that Haru went back at the start of the break. “Huh? Didn’t you hear about it, Shizuku-chan?” Shizuku says ya. Sitting at the sofa, Yamaken thinks that Shizuku’s wording is mixed up that he was worried for nothing. “Speaking of that, what the heck am I suppose to do today? That’s right, I’m going to try and take her so I accompanied her to Haru’s house.” Micchan asks Shizuku if it is something urgent and does she want him to call Haru at home. Shizuku says that there is no need. Yamaken looks at the two and wonders again what he is doing. Later on, while walking together, Yamaken says that Shizuku is displeased that Haru didn’t tell her anything. Shizuku is shock that she exclaims how he knew, is it magic. Yamaken asks how could, he not know. He tells her that someone who doesn’t know one’s own feeling will tend to conceal something a lot of times. “Not willing to face whatever the inner thoughts of one’s heart, makes one also unclear about it. (Huh.. whom am I talking about..)” Yamaken is surprised when Shizuku says yes, he is right. “It’s so simple but I didn’t notice it. If one would admit it, one would obviously be more relaxed.” Yamaken looks at Shizuku in surprise as she continues to walk forward. Yamaken is flustered a bit because if he can simply admit it, then things won’t be this hard. “Darn.. that’s right. Or, do I need to confirm something? I’m really an idiot. Whether it is specifically thinking of a reason to call her, or getting infuriated when it is about Haru, or like now, holding a Napa cabbage on one hand while walking on the streets, it definitely because I’m attracted to this girl, that is why I’m like this!!” Yamaken calls out to Shizuku and asks if she wants to walk around. Shizuku looks at him. Yamaken partly covers his face and thinks that he has suddenly blurted that out. Shizuku apologizes and says that she doesn’t have money and she only brought enough to buy those things. Yamaken offers to treat her and if a reason is needed, then, it will be as thanks for the exercise booklet. “This way, it’s okay, right.” Shizuku looks at him in surprise and says okay, she’s happy to accompany him.
At the fastfood restaurant, Shizuku orders Double Bacon Burger without pickles, and Juicy Chicken Burger plus one large French Fries. “Ah..can this coupon be used? And also, add barbecue sauce chicken nuggets and two hot apple pies.” While the cashier says that will be 2780 yen, Yamaken tells Shizuku that if there is a reason, she really goes all out a bit [= not shy]. She tells him that she’s hungry because she didn’t eat lunch, and it is because of him. She asks him if it is okay for him to just drink something. While Shizuku orders a vanilla milkshake and asks for an invoice, Yamaken thinks that this is okay but as he become vaguely aware, seeing her in this new light, he notices that she is quite plain, even if he looks at it with good intention. “In the end, the thought of taking her from the start has not yet changed until now. *carrying the food in a tray* but in conclusion, there are some things that are hard to accept. *drinking his milkshake* Wrong, the part that cannot be accepted will also become her. *Shizuku says ‘itadakimasu’* Acknowledge it then I can be more relaxed. *blushes while watching Shizuku eat* Forget it, I’ll wait until she becomes my girl then I’ll change her, it won’t be too late.” While licking her fingers, Shizuku asks him if he has some kind of selfish motives that is why he invited her to this place. Yamaken blushes and looks tense. He hangs his head down when Shizuku says that he wants to exchange information regarding college entrance exams. Sweatdropping, Yamaken asks if this is the reason why she said ‘I’m happy to accompany you’ and then, she went with him. Shizuku says of course, or could it be that, there is some other reason. While taking mouthfuls of food, Shizuku tells him that she wants him to know in advance * munch, munch* that her information is expensive because before from the time she’s in junior high, she has already been gathering information which are almost flawless. Yamaken gloomily thinks that is right, she is this kind of girl. Yamaken tells her to wait, who ever said that. Puzzled Shizuku asks, “? Then, Yamaken-kun, why did you SPECIALLY call Me up on the phone for?” Yamaken proudly says that of course, it is about the college entrance exam thing. Then, Yamaken gloomily facepalms. =P
Thinking that Yamaken is weird, Shizuku says so, in the end, it’s about that. Yamaken angrily tells himself to calm down and do not let himself be caught in her pace. He decides to talk about some romantic love topics. Slamming his drink on the table, Yamaken asks her what kind of type does she likes. Puzzled, Shizuku says *yum, munch* mathematics and history. Yamaken shouts at her not to talk about studies. “Are you trying to be funny!? Be careful else I’ll kill you!! (Darn it, I unexpectedly told a girl that ‘kill you’ word.) I’m saying the type you like in the opposite sex.” Shizuku is surprised by that and asks repeats his question. Yamaken says that she should have that, what kind of person she wants to go steady with and the kind of person she wants to marry, kind of type. Shizuku asks him if he is referring to what she likes in guys. Yamaken tells her not to mind that. [<- Yamaken trying to make it not obvious ^^;] Shizuku becomes nervous over what Yamaken wants her to say. She wonders if this has anything to do with college entrance exams and is it okay to just tell him the kind of type that she doesn’t want to marry => her father. She tells him that it would be someone who is financially capable, intelligent and comparably reasonable. Yamaken perks up and happily smiles because isn’t Shizuku talking about him. Blushing Shizuku tells him, “But, the type I like and the person I like in reality is still pretty much not the same.” Yamaken darkly tells her that he told her not to mind that. Drinking his milkshake again, Yamaken mentally curses for Shizuku only has a reaction if it is about Haru. “But forget it, that is anticipated. Compared to that, right now, I should use a connection method.” Yamaken asks Shizuku about buying a cellphone. Shizuku says that it isn’t necessary for her to get one. He calls her stupid, for what’s important isn’t calling but rather, using the internet. “The things that you want to know, you can quickly and conveniently research about it. *holds his Iphone to her* If you are like this, you’ll fall behind in the exam.” This surprises Shizuku. While holding the Iphone, Shizuku says that for him to say that. Yamaken nervously imagines baiting cavegirl Shizuku with his cellphone. “Bite! Bite! I don’t want to talk with that ojisan on the phone again!!” Blushing a bit, Shizuku says that with only this, when she wants to hear [his] voice, she can hear it anytime, right? Yamaken looks a bit sad and says yes.
Returning the phone to him, Shizuku starts to eat again and says forget it, if it is about the internet, she can just ask her younger brother to help her research. “And, thinking over the monthly expenses, it would enabled me to buy a reference book. Anyway, after class, I can see him everyday.” Looking away, Yamaken says, “..is that so. (No matter how hard I try, I cannot see you everyday.)” Then, Shizuku drops the Iphone on the table which causes the cup of drink to spill on Yamaken. Shizuku stands up and apologizes. Holding up his dripping wet sleeve, Yamaken tells her that it is fine, there’s no need for her to specially stand up and.. Shizuku is already walking towards him and prepares to wipe his legs with a handkerchief. Yamaken quickly backs away and freezes. Shizuku looks surprised by his reaction. Blushing red, Yamaken thinks it is really bad. Shizuku looks at him and thinks, “I remember.. this kind of reaction.” While Yamaken looks at the side and gulps, Shizuku calls out to him and says, “You.. No way..” A couple of chatty girls are passing by them. Nervous Shizuku says, “[You] have fallen for me..!!” Then, one of the passing by girls says that Yamaken is very handsome. Yamaken answers that is impossible for him, because he is a ‘young master’ [/big shot and rich type of guy]. Later on, at Shizuku’s house, she tells Yamaken at the gate to wait for her as she goes in and get the exercise booklet. Yamaken asks her if her parents will come out. She tells him that her father and brother went to watch a baseball game. Watching Shizuku go in, Yamaken thinks, “I deeply and thoroughly know already. The problem isn’t with Haru or even on Shizuku, it’s with me.” Flashback: Shizuku asked why she was mistaken about that. Yamaken told her to be careful so that there won’t be a next time. Shizuku replied, okay, there will absolutely, be no second time. End flashback. Yamaken gloomily thinks that from the time he was born, this is the first time he starts to hate himself. Then, Shizuku holds out to him the booklet but she is puzzled since he isn’t taking it. Yamaken mentally curses for it is already over. “Our [two of us] day..and no one came to interrupt. *takes the book with one hand while his other hand holds Shizuku’s hand* Today is the last chance--..” Shizuku looks surprised. Yamaken says, “I..” Then, from behind, Haru asks them why they are there. [Hehehe] While Yamaken is gloomy and angry, Shizuku looks surprised and calls out to Haru. Holding a bag of onsen [hot spring] steamed rolls, Haru darkly greets Shizuku and says that it has been a long time. While Yamaken is darkly silent, Shizuku says that wasn’t Haru supposed to be at his home and she’ll call him on the phone. Haru says that she knows about it. He tells her that he just came back but he left his cellphone at home. Holding the bag, he says that this is [her] souvenir, steam rolls. He then looks at Yamaken’s hand holding Shizuku’s hand. Trying to use his hand to ‘chop’ them apart, Haru tells Yamaken to let go off of her hand. Yamaken holds Shizuku’s hand up to evade Haru’s. Shizuku asks Yamaken how come when Haru comes, he is like that. Yamaken darkly says that she is asking why.. While the two guys are arguing, Shizuku is holding Haru’s gift. She thinks that Haru wants to come and he just comes, and why can’t he tell her first about it. “But, anyway, he’s already back, so forget about it.” Then, a courier arrives and says that he has something for her. He asks Shizuku to sign. Shizuku wonders from whom that package is.
While the guys are quarrelling and about to box each other, Shizuku is delighted that it is from her mother. The two stop fighting when Shizuku tells them that she is going in first. Then, Haru proceeds to go in the gate but Yamaken stops him. Yamaken asks him if he plans to go in when her father isn’t there. Haru angrily asks, huh, he’s going in to eat steamed buns so don’t stop him. Dragging Haru away, Yamaken calls him an idiot and he is going home with him. Haru tells him to let go, he doesn’t want to go home, he wants to.. Then, Shizuku suddenly goes out of the house and calls out to Haru. Holding a flip cellphone, she exclaims that her mother gave her a cellphone. The note says, “For Shizuku, my beloved daughter needs to have privacy so let mama use some money to help you pay for it. Use it without any hesitation. Furthermore, tell your father that if he still cannot find a good job this month, then be rude [/blunt] with him. Mama/haha-ue.” Haru says that it is amazing that it is pink. Shizuku wonders out loud how to know the number of the phone. While pointing it out to her, Yamaken thinks that she obviously said that she doesn’t need it but she looks very happy now. Holding the phone to Haru, Shizuku tells him to remember it. “..next time, if you are going somewhere, you can call me here on this phone. Don’t make me worry.” Haru smiles and says, “Ya, I remembered it.” To their surprised, angry Yamaken takes the phone and makes it ring. Returning the phone and grabbing Haru, Yamaken tells her that is his number and remember to save it. Shizuku just looks surprise as Yamaken drags Haru away. While being walked away, Haru says, “..hey, Yamaken. It turns out that you still like Shizuku. But forget it, whether it is or it isn’t, it doesn’t matter. The one whom Shizuku likes is me. I won’t give her to you.” Yamaken looks at him then pushes him away to walk by himself. While walking together, Yamaken says, “What of it. *smiles* People’s feelings can change.” Haru somewhat pouts and asks him where does that self-confidence comes from and could it be that he has some trade secret. Yamaken says, “I definitely have. (Yeah, right. Now it seems that I have to wait until the winner is determined. It turns out that this guy is an idiot. What could he be thinking?) Ah, by the way, from April on.. *Haru puzzled* No, just forget it.” Haru asks him what it is but Yamaken insists that it is nothing. At the game center, Micchan welcomes someone then says it has been a long time. “Huh? Where Haru went? Didn’t the two of you come back together?” A man fixes his necktie and says that on the way back, Haru went to see that miss of the Mizutani family. Micchan says is that so, then it is good. “It seems that she is very worried. Good job, Andou.” Blurb: “Andou-san is the Yoshida family’s driver. Next chapter, Haru’s situation. The start of a new school year!”
Hehe..this chapter is pretty funny. The author is pretty good to include in Yamaken’s inner thoughts for it makes it twice amusing because he kept on saying the wrong stuff to Shizuku, thus, he kept on missing his chances with her. And, when he finally has that chance, it seems fate is also against him because Haru is back. =P I think it is nice to know the thoughts of a character because it makes me understand them more and..at times, even like them. Hehe, I pretty much like the whole cast of this series because of that. ^^ I think it is interesting about ideal person and the person whom one actually falls in love. From this chapter, it made me realize that an ‘ideal person’ is what one thinks one likes = mentally. As compared to falling in love with someone who isn’t exactly one’s ‘ideal person’, is more on emotion which one has no control over. Hehe, in the case of Yamaken, it obviously makes one do something one doesn’t usually do. =P Haru isn’t Shizuku’s ideal man, and Shizuku isn’t Yamaken’s ideal girl but still there is some sort of attraction. As they say, it just clicks. If she becomes his girl, I’m not sure if Shizuku can be changed because Yamaken wants to. I think he has more problems changing himself..well, in an instant ^^; I guess Yamaken wants her to be more like his ideal..but if that happens, Shizuku might not be Shizuku anymore..what did he like about her in the first place? For Haru and Shizuku, they pretty much accepted each other as is, and the change for the better, that is happening in them, are caused naturally rather than what the other wanted. I think that is nice. ^^ Shizuku is really such a nerd to keep on studying and reviewing her notes. She is even studying for college entrance exams since junior high. Wow. I can understand her frustration with Haru’s ‘gift’ since he can easily attain what she wanted and worked on for a long time. As for Haru, it seems he had matured a bit whenever he sees Yamaken with Shizuku. Unlike during the ski trip, he doesn’t easily lose his temper. I think it is a huge thanks to Shizuku’s confession on Valentine’s day. It had pretty much assured him that she does like him. ^^ Scans by 離境漢化組

For this week, I plan to do more of Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun + Yoshiwara Hana Oboro 2. Tnk 27 will be out first because I’m almost finished with it. For the other regular series that are out, I’ll do it after I archive on October 3, because anyway, they have been updated this month. That is except for Barajou no Kiss..but the scanlator is currently missing in action. I’ll resume the other new series including Tou Lang Merry Rose after I finally updated TnK -> hopefully next month. Anyway, I’m not too sure if a lot of people read those new series because only 1-2 people tag about it.

Observing things, Kain is standing by some building. A woman takes a bottle of pills and thanks a man. Kain quickly takes the bottle which angers the woman. While the woman keeps on trying to get it back, Kain asks the man what’s inside the bottle. The man puts down another bottle and says that if it is okay, he can have it, too. The man quickly leaves and bumps into Hanabusa. He asks the man if there is some meeting there but the man says there is none. When he turns around, Hanabusa is surprised to see Kain who is using his power. Hanabusa kicks the bottle on the floor [that he didn’t notice] and goes to Kain to tell him that he cannot get in touch with him. Then, he notices that he is stepping on someone on the ground. Kain tells Hanabusa to bring that woman to the association because she is acting weird, as well as that, bottle of medicine. Hanabusa shouts for him to wait, where he is going. Kain says he is going back to Kaname-sama’s side. With that, Kain uses his fire to make his exit. In some room, Rima’s roommate[?] asks her if she knows about this blood pills [in a blister pack] that was recommended by her grandmother. Rima is suspicious that a new medicine is being pushed during these not too peaceful times. The girl says that it is developed by a pharmaceutical company under Sara. Rima asks if they can relax with that reason, and just put that thing into their mouths. When asked why, Rima said that it is because there isn’t much time spent on finding out the side effects. She complains that vampires had merge into human society’s politics and economy that they have to obey human rules but there is no punishment on humans who kill vampires, and they are pushing this unknown drug to them. Even if vampires are stronger and have a longer lifespan, except for glorifying nobility, there is nothing that protects them and restricts them. She thinks it would be better if the council of ancients can show more function and what deeply pains her is the chief of purebloods had already betrayed the vampires. Back to Kaname, his chest is slightly cut while Kaien’s left arm is wounded. He says that it is quite troublesome and he still wants Kaien to pass the message to Yuuki. Kaname asks Kaien to please do not hinder him. Kaien asks if he wants him to just keep his eyes open as he attacks Isaya’s house. Kaien tells him to quit joking around and he still hasn’t asked him about the reason. Just as Kaien attacks him, Kaname asks what reason, it is so simple that there’s no need to say it. Kaname jumps on top of the wall to evade the attack. Kaname tells him that he is just moving towards a different path but the goal is still the same. He reminds Kaien that since he is the association’s president, he should not be rejecting the way he does things. Kaien uses his sword to hit Kaname’s shoulder. After removing the sword, Kaien says that he doesn’t want purebloods to be annihilated like this. He is surprised when Kaname suddenly turned into bats. What’s left is injured Toma who curses that he was used to be given the last blow. Kaien thinks that Kaname is serious about annihilating the purebloods.
Soon, it will be morning. Kaito comments at how calm Yuuki is after hearing that. She tells him that it is useless to tell her to ‘persuade her father’ and if she is to complain about it, they will be scolded. Kaito tells her to do what she wants but Kaname is an expert in making pureblood disappear so their wish is becoming a reality. Yuuki thinks that the president will be sad to hear that. Kaito warns her not to interfere and she should just like before, just stand there and be good. He says that he doesn’t know Kaname’s goal or to what extent Kaname can swing around a hunter weapon but without a doubt, she will not be annihilated. It isn’t bad to leave behind a pureblood who is nice to people even if it is only one person. Yuuki comments that he can say such cruel things for making her live and pass the time of eternity all by herself. Zero says that pureblood are troublesome existence and he simply wants to forget. Kaito sighs and says that he is going to sleep, and it is Zero’s duty to bring her back [to the dorm]. After Kaito left, Yuuki tells Zero that she cannot promise anything but no matter what happens, she is going to stop Kaname but the important people in the association wants all of the purebloods to disappear. She asks Zero if it is also ‘all’ for him. She looks sad and then notices Zero’s shadow on the floor. She pulls his sleeve and tells them to go to the side since the school building can be seen. Behind a tree, Yuuki complains about the sun. Looking away, Zero says that if she is finished talking, he’s leaving. Yuuki apologizes and says she knows that a while ago, in front of the hunters who let out a killer intent for a moment, Zero protected her. She tells him that he obviously doesn’t think about wanting to kill ‘all’ of the pureblood because he is kind, compared to anyone, so the heart has not been destroyed. Zero points his gun on Yuuki’s head. Unfazed Yuuki tells him to pull the trigger if she is wrong about what she said, anyway, at some unknown time, she will be picked on by the association. They were interrupted when Sara arrives and says that is quite a dangerous game they are playing. Zero puts down his gun and Yuuki looks at him. Sara seems to have giggled that puzzled Yuuki asks what is it. Sara says that kind of attitude, she isn’t trusted by Yuuki, what she did to her. Yuuki blankly says nothing. Sara says that since it is like this, it would be a waste for her to tell some important secret. Yuuki asks, secret. Sara asks if Yuuki thinks that she would just tell it to someone who doesn’t trust her. She turns around to leave and tells the two to continue [what they are doing]. At the dorm, Takuma knocks on the door and calls out to Senri. Senri asks what is it. With a smile, waiter turn into salesman Takuma smiles and tells him that there is something he wants to give him. It is a blister packed pill.
I’m amused over a comment in baidu who wrote that in the association, Kaien is the ‘black sheep’ while among the vampires, Kaname is the ‘black sheep’. Given their respective positions, it does seem quite ironic that Kaien seems to be protecting ‘bad vampires’ while Kaname is the one killing the ‘bad vampires’. Since Kaien is doing the attacking, I wonder if the wound inflicted on him is a defensive move by Kaname. I think for Kaname to be able to do this ‘switcheroo’, he is really a dangerous enemy. Wait..is it possible that Kaname also did this with Aidou papa..ah..can Kaname use someone else or it has to someone else pretending to be him? Hm..I wonder if Kaien will tell the others that he was the one who cut/killed Toma..though it is unintentionally ^^; Well, this slightly confirms that Kaname can be a bit suicidal if it is for Yuuki’s sake. It does make me wonder if Kaname will do it in the end, after all the purebloods are killed..that is, to turn Yuuki back into a human and probably erase her memories. Well, I better prepare myself for that possibility. Given Kaname’s threat, I guess he might actually stop if it is Yuuki who told him to stop for it seems he really wants her to forget about/give up on believing in him. Well, I guess father and daughter are the same about not wanting people to be killed especially if they were presumed to be not doing anything wrong. Hanabusa is quite funny about trying to find Kaname using his feeling..even after what happened, he still highly regards Kaname. I should say that Kaname and Kain’s exit are pretty cool ^^ Anyway, it is obvious that there is something between Yuuki and Zero..and Zero doesn’t seem to be true to his feelings..as always. Sara is obviously up to something about those drugs being spread around. It makes me wonder if Takuma is giving Senri some evidence or he is pushing those drugs. ^^; Scans by 玖玖爱枢♀汉化. After being frozen by what Misaki said, Shirokawa asks if she means for them to wait until after work and.. Misaki smiles and tells them that is a secret. The trio blush and start muttering about maid-sama’s secret. They decide to protect her secret. Maki comments that Misaki has become quite good in dealing with customers. Since he and others learn a lot, they prepare to leave. As he pays his bill, Maki praises Misaki over her work ethic. Misaki is surprised when he tells her that he hopes that emotions won’t interfere and she keeps on continuing this work here peacefully. Misaki asks what he meant by that but he tells her that it meant exactly what he said. After going out of the store, Maki talks to himself that it was a warning and [he shouldn’t?] not to talk too much in revealing what he truly thinks. At Miyabigaoka, there are three new characters. One asks when the new transfer student is coming. Another[?/or that same one] says that he wants to see what a tragic lead looks like. A girl with a teddy bear says that things will be interesting. Tora tells them, including some others, not to be impatient, they are to properly greet and get along with Usui. Soon, winter is over. Yukimura asks Misaki if she is going to do some work after graduation but she says no, someone is going to fetch that guy. Looking out the window, she tells him that today, Usui is going to transfer school. Misaki doesn’t want Usui to just go away without telling everyone. So, when he is about to go ride the car that is waiting for him, Usui sweatdrops over Misaki and everyone looking out from school [to send him off]. He asks what they are doing. Misaki angrily shouts if he plans to quietly leave like that. While everyone is asking in disbelief if he is transferring and please don’t go, Misaki tells him to properly bid everyone goodbye before going. Blushing, Usui laughs and says it reminds him of some chivalrous youth movie. Misaki angrily asks what’s funny. Usui apologizes and says that he couldn’t do a crying and sniffing type of goodbye but there is one thing in his mind that he wants to say now. He approaches Misaki. To everyone’s shock, Usui kisses her in the lips and says, “Because Ayuzawa is mine.” This made Misaki blush really red. Usui tells her not to fool around while he is away. Hinata shouts, ‘don’t bet on it’. Soon, the two ‘doggies’ are daring each other over who won between them but Usui says that he always won since the start. Then, they are comparing notes how cute Misaki is. ^^; Misaki is so embarrassed that she shouts for pervert alien to quickly leave. The others are talking about it seems that Misaki is popular and she’s amazing though it seems that it is only those two [who has fallen for her?]. So, it is such a noisy farewell and a new spring is coming. Meanwhile, at Maid Latte, the trio is happily thinking over a maid’s secret then one of them asks what the secret is. They go into shock again for it is about Misaki with Usui. ^^;
Well, Usui has finally left and it seems that things will be quite troublesome in the future. Misaki would be lonely and everything but it isn’t reassuring what’s waiting for Usui in Miyabigaoka. ^^; They seem to be still intent on getting Misaki out of the way. There seems to be too much pages on the trio’s reaction on Misaki’s relationship with Usui but the farewell scene is nice. Rivals will be rivals..and hehe, nice public display of affection. =P I’m still curious how the author will handle the story from here on because there will be two settings. From Lucy, I learned that the Chinese scans of KwMS! 64 are already out here. Wow, this group is fast. If you want to read it in Japanese, it is also out in yuukuzuri’s blog + more details. It is Usui’s last day in school and how come there aren’t many scenes between the two except the ones in front and at the end of the chapter. ^^;; While I read it thoroughly and do a short summary, here is a teaser picture, before Usui leaves the school. The next day, Anna is surprised to see a huge banner hanging down at their school building. The banner is a ‘congratulations’ to the school for its winning entry into the finals of the Photo Koshien. Then, at the auditorium, the principal calls out to First year section 1’s Aso Ayane, and First year section 5’s Koshiro Anna and Saeki Nanoka, to go onstage. While the three girls timidly stand in front of all the students, the principal shouts that this is a ‘congratulations’ since it is the first time their school got into Photo Koshisen [finals]. Holding up his fist, he shouts, “Everyone in school, let us give them a supporting response as we anticipate an even more outstanding performance!!” The whole place echoes with the students simultaneous shout of ‘Yo-☆’. Anna tensely thinks that they even shout ‘yo’ that it makes her think that they did something really amazing. At the faculty room, Chiaki asks what is it, is it only now that they realize how ‘heavy’ this is. Aghast Anna asks if it is really okay for them to compete since they are totally novices. Chiaki asks what she is talking about, there isn’t time for them to get cold feet because they will be so busy before the competition begins, but first, she’ll give them something. Anna asks her what this white t-shirt with a small logo in front, is for. Chiaki tells them that this t-shirt is given to schools that have pass through the preliminaries. “Everyone will wear this t-shirt at the competition. Each school can freely decorate it. Using this t-shirt, you can write words on it or perhaps dye it. It’s no problem. Since this is a team-type thing, compared to just wearing it, how about you guys re-design it together!” While Nanoka tells Aya that is a good idea, Anna asks if they can really change it on their own. Sweatdropping Chiaki says yes, but the principal already put something on it so it might be limited on how they can re-design it. “At the back, look at the back.” At the back of the t-shirt, there is a huge kanji ‘喝’ [which means ‘shout’/katsu is a type of shout that is used in Chán and Zen Buddhism to give expression to one's own enlightened state (Japanese: satori) and/or to induce another person to move beyond rationality and logic and, potentially, achieve an initial enlightenment experience. Source: wiki]. While walking at the hallway, the girls look at the t-shirt. Aya asks if that is written by the principal. Anna comments that their principal is very enthusiastic and he was quite amazing in that morning assembly. Nanoka sighs and says that if they are going to re-design it, she would want to make it look cuter.
To Anna and Nanoka’s surprise, Aya says that she still would like to change it. Anna tensely says that even if she said that, it is something designed by the principal [so how can they change it]. Pointing to the t-shirt, Aya says that they can still write something else at the side of what’s written in the middle. Aya suggests that the club members writing some encouraging words which was also an example mentioned by the teacher. Brightening up, Anna says that is a good idea. Aya says that since their members are too few, they can get their classmates to write on it and the result won’t be that bad. While Nanoka hugs Aya for her great idea, Anna becomes nervous about getting classmates to write on it. In class, some girls are shouts if it is the Photo Koshien, the one mentioned in today’s morning assembly. Another girl asks if it is the one shown on the television, wherein the competition will be held in Hokkaido. While someone is mentioning that ‘katsu’ is quite amazing, Nanoka tells everyone to write some supporting words on the three t-shirts pinned on the blackboard. Anna timidly tells them that they hope that everyone would give them a part of their strength.. Some students gamely say that they will write something. While they are writing on it, Anna is nervously looking around. Then, the door opens. Sou and his friend come in the room. Sou’s friend asks what the ruckus is all about. Anna looks tensely surprise at Sou. While Sou also looks at her, Sou’s fangirl tells them about writing some supporting words on the t-shirts. To the envy of two other fangirls, a fangirl holds out a marker pen to Sou and tells him to use it to write. Sou bluntly tells the girl that there’s no need. While the fangirl is aghast by the rejection, Sou tells Tokiwa [his friend] to write. Tokiwa whistles and says that he’ll be the one to write in place of Sou. While a friend comforts the rejected fangirl, Anna wonders if that girl is alright. She thinks that Sou refused because she is part of the photography club. Scowling, she looks away and thinks that it is fine with her if he doesn’t write. Pause. “It doesn’t matter..” Then, Anna ends up being depressed. Nanoka goes to Hinata and tells him that it is okay if he wants to go write something on the t-shirt. Hinata angrily asks why she is saying it like she’s ordering him. That night, Sou with glasses, stops studying and looks at the messages on his cellphone. On June 20, 2011 at 13:02, Hinata wrote to him that he passed the preliminaries- and he doesn’t know if Anna also did. *beep* [<- not sure if it is the sound of reading a different message or deleting the message.] Hinata wrote again that he was planning to write a message to Anna but she already called. “Anna and the others had also passed the preliminaries.” Sou looks serious. *beep* “Sou, what you are saying is the same with Anna. (´_`) This isn’t a simple competition=3 How about you, Sou, are you also going to Hokkaido?” Then, Sou drops his [closed flip] cellphone on the floor. Then, he looks thoughtful.
In her room, Anna wears the t-shirt and tries to look at it’s back where a ‘sun-like’ words of encouragement in written around the middle of the word ‘katsu’. She happily says that it looks good. While spacing out, she felt really happy for everyone from the classroom wrote on it. “Ah..except for one person who didn’t. *sigh; looks sad* Forget it, if I put all my effort on the shortest route..” [<- to attain her goals?] Then, someone says, “You are wearing at home, the t-shirt that will be used for the contest. What am I to do about that? Hm..” Anna is surprised for it is Sou. Holding a marker pen, Sou is leaning by her door. After removing the pen’s cap, Sou points the marker to write. He says that he’ll just do whatever he can. “Lend me your back for a while.” Aghast Anna shouts that this is too strange. “You are just going into someone’s room at will and isn’t this a normal conversation!!” Sou tells her to consider it that they are both only, talking to themselves. Anna says that is too forced. Sou tells her not to move and also her hair is quite a hindrance. After gathering her hair and putting it in front of her, Anna says that she didn’t think he would give her supporting words but then, why is he so arrogant. Twirling the marker, Sou tells her to relax, he isn’t giving her supporting words. Angry and aghast, Anna asks to whom is he giving it. Then, Sou holds her shoulder and starts to write on her back. Looking semi-sad [/probably nostalgic], Anna says that his hand is quite warm. Sou asks if it is so, it’s very normal. Anna wonders if being like this is something normal. Later on, Sou says that he’s finished writing. Trying to look at it, Anna asks what he wrote, she wants to see. Sou sighs and says that even if she doesn’t see it, it is okay. “Ah, but let Hinata see it because it is supporting words for Hinata.” Anna is fuming mad. “Hey!! Forget it if you don’t want to give me supporting words. But, you better remember that agreement!” Sou asks, “Agreement?” Looking energetic, Anna shouts, “Didn’t you say that if I make Hinata believe in you, then there’s no need for this ‘maintain distance from each other’!! I’m definitely going to convince [/talk over] with Hinata, so you just properly wait for it!” Then, the door opens and Anna’s mother comes in. After greeting Sou, she says that he came by, and it has been such a long time. Sou says that he’s interrupting. [<- being polite] Anna’s mother says that he still quite thin, has he been eating well. Anna tearfully shouts at her mother that right now, they are talking about something important. Anna’s mother pouts and leaves, muttering that it is only for a while.
Anna asks Sou if he has been listening. Sou asks what she is talking about. Surprised, Anna exclaims that she is talking about that agreement. Sou says, ah, yes. “That’s right, I heard it. *getting ready to leave the room* It’s okay [for me] to nicely wait, while waving my tail. *sighs*” As Sou leaves her house, Anna imagines doggie Sou waving his tail while waiting. Then, she remembers to look at what Sou had written. She takes off the t-shirt and reads it. After glaring at it, she sweatdrops and thinks, “?, What is this..” Narration: “Preparation is already done. *plane flying* Let’s go! Leaving for Photo Koshien!!” Then, at some lodging area, Anna shouts, “We- Are- Here--~~ Hokkaido--!!!” Nanako screams, “Higashikawa--” While the two are shouting ‘Oh ya-!!’, sweatdropping Aya looks at the two and says that they are really in a high mood. Sweatdropping Chiaki calls out to the two that they are leaving them, and didn’t they already do that at the airport. While walking, Chiaki says that they are now going to the villa that has been designated as the competition’s living quarters. Aya asks if she is going to stay with them. Chiaki says yes, and because eight people can stay at that villa, so some people from another school will use it. While someone is saying ‘ah, other people, huh’, Anna spots a familiar figure standing in front of her, together with [what seems to be] two girls. Anna’s eyes widen. She shouts, “Hinata!?” While Nanoka peeks from Anna’s side to look at Hinata, Anna cannot believe that it is really Hinata. Hinata seems surprised to see her. Just when Anna is saying that no way, could it be that we are in the same villa.., someone says, “Koshiro-chan?” Peeking out from Hinata’s back, Mari exclaims, “So it is!! Why is Koshiro-chan here?” Anna looks aghast. While the two teachers introduce themselves, Anna backs away and thinks, “Already appeared-- That's right.. in Hinata’s high school, this person exists.” Hinata quietly looks sideways at Mari. With a smile, Mari says that Anna is also in a photo club, it’s rare for them to see each other and regretfully, they are enemies here. “But, it’s a competition so everyone should be fair and square in doing our utmost best to win the first prize ♥ Right, Tokura-kun.” Somewhat tense and glum, Hinata just looks at her. Then, Anna remembers Mashiro telling her that to know Hinata’s feelings, she has to defeat Mari-sensei. Looking determined, Anna shouts to smiling Mari, “That is what I also hope for!!”
Yay..they really got in the competition. The author is just teasing us in the last cliffhanger. ^^; To see how Anna and Nanoka getting excited, I also feel excited..yes, this is it..face off with Mari, know more what’s up with Hinata and finally, friends with Sou again..soon. Everything is on the line here for Anna so with Mashiro’s advice, she should stop cowering down from Mari and fight. ^^ Even if she and the others do not win this competition, I sure hope she ‘gets her friends’ back. ^_^ I think this is a four day competition, and I am kind of hoping that Sou would also go there since it seems such a long time since the three were together. But, I guess he really does seem to have some issues with Hinata. Oh well, maybe Hinata will go back home during the rest of the summer vacation. Aside from what is going on with Hinata and Mari, I’m also curious what’s going on between Hinata and Sou because they are always communicating yet it seems that there is something wrong..something about Hinata not trusting Sou. Also, what did Sou write on Anna’s t-shirt? Hehe..a love note? Joke. =P I wonder if it is part of Sou’s pride of not wanting to write some encouraging words that he just claim it is for Hinata..and well, at least, he did write something on her shirt. =P Like before, Hinata is acting really odd with Mari. With Mari always smiling like that, I’m beginning to wonder if she is really like that or it is a fake smile. ^^; The way she always greets Anna seems oddly fake. I had a funny idea. Hinata’s teammates seem to be both girls from that scene. If I am right, then, this means, in one villa, there are 7 girls and 1 guy. And, if there are only 4 rooms there, who will sleep with Hinata? =P Fufufu..will that be the first battle between Anna and Mari? Hehe, maybe the other girls just squeeze together and let Hinata have his own room. =P This chapter made me think that Aya is not such a bad girl..problems will be solved if Sou just falls for her. I mean if Sou doesn’t end up with Anna, he still has Aya and Beni..if Hinata doesn’t..he has..ah..hehe..Mari or Coco. =P I wonder what the real reason why Sou turned down that girl who is lending him that pen. Is it really because of Anna being in the club? Or, it is because Sou doesn’t want any other girls falling for him or acting like that with him, in front of Anna? Maybe, it is both. On a side note, Sou looks quite mature with glasses..I’m still hoping that the author would at least draw the two group of childhood friends as to what they would look like when they are adults..I would love to see that. ^^ Anyway, since Nanoka is there and Anna is in a fighting mood, I think Anna will have more success in dealing with Hinata and Mari, unlike before. Last summer has been disastrous so hopefully, this time around, Anna can get Hinata back from Mari..if not as a ‘crush’, at least, as a friend ^^ For right now, their relationship is a bit strained. I find this scene in chapter 60 to be really nice. I did entertain thoughts for Ayane to end up with Kent and it seems that it might happen. ^^ In this scene, Ayane is waiting for the train. Then, she is surprised to see Kent standing at the other side. He waves at her and she is speechlessly. His train passes by and he is gone. Ayane somewhat sighs. Then, to her surprise, Kent is standing behind her. She is shouting no way, don’t come near her, etc. Kent just laughs and says that she is so mean. Then, he says that he is right for coming, but it is still the same old Ayane so it’s great. Ayane sweatdrops, and looks surprised. Kent then tells her that she has been avoiding him. After a pause, Ayane admits it because Kent has always been looking at her. She tells him that she isn’t usually a crybaby so at that time, she isn’t that sad. She is surprised that Kent is looking at her. He smiles and says ya.
He gives her some warm drink. She thanks him and he says, there’s no need for that. Ayane realizes why those girls become part of Kent’s group [fangirls whom Kent helps regarding their love lives] and right now, she understands their feelings. She thinks that Kent isn’t a bad guy and he is very kind. Then, Kent asks her does she know why he always looks at her. Ayane looks at him and sees him tenderly smiling at her. Ayane’s train arrives and Ayane quickly goes in. She turns back to look at Kent who is still smiling at her. He smiles bigger and waves her goodbye. Aww... hopefully, things will go smoothly for this couple. ^^
Edit:Ah, about this chapter, the part above is my favorite part. The rest of the scenes are quite frustrating. There is a slight trouble between Sawako and Shouta = drifted apart a bit. Then, Chizuru seems to have been badly shaken by Ryu’s confession that she doesn’t know how to interact with him naturally. She thinks that their ‘relationship has ended’..because, it is no longer the same like before, which is what she wanted. On Ryu’s part, he considers Chizuru’s answer as a rejection. It seems like a deja vu of Shouta’s first confession to Sawako.

Soichiroh tries to protest but Eisuke stops him and tells the man that Soichiroh isn’t used to how things work there. After the man scoffed at him and left, Soichiroh asks Eisuke why he stopped him for it isn’t fair to have this much commission. Irked Eisuke shouts at him that this is reality for even if the money isn’t much, it can feed the children. Soichiroh is frustrated but finally relents. Eisuke comforts him and they walk home. From the corner of the building, Nozomu is watching them. At some posh restaurant, Nozomu treats Sumi with some high grade steak and delectable dessert. Nozomu tells her that it is nice to occasionally eat out during lunch. As Sumi lamely says yes, Nozomu looks at her while drinking his champagne. Then, while riding the rickshaw, Sumi finds herself at the pier. She asks Nozomu about this. He tells her that it is a nice day so they should go on a different route home. Then, Sumi sees Soichiroh carrying a huge bucket-shape container along with three other men. While covering her hand [probably that huge heart ring], flustered Sumi thinks that it is.. Nozomu calls out that if it isn’t Soichiroh. Sweating Soichiroh looks at the couple then he looks away. Nozomu comments that this is something new, to see Soichiroh sweating it out at work. Soichiroh tells him that if he has no business then why don’t, he just leave since he’s a hindrance. Nozomu glares at him and asks who does he think, he’s talking to. To Sumi and Soichiroh’s surprise, Nozomu says that he already bought this shipping company so Soichiroh better be careful about what he says. Then the man in charge arrives and asks what Soichiroh is doing. The man recognizes Nozomu. After addressing him, the man asks Nozomu if Soichiroh did something rude to him. Nozomu says that it is nothing. The man suddenly hits Soichiroh’s back with his elbow and shouts at him that Nozomu is a very important chairman of Ijuin Financial Group. Sumi screams for him to stop. The man tensely apologizes and asks her to forgive him. With a smile, Nozomu says that they are going. After they left, Sumi looks really flustered. Nozomu says that he didn’t imagine that Soichiroh will do that kind of work, and Sumi’s choice is correct. Trembling Sumi is already bowing down and restraining her tears that are already falling down. That night, Sumi couldn’t sleep upon seeing Soichiroh having a hard time working.
The next day, Nozomu sees Sumi making onigiri at the kitchen. Wearing the heart ring he gave her, Sumi greets him with a smile. Nozomu looks surprised and asks what that is. Sumi tells him that if it is okay with him, he can taste some of it. Blushing Nozomu takes one of the onigiri and happily says that now, at any time, he can eat Sumi’s homemade onigiri. [Hehe, no need to keep it until it rots =P] Sumi just smiles. After Nozomu left for work and [probably] Komai told him to be careful on his way, Sumi tells Komai that she wants to go to some place. Komai looks surprised for Sumi is wearing her ring from Soichiroh. Komai says okay. It is around lunch time when Eisuke asks if he isn’t going to eat lunch. Carrying some cargo, Soichiroh tells him that he’ll go later on. Eisuke says that he’ll go ahead. After a while, Soichiroh looks at the side to see a lady approaching him. It is Sumi who is holding a wrapped bento box. Sumi smiles and says that he found work. Soichiroh quickly turns around and walks away. Sumi walks after him and tells him to wait. She exclaims that what she said before [about a poor guy like him is useless to her] wasn’t her real intention. Sumi runs and overtakes Soichiroh. Holding the bento box to him, Sumi tells him that it’s lunch food, and it is just like before, some plain onigiri. Soichiroh notices that she is wearing his ring that he mentions it. Sumi says ya. After lovingly looking at it, Sumi says, “I’ve asked Nozomu-kun.. Until he divorces with Madame Miu, he will temporarily not touch me.. So, I’m.. still the same as before. The person I like is only you, Soichiroh-kun..” Soichiroh bites his lip then suddenly hugs her and gives her a kiss. This surprises Sumi. After breaking the kiss, Soichiroh tells her, “It should be..”, then he kisses her again.
I guess if push becomes shove, Sumi can really think of interesting ways to get what she wants..or rather, temporarily resolve an issue. It is really clever of her to convince Miu not to divorce Nozomu because that will ensure that Nozomu will not do anything to her. Hm..apparently, even after everything, Miu still likes Nozomu. ^^; Next, Sumi doesn’t rock the boat with Nozomu and make it appear that she likes being with him. Then, she quickly patches things up with Soichiroh. It is like two-timing but since we have a mentally unstable guy, it would be better Sumi to tread carefully. Who knows what scary and frightful things Nozomu might think of when he learns what Sumi is doing. For now, Nozomu is just into rubbing salt on an injury, the way he gloats at Soichiroh in front of Sumi. I still think that Sumi missed an opportunity to ask Nozomu to take care of the kids, too. If she did, it will lessen Soichiroh’s burden. As for Soichiroh, maybe this experience will make him think of his workers more if ever he gets to work himself up a company or owns another one. Laborers usually cannot complain over being cheated of wages, especially during the old times. If he learns to treat his workers better, maybe they wouldn’t easily abandon him. After class, Tsubaki stands up and offers to go with Kyouta to some other place because she wants to compensate him for what happened. She is interrupted when Nishiki calls out to Kyouta as his comrade and he had always been waiting for his recovery. Another guy asks if his right arm is already okay, too. While stopping Nishiki from hugging him, Kyouta says that his arm is okay thought he is having difficulty in moving his foot. A girl says that it must be tiring. Someone asks what he’ll do in today’s ball competition. Kyouta says that he will be responsible for the penalties [referee?]. Someone asks what about him having to repeat the school year. Kyouta tells them that while he was absent, he studied a lot and did a lot of reports. Someone says that he shouldn’t be absent again. Tsubaki clenches her fist because those are the questions that she would want to be asking Kyouta but unexpectedly, it became this kind of inquisition. Nishiki happily says that they will celebrate this whole week over Kyouta’s recovery. To Nishiki’s shock, Kyouta refuses because he has to work to pay the hospital expenses but, they can go out today. This made Tsubaki realize that he meant that after school, he totally doesn’t have plans to date with her. While the guys and some girls are rejoicing and wondering where they will go, Tsubaki calls out to Kyouta and tells him that even if it is just for a moment, she wants to tell him something. Kyouta looks at her and remembers seeing her with Hiro. To Tsubaki’s dismay, Kyouta looks away and snubs her. Flustered Tsubaki just stands at the side as Kyouta continues to talk with his friends regarding their plans. Then, Kyouta looks a bit flustered. So, Tsubaki went by her lonesome to the planetarium. She overhears the saleslady mentioning about the polar bear statue. She quickly looks at the polar bear statue [that Kyouta wanted to buy for her], and thinks that it is so cute. She notices a poster of ‘Northernmost Memories’ regarding a North Pole film. So, she happily watches cuddly polar bears. Then, she starts to cry that Kyouta chose this movie to watch even if he is obviously bored with it. There is a scene of Kyouta sleeping through the movie. Covering her eyes and starts crying, she thinks that she was mistaken over what she should prioritize yesterday but then, if she didn’t go to that lecture, she will also definitely regret it.
After the movie, Tsubaki wipes her tears and thinks that she doesn’t know which side is right. While walking out of the theater, Tsubaki remembers Hiro telling her that there will be many choices like this later on. Tsubaki thinks that she doesn’t have the capability of balancing both sides, so simply, there will be more [times] when she cannot return to Kyouta’s side. As she heads out, she sees a poster on watching shooting stars at a certain place. Tsubaki gets excited over it because it is at a nearby place and ordinary people can go there. She quickly takes out her notebook to write the details. She wonders if Kyouta knows about it. Then, she stops writing and thinks for a while. Cheering up, Tsubaki takes a brochure and thinks that possibly, later on, there will be wrong choices. And, possibly, one day, she can no longer continue to walk together with Kyouta but those kinds of things, she’ll just wait for it to happen, before thinking [what to do] about it. “Right now, from my heart, there is only one thing that I wanted to convey to Tsubaki-kun.” Kyouta sees a brochure and a note from Tsubaki in his shoe locker. Tsubaki wrote that she learned about this shooting star viewing so can he come with her. It is okay for him to come late because he has work and whatever that needs to be brought, just leave it up to her, because she will research well about this. Then, at some open field, Tsubaki is carrying a lot of things. Looking at her notes, she thinks that the gathering will be done here tomorrow. She is amazed that shooting stars can be seen in that place without having to climb up a mountain. Determined, she thinks that this is her first star viewing so in order for Kyouta not to be unsatisfied, it is necessary for her to do proper research. She goes off to verify the place. Soon, Tsubaki has spread out a blanket on the grassy field. There are even two blankets, probably as pillows, the props, as well as the things for notes, and her schedule. Tsubaki writes on her notebook that it turns out to take longer to prepare than she anticipated so tomorrow, she should go there early by 30 minutes. She happily takes out her cellphone and says that everything will be perfect if Kyouta can come tomorrow. She then becomes depressed for there is no message from Kyouta on her cellphone.
She thinks, maybe not because it has already been a week and there is no reaction from Kyouta. There is a scene of Kyouta looking away from Tsubaki as they play volleyball. She remembers Hiro telling her that it seems Kyouta is the type who thinks that it is okay even if she doesn’t want to reconcile. Tsubaki tensely closes her cellphone. Throwing away the cellphone, she laughs and says that there is still plenty of time. Taking out a portable ‘easy’ planisphere, Tsubaki tells herself that first, she should learn how to use this. While trying to use the planisphere with difficulty, Tsubaki tries to convince herself that it isn’t so [what Hiro thought] and everything will be alright, because Kyouta chose that film to watch. She keeps on twisting and turning the planisphere that she ends up crumpling it. After looking at it in aghast, Tsubaki puts the planisphere on her face and starts to cry. She is surprised when Kyouta takes the planisphere from her and calls her an idiot. He smiles and tells her to relax, he’ll help her see them right now. He takes the compass to learn where the north is. Then, from the direction, he adjusts the planisphere. Pointing up to the sky, Kyouta says that this will make it easy to find it, the Big Dipper. Kyouta is telling her that afterwards, she can find the other star constellations. Tsubaki interrupts and asks why [he is there] for wasn’t the viewing tomorrow. While holding up the planisphere, Kyouta says that is right, but she wrote on the note about doing some research, so he thought that if she is going to investigate the place, she will do it today. “Then, afterwards, I’ve really found you here. The things that you’ve brought far exceed my expectation. Haha. *looks at notes* And, what’s with this schedule. Didn’t I tell you before not to write this kind of thing again? *smiles* Tsubaki, you totally haven’t changed.” Tsubaki suddenly holds Kyouta’s hand with both of her hands. With a flustered expression, she says, “I..like you.”
Things seems to be just like what usually happens. Kyouta initiates some sort of break up between them and Tsubaki takes the initiative to make things okay between them. When Tsubaki is on the verge of a meltdown, Kyouta arrives or relents, and everything is okay again. So much for wishful thinking, that Kyouta is going to woo/do something more for her this time around, instead of it always Tsubaki doing something for him...a bit too much, in my opinion. After all that has happened and what Tsubaki did/gave for Kyouta, it does seem anticlimactic for her to confess her love for him. I think we all know that already. Most of her happiness revolves around him. Oh well, maybe Kyouta or Tsubaki thinks that he need some assurance that she still loves him just because she chose that lecture over him. Well, Tsubaki doesn’t really know why Kyouta is having that tantrum but in her mind, she thinks that Kyouta lied about it being okay for she go to that lecture. If she just thinks of it properly, just from that, it contradicts what Hiro said that Kyouta doesn’t mind if she didn’t go on that date for them to reconcile. I’m not too okay with Tsubaki ‘punishing herself’ and ‘being punished’ for what seems to be a mistake of choosing something for herself, instead of for Kyouta..as if it is something that will ruin her life. Knowing Tsubaki, she probably cried while trying to be strong, and hoping things will be okay, throughout that week when Kyouta is snubbing her. I’m still contemplating if what Kyouta did is the same with Tsubaki, when he chose to go out with his friends which includes girls, on the first day he is free instead of with Tsubaki. It is infuriating at how the others especially Nishiki go gaga on Kyouta’s return and totally bypassing Tsubaki who is obviously trying to talk with Kyouta. Oh well, Tsubaki is just not too assertive enough. It is also infuriating that Tsubaki has to deal with one week of snubbing by herself..hey, where’s Miho when Tsubaki needs her. This is something that Tsubaki doesn’t need to tell her because Miho should have eyes to see what Kyouta is doing. Anyway, that’s all in the past again and this is just one of those love quarrels, so I guess they ought to reconcile in the next chapter. Kyouta would probably tell her that he saw her with Hiro and he got jealous so he has been making things difficult for her. Tsubaki would probably say, no, it’s alright, it is my fault..I won’t go around with some other guys anymore, I will always choose you next time. =P It seems unfair that it is okay for him to be around girls and Tsubaki just bear with it because it comes with the package, but for her, it is a no-no. And, he also thought she has changed but apparently, she didn’t because she still does all sorts of things to make it up for him. From Tsubaki’s personality, I won’t be surprised if she quits working at the parlor and sever her relationship with Hiro just to please Kyouta. Well, it is more or less what Kyouta did for Tsubaki regarding Nako. Hm..would Tsubaki also go to a different school not recommended by Hiro? Anyway, storywise, Hiro has more or less done what his role requires of him and he can just disappear like the rest of the side characters..and just appear when needed. =P Actually, in the end, I don’t think that there won’t be many instances when Tsubaki will be in a pinch as to what to prioritize her time with. Later on, Kyouta will be too busy to date her anyway, because of his work. Also, when they go to college, they will be far from each other. Hehe..and Nako will be with Kyouta by then. =P By the way, what are the chances for Nako to be also there on the shooting star viewing the next day? On a side note, I’m wondering if Kyouta’s father isn’t paying for his expenses or making him pay for the hospital bills because it was his fault to get in an accident. Is it Kyouta’s pride that he doesn’t want to owe his father anything or the father doesn’t really provide for him? Also, is Kyouta just joking around or making it appear like a flaw that Tsubaki is over preparing and making a schedule for all this? [Free Talk:KKwH 93 is just up..I’ll get it done tomorrow. Teaser: Kyouta came to school late because he is walking too slowly. Tsubaki tries to apologize to him and make it up for him but Kyouta is still angry that he is snubbing her..more or less, and even accepted Nishiki’s invitation to go out, instead of a date with Tsubaki..or even if just a moment to talk. She goes to the planetarium and sees the polar bear statue that Kyouta planned to buy for her. She finds it cute. Then, she watches the show by herself. She ends up trying to stop herself from crying. She begins to regret why she chose to go to that lecture instead of reconciling with Kyouta. After the show, she sees a poster on some outdoor shooting star viewing. She invites Kyouta to go to that place through a note on his shoe locker. She arrives at the place and put everything up like in a picnic. There is no message from Kyouta. She tries to use some compass but ends up crying for Kyouta might not come. Fortunately, he did come. He tells her how to use the astronomical stuff she brought. Then, Tsubaki holds his hand and says that she likes him. That’s it. As for Black Bird, this is the new and iirc, the last arc. The past chapters can be found here. I just browsed through those summaries so I, more or less, know the general idea as to what happened. Since the Chinese scans had suddenly updated the chapters up to the latest chapter, and I think things are getting somewhat interesting, so I’ll summarize this again.
Misao and Kyo have returned to the human world. Misao is busy with her exams. Misao remembers the night at the village when they had non-stop sex. It seems that they are very worried about what Shou said that he won’t be like Kyo, who will kill Misao. They assume that Shou had read whatever it is in that immortal fruit records. [Sorry, I’m lazy to look up for the proper term. ^^; and I forgot what it is.] Kyo theorizes that something will change with either one of them that will lead up to that tragedy. Kyo fears for the possibility of Misao dying while Misao fears of the possibility of him leaving her. But, they decide to gamble and be strong. Then, finally, it seems that Misao manages to attract a male classmate though she thinks that Kyo will be angry if he knows about it. At home, Zenki mentions that there is a certain smell coming from Misao. This made Misao worry that she is changing. At school, Kyo had overheard some male classmates about being strangely attracted to Misao. He was furious that he went home to confront Misao but she already left. The others mention to him about that strange scent on Misao. Back at school, some baseball student wounded his wrist but Misao manages to treat it a normal way. So, when Misao is walking at the hallway, Kyo pulls her in a room and starts to lovey-dovey. She stops it by saying that her body scent is strong that she is changing. Soon, she relents to his advances. He tries to tell her to be strong then, he sees her blushing really red. Soon, he is asking her if she went out with that kind of face. Then, they have more lovey-dovey. Kyo’s friends are still talking about that scent which humans cannot smell. Later on, Misao wears a yukata and wants to show it to Kyo. She heads out to find a demon pestering her. Just when it is about touch her, Misao tries to get it away with her hand. To her surprise, it disappears.
It made her think that now she has demon powers. She goes to see Kyo and others. Kyo is pretty proud that the outfit suits her because he was the one who chose it. At first, Misao plans not to tell Kyo for maybe she is just mistaken but Kyo notices her looking somewhat depressed that he asks her what happened. Misao goes out and the demons are disappearing. Kyo tells her that she wasn’t mistaken over what happened. Misao is very nervous because she is changing..is she becoming a demon. Kyo seems to put back that protective necklace back to her. He confirms that there is a power emitting from her and it is protecting her. Kyo tells her that they observe this situation for a while. She fears that this power would become so strong that Kyo might kill her like that. She snaps out of it when Kyo assures her that it will be okay, do not be afraid. Going to Kyo, Misao thinks that she isn’t afraid of becoming a demon, she is afraid that things with Kyo will end up like this. [<- they will have to end their relationship.] Then, people are gathered around the river to watch the fireworks. Misao’s father is worried about Misao looking unhappy but her mother teases her that it is something about Kyo. Her father comments that a lot of people are there and they aren’t advancing in the queue. Misao looks up to see a blank whirlpool on the sky. She thinks the demons are gathered but they are not laying a hand on her. She has always wanted to have some power and now, she got it but can it be used to protect her important people. Not to be protected by Kyo but she protecting him. Then, someone bumps into Misao that made her fall down. The man apologizes and Misao’s father asks if she is alright. Misao senses something. It seems that she had created some invincible barrier around her that no one can get close to her. The people behind cannot walk towards her. Since the queue suddenly stops, people are pushing and pulling. [<-Recipe for a stampede] Misao thinks that this is happening because of her..the power is protecting her.
Misao’s mother worriedly goes to her but the barrier repels her. It pushed Misao’s mother backwards and she is about to fall downstairs. Misao panics that she shouts for it to stop. The barrier is suddenly released and her mother is saved but the people are being pushed away. Kyo flies down to her and everything is calm again. He tells her that he got rid of those demons above, and he heard her voice so he came. After Misao’s mother greeted Kyo, Misao is worried about people seeing him fly but Kyo tells him that no one saw it. Misao cries because everyone is safe and sound. Kyo hugs her and tells her to relax, everything is alright. She starts crying over her inability to control that power. Misao’s father is totally freaking out since they are hugging in public. Soon, Kyo carries freaking out Misao as he flies to a tall building. Then, they watch the fireworks. Misao runs to the side and almost falls because of the wind. ^^; Fortunately, Kyo caught her. ^^ Sitting together, Kyo is hugging her from behind while watching the fireworks. He asks her why she isn’t wearing the yukata. She tells him that it is because she didn’t know he is coming. She thanks him for without him, she would have been very afraid. Kyo assures her to not be afraid, she can control that power for what’s supporting power is ‘heart’. He tells her that she wants to protect someone so she becomes stronger. Misao realizes that Kyo became strong because he wanted to protect her. She wanted to protect him and this happiness so she doesn’t want to lose to anyone. They kiss. Then, the fireworks are over. Misao is uneasy over having to fly back with Kyo. Then, Kyo notices that Misao seems to weaken that he asks if she is feeling sick when they aren’t flying yet. He notices that Misao is trembling. To his surprise, she suddenly faints.
While studying with Kyo, Misao is very sleepy. Kyo touches her forehead with his and says that she doesn’t have a fever. He asks if she isn’t feeling well or is she very tired. Misao remembers waking up in bed after the fireworks..after Kyo brought her home. She finds all of this really strange. Kyo tells her to lie down. She refuses for a while until Kyo offers his arm as a pillow. Kyo asks her if she fainted again. She says no..she just get easily tired. They assume that it is because of the summer heat or maybe it is because of her ‘power’. While Kyo is talking to her about eating, Misao has fallen asleep. ^^; After waking her up with a flick on the forehead, Kyo tells her that she cannot study if she is sleepy. Then, he asks her about that aspiration form..what does she want to do after she graduates. Later on, Misao is feeling sleepy and tired again. Her mother tells her to eat dinner by herself since she is coming home late. After her mother left, Reiko calls and comes to visit. [Iirc, Reiko has a demon boyfriend and she is into archery. Tell me if I got the name wrong. ^^;] They talk about Misao’s power and talk about what to do after graduating. Misao is entertaining to become a kindergarten teacher since she likes kids but other than that, she has no other thoughts except to be Kyo’s wife. She fears that Kyo will be displeased if she doesn’t think of herself. Reiko tries to cheer her up. Later on, Misao wakes up and it is already around 6:38pm. She decides to cook dinner since her mother would be late. She looks at a cookbook and becomes teary-eyed upon seeing a note from her that she wanted Kyo to taste that. She thinks that what’s in her brain is mostly about Kyo. Suddenly, Kyo is standing behind her and telling her that recipe looks delicious that he wants her to cook it for him someday. After shouting for her to lock the door, Kyo is bugging Misao about her, cooking for him. She asks him why he is angry. Kyo says that she promised him to always go to his house during summer break. Misao tells him that Reiko came. Kyo replies that it isn’t for the whole day. Misao says that she feel asleep. Kyo tells her to sleep at his house. Misao cannot believe him because he gets angry when she falls asleep in front of him.
Then, Kyo got her to go out and buy some sweets to eat. After buying some dessert, Kyo notices that Misao didn’t chose the one she usually eats. While walking, Misao feels that he is walking too fast. Kyo ends up pulling her that Misao exclaims. This made Kyo ask if she is alright. Misao says no, but her hand hurts. Kyo didn’t let her go. He admits to her that he has always been thinking of her the whole day whether she will come and if she didn’t, he wonders if something had happened to her. He wasn’t able to concentrate that he couldn’t get his duties done. And, today, his mood is really messed up. Blushing Misao looks at flustered Kyo, and realizes that Kyo’s whole world revolves around her and that is why he is doing all this, just to be with her. Misao tells him that she wants to be his bride when she graduates. It isn’t that she doesn’t want to study, she wants to know how to become a wife though he might think that it is too early. Kyo asks her if she really wants that or she is just doing it to match with he wants. He tells her that she is quite patience to be with him so if there is anything she wants to do, he can wait for her. Misao repeats that she wants to be his bride. This surprises Kyo. After calming himself down, he holds her face and tells her that this time around, do not make him wait for nothing. They kiss with the hope that after graduation, Misao will ‘go into his house’. Misao thinks that her everything is all given to Kyo. After they kiss, Kyo asks when her mother will be back. She says she doesn’t know. Kyo invites her to do it but she refuses. After Kyo recovered over the disappointment, they are about to kiss again but their mother sees them. It made Kyo drop the cake on the floor while Misao’s mother is asking what Kyo is doing. At home, Misao wakes up in a start for falling asleep when she is supposed to take a bath. She wonders why she is so tired, is it because her menstruation is coming soon. She looks surprised as to when she last has it. Flustered Misao realizes that she could be pregnant and it happened while they were in the village. Reiko arrives home to her boyfriend to tell him what happened with Misao. He tells her that Misao didn’t have a power but rather, something living inside her has power. He muses that Kyo wasn’t able to change this karma.
And, blushing Misao tells Kyo that she could be pregnant because her menstruation didn’t arrive this month and from what she researched on the internet, she is showing symptoms of pregnancy. They realize that Misao’s power is coming from the baby that is protecting its mother. They realize that it is when, they had nonstop sex on the night when Shou was killed. They wonder what to do, to give birth to it or not. Kyo tells her that he will support her with whatever she chose to do. He will assume responsibility and she doesn’t have to answer right away. Misao tells him that she will be away during the weekend for a family outing. Kyo tells her that he will send someone who would accompany her in case the power becomes violent. She can also take that time to think things through. At the hot spring inn, Misao’s father apologizes to her that they can only stay for a night there because he hasn’t finish writing his book. Misao’s mother notices that Misao’s facial color doesn’t look good. Misao assures her that she is fine. Her parents prepare to take a bath but Misao says that she would go strolling for a while. Looking out the balcony, Misao wonders if Kyo is happy or not that she is pregnant. She thinks that Kyo ought to want to have this child but then, she would have to drop out of school. She doesn’t have to worry about money and a lot of people will help her. She thinks that she can no longer stay in the human world if she gives birth to it. For it to have such a strong power, the baby is obviously not an ordinary child. She fears how her parents would react upon knowing that Kyou isn’t human. They will oppose them but then, this is something that she cannot hide. She wonders what to do for even if she said that she wants to marry him, she didn’t thought of the important stuff. Just when she thinks of going back to the room, she senses that someone is behind her. [It is the Tengu kids] After seeing no one there, she wonders if she was just mistaken. In the room, her parents already had a dip in the hot spring and are talking about the guys they’ve met. They notice Misao who tells them that she is now going to the hot spring. Her parents start to worry about Misao who is acting strange. In the hot spring, Misao felt relaxed then wonders if the baby also felt the warmth. She doesn’t want to go back to her room because she couldn’t look straight at her father’s eyes. Then, she notices a curly haired kid on top of the fence. To her shock, Saburou jumps down from the fence and calls out to her. Kyo is shouting that they should be hiding. Misao is totally embarrassed then faints. Soon, she wakes up in a room with Kyo. Seeing herself wearing a robe, she comments about him going to the female’s bath. Kyo tells her that she should thank him for saving her. He tells her that it is cliche to say but her body isn’t only hers anymore and he cannot sit still, if he wasn’t the one protecting her. He backtracks over it since Misao has not decided if she wants to give birth to it or not. He asks flustered Misao what she plans to do.
Then, the door opens and Sagami and others come in. They are asking what this ‘giving birth’ is all about. The kids are already congratulating them. Sagami seems to be overcome with joy. This made Misao laugh and tell Kyo that of course, she is going to give birth to the baby since it is the baby of her most precious person. Of course, she will be happy over it but she fears over what the baby will be like. Would it have wings and what would her parents would say. That is what she is afraid of. She apologizes to Kyo that she still hasn’t.. Kyo asks her why she knows the baby will be a winged demon. She calms down and says that the baby is like Kyo. Kyo comments that she used to be afraid of him. Misao says that nevertheless, in the end, she likes Kyo, and everyone else. Kyo calmly tells her that her parents will one day understand/accept them, and he will do his best for that to happen. Putting his head on her abdomen, Kyo tells her that he would want her to give birth to their child. While the guys are smiling over this, Misao hugs Kyo and mentally tells her parents that this is the person she likes. To Misao’s shock, Kyo decides that they inform her parents today that she is pregnant but they will temporarily keep it a secret that he is a demon. Then, the two goes to see Misao’s parents. Misao’s father is shock to see Kyo there. He tries to tell him to go home and don’t interrupt their trip. Misao’s mother pacifies him and asks if something is up. While Misao is hiding behind him, Kyo tells them that there is something he has to tell them. After everyone is seated, Kyo informs them that Misao is pregnant and he would want them to allow her to give birth to it. After looking shock, Misao’s mother exclaims what about school and how Misao could bear such a heavy burden. Kyo tells her that it is his entire fault. Misao protests that it isn’t only his fault, for how could only one person make her pregnant, it is also her fault. Surprisingly, Misao’s father tells them to take the responsibility of giving birth to this child. He says that he understands why his wife is against about repeating this [<- I think it happened to her parents, too] but because they have a cute daughter, their lives are happier so there is no reason for him to object if this will make Misao attain happiness. Misao is teary-eyed over this. Kyo bows and thanks him. Misao holds his sleeve then they hug each other. Misao’s father is also crying over his angel, and his wife sweatdrops over his reaction. Later on, Kyo, who is with Misao, is fussing about some public bath with Zenki and Houki. They didn’t notice that on top of the roof by the tree, a man, with a fur shoulder coat, watching them. The man tensely says that it is the immortal fruit [whatever Misao’s title is] and the Tengu. He never thought to see them there and he will make them taste his clan’s hatred/grudge.
And that’s it. =P So, Misao is pregnant though I thought shouldn’t they really make sure first like a pregnancy test..but then, I guess there is no need since it is already obvious. ^^; I wonder if Misao will drop out of school immediately or at least go to school until it isn’t obvious. Actually, if she is to live in Kyo’s village after they married, and she’ll probably a housewife, it isn’t really important for her to graduate high school. They just have to worry about each other and the baby’s safety, as well as about that ‘prophecy’. It seems that one of their clans’ enemies is planning an attack soon. It might be that night because they are staying there only for the night. Well, with Kyo and the other’s support, this will probably help Misao to become stronger and confident with her decision. Ren thinks that he didn’t expect Kuon to surface so quickly that he wasn’t even given time to think. He wanted to ‘save himself’ by fighting the darkness, and this isn’t counted/cannot be considered as a competition. Remembering Setsuka saying that the soul is interlinked, Ren lets out a laugh for Kyouko always go directly to the [key] point. Sitting up, Ren thinks he planned to release his darkness while playing BJ. The him then is really Kuon. There’s no opportunity for ‘Tsuraga Ren’, he totally forgot about acting. He wonders if he’s losing, if this continues, and one day, he’ll become that guy. Pulling the blanket on him, Ren fears of truly becoming like BJ. The him who cannot act is only a.. Rick’s girlfriend shouting ‘Murderer’. Ren trembles over that. Then, he remembers Kyouko holding his hand and calling out to him. He sits up to see Kyouko’s bed empty. Outside, Kyouko looks at the clock and notices that it is already 2pm. Holding a small bag, she already used up 40 minutes to buy some things. She laments about not being able to sleep when she usually sleeps well. She thinks that she couldn’t sleep comfortably in the same room with Ren. Before as his manager, she will sleep later than Ren and wake up early than him. She thinks that she is quite bothered about what happened today regarding Ren’s stiff expression as if to say she is mistaken. She heads in the elevator and continues to think she thought it was Cain who brought about that smile, but Ren isn’t aware of it so why does Ren acted to that degree. The elevator opens and she finds Ren standing with the blanket on him <- like a ghost, standing at the hallway. His eyes look empty and sad. Kyouko looks surprised and worriedly calls out to him and asks what happened. Next chapter will be out on October 20th!
Okay, I’m not sure if this flashback is a continuation of the previous flashbacks shown before since Rick and girlfriend’s outfits doesn’t look the same. If it is the same one, and this is the only one time that Kuon went berserk, I think this is what happened. Some guys provoked Kuon about being Japanese and bullied him. He snapped and beat up those guys. The leader of those guys is probably the one who tried to escape. Kuon ran after him. Rick ran after Kuon. The leader drives the car and hits Rick. Rick’s girlfriend blames Rick’s death on Kuon. Well, it does seem weird if this only occurred one time and Ren is terribly afraid of becoming Kuon. So, dark Kuon should probably came out many times before. Maybe dark Kuon is a build up of his frustrations in life especially with all those rejections in auditions and he couldn’t be like his father. Seeing how fallen Kuon ended up, I guess Ren would probably want to keep his identity a secret from Kyouko forever because he doesn’t want her to be disillusioned over what happened to Corn. Seeing how fragile Ren’s mental state is, I guess this is why his parents are terribly worried about him. While he is wrestling over his demons, Kyouko is indeed his ‘protective charm’. Ren waited for 20 minutes for Kyouko to come back in the middle of the night. There must be some very scary thoughts and worries that came across his mind..which seem like forever..and that is probably why he ended up standing there at the hallway. I think it would help Ren if he mentions all this stuff to Kyouko who can probably help him out rather than be clueless over what’s going on. Well, I’m not sure if Ren can tell her but I think after this, Kyouko might need to keep a close watch or be with him always. He is currently losing to dark Kuon this early..it is indeed worrisome as to what will happen later on during the real filming..or if the filming will finish. Anyway, it will take a long time for us to know with the constant breaks and slow pacing of the story. I think this series will go past chapter 200. ^^; So..at least, hopefully, the author will give us a hug-comfort scene of some sort in chapter 181. =P Scans by 红莲汉化组.

Courtesy of Anónimo, who tagged about it. From the teasers in baidu about SB! 180, this is what I can more or less understand. It started off with a fight between Kuon and some guy with a knife. It seems that Rick tries to stop Kuon but Kuon manages to wrestle free to chase after the guy. Kuon snaps out of it only after Rick called out to him. Then after that fight with Murasame, Setsuka says that she knows that her brother is really happy in acting it. Cain asks her how she knows. She tells him that it is because he smiled. This shocks Ren for he realized that he had changed into Kuon and forgot that he was acting. Ren shivers that he turned into murderer Kuon. Then, in some car scene, Kyouko’s warm hand is put on his, and it made him stop trembling. [<- not sure if it is the car chase before, or on the way to the hotel.] Because Kyouko doesn’t want to sleep, she went out to go shopping. Then, she returned to the hotel and reaches the elevator. She felt it is very strange as to why Ren trembled over what Setsuka said. When the elevator opens, she finds Ren covered in a bed sheet. His eyes are empty as he stands at the side. It seems that Ren had a nightmare. That’s it. For the bad news, the author goes on a break so next chapter will be out on October 20th. -_-; Just wait for the scanlations for details and corrections.

Mili is surprised when someone calls out for the participants to gather around. Mili quickly runs off to remove the stain. Terazawa is watching her from behind. Misako calls Mili a shorty idiot since she cannot remove that stain in time. The assistant nervously tells her that she’s mean. Misako laughs off that it is fortunate that one rival disappears and if a lot of people fail, it is much better. “I really would want to throw coffee on each and every participants!” She is surprised when someone calls out that she is quite letdown. Misako is angry as to who called her that. When she turns around, it turns out to be Terazawa. Thinking that it is the genius photographer and that she should make a good impression on him, Misako tells him that it isn’t what she truly thought and, it is just a wrong way of wording it. She says that she is just depressed over what that child told her after bumping on her. Terazawa mutters that the camera lens can see through a person’s heart and she has such a wicked heart. With that, Terazawa turns around and bids her goodbye. This irks Misako. To her assistant’s dismay, Misako decides to leave and forfeit the audition. The glasses guy calls out to Terazawa that it is time for the judging. Terazawa tells him to wait and hurriedly runs away. At a sink, Mili tries to clean the shirt. She is infuriated with Misako that she would make her give her five..no, ten years worth of ramen. Mili wants to write Misako’s name on her grudge notebook. Then, she is surprised to hear a knock. It is Terazawa who asks her if she is okay. Mili mentally freaks out why he is there. Then, Nadeshiko arrives but she still hasn’t recovered from her diarrhea. [I’ll consider him as a ‘she’ when summarizing.] She wonders if Mili is okay then she sees Mili together with Terazawa. Standing at the corner and watching them, Nadeshiko is nervous because those two are like water and fire. Terazawa introduces himself to Mili and gives her a business card. Mili and Nadeshiko are shock for it turns out that Terazawa doesn’t recognize Mili. Terazawa also gives her a small bottle which can help her remove stains, and he claims that it is very useful. Mili thanks him. This made Terazawa blush that Nadeshiko notice it. Terazawa wishes her to do her best at the audition, and then, he leaves. Nadeshiko is laughing that Terazawa is blushing over Mili, but her stomach aches again that she has to return to the toilet. Mili looks at the business card – Photographer Terazawa Kaiji. [based on the kanji of 介. I think I got it wrong because] Mili comments that it is a strange name. Mili thinks that she is really shock that Kaiji didn’t recognize her and Masao’s makeover on her is really amazing that Masao is really a genius. She is surprised when she overhears someone calling out for the participants to come inside when their number is called. Mili panics over what to do because it isn’t easy to remove the stain and she’ll be late. Soon, numbers 27-29 are called in the room. Kaiji looks at the list and thinks that the last one, number 30 is Mika [based on kanji 米嘉]. He wonders if that girl earlier is Mika. Someone calls out to Mika but they only hear a loud running sound. Mika arrives with a ‘new improvised’ outfit. She fixes her hair in a ponytail to the side. She had also ripped the shirt in half and twisted it to the side with a flower [from Masao’s bag]. She had also cut the jeans into shorts. While everyone is shock by what she did, Mika apologizes for being late. The other models are muttering over how cunning Mika is, with what she did with her outfit.
One of the judges asks Mili if she is number 30’s Mika. At first, Mili is puzzled then she remembers Masao telling her that today, she will be known as Mika. Mili says that she is Mika. They ask her why she cut the clothes short. Mika calmly says that she had an accident but then, they only told her to change into those clothes, they didn’t mention about not letting her cut to alter it. The man sheepishly smiles and says that even so, in this situation, they should just wear the outfit that they were told to wear. One of the judges in a dark suit suddenly burst into laughter. The other judges sweatdrops over Kitaouji [北大路]’s reaction. Kitaouji apologizes and says that it is only because he finds this new kid quite interesting. He tells them that they should have mentioned that ‘they are not to alter the clothes in any way.’ Kitaouji smiles and calls out to Mika to ask her a question. “Why do you want to become a model? You are too short for your height. Honestly speaking, don’t you think that is very disadvantageous to you?” Mika bluntly replies that it isn’t. “A so-called model is someone who wears an outfit to show off its beauty to the audience. I consider the audience’s perception on the outfit as the most important thing. I want the audience to have a very deep impression on the outfit I’m wearing. Make them to also want to try and wear it. I have self-confidence in that. Just because I’m short, can’t I become a model? Just being short, even if I want to become a model, is it necessary to just give up? Becoming a model is my dream! When I was young, I always have this dream. So, I do not want to give up on it.” This made Kaiji remembers the past. Flashback: Young [junior high] Kaiji bowed to his father who angrily exclaimed what, he wants to become a photographer. Kaiji said that it is true. His father shouted for him to quit talking nonsense, he will inherit his business [/career]. Calling his son foolish, Kaiji’s father told him to forget it and don’t let some awards and praises get into his head. Trembling in anger, Kaiji insisted that he wants to become a photographer and not inherit his father’s business. His father told him to get lost if he insisted on that, and he’s going to sever ties as father and son, with him. And, Kaiji left home. End flashback. Kaiji thinks he ran away from home for his dream and yet until now, he has not found what he wanted to take pictures of, to the point that he feels at a loss everyday. Soon, the judges complain about being tired and time flies really fast. Looking at the pictures on the table, the judges’ choices are between participant number 7 and 9, who were not only familiar to the public but also stylish. Then, they see a photo of a girl and wonders, who this cute girl is. They wonder if this girl is in the audition and she has that attitude look. To their shock, Kaiji tells them that it is number 30, Mika. The judges couldn’t believe that the girl is the short one.
Kaiji tells them that until now, of all the people he had taken a picture of, this is the first time he has encountered a person like Mika. Even if her body built is small, as a whole, it feels very good that he thinks she’s very interesting. The other judges protest that but still, she is short. Slightly flustered Kaiji asks them that as a photographer, can he have that picture to give it to Mika. Since Kaiji insists, they let him have it. Kitaouji takes the picture of Mika, then he looks thoughtful. Soon, it is night. Pulling her luggage, Mili complains about being lost just because Masao told her that ‘her’ stomach is aching so she should go ahead. At the garbage dump, she sees a small round table with a flower sticker in the middle. She finds it cute and decides to pick it up because her own room doesn’t have any furniture that it seems quite lonely. She also doesn’t have money so she couldn’t buy one. Just when she holds up the table, she is startled to see a man lying down behind it, shivering. After screaming in fright, she wonders if she is naturally poor to be able to pick up anything she wants to get. [<- good at picking up things?] In her room, the cat is crying because Mili used its underwear, that has just been washed and dried, on the man’s forehead [to lower the fever? The cat is obvious some sort of ‘in’ joke ^^;]. Mili calls the cat Yoshika [义贺] and apologizes to it for she couldn’t find some other thing to use. She promises Yoshika that she will wash it again so don’t cry anymore. Mili sighs and thinks that because she picked up that guy, she is forced to leave that table. She wonders if the table will still be there tomorrow. If not, she will just make that man treat her to some ramen. Looking out the window, Mili thinks that even so, she is quite happy over today’s audition. She wants to become a model soon, and stand in front of a camera. The man wakes up and looks at Mili. He thinks of her as an angel. When Mili looks at him, the man sits up and thinks that she looks familiar. He remembers the time when Mili angrily asks if he is looking for her, when she is there, and she ate a lot of ramen at his store. Hikaru [formerly named Akira ^^;] exclaims that she is that ramen girl and why is she in his room. Mili tells him that this is her room. Looking around, Hikaru wonders what happened and why he is there. Mili tells him that she had picked him up from the garbage dump and brought him there. Hikaru is surprised to hear that. Mili advices him that even if he is very tired, he shouldn’t sleep in that place because it is quite cold tonight and it might end up dead. While Yoshika takes his underwear back and wears it. Hikaru puts his hand on Mili’s shoulder thanks her. Calling her his angel, Hikaru also thanks her for her concern and they have met again so it must be a red thread of fate that connected them together. Holding her face, Hikaru starts to flirt with Mili by saying that they should spend the whole night talking about their love in his room, as his thanks for her. Then, Kaiji comes in and calls out to shorty that her mails got mixed up with his. Kaiji gets angry when she calls him a neat freak. Kaiji shouts that it isn’t ‘Keppeki’ [<- Japanese of neat freak; mysophobia] but his name is Kaiji. It turns out that Mili had kicked away Hikaru. Yoshika steals Hikaru’s wallet only to find it empty. Then, Kaiji screams out in horror at how dirty Mili’s room is = it is filled with germs. He quickly puts a face mask on, as well as, a pair of gloves.
Looking at her mail, Mili gloomily asks if he read her mails and does he really wanted to see those failed notifications. Kaiji shouts that he thought those are his mails that he carelessly opened them. Mili tells him that from today on, she will call him careless neat freak. While they argue about him being called a neat freak, Hikaru holds Kaiji’s shoulder. Calling Kaiji room 102, Hiaruku says that he can no longer bear his [Kaiji] rudeness to his angel. Kaiji laughs off that Hikaru is calling Mili his angel and no wonder he is a host [/gigolo]. Hikaru angrily accuses Kaiji of not understanding a woman’s charm. Kaiji asks him if Mili has any charm. Mili asks them if they know each other. Kaiji tells them that they don’t know each other but he is just a tenant here. Hikaru is surprised that they are at Renge’s place so no wonder the place looks familiar to him. It turns out that Hikaru stays in room 104. Kissing Mili’s hand, Hikaru introduces himself as Tanahashi Sumio Genji Hikaru [棚桥角夫即源氏光]. Kaiji thinks it is boring and prepares to leave. Then, Renge calls out from below to Mili to tell her that she has a phone call from ‘Pretty Teens’. Mili and Kaiji are surprised by this. Then, Mili is moping at the side of the bar. Renge comments that Mili is sadder than usual. Nadeshiko tells Mili to have some self-confidence for she is her hairstyle-makeup artist. Patting Mili’s head, Hikaru tells her to cheer up for she will definitely be on the limelight soon. Kaiji tells him not to comfort Mili that way because reality is very cruel. Thinking of Mika, Keiji says that no matter how much strength one has, if one shows up really good in front of the camera, there will definitely be a time when there is no alternative [but getting something/winning?]. Nadeshiko teases Keiji as to who he is referring to. Blushing Keiji tells her that he is just ‘generally speaking’. He asks if Mili joined that audition today and how come he didn’t see her. Nadeshiko teases him again for looking at some other person, that is why he didn’t notice. This made Keiji blush even more that he drinks some water. Nadeshiko happily calls out to Mili to cheer up for she is going to treat her to some ramen at the new restaurant called Mika Ramen Store. This made Kaiji spit out the water[?] he is drinking, on to Hikaru’s clothes. Hikaru is furious for it is expensive but Keiji says that it should be from a bargain sale, probably costs around 10,000 yen. Hikaru shouts that it is a brand name suit given to him by Umeko [梅子]. Then, to Renge’s somewhat surprise, Nadeshiko says that Mili is gone. Outside, at probably some park, Mili looks up to the moon and sadly says that she was quite satisfied over how she conducted herself today and it seems that striving hard isn’t good enough. “I should toughen myself well! For my dream to become a model, I won’t ever give it up!” Then someone tells her that he’ll give her a chance. She turns around to see Kitaouji. He smiles and tells her, “The opportunity to make your dream come true, I’ll give it to you!” This surprises Mili.
It seems that Mili will now have a chance thanks to Kitaouji, whatever his job is or who he really is. Sometimes it does pay to keep on auditioning and doing one’s best because someone will definitely notice. This is what happened to Mili. I wonder if Kaiji has already figured out that Mika is Mili or he still cannot figure it out after all the hints and coincidences. It turns out that he also had a dream he wants to fulfill no matter want, even if he is disowned. It is really a big deal for him to endure living in that place especially since he seems to be from a well-to-do family and he has mysophobia. Hikaru’s role here isn’t defined yet but for now, he is Mili’s defender from Kaiji. As for Misako, she is probably the ‘hated rival’ but from the looks of it, she is already losing jobs because of her personality. Even if Misako is that mean, Mili is quite strong so I think she can easily fend Misako off. Anyway, I like Mili’s philosophy about being a model. It reminded me that being a model isn’t about being beautiful, etc but rather, how to make the people want to buy the outfits that they are wearing. Scans by defer.

Then, Asako asks why, is it because of their age gap, is that what he is bothered about. She tells him if it is that then he should look at it in a far-sighted way because in four years time, she will become an adult and at that time, she’s independent. She then starts to doubt by saying that perhaps, 4 years is a bit big. She asks if it is because of Haru, because she is Haru’s friend. She tells him if that is the reason, he doesn’t need to worry about it for it will definitely be delightful if she becomes Haru’s relative and Haru is definitely the same..he’ll definitely be happy for them. She cries and says that she sincerely and truly likes him. Sadly smiling Micchan kindly tells her that in his heart, there is no place for her and even afterwards, even if a lot of years had passed, there is definitely no possibility that a place will be created for her. “..your persistence is somewhat making me feel perplexed.” Asako looks stunned. Back at the game center, Yamaken had asked Shizuku if she wants to secretly get out of there. Shizuku apologizes to him but she still has study together with Asako. Yamaken sighs and says that is right. Shizuku asks if it is something urgent. Yamaken asks if he cannot ask her out if nothing is up. Shizuku is totally puzzled by what he meant. Yamaken thinks that it puts him in a bad mood thinking she is considering him as someone harmless and she doesn’t even remember how to dig a bit into the other’s thoughts and feelings [<- Shizuku is clueless on how he feels.] because if it isn’t like that, he doesn’t know whether he should go forward or retreat. Shizuku steals a glance at him and Yamaken smiles. Shizuku quickly looks away. This made Yamaken think that the situation is good. Holding a long broom and a basket of baseballs, Haru comments that they are acting suspicious. Yamaken tells him that it is nothing and just leave, since a customer is calling out to him [Haru]. Haru warns Shizuku to be careful of Yamaken for at times he acts in a perverted way so if something happens, just call out to him [Haru]. Shizuku freaks out that Yamaken is a pervert. While telling Haru to be careful else he’ll slaughter him, Yamaken thinks what nonsense Haru is saying and it is no fun if Shizuku is taking precautions against him. Deciding to make some small talk, Yamaken asks her if that stupid girl on their side is having some difficulties. Shizuku asks if he meant Asako, well, it seems that her term exams are mostly in the red. This reminds Shizuku that Asako is late. Haru is in a bad mood because he has been so busy that he doesn’t have time to think. He wonders what answer he should give to Chizuru = regarding what Micchan told him to think about. “If I answered.. what will it change into..?” Then, Haru happily welcomes Micchan back and says that he came back late. Micchan is carrying Asako’s box of donuts along with the stuff he bought. Seeing that it is already 720pm, Haru exclaims that it is already that time so what is Asako doing. He decides to call her. Before Haru can call, Micchan tells him that Asako isn’t coming today because she doesn’t want him and Shizuku to see her crying. Haru looks dark and asks Micchan why Asako is crying.
Agitated Shizuku goes out of the practice baseball hitting area and thinks that it is already late so she’ll borrow Haru’s cellphone to tell Asako that she is going home. She is surprised to hear Haru shouting that Micchan is an idiot and why did he say that kind of stuff. Then, the trio also comes out and finds it interesting that Haru and the Micchan is fighting. Yamaken kicks two of the trio and tells them to go home and not say such things. He asks about Shizuku. She tells him that she’ll stay there for a while because she didn’t bring money with her. He advises her not to be zealous, because it is dangerous [if she interfered]. Shizuku says ya. Yamaken tells her that next time, he’ll call her up. A bit puzzled Shizuku just looks at him. While picking up the papers that Haru had tossed around, Micchan tells him that he is still the same, and in this kind of situation, that is the only what he [Micchan] can decide on. Micchan says that is why Haru is always giving his father a headache. Haru angrily shouts for him to shut up because this and that thing has no relation. Micchan sighs and says that it is inevitable or could it be that he [Haru] wants him to be in love with a high schooler. Haru shouts that didn’t he usually carry girl’s stuff around, he [Haru] saw it many times before. Micchan tells him those cosplay stuff isn’t his, those are Andou’s. Shizuku is startled when Haru messes things up again by throwing things and shouting that Micchan is a liar. While papers are flying around, Haru darkly says that he told him before that, he is totally not to make Asako cry. “I will absolutely not forgive you!” Irritated Micchan says, “..Haru, who do you think you are talking to?” The next day, Shizuku tells Sasayan what had happened but she didn’t learn what happened in the end for she went home midway of the fight. Shizuku tensely says that the fight is quite violent [/fierce] between Haru and angry Micchan. Sasayan thinks that he would really want to see it. He says is that so, that is why Haru is absent today and the reason why Asako is in that state of absent-mindedness since this morning. Asako is lost in thought while feeding Nagoya. Shizuku muses that it is quite unexpected for Asako to be this calm for she thought that Asako will continue to be enthusiastic and continue the struggle so apparently this is obviously now a grave problem. Sasayan sweatdrops and tells Shizuku that isn’t calm, that is despair. He mutters that it seems that this side is also worrisome. Sasayan advices Shizuku because Asako didn’t say anything and perhaps she doesn’t want anyone to mention it so they should just let Asako quietly be by herself. Shizuku thinks if that is so. “If heart-broken, will I also be like that? If I’m heart-broken, will Haru also be that angry like yesterday? Cannot long for, and cannot be somewhat lost. But, ..that’s not right, the Haru by that time, won’t be at my side.”
Asako thinks that Micchan is quite cunning to tell her that he is perplexed by her persistence because it made her unable to answer back. “For Mizu-chan, there is Haru. *Haru showing a picture of what seems to be a dugong to Shizuku* And, for Haru, there is Mizu-chan. *Shizuku angrily holds Nagoya and her notebook with chicken footprints to Haru who is drinking juice. Asako watches them and thinks that it’s good, it’s very good.* Then what about me? After all is said and done, [until] when can I be like that--” Asako snaps out of that when Shizuku calls out her name. Asako is already in a classroom being tutored by Shizuku. Holding a notebook, Shizuku asks her if she is listening. Asako nervously apologizes and says that’s right, when Xavier visited Japan. Shizuku asks her what she is talking about. After a pause, Shizuku tells Asako that even if she empathizes with Asako but right now, she should put that broken heart temporarily aside and concentrate on studying. Asako is shock by that and nervously asks how Shizuku knew. Then, she says that Shizuku probably heard it from Micchan. She apologizes to Shizuku about yesterday. “No no-- It is just as you said. That, one should be more cautious in giving burden to others.. *tears fall down*” Shizuku is shock to see her crying that she quickly apologizes. Asako says no, no, sorry, please don’t mind it. She tells Shizuku that this thing is normal. “Fundamentally, until the moment that the other person is gone, I would forever not understand. And, during this time, I should be staying all by myself at home to calm myself then afterwards, I’m back to normal. ..but this time, because of what Micchan said.. *tears continue to fall* ..What’s up with me? I’m not the same as I’m usually am.. ” Shizuku wonders if Asako is always like that, wherein she bears her feelings all by herself. “Just like this, no matter how many times it happens, she’ll quietly bear those pain..” Shizuku pats Asako’s head and tells her, “..do not cry anymore.” Asako is surprised as she remembers herself asking who will give her a chair to sit. Asako starts bawling and hugs Shizuku. Shizuku thinks that even if everyone will still chase after some other people, whether it is Haru or Natsume-chan, no matter how many times [they] fail, they are definitely stronger than her. At the street leading from the school, Haru is waiting for someone. His face has scratches, bruises and bandages. Chizuru is shock to see him that she shouts what happened to his face. “Or, I should say, why are you in a place like this? Weren’t you absent today?” Haru slightly smiles and says that he is waiting for her. Chizuru is surprised then she smiled and asked what it is. Haru says, “I already like someone. ..I always don’t have self-confidence. I would continuously keep on simply doubting my own feelings. If that girl smiled at me, I don’t know why but I feel that I can definitely do it. *sad smile* So, I’m sorry, Ooshima. ..can this be considered an answer?”
Chizuru says yes, it is okay. She forces a smile and tells him that it is quite troublesome so please do not look at her with such a sorrowful expression. Flustered Haru apologizes that he doesn’t know what kind of expression he should use. Chizuru says that she really likes his smile. Haru apologizes and says that he couldn’t smile. Chizuru laughs and says that is right, because for him, it is difficult. She remembers the time when she confessed to Haru. “Even if it is at that kind of place, I also like [you]. At that time, you had such a happy smile coming from within your heart. Actually, even if it is only that, it is already enough. It’s really great that I was able to say it. That is what I thought.” Chizuru sadly smiles and says, “..for you to sincerely give your answer, thank you. Bye, Yoshida-kun.” Chizuru quietly goes to the bus stop then she calls Yuu up to tell her that she got Haru’s answer. Back in school, Asako is utterly aghast-shock when Shizuku told her that Haru and Micchan fought with each other. Shizuku says that it was such a chaotic fight at the parking lot and most likely, Haru is very angry that Asako is [emotionally] hurt. Worried Asako gets her cellphone to call Haru and exclaims why Haru did such a thing. She is surprised to see Haru standing out the window. Haru asks what about him. Asako is totally shock that she shouts what happened to his face. Shizuku asks Haru what he is doing today, for school has already dismissed early on. She is puzzed when he says that there are a lot of things [he attended to]. Haru apologizes to Asako for she is obviously very troubled and yet he wasn’t even able to help her in anything. This made Asako speechless that she starts to cry again. She tearfully tells him that it is alright, and compared to that, he should properly get together with Micchan again. Haru tells her that he thought he could win against Micchan, but in the end, Micchan fights still fights like before. At the game center, Sasayan sweatdrops and says that is such an awful face. Micchan is reading a manga and his face also has scratches, bruises and small bandages. ^^; While playing practice baseball, Sasayan tells Micchan that he heard what happened from Shizuku, that he fought with Haru. He comments that Micchan can still stand up after fighting with Haru. Micchan laughs and says that the difference is still big and how could he lose to a brat. Sasayan tells him that Asako has been absent-minded the whole day and she might not go back there anymore. With a tear in his eye, Micchan says that he will be lonely. Sasayan mentally curses that he cannot see through. [<- probably not hitting the ball.]
Sasayan looks at Micchan and asks if it is his fault, regarding that problem with Asako. He tells him that Asako is really depressed and no matter how he looks at it, he had encouraged Asako before, to use the ‘stalker way’ [/annoy Micchan and never let go]. Sasayan admits that he went into some deep soul-searching about it, as to why he said those words to her. After inhaling his cigarette, Micchan says no, it has nothing to do with Sasayan and he originally planned on doing this ever since Valentine’s day when he got the chocolate. Sasayan exclaims is that so, that’s very good. Preparing to leave, Sasayan says that is what he wanted to know so, goodbye, manager. After a pause, Micchan tells him, “Hey, Gambatte, Sasayan.” Sasayan looks at him then smiles. He tells Micchan, “That-is-called, meddling into other people’s business!” [<- busybody, like what Micchan told him before.] Micchan smiles and thinks that Asako said that perhaps ‘four years is very long’ – four year gap might be too big, but for him, four years is nothing much but for them [youngsters], it is very long. “I always felt that it is very good, this so-called high schooler.” Someone then calls out to Micchan that they need loose change. Meanwhile, Asako cries over her heartache and Shizuku, together with Haru, keeps on urging her to concentrate even if she empathizes with her. At the playground’s swings, Yuu comforts crying Chizuru. Later on, at school, flowers [sakura?] petals are flying around. Shizuku goes to the roof and calls out to Haru who is sitting by the side. She says that he is unexpectedly there [and also Nagoya]. “Aren’t you going to the closing ceremony? Saeko-sensei is calling for you.” Haru tells her that this place makes him feel free of worries so he wants to stay there, and he doesn’t want to listen to what that person says. Shizuku says is that so. Haru holds Shizuku’s wrist and tells her to stay there. Shizuku looks at him then, she sits beside him. She says that this is okay, for anyway, there is no class. She looks at the flying petals and says that no matter when, it is here. Haru is puzzled. She tells him that this is the place when she first skipped class. “The one who can change my world is always you, Haru. Thanks to you, I’m twice as busy, than before, because not only do I have to be concerned my own affairs, I also need to be concerned about other people’s affairs. (Only having a relation with others, it’s okay to hurt, as well as, to be hurt. And I’m afraid that even if that is so, people will still continuously chase after some other person.) ..ah, this is also inevitable. It’s definitely just the same thing.” Haru looks at her and smiles. He holds her face then holds a flower petal. He holds it to his mouth and says, “..Petal.” Narration: “Spring approaches. I will be in second year high.” Blurb: “Go up to the next stage. Spring break. Yamaken finally called Shizuku up..! New plot progress!!?”
And, the love fortunes during the New Year has all come true. This chapter goes to show that having friends with you during heartbreaks is really a good thing. ^^ Asako is really such a sorry sight for she really took it hard. Hm..is it good timing for at least she has to study to pass = forget or bad timing because she cannot concentrate? ^^; It is quite ironic that a lot of guys wanted her and yet, she falls for the one who is ‘hard to get’. I guess that for Shizuku and Haru to be there for Asako does comfort her a bit, especially what Haru try to do for her. I’m sure it made her realize that she made truly wonderful friends this time around. Micchan’s rejection somewhat puzzles me because from his narration, it seems that he is willing to make Asako his lover but he is more worried about it being too long for Asako to wait four years. I guess he is realistic enough to think that Asako will still grow and change, and he doesn’t want her to wait and be tied up to him that long especially since he doesn’t love her up to that degree. Maybe he is thinking that if her feelings for him haven’t change during those four years, they can still be a couple. Also, it seems that he is giving way to Sasayan. Interestingly, Sasayan had also ‘given way’ to Micchan when he urged Asako to keep on clinging on to Micchan until he relents. This gives Sasayan a chance with Asako and well, after seeing all the guys that Asako had dumped, I guess Sasayan is cautious and want to stay ‘being friends’ for now. At the gate of her house, Kotori thanks him for walking her home. Yukito finally lets his hand off her. The two timidly greets each other good night and see you tomorrow. Yukito waves goodbye and walks away. After waving back, Kotori goes in. After a pause, Kotori thinks, “What..what’s up with Yukito--~~!? *blush* So..so he plans to do it once it ends? After cultural festival meant.. after it ends!? After it ends, we’ll do it? Is that what it is? It refers to we are going to do it immediately after it ends!?” Meanwhile, Yukito is walking back. Then, he poses and mentally exclaims, “Yes! [second time] So, it refers to doing it immediately after the cultural festival! I had touched her a lot of times, and she isn’t protesting to it! It seems that the situation should be alright, no problems at all. Kotori doesn’t seem to resist being touched just like before. *silly smile then looks thoughtful* Ah..but.. can I endure it? Always until the end of the cultural festival.. After she answered ok, I wanted to touch her more.. and I might not be able to restrain myself.. *blush then covers face* Ah..ya, but..if I’m not careful, things might turn out bad. Ya~~” Kotori’s brother passes by suspicious looking Yukito and thinks that he looks familiar. “I’ve just seen a pretty weird looking male high schooler.” Kenken is quietly watching out of the gate. [<- guess he didn’t reach Yukito in time. =P] At his house, Yukito opens the door and says that he is hungry, what they are going to eat today. He finds Masaya gloomily sitting at the dining table while removing the thread from some beans [seems to be Edamame or French green beans]. Yukito asks that didn’t he went to school only for this morning so how come he is still wearing his uniform. Masaya puts a pack of sesame salt [Gomashio; used to put on plain rice or onigiri for flavor] in a bowl and puts it on the table. Yukito stares at it and wonders if this means that they only have rice today. Masaya mutters, “That girl is simply just a little demon.” Yukito is puzzled as to what little demon he is talking about. Then, Masaya starts to quietly remove the strings of the beans again. Taking the bowl, Yukito thinks that he’ll just eat and let that thing drop for Masaya’s mood is really bad, and today is a happy day for him. Masaya darkly says that his younger brother at that side is smiling so apparently he is happy. Yukito looks nervous for he has a bad premonition about this.
Standing up, Masaya says that in Yukito’s school, there is a girl who is like a little demon. “She’s perhaps first year or second year. Very beautiful, and goes home at the same route as we do. If you see her, tell her that your brother wants to say hi.” Yukito asks who he is talking about, and how is he doing to know who that is, based on such a vague information. Masaya tells him that it is a girl with fluffy and curly hair who is about his [Yukito] body size. Yukito says that this is quite strange [/rare]. “Is that the type you like? Do you want me to arrange for you two to meet?” Masaya says no, he wants revenge. This puzzles Yukito even more. Masaya says forget it, let’s not talk about it anymore. Yukito finds it baffling that he doesn’t want to talk about it. Masaya tells him that it seems that Yukito is quite happy just now, so tell him if something good had happened. Blushing Yukito denies that something good happened. Putting his arm around Yukito, Masaya says no, there is definitely something based on his expression. “Say it and let me hear it- It has definitely something to do with Kotori.” Yukito tries to deny it. Grabbing Yukito’s collar, Masaya tells him to spill it out quick. Nervous Yukito exclaims that Masaya is venting his anger on him. “You’re eyes aren’t laughing, the way you talk is scary. Why is your mood this bad?” Later on, Masaya says is that so. “Finally with Kotori.. unexpectedly forcing her.. *covers face* to agree on that kind of lewd promise.. Forcing a pure girl!” Flustered Yukito exclaims that it isn’t force, and please do not say it in such a strange way. “Kotori said that if it is me, it’s alright.. She said that..” Yukito becomes speechless when Masaya says that it turns out that without that kind of ‘promise’, their relationship won’t progress. “Even if Kotori answered ok, but a part of the reason could be, that you forced her urgently, that she has no way of refusing it, right?” Looking dark, Yukito mutters that he couldn’t deny that it isn’t so. Masaya tells him to forget it. “Gambatte *sparkling* Absolutely do not ‘fail’ okay? Because the ‘first’ is ‘very important’. A lot of girls cannot forget their first, so do not ‘disappoint’ her.” Yukito looks surprised by this that he thinks, “First. Fail. Disappoint. Incapable. XXX. Have no right to become a man. XXX Never before in the history.” Masaya notes that he didn’t say it to that extent.
The next day at school, some students are handing out the costumes. After getting her costume, Kotori laments that it looks very plain. She asks the other girl if she can change the costume. The girl says that she can since she [girl] doesn’t want to anymore, but only if it can be made scarier, Kotori can alter it in anyway she pleases. Kotori overhears a girl shouting that this type of outfit really makes one excited. Another girl exclaims that she is right, it looks good. “Harada really suits that outfit, as if, it is made just for you.” Harada happily poses with her maid outfit. Kotori just quietly glances at her. Harada then asks if that is Kotori’s outfit. “Ah, speaking of that, you are playing as an ordinary ghost, I forgot. How plain, but then, I feel that it really suits pla~~in Kotori-chan~~” While laughing Harada laughs, Kotori is really frustrated. She decides that she absolutely won’t lose to playing a ghost. Abe calls out to Kotori and tells her that there are a lot of props there and does she want some, like this whip which seems like S&M. Kotori shouts that she wants to use them. Then, she is speechless when Abe asks if she wants a candle. Then, she overhears someone calling out to Yukito who is late. Kotori blushes and thinks that it seems that she has no way of looking at him because she feels a lot more embarrassed than yesterday. Kotori is surprised when someone asks Yukito what happened to his hair, did he dye it back. She turns around to see that Yukito’s hair is light-colored again. Kotori exclaims in surprise about this, as to what happened to his hair. Yukito timidly says that there are some reasons for it and right now, he cannot tell her. This surprises Kotori. Later on, everyone is busy trying out their costumes. They are to go to someone if it doesn’t fit. Holding her costume, Kotori wonders what Yukito meant by ‘cannot tell you right now’. “For Yukito to dye his hair into dark brown, it reminded me of the time when we had a fight.. *shock* Could it be that I made some mistake yesterday? When..when he kissed me yesterday, did I make some strange expression.. Could it be that dyeing his hair into dark brown is a sign that he is angry? And, it seems that he also doesn’t want to talk about it.. Really, what’s going on..” Her thoughts are interrupted when a girl says that Kotori can try out her costume at the toilet or at an empty classroom to see if it fits. Kotori says okay. She sighs and thinks that right now, it’s important to get into the role of a ghost. At the outdoor corridor, Yukito tells Natsume that it is quite rare for her to call him to this place. “So, what’s up?” Natsume apologizes and says that there is some things that she would want to tell him first.
Hehe, and I guess Yukito can pretty much figure out as to who that little demon his brother is talking about especially if Natsume is going to mention Masaya. It seems that Yukito is going to be their ‘bridge’, and for his sake, he better trend careful or he’ll be caught in the middle of those two. =P It’s amusing that Masaya and Natsume cannot take their mind of each other. Well, it’s lots of fun to see Masaya that way and how he bullies Yukito. What Masaya said is true though most of it is probably to tease Yukito. He probably cannot stand that Yukito is happy while he isn’t. ^^; I’m thinking that Yukito dyed his hair like that because he is willing to cosplay for Kotori. Well, it could be other reasons like to ‘restrain himself’ or be the ‘real himself’. Somehow, I think that at the end of this, they will dismiss that promise and just act naturally. Timid Rina approaches the guys and apologizes for the wait. Yuuga asks her if she has already calmed down. Rina says yes. “About that.. Yuuga-kun, I’m sorry for causing so much trouble.. I won’t call you again to talk about things.. nor would I come to see you again.” Surprised Yuuga asks what nonsense she is talking about. Towako shouts not to be deceived by Rina. Pointing at Rina, Towako exclaims, “She is just pretending, like that! Just now, she told me about ‘getting revenge on Yuuga’!” The guys look somewhat surprised and Yuuga looked a bit guilty. Himeno asks what Towako is talking about for Rina won’t say those kinds of stuff. Towako is aghast-shock by that. Rina apologizes and says that a while ago, she told Towako that before she and Yuuga were at loggerheads with each other and right now, she wants to do something to make up their relationship. Sparkling Rina says, “It seems that Towako has misunderstood. I’m sorry, what I’ve said had made it a bit complicated.” Towako is totally shock by this and mutters that isn’t right. Himeno says that it turns out that Towako misunderstood. Yuuga mutters Rina’s name. Rina tells Yuuga not to mind because it is all in the past. “Towako really loves you. *sparkling and kind* She’s just jealous over some other girl, right?” Yuuga looks at aghast Towako, then he blushes and says that she is almost at the line. [<-meaning ‘Ah, it’s okay but don’t cross over the line?’] Towako is shock that Yuuga believed Rina. “Even if I usually like to be jealous.. is this a punishment from heaven?” Rina says that she has to go. Yuuga calls out to her and says that if there is anything up, just call him. Rina mutters his name as if she is touched by his concern. Towako is shock again for Yuuga made a promise [/commitment] to Rina. Rina looks at Towako then whispers to her, “Gambatte. Protect your husband well.” As Rina leaves, Towako is shock as to how did she know that they are married. As Towako goes back to the others, she wonders if Yuuga told Rina. Yuuga and Ritsuki seems to be looking at each other [/or at Towako].
Outside, Himeno goes after Rina and says that he’ll walk her home. Rina keeps on walking and tells him that there is no need because her house is nearby. Himeno tells her not to say it like that and they can chat a bit. To his surprise, Rina tells him that she doesn’t want to involve him so please go far away from her. Himeno stops following her and looks somewhat worried. When she is alone, Rina’s cellphone is ringing. Rina answers it and someone says that it seems everything went smoothly. Rina looks across the street to see Kyousuke on the phone. Kyousuke smiles and tells her that about the doctor she mentioned, he has already arranged for it. That night, Towako is looking at Yuuga’s album. Yuuga, who had just taken a bath, asks her what she is looking at. Towako quickly covers the album and says that it is nothing, she is just wants to look at Yuuga who was in junior high then. Teary-eyed Towako pouts that after that incident, she told Yuuga many times about Rina but he doesn’t believe her. Towako insisted that Rina said those things but Yuuga just said, ya, ya, didn’t she admitted it. End flashback. Towako mentally calls Yuuga an idiot. She is surprised when Yuuga is leaning on her back. He tells her not to be stubborn [/difficult] with him anymore, for didn’t he already apologize. Towako retorts back that she isn’t being difficult and who told him to always side with Rina. She couldn’t answer back when Yuuga asks isn’t she being difficult, being like that. “Before.. I had deeply hurt Rina. So I want her to attain happiness.. If right now, there is anything that I can help her with, I would agree to do it. *Towako wonders if Yuuga truly said before, that he doesn’t want others to see him with Rina, but..* --the past me would absolutely have not think of it, this much. I would never, even be considerate towards other people.. Nor understand this so-called, to like someone. Right now, I know it because I’ve met you.” Towako blushes over this. She turns to look at him and shouts, “What, what! Don’t think that because you said some nice words, it is all over! Today, I had been gravely wronged! Yuuga, you’re a big idiot, huge idiot, colossal idiot..” Yuuga holds her hand and kisses her. Towako thinks that Yuuga is so cunning for he knows that she absolutely cannot get angry. “That’s right.. He’s the only one who can show me that kind of expression--”
Yuuga breaks the kiss and smiles at her. Blushing Towako scowls at him. Holding up both her hands, Towako stubbornly tells him that she said it already, that she won’t just forgive him so let go, for he is going to sleep all by himself tonight. Yuuga tells her not to be like that, let’s sleep together. Towako thinks, “I will definitely protect Yuuga! No matter what kind of method she uses--” At a plastic surgeon clinic, the doctor tells Rina that someone had already informed him about it. “Are you the one who want to have a plastic surgery? In what area are you still unsatisfied..” Holding out a picture of Yuuga, Rina says, “Not me. This face. Can you make it become ugly?” Talk about ‘hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’. So, she got dumped because of her looks and she wants revenge by disfiguring Yuuga. ^^; Rina did change alright..she lost her plain looks in exchange for having a bad character. It does make me think that it is a good thing that Yuuga dumped her. Well, I think the reason why he dumped her like that is because of Himeno. Yuuga probably wants to give her up for Himeno but ended up hurting both of them. Like what Rina mentioned, Yuuga could have not gone out with her if he has problems with her looks. I guess unlike with Towako, Yuuga has not deeply loved Rina so he can insensitively break up with her that way. It’s nice that Towako fully trusts Yuuga and it is a bit unfortunate that Yuuga doesn’t. I guess it is really hard to believe Towako’s accusations because Rina was and is acting like a nice girl. Even Himeno affirms it. Yuuga is already quite repentant of what he did to Rina so he also cannot just believe any bad things about Rina without proof. Hopefully, Himeno also notices that something is up based on what Rina told her. And, it is confirmed that Kyousuke is using Rina to get back at Yuuga. Scans by 17kkmh.com

Then, a male student tells her that someone is looking for her. She looks at the door to see Subaru smiling and waving at her. Shun is surprised when Chitose suddenly stands up and rushes out. Chitose angrily calls out Subaru’s name but Subaru just says hi, it has been a long time. When some girls had noticed Subaru and they are wondering out loud that it seems he is from their school, Chitose decides to bring Subaru somewhere else so that they won’t catch anyone’s attention. Chitose holds Subaru’s arm and tells him to go with her. He asks why but she tells him to shut up. As they walk away, Shun is watching them from the doorway. Behind the school building, Chitose shouts what is this, when she had gone to all of the classrooms trying to look for him. “Weren’t you a fake student of this school!?” Subaru says that she realized it. Chitose exclaims that someone knew him and what if he is found out, this is a huge thing. Subaru happily says that it is alright, he doesn’t go to class. “I’m only borrowing this uniform just to have fun~~” Chitose protests that he isn’t an ordinary person so if he isn’t careful.. Subaru smiles at her and thanks her for worrying about him. Chitose gloomily looks at the side and thinks that is right, why is she foolishly worrying about him? Holding out her hand to him, Chitose shouts, “Enough of that, quickly give it to me. Quick!” Smiling Subaru says, he knows already and he brought it. He gives her a small jar of candies. Holding the jar, Chitose is puzzled. He tells her that it is a return gift from Valentine’s Day because today is White Day. Chitose remembers giving him a heart chocolate last time. Chitose tells him that there is no need to return that gift, for it is just a leftover from the activity, though she’s happy [about this]. Subaru tells her to take it for he specially came there today to give it to her. Looking at the candy, Chitose thanks him and thinks that it looks delicious. She then shouts that’s not right. “It’s not about some return gift! Give my ring back to me!” Subaru says that is right, it is with him. Scratching his head, Subaru apologizes that he forgot to bring it with him. Chitose is shock by this. Trembling, Chitose tells him not to wear it anymore, and just give it back to her. Subaru answers that he isn’t wearing it and it really cannot be helped that he forgot to bring it. “Okay, see you later next time!”
Chitose quickly shouts at him and asks when this next time will be. “For you to be like this, making things really difficult for me, please--” Subaru turns to her and tells her that he thinks that it will be soon. “Go ask your brother and you’ll know!” Chitose is surprised by this. Then she becomes flustered over her helplessness to get the ring back. At the clubroom, Midoriko happily tells Yuki that today is White Day so what did Chitose gave back to him in return. Sweatdropping Yuki answers that he didn’t have it yet. Midoriko lectures him that this isn’t good for it should be given early on. “Quickly go!” Yuki asks if it will be in front of everyone, then it would have been better if he got it early on. Later, Chitose happily gives Yuki a small bag and tells him that it is just ordinary fruit candies. Taking the bag, Yuki thanks her. Midoriko compliments Chitose for being good at choosing gifts. Midoriko ribs Yuki that unlike a certain male high schooler who needs his sister’s help to choose a gift. Embarrassed Yuki shouts so what, he doesn’t know what to give. Looking at Yuki, Midoriko asks him what he gave Saaya then, when they were together. Saaya happily tells Midoriko that before, she is always the one who will decide what Yuki will get for her. “Today, after this, on our way home, Shun will go treat me to eat cake at a cafe that I wanted to go before.” Shun says yes, and like this, it is quite relaxing, for Saaya decides on it. “About that, Kaneshiro. What’s up with that guy early on?” Chitose is surprised while the others shout in disbelief, “Guy!?” Shun continues to say that some unknown guy called her out and when she returned, she is holding what seems to be candies. Midoriko exclaims if Chitose has been confessed to. Nervous Chitose says no, it isn’t so. “That is.. during Valentine’s Day, I had dropped the forms and that guy helped me pick it up. As a thank you gift, I gave him one of the chocolates for the club activity and in the end, he came to give her a return gift.. He’s such a well-mannered guy..” Yuki asks her who that person is. Chitose looks aghast but she lied by saying that she doesn’t know. Midoriko tells Chitose that guy really knows about her that he even went to her classroom. Chitose says that she had told him that she is a member of the Matsuri club. Chitose assures Yuki that guy didn’t confess and he shouldn’t mind it. Yuki says ya, but more or less, he is bothered a bit. Flustered Chitose insists that he doesn’t need to be bothered. “I’m going to give that thing back to him!” Yuki sweatdrops and tells her no, no need to do it to that extent. He smiles and tells her, okay, he doesn’t mind it. Chitose is slightly relieved. Midoriko teases Yuki about still bothered by it but Yuki just tells her not to be annoying. Behind them, Chitose laments over lying to Yuki again.
Deciding that she must quickly do something to resolve this issue, Chitose goes in the living room and calls out to her brother. She asks him if she remembers Subaru, the one in that Moon[/month] 9 program that they watched before. She wasn’t finished talking when Tadashi tells her that Subaru will appear on a television drama this time around. He says that he told her before, about ‘level eleven’ being made into a television drama adaptation. There will be a special broadcast on it for two nights. “He went to the audition, and I’ve always been watching that Moon 9 program. I thought that he is the actor I’m looking for so I gave my recommendation to the filmmaker. He really suits in acting the lead role.” Flustered Chitose holds her brother’s shoulders and shouts for him to please, let her go there [at the set] to look around tomorrow. Tadashi says okay, he’ll ask the filmmaker. After a while, Chitose realizes that this is what Subaru meant about asking her brother. “But, how did he know that my brother is Mikami Yui [Tadashi’s pen name]? What is his business at Haisawa [school]? What..kind of person is he?” The next day, serious Chitose walks to the set to where Subaru is sitting. Holding a script, Subaru comments that he told her to come and she really came. Chitose says of course. He tells her that it’s good that she came right now because he is still waiting for the filming of the next scene. He asks her if she came together with Yui-sensei. Chitose says yes. Standing up to walk away, Subaru asks where he is, he would want to meet him. Chitose holds his arm and tells him to stop talking nonsense and just give back her ring. She is shock when he asks, “Ring?” Holding up the ring to her, Subaru says that he is just kidding. “Is this it?” Chitose is relieved, that finally.. Subaru looks at her then to Chitose’s utter shock, he tosses the ring into his mouth. Chitose shouts if he ate it. Subaru sticks out his tongue with the ring and says, how could he. Flustered and clenching her fist, Chitose shouts what he meant by that. “Up to.. Do not tease me anymore! Quickly give it back!” Pulling Chitose to him, Subaru says, “..Okay, if you use your mouth to get it, then I’ll give it back to you.” Chitose is stunned as she wonders what he just said. “He is just kidding, right?” Loosening his hold on her arm, Subaru tells her to be quick or else he’s going to eat it. Chitose tells him to wait. After a pause, flustered Chitose says that she still cannot do such a thing. Subaru tells her that then, he won’t return it.
He turns away to leave but Chitose calls out to him. He stops and asks her what she is going to do. Chitose thinks that she hates doing this kind of thing. “But, that is the first gift that Yuki gave to me. Definitely..I definitely have to get it back--” Chitose looks determined and walks toward Subaru. She tells herself that it is just a little bit so she only has to bear with it a bit. Flustered Chitose is about to kiss Subaru when she quickly turns away and exclaims, “No! I cannot do it!” Subaru asks her if she doesn’t want it anymore. Chitose angrily shouts, no. “How could I not want it! Why are you bullying me like this? If no matter what, you do not want to return it, then it is inevitable. I’ll just tell him the truth and apologize! *pointing at Subaru* Do not come back to our school! Idiot!!” To her surprise, Subaru suddenly grabs her hand. He leans towards her and kisses her. After being caught by surprise, Chitose breaks away from him. She holds her mouth and finds the ring inside. Subaru tells her that he also no longer needs that thing. Teary-eyed Chitose looks at him then runs off. Holding the ring, Chitose thinks that Subaru is just too mean. “Why? Why is he treating me this way? How depressing!” She then passes by a light-colored wavy haired girl. The wavy haired girl asks Subaru if that girl earlier is from Haisawa. Subaru calls out to the girl as, Alicia Amika [<- invented name from 亞未伽 = ‘Ya wei jia’]. Amika tells Subaru not to have a dispute with a girl at the workplace for it will be problematic if someone saw it. Subaru says that no one saw it and anyway, even if it was seen, so what. Amika says that it seems that poor girl is crying. Unrepentant Subaru says that it is her fault for who told her to go steady with that kind of guy. At her bedroom, Chitose has polished her ring clean. She is pleased with the results. Remembering Subaru, she thinks that no matter what, she got the ring back and she should just forget what happened today. “That’s right! Saaya said before that it isn’t a big deal if I got kissed by someone else other than the person I like! Aside from Yukito, I did it with Saaya, Kanata, Midoriko and Akaishi-kun! *pause* All of the club members.. *gloomy* Now that I think of it in detail, what the heck am I doing..” Her cellphone rings and it is a message from Yuki. He wrote that his sister bought pudding so does she want to eat it together with him[/them]. Chitose writes back that she will go and wait for her outside.
Chitose goes out and immediately hugs Yuki tight. He asks her what’s up. She tells him that she had encountered something awful so give her a change of mood. Yuki asks what this awful thing. Chitose tells him that it is no big deal. “Just hug me tight and I’ll be able to cheer up..” Yuki hugs her and asks if it is like this. Chitose smiles and says yes. As they walk to his house, Chitose tells him that she thinks that it is better that she wear the ring everyday. “I will be careful, and would absolutely not lose it!” Yuki smiles and says, ya. Chitose smiles back. As they hold each other’s waists, Chitose tells him that she likes pudding for it is soft and yet a bit hard. At school, Chitose angrily hopes for Subaru not to come back because she doesn’t want to see him again. Narration: “--Is it because I prayed? Afterwards, he didn’t come back to our school. He also didn’t come during the graduation performance. *The girls are in gowns and it seems that they are responsible for celebrating and sending the third year students off* Basically, I think he will come, and I’m a bit worried! After the closing ceremony, everyone went together to Disneyland to see Mickey and Minnie. Then, Midoriko said..” Midoriko tells Chitose that she heard that ‘level eleven’ will be adapted into a television drama. Chitose freezes while Yuki asks if it is true. Chitose stutters in saying, is that so, she isn’t very sure. Midoriko mentions that she eagerly anticipates it and Subaru, who is playing the lead role, suits that high school era. She also comments that the person acting the other role is also cute. Chitose is nervous when Saaya says that it seems that she has heard this Subaru name before. “Where could have I heard it? I forgot.” Chitose is semi-relieved yet anxious. Narration: “During Spring break, I’m always together with Yuki-kun everyday. I’m so happy-- I had totally forgotten about that Subaru issue. And soon, it is another new school year.” At the clubroom, Midoriko welcomes everyone and says that right now, there are students who are going to join their club. “Of course, it’s first year students! And there will be two of them!” Shun says that is quite fast when they haven’t advertised about it yet. Chitose happily says that is great, the more members, the more help they can get. Chitose’s happiness is short lived when Midoriko introduced their new members as the two lead actors of ‘level eleven’. “They are Satou [佐藤; gueswork] Amika-chan and Subaru-kun of first year acting division!” Chitose is totally shock that she drops her pen. Subaru happily smiles and says, “Nice to meet you, I’ll be under your care!” Narration: “Enemies are bound to meet on a narrow road--” [<- idiom meaning unavoidable conflict]
Hehe..Subaru is bordering in becoming a stalker for researching on Chitose’s background and following her to the school. ^^; Hm..somewhat like what Chitose did for Yuki before. ^^;; Chitose should have just told Yuki about the ring so that she won’t get into this kind of situation. Oh well, it is for the plot and just like bk1 tagged, if it weren’t for him, there doesn’t seem anything else to look forward to in this series. Chitose’s premonitions came true when she figured that he might transfer to their school because of his uniform and he will be back soon. I guess she didn’t except him to join the club. So that makes only Amika who hasn’t kissed her. =P I’m happy that Chitose didn’t dwell too much on that kiss..probably as she mentioned of kissing everyone else already. It seems that things are moving fast that the author totally skipped whatever lovey-dovey there could be during the spring vacation. ^^; So, it is pretty much confirmed that Subaru has a grudge with Yuki and he’s really despicable to pick on the girlfriend rather Yuki. Because he turns out to be a year younger than them, I already have a hunch who he is. I think he is Misaki’s younger brother. The hair color is even the same and the timing of his appearance. I think the older brother had told him about meeting with Yuki and what’s up with Yuki right now. If the older brother wants to move on, I think Subaru hasn’t. The motive is probably because Misaki loves Saaya but Yuki took her away. Hm..unless, it is something else. Of course, I’m hoping that this will somehow get Yuki to show more personality than what he is now like showing an angry expression. It does feel kind of weird at how Yuki is so obedient that he just does whatever the girlfriend says. Of course, I think he will also easily forgive Chitose about lying to him about the ring. As for Shun, I wonder if it is just out of concern or jealousy that he has to ask Chitose about ‘that guy’ in front of everyone. About the gift, it does make me wonder which is nicer, to be told what one wants or to surprise the other with something that one may or may not like. The man got scared and denies that he knows something. Just when he is going out, Houen, who is waiting by the door, tells him that it is still too early to leave. Smiling Gikou tells the man, “Sit down, for weren’t you an expert regarding ‘rumors about the Queen Consort’?” Shisei smiles and says, “If that is so, then I also want to listen attentively.” The man looked terribly scared. Back to Yuulin and others, Reishou tells Yuulin that those guys would not let anyone to harm them or their family. “Even if they would often quarrel, they will completely crush any enemies. If that Chancellor Ryu really wanted to attack the king’s doted Queen Consort, he won’t do it in such an incomplete way. If he would come, he will definitely come and do it thoroughly.” Yuulin shudders at that thought especially since Reishou said it so confidently. Reishou tells Jun to take the assassins away for investigation. Jun says yes, and calls out to Dai to confirm things. After they left, Yuulin feels uneasy of this stinging painful relationship whrein Reishou is treating all of this as something normal. Semi-bowing, Suigetsu appears and tells Reishou that if he needs manpower, he will go arrange for some. “—Her Highness has suddenly come to visit and regarding the family’s guards’ instructions and so on, as to what had happened here, I have decided that it is better not to let Kouju handle it. I will be responsible for whatever had happened here tonight. ..Please give your instructions.” Reishou commends Suigetsu’s for his skill. “Then, there is only one thing I ask. You are to make what happened tonight as ‘something that no one knows nor had seen’. Suigetsu answers that it will be as he instructed, everything that happened tonight, will be handled as if ‘nothing has happened’. Yuulin looks surprised at how calmly Suigetsu has handled this situation, even if he is afraid of the Wolf King. She said it too soon because Suigetsu is already trembling and his eyes look dead. Suigetsu has returned to his original state of fear. Reishou says that it is a good opportunity but until when does Suigetsu plan to live in seclusion. Aghast and trembling, Suigetsu tells him that it is already until now but he would want to try, up to when he can do it. Yuulin is freaking out because that is not the right answer. “He’s angry. He’s angry. The Wolf King is furious! This is not good!! If this continues on, he will be more afraid of going back to his post!” Yuulin nervously tells Reishou that even if Suigetsu is a bit weird but he is a good person. Suigetsu looks surprised over what Yuulin is saying for him. Yuulin continues to say that while she is there, Suigetsu play music for her and it is so good, that it calms her. “That’s right, that’s right, *smiles* He also knows the Spring Banquet quite well.” Yuulin is mentally waving in her hopes to temporarily shoo away the angry mood.
To her shock, angry Reishou glares at Suigetsu and says, “..the two of you are quite close, huh.” While she is wondering why, Yuulin clings on to Reishou who is darkly glaring at Suigetsu whose soul has already come out, in fright. =P Yuulin exclaims, “No, it isn’t like that. He was talking with Ryu Houen then.. (Wai..wait a minute, why, why!? How come you’re getting more furious than you were a while ago?) The two of them had a very good idea. *nervous* It’s really amazing! Even if he wasn’t assuming his post, he can even compete together with that Ryu Houen in talking about it. (Please, Your Wolf Majesty, repress a bit that angry mood. He definitely needs this chance.) *Reishou silently looks at Yuulin who tightly grabs his sleeve* Those two sides can bring about a very good Spring Banquet and--” Reishou sighs and looks towards Suigetsu. Reishou says, “Han Suigetsu, before, I had heard of your contribution.. There are a lot of people who were praising your capability. *smiles* To be able to make the Queen Consort pay attention to your outstanding [ability], I would also want to see it for myself.” Surprised Suigetsu says, “I’m truly honored-- Your Majesty--” After some days, due to Chancellor Ryu and Chancellor Han consolidated testimony and evidence, the king managed to uncover the true mastermind who plotted the ‘assassination of the Queen Consort’. The man has been captured and Jun comments that those two worked fast on this. And very soon, this thing regarding the attack on the Queen Consort has been quickly resolved. Then, the other problem left is who will be in charge of the Spring Banquet. At the throne room, both Chancellors are called to Reishou’s presence. They ask Reishou why the Queen Consort is also at this place. Reishou smiles and says, “The Spring Banquet is also a flower banquet so my harem’s flower has also some opinion that she wants to say.” This surprises both Chancellors that they put on their best ‘pretend’ smile and ask Yuulin to say out what she has to say for they would want to listen to it. Yuulin tenses up for she felt their electrifying aura towards her. Yuulin nervously thinks that the people around Reishou are people whom one, would not know what their hearts [/minds] are thinking.
Putting on a smile, Yuulin tells them that undoubtedly, if the position is given to either of them, it will become a very beautiful Spring Banquet but a few days ago, she got an opportunity in encountering a meeting between those two. “And, I thought, for this Spring Banquet, how about letting both Ryu Houen-kun and Han Suigetsu-kun be in charge of it.” Gikou and Shisei are surprised that it will be their children who’ll handle it. Yuulin smiles and says, yes, because those two had a concrete plan for the Spring Banquet. “Ryu Houen mentioned about firm security and safety type [of banquet] while Han Suigetsu mentioned of beautiful and elegant type. These two things, are necessary for the people to admire [/appreciate] His Majesty’s Spring Banquet--.. Unlike their fathers, those two young men are not accustomed to handling this kind of assignment so those two will mutually help each other. Assisting in the other’s deficiency. There will be no competition nor arguing. It will only be unity in a common effort for His Majesty’s Spring Banquet. *Chancellors look surprised while Reishou smiles* ..that way, it will definitely become a showing off His Majesty’s Spring [/Youthful] strength, as well as, for it to become a very beautiful thing. That is what I thought.” At the harem, aghast Yuulin mutters if that is okay. Her heart is beating fast. She tells Reishou that fundamentally, it is sudden thought. There is a scene of Yuulin bluntly told Reishou of this and that while Reishou attentively listened. Reishou smiles and says that he thinks that it is a very good idea which he dubbed as ‘Idea of the Kind Queen Consort in thinking of His Wolf Majesty’. He wearily tells her that even if those two [chancellors] might be thinking of something [when they are speechless then] but occasionally, they will restrain themselves and compromise. Yuulin sweatdrops and thinks that Reishou has accumulated a lot of exhaustion.
Reishou smiles at her and says that lately, Suigetsu is also reporting to work and he is going to make Suigetsu do the work which he left while on vacation. Yuulin thinks that is right, after that night, Suigetsu has been stealthily going back to work and she even got praised by Jun. Jun had asked puzzled Yuulin as to how she managed to convince Suigetsu and she did quite well. Yuulin wonders if there is a way for Suigetsu to [work] together with that serious Houen. She lets go of that thought and thinks that this way, it is peaceful again that she also successfully returned to her duty. She is surprised when timid Puppy Reishou asks her if things are really okay on her side. “Afraid.. of the Wolf King.. something.. even if talking about it right now is.. About work.. can you properly do it..?” Yuulin looks at dejected Puppy Reishou and thinks that he is afraid because he bit her and she ran away. Flustered Yuulin shouts, “No..it’s already alright! I have totally calmed down! *tense waving* It is just a feeling of total shock like being bitten by the wolf. Really-- I really won’t waver that much [anymore]..” Narration: “Running away to escape.. In the end, wasn’t able to escape. The bride had brought back a secret.” Yuulin exclaims, “From today on, I will have a really huge awareness in doing this ‘temporary bride’ job! So, Your Majesty, there is no need to worry and you can go on and do that ‘Wolf King’ acting! I will do my best!” To her surprise, Wolf Reishou holds her hand to him and says, “--..if only you can be like this [and stay] by my side.” This made Yuulin blush really red. She thinks, “Because I want to do my best ..I want to continue [this] so please do not notice..” Trembling, Yuulin says, “This...this quick you want to test me!? I won’t run away! I’m not escaping!” Smiling Reishou sweatdrops and tells her not to force herself. Yuulin shouts that she isn’t. Narration: “The ‘bride’ has already fallen for the ‘Wolf King’”.
Hehe, that indeed resolves the two main problems in this arc. Just as I suspected, the culprit couldn’t have been Gikou. He shouldn’t be that dumb. Just like what Reishou suspected, Gikou can do it completely if he wanted to kill Yuulin. Of course, that includes not letting the assassins know who the real mastermind is. That man is foolish to try to frame the two chancellors. If someone like Reishou handles those two foxes very carefully, what more someone below the king. Hence, those two teamed up in ‘crushing’ the plot of that man. I think those two are really scary for they are plotting something bad and saying scary things with a smile. If they are scary with good guys like Yuulin, what more for those who make them as their enemies? =P The Suigetsu part is really amusing. Poor him, Yuulin unintentionally made Reishou jealous of him. =P It took her a long time to realize her own feelings so I think it would take a much longer time for her to realize that Reishou also loves her. ^^; Well, she did great in this chapter. I’m glad that the author made Yuulin to have a more useful role here given her position in this kind of genre, rather than just ‘sit there and be just a love partner, and then make the male lead do everything else’. She got Suigetsu back to work, made a Solomonic decision regarding who will be in charge of the banquet and got Jun to praise her. Hm..it does seem a bit too idealistic that those two will easily work together because of their contrasting views but well, just like Yuulin said, both ideals are needed for the banquet..and since they are young, they might be a bit open-minded than their fathers. Perhaps she can act as a referee for those two. Ah wait..that might make Reishou jealous =P Amusingly, Yuulin can somewhat deal with angry Wolf Reishou but she is weak against the lovey-dovey Wolf Reishou. ^^ Scans by 狼陛下汉化組.

Infuriated, Eros decides to threaten her about being conscious since he is a normal guy. He suddenly pins her on the bed and asks if she needs him to show her proof. Lele bravely tells him that she isn’t afraid. Eros is surprised when she told him that what he is doing won’t work anymore. Whether it is that ‘fake lovers’ thing or what happened at ‘Zac’, he is doing all that to push her away. She tells him that she already knows and it is okay if he doesn’t want to accept her, but she can no longer deceive her own heart. “I like you! Even if you are a bastard, I still like you!” This unnerves Eros that he let go of her and shouts if she has gone mad. He has never met such a thick faced woman who would confess as if her life depends on it, even if she has been rejected. Lele sternly tells him that she just told him that he only needs to know it and she isn’t forcing him to accept it. Flustered Eros calls her an idiot and what the heck is she saying. Eros sweatdrops when Lele tells him that it is strange for she was the one, who confessed and got rejected so how come he is feeling uneasy, is he feeling guilty. She tells him to relax for she was the one wanted to take care of him and there’s no need for him to be feel burdened. She sweetly asks him what he would want to eat. Three days later, Leo is totally shock at how awful Lele looked. Lele calls Eros bad names and about underestimating him. Leo asks her what Eros did. It turns out that Eros is acting like some spoiled brat by keep on ordering her around to clean the house and do all sorts of chores, even to just open the television or give him a glass of water, in the middle of the night. Lele shouts that she’s sure that Eros is deliberately doing all that. Leo puts his hand on her shoulder to comfort and empathize with her. Soon, her cellphone is ringing. It is Eros asking where she is, and she should be in front of him within 5 minutes. He wants her to give him some hand cleaning soap in the bathroom and claims to not be able to get it from where she told him to because he is weak. After hanging up, Lele doesn’t believe he is weak if he can get angry that much. Leo suggests that she go back.
Upon return, she finds him sleeping on the sofa. She wonders if he is really weak. After refilling the liquid soap[?], Lele looks at Eros again and wonders if he is trying to make her leave by treating her that way but sorry, she has a very high endurance. Later on, she watches him sleep and thinks that he is still sleeping after she finished her chores. She is surprised when Eros is talking in his sleep by calling out to his mother to ‘stop’/ ‘no’. Lele lightly slaps his face to wake him up for he is having a nightmare. Eros wakes up and looks awful that she asks him if he is okay. He asks her if she heard. She tells him that he is calling out ‘mama’ many times and it seems like a nightmare so does he wants to talk about it. Eros starts to shout that he is hungry and he wants Nathan’s Hot dog. Aghast, Lele protests that it is already 10pm and it will be closed by the time she arrived. Eros shouts for her to get there in less than an hour and buy it for him. He kicks out protesting Lele out of the house. Later on, Lele got lost because she only ate at that place once. She cries if that guy is sick for doesn’t he know how dangerous New York is at night and yet he made a weak girl to buy him something. Then, she asks someone where is Nathan’s Hot dog store. It is already around 11:25 pm and Eros thinks that Lele should have come back by now. Then, it is already 12:35am. Eros is becoming nervous as to where she went. He remembers the time in Japan when crying Lele told him that she got lost. Soon, Eros rushes outside to look for her. The restaurant should already be closed. After running around, Eros starts to vent his frustration and anger on the wall. He is surprised when someone calls out to him. Holding a paper bag, Lele exclaims that it is really him, she thought she is seeing things. She asks him how he got out. Eros suddenly grabs her hand and calls her an idiot for what time is it, why did it take her such a long time to buy hotdogs and he is already hungry to death. Lele apologizes and says that it is because she asked a Taiwanese woman for directions. The woman is very passionate that she even showed her the way and also the store that she opened. Lele nervously asks if she should have refused. Lele is surprised when Eros suddenly hugged her tight. He tells her that it is her fault that he is hungry and has no strength. Lele apologizes again and says that she’ll help him go back home. He tells her that she should have called so that he won’t be foolishly waiting for her. Lele says that her cellphone ran out of batteries. As Eros calls her idiot again, Lele wonders if he is really worried about her since he is hugging her really, really tight. Sitting at the train, Eros is leaning on Lele’s shoulder. She wonders if he really has no strength but she is feeling a bit nervous. She tries to push him away so that she won’t blur between illusions and reality. She is surprised when Eros asks her if she believes that if a person becomes crazy, the person will selectively lose one’s memories. Eros tells her that when her mother got sick, she forgot about him. She obviously had two children but she only remembers Long/Angus. According to medical books, it is an ‘ego protecting mechanism’ so it is about choosing beautiful memories and losing the painful ones. But, she only remembers Long and ‘that man’ took Long away. She cannot see him [Eros] who is always by her side. It has become his nightmare that he cannot break free from. He totally couldn’t understand it that it made him the world’s loneliest person in the world. So, the happy memories of the past have no meaning to him. The moment she forgot about him, what’s left of his life is just a blank. He asks her if she knows the feeling of being forgotten by one’s most beloved and most trusted person. Lele looks tense and flustered by this. Next chapter teaser: Lele is shock by what Eros’ confessed and it makes her heart ache more. It also made her become determined to find the antidote to stop Eros’ ‘forever nightmare’. Next chapter will be out on October 5th..I think..it’s quite blurry ^^;
So, Lele is making a huge progress with Eros. He finally opened up to her. Gambatte Lele. You are getting there. ^^ Lele has really become stronger and she finally confessed to him again in his face. Talk about unconditional love so Eros is wavering. =P Hehe, the possibility of losing her is also another factor. ^^ Well, this chapter is fun and the possibility of the two becoming a couple by the end of the arc seems high ^^ Scans by Blacknight for BW. While walking out, Fumino asks her when she is due. Shoma’s mother says, next week, and she’s happy that it is a girl. Then, Fumino overhears Ryuu calling out to her and says that Kazuma is there, they can go eat. Upon seeing Ryuu with Kazuma, Fumino wonders if Kazuma doesn’t have plans to introduce her to his family. Shoma’s mother blushes and suddenly screams that it is Kazuma. Kazuma is surprised to see her. Since Ryuu asked about it, Kazuma introduces Shoma’s mother to Ryuu. Kazuma and others are speechless when Ryuu suggests that Shoma’s mother to come and eat with them. Soon, beneath a tree, where a picnic blanket is spread, Shoma’s mother praises Kazuma’s cooked food. She happily eats Kazuma’s hand made onigiri and says that she is so happy that she feels like giving birth. Kazuma becomes nervous as to what kind of praise is that. He then calls Fumino as ‘Kaji-chan’ to help him bring a water jug. Shoma’s mother asks why they are all gathered there, are they friends. After some hesitation, Kazuma tells her that Ryuu is his neighbor, and Fumino is his student who lives with Ryuu. Fumino realizes that since Kazuma called her ‘Kaji-chan’ and how he explained his relationship with her to Shoma’s mother, Kazuma plans to keep it a secret. Then, Teppei has dirtied his shirt from eating hamburger. Fumino quickly grabs him and shouts that she’ll clean Teppei up. Regarding the siblings, Shoma’s mother muses that their relationship is really good. She apologizes to Kazuma for not personally telling him that she is pregnant. She is flustered when Kazuma tells her that it is okay because he is no longer a part of the Ojiro family. Shoma’s mother says that it has already been 10 years and surely, the feelings are not the same anymore between him and his father. While she is cleaning Teppei’s shirt by the sink, Fumino is shock when one of the boys suddenly kick the soccer ball towards Shoma’s mother and Kazuma. Shoma’s mother is in shock to see it coming at them but Kazuma pulls her to him to protect her and fiercely catches the ball. He throws the ball back to the boys who apologize. Fumino and Kazuma ask if Shoma’s mother is okay. Shoma’s mother says that she is okay, thank you for the concern but she was really shock that she feels that the baby is coming out. Then, Kazuma and others were in shock. =P Kazuma starts freaking out. He is holding a cellphone and shouting about calling an ambulance. Fumino tells Kazuma not to fret. She asks Shoma’s mother if it hurts. She replies that it hurts a bit. Fumino orders Ryuu to go and hail a taxi cab. She tells Kazuma to help up and support his mother. In the taxi, she calls for the driver to drive straight to the hospital.
At the hospital, Fumino says that it is good that they arrive there before the second stage [= pushing stage]. Shoma’s mother thanks her and says that she is amazing for knowing a lot. Fumino tells her that it is because she has a younger brother. When Teppei is going to be born, it is quite chaotic since they have to go back and forth at the hospital. Her mother would say that she is going to give birth but upon arriving at the hospital, the doctor will say that it is still ‘too early’ then, when they get home, her mother will say that she is going to give birth. End Flashback. Fumino says that even if it is chaotic, it is quite happy = seeing her baby brother. Shoma’s mother smiles and says that it is such a bliss to add another member to the family. Kazuma looks a bit flustered and thoughtful. Teppei tells Shoma’s mother to ‘gambatte’ and she thanks him. Later on, Shoma and Meg have arrived. Ryuu was the one who fetched them. Upon seeing Fumino, Shoma suddenly turns beet red and exclaims why all of a sudden. [<- because of what happened in the last chapter] Fumino says that it is good that he is there since just now, she plans to contact him. She informs him that his mother is now in the delivery room. Shoma and Fumino look a bit tense when Kazuma asks if ‘he’ is coming. Shoma says if he is referring to their father, well, he just contacted him and he is currently at an overseas trip. Kazuma just says, is that so. Carrying a bag of his mother’s things, Shoma thanks them for bringing his mother to the hospital and they should first leave before his father arrive. Fumino thinks about ‘he’ and a secret that she doesn’t know. Kazuma says okay and they are going ahead. Just when he is going out of the door, a nurse comes in and asks Kazuma if he is Emma’s family member. Kazuma says no. The nurse says that Emma got into a dangerous stage so they need to operate on her. They need a relative to sign the consent to operate. Shoma is badly stunned by that, so he doesn’t move even if Meg urges him to go. To their surprise, Kazuma quickly gives Shoma a hug and tells him that it will be alright. “Mama will be okay!” Holding Shoma’s hand, Kazuma tells the nurse that they will quickly go. Shoma seems to be wiping his tears. The nurse asks if he is the husband. Kazuma smiles and says, no, he is the eldest son of the family.
Then, they all nervously wait outside the operating room. Fumino thinks, “Right, sensei. Meeting each other. Knowing each other. Being interdependent. That is.. fate’s bonds. A family member will forever be a family member--” Then, they all are relieved to hear the baby cry. While their mother is resting, the brothers talk while looking at their baby sister at the baby ward. Kazuma says that it was a Caesarian-section. Shoma affirms it and says that even if their mother looks young but she is actually quite old to have a baby so, she is at high risk. Kazuma says that it is good that everything is alright with their mother. Shoma says that he didn’t expect for him to say that he is the eldest son. Kazuma laughs and says that it is all of a sudden. Kazuma admits to him that he had been soul searching that the grudge between him and his father, has no relation to his new born child. “..it has nothing to do with this child. *holds Shoma’s shoulder* Shoma, it also has nothing to do with you. Up until now, I’m sorry.” Flustered Shoma takes Kazuma’s hand off him and shouts what he is talking about. Kazuma asks if he is crying. Shoma denies this. Narration: “You’re the one who taught me..to go and cherish..” Kazuma walks back to see Fumino buying some drinks from the vending machine. Fumino asks him if he went to see his baby sister. Kazuma smiles at her then suddenly hugs her tenderly. He asks her, “Fumino. ..Am.. I able to give you happiness?” This made Fumino blush. After looking around to see no one is there, she slightly lowers his head and kisses him on the forehead. Looking straight at his eyes, Fumino says, “..of course!” Narration: “This worthy of pride’s precious fate. I found it and will treasure it throughout my life. I will make you happy.” Later on, a car is parked outside the hospital. Emma wakes up and someone asks her if she is okay. Waving, Emma says that she is and did he go to see the baby. He says that he did. He is surprised when she said that today, Kazuma has always been helping her. The man asks, “Kazuma..?” Emma exclaims, “Geez-- You're son! And also..together with his cute student.” While Fumino is walking ahead, Kazuma tells her to say it again. Embarrassed Fumino calls him an idiot. She tells him that Ryuu and Teppei, are already waiting for them at the car. Narration: “I will properly protect you--” The next day, Fumino is shock over a list of names which mostly means ‘won’t stop [and just came out]’ or ‘being pulled out’. Emma says that those are the baby’s names and she is choosing which one would be good. Shoma asks Fumino to make his mother stop that.
And, I guess this is setting up the future reconciliation of Kazuma and his father though..would it happen smoothly or some bumps before that? Since it is mentioned repeatedly, I think the ‘secret’ of the two being married will be revealed soon to Kazuma’s parents..or rather, Emma because I think their father already knows about it. I’m expecting a touching scene when Kazuma finally introduces Fumino officially as his wife to his parents. =P Hm..it seems that the issue between Shoma and Fumino is being put at the side for now. I do wonder if it will be mentioned again because I think the focus will be different from now on..because of the father’s appearance. Standing in front of the two, Shinobu seriously asks them to speak up, what they want. Xiang asks Shinobu to please give Shiori to them, and the reason for that is because they are searching for the ‘world’s no. 1 ojousama’. “She’s filled with mercy and purity, her whole body is emitting a divine and stately brilliance.. Upon laying my eyes on her for the first time, I believe it without a doubt. She is the one whom we are searching for.. Even if, until now, we have already seen multiple numbers of ojousama, they cannot be even mentioned on equal terms with Shiori-ojousama. She’s simply perfect.. so, please, definitely give Shiori-ojousama to us. *Shinobu chuckles* What are you laughing at?” Shinobu apologizes for his rudeness. He tells them that he admires their good eye [/opinion on things] especially since they are quite young. “But, you guys still do not know your manners. So be prepared to accept your punishment, okay?” Xiang comments that Shinobu is going to depend on violence. Fei says that the enemy is only one, so they’ll win. Just when they are about to attack, Shiori wrapped in a blanket, comes out and asks if they have guests. The two blushes a bit as they call out to Shiori. Shinobu tells her that it is the two youngsters who assisted her in ascending the train. “They had specially come here to visit and see you.” Shiori giggles and says that she is happy to be able to see them again. “Rihito-san, treat our two guests properly.” Shinobu looks slyly at the two and says, “As you wish.” Fei looks defensive while Xiang looks surprised. Walking towards the two, Shinobu asks Shiori to sing a song for their two guests. Shiori smiles and says that is right, as a way of welcoming them. Letting go of the blanket which convenient wraps around her lower naked body, Shiori starts to sing. Shinobu takes out his scalpel and attacks the two boys. Shinobu thinks that those two are the ones who made that train explode. “I won’t ask the reason [of their search], nor am I interested in it. No matter how many people dies, it doesn’t matter. ..but then, you guys do not know the immensity of heaven and earth. Suddenly having such an absurd thought of taking Shiori-ojousama from my side-- That’s--” Shinobu mutters, “A mortal sin.”
Shinobu pushes Xiang down for the final blow but Xiang shouts, “No..stop--” This made Shiori stop singing. As the bandage from her eyes falls down, she asks if they do not like her singing. While towering over Xiang, Shinobu tells her no, she had misunderstood. “For who in this world, would not like Shiori-ojousama’s song? He is only.. *Shinobu slashes Xiang’s right eye as Fei tries to go to him* ..enchanted by your singing voice.” While Xiang is holding his bleeding right eye, Shiori smiles and says is that so, then she is relieved. “Rihito-san, after you send off the two guests, come back to my room. ..let us continue what we are doing just now. Hihi” Shinobu says, “As you wish.” Xiang tells them that there is no need to see them out. While Shinobu and Shiori look at his direction, Xiang says that there is only one question that he would want to ask Shiori. “For you, so-called ‘happiness’.. the ‘happiness’ within your heart..what is it..” In her naked glory, Shiori answers him, “To be with Rihito-san everyday, to be with Rihito-san every second, to be with Rihito-san’s love, to be with Rihito-san’s..everything. Except for that, everything is meaningless filth. It would have been better if all other things just disappear.” Xiang is speechless surprised by it. Fei laments that once again, they were mistaken. “Does the ojousama we seek truly exists?” Shinobu praises Xiang as amazing, for enduring the pain from the wound. “As a reward, I’ll give you a glass eye for you to wear. ..oh that’s right, that’s right.. I know of someone who is very much like you guys. Right now, he and ‘the world’s number 1 ojousama’ in his mind, are living together.” Xiang looks surprised and asks, “..where is he?” Shinobu smiles and says, “Okay, I’ll tell you guys. Both of you have high prospects. As a ‘butler’, this kind of fantastic living creature..” There is a scene of a S butler button.
Ah..such obsessive love. Shinobu and Shiori are perfect examples of ‘who cares about anything else, as long as we are together’. And they probably are making love all night. =P It seems that Shinobu tends to deceive to satisfy Shiori’s delusion so I think that they are really suited for each other. I guess Xiang and Fei are still naive or rather, didn’t do their research well. Well, they did say that they are in a hurry that they underestimated how good Shinobu is in fighting and what he did in order to finally have Shiori all to himself. In short, they picked on the wrong butler. About the train, I wonder if the two plotted to kill Shinobu with it then kidnap Shiori, but failed. If it succeeded, it won’t end well either because they don’t know how obsessed Shiori is with Rihito. It would be a lose-lose situation. Well, this explains why Xiang’s hair always covers his right eye. I thought that it is just a hairstyle ^^; I wonder if it is some sort of revenge on Rihito that Shinobu ‘sent’ those two to him. Of course, those two are going to cause troubles and I don’t think Rihito can do what Shinobu did to those guys to ‘get rid of them’. She is puzzled when Yukito is pouting his lips to her. To her surprise, Yukito says that it is a promise kiss. Pushing his face from her, Kotori exclaims how they can do that in this place and what if Abe and others see them. She then apologizes. Yukito suggests that they do a pinkie promise then. They locked their little fingers. Yukito widely grins over this, while Kotori wonders if this is really okay. Kotori goes to her bedroom. She pats Kenken then jumps into bed. To his surprise, Kotori hugs the pillow and starts rolling sideways on the bed. After she stops, Human Kenken pats Kotori’s head and asks her what happened. She tells him that she made a promise with him..agreement with Yukito to do H. Kenken goes into shock. After recovering, Kenken asks if she will carry it out. Kotori says, ya. Holding her shoulders, Kenken asks if she is serious. Kotori admits that she is a bit afraid but after hearing what Yukito said, she thinks that he really is thinking of her. “Even if he said it so bluntly that it shocks me but at most, I’m happy.. so I wanted to return Yukito’s feelings.. Ab..about that, honestly speaking, it isn’t to say that I’m not interested at all, it’s just that I’m overly concerned at all aspects. But that is because of Yukito, right.. if it isn’t Yukito, I fundamentally won’t go think [of these things].. at that time, I felt that Yukito is really good.. Am..Am I too naive? In thinking this way..” Kenken smiles and says that is right, she is very naïve. “But, if you really think that, if you really want to do that kind of thing, then go do it.. but until then, if you only have a little bit of confusion, just stop.. because if you aren’t conscious of [/ready for] it, *touches Kotori’s face* the one who will be hurt afterwards, is you..” Kotori holds his hand and thanks Kenken. Later on, Kenken is drinking sake on ice. [Lol] Kotori is already sleeping. Kenken smiles then muses that his [Yukito] reaction is quite stronger than he had imagined. “Regarding that thing between me and Kotori.. in the end, already make a firm decision, right? That guy.. right now, he definitely has a foolish smile..” Dog Kenken looks glum while lying on the floor.
At school, Yukito is smiling by the window. <- Note says, guy with a foolish smile. =P Abe and friend look at Yukito who is smiling and giggling by himself. Abe asks him what it is, for he looks really happy. With a silly smile plastered on his face, Yukito says that it is nothing and he knows his [Abe] feeling of wanting to know but right now, he has to keep it a secret. Abe sweatdrops and tells him to forget it. Walking away with his friend, Abe wonders out loud what’s up with Yukito, and that guy is really scary, could some omen be happening. Abe’s friend tells him not to mind Yukito and maybe he got such a huge blow. [<- thus acting strange] Yukito is rejoicing, “Finally.. finally with Kotori! Yes~~~ After the cultural festival.. I pray that it will be a good weather by then--” <-Note says that it has nothing to do with it. =P Then, Yukito notices Kotori, together with Natsume, walking towards him. Blushing Yukito says, hello. Blushing Kotori says, hi. After a pause and watching the two, Natsume asks Kotori what happened. Blushing Kotori denies that something had happened. Blushing Yukito also tells her that nothing shocking had happened. Natsume still feels that something definitely happened. Natsume says that it is very suspicious and apparently it is a good thing so she’ll let it be. Kotori keeps on insisting that it is nothing. Natsume tells Kotori that she will leave early so can she borrow her notebook for tomorrow. Kotori tells her that she can, and is she going to work. Natsume says yes. Yukito also offers to lend his notebook but Natsume declines. Then, Yukito and Kotori are going lovey-dovey teasing and ‘something is on your hair’. Natsume looks at blushing Kotori and thinks that she [Kotori] is really cute like that, and being in love changes one into that. Natsume tries to imagine what it is like for her to be in love but in the end, she gave up because she couldn’t imagine it. Then, Natsume gets a message, presumably from her mother, on her cellphone that she will be late so Natsume can eat ahead of her. Natsume looks somewhat sad about this.
At the train, Natsume sees Masaya reading a review book. She frowns then approaches him. She thanks him again for yesterday. Natsume is irked when he greets her as yesterday’s ‘Miss Thank You’. He asks her what she is early, did she skip school. Natsume asks isn’t he the same. Masaya tells him that he is an exam candidate so this is his free time. With one eyebrow raised, Natsume frowns. She then shows him a supermarket discount flyer. With a forced smile, Natsume tells him that he dropped it yesterday and he even put some detailed notes on it. Taking the flyer, Masaya says that it doesn’t matter even if she throws it away because anyway, it is already past the date of sale. “Or perhaps, I should say that you wanted to see me? *Natsume surprised and flustered* For you to always carry this thing around, there’s also something cute about you, huh?” Natsume is frowning. Then, she suddenly grabs Masaya’s collar and pulls him to her as if she is going to kiss him. Masaya looks surprised and mutters, “Wha-”. Natsume giggles and says, “You’re that worried? You got too excessive self-awareness, it isn’t a kiss. Did you think that I want to kiss you?” The two end up smiling at each other with an annoyed aura around them. Hehe, Natsume and Masaya will be an interesting and fun couple, if they get together. Unlike Kotori and Yukito, these two have a very high pride and very self-confident so they will really clash. If they do fall for each other, I think it will take some time before either one would admit it. =P I think Masaya will be ‘safe’ with Natsume because she won’t fall for Yukito. Actually, I think only a mature and older guy would suit Natsume for she considers the guys around her age as ‘boys/kids’. As for the two Kaiji-s, hehe, it will indeed happen soon. It’s really nice of Yukito to ask her first. It is quite considerate of him and well, it’s because he frightened her before. Hehe, if it does happen, he would have to be extra gentle with her. Kenken is acting like how a brother/father would react about this. He’s so funny and next time, if Yukito goes to her house, I think Kenken will ‘tease’ Yukito even more. =P Scans by 17kkhm.com

The other students are envious that they weren’t informed about this so they decide to exchange sms/text address. Soon, they are exchanging addresses with Iriyan and others via infrared. Makoto looks at Iriyan and thinks that it is good to exchange addresses. Then, Iriyan notices that she is looking at him. He happily says that he still doesn’t know her address so how about they exchange. Makoto takes out her cellphone but she hesitates because her sms address has the words ‘rabbit’ and emoticon ‘ouo’. She wonders if it would seem like she is trying to be cute. She also put her birthday on it so won’t it seem like she is asking for a birthday gift. She nervously thinks that she is such an idiot for just randomly choosing her address before, instead of carefully thinking about it. Iriyan calls out to her. Makoto keeps on hesitating while thinking that she wants to know Iriyan’s address but is her address okay. Seeing her nervous, Iriyan tells her not to force herself, it is okay and he isn’t some deadbeat pervert. Iriyan joins his friends who were teasing him. Makoto can only mentally try to tell him that it isn’t so, and she doesn’t want to because of the rabbit and the ouo. During lunch, Makoto is depressed so Uki advices her to just ask Makoto’s address and it will be okay. Makoto asks if it would seem that she is up to no good. Uki says no. Makoto muses that Uki is so blunt and she likes that. While Uki starts to eat Makoto’s lunch, she tells Makoto that Iriyan had already asked about it so it is okay. Makoto still has apprehensions about her strange sms address that Uki tells her that her own address has her own birthday. Uki says that even if she knows that it is more difficult for Makoto to ask but if she gives it up now, won’t it be just like when she is in junior high. Makoto decides to do this because she had already resolved that she will change to become stronger. She thinks that if she cannot do it now, she cannot do it for the rest of her life. Makoto notices that Uki is somewhat smiling at her that she asks what it is. Uki says that it is nothing.
And so, Makoto thinks that it should be easy to ask because they are classmates. Makoto tries to ask Iriyan about his sms address but he is always busy chatting with his friends. To her dismay, the dismissal bell has rung and she wasn’t able to butt in Iriyan’s chatting friends to ask him. Makoto sees Iriyan with his friends chatting at the hallway. Makoto realizes that Iriyan always have people around him and he is everyone’s central figure. She thinks that he only helped her during the opening ceremony because she was in an awkward situation and if that is so.. Soon, Iriyan and others are bidding each other goodbye. To Makoto’s surprise, Iriyan happily pats her head and tells her not to oversleep tomorrow. Just as Iriyan starts to walk away, Makoto thinks that she wants to know his address because he is Iriyan, not because he is her classmate. She suddenly calls out to Iriyan. This surprises Iriyan and the others. Holding her cellphone, she walks towards him and ends up tripping. ^^; After an awkward silence, Iriyan quickly goes to Makoto who is lying flat on the floor to ask if she is alright. Iriyan asks if her head hurt but Makoto tells him that she is okay. Iriyan gives Makoto her cellphone back. Holding her cellphone, Makoto thinks that she shouldn’t run away and she should do her best. Starting to cry, Makoto asks him if he can give her his sms address. Putting his hand on his pocket, Iriyan apologizes and says that he left it in the classroom. This shocks Makoto and tells him to forget it. She thinks that Iriyan is just politely turning her down. Iriyan stares at her then asks among his friends if they have a pen. After his friend lends him one, Iriyan starts to write his sms address on Makoto’s left cheek. Iriyan smiles and tells her that it is a gel [/water-based] pen so it will disappear if she cries. Makoto quickly stands up and looks up in order for her tears not to fall on the writing. She starts asking someone if they have a mirror and a pen. While looking at Makoto, slightly flustered Iriyan smiles. Makoto realizes that she can take a picture of herself. She takes out her cellphone and holds up the camera. Just when she presses the button, Iriyan holds her shoulder and poses with her. Narration: “Another correction. My second day of high school has the highest record of nonstop heartbeat in my whole life.”
The story still seems typical wherein girl wants to be cute/change and she’s falling for the popular guy. I’m starting to be interested in this series because of Iriyan. He maybe popular and nice but what sets him apart is he really makes his move fast. Hopefully, Makoto isn’t too clueless that he is interested in her. The special treatments that he has been giving her are really obvious already. He doesn’t seem to be a playboy either. Hm..too perfect? Also, the narration in this chapter is pretty good, too. Hehe, it seems that Rika also has to discipline herself to look nice and pretty. I wonder if Makoto will also follow here regime but of course, it is nice that Iriyan is interested in her in her current state. This series is easy to summarize so I’ll continue this and see where the story goes. By the way, others are saying that this seems to be like some other series of the author but since I haven’t read any of her previous series so it is ‘new’ to me. Scans by 離境漢化組.

Tsubaki exclaims is that so. Hiro says that it is too bad that she has a date with her boyfriend today. Tsubaki seems startled by that. He apologizes and says that it would have been better if he had told her about this earlier. “It’s really inconveniencing the BOYFRIEND. It will be good if it doesn’t influence the reconciliation.” Tsubaki tells him to wait because his tone of voice sounds like.. Hiro says that of course she will participate in the lecture, right. Tsubaki says that she didn’t say that. Hiro is surprised and asks if she isn’t going to join. “Didn’t you want to become a hairstylist? It is a once a year opportunity. You can change the time to date your boyfriend, anytime you want, right?” Tsubaki hesitates but she thinks that today is when she will renew her relationship with Kyouta as lovers and it is a very important date. Tsubaki smiles and apologizes that today, she is going home. Someone calls Hiro that he shouts back that he’s coming. When Tsubaki is about to tell him that she’s going ahead, Hiro says that she is free to do whatever she wants. “It’s good that if it is what you like. ..only that later on, there will be a lot of choices like this.. In our line of work, someone like you who can easily waste an opportunity will find it impossible to make a living.” Tsubaki is surprised by that comment, and then she looks flustered. At the planetarium gift store, Kyouta gets a small statue of two polar bears. He puts the bracelet on the polar bear that is standing. He giggles that it is like Tsubaki. Then, his cellphone rings. It is a message from Tsubaki apologizing that she cannot see him because she just learned that there will be a lecture on hairstyling which happens only once a year, so no matter what, she wants to participate in it. She apologizes again for not being able to make it. Then, a saleslady asks Kyouta if he is going to buy that statue. He ends up tossing it to the saleslady’s face and says, “Who is going to buy that, idiot.” The saleslady is angry to be treated that way, when he is even handsome [presumed to be nice]. While walking out, Kyouta takes out the two tickets to the planetarium show. He crumples the tickets but after a few steps, he turns back to watch the show. Meanwhile, Daiki-san shows how to cut hair using some wigs. Tsubaki even raised her hand to ask questions. Soon, the lecture is over. Tsubaki is on a trance that Hiro has to wave his hand in front of her and calls her name. After she snaps out of it, he asks if she is still sweeping. He offers to help her. Tsubaki says that it is alright, she’s almost finished. Hiro apologizes that she is being made to sweep up after the lecture. Tsubaki exclaims no, if she didn’t, she would feel guilty about it. She tells him that the lecture is really amazing and she thinks that workers should not have the right to join but she is really moved to see it. She happily says, “It made me look more forward to do this hairstyling profession!”
Hiro asks if in the end, shouldn’t [/didn’t] she choose her boyfriend. This surprises Tsubaki. In the locker room, Tsubaki takes out her cellphone. She thinks that Kyouta didn’t reply to her message when the lecture is starting already that she just totally listened to the lecture. She notices that she has a message. She looks away while presses the button to read it from fear of what’s written. Kyouta writes that it is okay, not to mind too much because this is something inevitable. “Anyway, I’m going to school tomorrow. It’s okay for us to see each other by then. Properly learn, okay.” While Tsubaki is in the car that he is driving, Hiro comments that her boyfriend isn’t angry and he has such a high tolerance, so is he really a high schooler when it is obviously a date to reconcile but she stood him up. Tsubaki mutters ya, and it seems that there is no problem. Hiro asks could it be that it is okay for him [Kyouta] even if they didn’t reconcile. Trembling Tsubaki looks aghast. Surprised Hiro asks what’s with that reaction. “I’m just kidding so don’t take it seriously!” Tsubaki says that Kyouta probably understands her because he also has an important goal. Hiro says is that how it is and it will be good if it is like that. Tsubaki looks surprised again. Aghast, she asks him why he says things that make her feel uneasy. Hiro says that it is because her reaction is so amusing and since her boyfriend isn’t angry, there’s no need to worry about eating out. Tsubaki is surprised by that. Hiro says that it is a place where their boss frequently eats, and the food is delicious. Later on, Kyouta comes out of a restaurant. He decides to go home. While walking, some kids and people pass by him. Aghast, Kyouta wonders if he is a turtle. He rests on a small metal street barrier. He takes out his cellphone and gets ready to call Tsubaki. Then, he hears someone saying, “Tsubaki..?” He looks up and looks around. He wonders if he was mistaken. He gets up to walk again. He hears muttered voices that she’s embarrassed. Kyouta looks to the side to see Hiro walking together with Tsubaki. Hiro is touching her hair while Tsubaki tells him not to touch it as he pleases. Tsubaki gave up on protesting as Hiro kisses [/smells] her hair and says that lately, her hair had become really nice. Angry Kyouta is about to call out to Tsubaki when Tsubaki asks Hiro if he noticed it. Tsubaki blushes and smiles over this. Kyouta is surprised by this. He remembers Hiro telling him that during the time that he didn’t know, Tsubaki has already changed. While Tsubaki and Hiro continue to walk away, Kyouta just stands there and clenches his fist. Blurb: “Seeing for himself, the smile that he doesn’t know, Kyouta will --!?”
So, Hiro is good at persuading Tsubaki to do something that she isn’t inclined to do. It is quite subtle at how Hiro is making Tsubaki not to prioritize Kyouta, though what he told Tsubaki is true. Being a hairstylist or any job, one has to be professional and at times, it is really a choice between work and time with a loved one. I don’t think that Hiro can really be faulted for it because in the end, it is Tsubaki herself, who will have to make the choice. Just like what ayamiz mentioned in the tagboard, this is like how Kyouta chose to be with Nako on Valentine’s Day. So, I guess the future arc will be about how Kyouta deals with a ‘rival’ and how they are probably going to balance their ‘dreams/work’ and love life. Like what I’ve mentioned before, they should have gotten together already instead of dragging it out and giving Hiro an opportunity. But then, that is probably for the story. =P From how Hiro is acting, I’m still wondering if he really likes Tsubaki or is he in love with her hair? ^^; Hehe..I guess time will tell before Kyouta is at his limit..and for him to still be calm right now, is a testament to how much patience he now is. =P Scans by 水银工作室.

He then wonders how BJ had suddenly shifted the knife to his other hand and was it deliberate for BJ to make him mind the knife on his right hand, when he showed off the shifting of the knife’s position on his right hand. Murasame feels really uneasy when he realizes that BJ is used to fighting that is how he managed to do all that. This creeps Murasame out especially because BJ’s knife is real. He starts exercising to calm himself down because he had a bad feeling that BJ is for real. Back at the set, the director plans to do scenes that don’t directly show BJ because he doesn’t have special make-up. They will start to film the scene where a certain actress is going to be attacked by BJ. The actress is freaking out over this while the others feel sorry for her. =P While Cain is drinking water, Setsuka calls out to him but ends up not saying anything. She couldn’t ask him if that ‘smile’ is not part of acting. She thinks that he is acting too passionately about it and seems to have forgotten that it is just acting which he doesn’t do before. She thinks that it doesn’t fit the role of BJ to have that smile. It wasn’t Cain nor Ren. At that time, she wonders who is moving Ren’s body. Next chapter on Sept. 20th. Yay..I get to see that backflip. Hopefully, Kyouko can piece things together because she has seen Kuon did that. She has seen what Ren would look like with light colored hair because of the sun, from the Dark Moon shooting before. I guess that crucial part will for her to see the real color of his eyes. This is the second time when Kyouko notices that Ren is acting like someone else she doesn’t know. Things are being build up in a subtle..ever slow..way. =P Hopefully, there will be a major development in this arc. Poor Murasame..he is really rattled by what happened. What if the director didn’t call for ‘stop’..I guess that would really make anyone freak out over that possibility. At the dining place, Caesar comments that the strong wine is very delicious. Ahkil says that it is good that they like it. Lito offers something to Nakaba and tells her that it is delicious. Nakaba tastes it and says that it is indeed delicious. Nakaba decides to offer it to Caesar. A bit uneasy, Caesar tells her that he doesn’t want to and tells her to eat what she wants to eat because these past few days she didn’t eat much. Nakaba is disappointed and Loki looks dark over Caesar’s reaction. Loki decides to take the bun Nakaba is holding and says that he’ll help himself then. Loki offers Nakaba some fruits and says that it will be beneficial to her body. Nakaba thanks him. Caesar and Loki glare at each other. Nakaba apologizes to Caesar and tells him that from today on, she will properly eat. Caesar complains what’s up with each and everyone of them, don’t look at him with that kind of expression. Nakaba is surprised. There is an awkward silence. Caesar suddenly stands up and says that he’s going ahead. Nakaba looks a bit flustered. That night, Caesar complains that he couldn’t sleep even if he drunk a lot [of wine]. Then, the door opens. It is Nakaba. Caesar asks if something is up. Nakaba asks if she can sleep with him. Surprised, Caesar asks why she suddenly says that. Nakaba asks if she can’t. Caesar says that she can do whatever she wants. In bed, the two are lying in bed but Caesar is facing away from Nakaba. To his surprise, Nakaba snuggles at his back and mutters his name. This made Caesar shout for her to get away from him because it is hot. This made Nakaba on the verge of tears. Nakaba shouts what kind of expression does she have when looking at him, what kind of expression should she have, she’s very uneasy. Holding her shoulders, Caesar tells him that she can just ‘get rid of him’ and let him go for he is already very afraid that he wasn’t able to give her happiness and fundamentally, this is a marriage that is against their wishes. “Our time together isn’t that long.. That day.. Wait for the day when the disturbance between Belquat and Senan quiets down.. it also won’t be necessary for you to be the wife of a Belquat prince! This is a place that is far from Belquat and Senan.. It can give you a lot of opportunities.. in such a far place, you can freely live a peaceful life. So, please.. do not let me deepen my feelings for you.. You should also not deepen your feelings for me..”
Irked Nakaba gives him a slap. Nakaba shouts if this is the reason why he has been giving her the cold shoulder the whole day. “Do you want me.. to forget about you!? Do not belittle me..! I..even if I cannot see you from today on.. even if it is such an unbearable pain and uneasiness.. even if I’m not able to attain happiness.. I am still your wife..! You’re too much.. You’re so cruel! Caesar..you’re..” Caesar hugs her tightly. Then, Nakaba cries on his shoulder. Later on, they are lying in bed again but this time, facing each other. Caesar is surprise when Nakaba snuggles to him. He tells her not to be too close because it is hard to sleep comfortably like that. Nakaba hugs him tighter and says that she doesn’t want to. “I want to stick.. really close to you.. at this time.. my sanity.. will..” Nervous Caesar exclaims no, it’s nothing. “Do you.. know.. that? You look like you don’t have experience..” Nakaba tells him that she knows because she read about it in books. Burying his head on the pillow, blushing Caesar mutters really..from books, huh. Caesar timidly looks at her. Nakaba bends down and kisses him on the lips. Flustered Caesar sits up and shouts for her to be careful else he’ll violate her. They look at each other then kiss. Nakaba takes his hand and puts it on her face. She tells him to make her his true wife. This surprises blushing Caesar. They kiss each other. Soon, Caesar is lying on top of her. He looks at her and sees her expression which seems like she is forcing herself. This made Caesar sit up and apologize that he might not be able to do it. Seeing Nakaba’s flustered expression, Caesar quickly shouts that isn’t what he meant. “I..right now.. am very nervous.. just by looking at you.. I’m embarrassed and at a complete loss on what to do.. Every time it is like this.. *looks at frowning Nakaba* I’m not deceiving you..!” Caesar pulls her to him and makes him listen to his fast pounding heart. Nakaba says that his heartbeat is beating quite fast. Then, they were interrupted by Ahkil who calls out to Caesar to inform him that another town has been attacked by snakes, and this time around, it is a town that is close to the royal capital. At their hideout, snake Ajin comments that those guys opposing them didn’t come out this time around and it is quite rare for them to attack a town near the royal capital. One of the thieves say that is true and those slow witted humans would even vainly attempt to capture them. Snake Ajin says that is right, it seems that she has overestimated them. “Then, next time.. how about we go for the royal capital as our goal?”
At a meeting, some people are troubled by the thieves recent attacks since it is already at the foot of the royal capital and yet, they weren’t able to catch even a hair of those thieves. “This incident is making the royal family lose face. What are those guards doing? Shouldn’t the surrounding area of the royal capital be safe? Is it because they are lowering their guard?” To Azhar’s surprise, Baatar [<- invented name based on 巴塔爾], his brother, asks him what this is all about for didn’t Azhar took the initiative to gather the troops, saying about protecting the masses and will suppress the thieves. Baatar says that he whole-heartedly agreed to this - eliminating the thieves for everyone’s safety, and relentlessly doing it, with all of one’s effort. Azhar couldn’t answer back. Baatar continues to say that some days ago, Azhar seems to have encountered those thieves and yet, he let them slip away so, until when is he going to let things lose out of control. Nervous Azhar says that is because.. but he couldn’t answer anymore. Outside the palace, Caesar, together with Belias and Emilia, is bidding the others goodbye. Caesar apologizes to Ahkil for leaving at this crucial time. Ahkil says that it is okay for as a prince, he only has to do his best for the peace of Belquat and that is a prince’s responsibility. Ahkil tells him that the ship is already prepared so he can peacefully go back to his country. Looking at Caesar, Nakaba calls out to him. Ahkil tells Caesar that because of the thieves’ incident, he currently cannot leave the palace but when Caesar is going to set sail, they will be there. Calling out to Caesar again, Nakaba wants to be always with Caesar, before he set sail. Ahkil says that there is still something that he wants to ask of Nakaba. “Even if I know that you wanted to go with Prince Caesar, but I’m very sorry, I cannot make you leave the palace..” Muttering Ahkil’s name, Nakaba thinks that he is right, she still has to use the Arcana to capture the thieves so it is necessary for her to stay there and help Ahkil and the others. Nakaba tells Caesar that he will set sail in 10 days time, she will surely be there. She hopes to surely find the thieves’ whereabouts before then. Hugging Emilia, Nakaba tells her and Belias to take care. Caesar tells Nakaba that they will see each other again. “Take care of yourself, Nakaba.” Soon, they have left.
Worried, Nakaba wonders if she will still see Caesar again. “I will capture that group of thieves. Help Prince Azhar ascend to the throne. Then, sign a contract regarding the shipment of the Retina ore. Then, afterwards, I can save Lito’s mother, Lina. Then, if we have enough of the Retina, we will be able to oppose Belquat’s most feared weapon. Perhaps, there are still many urgent things that I have to do. Since what’s confronting me is the vortex of a great war, my both legs might weaken in fear. But, I can see the future.. So in this way.. *turns around to see the hooded thieves hanging around some ruined-type building* It’s just some shattered images.. *iris turning red* Where is this? Is it the past? Or is it the future? *someone enveloped in snakes* I do not know.. Perhaps.. It is only a dream? *darkness* Or is it a vain attempt? *blood splatters on her face*” Nakaba snaps out of it when Ahkil calls out to her. She finds herself at the library. He asks her if she has seen any clues. Looking ill, Nakaba apologizes and says that she wasn’t able to see it clearly. Ahkil begs for her to try to see it again. “Your power is our only hope! There is no other way.. Although I know that this is forcing you..” Nakaba shouts she knows what he is saying. “But..it isn’t like I can just see what I want to see! You said that I’m [your] hope? Where is hope!? Depending on this power, who had I saved!? Who can I save!?” Ahkil is surprised by her outburst. Nakaba also surprised. She quickly excuses herself by saying that she wants to rest for a while. After Nakaba went out, at some place, Baatar asks someone to know about the history of Ahkil’s guests. The man says that it isn’t clear yet. Baatar says that during this time, Ahkil will not invite some ordinary visitors. “There’s definitely some sort plan but then, it is a waste of energy.” Sitting at the courtyard, Nakaba is lost in thought. She snaps out of it when Lito calls out to her and asks if she is alright because she is just sitting there and staring off. Nakaba tells him that she is alright, it is only because lately, she hasn’t been able to sleep well. Thinking that she needs lots and lots of time to think things through, Nakaba mutters that she wants to forget everything and perhaps, run away from that place. Lito calls out to her so Nakaba assures him not to mind her, she is just venting her frustrations a bit.
Flustered Lito exclaims for her not to abandon his mother and not to say things like running away. Nakaba quickly hugs him and apologizes. She exclaims that she won’t, she will definitely save his mother. While still apologizing to Lito, Nakaba thinks that she is afraid. “Even if being swallowed by this vortex, even if how scary it is.. didn’t Caesar just set out into the middle of the vortex.. I’m so weak, cowardly..” Nakaba is surprised to see that Lito has already fallen sleep on her lap. Just then, she notices someone behind her. She turns around to see a guy but the man has hit her nape that she has fallen unconscious. Later on, Nakaba wakes up and finds herself in a bedroom. Someone calls out and asks if she is awake. She is surprised to see a long haired guy [Baatar]. Baatar tells her that before he tells her his name, what’s her name and what’s her motive in coming to his country. Nakaba looks tense. Taking a cup, Baatar says that they are Ahkil’s guests. “Currently, a group of thieves is causing havoc within the country. It is a bit chaotic so guests who come here at this time are definitely not ordinary ones. I advise you to honestly explain it.” Nakaba is hesitant to tell him. Baatar lifts up her chin using the cup he’s holding. He tells her if she doesn’t want to say, then it is more suspicious. “Are you a spy from some other country? Or are you a spy from that group of thieves?” Nakaba shouts that she isn’t. Baatar asks again who she is, and what reason for a girl like her to come here in Lithvanel. Nakaba thinks that since this guy has black hair, he could be the brother of Azhar, the first prince who stole the right to the throne. Baatar suddenly twist her arms behind her and says that if she won’t say it then he would always bind her like this. After Nakaba’s hands are tied behind her, Baatar says that for such a trivial young girl, no one would be suspicious if she gets lost in the desert and lost her little life. Nakaba’s eyes widen as she realize that she is going to be killed. “No.. I cannot die.. There are still many things that I still have to do.. I have to find the whereabouts of those thieves.. I’m going to see Ceasar.. I still have to send him off.. If things kept on like this.. perhaps, I won’t be.. able to see Caesar again!” Nakaba’s expression becomes distorted over this possibility. Baatar muses that is boring. Nakaba thinks that she wants to gaze on Caesar’s eyes again, want to hear his voice again, and once again feel his warmth.
Nakaba quickly stands up from the bed and hits Baatar with her body. [<- attempt to push him down?] Baatar asks what she is doing. He slaps Nakaba hard that it made her lose balance. She bumps on the small table before falling down. The cup on the table falls down and shatters into pieces on the floor. Using her teeth, Nakaba takes a piece of glass shard. Baatar tells her to be more serious. To his surprise, Nakaba uses the shard to slash and wound her thigh. Nakaba somewhat smiles as she sees the blood coming out. The irises of her eyes are starting to turn red. Then, Nakaba finds herself in a dark place – like a hallway, surrounded by doors. She wonders where she is. Baatar looks down on unconscious Nakaba and calls out to her. She didn’t respond. He lightly hits her face to wake her up. He keeps on doing this but Nakaba isn’t moving at all. After a while, Baatar carries her and throws her on the bed. He just looks at her. Back to Nakaba, she wonders what place is this. It’s dark and there are only doors. Touching the floor, Nakaba thinks that aside from it being pitch black, there is nothing else there. She remembers using the Arcana but where is this, is it a dream. She goes to a door and touches it. She thinks that it is a normal door. The door won’t open when she tried to pull it. Then, Nakaba feels that someone is watching her from behind a door. She quickly turns around but no one is there. She starts to feel uneasy. She calls out if someone is there. Then, she starts calling out for Loki. There is no answer. She starts running in front. Once again, it seems that someone is looking at her from behind a door. Outside, Loki seems to have dozed off. He opens his eyes to see Ahkil standing beside him. Ahkil asks what he is doing in that place. “It’s quite rare to see you unexpectedly lost in your thoughts.” Loki sadly smiles and says that is true. “I have thought.. of some things from the past..” Back to Nakaba, she is running around the place. Tired from running, she tries to pull the door open but it won’t budge. She thinks that the door here also won’t open. “Here, too. And this door, too. And this one, too.” Nakaba is becoming really tense when she finally manages to open a door. She goes through a door and wonders where she is. Then, she realizes that she is in Senan’s castle.
Then, she hears footsteps behind her. She turns around to see Prince Adele. She tries to call out to him but to her surprise, Adele just walked passed through her. Noticing that Adele didn’t see her, she realizes that she is in the Arcana of Time. She quickly follows Adele. She thinks that Adele looks young so he should be around 14 years old. She realizes that Adele is going into her room. The door opens and Nakaba sees her old self looking out the window. Adele had a smirk on his face. After past Nakaba looked at Adele, she looks out the window again. Adele complains about that boring expression and why, it isn’t like how she happily greets that Ajin. Past Nakaba says that she learns to differentiate it. “The sound of footsteps isn’t the same. Your footsteps are very forceful and crude. Loki’s footsteps are very quiet and feel very comfortable.” Adele stiffens over this. He exclaims, “Hmph, forget it! *points at past Nakaba* The ball is going to start soon, but you cannot go out!!” Past Nakaba bluntly tells him that she won’t be going. Adele is going to tease her that if she is going..but he stops. Pulling past Nakaba’s long pigtail, Adele shouts that it will just cause trouble if she appears there, because of her shabby looks and hair. Past Nakaba just looks cold. Adele shouts if she isn’t going to say anything, if she wants to humiliate him then why don’t she trouble herself and just go home. Irked, Adele starts to leave and complain that she is really such a boring girl. After Adele left, Nakaba looks at her past self, who is holding her pigtail tightly. Past Nakaba flips her hair on her shoulder and seem to curtsy with her plain outfit. Nakaba looks somewhat sad over this. She passes through the door and follows Adele. Nakaba thinks that it feels strange to be able to see what’s happening outside that room. She looks at Adele and muses that he is very similar to Caesar, like the time how Caesar pulled her hair before, when she just came to Belquat. She lightly laughs and wonders if Caesar will get angry if she told him that they are similar.
Then, she sees Loki walking across the hallway. Nakaba starts to follow him and wonders where he is going. Loki stops at a door and knocks. Nakaba wonders whose room this is. Loki enters the room and a black haired beauty complains that he’s very slow. Facing the woman, Loki apologizes to her. Nakaba recognizes the woman as Crown Princess Bella. She wonders why Loki went to her room. Bella says, “Forget that. Come over here.” Loki bends down to her. Looking pleased, Bella holds out her hand. Loki kisses her hand. Bella then touches his face. This made Loki look away. Bella holds up his face to her and tells him to look at her. As Loki looks at her, Bella touches his face again and says that his eyes are very beautiful. “They are beast-like eyes. Your good looks stand out among the Ajin-s.” Loki tells her that her good looks are incomparable. This made Bella comment that he is really brave [= dash into something in total disregard for his own personal safety]. With that, Bella slaps Loki. [<- I think Loki said it in such a sarcastic way because he obviously doesn’t look like he meant what he said.] Bella then tells Loki to get out. Loki quietly walks away and goes into, past Nakaba’s room. When the door opens, past Nakaba happily turns to greet him. Loki smiles and greets her. Past Nakaba welcomes him back. Loki says, ya, I’m back. Then, Nakaba’s stomach starts to growl loudly. Loki smiles and says, okay, he’ll go and get her dinner. Loki heads down to the kitchen and asks the cook for Nakaba’s dinner. The cook gives him a small serving of food – small bowl of soup, small piece of bread and two small slices of what seems to be ham. Loki tries to call out to the cook but the cook apologizes and says that is all they have for today. He tells Loki that because of the war against Belquat, there is not enough food stuff so they need to decrease unnecessary expenditures. Loki looks sad about this.
While he walks at the hallway, a fox Ajin servant looks at the food Loki is carrying. He asks that cook only gave Loki such a tiny bit of food again. Loki says that is right, and on contrary, the food, that Pluto [guesswork name from 庫鲁托 Ku-lu-tuo] is carrying for Bella, is quite plentiful. Pluto mutters that woman obviously don’t eat too much. Loki tells him that his voice is too loud. Then, Pluto has an idea. To Loki’s surprise, Pluto starts to toss some of Bella’s food into Nakaba’s. Pluto tells Loki that it is okay, it is just a little bit so it won’t be noticed. “Anyway, you tend to say something like, you are fine, and then, you would give that fundamentally measly food to that Princess, right? *Loki looks surprised* Well, happily taste that and goodbye--” Loki tries to call Pluto but he already left. In the room, past Nakaba is surprised that their dinner that night is quite a lot. Nakaba has more servings of food than Loki. Loki says yes. Loki is smiling as Nakaba praises the food. She exclaims that this meat is so fresh and tender unlike the dried type of meat she used to eat, and also, there’s no bone/tendons. The taro is also sliced thick unlike before, it is so thin. To Loki’s surprise, past Nakaba puts some of the food on his plate. Past Nakaba tells him that he has always forced to endure hunger because of her. “You would say something like you’ve already eaten but that is obviously, impossible. But, if I would say that I do not want [the food], you would have such a troubled expression again.. Thank you for always taking care of me.. Loki.” Loki is touched by what she said. Past Nakaba tells him to quickly eat. Loki says okay. Nakaba watches them and smiles. Somewhere in the desert [real time], Caesar is washing his face at a body of water in an oasis. He complains that it is hot. Emilia calls out to him and asks if this is okay, parting from Nakaba. “That child.. Nakaba, she.. is always feeling very uneasy.. It seems that she is afraid of something.. As if she is being forced by something.. *Flashback of Emilia looking at Nakaba who feels/thinks ‘I’m afraid, I’m so afraid, It’s alright, It’s painful’.* It’s the same with you, Prince Caesar. You obviously do not want to part with..” Caesar admits that he doesn’t want to part from Nakaba. “But she said.. she is my wife. (Even if we cannot see each other again.)”
Back to Nakaba, she is sitting outside the door. She’s trembling with a look of disbelief and aghast. Inside, Loki says, “--Your Highness, Bella. Tonight’s ball..” Bella says that she knows. Touching naked Loki’s face, who is sitting on bed, Bella says that red haired girl’s evening gown is already prepared. Loki looks at her that Bella asks if he is uneasy. Touching his lips, Bella says that, he would really dash into something with total disregard of himself, just for that girl. “Relax. Do you think that I’m lying? *looks at the side* What do you think? Pluto.” Holding Loki’s clothes, Pluto is standing at the side. After a pause, Pluto says that Her Highness Bella is really kind and good-natured. Loki is surprised when Bella says that is right. “So, do not attend to that girl and come to me. *Nakaba stands up and heads back in the door* It must be very hard for you to serve that girl. Like this, food and clothes aren’t given to you, and you are living such a miserable life in that moldy tower. If you come to my side, you will be more relaxed [/free]. Then, Bella says, “—then, go cut off Pluto’s tail.” The two Ajin-s look at Bella in surprise. Sitting on the chair, Bella continues to say, “Cut it off. I always wanted a fox fur shawl. Loki, I only have to get that, then I’ll let you off. *Loki tries to protest, that for him to do that.* Loki.. could it be that you are mistaken about your position and your plight [/unfavorable situation]? This isn’t something that I’M ASKING YOU to do.” Loki looks at Pluto then starts to take out his knife. Pinning Pluto down on the ground, Loki prepares to cut off Pluto’s tail. Pluto shouts for him to stop. Just when the knife is on Pluto’s tail, Bella starts laughing out loud. She exclaims that it is such a delightful play for Loki to not hesitate to attack his brother [/same species] just for his master. “Hihi.. Really. You want to stay at that red haired [girl]’s side? *cold look* It really puts me in a bad mood. It would be okay for that girl to just be killed. *turns around* That girl living in that tower, even if she is gotten rid off, no one will discover it. Or maybe.. I should go and give her to the soldiers for their pleasure. Then, this way, her existence would be more valuable! *Loki’s expression darkens* Don’t you think that is a good idea? *turns to Loki* This way, you also won’t have any misgiving in going to my side..”
Bella seems to look surprise as she realizes that there is a knife protruding on her back. With a slightly crazed look, Loki tells her, “Do not worry. I will throw your corpse within the forest where the wild beasts will eat you up until there are no remains of your skeleton. In my opinion, it is easy not to let anyone discover what fate has befallen on you.” As Bella falls dead, she says, “Wha.. Loki.. I love.. you.. I..” Surprised Pluto says, “Loki.. you..” Loki tells Pluto that there is no need for him to give food to him again. “I have already severed off your tail.” [<- I think he meant it figuratively like he is free from Bella because from the pictures, Pluto’s tail is still intact.] Loki spreads out the blanket and covers it on dead Bella. Flustered Pluto calls Loki a fool for that woman doesn’t plan on preparing some evening gown from the very start. Carrying the wrapped corpse, Loki says, ya. Then, he jumps down from the window. Pluto calls out that Loki is really a fool. Nakaba looks sad as she watches this scene. In her room, past Nakaba looks out the window and mutters that it has become noisy so the ball is already starting. The door opens. Nakaba welcomes him back and says that he’s very late today. Loki apologizes to her since he wasn’t able to prepare an evening gown that she needs for the ball. After looking surprised, past Nakaba smiles and tells him that thing is no big deal. “Anyway, even if I have an evening gown, I’ll just be laughed at by Prince Adele. ..and, *holding Loki’s hand and twirls herself* we can even dance while we are here. *smiles* Let’s dance together, Loki..” Past Nakaba is surprised when Loki hugs her tightly and says that she’s beautiful compared to anyone else. Loki thinks, “Even if you do not have an evening gown and shoes, you are still beautiful. *holding her head* One day, you will dread these hands filled with filth. Then, at least, for now--” Nakaba looks at them. She thinks, “Not knowing anything, the young me who was protect by him..I’m really.. *cries in anguish* (Loki, you are really such a fool).” [<- the ‘I’m really’ and ‘You are really’ are side by side so Nakaba seems to also call herself a fool.]
And, that is Loki’s secret which he doesn’t want Nakaba to know. Actually, it is very understandable because Loki has really ‘stained’ himself here. It makes me wonder if this is part of the reason why Loki doesn’t encourage Nakaba to use the Arcana, aside from it being ‘bad for the health’. Added to that is how Nakaba reacted to him at first, when he killed Cain to protect her. What more of this one, when Bella just threatened to do that thing to Nakaba? I wonder if it would have been better if Loki took Bella’s offer and maybe he would be in a better situation to protect Nakaba that way..but I guess, he really doesn’t trust royalty. It seems that Loki knows that Bella is fooling him around but I guess he wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt just to make Nakaba happy especially because she seems to want to go to that ball even if she says that it isn’t a big deal. But like what Bella said, he will do everything with total disregard of himself for Nakaba so he is pleasing all of Bella’s whims but there is some things that he won’t give up on – staying at Nakaba’s side and her safety. Unfortunately for Bella, she crossed that line and thus, she ended up dead. It does make me wonder if there are others whom Loki killed to protect Nakaba in that hostile place. This explains how defensive Loki is when they first came to Belquat. He’s almost suicidal then. This also explains the emotions which Emilia felt from Loki. So, here is a guy who is a ‘servant’, cannot have the ‘princess’ but thankfully, she ‘hates’ everyone except the ‘servant’. The ‘servant’ is willing to do anything for her including killing and ‘doing it with someone he doesn’t love’ for her. Then, the ‘princess’ came to love mutually this ‘prince’, so where would he stand now? After all that Loki has done for her, it really feels awful especially since he kept doing this until now. I find him quite strong to bear all of that especially while seeing Nakaba is with Caesar. Yet, he seems fragile because everything is about Nakaba. He can really lose it if something happens to Nakaba or like he feared, Nakaba came to detest/hate him. In a way, it seems that he ‘needs’ her and yet, being with her who is in love with Caesar, can be quite painful. I do wonder for how long Loki can do this in the future especially if there is no need to protect Nakaba from those ‘royals’. They can actually blame everything on Loki..use him as a scapegoat for them to ‘live happily ever’ = kill the problematic people. Anyway, if ever Loki learns what Baatar did and thought of doing to Nakaba, it won’t be long before Baatar ends up dead. If Loki does kill him, Loki might be known as the ‘royalty killer’ – each in every country. I’ll say Baatar is pathetic to pick on a girl. ^^; Actually, that will solve the problem about Azhar attaining the throne and there’s no need to capture those thieves. =P So, will that vision of Nakaba regarding Loki killing someone happen soon? It seems not because he isn’t wearing his ‘knight’ outfit while in Lithvanel. Caesar being away and the thieves going to attack soon are also worrisome as if something bad is going to happen..the tragic type. Also, it seems that Nakaba’s Arcana has evolved. I find it really scary when Nakaba is just within it with all those doors. What if none of it opens? Will she be stuck in it? Actually, what if she cannot ‘wake up’ anymore?
