Manga: In Rosario + Cross [v. 9], Tsukune and others has stopped his sempai from destroying the human world. As usual, the villain survives. Gomen, I’m lazy to search for the names. ^^; Then, a chapter of meeting the mothers of the girls which causes problems to Tsukune as they tell their mothers that he is their boyfriend/fiancé but everything ends well again with the help of ice girl and as usual, he chose to be with Moka. The last part is on Tsukune’s cousin who went to the school to check out on him and threatens to return him home if she doesn’t approve of it. Moka and others has to pretend the place is normal but then, at the end, a monster attacks them. Will his cousin freak out and get Tsukune to return to the human world? Well, this manga is getting really boring fast though meeting the mothers is really funny but it is the usual save Tsukune/Moka/others from villains. It is only in Rozen Maiden [v. 8] when Kirakishou started her attacks on Shinku, Suiseiseki and Suigintou. Kanaria goes to Jun who is tend lead to a door by Laplace. He decides to go in and presumably to save the others. Mm..nothing much seemed to have happened. ^^;
Burly guy has returned with the money in Liar Game [c. 54-57] Mouse guy wants to make sure of their lead so the last few rounds on the next day, he will be the one who represent their team. During the counting, they were assured that they will win as they win that round but to their shock, in the final count, they have no money. They freak out as Akiyama tells them that mouse guy made a mistake. It turned out that long haired guy just acted to be a traitor but he is still with Akiyama. So, the traitors include him, bandana guy and it turned out that burly guy is also in with Akiyama. Mouse guy’s members are doing lots of freaking out faces here. Hehe And it ends with the usual, Akiyama and Nao going to use their money along with the money stolen by burly guy to save them. Mm..same formula. I wonder if mouse guy will agree to it since he is laughing at Akiyama and Nao over their plan. Ikki and his group starts to get serious in Air Gear [c. 177-179]. I made a mistake for it turn out that Kururu will be helping her father’s group. She returns with her other Tool Toul girls even Hako. It turned out that with Ringo’s tip, the other girls managed to stop Hako’s attempt to harm Kururu. Kururu’s hand is injured though but she forgives Hako. All the girls start to do repair work on the White Wolf team members. I think it is quite stupid of Kururu to do something like this which seems like a ‘betrayal’ for she is helping the rival though well, it is her father. I mean Ikki doesn’t seem to have recovered over what Sora did and here is another person who seemed to betray him. I wonder if she is just trying to prove to Ikki that she has some use. Anyway, I’m pretty sure that she will be his tuner.
I have gotten a bit confused in Kekkaishi [c. 181-184] ^^; I guess I have to still figure out what is Yagyou’s purpose is that I’m at a loss how to understand what is happening. The new arc is some Yagyou people meeting with a small big eyes person to investigate a black thing on the ground. Big eyes seems to be related with the sack head guy that Masamori always meets with. Then, big eyes with another person visits the Sumimuras. They tells them about the black thing and something about it being a crime wherein a god is caught/killed or something. They blame it on Yoshimori’s mother. Big eyes insulted her that Yoshimori’s father tries to splash water on him but his grandpa quickly ‘kekkai’ the water and Yoshimori stops big eyes from hurting his father. Big eyes is angered that he tries to attack them but they quickly shielded themselves. His grandfather later informs Masamori about it. Sack head guy is angry with big eyes..maybe because they were exposed. Anyway, basically, Yoshimori’s mother is accused of killing a god which is a serious crime and they would want to prove it otherwise. Masamori is also going to take action as sack head guy asks why is he in the meeting when it is his mother who killed the god. The big eye guy seems to ask his bro to do it – for revenge or what. Sigh, such a crappy summary. Anyway, maybe with more chapters, I can figure out more or less what exactly is happening. ^^;;
Silvery Crow [c. 1-18] is about John trying to find 13 pieces of the demon stone with Larue. The first two chapter is about their first meeting and how the one piece of the demon stone was stolen from them after they got it by Fukurou. Then, they meet up with Agape, a little as in small size woman who acts as their informant. They then got another piece by helping a guy get a cure for his sick son. The guy is actually dead and it is the stone that kept him alive. Kazami, red wing tries to get it from him but in the end, Kazami accepts what John said over why he wants it that he even helped John control his right arm which became a bit wild. Agape says that John is the human wherein the demon king is sealed in. John then finds himself in Kazami’s flying dragon ship. Since John praised him so, Kazami ended up showing John around the ship. ^^; John turned out to know about the truth about himself and tells them that Fukurou is the one who killed his guardian and stole a demon stone from his guardian who took him in. To their surprise, John ate the demon stone for safekeeping. They then go to a place to search for another demon stone. John and Larue ended up saving a thief, long haired mouse-looking guy who told them if they catch him, he will tell them about the demon stone. Then, when the mouse guy is about to tell them about Fukurou, he changed [no more whiskers] and had amnesia. He then tries to show them where the demon stone is when some crow monsters attack them. Agape says something about Larue doing something because she is cursed or something. She kissed John on the lips while holding his right hand while wishing that John become powerful. John’s right arm then became a scythe. He manages to finish the crows easily. He learns that Larue is a mediator between humans and the demon king. It seems that Larue is the key to release the power in John’s right arm which has a lock. To their surprised, they are chained together.
After fighting more crows, they find some people living underneath. They finally find another demon stone but mouse guy reverts to his former self and starts attacking John. Mouse guy can create weapons by shaping things that are the same as that weapon – like drawing something and it becomes real. With no choice, even if they don’t want to, Larue kissed John again and his right arm can disintegrate Mouse guy’s weapons. Larue realizes that the shaped symbol on her hand has changed. When John was caught, Larue thought of some weapon to protect him and his right arm became a shield. Larue realizes that John’s right arm becomes what she thought it to be. They finally beat mouse guy when mouse guy got stabbed by Fukurou. Fukurou finishes him off by making him vanish. Fukurou tells Larue that he wants to change the world according to his will that is why he is collecting the stones. John tries to fight him but is easily defeated. Fukurou tells them that he is very powerful because he already got all 12 stones and only needs the last one to make it complete. They won’t tell him where the last stone is. Fukurou stabs John’s right arm and pinned him on the wall. He tries to strangle John to confess. Larue pretends to be a traitor and steal Fukurou’s stones but it failed as Fukurou wounds her. Larue kept on telling John not to tell no matter what. In his anger, John pulled his arm from the sword to stop Fukurou from stabbing Larue. John assures her that he won’t tell. Fukurou laughs at him as to what he can do with that injured hand of his. To his and the others surprise, John manages to hit Fukurou with his right hand that made Fukurou bleed. John tells him that he is going to kill him. I’m surprised that the author didn’t drag it anymore like finding the pieces of the demon stone. I wonder how John will win against him and if Kazami and others will come to their aid.
Anime: It is autumn anime season so I’m starting to watch the new ones and watch the backlogged ones if I’m in the mood. ^^; First, it is Clannad from the creators of Kanon and Air anime and obviously, it is the typical harem type anime. One guy who seems to be a bit of a delinquent meets with somewhat lonely girl and meets with the other girls. At first, I thought the ending song about dango family is corny but after listening to it again, I came to like it as in it is cute. Then, there is Myself; Yourself which is about a guy who returns to the town he left a few years ago and would re-acquaint with the friends he left before. It seems that the three girls likes him. The last scene in episode one is amusing as he actually forgot the girl whom he seems to like before, therefore, he got a slap for it. It seems good so I’m going to watch some more fo it. ef – a tale of memories is a bit strange. I thought it is a harem but seems to be a story of four different couples. First couple is a boy who likes to read books meeting with a girl with a bandaged eye on an abandoned train station. Second couple is a boy who is a mangaka who befriends a girl who stole his bike to chase after a thief and ended up spending time with her instead of his sisters for Christmas. Third couple is a boy who likes to take videos with a girl who is jealous if he takes videos of other girls. The last couple is a girl who is waiting in the church for a guy in the mangaka story and a guy who is waiting in the church for a girl in the boy who likes book story. It is somewhat confusing though I’m watching this after liking the music in the prologue and the different anime styles that the makers are experimenting here.
It is Gundam time again and this time it is Gundam 00. The world is divide into three, Asia, Europe and America with respective solar rings for energy. Then, gundams appear like ‘gods’ or celestial beings who keep those who want to create more powerful weapons in check. Their motto reminds me of Pein’s from Naruto – use violence to end violence. There are four gundam pilots. First pilot is Setsuna who reminds me of Sagara from FMP! as he is a child soldier then recruited to be gundam pilot. Second pilot is Lockon who reminds me of Kurz in FMP! again since he is a sniper and somewhat looks like him. I think this is the first time I know of a sniper gundam ^^;; And I’m amused that he has a haro which help him by navigating the gundam while he is concentrating on sniping. Hehe Third pilot is Hallelujah who seems to be like Kira of GSeed who hates to kill but does so anyway. I think his gundam is like a transformer from jet to gundam. The fourth pilot is Tiera whom at first, I thought is a girl with glasses. ^^;; I realized otherwise when he talked. His gundam is bulky though I guess because his weapon is a huge cannon. The foursome somewhat reminds me of GWing though the fifth Chinese pilot has become a butler-type person in this series to a young Chinese girl. =P From the opening where there is this long black haired lady with Setsuna, I guess she would be the pacifist female role. Then, there is Graham who wants to fight them. He reminds me of Zechs also from GundamW. Anyway, so far so good, I like it so far and can’t wait to watch more.
The other mecha anime I’m watching is Dragonaut -The Resonance. Boy going to outer space with family that explodes when three meteors falling and it got hit. He lived a reclusive life after the accident is blamed on his father who is a pilot. He then meets a girl who claims to be there for him then gets chased all over the place by this group wherein his childhood friend is also a member. Soon, he learns that the girl is a dragon and there are even more dragons from the group trying to capture her. She tries to runaway after he showed fear upon seeing her in her real form. At the end of episode 3, he ends up with a guy who is a dragon and claims to want to protect the girl-dragon. I wonder how the guy would react since I think the girl dragon crashed into the shuttle he is riding that killed off his family. The story seems good but the dragons cg, I don’t quite like though it maybe partly because I’m not into dragons. ^^; Somehow as dragon-mecha, they remind me of Zoids. Haha, obviously I will not be looking forward to more dragon fight scenes. The red one becomes like a twirling folded umbrella like a top. ^^;; The story is okay so far. Then, I’m also watching Shakugan no Shana II even if I have not watched the first season. ^^; Anyway, I still find it entertaining even if I didn’t watch the first season. I just surfed a bit to know the terms they are using. A boy who has some special power with Shana to protect people from villains and then, a love polygon. From the opening, the fighting looks cool. Tokyo Majin (Second Act) is still the same as the first one with new enemies. I have watched Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei and it is only on episode 2 that I like it with the hikkomori girl and laughed when they drew Orangie from Code Geass on the blackboard. Even if I don’t quite like the story, I really like the artwork they did here. Hehe, seeing Orangie, reminded me that I have not watched the finale of season 1 yet. ^^; Moyashimon is about a new student in agriculture university who can see germs. It is quite entertaining and the germs are cute. Hehe I’m still updated with Bleach. I’m waiting for the last episode of Darker than Black before watching it to the end from when November 11 died. Edit: Well, I finished it today after realizing that it ended on episode 25th. ^^; All this time I'm thinking there is a 26th. As most people, I find the finale not that good or exciting and many questions unanswered. It is a so-so ending and overall, it is okay. I’m watching Katekyo Hitman Reborn! again though more on the episodes that I want to see. I’m surprised that they didn’t do all those filler-type stories in the manga. Unfortunately, this is like D. Gray-man, that while watching it, something seems to be amiss and I don’t like most of the seiyuu cast. Also, maybe background music is missing. Anyway, I just want to see the fights animated and that is what I’m watching here. Well, from the opening, it looks cool though the fight with Mukurou, it isn’t that good. Maybe with Varia, it will be.

Otomen [Chapter 8]

After school, Asuka is walking with Juuta. Juuta tells him that he was really afraid since he being mistaken for an intruder and they almost called the police. Asuka says what is he saying when he is indeed an intruder. Juuta protests that he is just worried about him. Juuta asks what happened to the engagement. Asuka looks a bit nervous. He is about to say something when a huge limousine stops in front of them. Nyuukou and her parents come out from the limo. Nyuukou tells him that they came to fetch him. Her father tells Asuka that they are going to have a celebration as thanks that everything went smoothly yesterday. They ask him to join them. Asuka is about to decline but his mother is also there. His mother gloomily yet smiling tells him to come along. Asuka is then forced to go with them. Juuta cries for Asuka as Ryou who is standing there asks what happened with Asuka. Juuta says that nothing is wrong as he tell Asuka mentally to do his best. On the way to the mansion, Asuka thought that he would definitely tell them that he likes someone else.
At the mansion, in the dining room, a feast is being served. Nyuukou’s father thanks Asuka for hitting the intruder when Nyuukou was very afraid and it is good that she is safe. Nyuukou’s father wants to give a toast by calling Asuka a prince. Nyuukou corrects him and says that Asuka is Nyuukou’s pretty prince. Her mother says of course, it is prince for a princess’ fiancé is a prince. Her father laughs and says that is right, a toast for the prince and princess’ future together. Asuka is distressed that he stands up and says, sorry for interrupting but the truth is.. [I like someone else] But before he could say that, his mother spills her wine on her hand. His mother laughs and says, that’s strange, Asuka, from your expression, it seems you are going to confess something. Creepily smiling at Asuka, she tells him not to scare her to death anymore for she would tend to think of what happened before, like saying ‘I want to be a woman’ of course that won’t happen. Asuka gets tense that he says that won’t happen and goes to sit back on his chair. His mother says that’s right, you are the brave prince who is protecting the princess, you shouldn’t have even a little bit of ‘being girlie’. She then apologizes to the others. Nyuukou looks at them, speechless then she asks her father if she can be alone with Asuka. Her parents agree as Asuka’s mother tells Asuka to be like a knight. Asuka again reminds himself to say it clearly.
In a merry go round, Asuka is sitting on a white horse while Nyuukou is on a carriage. Nyuukou calls him the prince on a white horse, it’s fun. She tells him that she wants a merry go round so her father made one for her. Everything that she wants, her father grants her wishes as if he is a magician. She is a princess and Asuka is the prince. Asuka finally tells Nyuukou that he likes someone else and even if it is an unrequited love, he still likes that person so he cannot be engaged with her. He apologizes for not telling it to her sooner. Then, Nyuukou says that she will tell it..tell his mother that he is really an otomen/pink prince..it seems he doesn’t want his mother to know this. Asuka is shock by this as he remembers his mother fainting and her life might be endangered. Nyuukou says that now they should go have a picnic. From the wall, Juuta is looking at the two through his binoculars and wonders what’s up with the picnic. He is worried so he came to see what happened only to find them having a picnic. He wishes that he can hear what they are saying. Then he thought that he is really becoming a spy.
Nyuukou gives Asuka an apple pie. Asuka thought it is cute looking then reprimands himself for it. He calls out Nyuukou’s name but Nyuukou didn’t let him continue. She tells him that this is Nyuukou’s magic apple pie because she ruined the crepes, so she did her best to make this one. Asuka relents and tastes it. Nyuukou asks if it tastes good. Asuka says it is. Nyuukou says it is because there is a magic ingredient in the apple pie. Nyuukou shows him a small bottle of sleeping potion. Asuka promptly falls asleep. Nyuukou apologizes and says but the prince and princess should have this ending so that they will live happily ever after. Juuta is shock over what happened and realized that Nyuukou is a black prince who appear angelic on the outside. Juuta wonders what should he do. He then sees Nyuukou dragging sleeping Asuka away. He wants to save Asuka but then, if he is caught again, he won’t be as lucky as before. As he fret about, his mobile phone rings. It is Ryou.
Asuka is dreaming of Ryou when he suddenly wakes up. He finds himself in a room with teddy bear angels as wallpaper. He wonders where he is then is shock to find himself dressed up in a prince costume. He opens the door and is shock to find Nyuukou wearing a gown with heart shaped roses bouquet and a small crown on her head. There is a huge teddy bear statue on top and a priest smiling at him. She happily greets him happy wedding. Asuka asks what is this about. Nyuukou tells him that this is their wedding. Asuka is shock. Nyuukou’s father tells him that he had the chapel made overnight since Nyuukou asked for it yesterday. Nyuukou happily says that her father is a magician. Her father laughs and says that he just asked someone to make him a chapel. Asuka is still a bit confused as he says that this isn’t how it should be. Asuka’s mother is holding a marriage contract and tells Asuka that it is best that they get married early. Asuka tries to protest but Nyuukou says that the prince and princess would then ride on a white horse to dream land. Her father says the honeymoon place and white horse is already prepared. There is a white horse outside the chapel. Nyuukou says then it will be happily ever after. Asuka is a bit tense and thought how can this be.
Ryou meets up with Juuta and asks what happened to Asuka for he doesn’t seem okay so she is worried about him. Juuta thought that he isn’t going to tell her about the engagement for Asuka’s sake but then, he would want Ryou to help out. Juuta has thought of something and tells Ryou not to be shock about what he will say. Juuta tells her that Asuka has been kidnapped. Ryou is surprised and asks who it is. Juuta says he was taken by some evil organization. Sweating, Juuta points to the mansion and says that it is their headquarters and there are many security guards so they can’t go inside. Ryou tells him what is he waiting for, there is only one thing that should be done and that is to rescue Asuka. Juuta tries to protest that there are guards. Ryou climbs up the wall and quickly punches the daylights out of the guards. Ryou says that she just hurt them a little bit. Juuta then pulls Ryou saying that Asuka is in this building. They then see a chapel – cloud-style roof, teddy bear angels and a bell on top with heart-shaped windows. Ryou says it is really an evil organization, it is quite unordinary. Juuta goes along with her and says that’s right.
Inside, the ceremony is already underway. The priest is saying in sickness and in health, do you swear that you will love him. Nyuukou happily says she will. It is then Asuka’s turn. Asuka thought that he has already decided. He says, I swear..that I will love only one person. He apologizes to Nyuukou’s parents and his mother for he already likes someone else. Outside, Ryou can’t open the door and notices the horse who also looked at her. Back inside, Nyuukou threatens to tell his mother but Asuka firmly tells her that no matter what, he cannot be with her until the end. Nyuukou starts to say that the prince and princess should end up together for a happy ever after. Then, the teddy bear angel display on top starts to crumble. It is about to fall on Nyuukou that Asuka quickly pushes her to safety – to her father. The statue is about to fall on Asuka as his mother cries out to him. Ryou on the horse goes into the chapel. Ryou shouts for Asuka as she reaches for his hand. Ryou then pulls him up on the horse as the statue falls down. Nyuukou’s father says that it seems that the chapel is faulty built. Her mother says that they should go out to safety. Nyuukou is speechless then says it is the prince on the white horse.
Ryou asks Asuka if he is hurt. Blushing, Asuka says he is fine. His mother then asks Asuka if that is the person he truly likes. Asuka admits it and apologizes for trying to deceive her. To his surprise, his mother is all sparkling and says that’s good, that is really ‘being manly’ – one should not use pressure nor be forced to get the treasure that he wants. Ryou agrees with her. His mother calls Ryou a good child for knowing what she meant. She tells Asuka that he should be like that, for a girl, he would protect her until the end. She becomes gloomy again and says this way, he won’t ever say, ‘I want to be a woman’, ‘Ever since before I want to be a woman’, nor ‘Honestly, I want to be a woman’ then would disappear and never to be seen ever again. She tells Asuka that now she is at ease and she can focus on her work overseas. Asuka is relieved. Her mother then explains to Nyuukou’s parents the situation and apologizes for the trouble. Nyuukou’s father is worried about Nyuukou but Nyuukou tells him that it is okay for she realized that Asuka isn’t prince for he is really a princess and the one who took him away is the prince – Ryou. Asuka and Ryou go out while riding on the horse. Nyuukou says this way, it is a happily ever after. While riding on the horse, Ryou asks what about the evil organization, is it okay to just let them be. Asuka asks what evil organization. Juuta says it is nothing. Asuka asks Juuta if he did something again. Juuta changes the topic and asks what are they going to do with the horse.
And this is the author’s version of Snow White. I think Nyuukou’s father spoil Nyuukou too much. ^^; She must get what she wants and it is quite scary that she would even go to the extent of blackmail and sleeping potions. I wonder how she would turn out when she grows up. ^^; I think she reads too many fairy tales. Hehe, I wonder who dressed up Asuka. In the end, Ryou saves Asuka from his predicament, thanks to Juuta. And, it seems that his mother approves of Ryou. That covers the parents, now to get Ryou as his girlfriend. Hehe

Kyouko looks at the cake she made and thought that Kura still has four days before he returns to the US. Pleased with her cake, she goes to serve it to Kura. While Kura is still in Japan, she plans to take a little advantage of spoiling herself a bit by still being his student. She will attempt by bribing him with her famous new cream coconut macha [Japanese green tea] ice cream cake. She happily thought that she will get him to teach her more about acting with the help of the cake. Then she remembered what Kura said about feeling happy when acting and ‘lonely’ after acting that if she experienced that then she will grow up fast as an actress so there is nothing much he can teach her. Kyouko thought, sensei, I still want to be your student, to continue to be your child even if it will be just for four more days. While serving the cake, Kyouko drops a wedge of cake that she is about to put on the plate. She is shock when Kura told her that he is leaving tomorrow. Kura tells her that the time of his stay is quite short but the scheduled plan has been changed and it seems that he has to cancel his plans to go to Kyoto. Kura thought that he has anticipated that asking that favor from Kuon would be hard and he just used the pretext of ‘going back to my homeland to rest’ as a temporary stopover. That was his plan but unexpectedly, he has attained his goal earlier. Upon receiving Kuon’s videotape, he would want Julie see it as soon as possible. Kyouko is a bit sad about it and says, that’s really unfortunate. She then picks up the dropped piece of cake on the plate. Kura laughs and says apparently, not being able to see you work hard and become a passionate actress in the end, it indeed unfortunate that he can’t bring about her growth. Kyouko is in deep thought that she didn’t reply.
She then notices his hand outreach to her. A bit of tear in her eye, she holds his hand and says, take care, my beloved sensei. Kura says you’re wrong. While pounding one hand on his thigh, he points to the sliced cake saying that he wants that, it will quickly melt and lose its shape, more importantly, it looks delicious. He eagerly says, cake, cake as his heart is eagerly anticipating. Kyouko says that is hers for Kura’s is this. She then gives him the rest of the cake. Kura comments that even if his appetite is like that, it doesn’t seem convenient. While eating her piece of cake, Kyouko looks up to Kura to see him enjoying his cake that he uses the cake server to eat it. Soon, her cake disappears into his stomach. Kyouko smiles and says even if she wasn’t able to show off her talent, Kura leaving like this isn’t too bad. Kura then says that Kyouko is really good that she can make anything. Kyouko blushes a bit and says, is that so. Kura says it seems she helps around while preparing meals, did she learn it with her mother. Kyouko drops her spoon and looks dark. She darkly says no, mother didn’t teach me anything. Kura is a bit nervous for the situation is not good. He wonders if ‘mother’ is a taboo word. Kura looks gloomy as he remembers Kyouko telling him before that she lives with her mother and their relationship isn’t good. Kyouko tells him that her mother temporarily left her at that guy’s [Shou] inn so she learned how to cook and stuff. Kura says uh ah, that’s shocking, but the most important is to try out love. Kyouko says love as if it sounded from hell. Kura is even more shock.
Kyouko says most important to try what, that thing I absolutely don’t want to try it again. Kura is shock as he repeated in his thoughts what Kyouko said. Kyouko darkly says that she isn’t suitable, telling her to love, she has no confidence in it. I hope for father’s love. I don’t understand how to love. Kyouko says that she still doesn’t understand how to show one’s love. Kura asks a child giving one’s parents one did by one’s own hands, isn’t that a way to show one’s love. Kyouko says that’s right during meals though that is just for ‘show’. Kura looks surprised. Kyouko says if one can make one’s child receive happiness, anyone would also have that kind of confidence [in love], isn’t that so, she started to think that way. Kura looks a bit serious about that. [Note: There is another scanlation which is halfway through. They differ in this part. In the other scan, Kura tells her that she is good at cooking so she will become a good mother. Kyouko tells him that she doesn’t have confidence in giving others that kind of love. In that last line, she said if one doesn’t have the confidence of giving one’s child happiness then it would better not to have given birth to her.]
Kyouko perks up and changes the topic. She asks Kura what kind of person is his wife. Kyouko thought that she doesn’t know much of Kuon’s mother so she would want to know a bit of young Kuon’s mother. Kyouko asks what kind of cuisine/food does she make. Kura smiles and says apparently, she always do things urgently that the taste of the food she makes is really fresh and mysterious that not everyone want it. Kyouko thought, really, it sound as if they aren’t delicious. Kura continues that his wife is the type of person, like a girl, who would give importance in making/eating meals. Kura sighs as he tells Kyouko that Kuon doesn’t like that type of cuisine that he really hates it just from its smell. This is when Kuon is around 5-6 years old. Kyouko is shock for Kuon is looking depressed that she mentally apologizes to him and asks him not to continue anymore. Kura continues that whenever Kuon would think of eating, tears will flow from his eyes..that child..when I want to see his happy face, I can’t see it anymore. Kura is all gloomy and dark that Kyouko is freaking out that she has infected Kura with her gloominess. Kura says from that time on, bit by bit, while growing up and it is his fault since that child’s smile starts to disappear. Kyouko is surprised. He tells her that in the US, as an actor, he has to work really hard, and that child feels anguished/pain. Both he and his wife are busy at work that the situation didn’t change and continues with that kind of atmosphere. That child cannot break away from that difficulty. He and his wife truly loves that child from their heart and believes that he will have happiness but for that child, it isn’t like that. Kura then thought to himself, if the happiness is not the same as the happiness he thought then many times, many times I feel that he [Kuon] continues on [being like that] until it reached the extreme point/state. Kura is looking really sad and depressed that Kyouko looks a bit sad for him.
She remembers Ren asking her as Kura’s son, there is no reason for pain else it won’t be like real script. [Basically, Ren is saying that Kuon doesn’t feel pain towards his father, else Kyouko wouldn’t have acted that way as Kuon.] Kyouko thought reason for pain, just like this, she has no way of knowing what’s it like to be an actor’s son so.. Kyouko asks Kura happiness, is there really no happiness. Kura looks at her. Kyouko tells him that while she was Kura’s son, there are many times she feels happiness – she feels happy, she feels excited, she feels anticipation, she cries, etc – so after the ‘practice’ ended, she can’t bear but want for it to continue, with the feeling of wanting to continue on ‘as Kuon’. Kura looks at her in surprise. Kyouko slightly smiles at him and says that she feels that Kuon would also be quite arrogant that she assess that when meeting Ren, the feelings he had would be the same since he would also say and do the same thing – [she] used ‘Kuon’s feelings, to feel’ like that. Kura is shock and after a pause, asks, really. Kura starts to fret and says, what, really, about before, you were not going to surprise attack me, you were not playing around, didn’t I won? Kyouko angrily says that he is cruel. She thought that Kura doesn’t plan on letting her win in acting out Kuon. Kyouko tells him that she is really surprised that while playing, she wasn’t exposed [being fake] that today, Ren acknowledges seeing it. Kura looks surprised and says, really, is that so. Kyouko smiles as Kura is also smiling. It seems that it is the same with him.
While making egg sheet rolls, Kyouko remembers that Kura’s ‘there is nothing more I can teach you’, doesn’t seem want to stay at her heart’s door, can’t be saved anymore but she really doesn’t want to see Kura’s painful expression. They are currently making sushi as his appetite reacted and he can’t help it. He tells Kyouko that he wants to eat sushi tomorrow morning. On the last night, Kura asks Kyouko to let him help her prepare it. He is fanning the cooked rice while stirring it [to mix with the salt-mirin-vinegar mixture]. Kura then says to temporarily leave it there then he is going to slice the ingredients. He quickly chops it with a knife into the bowl. Kyouko is shock at how good he is and exclaims that he is really good, he can do anything. Kura laughs and says it is quite normal, didn’t he mention that his wife likes to make meals. He tells her that making ‘family cuisine’ is no joke, so he and his wife would prepare the meals so he knows how to prepare meals and he is confident with his wrist’s strength. Kyouko says he is really great so if he wants to eat, he can do it himself. She asks why would then she be told to prepare for his meals when Kura can do it on his own with such great skill, Kyoto local cuisine. Kura is shocked so he quickly alibis that he returned to the country for vacation so won’t it be stupid for him to cook his own meals while on vacation. Kyouko thought, that’s right. Kyouko smiles and says didn’t he said that he is quite busy at work so being able to still make meals is really great like a ‘good husband’ or a ‘good father’. Kyouko says he is like a godfather. Kura tells her not to call him godfather as if he is the head of a mafia for his motto is love and peace. Kyouko says can’t she, she feels that the it is a good thing that the world’s common sensei can give one an impression of a father. Kura says that’s unfortunate, his love isn’t too big that it can spread out into the world, that would be more fitting for Lory. Kyouko says it isn’t so, since for her, he is the kind of father that she imagines in her heart. Kura blushes over this.
Kyouko confesses that she never thought of her father until now, like this kind of thing, she never considered it. While chopping, she sadly says she really wants a father like sensei...why. Kura is surprised then smiles. He says what stupid talk are you talking about. Kyouko is surprised and says that’s right, I’m sorry, this is just my dream. Kura says that she should change how she said it. Kyouko looks at him in surprise. Kura tells her that wasn’t he a ‘father’ before, and you are father’s son. Kyouko remembers when she is playing Kuon, Kura tells her that she is father’s son. Kura asks didn’t they just experienced what is it to be father-child, before you called me father, didn’t you already said it. Kyouko thought yes, if that is so. Kyoko crying tells him, can I? she will be really happy if he will mentor over her once again, will she be able to become a great actress. Kura says why are you talking like a newbie actress, once again, after teaching, there is still a mountain high accumulation of things that needs to progresses. He grabs her head and says how can he spoil a child and just leave her be. While holding her face, Kura says listen up! Love and family can help a person grow up, student Kyouko, can also be said, my cute child, if you know that, stop crying, if you cry, you are not my child. Kyouko thought that that sensei is a bit angry as he lectures her and at that time, she didn’t hear more of what he said. Like this, sensei will be going back to the US tomorrow. In my mind, the memories with sensei kept on moving, this time, I can really say, ‘father’.
Yup, this chapter is more bonding of Kyouko and Kura. Finally, Kyouko has experienced what it is like to have a father – parental love. I can actually imagine if ever Kyouko and Ren becomes a couple, Kura can really be her father. =P I think Kura has somewhat heal Kyouko. About her acting progress, I kind of think that Ren will have something to do with it. I feel sorry for Ren. No wonder he has a trauma/phobia about eating, thanks to his mother’s cooking. It goes to show that Kura can eat anything. =P Still, I don’t think that just because she is an awful cook, he would call her ‘that person’. The time when she started feeding him that food is around the time when he met Kyouko. I somewhat think that what happened to Ren has something to do with both parents being too busy at work aside from wanting to succeed like his father in acting. Well, Kura is leaving, I’m sure Kyouko will see him off. I wonder if the author will be nice to show us how Ren looks like Kuon in the next chapter. Haha, it is only now I noticed Kura’s wrist band that it is the same as what Ren used to wear when he first met Kyouko. He really does copy/admires his father when he was young. =P

Takami and others put on their bracelet passes to the amusement park. Takami tells the others what would they do first. Both Megumi and Kazeoo say they want to go to the haunted house. This surprises Takami. Takami narrates that her friend Megumi, her boyfriend, Kazeoo and Akira are on a double date in the amusement park. Three days ago, Megumi shouted to Takami that she just had a boyfriend and they would go out on their first date so would she and the prince [Akira] go with them. Takami said she will asks Akira if he can go. Back to the present, Megumi and Kazeoo are surprised that they both like scary stuff. Takami is a bit nervous and asks Akira what about him. Akira says it is okay. This made Takami more nervous. In the haunted house, Megumi and Kazeoo goes ahead of them. Takami looks scared when Akira tells her that they should also go in. Both Megumi and Kazeoo find the scary monsters cute and interesting. Takami is freaking out while trying to pretend that the monsters are cute. Akira is suppressing his laughter. He then holds Takami’s hand which made Takami freak out some more. She asks if Akira is afraid. Akira says if Takami is afraid, she should tell him. Takami exclaims. Akira asks her if she is afraid of supernatural things. Takami denies that she is scared of such things. Akira says is that so, so I’m mistaken. He lets go of his hand but Takami quickly grabs his hands. While holding his hand, Takami shouts that she would go and lead him. Akira tries to suppress his laughter as he remembers when they were young, while walking home after piano class at 6pm, Takami would freak out over a cat who suddenly come out of the bushes. She would scream then shout that it is a cute cat. Akira would try to suppress his laughter.
Outside the haunted house, Megumi and Kazeoo exclaim that it was fun. Takami is just relieved that she made it outside. Takami then put her knees on the ground. Akira asks if her knees are okay since she is bending. Takami forgot that her knees are exposed since she is wearing a skirt. Takami then sits by bending her knees. Akira says that it is rare to see her wearing a skirt. Takami explains that it is because Megumi told her to be like a girl on the double date so that Akira will be surprised even though Takami says why should she when she isn’t going out with Akira. Takami complains that she should have wore jeans but Megumi has forced her to wear skirt and high heels. Akira asks why. Takami is about to say that it is uncomfortable and she can’t walk properly when she noticed Akira also bending, copying her position. Akira says it suits her and it is very.. Takami blushes and quickly covers Akira’s mouth to stop him from continuing what he is saying. Then, Megumi calls out to Takami. Takami quickly stands up and asks what is it. Megumi tells her that even if she was the one who asked for the double date, if Takami doesn’t object, could they go their separate ways. Kazeoo says he want the two of them to stroll around together. Takami smiles and agrees. Kazeoo is holding Akira’s hand saying that he will do his best. Takami wishes Megumi luck as Megumi says she will. Megumi tells her to do her best, too and this made Takami puzzled.
After they left, Takami says that there is no purpose of staying there anymore. She asks Akira if he wants to go home. Takami thought that honestly she wants to play around more but then, Akira doesn’t seem to find amusement parks interesting. Looking at the ferris wheel, Akira says when he think about it, he never once came to the amusement park and to play there seems to have already past. He asks Takami if he can stay there for a while. Takami looks at him in surprised and thought, not have played before. Flashback: young Takami is excited that her brother invites her to the amusement park. She told him that she will ask Akira to go with them. She went to Akira’s house and the doorbell is answered by Akira’s mother. Takami happily said that she is Akira’s friend and she would like to invite Akira to go with her to the amusement park. Akira’s mother coldly told her that Akira is currently having piano lessons with his teacher, so would she just go away. Takami is shock as Akira’s mother slam the door at her. End flashback. While looking at Akira, Takami thought until the end, she never got a chance to go with Akira because that kind of situation kept on happening many times. I really don’t understand Akira’s parents, not wanting to go to the amusement park to play, his parents must be very strict. Akira asks if Takami wants to go home. Takami snaps out of it and says that she just thought of his mother. She then apologizes. Akira asks why. It turned out that Akira’s mother has suddenly passed away around the time when Akira reaches junior high. Takami happily smiles and tells Akira that they are going to have lots of fun. Akira smiles and says yes. Today, we are going to make lots of memories.
There is a huge line to ride on the roller coaster that they would have to wait around 2hours and 15minutes. Takami weeps and says that they should just ride a different ride. Akira asks didn’t Takami wanted to ride on this. Takami says but the wait is too long. Akira says he doesn’t mind waiting. Takami asks, really. When Akira affirmed it, Takami brightens up as they lined up for the ride. After two hours, when it is almost their turn, a conductor says that they would have to wait longer since the ride has to be stopped for a short time because of a slight malfunction and they are going to fix it. Takami decides that they go ride something else. While still depressed, Takami points to a popcorn stand and says that they should cheer up by eating that. She asked Akira what flavor would he want, vanilla or caramel. Akira says that he wants caramel. It turned out that the seller has sold out the caramel popcorn and only vanilla is left. Akira tastes it and says that it tastes good. Takami tries to perk things up as she quickly turns around and says that ride doesn’t have many people lining up. She loses her balance and falls flat on the ground. Akira asks if she is alright. Takami cries over the spilled popcorn. Akira says he doesn’t mean that but is she in pain. Takami then says her foot hurts. Akira looks at her foot and says that the skin is peeled off. Takami freaks out and shout out loud, no wonder it hurts. Akira asks when did it start to hurt. Takami laughs and says that it is the time when they separated with Megumi and her boyfriend. Akira says is that so, sorry, he should have noticed it earlier. Takami says there is no need to apologize. Akira says that they should go to a place where they can treat it.
It is already 530pm when an announcement says that the park will be closing at 6pm. Takami is sitting on a bench waiting when Akira comes back with some bandages and popcorn. Akira says that the worker is very nice that he was given many bandages and all sorts of sizes – small, medium and large. Takami says that’s great. Akira says he also bought some popcorn so they can eat it together. He then gives her the popcorn. Takami apologizes to Akira that the time that they could be having fun is spent on him having to take care of her. Takami thought that she had wanted to create lots of happy memories. Akira then tells Takami to bear the pain a little bit. To Takami’s shock, Akira is carrying her. Takami is freaking out as she shouts for Akira to put him down for the popcorn is spilling. Akira tells her that he wants to ride that one – ferris wheel. Inside the ferris wheel, Akira looks out and says that everyone below looks so small and he even sees Megumi and her boyfriend. Takami looks at him in surprise and asks why didn’t he say earlier that he wants to ride on this. Akira smiles at her and says that today, he had fun, he is happy. Akira bends down and puts a bandage on Takami’s foot. Takami asks why is he happy, he shouldn’t mind her and honestly, he isn’t happy, right? Akira says he is being honest since he is not saying that just to make her happy, he is really happy. He tells that he doesn’t know how to ‘play’ [go about that place] so he is happy when she accompanied him. Being with her becomes memories so he is very happy..because she is there.
Takami blushes over what he said and says if he is happy then that’s good. Sitting opposite her, Akira gets a piece of popcorn and tries to feed her. He tells her to open her mouth. Takami is surprised. Akira says if she does this, he will be happy but if she doesn’t he will be sad. Takami is angry for being cornered. When she finally relents and opens her mouth, the conductor opens the door and says it is time for them to go down. The conductor then smiles and says sorry for disturbing. Takami is very embarrassed by it. Akira says too bad as he stands up ready to go down. Takami quickly holds Akira’s wrist and asks the conductor if they can ride it again one more round. The conductor agrees. Akira asks if she really wants him to feed her. Takami shouts of course, not, I will eat by myself. She then shoves mouthfuls of popcorn into her mouth. Akira says that isn’t fun. Takami shouts of course it isn’t fun. Since you said that you were happy, then let’s ride your favorite ferris wheel one more time until the time of the happy memory is over.
And their date ended with not much reaction from Takami except the usual blushing from Akira’s nicely chosen words. =P I guess it is something for her to agree for him to feed her a popcorn. I’m somewhat amused that Takami being brave and everything is scared of ghosts. Somehow, she reminds me of Asuka from Otomen. They are opposites and their love life are also opposites yet they have some things that are the same. Akira’s parents does seem very strict that Akira doesn’t have a social life – studies and piano lessons. It is amazing that Akira turn out okay..well, maybe that is thanks to Takami. ^_^

Still in the flashback, while Nnoitra and Aporro are arguing about Nnoitra should talk to Aporro more respectfully after all he did helped him defeat Nel, Nnoitra is shock to find that Nel has turned into a kid in Bleach [c.295]. Aporro theorizes that it must be because of the cracked mask that her powers escaped and made her weak. Nnoitra laughs at Nel and thought that it seems that they won’t ever have a chance to cross swords again. Nel wakes up and wonders where she is and asked the two who they are. Peshe realizes that Nel has lost her memories and so they decided to keep it that way and they just promised to themselves that they will protect her at all cost. Back to the present, Peshe comes out of the rubble. Aporro is now torturing Renji by destroying his muscles one by one. Aporro is surprised when something splashed on his wing and hand that is holding the dolls. Aporro drops the dolls and Peshe catches them. Pesche calls out to Dondo to release the hollow caterpillar that they used to ride on before. Dondo releases it from his mouth and it quickly takes Peshe on its back. Ishida is shock that it came from Dondo. Standing on top of the caterpillar, Peshe explains that they kept it a secret from Nel so that Nel won’t remember her past but now that Nel is fighting, they don’t have time to deal with Aporro. They are going to fight back. Meanwhile, Nnoitra is taunting Nel again that Nel decides to release her zanpaku. Well, the two are indeed Nel’s sidekicks as most arrancars/espada have sidekicks that they are extremely loyal to their ‘boss’ even if they are maltreated like Tesla. ^^; I wonder if Peshe and Dondo can fight against Aporro. Oh, I just realized that unlike the other side kicks who look humans, they look like a hollow because their masks are ripped off. Also, I wonder if Nel in transformed form can fight with Nnoitra. I mean she can beat him up a bit but what if he also transforms.
Pein summons out a lobster which spurts out some liquid to help Konan escape from Jiraiya in Naruto [c. 374]. Pein tells Konan to retreat as he goes to fight with Jiraiya. Jiraiya manages to defeat the lobster using his hair and capture Pein. Jiraiya tells him that he has many thing he wants to ask like where is Yahiko. Pein tells him that he is already dead. Jiraiya wonders what happen to the Nagato to told him before about wanting to protect Yahiko and Konan. Pein goes to tell him that because of many pains and deaths that he transcends from being human to a god. When asked what he plans to do, Pein tells him that he wants to put an end to the fighting in this world. When asked about the tailed beasts, Pein tells him that he has a technique that can used them to become a most powerful weapon. Jiraiya angrily shouts that will only cause more wars. Pein explains that he thinks it will end when a country got that weapon and actually used it. Everyone would then realize that pain that they would suffer from it then there would be peace. Then, Jiraiya realizes that the Pein he caught is just a piece of wood. Pein calls him from the other side. Jiraiya tries to show off by making a pose while calling his frog but ends up flat on the ground when he slipped. Pein has summoned his beast, a chameleon with horns and a snake for its tail. Pein muses that Jiraiya is as clumsy as before. Jiraiya is embarrassed as he shouts at his frog for moving the ground when he is posing. Frog vs Chameleon? Pein’s chameleon looks more fierce than Jiraiya’s though Jiraiya’s looks more human-like so it has brains, well, it can talk. Hehe I wonder who gave Nagato/Pein the idea of being a god. Perhaps, Mandara? It does seem he has experienced too much pain that he has sealed his feelings and thought of himself as a god. Anyway, it is fighting time again.
Luffy has lost his grasp on Moria’s shadow in One Piece [c. 474] as he worries that it will be morning soon and he will become ashes but all he can do is shout for Moria to fight him. Meanwhile, Zoro is testing his new katana on Odz and he seems pleased. Odz is angry and tries to step on them. Usopp insists that Zoro takes it easy and believe that Luffy will take care of Moria to get everyone’s shadows back. Zoro tells Usopp that he believes Luffy but Luffy has a weakness and that is being easily tricked so he seriously doubt with the abilities that their enemies have, they would let Luffy fight them squarely. Zoro tells them that they should at least get Luffy’s shadow back rather than for all three of them [Luffy, Sanji and Zoro] to have no shadow and can’t fight back. Franky says that it will be around 30 minutes when the sun will appear though the mist covers it. To their surprise, the ship moves and goes outside the mist from the triangle because the helm was destroyed by Odz earlier. The zombies are going to inform Moria about it but Moria says it is okay. Moria is already talking with Kuma whom Moria said to be the only one among the seven seas who actually obeys the government. Moria asks what does he want. Kuma asks where would he want to go if he goes to a trip. Moria tells him to quit it for he knows of his ability so what does he want. Kuma informs him that Blackbeard has been appointed as the successor of Crocodile. Moria asks if everything is okay then. Kuma says it isn’t for they are now worried that Moria, another seven seas would be defeated by the Strawhats after the incident in Eneas Lobby. This made Moria angry that he is being belittled that he tells Kuma to tell the government that he will make the Strawhats members of his zombie army.
Back to Zoro and others, they were surprised that they are no longer protected by the mist. Usopp freaks out when he sees Moria in Odz’s belly as Moria laughs at them for standing around when it is almost dawn. They wonder where Luffy is. Odz is surprised that there is a control center inside him and he feels like a robot. Moria shouts that he will give them a chance to defeat him but they would have to defeat Odz first. Zoro and others decided to give it a try since their goal is now more simple. Zoro tells Usopp to go get lots of salt for Odz. While Usopp hurriedly goes to find some, Moria tells Odz to stop Usopp and destroy any way going to the kitchen. Everyone freaks out over Usopp as Odz smashes Usopp into the wall. From the smoke, they heard someone saying that Usopp is alright and he got a bagful of salt. It is Brook. Mm..I begin to wonder if Luffy will ever get to fight in this arc. ^^;; Maybe Nami will meet up with him later on for I have a feeling he is lost. Blackbeard is now a seven seas, could it be because he defeated Ace? Well, Moria decided to fight after his pride is hurt about the government worrying that he might lose but then, as he is lazy to fight his own battles, he just orders Odz around. I’m surprised that Brook has already gotten the salt. I’m thought he is still lying around somewhere. ^^;; I think Brook’s speed will be an advantage vs Odz. It does seem that Kuma’s power has something to do with asking where one wants to go.
Allen shouts to the shadow that Ticampi belongs to his sensei and what does he mean by ‘musician’ in D. Gray-man [c. 132]. Allen also asked how is he. Allen thought he feels uneasy when he thinks that the shadow is the same as in the dream. Allen is then shouted at by Cross on his earring earphone as to what is he doing, stop the transfer, did he find the room. Rinali also asks if he is okay. Allen notices that the two sound close together that he quickly shouted to Cross if he is touching Rinali. Cross shouted that he is carrying Rinali because the ground is almost gone. Rinali is embarrassed as she shouts for Allen not to worry about him. Cross asks if he see a piano and he should play it. Allen freaks out for he doesn’t know how to play. Cross tells him that Ticampi has the music sheet. Ticampi releases from its mouth some sort of piece in a round symbol. The shadow says it is Allen’s piece and he should play it. Cross tells Allen to hurry up for the egg-shaped contraption is almost transferred. Below, Miranda and others were depressed when the ark disappeared. The Earl is rejoicing over this as Rhode noted. A woman with Rhode asks if the Earl is happy over destroying the ark because of the 14th, then why is he crying. The Earl denies it and left with his new ark. Allen starts to play the piano. Rabi wakes up and finds himself back at the tower with unconscious Chaoji. The whole ark starts to rebuild itself – the library where Crowley is lying unconscious to the place where they left Kanda who is surprised that he is alive. Rabi exclaims what is happening, the ark has rebuilt itself. Obviously, Allen plays an important role and lots of questions arise like what Allen has been asking, how is that shadow, obviously the 14th, why is he the musician, etc. Anyway, everyone is alive again so maybe the next chapter would be more on explanations and reunion.
Mukuro tells Glo not to be too surprised for the illusion he is seeing isn’t just an ordinary one thanks to the Vongola ring and his own power in Katekyo Hitman Reborn! [c. 165]. Ken taunts Glo by calling him mushroom head and saying that Chikusa is the only one should wear glasses there. Mukuro muses that Ken and Chikusa haven’t changed. Glo attacks using an twirling octopus tentacles at them while shouting that they should all disappear. Ken goes into gorilla form to stop the attack. Glo is shock for it is just an illusion yet it seems real then thought that they aren’t based on real things so he should just make them disappear. Mukuro laughs at Glo and decides to become serious. They attack again and while fighting, a tentacle goes to Chrome’s direction. Then, it is back to Tsuna’s group. Gianini is saying something about the data is not enough at Kokuyou. Tsuna says they can’t just wait around if it is indeed Glo. Then, some noise sounded and Gianini is saying something about that it is the secret assassin group. Back to Mukuro’s group, Chrome is injured on her shoulder but she tells the others she is alright. Glo tries to make the three vanish which made Chrome afraid. Mukuro asks Chrome what does Glo think of them. Chrome decides to focus as the fire in her ring glows. Chikusa becomes two and attacks. To Glo’s shock, he is actually hurt by the yoyo attack. Glo tries to convince himself that it is just an illusion then he is hurt again but it turned out to be a piece of rock. Multiple Chikusa appears and attacks Glo. Mukuro hits him with the final blow as he tells Glo that he is unlucky that he fell into his plot. A loud boom and smoke is coming out of the building. Someone outside is saying if they are late, is that guy okay, that was pretty extreme. Blurb says future ‘Sun’. Sorry if the summary is a bit crappy, I’m still getting used to their Chinese names since I read the past chapters in English. Well, it is only after the story introduces Mukuro that I really got into Reborn. ^^;; Anyway, the story is so far, introducing the future selves of the cast and fighting with the new enemies who were after the rings. Going to the future seems a bit confusing but then, they might say that the future of ‘deaths’ is just one possibility of the future happening and it isn’t permanent. I forgot the term usually used. Hehe Mm..I guessing that the Mukurou who fought with Glo is the future Mukurou since only the future selves seems to have the ability to fight against the enemies there. I think they would be in a bit of trouble if past Hibari goes into the future since he won’t know about the boxes. Anyway, I’ll include this series in the future weekly jump sums.
With his katana drawn, Nakamura Kyojirou tells Gin that Yu Chang isn’t in the world anymore in Gintama [c. 185]. Gin quickly uses his hilt of his bokuto to smash Kyojirou’s fingers that is holding the katana. Kyojirou quickly takes out his gun but Gin kicks him away. Gin then sees that his left arm is wounded. Gin angrily asks what is this about. Licking his bloodied fingers, Kyojirou says didn’t he said it is too late to get that stupid son out. He tells Gin that everyone is stupid for they weren’t able to see nor hear his voice, they would still believe that the son is still alive. It is all the old guy’s fault for still trying to go get his son from the clothing store and because of that son, he can’t become the head. In the end, when the old man dies, he will see his son afterwards. Gin angrily asks if he was the one who killed Yu Chang. Kyojirou says that he is the one responsible for Yu Chang and when he went in the storehouse, he is the only one who could go in. It seemed like a game yet if something happens, he would be the one responsible so when he died, they just replaced him with another yakuza since the heir is someone whom they can’t depend on. Some more yakuza appear behind Kyojirou. Gin suddenly feels sick as Kyojirou says that he thought that stupid people won’t be affected by poison. Gin realizes that the wine Kyojirou offered is poisoned. Gin tries to fight them as the yakuza were after him. At the bridge, he is already surrounded. Kyojirou shoots him with his gun in the abdomen. Gin smiles and falls down the bridge. The yakuza goes in the water to find Gin. Some yakuza came with news that the boss has passed away. They were happy for Kyojirou. To ther surprise, Kyojirou just tells the others to let Gin be for he will die from that wound and just left even while a yakuza is telling him what would they do if the others knew what happened.
At the funeral, everyone were gossiping about Kyojirou who could have killed Yu Chang even when the boss was the one who took Kyojirou in. Kyojirou is lying down beside the riverbank while another yakuza asks if it is okay for the others to be gossiping. Kyojirou says it is true so he doesn’t care. He tells the guy to leave him alone. He closes his eyes and remember the past. He was caught by some yakuza and the boss took him in. When he first met the boss, he wasn’t scary at all and it is the first time he saw a smiling adult. The boss introduces him to his son, Yu Chang as a friend and that Kyojirou will be responsible for protecting him. From a wild dog, he became a house dog. He actually felt happy because he felt he was needed. One day while walking with Yu Chang, a yakuza tries to attack Yu Chang so Kyojirou protects him. The boss quickly goes to the room when he heard that Yu Chang was attacked. He finds Yu Chang crying while Kyojirou’s eye is bandaged. Yu Chang goes to his father but the boss hugs Kyojirou instead and cries. Compared to his beloved son, he was worried about his wound and even cried for him. His tears were warm, Kyojirou thought. Back to the present, Kyojirou is standing in front of many yakuza and a bald guy is in front. He bows to the guy. Kyojirou thought that he who has no family, from that time, even if they are not blood-related, just for boss, he will voluntarily do anything for him no matter what. This is what he has decided but. Kyojirou bows down to the bald person in front. The bald guy offers him to drink some wine which is good for tried people but the bad thing is when other people drink it before you. Kyojirou looks a bit nervous as he sees everyone else suddenly falling down. He is then surprised when the bald guy is kicked down by Gin while holding a cup. Gin greets him and asks if it is his birthday, congrats. The blurb says Gin is alive [but of course], what is Kyojirou’s secret and true feelings are?
I guess Kyojirou didn’t really kill Gin. Hehe, maybe it is tomato ketchup. ^^;; It turned out that he is really devoted to the boss so maybe this bald guy was the one who forced him to do that. Also he is being nice in a way that when Yu Chang was killed, he still kept on making the boss believe that he is still alive so that his boss won’t be too hurt over what happened. So, when he died, he would see his son again. The flashback shows that Kyojirou isn’t after power and because of the boss’ kindness, he is willing to do anything for him. He isn’t even bothered with the rumors spreading around. It seems that Gin did his homework that he appeared there when that bald guy seems to plan to kill Kyoujirou.

Ren looks surprised at his father who just told him that his mother has only three months left to live. Ren says three months to live..that sounds quite realistic that I was worried a bit that it could be true. Kura says is that so, honestly, he also had the same reaction [as Ren] when he was told about it. Ren says that person’s pet phrase is ‘Only have 00 life left’ and would say one week, a day then it would be just three minutes. Kura says so it could be said that since that joke is always used, it seems that it isn’t a joke anymore. This goes to show that her feelings are at its most extreme limit and the reason is because while out of the house, doing her work, her beloved son has disappeared from sight. Ren looks a bit distressed that Kura tells him not to have such an expression for it isn’t his fault. This is the entire fault of the tempting kidnapper who snatched you away like a wind when I clearly said to wait for Julie to come back. It is also his fault that Julie kept on crying that she won’t talk to him for half a year. Ren is speechless. Grabbing Kura’s collar, Lory says oy when you saw your own son self-destructing in your very own eyes and not be able to do anything about it yourself, who was the one crying and begging for my help. A note says that Lory is the kidnapper. Looking away, Kura says ..no, this and that thing is different and he is easily excited then. Kura says if Lory has followed the plan then he wouldn’t have to bear all the times when Julie shouting, ‘I want to see Kuon’ and the times she wants to go to Japan. Crying and holding his chest, Kura says that he is also crying at that side for he is always scolded by Julie, ‘I hate you’ so he has no choice but to think that way. He tells Lory that he should understand when someone you love says ‘I hate you’, it is like one’s heart has been sliced into pieces. Ren looks surprised about this. [I guess he doesn’t know about it] Kura whines that she even said, ‘Enough of you! Because in the end, I can see Kuon’ that he wasn’t able to say goodbye properly. Seeing Kuon crying, Lory finally says..okay, it is my fault, I’ll give you Kaki-P, don’t cry anymore, you fool. Ren smiles. [Maybe because he realizes that his father really cares for him contrary to what he thought.]
Kura then happily eats a bag of Kaki-P [permission seeds and peanuts] for it has been a long time since he has eaten them so he is satisfied. Lory sighs and tells Ren that is how it is, for Julie up to now, still remembers of him as when he soon disappeared so she wants to see in her own eyes that he is living a good life and is safe, not through letter or picture but see him moving and talking so that she will be at peace. Lory adds not as Ren Tsuruga but as Kuon. Ren looks serious but doesn’t react much. Kura tells him consider his [Ren] own feelings for becoming ‘Kuon’ again, he might feel as if he ‘is defeated/has lost’ that he doesn’t want to do it. Kura assures Ren that even if he rejects, it is okay. Flashback of Ren telling Lory that he has decided to return to Japan in that form to become a Japanese actor ‘Ren Tsuruga’ that he can depend on his own strength to succeed and return back to his country so until then, even for his parents, he won’t go back to being ‘Kuon’. End flashback. Lory says that is how it is and if he wants to do it, he would have to call someone to prepare. After a pause, Ren says I really don’t want to do it... Kura is downcast. Ren continues, just for a few minutes, calling back Miss Jelly Woods from vacation. Lory and Kura look surprised as Ren smiles at them. Lory smiles and says don’t worry, on the contrary, she must have gotten tired of Haiwaiian fickleness and it should be said if she learns that Ren called, she will use such surprising power to come back. Ren laughs at this. Kura is confused about what they are talking that he tells Lory that he doesn’t follow the conversation and who is Jelly Woods. Lory tells Kura that he is quite slow, didn’t he understand when he saw Ren’s expression, he is saying that if it is just for a few minutes, he agrees to become ‘Kuon’. Kura is surprised. Lory is still explaining to Kura that Jelly is the beautician whom he entrusted to Ren [to change his appearance before] but Kura isn’t listening as he is very happy. He exclaims with tears of joy, that’s great, Lady [Statue of Liberty], Huu --!! I can go home now!! Go back to Julie’s side with a smiling face.
Kura quickly turns around and thanks Kuon/Ren. He confesses to Ren that honestly, Julie complains about wanting to go with him to Japan that she finally relents when he told her that he will give her a video of Kuon instead. Even if she isn’t really an actress, she won’t lose to an actress even if he and she are of a different category, isn’t it strange? Kuon laments if Ren rejects then Julie will really not talk to him again. Ren thought it turns out that what you said ‘if you reject, it is okay’ is just a hollow statement. Kuon is relieved because truthfully, he actually prepared his heart for the possibility of being rejected because Ren is quite firm when he resolves something. Ren smiles and says that when he left the house with Lory, his feelings were in chaos that he doesn’t consider his parents feelings but now, if he can give a message, he is happy if that would make that person feel at ease. Ren is looking at Kura when he said that. Kura is a bit surprised and then he smiled as he calls him Kuon. Lory is smiling then he stands up and says, okay, then the rest should be left for tomorrow. Lory tells Ren to quickly go back there after he finished work so that they can quickly change him and tape the video. Ren agrees. Kura is excited and says, if that is the case, I, too.. Lory tells him that he doesn’t need to come. Kura is shock and asks why. Lory explains that even if Jelly knew that Ren isn’t Japanese, she doesn’t know Kura and Ren’s relationship and didn’t Kura said before, ‘In this world, no matter what kind of mischief God does, no one should know that they are related as father-son.’ Lory tells him that since he was able to wait this long, he should be able to bear to wait some more. Kura is disappointed. Hearing this, Ren somewhat smiles to himself. [that ever since before Kura has told Lory about not letting anyone know of their relation] Lory tells Kura that if Julie would have to depend on the video and bear with it, it isn’t fair that only Kura gets to see the 100% live Kuon. Kura exclaims that’s right, that cannot be. Kura sighs and says he understands then he and Julie will have to both wait until the day when they can see the real 100% live Kuon again..until the day when Kuon can use his own strength to go back to their side, he will leave Kuon up to Lory. Looking at Ren, Kura says if that is how it is, if he is going to give his mother a message, could he add something for his father, too, he would be happy. Ren smiles and stands up. He says, alright, I will. These past five years, my true feelings for my parents
not using concealing words and expressions.
Night turns into day. At studio no. 3, Kyouko in her Mio outfit is looking gloomy as she is murmuring to herself. Itsumi asks what is wrong for she is fearful so early in the morning that her expression looks scary, talking to herself. Kyouko notices her and she quickly stands up and bows to greet Itsumi. Itsumi greets back and asks again what’s up with her scary expression. Kyouko apologizes for having that kind of expression so early in the morning but her face becomes like that whenever she thinks of the plan for today that feels she should just bite her tongue just to make herself relax a bit. Istumi asks what plan, is it about work that she looks quite pressured. Kyouko says yes then no and says it is in respect with work but then it can also be said it is a private thing. Kyouko becomes gloomy again and says that it could be said that today is her death anniversary. Itsumi is worried about her. Kyouko perks up when she hears someone telling the director that Ren has arrived. Ren and Yashiro are greeting the staff a good morning when they were surprised to see Kyouko looking dark, greeting Ren a good morning and addresses him as Ren-sama/boss/big person. The two wonders what’s with the ‘-sama’. Kyouko is kneeling on the floor continues to say the small person’s [herself] day will be a lucky or ominous will depend on him, relatively, this clear working day, the big person’s feelings should be quickly overturn. She tells him that towards, sempai Ren-sama, not long ago, small person has done many rude things that small person thinks that big person is really angry so she is taking advantage of that lucky day that small person will pour out her feelings. Ren bends down to her and asks what were the rude things she mentioned. Kyouko looks surprised. Ren asks what exactly were the rude things she is saying. Kyouko says about yesterday at San Rai tv station, when she met him and said those rude things that she even called him by his name. Looking serious, Ren asks called by his name, how did she called him by his name. This has scared Kyouko that she is writing her last will. Crying, Kyouko gloomily says..executed..could he wait until Dark Moon has finished filming. Ren then nervously tells her that it would be too troublesome, he doesn’t understand why it has to end in that conclusion. Yashiro thought that it is because you are playing bully, when you really just want her to call you by name. Imaginary Kyouko blushingly calls out Ren’s name. [Basically, Ren wanted to be called without the suffix as if they are close, and obviously, it failed. ^^;]
Later on, Kyouko has explained to them as Yashiro exclaims that it is quite unexpected that she is actually playing Kura’s son. Kyouko says that is right that while she is acting, she can’t clearly explain to them so she is sorry. Yashiro says it is okay, and that got to be the year’s biggest surprise. Ren is thoughtful all throughout then asks did she attain anything while acting as his son. Kyouko says it seems there is yet it also seems there is none. Ren asks why does she hide it. Kyouko is confused. Ren says hiding it to that extent, did something painful happened between her and him [Kura]. Kyouko is surprised and quickly shakes her head. Ren says isn’t that good, if pain is not the reason, then it is okay if she says it clearly. Ren asks her if she has grasp Kuon’s feelings. Kyouko thinks for a while and then smiles and nods. That absolute feelings of confidence, expectation, respect and love appear in her eyes [when she is playing Kuon], it is like seeing myself. A flashback of Yashiro asking Ren didn’t he ask his father to play hero games with him. End flashback. I have not played those ‘hero games’ because I don’t find those fake heroes interesting. Since I was young, my father is my hero, then and until now. Kyouko is now raving to them about Kura as Ren happily listens to her. She tells them that she believes that young Kuon absolutely likes his father so much that he has become a ‘daddy’s son’. Ren says that’s right. Yashiro says it mustn’t be the kind of ‘like’ that Kyouko exaggerates. Kyouko insists that it is an absolute love of a loving father and a loving son. Ren laughs and says that right. Yashiro doesn’t seem to believe it.
Haha, that is quite amusing especially since Kyouko didn’t know that the one she is talking about is right in front of her. Didn’t Ren and Yashiro have feelings of déjà vu? Hehe This pretty much confirms that Kura isn’t the reason why Ren left his home. How could anyone hate a guy who is happy when given a snack? ^^; I actually thought before that Ren doesn’t like his father that is why his eating habits are the reverse of his father’s. ^^;; Well, it turned out that Kura is the one who decided that he must do something before his son self-destructs that he even bear being separated from him and the anger/grief of his wife when she finds out. I admire him for that since he is quite selfless. This whole chapter verifies to Ren that the father whom he loves is still the same for Kura would did all those things for him. Now that I think of it, no wonder he is asked to help Maria about her father problem for it won’t make no sense for Ren to talk to Maria about being in good terms with her father if he isn’t in good terms with his father before. So, I’m guessing it could be his mother whom he kept on calling, ‘that person’ or maybe some other things – pressure to succeed and be like his father whom he admires so much, that he has to leave home. So, Ren is going to transform to Kuon for a few minutes. I wonder if Kyouko will get to see that. I’m also curious how Jelly would look like. She seems to like Ren from Lory’s description. If she hangs around Ren, would Kyouko be jealous? Hehe Well, that depends on how Jelly looks like and how would Ren look as Kuon. It will be a bit of waiting since from the raws of chapter 112, it is just more of Kyouko-Kura bonding. Hehe, bonding with future? father-in-law. =P

Asuka just brought in the laundry when the telephone rings. Asuka is surprised that it is his mother who just called. A short flashback again of his mother learning why his father is divorcing her and her mother fainting. Then, in the hospital, his mother is telling Asuka not to become like his father. Back to the present, his mother tells him that she is in the airport and will go head there soon. After hanging up the phone, Asuka quickly takes out a carton box and put all his girlie stuff inside. He quickly throws the wastebasket’s contents all over the place to make the room appear dirty and throws the laundry all over the place. He is going to keep a small teddy bear when the doorbell rings. He opens the door and it is his mother. He welcomes her. She hugs him and says that he has grown taller. Her mother is happy that he has grown taller and looks like a hero so he really is like a man. Asuka nervously says that he is happy to hear that. Her mother apologizes for making him live alone for even if she wants to return to Japan, there are many things to do in the company. She notices that the laundry all over the place. She happily cleans it up and says what should she do with him being all messy but then, that is what a guy does. Asuka nervously thought that’s good. His mother is going to say that he should get a cleaning helper when she notices something. She turns around and with a scary aura, asks Asuka what is this thing [a small teddy bear] doing here. Asuka is flustered for it is the one he is knitting last night. As he tries to think of an explanation, his mother laughs and says that she is just kidding. She tells him of course it is from a girl who gave it to him as a gift because Asuka cannot be like his father who is a guy yet likes girlie things and then would say something like, ‘I want to be a woman’. His mother looks gloomy and dark so Asuka shivers in fright. His mother says that Asuka is now at the age wherein girls give him gifts. Asuka asks why did she come back, is there something important happening. His mother turns around and happily tells him that on Sunday, he is going with her to see his fiancé. Asuka is surprised.
During lunch at the abandoned building, Juuta and Ryou are happily eating Asuka’s baked cookies. Juuta is making some idle chat about wanting this not only during lunch and if he skip class would Asuka sever ties with him. Juuta realizes that Asuka is not listening as Asuka is about to eat a little teddy bear. Juuta quickly shouts that it is not a cookie. Asuka snaps out of it and nervously looks at Ryou. Asuka remembers what he and his mother talked about the other day. Flashback: Asuka asked what is this about a fiancé. His mother said that he will be 18 that year and he could have fallen in love with someone. Asuka thought of Ryou. His mother said but that is just an illusion for in those days when she met his father, they talked about love and she really thought he is her life partner that she married him even if her parents objected. His mother said and that is how it ended – ‘I want to become a woman’ by his father. His mother happily told him to relax since she found a good match for him in order for him not to be fooled by his feelings. Asuka asked why she did that. She said that she won’t let Asuka experience the same mistake and be tormented by it. She said that she is really, really worried about him. She then almost fainted that Asuka quickly caught her. Her mother said that she cannot think of that for she easily weakens and faints even the doctor said that if she fainted again, her life would be in danger so would Asuka please make her at ease. End flashback. Asuka thought that he wants to make his mother at ease and if she knew that he is an otomen/pink guy, he already likes someone and reject this family business [fiancé thing], her life would be in danger. Asuka decides that he should endure this and just make his feelings for Ryou to disappear. Juuta is going to say about Sunday when Asuka shouts family business. Juuta asks what is the matter for he is just asking what is he going to do on Sunday, how about the three of them going to the amusement park. Asuka remembers that on Sunday, he is going to meet with his fiancé. Ryou says that she wants to ride on different rides. Asuka apologizes and says that on that day, he has something important to do. Looking at Ryou, he is then on the verge of tears that he quickly apologizes and runs away. The two wonder what’s wrong. Juuta thinks that something is up for Asuka to reject a date with Ryou.
On Sunday, Asuka is dressed up in a suit as his mother drives him to his fiancé. His mother tells him that the purpose today is to just meet each other and let the girl’s parents see him. She hopes that Asuka will get along with the girl. Then, they arrived in front of a grand mansion with a lawn – European style, I’m guessing French. Asuka is shock and wonders if this is still Japan. His mother says that she is also shock when she first saw it. She tells him that they are a very trusting and graceful people she knew from work. Two foreign-looking couple greets him and introduces them their daughter, Nyuukou. [I think it is suppose to be a western sounding name but I’ll just use the romanji of the name. Her name means ‘into fragrance’] Holding a teddy bear, Nyuukou greets him. His mother and her parents then have some tea inside. Her father say that they were a bit worried at first since Nyuukou is a bit quiet but seeing Asuka being manly and like a knight, he is now at ease. His mother laughs that the two families will become one family. From the wall of the mansion, after looking through the binoculars, Juuta thought so that what happened. He has followed them on a taxi. He wanted to go closer but then that would be trespassing. He noticed someone who looked like a delivery boy at the gate. He asks the man if he can go with him inside since he is going to meet with someone. The man is a bit surprised then says sure and that gate is already open. Juuta looks around and sees a huge castle for children with all the animal displays.
Asuka is shock when he saw it and asks where are they. Nyuukou says that it is where she lives. Going inside, Asuka asks if she lives there alone. Nyuukou says yes since she is the only daughter but it is okay since she [her teddy] accompanies her and from then on, Asuka will also live there. Asuka then remembers Ryou. He quickly berates himself for thinking such things at a time like this. Nyuukou tells him that she is going to cook something so would Asuka please wait for her inside a room. Nyuukou opens the room and it is filled with stuffed animals and the seat is a tree stump. [It is basically like being in a forest. I kind of think it is Snow White-themed ^^; ] Nyuukou says that she likes cute things but guys don’t seem to like those. Asuka is about to say he doesn’t mind but Nyuukou is already at the door and telling him to wait. After she left, Asuka sits on the tree stump and thought that the room is really cute. He hears a scream that he quickly goes to where Nyuukou is. Nyuukou tells him that she has ruined the crepes that she is making for they are burnt. Asuka offers to do it and made some delicious looking ones. Nyuukou is very pleased and asks Asuka if he likes to cook. Asuka denies it and says it is nothing special. Nyuukou goes to serve it on the table. Asuka hears a tapping on the window and is surprised to see Juuta. Asuka asks what is he doing there. Juuta says that he should be the one asking that. Juuta asks him what is he doing for Asuka and Ryou aren’t lovers yet and he is already getting close with another girl. It is like Asuka is implementing his way of thought [being a playboy]. Thinking of his mother, Asuka says that someone will be heartbroken to death. Juuta says that Asuka always can’t bear others getting hurt but then, didn’t he told him before that he would forever love the one he loves. Juuta says that he is actually moved when he said that. Asuka is surprised. Juuta says that he wants his shoujo manga lead to have those kind of feelings. Asuka asks what shoujo manga. Juuta quickly says he is basically saying that it is strange so does Asuka really want to do this.
Nyuukou then calls out to him from the door. Asuka looks out the window again and Juuta is no longer there. Asuka wonders what kind of special ability [to read through him] Juuta has. Nyuukou asks if it is Romeo. Asuka is confused. She says that outside the window is a prince on a white horse. She tells him that they should eat the crepes. After tasting it, Nyuukou says it is delicious. Asuka then remembers Ryou saying the same thing after eating what he cooked. He starts to think over what Juuta just said about loving forever the one he loves. Asuka says out loud that it is right, what is he doing. Nyuukou perks up. Asuka thought that he knew he is just lying to his feelings and that he should tell the truth to Nyuukou. Asuka stands up and is about to tell Nyuukou when an alarm rings. Asuka asks what is it. Nyuukou says that there is an intruder. Asuka wonders if it is Juuta. Nyuukou then thought of something that she wants to go out. Asuka tells her to wait for the security. Nyuukou says it is the alarm from her bedroom and her things will be stolen. She calls out Juliet. Inside the room, they find a man [the delivery guy Juuta met earlier] going out of the window while carrying a huge bundle and a teddy bear on his other hand. The man is angry that he was seen. Nyuukou calls out to Juliet, her teddy bear. The thief asks if she is talking about the bear. Nyuukou asks him to return it. The thief refuses saying that it must be expensive antique even though he thinks it is just a dirty doll. He says he doesn’t know how the rich thinks but seeing them living like that makes someone poor like him angry.
Nyuukou angrily says that Juliet is her friend. She charges at the thief shouting for him to return it. Nyuukou holds the teddy’s body while the thief is holding the head. Nyuukou pulls it and its head is ripped off. Nyuukou is shock as the thief gets angry. He grabs Nyuukou shouting that it is all her fault that the teddy bear broke off. Asuka quickly hits the thief..it is a knockout..almost..immobilized but still conscious. Holding the teddy’s head, Asuka says that this isn’t an ordinary thing for this is Nyuukou’s friend. The stuffed toys and dolls there cannot be replaced by money. The maker has poured his/her heart into making them so everything in that room shouldn’t be thought lightly nor laughed at because everything there is cute. Nyuukou is surprised. Still on the floor, the thief says a guy like him.. Asuka says that is right, even if he is a guy, he likes cute things and cooking like an ‘otomen’. Asuka asks Nyuukou for the teddy’s body then he sewed it back together. Nyuukou is very delighted and thanks Asuka. Asuka says that she might think of him as a strange guy and she might actually came to hate him so about the wedding. Nyuukou says no..Asuka likes cute things and can even cook and sew. Nyuukou smiles at him and says, he is very cute, she wants him. Asuka is surprised. A scene of Ryou smiling. The last scene is of Juuta being caught by the security saying that they found someone suspicious. Nyuukou’s parents say good work. Juuta thinks of Asuka to save him.
And so, Asuka just made Nyuukou like him more. I find the first part funny where he pretends to be manly for his mother by messing things up. His mother seems to think that things will be okay for Asuka if she set him up in an arranged marriage. Her trauma is really quite bad, I guess but then, any woman who ended up marrying a gay would probably also be in a trauma over it. Somehow, I kept on thinking that Nyuukou is quite young for him. ^^; Honestly, for me, I also don’t think that a guy who can cook, sew and likes cute things is such a major turn-off. Hehe That thief is really something..he could just leave the teddy bear and spare himself the trouble of fighting over it with a girl. I mean, how low can he get? Good thing Asuka is there to teach him a lesson. As for Juuta, I guess it is partly for friendship he advised Asuka as he did but then, I think he is just doing it for his manga.

After the festival, school has resumed again. Takami yawns as she goes to school and to her surprise, three girls calling out to her. They shout that they have something to ask of her. In the classroom, pictures of Akira and Takami are laid on the teacher’s table. Takami asks what is it. A girl happily asks didn’t she know that these pictures are circulating in campus. Takami asks why are they being circulated. The other girls then show her of posters and fans of Akira. The girls rave about Akira. Takami casually says, is that so. The girls shout that she react that way because she is Akira’s playmate so she monopolizes him. The girls then ‘attack’ her as they ask for more information about Akira like his height, weight, blood type. Then one of them says her picture is also sellable so she takes pictures of Takami. Takami freaks out. That week’s Saturday, with Akira, Takami walks listlessly as she remembers the hoard of girls who were after her for information on Akira and wanting to take her picture. Akira notices this and asks if she is not feeling good, they can just go home. Takami is surprised and says that she is fine. Akira tells her if there is any problem, she can tell him. Takami says that it is just 3Q. Takami remembers the commotion of the three girls that has drained her energy. Today, I’m going out with Akira because their piano teacher Aizawa gave her movie tickets. Then, two girls approache them and ask Akira if he is Akira Sasaki. Akira and Takami looks surprised. The two girls ask if Akira has joined the prince-princess contest at Johoku Festival. Akira says he did. The girls were thrilled and asks if they can take his picture. They use their mobile phones to take his picture. A girl then asks if Takami was with him at the contest. Takami says she was. The girl says the prince is really cool.
Seeing the time [10:10am] at the clock, Akira takes Takami’s hand and pulls her saying that they should hurry or else, they won’t make it in time for the movies. The two girls are disappointed. Looking at the girls, Takami asks if it is okay to leave his fans. Akira tells her yes, watching movies with you is more important. Takami blushes as she thought that saying that makes her happy a bit. At the movies, the receptionist tells them the movie ‘Letter’ will be showing at 10:25am so those watching go to the left side to the 5th Hall. After sitting inside the theater, Takami asks Akira if he knows what kind of movie it is. Akira says he saw the commercial and it is a romantic tearjerker love story. Takami says that she likes action movies better. Akira points out that the movie is now starting. A scene in the movie – a sick girl hooked up in a machine communicates with a boy by writing on a pad of paper. The girl writes that it is such a nice music. The boy says that’s right for the toys manufactured lately are quite good. He is playing on a toy piano. The girl writes that the machine is obstructing the music. End scene. Takami is on the verge of tears as she cannot believe that she is crying when she doesn’t like this kind of movies. She thought that she is moved by it that it is quite embarrassing. She tells herself to endure it and not to cry. To her surprise, Akira offers her his handkerchief. Blushing, Takami takes it and says bad habit. Akira just smiles at her. Looking at the handkerchief, Takami thought how did Akira knew when to give her the handkerchief.
After the movie, the two were walking while talking about it. Akira says that the movie is quite moving. Takami didn’t answer as she is thinking how did Akira knew she was crying. When Akira calls out to her, Takami is surprised as she shouts yes, the movie is quite moving. Akira says especially near the end where the piano is played. Takami shouts yes, yes, watching it made her cry. Takami then is embarrassed as Akira tricked her into saying it. Akira laughs and apologizes. Takami says she really likes the music played as she is moved by its melody. Still laughing, Akira points out to the movie pamphlet that it is called ‘Letter’. Takami is embarrassed that Akira is making a fool of her. Takami says nevertheless, she really likes the music for it is like the music of a music box so she will buy the soundtrack when it is released. Takami thought that she wants to listen to that piece again. Then, Akira asks if she would like to go to Club Blue for it is a café in the morning. Takami perks up and says she would love to eat some snacks. Smiling, Akira says that’s great. Takami slaps Akira’s back and shouts that Akira must be hungry, he should have said so. Akira plays along with that. At Club Blue, Kawachi [I named him He Nei before. He is the owner of the club] welcomes the two. He tells them that they would have to sit outside because the place is already full. Akira asks a favor from Kawachi if he can play on the piano. Takami is puzzled by this and thought doesn’t Akira want to eat. Kawachi tells him it is no problem. Kawachi introduces Akira and tells the customers to listen to Akira’ playing. To Takami’s surprise, Akira is playing the ‘Letter’. The customers are talking that it is from the movie. Takami asks if he knows how to play it just by listening to it once. Akira says he has heard it many times in the commercials. After remembering that she said that she wants to listen to that music again, Takami is a bit embarrassed as she wonders why does Akira know a lot about her.
Sitting outside the café, they are eating. While eating pasta, Takami says that she is really shock. Akira asks if would be better if he didn’t play for it ruined her want to buy the soundtrack. Takami is embarrassed as she says that she is happy about it. Akira smiles and says that’s good. Takami asks if Akira has super powers to read her heart for he gave her his handkerchief in the movie and played the piece. Akira laughs and says that it is because he knows her for such a long time. Takami laughs and says that’s right for they practically grew up together and it is a shame for his fans. Akira asks why. Takami says it is because they are childhood playmates so he treats her differently. Akira looks a bit sad about that and says it isn’t because of that. Takami asks if he said something. Akira just says that the wind is strong. Takami notices two girls approaching behind Akira. Takami wonders if they are fans. Akira sure has a lot of fans. Would they want to take a picture, too? Takami is shock to see one of the girls is holding out a pair of scissors. Takami instinctively holds Akira’s head to protect him but the scissors has cut her arm. Akira is shock as well as the two girls. Takami angrily shouts at them what are you doing, do not point sharp objects to another person. In fear, the girl says that she just wants some of Akira’s beautiful golden hair. Takami shouts even if they are fans, they shouldn’t do this kind of thing.
Takami asks if Akira is okay. Akira says he is okay as he pulls Takami’s hands from him. He became angry when he saw the large bleeding wound on Takami’s arm. The two fans shiver in fear when Akira glanced at them angrily. Akira tells Takami that they should go inside and have it bandaged at once then go to the doctor. The two girls complain that that Takami is being crafty that Akira treats her differently because she is a childhood playmate and Takami monopolizes Akira even if they aren’t lovers. That girl then shouts what’s the big deal about giving them a bit of his hair. This obviously make Akira angry that he turns around and asks for the scissors. Akira then cuts off his hair bangs. Dropping the hair on the girl’s hand, Akira says that he can give his hair to her, no matter how much she wants but because she wounded Takami. The girl tries to protest that it wasn’t deliberate. Akira coldly says that he can’t forgive her and she should have apologized to Takami. Takami is surprised by Akira’s words. The girl falls to her knees and cries why does he treats Takami differently, what if she was his childhood playmate. Akira says it isn’t important whether she is a playmate or not, I just want to be beside Takami. This surprises Takami. Akira tells Takami that they should go and have the wound bandaged. As they enter the café, the girl holds on Akira’s hair on the floor. She is crying as she apologizes while the other girl tries to comfort her.
Inside, Kawachi calls out to them telling them to come with him into the staff room. Kawachi apologizes for he has seen everything from inside and says that he will be just outside [attending the customers] so if they need something, just call him. Akira says it is okay and thanks him for the first aid kit. While putting some ointment on Takami’s arm, Akira tells her to say if it hurts. When she shout, Akira tells her to bear it a little and not shout. Takami asks if Akira is a dentist or a S [sadist] king. Akira says that she is stupid. Takami defends herself that she isn’t for he said to say it when it hurts. Akira says he doesn’t mean that but because of others, she exerted effort that the result is quite the contrary for he should be the one thinking of her safety. Akira apologizes. Takami remembers what Akira said earlier that he just wants to be with her and it isn’t because of her being his playmate. Takami pulls his head towards him as if to kiss him but to Akira’s dismay, Takami just clicked her tongue as Takami is teasing him. Takami smiles says she also wants to stay beside him so it is alright. Akira is about to call Takami’s name when Takami flicks his forehead. Takami says but she doesn’t like gloomy faced Akira for didn’t he always tell her to smile a bit. Akira smiles and says that it hurts. Takami laughs and says that she deliberately made it painful. Akira calls her S queen. Yes, the most important is, I want you to be smiling beside me. Afterwards, Akira’s fans grew more. In school, Takami is surprised when a male student asks her of Akira’s three body measurements.
I guess the prince-princess contest has made Akira quite popular and somewhat like a celebrity. With fans like those, Akira wouldn’t want to be popular at all. The girl who wants his hair is really too much. She has already hurt Takami and would still insist on having Akira’s hair. I guess she is running on her emotions rather than her brain since she didn’t thought that she may have the hair but Akira came to hate her for what she did. It is too late when she did apologize and also realize too late that Akira likes Takami hence the special treatment and it is not because she is a playmate. Just when Akira thought that Takami is going to kiss him, Takami ruins the mood. I guess the disadvantage of being a childhood playmate is Takami is immune to Akira’s charms. ^^;

Ichigo wants to help Nel as Inoue tries to stop him since he is still injured in Bleach [c. 294]. He ended up being kicked away by Tesla and Inoue caught again. Tesla tells them not to interfere between Nnoitra and Nel’s fight. Flashback: Nel has just defeated Nnoitra but refused to finish it with a deathblow saying that if she did, she would be like a beast with no morals. After she left, Tesla tries to help but Nnoitra angrily told him not to be chummy with him for he is still more powerful than Tesla. Tesla asked why does he kept on picking Nel and not the other espada. Nnoitra says that he can’t stand that a woman is stronger in fighting. A short scene to the present wherein Nnoitra taunts Nel, asking what does it feel to be killed by someone whom she called a beast. Back to the past, Nel is looking for Peshe and Dondo but finds Nnoitra instead. There is an explosion when she sees the two with their masks ripped off. Nel angrily asks if Nnoitra did it but as she turns, she is quickly hit in the head and tossed out along with Peshe and Dondo. It turned out that Nnoitra has teamed up with Aporro. Nnoitra says that she is more powerful because of experience so while she is healing her wounds, he will use the time to make himself stronger. Nel is indeed a nice hollow that it made me wonder what kind of life she has when she was still alive. Nnoitra is such a male chauvinist. ^^; I guess the other woman arrancar watching Ichigo-Grimmjow fight should ranked lower than Nnoitra. Well, that isn’t surprising since Nnoitra doesn’t fight fairly.
Jiraiya is surprised to see Nagato’s eyes in Naruto [c. 373] and he deduced that it is a rinnegan which is one of the three famous eye techniques and said to be possessed by the founder of ninja. Jiraiya decides to train them. That night, Nagato is crying over killing someone just to save Yahiko. Jiraiya comforts him saying it isn’t his fault since he protected Yahiko. He gives him some advice to be human by knowing what it is to be in pain that you don’t want others to be in pain. Basically, he is saying that revenge isn’t the way. Nagato says that Yahiko is the one who fed him and Konan so he will do his best to protect the two no matter what kind of pain he has to endure. After three years of training, Jiraiya left them as they are able to fight. They were all sad when Jiraiya left, satisfied. Back to the present, Jiraiya says he has heard of them from time to time until the news of their death. Konan says that Jiraiya doesn’t know what happened to them after that. Jiraiya says indeed he doesn’t know but what Akatsuki is doing is wrong. Pein has just arrived and tells Jiraiya that it is his own conclusion. Seeing the eyes, Jiraiya asks if he is Nagato and why didn’t he grow up ordinarily, so what happened. Pein says he doesn’t need to know because he is an outsider. Mm..I do wonder if they would indeed kill off Jiraiya because he is still their teacher. Konan didn’t even kill off Jiraiya’s hostage when most villains would. Since it was shown that Madara is ordering Pein around, I’m guessing that Pein isn’t the main villain here especially from the flashbacks. I wonder if he became the way he is now was partly because of something happening to Yahiko.
Nami has beaten up some animal zombies to know where the treasure is in One Piece [c. 473]. She is furious that Perona tries to take it with her along with Sunny. While running on the bridge, Nami thought it is strange that it is so narrow and well-made. [Hehe, it is made by Franky] She then sees Odz upside-down. She freaks out and pretend not to see it as she runs along. Odz angrily shouts that he is going to beat them up but he realizes that he can’t get up since his horns are buried in the ground. Strawhats have an ‘evil’ happy glare on their faces and goes to attack. Odz manages to free himself and is really angry while the Strawhats quickly run for it. Usopp and Chopper trick Odz by saying that there is some delicious meat at the left. Odz looks where they are pointing. He then goes down on his knees when Zoro and Franky hit the back of his knees. Franky and Usopp want to wait for Luffy to defeat Moria but Zoro and Sanji, maybe also Robin, plan to really defeat Odz. Zoro wants to test out his newly acquired katana on Odz. Nami arrives at the seashore and shouts for Perona to stop. Perona is going to use her ghosts on Nami when Kuma arrives. Perona knows who Kuma is and shouts it out that it made Nami and the other zombies freak out as to why a seven seas is there. Kuma asks where Moria is. Perona says she isn’t with Moria anymore and she is leaving. When asked where she wants to go, Perona said to go to somewhere behind an old castle with malice and singing some cursed song. Perona then plans to take Kuma’s shadow for Moria as a farewell gift while Kuma is writing something down on his book. When Perona is going to attack, she suddenly vanishes as Kuma waves his ungloved hand to her. It made everyone freak out and send all the zombies running away. Kuma then addresses Nami asking if Luffy has a brother. Nami says he has so what of it. While leaving, Kuma says it is his business. While shaking in fear, Nami wonders what Kuma wants with Luffy. Meanwhile, Luffy was tricked into catching Moria’s shadow. Soon, it will be dawn. Haha, totally forgot about the deadline. ^^; I kind of think Kuma’s abilities has something to do with asking the victim what one plans to do then maybe he teleports them to where they want to go after writing it down on the book. If Nami follows Kuma, maybe she’ll meet up with Luffy who is looking for Moria, too. Obviously, Kuma is going to talk about what happened to Ace.
The first scene in D. Gray-man [c. 131] is of the Earl playing a piano and there is a huge baby-android head with headphones on top. Below, Froi [Kanda’s sensei] seems to be using dolls to fight with the akuma. Marie then hears something. They look up and sees some squares appearing lined up in circle and something appearing inside it. The earl is playing and the black ark appears. They then see the white ark disintegrating that they worry about the others. Inside, Cross tells the two that inside the ark is something that makes the akuma. He then orders Ticampi to transfer them to that place. They then see the dead bodies around which Cross defeated earlier. Behind them is an egg-shaped contraption which makes akuma. Cross points out that it is now being transferred to the new ark and if it is finished transferring, that will be the end for them. Allen asks what should they do. Cross says that they are going to stop it by starting the ark again so that the egg won’t be transferred. Allen asks if Cross knows how to do it. Cross tells him that Allen is the one going to do it. Allen is surprised. Cross then started to say some incantation and says he is going to delay the transfer so Allen should head to the room to start the ark again. Allen freaks out shouting that he still doesn’t understand what Cross is saying. Cross says there is no more time so Allen will go with Ticampi and when he gets there he will know what to do. Allen shouts why me. Cross says because he is the only one who could do it.
Allen then wakes up on a sofa and finds himself in a room. He stands up and from the window, a shadow of someone appears. The shadow says that this is the 14th's secret room that even the Earl doesn’t know. Allen realizes that it is the one from Rinali’s dream which he saw after being defeated by Tiki before. The shadow then points to the piano saying that it is his key. Allen looks at the piano to see Ticampi on the piano. Allen looks a bit stunned as the shadow says My Ticampi, ‘Allen’, ‘Ticampi’, the two has the ‘power of musician’. It turned out that Allen and Ticampi are both the musician. I guess Ticampi is the equivalent of the baby head for the Earl. It is really interesting how Allen is similar with the Earl. Not only do they have the same type of sword, now they seem to have the same ability. After re-reading the last chapter, the 14th's responsibility is being a musician. The only thing I can think of is as I wrote before is that Mana is the 14th and somehow passed his abilities to Allen or maybe the 14th is Allen’s father..well, if Allen isn’t some ‘test tube’ baby. ^^; I think they can save this ark so that at least, they would have an ark of their own. Since they might get the egg that produces akuma, I wonder if the next part, the akumas/villains would be a bit different as most of them exorcists weapons would need a revamp since most are already wreck/destroyed, if ever they are still alive..I’m sure they are.
Gin and others were driven to a huge mansion in Gintama [c. 184]. They thought that they are now famous but it turned out that they are hired by the yakuza. In a room, they wait for the client while the yakuza underlings are scarily staring at them. Shinpachi is scared that they might be ordered to deliver some white powder [drugs]. The boss, an old man who is their client points out to them an storehouse. Shinpachi is tense for it might be white powder but the boss cries and shouts that he is asking them to get his son Yu Chang [I can’t find the romanji so I’ll use the Chinese name] to come out of that place. The trio were stunned. The boss explained that five years ago, Yu Chang never leaves the storehouse because he doesn’t want to be a yakuza but work in a clothing shop. One day, he left work and shut himself inside the storehouse. It has been five years since he last saw him. Gin says maybe Yu Chang is already dead inside. The boss says that they communicate through paper like he wants to eat or want something. A paper then comes out of the storehouse. The boss reads it that his son wants Animage, Jump and Pepsi Neo. The underlings quickly go to get them. The boss worries that if other yakuza knew of what happened, it would be problematic. He tells them that even if it his suppose to be his responsibility, he has no idea what he should do. Gin says to leave it to them. Kagura starts to fire at the storehouse using her umbrella. All the yakuza got angry for the young master could have died. They all calmed down when they saw a paper comes out from the door. In red, it tells them to go away forever. The yakuza were angry that it could be Yu Chang’s last words.
Another yakuza with a scar on his face tells them to calm down for the note is just written in ketchup. Gin asks who he is. Boss says it is Nakamura who is like a brother to Yu Chang from outside [world of yakuza] who understands Yu Chang more than his own father. Nakamura says to let Yu Chang be but the boss insists that he wants to see his son. Nakamura says it is too late and just let Yu Chang come out on his own so don’t cause more pain to Yu Chang for doesn’t the boss remember what he did to Yu Chang in the past. The boss is angry then starts to bleed that the yakuza quickly go to his side. That night, on the phone, Nakamura tells someone that everyone is staying beside the boss and they shouldn’t worry about him for he will bring food to the young master. He adds not to bother with the people whom the boss had called for help. He stands up and angrily looks at Gin who is sitting in front of the storehouse. Nakamura goes to Gin as he hears Gin telling Yu Chang isn’t he too much that when his father is sick, he is still calm. Nakamura tells him that the client is already sick, so staying there is useless. Gin says that the old man is going to die soon so he wants to see his son. Nakamura says so he had noticed. He pours a drink to Gin and tells him it is because the boss did something. Nakamura knows Yu Chang since he was young. Yu Chang is a weak yet kind person that he isn’t suitable in this kind of world. Yu Chang doesn’t mind his father’s objection that he goes to work at a clothing store. He happily working there until one day, his father came with his men and caused a commotion at the store. Yu Chang became like this, hiding inside storehouse is all because of his father.
Nakamura says isn’t the boss selfish for wanting Yu Chang to come out after what he has done. Gin says that there is no need for such an elaborate reason for it is a case of a father who just wants to see his son before he dies to be satisfied. A scene of the boss at the hospital asking if Yu Chang is there. Gin stands up and apologizes to Yu Chang saying that he doesn’t know what he is feeling but he is going to drag him to see his dad’s dying face. Gin approaches the door and realizes that it is open. Nakamura tells Gin to go in if he wants to, he doesn’t care anymore. Inside, Gin is shock to find a woman eating chips while watching tv. The woman asks if it is time to switch, isn’t it too early. Gin asks why is it a woman and who is she. From behind, Nakamura says that Yu Chang is no longer there..that person is no longer in this world. Nakamura is holding a katana behind stunned Gin. No wonder Nakamura insists on not getting Yu Chang to come out. Yu Chang is already dead and it seems that Nakamura is a traitor inside the group. I’m thinking that he is thinking if you don’t want to be the next boss, I would take your place so he killed off the son. If Nakamura killed off Yu Chang since before, that would mean the old man has been waiting to see his son for five years who turned out to be dead. If that is the case, I’m sure Gin will be very angry about it.

Christmas lights glittering amidst many lovers, Christmas is a most romantic night. While knitting, Asuka listens to the news. According to the report, it would snow around the 24-25th so this year, it will be a white Christmas. Asuka blushes upon hearing it that next day in school, he begins to daydream near an open window. While the snow is falling, the two of them, he and Ryou, will be sitting on a candlelit table, near a brightly lit Christmas tree. With lots of delicious food on the table, they have a toast, saying you are my Santa Claus. Asuka gives Ryou a handmade scarf and Ryou thanks him for it. They would then greet each other a Merry Christmas. Juuta is stunned seeing him then asks him isn’t he cold. Embarrassed, Asuka quickly closes the window and asks you are here. Juuta teases Asuka that he is thinking of Ryou since it is almost Christmas. Asuka denies it. Ryou says that is right for they aren’t Christians and it is usually a day to go out and drink with girls. Asuka tells him that is not how he view it but Christmas is the most important and romantic day to be with one’s loved one. Juuta blushes over Asuka’s point of view of that day. He tells Asuka so you are indeed thinking of Ryou. Asuka says what is he saying for they aren’t even lovers so how can he do that with..
They were interrupted by Ryou who asks them if they are going up to eat. Asuka is flustered when he saw Ryou while Juuta has a teasing look on his face. Asuka wonders if Ryou would be with him on Christmas day. On the roof, it is windy and cold since it is December. After going down, they thought that they should find a different place to eat since their hair is ruined when they go down. It should be somewhere where others won’t kow of Asuka’s bento cooking. Asuka suggests ‘that place’. Juuta asks does he mean that isolated building that is rumored to be filled with ghosts. Asuka says that’s it. After school, the three went to the gloomy-looking building. The two boys thought that with that look no one would dare come near it. Upon entering, Juuta asks if Asuka is okay since he is afraid of scary things. Asuka says he is okay since he went there before. When Juuta mentions that place could really have ghosts, it made Asuka pale. They opened a room and it is all messy and spooky looking. Juuta says that they can’t eat there in that place but then, there are no other places they can go. Asuka goes to the locker and gets some brooms, cloth and pail. Asuka tells them that if they can’t find a place for them then they make a place for them since he doesn’t want to lose that space where the three of them are together. Juuta and Ryou happy to hear that.
They then clean up the place with Asuka supervising them. Juuta muses that Asuka really knows housekeeping. Ryou asks about the skeleton. Asuka tosses it into the locker. Soon, the place is all neat and tidy. Juuta finds something bundled up. They wonder what it is. The two boys thinking it is a zombie. Ryou opens it up and it turned out to be Christmas tree. Ryou is surprised to see an undecorated tree. The two boys were surprised that she has never seen one that they asked didn’t she have a Christmas tree in her house. Ryou says they never celebrate it because of her father. A scene of her father shouts, this is Japan and we are Buddhists. Ryou asks what’s with Christmas. Asuka says Christmas is a bright, romantic and happy day. Ryou is really interested in it that Asuka suggests that they celebrate it together. Juuta says that they can’t arrange it since Monday is near and most restaurants are full booked. Asuka says that he plans to celebrate it there after all they have a Christmas tree. Ryou quickly agrees. Juuta thought why is he invited when Asuka just wants to be with Ryou. Juuta tells them that he has a date with some girls on the 24th. Ryou tells him to change it to the 25th. Asuka agrees and that it is already school break, but school isn’t close yet. Juuta is speechless over the happy twosome. Asuka tells Ryou that he will prepare everything that it will be really a great Christmas. Ryou happily says that she will eagerly wait for it. Soon, Asuka has decorated the room and he is satisfied with it. The room is filled with Chrismtas decors, decorated Christmas tree, and candles on the table. That night, Asuka finishes his knitting which he will give to Ryou. It is snowing.
Asuka dreamt of Ryou having dinner with him and exchanging gift. He wakes up and sees that it is snowing...but too much that it has become a snow storm. From the news, it is feared that the snow storm won’t stop on that day. Asuka worries that if it snows too much, they won’t be able to celebrate Christmas. Asuka tries to call Ryou but he can’t connect to her. Asuka says maybe he shouldn’t go since if they did, they might not live long enough to reach the destination. Asuka remembers the day when they bid each other goodbye and that they will meet at 5pm. Since Ryou eagerly awaits it, Asuka decides to wait until that night and just prepare the dishes. Asuka finishes cooking and packing the roast chicken, Chocolate yule log cake and other dishes around 4pm. Looking out, Asuka sees that the storm haven’t weakened and wonders if the others went or not. He thinks that even if they want to go, they can’t go. He imagines the three of them eating then he looks at the food that he had packed. He finally decided to go as he dressed up and takes the bags with the food in it.
Asuka keep on walking yet he doesn’t see where he is going anymore. Then, he doesn’t know where he is anymore for he felt that he has been walking for an hour already. He tries to tell himself to keep awake for he can’t stop there. He likened it to climbing up a snowy mountain. Then, there is a large wind came. Asuka hears a voice calling him. He looks up and sees Ryou as an angel, smiling at him. Asuka asks if he can rest there. Angel Ryou says what is he saying, he is about to reach the mountain. She points up to a hill with a Christmas tree on top. Asuka then wakes up and finds himself buried in snow. He thought that was dangerous then notice that he is already in school. Asuka thought that he has indeed reached the mountain. He enters the room and no one is there. He sits down on the floor and thought that this is obvious, for there is a snow storm, no one will go there. What am I thinking? To his surprise, Ryou has just arrived. She happily greets him and apologizes for being late. She says that the snow is quite strong that she thought she will become an icicle. Asuka asks why did she come when nobody said. Ryou says it is because they have a date and didn’t they say they will celebrate it together. Asuka says that it is only the two of them. They open up the packages of food but Asuka’s chocolate yule log is already ruined. Ryou says it doesn’t matter for it still looks delicious. Asuka blushes at the thought of spending Christmas with Ryou.
Suddenly, the lights went out. Asuka says that it is because of the snow storm and that they can only wait for the electricity to come back on. Asuka becomes gloomy as he remembers that place is rumored to have ghosts. He is shock when the skeleton from the locker fell down. Asuka thought that this doesn’t feel like Christmas. It seems that everything is for nothing when he just wants Ryou to be happy. Asuka notices Ryou’s hand shaking. He wonders if Ryou is afraid then realizes that Ryou is cold since there is no heater there. He notices his gift. He puts the scarf on Ryou. Asuka says it is her Christmas gift and if she doesn’t mind, she can accept it. Ryou smiles and puts a Japanese-style robe on him. She tells him that it is his Christmas gift. Ryou laments that if only they have some light then she can see if it suits him or not. Asuka notices the candles and lights them all up. Ryou thought that it looks nice as the candles are scattered all around. Looking out the window, Ryou says that the storm has weakened that it is now snowing gently. Ryou smiles at him and says it [scarf] is warm. Asuka thought that his dream of a Christmas night with Ryou has come true – snow gently falling down and candle lights. Outside the building, Juuta is looking up and thought that they two must be really happy while he is going to freeze there soon. He has been standing for an hour already. Asuka happily serves the ruined cake while Ryou tastes it. Juuta thought that he is quite loyal and decides to go back home to draw his manga.
Aww..Asuka’s dream has come true. It is amazing what one would do for love. ^_^ He did the place really nice and I’m impress. I’m sure he can have a career in those lifestyle shows – cooking, sewing, housecleaning, etc. Hehe Lucky for him that Ryou also went else he would be spending his Christmas by himself. Her father is really traditional Japanese. This somewhat reminded me of an arc in Tokyo Crazy paradise wherein the yakuza young head, Ryuji [iirc] has never had Christmas and the girl, Tsukasa [iirc] shows him what’s it like. I’m surprised that even Juuta came. I guess he doesn’t want to interrupt the two for Asuka’s sake that he didn’t show himself to them.

Preview from Raws: Koibana! Koiseyo Hanabi [Chapter 1]

[bk1 and dai had asked about Nanaji Nagamu’s latest manga before and since I have just seen the raws recently uploaded in BW forum, I'll write a brief preview summary here. It looks interesting and it is a bit like Parfait Tic! because the female lead is a silly girl much like Fuuko and the male lead’s character is a bit like Ichi. Since I can’t read Japanese, I’ll just brief here what happened in the first chapter to the best of my understanding based on the drawings with a little help from the plot summary in baka manga. =P Anyway, if the Chinese scans are out, I’ll properly summarize this.]
The first scene is of a sick looking girl walking to her house and promptly falling down to the ground. The woman [her mother and sisters] call out to her, Hanabi. [Her name means fireworks and I think the rest is a flashback as to why she feels sick upon returning home] Hanabi tells her dog that it is her first day going to boy’s zone or something. Her elder sister says it is a paradise [with lots of boys]. Hanabi cries that it is boys hell. It seems that the narrator of the story is Hanabi’s dog who introduced Hanabi and her family. Hanabi is the second of three sisters. Hanabi goes to school feeling refreshed but she begins to look ill when there are more boys around as she approaches the school. Hana walks in the hallway and laments being in a school wherein the ratio of boys to girls is 7:1. She tries not to notice her surroundings but she kept on hearing the boys talking and she feels like she is in hell. She closes her eyes and stops. She tries to calm herself when a boy notices her. He passes by her and says that she is something like a cat. She quickly opens her eyes and looks back to see who just said that. She only sees a boy talking with his friend. It made her angry that she quickly goes to her classroom, 1-L. I think only 1-L section is made of girls while the others are of boys. She happily cries that she is now in girls paradise and greets the others. Then, a short narration on her junior high life when she starts to have ill feelings around boys and she seems to have a crush on a Daiya-type boy. She later on faints in swimming class when she saw his armpit hair.
It is now home economics period. The girls are in cooking class. Hanabi didn’t get the response she wants when she told them of the boy who called her a cat. Later on, there is a commotion that Hanabi and her three friends were the only ones doing left in their table. The other girls are looking out the window to watch the boys in another class doing some carpentry – making benches. The other boys are trying to impress the girls with their poses but Chikai [whose name means vow/oath] tells them to ignore the girls. [Chikai is the one who called Hanabi a cat.] A glasses friend guy starts to tease him or something by pointing in different directions while Chikai follows where he points. The girls laugh about it. A girl then asks Hanabi to toss a bento box to her. Hanabi tosses it but the girl didn’t caught it and it fell out of the window. Hanabi is shock that she quickly looks out the window where it fell. It fell on Chikai’s head. Hanabi is dismayed and shock as Chikai looks up to see who tossed it. Hanabi quickly hides from the window. It is dismissal time and Hanabi is in high spirits again. She waves goodbye to the other girls. She then decides to walk in a different path though the woods. She happily takes a stroll then freezes when she sees an ‘enemy’ [boy]. It is Chikai. She quickly tries to walk pass him but Chikai calls out to her. He asks something as Hanabi tries to ignore him but later on freaks out. It mildly makes Chikai angry that he holds her face and says something. I think she realizes that he was the one who called her a cat. Soon, she is looking really sick as Chikai is still holding her face. She faints while foaming in the mouth. Lol. Doggie seems to narrate that Hanabi has an adverse reaction to boys. So, I guess the story is how to cure her ‘ailment’ hehe

It is 13 days before school festival time in Johoku High School. Everyone is preparing for it. Takami is doing some carpentry when a girl comes running and calling out to her. Takami asks Megumi [Her name is actually translated as Megumi Shin and I know it is wrong so I’ll just call her Megumi] if she has brought the nails. Megumi said she forgot. She quickly pulls Takami and tells her to follow her for that guy is going to dump another girl. Takami tries to tell Megumi that she doesn’t care about that guy anymore. Megumi tells her to keep quiet and just sit. She then points out the window. It is Takami’s ex-boyfriend and another girl. The girl asks the ex-bf why are they separating, did she do anything wrong. The ex-bf says she did nothing wrong. He tells her that he is just being stubborn because being with her, he won’t have a chance in winning the prince-princess contest and now, he is looking for his princess so goodbye. He left the girl in shock and Takami angry at him. At Akira’s house, the doorbell rings. Akira opens the door to find Takami standing. Takami asks if she is really bad in choosing men. Akira says yes, I know that but do you have to ring the doorbell. [I think Takami used to just enter his house] Takami says she wants to ring the bell. Akira smiles and asks her to come in, what kind of music does she want to hear. Takami blush a bit as Akira read through her again. Takami asks Akira to play something fast-paced. It made Takami more comfortable. Takami narrates again how she met Akira who is a mixed blood - Japanese and European. She is tomboyish because she has four brothers that up to now she can’t believe that Akira confessed that he liked her. Takami’s thoughts were interrupted when Akira called to her attention that she is sitting with her legs open. Takami quickly closes her legs while saying it is out of habit. She thought that Akira is cute - maybe because Akira is blushing.
After playing, Akira asks what happened that day. Takami asks Akira if he remembers the guy who has dumped her two months ago. Akira remembers the guy who thought that he is Takami’s new boyfriend. Akira says yes, he remembers, he holds the record as her most disappointing boyfriend. Takami becomes gloomy and says sorry about that. Akira then asks so what about that guy. Takami says yes, yes, listen up, today... After she explains everything, she tells Akira that she can’t believe it for he had a girlfriend after breaking up with her and then he would even dare say those words to that girl. Akira asks what is that contest about. Takami explains that it is a contest of being prince and princess wherein the audience will vote who they like as a couple. Then the victors will have their pictures taken and it will be posted on the bulletin board. It will stay there until the next school festival. Takami shouts that Mori [ex-bf] that guy was the champion last year with some girl whom she doesn’t know. She is angry at herself for liking that kind of guy. Akira says it is because she is easily moved by guys. Takami sweatdrops and says that it is a bad habit. Akira starts playing on the piano again. Takami recognizes it as the song ‘You’re Beautiful’. Takami says she likes that music and she is surprised that he can play it on piano. Akira says because something is not right with her expression. Takami asks is her expression that weird. Holding her hand, Akira says I didn’t mean that, you are really cute, so smile a little bit. Takami quickly backs away from him. She asks if Akira is really just a junior high. Akira says of course, does she have to ask that. Takami thought is this what they call as ‘past generation fear’ [It is like the younger generation are better/more mature than the current generation so it is kind of scary.]
In 2-B, Takami is hammering a sign board for their classroom’s yakitori [grilled chicken speared on sticks] stand. Her classmate has to tell her not to hit it so hard for it might break. Takami apologizes and says that it is her bad habit. Another classmate then calls Takami saying that someone is looking for her. Takami introduces herself and asks who is she. The girl says that she is first year Mina. Takami is puzzled because she doesn’t know Mina. To her surprise, Mina is amazed and exclaims that Takami is really cool. Takami is weird out over Mina who is fangirling over her yet trying to explain why she is there. Mina says that she wants to talk to Takami. She explains that she is like that – going gaga - because she has no resistance against cool people. Takami then realizes that she is the girl whom Mori dumped. Mina asks how did she know. Takami lies that she heard it from rumors. Mina tells Takami that she met Mori during opening ceremonies and her confession to him is quite successful. She is now frustrated because she got dumped over a reason of Mori cannot win in the prince-princess contest if he is with her. Mina says that she wants revenge so she will join the prince-princess contest so that Mori will know that even with her, he can win the contest. Takami brightens up and says that’s a good idea. Mina says she wants to be a partner with Takami. To Takami’s shock, Mina says that she wants Takami to be her prince for the contest. Mina tries to convince Takami saying that Takami knows of her feelings since she is also dumped by Mori. Takami is more cool than the other guys and is quite manly so she thought that they can win this. Takami thought gloomily that she knows that she is manly but hearing that from other people...[doesn’t make her feel good about it]. Mina begs Takami to help her. Seeing her sorrowful eyes, Takami cannot refuse and finally agrees to be the prince. Mina is delighted to hear that. Takami says that she also doesn’t want Mori to continue his gloating. Mina thanks her and that she will do her best to become the princess. Mina then asks what would they perform. Takami is surprised. Mina explains that there is a part where they would to perform together on stage.
After class, Takami and Mina go to Akira’s house. Mina introduces herself as she blushes upon seeing Akira. Akira introduces himself and tells them to come in. Takami thanks Akira for taking the time to teach them and it is a big help. Akira says it is no problem. While Akira leads them in to his room, Mina whispers to Takami if Akira is her childhood friend. Takami says that’s right. Mina is amazed and says that Akira is really beautiful especially his eyes. She asks if both his parents foreigners. Takami says he is a mixed-blood, Austrian and.. Mina is excited over meeting a mixed-blood. Mina will sing a song while Takami will play the music accompaniment with a piano. Takami has asked Akira to tutor them. After they had performed, Akira smiles at them and says that they don’t match at all so within two week, they should do their best. Takami feels as if she should have rejected the idea of being a prince nevertheless, she still practice and in the end, she even get Akira to go to their school for the final rehearsal. Mina then gives Takami a bag for the stuff that she will need to become a prince. After changing, wearing a wig and Akira’s winter uniform, Takami looks like a guy. Mina couldn’t believe it and that she exclaims that Takami is like a cool-looking guy, like a real prince, like the kind of man she thought of. Akira says yeah. Takami thought but Akira says ‘yeah’ so is she really cool. Akira then whispers, Takami, even in short hair, you look cute. Akira smiles at her that Takami gets embarrassed. Mina is busy looking at the other wigs in the bag. Takami has forgotten all about the need to defeat Mori. Just then, Mori and his friend pass by the other hall. His friend asks if he has found a princess already. Mori says that she will come automatically any time soon. His friend says that the festival is already tomorrow yet Mori is being irresponsible. Mori then sees Takami and others while Mina is playing around with a wig. Mori smiles and says that he has found his princess.
On the day of the festival, since the contest is in the afternoon, Takami is helping her class in selling yakitori. Her classmates are amazed at how energetic Takami is selling the food though she will leave later for the contest. A classmate tells Takami that it is almost time for the contest and Akira has already come. While walking, Takami tells Akira that they still have two hours so they can take their time in preparing. Akira says that Mina will be in the music room getting ready. Takami says that they should think of a way to get rid of the smoke smell on her. Then, Mina calls Takami from behind. Takami turns around and her smile disappears when she saw Mina is with Mori. Mina apologizes to Takami for Mori says that he wants to be with her again and since she likes him, so she will be Mori’s princess for the contest. Mina says that Takami has helped her and she has been really regretful so she is really sorry so being her partner is now null and void. She apologizes again as she leaves with Mori. All throughout Mina’s apology, Takami is in utter shock as she can’t believe what just happened. Akira says that it seems that the two are still going steady. Takami is speechless then says is that the power of love when obviously she is being used. Takami and Akira were shock when they see Mori looks back at them and sticks his tongue at them. Takami freaks out and asks Akira if he just saw that. Akira says he did. Takami shouts that just because Mori can’t find a princess, he uses Mina as his replacement. Akira says even if it is like that, it seems that Mina really likes him. Takami angrily thought that even if her boyfriend is rotten, Mina still likes him. To Akira’s surprise, Takami says she will still join the contest. Takami shouts that they should find a princess and win the contest so that Mori will lose. They will expose his rotten character so that no other girl will get hurt anymore. Akira agrees with her idea and tells her to hurry it up since they only have two hours left. Her classmates at the Yakitori stand say it is interesting but they can’t leave their post. After much searching, Takami finds a couple of friends. One wants to join while the other doesn’t. The one who doesn’t want to join tells Takami if they want to win, she has a suggestion for them.
At the auditorium, the announcer is now introducing the ninth couple – Mori and Mina. When asked what they will perform, Mori says ‘LOVE’ then he gives Mina a kiss. Everyone is cheering. Some people are then whispering that Takami is next and Mina is suppose to be Takami’s partner so who would she get for her princess. The announcer then calls out the tenth couple – Habara [Takami’s surname] and Sasaki [Akira’s surname]. Everyone is shock as they see who is with Takami and wonders who is she. It turned out that Takami’s princess is Akira who dressed up as a girl. Takami whispers if everything will be alright. Akira says he doesn’t know but... The audience are now getting wild as they wonder who is the blond girl with Takami. The announcer is also stunned that a staff member has to call out to him to continue the program. After snapping out of it, the announcer then says that they are going to do a small performance with the piano though he isn’t sure what piece/song. Takami starts to freak out as she was focused on finding a princess and didn’t even discuss with Akira what would they perform. While Takami is panicking, Akira starts to play the piano. Takami realizes what Akira is playing ‘You Are Beautiful’. She then sings the song. The audience are amazed at how good Akira is playing the piano though Takami doesn’t sing that well. Takami is a bit embarrassed and mind-talk with Akira saying it seems you don’t like the girl’s role. Akira looks at her and mind-says sorry. One of Takami’s friend who suggested the idea says that Akira is really a considerate youngster, doing it for Takami. The other girl is happy that she can put make-up on someone really pretty. After the performance, it is now time to count the votes.
The announcer says that the winner is Habara and Sasaki while second place is Mori and Mina. Mina is satisfied with being number two but to Mina’s surprise, Mori says that it seems that Mina can’t bring out his charm. Mina gasps in shock. Mori then says don’t gasp, he should have find a better girl. Mina is already in tears and asks why when he said that she is much better. Mori says she is bothersome, quit crying. Just when the announcer is about to announce the second placers to come out, Takami who overheard everything has kicked Mori out to the stage. Mori fell flat on the floor. Mori turns around, angrily asking who kicked him. After seeing that it is Takami, Mori says is she rough just because he dumped her, doesn’t she know. Mori shuts up as Takami angrily shouts you jerk, aren’t you finish yet? Mori says are you stupid? Why are you shouting so loud. Takami shouts, how annoying, you are still going to argue.. Akira holds out his hand to stop Takami’s outbursts. Akira tells Mori that he is unsightly sight, the kind of person he is, it is really embarrassing. Mori freaks out and gets embarrassed for being scolded by a beautiful girl. Everyone in the audience also think that Mori is quite embarrassing. Mori curses as he angrily leaves. Akira apologizes to the announcer and tells him to continue as he gets Takami to go backstage. The announcer is going to say again for the second placer to come out but it seems that he has already left. Takami is still shaking in anger as she wants to kick Mori some more but she cools down a bit when she sees that Mina is in tears, still calling Mori’s name. The announcer is going to call the winners but Takami tells him to delay it a bit. So the announcer decides to perform something for the audience.
Takami pats crying Mina’s head and says that they both aren’t good at judging people. Mina tearfully says that Mori is really that kind of guy. Takami smiles and says that they should improve on how they choose men so that they would find a really beautiful love [relationship]. Mina then stops crying. The people backstage are moved by what Takami said. The announcer then says it is time to show the winners. Takami turns around and tells Akira that it is their cue. To her surprise, Akira is nowhere to be found. A girl says that Akira has left. Takami nervously tells the shocked announcer to delay it a bit again. Takami frantically asks the girl if she knew where Akira went. The girl says she doesn’t know. Akira comes back in his own clothes and apologizes to Takami saying that he just went out for a bit. Takami panicks as to why did Akira changed clothes when the program isn’t over yet. Akira says that’s right, it isn’t over yet. He then takes Takami’s hand and goes out on stage. The announcer calls out the winners. Akira tells Takami that she isn’t a prince but a princess. Akira then pulls off Takami’s wig. Everyone is surprised that Takami is back to a girl again and is that the blond girl - Akira. The announcer asks if they are Habara and Sasaki. Akira happily says that they are, they just changed. The announcer says that he doesn’t know what has happened but who cares. Akira tells protesting Takami to smile a bit when the announcer calls out for the audience to congratulate the couple. Takami is embarrassed while Akira is happy.
At the photo chub, the student photographer says, princess, could you please smile a bit. The photographer takes pictures as Takami glumly says hey, photographer, how many pictures are you going to take anyway. He tells her that is until he gets a satisfying photo since he gets to take two pretty models, it brings out the photographer in him. Akira tells Takami to smile as Takami wants to go home. The photographer then says hey prince, how about holding her shoulder. Takami is embarrassed and shouts, what did you say.. She is shock when Akira puts his hand on her shoulder and tells the photographer, sure. Takami shouts at Akira, even saying ‘sure’. The photographer says that is nice now how about putting your hand on her waist. Akira did as he is told. Takami shouts at Akira as to why is he listening to that photographer’s orders. Akira says he doesn’t know. Takami shouts what does he mean he doesn’t know. The photographer then says nice, now for the last shoot. It ends up as the huge photo in the bulletin board with Akira holding embarrassed Takami’s shoulder.
Hehe..everyone gets what they deserve here. Mori deserves to be embarrassed and well, Mina deserves to be dumped again. I guess it is somewhat like karma for she did ‘dumped’ Takami just because Mori wants her back. It is nice of Takami to still join the contest and show to everyone including Mina what kind of person Mori is. Well, it is also to teach Mori a lesson. Akira’s cross-dressing for Takami has been rewarded. He gets to be photographed with Takami and thanks to the photographer, some nice shots. ^_^ He is also pretty clever to go back to being himself as a boy before the awarding and photo shoot. I’m amused at how Takami mentions that she doesn’t know how to choose guys. It is so true because she has someone like Akira beside her yet she doesn’t think of him as boyfriend potential. Well, I guess the main problem is it has been a long time since Takami thinks of Akira as a ‘sister’ whom she must protect that she can’t possibly think of him as a lover. Akira still has a long way to go.

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, D. Grayman and Gintama

Ishida and Renji are going to attack Aporro but they were blocked by Aporro’s ‘giants’ in Bleach [c. 293]. One of Aporro’s wings, I think, then swallowed Ishida. Renji is going to save him but it spew Ishida out. From Aporro’s wings, a blob comes out and pops to reveal an Ishida doll. It turned out to be some sort of voodoo doll that whatever Aporro does to it, it happens to Ishida. Aporro breaks it open that made Ishida and Renji quite nervous for they thought Ishida will also break into two. Aporro pulls out one of the many pieces inside the doll. It is a little small bean-like thing that was the word estomago which is Spanish for stomach. Aporro smashes it. It promptly made Ishida vomit blood because of internal bleeding. Renji angrily tries to attack Aporro but didn’t notice that another wing is behind him. Aporro comments that they are like kids that they are just surprised a little, they quickly lose focus on what’s ahead. He says if there is a reason why Aizen wants to destroy them, it will be because of their inferiority. The scene changes to Nel who is send flying but she manages to point her zanpaku to Nnoitra who also has pinned her down with his double-moon weapon. Nel asks why did he stop. Nnoitra also asks why did she stop, it has reminded of him of how they used to fight and Nel is still the same as before. The last scene is of Nel from the past. I guess it is flashback time. Aporro’s way of fighting is really quite unconventional. It isn’t something that one has to rely on brute strength. They would have to find his weak point fast before they get themselves slowly tortured and killed. Well, there is still Dondo and Pesshe somewhere unless they ditched the two to go to Nel. At the rate they are losing, Ichigo might as well add Ishida and Renji along with Rukia and Sado whom he should save. The anime is currently in the part where they are going to Huenco Mundo. It made me thought if they only knew what they are getting into for it certainly won’t be like when they went into Soul Society and obviously, they aren’t strong enough yet. More training in the future?
When the man whom Jiraiy interrogated saw Konan, he quickly greets her as Pein’s angel in Naruto [c. 372]. Konan tells him to leave. Jiraiya tries to ask who Pein is but Konan doesn’t want to answer. Konan creates wings and uses the paper to attack Jiraiya but she was no match for him after he puke on her with some toad oil. Jiraiya captures her with his hair..I think it is his hair. ^^; He asks her what about the other two with her and it seems they aren’t really dead so which of the two is Pein. Konan asks why did he appear to them again. Jiraiya says he doesn’t care as long as they aren’t Akatsuki. Konan says that Jiraiya must be regretting he didn’t do what Orochimaru has suggested and instead saved them but now it is too late for they are already doing what that person planned to do. Jiraiya thought that Pein must be that kid. Flashback to a boy named Yahiko asking food from Jiraiya and others [Tsunade and Orochimaru] for his parents are killed in the war. When he was given some, he called out to the other two [Nagato and Konan]to come out for Jiraiya and others aren’t bad people. The kids then follow them that Tsunade asks what do they want when they are already given some food. Yahiko asks them to teach them how to fight. Konan then offers a flower origami from the wrappers to them as thanks. Orochimaru suggests to kill them as he had seen too many orphaned by war kids who won’t be able to bear the anguish. Jiraiya decides to take them in so at least help them to take care of themselves.
After a while, they are eating a fish as Yahiko happily says he knows how to fish thanks to Jiraiya. Nagato is crying because he remembers his family. Yahiko reprimands him saying that he shouldn’t cry or people will think that those from the Hidden Rain are weak. Jiraiya tries to pacify Yahiko saying that when they grow up, the countries near Hidden Rain would have compromised and there would be peace. Yahiko doesn’t want that for he wants those who caused them suffering to also suffer so he believes that the wars would never end. Yahiko angrily says that he hates rain for it seems as if his country is crying so he would want to change his country to protect everyone. He asks again Jiraiya to teach him. Later on, while Jiraiya is grilling some fish, Konan comes in asking him to follow her for something happened to the two. Jiraiya goes to Yahiko asking what has happened. Yahiko says that someone tries to rob them but Nagato. Jiraiya looks at the fallen guy and it is someone from the hidden rock. He is shock to see Nagato’s eyes which has circles in it. Jiraiya seems to know who he is. Nagato looks shock over what he did. It turned out that Konan isn’t from Minamoto’s group. It is a different group which Jiraiya has taught though not really fighting skills. I’m assuming that this happened around the time when Jiraiya and others are in the Hidden Rain to fight. I wonder whom Konan is referring to whose plans they are doing. My guess is it is Mandara and maybe after they were thought to be dead, Mandara took them in and trained them. So, where is Yahiko now? Yahiko does look a bit like Jugo ^^;; It is interesting that Pein/Nagato easily cries before and now instead of crying, he uses rain, an analogy by Yahiko.
Zoro suggests to the others that they make Odz fly in One Piece [c. 472]. At first, Franky does this assemble together into one. Franky is the body, Chopper is the head, legs are Zoro and Sanji while hands are Robin and Usopp. Robin doesn’t want to join because it is embarrassing. They have to separate when Odz attacks them since he is disappointed for not seeing the complete form. While Sanji is distracting Odz, Zoro takes the pillars that Franky were using as nunchucks. He tells Robin to handle Odz when he hits him. Usopp fires an oil attack on Odz’s hand that made him slip. Sanji kicks Zoro up to Odz and Zoro uses the pillar to hit Odz’s left hand. When his left hand is at his back, Robin uses her power to cuff his hand to the back. Franky and Chopper make a stair up to Odz. They both punches Odz to make him somewhat lose his balance. Sanji then kicks him which made Odz fly and crash into the mansion. Upside down, Odz is angry at what they have done and he is going to send them flying. With Absalom in her mouth, Laura tells Nami to go on ahead and tells her that the one causing havoc is the zombie which has Luffy’s shadow. Nami wants the treasure but when she arrives at treasure room, it is empty. Meanwhile, Perona is ordering the zombies to fill in the ship with food and treasures. Perona thought that she went along with Moria because it is fun and she isn’t going to put her life on the line. The zombies then notice a bear-looking guy. It turned out to be Kuma, one of the seven seas, asking where is Moria. Wow, I never expect that there would be another seven seas in this arc. Franky’s assemble into one reminds me of some mecha anime. Hehe Well, it was nice teamwork that they did get to send Odz flying.
Soon, the place where they are standing crumbles so Allen saves Rinali from falling in D. Gray-man [c. 130]. Lero thought that he is finished until he has sensed something. The Earl tries to chat with Cross by saying that the lady [Maria] with Cross has makes him vanish from his enemies. Cross fires at the Earl’s foot telling him that he isn’t in the mood to chat so if he is finished, will he please leave. The Earl says why is he leaving when that is his ark. Cross said wasn’t he casting it away already. The Earl replies that it is because it has lost its wings. Cross says it the 14th, it is like that on the day when that man who betrayed Noah has placed a cursed on it. The Earl asks if it is him, the musician who passed his role to the 14th. He asks Cross what is he there for if it is to steal the ark, he is too late for the heart has already been passed to the new one that even the musician has no control of. When the Earl laughs that it has just become a grave for exorcists, Allen attacks the Earl in anger. Allen is already pushing himself to the limit as he is bleeding. Cross made Allen stop by using Maria to control his brain. Cross tells him not to fight a Noah with hatred. Lero is then reunited with the Earl as they go out of the door. The Earl left happy that Tiki has awakened for there are times the holder of ‘pleasures’ unconsciously restrains his Noah. Cross then tells Allen and Rinali that he has a mission for them that is why he saved them. I won’t quite get what Cross and the Earl are talking about the musician and stuff. I do wonder what the mission is. Could it be like..find the exorcists lost in the ark? Hehe With titles like musician and clown, maybe the others if alive, would also have titles. After all, their enemies have titles, ‘dreams’, ‘pleasures’, etc of Noah. I wonder if the man the Earl and Cross is taking about is Mana. It would somehow made sense why Allen has a sword like the Earl’s. Maybe that is why Mana is very angry when he is made into an akuma that he cursed Allen. Normally, souls made into akumas just devour their victims and not curse them.
Gin is sleeping but was rudely awaken by Tama [android maid] asking for his rental in Gintama [c. 183]. Otose is pleased with the payment that Tama got from Gin that she is going to give her some more oil as bonus for dinner. Otose says things about what Tama does as Gin insists that she does them because she is a robot. Otose treats her as her own daughter just like a certain cat burglar. One day when Gin is going to ride on his scooter, Tama is sitting on the stairs. Tama tells him that she is on a break from work as Otose gave her a three day vacation but she doesn’t know what to do. Gin tells her to do what she likes to do but since she is a robot, she doesn’t understand that. Soon, Gin decides to take her around the place. Gin at first tries to buy a kimono for her but it seems Tama is more interested in screws. Gin then buys it for her. He also brought her to karaoke, spa, bowling and a bar where she drinks oil. After vomiting from too much drinking, Tama says just like the screw that Gin bought her, she and other machines want to be useful to people as much as they can. Gin tells her not to think too much for just to smile is enough. Tama sees some children getting angry at a whack’a mole machine [hits the mole coming out of the holes] since it is defective. Tama pities the machine that Gin decides to go on ahead and tells her to go back home on her own.
The next day, Otose breaks Gin’s door and shouts where is Tama for she didn’t return yesterday. Gin quickly goes back to where he left her and finds her playing with the kids as a mole in the whack’a mole. Gin smiles as he thought that Tama’s smile is awesome as she happily plays with the kids is really great. Gin prepares to leave as Tama asks him if he would accompany her for more happy time when she is on a break. Gin raises his hand as if to say yes and leaves Tama smiling. Later on, Otose is surprised that Tama is working when she is on vacation. Tama says it is okay as she happily serves the drunk men. Otose is pleased with her. On Tama’s hair, she uses the screw that Gin bought for her as her hair pin. Well, it seems that Tama is incorporated into Gin’s life as one of Otose’s helpers. It is nice to see that she somehow find a place where she is accepted as family.

Yuuki remembers that snowy night again when a vampires tries to eat her but Kaname saves her. You..Why are you there that night? I beg you. Please tell me the truth. Night class is passing through as hordes of girls are lined up at the side, squealing. A couple of girls are looking at Kaname. A girl said it has been a long time since she has seen him. Yuuki is being pushed as she tries to tell them to back off a little. Yuuki is then surprised when Kaname calls out her name. Yuuki looks back to see Kaname and she blushes. I do not want to become a child who doesn’t know anything nor care about anything. Zero looks at them then notices that Ichiru is also looking at the two. When Ichiru sees that Zero is looking at him, he quickly leaves. Zero looks suspicious of what just happened. Beating of heart. Ah..how irritating..my heart is really noisy. Kaname calls out her name again asking why Yuuki didn’t answer him. Ever since that night, my heart start to become uncontrollable that when I stand in front of this guy, I am no longer my usual calm self. Heart beating. Today, it is even more serious. Yuuki tries to say, about that..sempai.. Kain interrupts by calling out to Kaname. Kaname says yes, I know. Kaname then bids goodbye to Yuuki for he is leaving. Yuuki tells him about the question before. Kaname bends down to Yuuki and whispers, after class, I will wait for your answer but you shouldn’t have forgotten about it, about my feelings for you. Kaname then leaves with the others. Blushing, Yuuki holds her ear then thought this is also okay and this time I won’t escape. Yuuki then notices some girls surrounding her. They ask her what did Kaname just told her. They say that before they [Kaname and Yuuki] are already quite familiar with each other but this is too much. Yuuki bows them to them apologizing while Zero just looks at her direction.
That night, while waiting, Yuuki tells Zero that tonight she will surely ask Kaname the truth about ten years ago. When Zero didn’t reply, Yuuki asks what’s the matter. Zero says he is thinking what if her lost memory has something to do with that guy, would she be able to take it. Yuuki smiles and says this ten years been with Kaname has been overlapping together that if it is Kaname, she doesn’t mind if he betrays her this feeling has been partly true. But being tense for a moment, her fear suddenly appears. Barely walking up to the present, I have already wasted a lot of time. Still, I have pointed out to you about something amazing, I like Kaname since the start of those ten years. Zero closes his eyes and says with things happening now, would she still say that. Yuuki blushes and says I really like him..when I think of that guy..if I am not careful..my mind will all be filled by him...as if I would lose myself...Kaname-sempai..he is a bit scary but he is a really kind person. From before, he would have this lonely smile that she does not know the reason why but she becomes worried so each time, he would then give her his usual smile. Zero looks down on the ground as Yuuki thought, being a vampire is okay, not being a vampire doesn’t matter either, for that is not the most important thing. Yuuki says now that I am separated from him, no matter what the stern position that Kaname is in, the first thing he would forever be worried about would be me. He is that kind of person... Yuuki looks up to the night sky then stands up saying I should go..I already know that Kaname is hiding something from me.
Night class is over. As everyone is coming out from class, Kaname notices Yuuki with Zero. Aidou calls out to Kaname. Kaname tells the others to go on ahead without him. Aidou, Kain and Seiren look at Zero who doesn’t react to them. After they left, Kaname asks what is it. Yuuki apologizes that they are talking in that place. [hallway of classrooms] Kaname says it is okay but first things first, aren’t you too much that even if you know about my feelings yet you brought along Zero. Yuuki is surprised and nervously holds her skirt. She tells him that she was the one who asked him to tag along and it is about the question he asked. Looking sideways [probably at Zero], Kaname asks if she is talking about when he told her ‘I love you’. Yuuki looks a bit embarrassed and said yes. Zero then casually leans on the wall. Yuuki looks away as she struggles to talk but kept on saying yes, yes. Kaname then says, I am serious...could it be that you hate me? This surprises Yuuki that it made her exclaim how could I hate you..that is totally impossible..even from before up to now I have liked you. Zero doesn’t react. In those years, it has been countless time when I wait for the time when I can be at ease as I hurriedly rush to hug you. A scene of the president calling to young Yuuki who then goes to hug Kaname who would then smile at her. The most beautiful and kind person who looks attentively at me alone and this is how I was saved. Yuuki tells Kaname that there is no reason for her to hate Kaname, no matter if Kaname and that vampire who wants to eat her are both vampires. A scene of when Yuuki saw Kaname biting Ruka. Looking at him, Yuuki says, if it is Kaname, I.. Yuuki stops what she is saying when Zero called out her name. She looks embarrassed then says that now she is growing up, there are many questions..why is it me even if I’m stupid, I know that even if I grow older, I would never be a match for Kaname-sempai. Kaname-semapi, what is the relation between you and my lost past?
Kaname didn’t answer and just smiled at her. Yuuki goes to him and shouts, it is right, then why didn’t you tell me the truth, tell me, I do not want to be like this [she doesn’t know anything]. I do not want be shackled with Kaname and make it just a way out for I would want to become a bit stronger, I beg of you. [I think basically not to depend too much on Kaname] Kaname touches her face and says, little fool, like right now, you are already very afraid. Isn’t it okay to live a fake happy life? Yuuki looks at him in surprise. Kaname continues, is it okay? Even if what is hidden is a bloody truth..even if it is like that, do you still want to know? Yuuki tells him that she wants to know. Kaname sighs and looks away. He closes his eyes then looks back to Yuuki. He tells her that she is a warm existence to him that he is afraid if she knew the truth, she will hate him. Yuuki holds his hand that is touching her face and says that she can never hate him. Kaname then says prove it to me. Holding her close to him, Kaname says will you become my lover? Yuuki is shock and is blushing. She pushes him away and shouts for him to let her go. Do you think that I will just let it go? Release me! I no longer want you to be unthinking of the past. Kaname holds her hand and tells her that if she prove to him then he will definitely tell her. Even if you confront me, I will not be indifferent. Yuuki says that he is lying. Kaname says he isn’t lying so if Yuuki wants to know, she should do what he said. Yuuki gives in and lets Kaname hug her. Why did end up like this, Kaname-sempai? Kaname says that she is a good kid. Looking at Zero, Kaname says, can I ask you not to look at me in that worried stare, Zero, from today on, I will also treasure and protect Yuuki as her lover. Zero just looks at him. Kaname looks a bit cold and dark as Yuuki is blushing in Kaname’s embrace.
I guess Yuuki is back to admiring and loving Kaname mode. It is indeed quite insensitive of her to talk or rather rave about Kaname to Zero who seems to like her. Does this mean that Zero is just her confidant and nothing more? Well, she is also insensitive to bring along Zero when she is going to talk about Kaname’s confession. That is how unromantic things can get. ^^; And, it ended up being a blackmail that I wonder if this relationship will last long. I do wonder if Kaname will tell her the truth and like how can she prove she won’t hate him by just being his girlfriend? It could be like how others will react to their relationship and if she can withstand the harassment and pressure. I will give the benefit of the doubt that Kaname does loves Yuuki to the extent of things he has done to protection he is giving her but sometimes, I feel as if there is some ulterior motive of some sort. It does make sense since making Yuuki his girlfriend basically gives her a status and a right to be protected. Kaname would have a reason why he would protect Yuuki and is no longer in a passive role. I think he is moving fast ever since he knew that Rishi has started to move. Aidou and others might be forced to protect her because she is Kaname’s girlfriend. And also, enemies would be more hesitant to do something to Yuuki. Mm..but then, that has a reverse effect for they would all think that she is Kaname’s weakness. ^^;; Oh well, that is why Zero is there as bodyguard as extra precaution. =P Even if Kaname doesn’t like Zero and vice-versa, they trust each other to protect Yuuki. Strangely, Zero doesn’t react much. I’m guessing he is either a good actor or he has resided to the fact that Yuuki just loves Kaname. I guess he also know that what Kaname did is also for the good of Yuuki for Kaname is more powerful than him in regards of position. Also, after noticing Ichiru looking at the two, he knows that something is up. So, everything that Kaname needs/wants are now in his hands – Yuuki beside him and Zero to owe him a huge favor. Mm..it would be interesting as to how everyone would react over the news and if Rishi in Senri’s body and Ichijou would react to this..if the two are in the next chapter.

Lele is shocked over Leo’s proposal. Lele tries to turn him down by saying that she is a girl while he is a man so even if he is a nice person. Leo says he understands what she mean but he can assure her that their relationship will strictly as ‘sisters’. Lele is surprised. Leo then shows Lele her closet which is filled with women’s clothes, wigs, shoes and other stuff. Lele is amazed by the stuff that Leo has. [The author made a mistake by drawing Lele with boots on which was supposedly ‘stolen’] Leo says that Lele’s clothes must be smelly so why not find something that she can wear. Leo is really happy that an outfit fits Lele and she looks good in it. Leo then laments that God isn’t fair for putting his soul in a man’s body and not just any body but a muscular body. Leo then cries that if only he is a girl then he would confess to his silver-eyed prince. Lele sweatdrops throughout his monologue then, she wondered about the silver-eyed prince. Lele asks if Leo likes Eros. Leo screams in terror as he clings on Lele’s leg begging her not to tell Eros for if he knew, Eros will hate him. Lele says that it is okay, she won’t tell so he doesn’t have to worry. Leo asks, is it a promise. Lele says it is a promise. ‘I just want to be beside him’ that is what Leo told me. At first sight, he seems to be a scary person but after saying that, I find him somewhat cute. Making him my roommate doesn’t seem such a bad idea at all.
In DMG office, Judy sees her and quickly hugs her thanking that Lele is safe and sound. Lele realizes that she is Judy and apologizes to her for making her worried. Then, I unexpectedly see that person again. Nick comes in with gloomy Eros behind. Nick happily greets her, darling, it seems the one that I have discovered is really lucky and fortunately, nothing has happened. He then thanks Leo. Lele and Leo sweatdrop when Eros punches Nick to the wall while shouting move away. Emitting killer aura, Eros shouts for Lele to come to him. Scared, Lele asks what does he want. Eros says don’t be nosy, stand up, kneel down, stand up, roll to the left three times, roll to the right three times. Lele obediently follows his orders. Eros thought that it seems everything is intact. Lele angry yet scared shouts what is he doing. She thought why did she just obediently do what he ordered her to do. Eros prepares to leave as he says, it is nothing, just want to confirm if you are really stupid and it seems you are quite stupid, I’m leaving. Lele is speechless and embarrassed. Nick then says, bro, weren’t you checking if my treasure have any injuries? Then, some loud punching sounds. Lele is surprised as she turns to look at Eros and wonders if it is true that Eros was worried about her.
Eros asks Leo isn’t he coming. Leo says he is waiting for Lele since from that day on, she will be his roommate. Lele and beaten up Nick look surprised. Lele wonders why Leo has to report it to Eros. Eros pats Leo’s shoulder and says good luck, taking care of someone who is brainless is no easy task, do your best. Nick is shock over this while Lele weeps over being called brainless. After Eros left, Nick exclaims that it is so strange for Eros seems to care about Lele but it doesn’t bother him if Lele stays with Leo. Nick then wonders if Leo isn’t the type that Eros would trust, then would Eros’ care for Lele be like lovers. Messing up his hair, Nick shouts that what is it really, I really want to know. Leo thought that Nick doesn’t seem to care much about his models. Holding Lele’s hands, Leo says that she would have to depend on herself. Smiling, Judy informs Lele that she would give her a new mobile phone. She has already contacted some staff to move her luggage to her new place. Judy tells Lele that until Lele is finished moving, she won’t give her any jobs and if there is anything she can help, just call her. Lele thought that she is lucky to have a dependable manager.
After moving to Leo’s house, I have a 2-day vacation and it made her catch her breath from all the ‘surprises’ that has just happened. On the bed, she writes an email to Xiao Qui on her laptop, asking how is Xiao Qui in Japan and that she has a huge roommate. Lele is surprised to see Leo in a dress and wig carrying some bags. Leo exclaims that it is time to eat and as celebration for being friends, he bought some Chinese food. Lele starts to laugh at Leo while shouting if he is cosplaying. Lele is actually wearing the same dress as Leo’s. Leo cries doesn’t he look pretty since he has a cute younger sister [Lele], so he dressed up so that they would be like ‘sisters’. I think this kind of start isn’t that bad. After some scenes of Angus having a photo shoot, Leo asks Yang when will Angus return to New York. While sewing something, Yang says that Angus’ work in Paris is over but now he must be having a photo shoot in London so around a month, he will come back to New York. Leo says that everyone is talking about the collaboration between Angus and Feidna then ‘ZAC’ would become ‘F. Fin’. Leo wonders out loud that if the news is true for even if the news break out, there is still something to consider. Leo asks Yang, doesn’t Angus dislike Feidna so that is why he doubts that news even if many people are anticipating their work together. After cutting the thread with his teeth, Yang says he hopes the news isn’t true because he also doesn’t like Feidna who is snobbish, vain and cunning. Yang says that after becoming a famous star, she disappeared then when she is rejected/used, she comes back to Eros’ side. Yang tells Leo that he doesn’t understand why Eros doesn’t hate her and even accepted her back. Leo says that he think that Eros must really, really love Feidna.
Meanwhile, Lele comes out of the toilet feeling sick. She says that her stomach doesn’t seem to agree with American food. Lele thought that the toilet paper is almost used up. She wonders if there are some more in Leo’s room. In Leo’s room, Lele finally finds some tissues. She haggardly walks while hoping that her stomach won’t hurt anymore. She then trips and fell splat on the floor. She looks up and notices a telescope pointing out the window. She looks into it and is shock to see Eros in the other window, changing as in removing his shirt off. Hehe, Leo turns out to be a peeping tom. Scary. It seems her ‘surprise experiences’ never cease upon arriving in New York. I wonder what Lele would do. Scream in fright or watch? ^^; It seems that Lele is back to herself again when Eros is around. She doesn’t have that ‘coldness’ which she used to have when she is with her aunt. I’m surprised like Nick that Eros doesn’t react much when he was told that Lele is staying with Leo. It made me wonder if Eros does know of Leo’s secret though I’m sure he doesn’t know that he is being ‘watched’ from the window. Lesson for the day: Don’t change clothes near the window, you’ll never know who’s peeping on you. ^^; Regarding Feidna, from Yang’s description, I think Lele will have a bit of a problem if it becomes a love triangle. Hehe, I think of Feidna as a cat while Lele is a dog especially how she obeys Eros’ orders. =P

Haruhi points to Tamaki and says, eh.. Tamaki looks at Haruhi and says, ah.. On the phone, Kyouya says, ah, ah now that you mention it, he has said that his stomach doesn’t feel good so he went back to Japan and now, I’m going to leave the rest to you. Kyouya then hangs up the phone. Haruhi shouts on the phone, eh, eh, wait a minute, Kyouya-sempai. She only hears the beeping sound. Haruhi is still shock over seeing Tamaki as she asks how is his stomach. Tamaki stutters, ah, stomach, it is a bit hungry. The two then screams out again in surprise. Haruhi says but Kyouya just said that you have diarrhea. Tamaki shouts, what Kyouya has diarrhea. Haruhi screams out loud again that made Tamaki scream also wondering what is it. Back in France, Kyouya closes his phone. He thought, really, wasting my intention/alibi, that fool. Kyouya smiles and thought no matter, it isn’t such a bad development, since Tamaki kept it a secret, Haruhi will give him a good scolding. Tachibana and others calls out to Kyouya saying that they have found Tamaki’s mother’s.. Kyouya asks if they have found her. Tachibana says they have found someone who had took care of her before and that person is currently in a health center. Kyouya smiles and thought that in his side, the development is also good. Kyouya says that he would ask something to that person so accompany him there. Tachibana says yes.
In Haruhi’s house, Tamaki is nervously sitting at the dining table while Haruhi is cooking something. Tamaki tries to break the silence by shouting, Haruhi, you came so late, I thought you were already home. Haruhi doesn’t answer that made Tamaki even more tense. Haruhi brings out what she has cooked to Tamaki. Tamaki apologizes for the inconvenience about the dinner, but then, if he can eat what she has cooked. He asks what kind of ‘pot’ did she made. [I think he is thinking in the lines of hot pot/potted dishes] Opening the pot, Haruhi says if it ‘pot’, it is a ‘pot’ but since his stomach isn’t well, he should eat 1 part rice is to 10 part water [1:10] congee. Tamaki sadly eats it and thought that it is tasteless. He asks if Haruhi is angry. Haruhi says she isn’t. Weeping Tamaki says, liar, you are angry. Haruhi says from the start of second year’s trip, Hikaru and Kaoru had a quarrel. This surprised Tamaki. Haruhi continues that it isn’t a fake quarrel but a real one. When she asked what is the reason, they won’t tell her. I can’t say or know why but at that important time, I should have intervened in some degree. Even if I didn’t ask out loud, is it okay for me to ask? Then, the two had made up and at that time, I have thought that it is because I kept on focusing on books that I really become a bookworm. At this time, I cannot do anything. Tamaki tries to interrupt and say about that. In anguish, Haruhi continues to say that so this time, she also didn’t know that Tamaki didn’t went to France and obvious it is because of his mother. But can I ask you about it? Can I comfort you about it? Can I be angry that you kept this a secret? Can I be hurt? Because, I’m worried about you.. Haruhi seems to be in the verge of tears that Tamaki tries to comfort her by going to her. He accidentally spill the congee on himself. Tamaki shouts that it is hot. Haruhi freaks out, ice, ice water, shower!!
After removing his shirt and cardigan, Haruhi showers Tamaki’s upper body where he is burnt. Sweatdrop-ing, Haruhi asks if he is okay. Tamaki says yes though it is a bit reddish and Haruhi’s reaction is quite fast. Haruhi is about to go out as she tells Tamaki that she is going to get some more ice then later on, she is going to get him some of her father’s clothes to wear. From behind her, Tamaki then holds her hand. Bending down, Tamaki apologizes for hiding a lot of things but no matter what, he can’t quite endure it. I do not want to see everyone become sad because of me. When everyone is smiling,.. With a soften expression, Haruhi continues it, it also makes me most happy. Tamaki lets go of Haruhi and blushes. He exclaims, strange, how did Haruhi know about that. Haruhi apologizes and says that it is Kyouya who told her. Tamaki says is that so, sorry, I thought I have said it myself. Tamaki pats Haruhi’s head and asks where should he start, would she listen to everything. While giving him a towel, Haruhi asks where does he live in France. Tamaki says he lives in a house near Paris. What is your mother’s name? ‘Anne Sophie’, isn’t it a nice sounding name? How are you called then? I’m called ‘Tamaki’ then there are times I’m called ‘René’. ‘René’? Yes, while staying in France, my name is 'René Tamaki Richard Grantaine'. While they were talking, Tamaki decided to wear a shirt with the word ‘father’ in front from Haruhi’s father’s clothes.

Back in France, an old lady tells Kyouya that it is around two years before she is working for the Grantaine’s family. Kyouya says around two years so.. The old lady says yes, René...Tamaki has just left for Japan. It has been the wishes of Anne Sophie to sell off the house and almost half of the servants are sent home. Kyouya asks where is the Grantaine’s house now. She says no.. it is also hidden from me. She changes the topic by asking if he is Tamaki’s friend from Japan and how is Tamaki. Kyouya says that it could be said that Tamaki is irritatingly active that everyday they were told to go here and there. A scene of Hotta buying ice cream for the others. The old lady laughs and says is that so, she would like to see him again. She becomes nostalgic as she says that Tamaki isn’t like that before for Tamaki has become quite intelligent that when his mother’s health isn’t good, he stopped becoming happy no matter who talked to him, he won’t smile. Flashback: Tamaki opened the door and saw his mother lying on the bed. His mother calls out to him to come in. Holding his teddy, Tamaki approaches his mother. His mother asks what is the matter, why don’t he go out and play. Tamaki is in tears and says, but mommy.. His mother smiles at him and tells him that she is fine for didn’t the doctor said it is just a prolong cold so why don’t he play with his teacher and the others. Tamaki shakes his head and said, no, no, I don’t want to do anything.
His mother tells him that if he is like that, it would be a waste for she has many things that she wants to do. If she can leave the bed tomorrow, she would like to take a walk in the courtyard, see the blooming roses, play piano with Tamaki, eat meals with Tamaki, watch the Japanese movie videotapes that his father gave them and the most important of all, she wants to see Tamaki’s smiling everyday. It is because I’m sick that I think this way but everyday is an important day, Tamaki. Everyday, you must try hard to live. Everyday, you must smile. And then, a part of happiness will be shared to everyone around you. Holding his mother’s hand, Tamaki asks if he is always happy then she will also be happy. His mother says that’s right so that is why.. Tamaki happily says let me think what I want to do from now on. Sparkling, Tamaki shouts that’s right, I want mommy to listen to my piano playing and singing. His mother is surprised, eh? Tamaki happily plays on the keyboard and sings while his mother sweatdrop and said, Tamaki..even if I’m very happy but can you do other things.. End of Flashback.
Sparkling, Tamaki says and that is how his ‘one must be happy everyday’ motto came from which he lives by. Haruhi then says, is that so, she feels everything is connected. Tamaki then says, oh right, when I came to Japan, the goal is ‘Enjoy Japan’s beauty’ then when he has friends, it is ‘Make everyone happy’. After host club is made, the goal is to make the guests happy. Tamaki smiles and tells Haruhi that everyday there are many things he wants to do so that everyday, he will try hard to live so that happiness would disperse and one day, surely, everyone [his family – him, his parents and grandmother] will be sitting in a kotatsu eating hot pot. Haruhi thought he is really like a child for in reality, the reason why he has been living this way according to what his mother taught him is because he wants to see his mother’s smile. Tamaki continues that he haven’t considered Suou family for he feels that if he haven’t thought of what he really wants to do then he won’t be able to comply with his own promise. Blushing a bit, Tamaki confess that he just realized it now. A scene of Shima asking what does he want to do. Scenes of the last chapter of helping an old woman on the escalator, being frustrated over his helplessness over a waiter who is going to be fired for his mistake, his father telling him that business isn’t the same as a club and the sense of justice isn’t the same and lastly, his father’s proposal. Tamaki says not only my mother but I want to make more people happy. Tamaki seriously says that the place where he can test his ability is in Suou family. Haruhi looks surprised and smiles as she tells him is that so, so that is what happened yesterday.
Tamaki becomes insecure and asks Haruhi if it is strange, strange for him to say such things. Haruhi asks why, it doesn’t seem strange at all. A bit embarrassed, Tamaki says but it seems quite sudden. Haruhi giggled and thought that he is like a child. He seems to be surprised that he has seen his goal but.. Haruhi says it isn’t strange at all, but then, why did you make the host club in the first place, from the very start, Tamaki-sempai wants to make various people smile. Before it is just to make one person smile, but now, it has changed to make a wider range of people smile. Smiling at Tamaki, Haruhi says it’s really not strange because this kind of dream suits Tamaki’s style. Tamaki is surprised and then he also smiles while blushing a bit and says, is that so. Back in France, Kyouya is about to leave as he thanks the old lady for telling him and he will tell Tamaki about their meeting. The old lady says she should be the one who should thank Kyouya and that she knows that Kyouya is really Tamaki’s good friend. She then says, even if I said I don’t know about the question you asked earlier, but I can give you some hints. After leaving Paris, not so far, there is a village with a forest. In spring, the trees and wisteria are very beautiful. In autumn, the wide wheat field becomes gold. It is a place that has given birth to many passionate painters. Kyouya looks surprised.
In front of Haruhi’s house, Tamaki bids Haruhi goodbye and tells her not to walk him out anymore. He apologizes for surprising her and about not going to the trip, he will tell the twins and the other sempai. He says regarding the things after this, he will think about it. He then thanks her. Haruhi gives a bag to him saying it is for him. Tamaki asks what is it. Haruhi says it is because she only gave him 1:10 congee to eat, these are some onigiri and vegetables, sorry, it is only leftovers. Haruhi adds that he told her that the chef is also in vacation so if he doesn’t object.. Tamaki smiles and takes the bag. He bends over and kisses Haruhi on the forehead. Smiling, Tamaki thanks her. Haruhi holds her head where he kissed her and looks stunned. While walking down the stairs, Tamaki says goodbye now, good night, close all the door and windows. Haruhi still looks stunned then she blushes. Tamaki is also blushing as he leaves. He thought, uh oh, I unconsciously did that, but it is okay, because I’m papa, eh..who said that? Around this time in France, in a taxi/car, Kyouya angrily shouts that they are going back to Paris then to Barbizon. Sweatdrop-ing, Hotta says but didn’t Kyouya says that there is no way that she would be there. Kyouya angrily says you talk too much, Hotta.
This chapter is really nice and well, basically or rather pretty much seals Tamaki x Haruhi especially how Haruhi reacted after the kiss. There is a lot of bonding between the two as Haruhi knows more about Tamaki and now, his future dream. Hehe, I wonder how she would react later on when she sees Tamaki. Before she avoids him but now...mm.. I’m amazed at how great Tamaki’s mother’s influence on him. Tamaki is pretty much living based on what his mother had told him. She does look a lot like the princess from the previous chapters. She seems to be such a nice lady that it is no wonder Tamaki's father fell in love with her. I think the old lady didn’t tell Kyouya at first because she wants to know of his motives and who is he really to Tamaki. I wonder if he is going to see her this time around. Poor Hotta, Kyouya tend to vent his anger on him. ^^;

Everyone is jogging in the forest as the animals angrily greet them for disturbing their homes. Ryou chats with Yukari that the place is really something. Then, Ryou notices that he just walked over a rope on the ground. He wonders what it is until they hear a loud rolling sound. The others shout for them to runaway for a huge boulder is coming their way. Everyone is shock. Flashback: The president tells them that he wants them to train in that island for that place has a special environment that would help them succeed in their performance. He will give them a traveling schedule/itinerary though they might have to randomly adapt to the circumstances. Smiling, he says in a low voice, I don’t think anyone would die but there are many traps prepared so they should be careful. Good luck! His audience thought, what did he just say?! End flashback. While they were running, they shout that this could be the trap that the president is talking about. While everyone is running, Narazaki is safe on top of the trees and thought that everyone else is weak. The boulder then falls down a cliff and everyone is safe. While everyone is asking if everyone is okay, they realize that many other people aren’t with them anymore. Ryou and Ayaori notice that Yukari isn’t with them. Ryou plans to find her and he seems displeased when Ayaori offers to help, too. While Ayaori is calling out to Yukari, Ryou remembers Ayaori’s reaction when Yukari gave him some onigiri before. Ryou then tries to ask Ayaori what does he think about Yukari but he has a hard time saying it. Ayaori asks what is it then he steps on a disc on the ground which has a string tied to a tree. It starts to beep out loud and fast that the two boys quickly run away. Elsewhere in the forest, Yukari sees a huge explosion. She realizes that the others are there and how could a manager like her be separated from them. She then loses her footing and fell down a cliff.
Breathing hard, the two boys rest on a tree. Ryou asks if he is still alive. Ayaori says pretty much. They lament that everyone has pretty much separated into different directions and that itinerary is really pretty harsh. Ryou wonders what is the president thinking. Ayaori then asks Ryou what was he saying earlier regarding Yukari. After being surprised, Ryou says it is nothing, it is no big deal, something that his heart is asking. Ayaori asks is that okay. Ryou says it is. Just when Ryou is about to go, Ayaori says it seems that the two of them [Ryou and Yukari] are getting along with each other. Ryou says he can say that. Ryou stops when Ayaori says that the manager/Yukari is a good person, is a nice guy. This shock Ryou as he remembers Ayaori just said that the two of them are getting along with each other. Does it mean that Ayaori likes Yukari? Ayaori walks ahead of him. Meanwhile, Yukari got caught on the tree which she considers lucky of her. She jumps down and looks up to the cliff where she fell. She is pretty much lost and wonders where she is. To her surprise, she finds a castle in front of her. She wonders if this is Peacock’s villa. She noticed a shadow on the window that she decides to go in and ask for directions. She enters the place while keep shouting if anyone is there. She notices a door ajar so she went in. To her surprise, she finds Youko sleeping with tubes inserted on machines. Yukari looks at her from the glass and wonders what Youko is doing in a place like that. She also wonders about all the equipment. She remembers Youko telling her before that right now, her body is okay when she asked how is Youko. Yukari wonders but what about now. Youko opens her eyes and smiles at Yukari. Youko says, you have found me.
Youko invites Yukari for tea as they sit in the living room. Youko tells her that she stays there after being released from the hospital. Since that place is an abandoned island owned by Peacock, she stays there to avoid the media. She asks Yukari about the training. Yukari says it is such a strict training that there are boulders and explosions. Youko smiles and that it seems that the president is having fun. Yukari thought that he is after showing them a v-sign and wishing them luck with a smile before the training. Youko explains that the president is strict but he has his own way of doing it that it will have a good outcome because when one is pressured, they become strong. A scene of a lion throwing its cubs down the cliff. Youko then teases Yukari by saying that if she is free, she would also want to participate in it. Smiling, Youko tells Yukari to keep her situation a secret from Ryou. Youko bids Yukari goodbye after giving her a map. Youko thought that it isn’t quite far away. She is then called out by the president. Yukari apologizes and says that she got lost. The president says it is okay for the others haven’t arrived yet to the training ground as everyone is doing their best. He then asks if she has seen Youko. Youko says she did. The president decides to confide something to Yukari. He tells Yukari that after the play, Youko will have a surgery to remove a fist-size tumor in her head. Yukari is surprised by this as the president looks a bit melancholic. He tells her that they don’t know if it is because of the accident or not, but one of the reason why she kept on sleeping is that tumor. It is such a troublesome surgery so she wants to perform in that play. Yukari asks what does he mean by troublesome surgery. The president says the chance of success is 0% so keep it a secret.
The two boys then find Yukari. Yukari hugs the two which made Ayaori blush while Ryou freaking out. Ryou exclaims what is the matter. Remembering what the president just said about the surgery, Yukari thought what can she do. Back at the castle, Youko is looking out the window and says that the president doesn’t know how to let go of that. [I think she is saying that the president told her condition to Yukari] The president says that he also thinks of his situation and that he is a stubborn/irritating person. Youko asks why is he spoiling Yukari, does he trust her that much. The president becomes melancholic again and says, ah, ah, I really trust her, trust her so much that I want to take away her dream. Back to the trio, the three are breathing hard as they finally arrived at the training ground. They look at the itinerary and that they will soon find the play’s ‘stairway’. Ryou then hears something. They discover a waterfall. Ryou and Ayaori looks into the water and it is quite clear. Yukari sees a bird comes out of the waterfall so she thought that there is something behind it. She tries to look but falls down. Ryou shouts to her. Yukari reprimands herself for leaving by herself again. When she opened her eyes, she finds Ryou calling out to her and asking if she is alright. Yukari blushes and says yes. Ryou looks around as to how they can get out since they are inside the waterfall. The two then sees a stairway leading out of the place. Yukari says, it is the ‘stairway’.
Haha, they are indeed in survival island. A funny thought came to mind like what if they were slow-footed and all of them got killed by such dangerous traps. It is the end of Peacock, end of the story. ^^; Oh well, this is a manga. As I thought, Narazaki can easily evade the traps. If he didn’t, I would be really disappointed. Ayaori decides to keep the peace that he kept his true feelings to Yukari to himself. I do wonder what will Ryou do if he does know. Ayaori isn’t exactly like Nazaraki whom he can quickly ‘fight’ or get Yukari away from. Yukari is really lucky that now, she knows more about Youko’s situation than Ryou himself. It made me think, is Yukari their child or what? I think it is the same thing like other stories. If one has a life-threatening sickness/surgery, should one tell the family member? From what they are doing, it seems that they don’t want Ryou to be hurt about it but then, doesn’t that give Ryou more grief if they all knew but he didn’t. He could be spending more time with his mother or something..oh wait, he is going to during the play. ^^; But still..it would be really devastating if Youko dies. I’m a bit confused with Youko’s condition. One time, she is all hooked up on the machine then she has a visitor, she is now walking around. ^^;; I guess the president also wants Yukari to stay with them and not pursue her original dream of becoming a public servant. So, what would be above that stairway? I think the reason for the training is for the plot of the play. I’m guessing like after all the trials/life-threatening detours, they would finally find the stairway to success/happiness, etc. They would indeed perform it well after experiencing such things in a day.

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, Naruto, One Piece and Gintama

Tesla did leave Inoue and goes to Nnoitra in Bleach [c. 292]. Inoue goes to Ichigo to heal him but Ichigo is still shock over what Nel just did. Nel then hugs Ichigo and squeezes him tight while saying that it is good that Ichigo is okay. Inoue tries to tell Nel to relax a bit since Ichigo might die as his eyes are turning white. They were interrupted when Tesla goes flying. Nnoitra with his left side burnt up reprimands Tesla for letting go of Inoue. Bleeding Tesla apologizes. Nnoitra smiles and explains to surprised Nel that he is still alive because it has been many years since Nel left that place so the past espada aren’t the same as the current espada that the number on her back has no meaning. Back to Ishida, Renji is randomly attacked by hollow friends, Pesshe [antface] and Dondo [bigface]. Ishida then explains the difference between the fake and the real ones. Ishida says for Ishida and Renji, there are marks on the eyes. Dondo’s clones has no dots at their backs while Pesshe’s clones wear trousers instead of loin cloth. The three were shock over this discovery. Ishida asks who the heck are they fighting earlier if they don’t know who’s who. Renji and Ishida murmur about the stupid one who made such glaring mistakes. Aporro [I made it shorter ^^;] says that he isn’t stupid for he just changed them because dots and loin cloth don’t match his sense of beauty. Renji has an idea of escaping by going bankai which his clones also did simultaneously.
The whole dome then collapses. Renji is pleased with himself but loaths being compared to Ichigo by Ishida. Renji thinks that Pesshe and Dondo will be okay after all the dome did collapsed and that their problem is Aporro. Aporro has shield himself with his wings and he is angry for they destroyed the place and so how is he going to report it to Aizen. Aporro destroyed his clones as he tells them he doesn’t want to play anymore. He adds that he is going to show them his true power. There are a lots of funny scenes along with the serious scenes. The author must be in a good mood. =P Mm..maybe while Nel is going to fight with Nnoitra, Inoue can find time to heal Ichigo unless Tesla interferes. I guess from a guy’s point of view, Ichigo is really lucky ^_~ Ishida-Renji interaction is quite funny. Since Aporro looks scared of informing Aizen over the destruction, I wonder what Aizen would have him do..rebuild it on his own as punishment?
Naruto has found Sasuke via clone and tells the others where Sasuke is in Naruto [c. 371]. While chasing, Naruto suddenly looks surprised. At Hidden Village, Jiraiya tells his frog to go back to the village. Using the hostage, Jiraiya tries to meet Pein by disguising himself. He goes out and didn’t notice the paper butterflies are flying behind him. Konan goes back to Pein who is now in a new body. She tells Pein that the intruder is Jiraiya. Pein asks why did she added –sensei to that. Konan asks what he plans to do. Pein says of course to finish Jiraiya after all, that is why he changed bodies. Konan decides to go ahead. Konan’s papers covered the man. When he is about to be stabbed by Konan, Jiraiya reveals himself from the man’s shadow and blast the papers away. While the man coughs from being suffocated by the papers earlier, Jiraiya tells Konan that he is planning to bait Pein when he got Konan instead. Jiraiya tells Konan that her technique has improved and she has become more like a woman. That comment seems to imply that Konan used to be a tomboy. I guess Konan is a former student of Jiraiya along with Minato. Does Pein also know Jiraiya personally or just by name? He didn’t ask who Jiraiya is when told by Konan. I’m getting bored with the meeting but nothing happens between Naruto and Sasuke. For Sasuke, Naruto is such a pest who kept on chasing him but then, isn’t it the same as him who kept on chasing after Itachi? ^^;
Odz looks at the posters and wonders where are the other three –Luffy, Nami and Sogeking – are in One Piece [c. 471]. Perona wakes up and is surprised to see the place ruined. The zombies informed her that it is Odz doing. The wall then is destroyed by Odz looking for a girl [Nami] while Perona is hiding. In a panic, Perona shouts for her zombies to get some food and treasure on to the Strawhats’ ship where she can escape since that place is going to be ruined by the Strawhats and Odz. In some room, Nami wakes up just when Absalom is about to kiss her. She manages to evade it until hippo zombie, Lola came. Lola pretend to be angry at Nami but in reality, she is saving Nami for Nami is her friend. After Absalom blasted Lola away, Nami came back with her clima tact. She electrocuted Absalom and is shock that Absalom fell down. She celebrates her victory, thinking that she has hit a weak spot but in reality, Absalom has drastically weakened thanks to Sanji’s beating. Nami goes to Lola and thanks her for saving her. Nami confesses that she is really a girl. Lola says she knows then goes to Absalom to be his bride while he is passed out. While Odz is destroying the place looking for the rest of the Strawhats, Zoro and others have revived as they shout to Odz that if he has Luffy’s shadow, he shouldn’t underestimate his own nakama’s power. Everyone is up except for Brook. Mm..I wonder if Perona is going to be a stowaway but then, she is returning what she took from the ship plus treasures. I’m sure Luffy and others will be happy about that. The author is still keeping me guessing if Brook will be part of the group or not since he seems to be really a weakling..oh well, he is still a musician. Nami has finally finished off Absalom. I wonder who will Nami join up with – Luffy or the others?
Gin and Katsura hit the missile into the cannon which hit the other flying missle in Gintama [c. 182]. Everyone on the ground braces for the attack and were enjoyed when they realized that they are back to their present age. Boss Princess ship has started to break apart from the impact when the others join up with Gin and Katsura. Boss Princess is pinned down by some debris as she laments her defeat is because she underestimated the old people. Shinpachi tells her that the one who told them of the antidote through the computer is the man whom she is waiting to wake up. Boss Princess couldn’t believe it. Katsura says who knows maybe within that darkness, that man’s wish is only for her not to lose her way. Boss Princess’ men tries to save her but she tells them to leave her and escape for the ship is going to fall apart soon. Boss Princess laments that she is tired of all the waiting and yet in the end, she made that person lonely. She thanks them for showing her the light. There is another explosion as the guy in the tube falls down in the sea and she hopes to join him there. To her surprise, Gin is pulling up a debris that almost fell down on her. Gin reprimands her that after waiting for those many years, why haven’t she forgotten what that guy said to her about being beautiful. Gin tells her that the guy has seen her true ‘soul’ and wasn’t she also the same with that person. No matter if her face is wrinkled, lose her teeth, become like a fool, etc, she should live on with a smile on her wrinkled face. Boss princess is surprised as she realize everyone is helping to remove the debris on her. Boss princess cries over this as she realizes what is true beauty that is not just physical outward appearance. Nerd turtle is pleased with the outcome. Some turtles are telling him to escape as ordered by Boss Princess. Nerd turtle says he is a traitor so he doesn’t have to obey her. He then goes to the others to help Boss Princess. The other turtles also say that they are also traitors and rush to Boss Princess.
In a small eatery, a woman is doing the dishes while drunk Kondou is crying his problem to Hijitaka. A customer then comes in. The woman tells him to be seated. The woman gives Kondou another drink as consolation for being rejected. Kondou says that she is really nice, would she want to be his wife. The woman says she is already committed. Hijitaka asks to hear of her story. Kondou shouts that she is lying. The woman says not to look down on her for she used to be a queen in a country and she is very beautiful. A sign outside the eatery shows that it is Dragon Imperial Palace. Kondou says how about he teach her how to bait someone. She tells her that if he is a man, he won’t be saying such things. The other customer says very beautiful. Kondou shouts to him what is he saying when this woman has already passed her years. The man says compared to the other beautiful people, this is the second time. He then says, Boss Princess, you are the same as before, still beautiful. The woman turned out to be Boss Princess. She turned around and showed her smile that has made her look years younger. That’s a nice ending. The two are finally reunited and the man still recognizes her, not from her looks but of her inner beauty.

[I just read the raws so I’ll update those who read the series below on what happened while we wait for the Chinese scans so that I can summarize them ^_^]
Ouran [c. 55] will make Tamaki-Haruhi fans happy. ^_^ Tamaki gets invited into Haruhi’s house. Haruhi mentions the twins and seems to be in anguish about something. Tamaki tries to comfort her and spills the soup/congee on himself. Half-naked Tamaki saying something serious to Haruhi. In France, Kyouya finds someone who knew Tamaki’s mother. A flashback on Tamaki’s past with his mom. Tamaki had a talk with Haruhi and whatever Tamaki’s decision/dream in life. Haruhi seems to approve of it. The older woman then tell something important to Kyouya that he looks surprised. Maybe where Tamaki's mother is as he is riding on the taxi, I think, in the last scene. As Tamaki bids Haruhi goodbye, he kissed her on the head. It made Haruhi blushing as well as Tamaki. ^_^
Well, in Vampire Knight [c. 32], there are also lots of talking. Kaname agrees to talk with Yuuki. That night, Yuuki talks with Kaname. Yuuki has brought along Zero. I don’t think Kaname told her but I’m curious what was said that made Kaname smile. Hehe, Kaname seems to be using his charm on Yuuki. ^^;; It seems he asked if she wants to be his lover. She then tries to push him away. ^^;; Even though blushing, she exclaims something that Kaname calmly say something until she calms down. I guess she thinks he is trying to get away from telling him her the past like before. Not much reaction from Zero so I wonder if it is all scripted. ^^; Anyway, that is just speculation until I read the Chinese scans to confirm it. I realized why there is no Penguin Revolution [c. 32] Chinese scans last month. It is because it is on hiatus for this month so BW delayed it, I guess. So, they are in survival island. While everyone is running away from traps, Nazaraki is safe. Yukari finds a mansion where Youko is and gave her a map. They went to the waterfalls and in a cave, they found the ‘stairway’.
Nothing much happened in Skip Beat [c. 111] as the first half is Ren still talking with his father and Lory while the other half is Kyouko talking with Ren and Yashsiro. It doesn’t seem that his mother is going to die anytime soon based on Ren’s reactions later on. I thought that maybe it is just his mom’s alibi to see him. Kyouko is gloomy over what Ren would do to her after how she acted towards him as Kuon. Based on their reactions, everything is okay. In V. B. Rose [c. 63-64], flashback of Yukari and Mitsuya has ended on how they became friends. The new arc is now on Mitsuya x Tsuyu. It is April again and Ageha is already in third year high school. I think this series will end when Ageha graduates and probably, a wedding at the end. ^_^

Otomen [Chapters 2-5]

Chapter 2: During lunch, Juuta teases Asuka for being cool and everything yet he can make such a cute bento box. Juuta calls him ‘otomen [second guy]/pink guy [in Chinese]’ for he actually likes cute things, cooking, sewing, reading shoujo manga like a girl. Asuka is embarrassed by it but Ryou disagrees. She thinks it is cute and it is amazing whereas she have a hard time cooking and sewing. Ryou tells them that she has been trying to learn how to bake a cake but she kept on failing in making one. Juuta then suggests that Asuka be Ryou’s teacher in those things and they should go to Ryou’s house. After leaving Ryou for a moment, Asuka asks why does Juuta insist on getting him and Ryou together. Juuta almost slip that it is for his manga then just say it is because they are friends. In the end, Asuka agrees to teach Ryou. As they go to Ryou’s house, Asuka asks why does Ryou want to bake a cake. Ryou tells him that it for her father’s birthday. She says that her father is a police officer so he is always busy and has no time to cook so when her mother died, she is the one doing the cooking. Asuka happily wonders what kind of father she has then he becomes gloomy when he remembered his own father. The two boys were surprised that Ryou lives in a Japanese-style house which is a bit messy. Ryou showed them the crappy cake that she made. Asuka teaches her how to make one by demonstrating it. Ryou and Juuta were amazed at Asuka. While teaching Ryou, Ryou tells him that she would want him to be there when she shows her cake to her father and tell her father that he was her teacher.
Suddenly, they were interrupted by Ryou’s father who is in a karate suit. Her father angrily asks what are they doing. After asking who Juuta is, her father focuses on Asuka shouting that a guy shouldn’t be cooking and making cakes is what girls do. Ryou tries to explain that the two guys are just her friends but her father is already thinking of something else along the lines of boyfriend. Outside, Ryou apologizes to them about her father who wants people to be ‘manly’. While walking home, Asuka reflects on this as well as what his mother said before. Asuka decides to get rid of his shoujo heart to become friends with Ryou. He quickly put the stuffed toys and other crafts in a box and taped it. He then tied up all his shoujo manga. At school, he tells Ryou and Juuta that he won’t make bento box anymore nor touch any sweet things so he can’t teach Ryou how to bake. After some scenes of Asuka suppressing his true nature, he momentarily lose it while kendo practice when he saw a rip on his opponent’s sleeve that he wants to patch it up. Ryou and Juuta are watching him. Ryou is worried that Juuta tells her that Asuka has decide to bury his true self because of her father since Asuka likes her. Ryou says she also likes Asuka. Juuta thought that Ryou’s ‘like’ for Asuka isn’t the same as what kind of ‘like’ [as lovers] that he is thinking. At home, Asuka is tired and tries to do things opposite to what he like – reading shounen manga and not making bento box. During lunch, Ryou invites Asuka to eat her packed lunch – humongous onigiri. Juuta came and says that he likes Ryou even if she can’t cook or sew. Ryou joins in saying that she likes Asuka even if he is an otomen. Asuka asks what about Ryou’s father. Juuta suggests that he win him over in his own otomen way. Ryou tells him that tomorrow is her father’s birthday, would he help her in baking a cake.
In Ryou’s house, her father arrives and is surprised to see that the house is all tidied up. Asuka welcomes him. Ryou’s father starts to rant that he hates that girlie type of guys especially like Asuka. Before he could continue, Ryou shouted for her father that she was the one who invited them there to celebrate with him. Sitting on the dinning table, Ryou’s father is surprised over the dishes cooked. Asuka tells him that he made it. At first, Ryou’s father refuse to eat it but Ryou manages to get back at him about being manly to not talk too much that Ryou’s father finally relents. Ryou’s father eats it and remembers the cooking of his wife. He even remembers his wife when Asuka asks if he wants another bowl of rice. Ryou then comes in with a cake that is not nicely done as Asuka’s. She greets her father a happy birthday. Apparently, her father forgot that it was his birthday. Juuta tells Ryou’s father that a guy knowing how to cook and sew isn’t something embarrassing. Ryou tells her father that if he use those standards then she isn’t a girl since she can’t sew nor cook. Ryou’s father agrees that Asuka does cook well and now he wants Asuka to prove his strength that he can protect Ryou. They have a karate duel and Asuka won. Since Asuka has ripped Ryou’s father’s karate robe, Asuka offered to patch it for him. Ryou’s father finally admitted defeat for Asuka is strong and has ‘manliness’ yet a bit ‘otomen’. As they left, Ryou’s father tells Ryou to take Asuka in [like get him into the family]. Ryou is puzzled. Then, Asuka is embarrassed when Juuta teases him for carrying a sewing kit. Hehe, this is a bit like Yamada Taro Monogatari wherein Taro tries to impress his friend’s grandfather. Ryou’s father remembering his wife when Asuka served him is really the same, too.
Chapter 3: In the locker room, Asuka is reading another chapter of Love Tic when a kendo member enters the room. Asuka quickly hides the shoujo and asks what is it. The kendo member says that it is his classmate. Juuta goes to Asuka asking for his help. Another student came and accuses Juuta of going after his girlfriend. Juuta tries to explain. Asuka tells the other student that this is a kendo practice room so if he wants to beat up Juuta, he should go to another place. The other guy leaves as Juuta is happy that he is saved. During lunch, Juuta is happy that he made friends with Asuka for everyone is afraid of him. Asuka asks about the girl around Juuta. Juuta says that an old relationship. Asuka asks what about that guy’s girlfriend. Juuta says that guy’s girlfriend, Risa, is the one coming on to him though they are quite okay. Asuka firmly says that he doesn’t like people who don’t treasure girls. Juuta happily says he is the same that he likes different girls – Yuka, Risa, etc. Asuka tells him that this won’t happen if he just sincerely love a girl. Juuta says that one can’t resist if one likes girls and isn’t he the same. Asuka firmly says that he wants someone who would love him forever. Juuta says that unlike shoujo manga, this doesn’t happen in real life. This made Asuka angry that he doesn’t want to have anything to do with Juuta again. Asuka starts to leave. Juuta asks weren’t they friends. Asuka tells him that he never became friends with him and their relationship has been only giving him bento box to eat and that’s it. Later on, Juuta starts to worry about his manga if he can’t be with Asuka. In the classroom, Juuta is flirting with Yuka which distracts Asuka who is reading a kendo magazine. When a girl has ripped her sleeve, Asuka offers his sewing kit. It almost revealed Asuka’s true nature but Asuka manages to give a lame excuse. Juuta just looks at him then asks Yuka if she wants to have lunch with him. Yuka says she is eating with someone else, Juuta then asks some other girl. The others start to notice the two’s rift as if they are avoiding each other.
During lunch, Asuka tells Ryou that he will only making bento for the two of them. Ryou is a bit sad when she thought that they were friends. Meanwhile, Juuta is at a loss what to write in his manga that Yuka asks what is he drawing. Juuta changes the topic and asks what does she think of love. Yuka says she wants someone who is tall and cool and doesn’t play around and around 25 years old have already some money and then marry some ordinary guy. He then asks what about some shoujo manga type of love. Yuka says she doesn’t read those manga. While walking in the hallway, Juuta meets Risa who tells him that she has heard that he is eating alone so she offers him her bento box. To his dismay, Risa just cooked some frozen food unlike Asuka’s homemade food. He thought that it seems that Asuka wakes up early to prepare them. He then noticed Risa’s sleeve is rip. Risa tells him that she doesn’t know how to sew and her mother won’t sew it for her. Juuta thought that he kept on thinking that Asuka would help her if he is there. While reading Love Tic, Asuka is flustered over it as he thought that ‘Asuka’ in the manga is quite boyish yet she has a girlish side to her. There is a time when ‘Asuka’ helped a little girl by sewing her stuffed toy. Asuka then remembers that he did just the same when he was in first year. Asuka thought that it is really the same as what happened to him. Meanwhile, Juuta’s assistant asks how could Juuta write a shoujo manga when he is a guy. Juuta says that it is because all of his family members are girls. At school, Ryou asks if they aren’t okay yet as Asuka and Juuta still snub each other. Ryou then invites Asuka out in the weekend to watch a movie. On that day, Asuka thought that it is a date until Juuta shows up and Ryou already has the tickets for them to watch. It is a karate flick about friendship. Unlike the two guys, Ryou seems to like it. After the movie, Ryou says that friendship is nice. This made the two guys look at each other. On a bench, Juuta laments that he can’t imagine himself not being a playboy as Asuka says that they can’t be friends. Juuta remembers that he can’t get first place in writing a manga for he can’t touch the girls’ heart. On day, he passes by and sees Asuka sewing the stuffed toy for a girl. And he used that scenario to get first prize in manga, Love Tic.
The next day, when making swan-shaped cream puff for bento boxes, Asuka made a mistake of making for Juuta’s share. During lunch, Juuta turns down Risa regarding eating together. He tells her that he is going to meet with someone. He is actually trying to catch up with a deadline for his manga submission. Risa’s ex-boyfriend is angered by this that he got some of his friends to gang up on Juuta. Juuta asks them to leave it for next time but they won’t. The ex says if Juuta is scared, why don’t he call his friend. Juuta says that Asuka isn’t his friend. Since he is alone, ex tries to hit him. When the manuscript is going to be hit, Juuta quickly shields it with his body. Ex says that it seems that Juuta and Asuka aren’t friends and maybe Juuta paid off Asuka so that Juuta can play around girls. Juuta angrily says that Asuka isn’t that kind of person who would do that just because of money. Juuta starts to praise Asuka over being strong and intelligent, who can cook great dishes and sew. Juuta starts to say that Asuka is cute and motherly. Juuta adds that Asuka is like a girl when he is in love. Ex and others wonder what Juuta is saying and they were surprised when Asuka himself kicks Juuta. Asuka is a bit embarrassed and tells him not to say those stuff. Asuka says that it is because he made too many so he is sharing some to Juuta. Asuka beats up the ex and the others. Juuta is really happy that he tells Asuka that he is going to tell Ryou that they are friends again. Asuka then finds some drawings of Love Tic spilling from the envelop that Juuta is holding. Juuta’s alibi is that he is a fan of Jewel Tachibana. Asuka is happy to hear that. Soon, they now have something in common – liking Love Tic. The ex is a bit sad since he sincerely liked Risa then he notices a manga of Love Tic on the floor. In the end, ex and others are now fans of Love Tic, too. Juuta is aghast over it as he goes with Asuka and Ryou to eat lunch. This chapter establishes Asuka and Juuta’s friendship. I don’t think Juuta will ever tell Asuka about his manga. It is amusing when Ryou brought them to a karate movie. Hehe I think she is the type who would read shounen manga.
Chapter 4: In the classroom, some girls are talking about horoscopes. Just when Juuta is about to make fun of them, it turned out that Asuka also believes in them. The horoscope says that black is his lucky color that Asuka uses some black colored items. Juuta begins to give Asuka suggestions using the horoscopes about dating with Ryou to an amusement park. Juuta goads Asuka that if he doesn’t do it, Ryou will treat him as forever friends. Asuka says that he doesn’t want to force his love to Ryou. This made Juuta frustrated that the two won’t become steady at how they are thinking. Asuka is too pure while Ryou thinks of liking someone as friends. Asuka mentions that Love Tic has gotten slow lately. Juuta thought it is Asuka’s fault because nothing is happening between Asuka and Ryou. Juuta has been getting letters to quicken the pace of the plot. While eating lunch, Ryou noted that the food are all black-colored – nori seaweed, etc but it is delicious. Juuta teases Asuka about it. While going home, Asuka reflects on what Ryou has told him. At home, Asuka looks if he is a match for Ryou. Their blood type is a good combination at 80%. When he is about to look at the horoscope, he realized that he doesn’t know when is Ryou’s birthday. He then reads that he should put a red thread on his wallet so that he can to be with the one he likes. The next day, Juuta doesn’t have any coins for the vending machine that he asks Asuka if he has some. Juuta notices the red thread. Asuka claims that it is just trash that got in. Asuka then watches on the tv about picking what to give as a gift. Asuka picked scarf when many answered it is a handkerchief. Then, the show tells them about the red thread in the wallet. Juuta laughs at Asuka as Asuka is embarrassed. Juuta tells Asuka not to depend on fortunes and just depend on himself to be with Ryou. Just then, Asuka had an idea.
While walking to school, Asuka notices some bullies threatening a middle east woman, wearing an abaya and niqab. Asuka beats them away as the woman thanks him. The woman asks if Asuka is in love. Asuka tries to deny it until the woman bring out her crystal ball saying that she knows his past, present and future. She tells him that he has a ‘shoujo’ heart and has fallen for a girl who is in the same year as he is but if he let things be, nothing will happen but there is something he can do to change destiny. He asked who she is. She says she is ‘Flower Princess Bean’. At the clubroom, Asuka looks at his fortune book and realizes that it is the same author as the one he met. Asuka quickly hides it when someone is calling him. ‘Flower Princess Bean’ is actually looking outside the room. It turned out to be just Juuta. Juuta thought he is lucky that the random name he chose is actually the same as the author of the fortune-telling that Asuka reads. Juuta is happy that things will go smoothly now. Asuka musters up his courage and using Flower Princess Bean’s advice, he asks Ryou to go to the amusement park with him. Ryou agrees to go. Asuka tells her the time and place they would meet according to Flower Princess Bean’s advice so that they can be happily be together. At home, Asuka blushes while taking a bath that he is going on a date. He then remembers what Flower Princess Bean told him to wear.
On Sunday, in the amusement park, Asuka is wearing a black suit and carries a bouquet of roses. Asuka stands over the balcony while Juuta observes him from behind. Juuta muses that Asuka is like a prince and this is something that would move a girl’s heart so things should go smoothly tonight. Juuta thought that the roses bouquet is a bit too much but Asuka looks good in a suit. Some girls are thinking if he is an actor for he looks good while Asuka is embarrassed. Asuka looks at the clock and it is 7:25, 5 more minutes before the time he will meet with Ryou. Asuka thought that the parade will start at 8pm. He notices that the bull in the parade is quite uneasy then he imagines being with Ryou at the parade. His thoughts were interrupted when the bull attacks the mascot. It is already 7:30 but Asuka decides to leave and help stop the bull when a child tries to confront it. Juuta tries to chase after Asuka shouting does he want to die, it is a bull. He then bumps into Ryou who is also running since she is a bit late. Asuka tosses a rose on the bull so that it will go after him. Asuka uses the roses to lure the bull to him until it finally bumps into a post behind him. Everyone including Juuta and Ryou are amazed at what Asuka did. It is already 7:40 when Asuka goes back to the balcony and finds Ryou standing there. Asuka is already quite messed up and bruised. He apologizes for being late. Asuka is worried that he didn’t follow Flower Princess Bean’s advice. To Asuka’s surprise, Ryou praises him regarding how he dealt with the bull and she finds him really cool. Asuka then asks if Ryou believes in fortunes. Ryou says that destiny is something one makes for himself. Asuka thought that she is cool. Asuka thought that like this is also okay. The two then looks at the stars. Juuta blushes and says that is quite romantic so it seems that his help isn’t needed. Juuta looks at the fortune magazine that regarding love – do whatever you want for there will be no hinderance between the two of you. Juuta is then aghast when Ryou suggests that the three of them come back again and ride on a roller coasted until they puke. Asuka says sure. Juuta thought, it is still a long way for these two. Haha, first ‘date’, thanks to Juuta. Even if Asuka doesn’t admit it, Juuta has a big influence on him especially Juuta’s subtle hints. It is indeed quite cool for Asuka to fight with a bull and since Ryou likes manly guys, she is awed by him. Maybe they will have a proper date next time.
Chapter 5: A boy in a karate outfit is stunned over how Asuka easily defeats the bullies. Juuta comes out and pats Asuka saying that was quite good. Asuka asks where did he came from. Juuta says he is nearby when he heard of the fight. He asks the boy if he is alright. [Juuta address him as a ‘she’] Holding the boy’s hand, Juuta says walking alone in that road is quite dangerous that some bullies came for her so why don’t she go with him. The boy then bows down to Asuka asking him to be his teacher. This puzzled Juuta and Asuka. At school, Asuka is surprised to see the boy taking his bag. The boy offers to bring his bag to class and that he is Asuka’s kouhei. Juuta is all sparkles and says that she is in love. Asuka asks love who. Juuta tells Asuka to stop being in denial for starts to narrate all sorts of situations. Juuta finally stops when Asuka tells him that the one he thought is a girl is actually a boy. Juuta becomes gloomy that he actually thought a boy to be a girl when he acclaims himself for being good at this kind of things. The boy introduces himself as Ariake Yamato from 1-C and asks if he can observe Asuka-sensei. Everyone including Asuka is aghast over what Yamato just asked. Juuta thought is that BL, should he put it in his manga but then, it would be GL in his manga. Asuka looks away and apologizes – he isn’t into that. Yamato apologizes for it since it would be troublesome for Asuka. Yamato explains that since he is young, everyone says that he is like a girl but he really wants to become a man. It turned out that the bullies are teasing him earlier that he should wear more appropriate clothes [of a girl] when Asuka came to help him. Yamato says that when he sees Asuka fighting, he realized that Asuka is the kind of man he wants to be. Asuka finally agrees since Yamato put it that way. Yamato thanks him and he will start tomorrow in observing Yamato’s actions.
Soon, Asuka got himself a stalker. When he goes to school, Yamato greets him. Yamato wants to sit with him. Yamato writes everything he observes on a notebook that Asuka is manly because he doesn’t wear a sweater in winter so he should also do that. Juuta thought sorry, I’m not as strong as Asuka. Yamato notes that a man uses black-colored things since Asuka uses them. Juuta thought that it is because of horoscopes. At the bus, Yamato notes that Asuka likes to read Bushido. When Asuka goes out, Yamato follows and notes that Asuka drink coffee with no sugar or mineral spring water. He also notes that Asuka’s coat matches his pants. When Asuka is dressing up for kendo, Yamato is beside him noting what is below Asuka’s body. Asuka quickly uses his shinai to get Yamato out of the room. Yamato tells Asuka that everything about him is manly. Asuka is already tired that he can’t be himself no matter where he goes since he has to be careful not to expose himself. Just then, Ryou calls out to Asuka. Asuka is about to blush upon seeing her but he stopped himself since Yamato is watching. He then coolly greets Ryou. To Asuka’s surprise, Yamato asks Ryou if she is Asuka’s boyfriend. Asuka stutters as he says that they are just friends. Ryou happily says, yes, we are just friends. Asuka is depressed as Juuta feels sorry for Asuka. Yamato happily tells Asuka that having this kind of [girl] friend is really amazing and cool. Yamato introduces himself and says that he is studying how to be manly from Asuka. Ryou is surprised that Yamato is actually a boy. Juuta asks Ryou doesn’t he look like a girl. [Hehe, to justify that he isn’t the only one who thought Yamato is a girl]. Ryou says he is, for he looks cute. Yamato isn’t happy about that comment and Asuka notices it.
During kendo practice, Asuka notices that Yamato isn’t watching them like before. As everyone goes home, Asuka thought that practice finished late and other club members have gone home. He is then surprised when someone calls out from the window saying that it is already late, go home already. Asuka is surprised that someone else answers that he is going for another lap. Asuka notices that Yamato is running laps around the course. Asuka thought that the karate club members have already gone home yet, Yamato is practicing alone. He then remembers that when Yamato is bullied, he is also practicing alone. While practicing, Yamato thought he wants to become stronger. Asuka remembers himself practicing kendo so that he would become more manly. At school, with Yamato tailing him, Asuka is offered some banana muffin by some girls who baked it for cooking class. Asuka thought that it is cutely packaged and looks delicious but since Yamato is there, he turns it down saying that he doesn’t like sweets. The girls apologize and decided to give it to Yamato for he looks like he likes to eat sweets and he looks cute. Yamato is again sad over that comment. While walking in the hallway, Yamato tells Asuka that he to confess to someone but he doesn’t have the courage to confess because he has been quite unsuccessful with the others he had confessed before. The reason is that he is short, his voice and build are like a girl’s and most of all, like a girl, he is quite cute. Since no one thinks of him as a man, he decide to create an image of the kind of man he wants to be and he finally seen that person in Asuka. Asuka is admired by girls and respected by boys. Some guys and even the ex [from last chapter] and his gang greets Asuka when he passes by. Yamato continues that Asuka is athletic, intelligent, looks like a hero, doesn’t smile thoughtlessly, his hair is flowing, tall, and eyelashes are long. Asuka thought even long eyelashes are included. Yamato says that Asuka is his image of a man so staying with Asuka, he hopes to study Asuka’s strong points that one day, he will become like Asuka.
They were interrupted as Juuta comes out from the door to the roof. Juuta tells Asuka to hurry it up since Ryou is waiting. Yamato is about to say that he wants to eat with Asuka but Juuta didn’t notice him. Juuta asks Asuka what is the dish for the day, didn’t Asuka say yesterday that they will have muffin for snack. Asuka quickly calls out to Juuta. Juuta realizes that Yamato is with Asuka. Yamato asks does Asuka cook. Juuta quickly lies that it isn’t true for didn’t he say that Ryou cooks for them so how could Asuka even cook. Yamato agrees for he thinks that Asuka isn’t the type to make his own bento for this would not match his image. Yamato says if Asuka does that kind of thing then he would really be disappointed. During lunch, Asuka is really gloomy that Ryou asks what is the matter. Ryou asks didn’t Yamato came with him. Asuka says that he manages to get Yamato to leave as he told Yamato that this is something he can’t show Yamato. Juuta says if Yamato is troubling Asuka why don’t he just tell Yamato to leave. Asuka says that is right but he can’t just leave Yamato for he is the same as him. Juuta asks they aren’t alike from their appearance. Asuka says that isn’t what he meant. They didn’t notice that Yamato is peeking from the door as he wants to see how Asuka/a man eats. Juuta says that Yamato is like an otomen but his is on his physical appearance. Yamato sees the bento box and thought that it is really nicely made like a girl’s. He wonders if Ryou made it. Juuta says that Asuka doesn’t want Yamato see the cute bento box he made since he won’t believe that Asuka makes this kind of bento boxes everyday. Yamato is shock when he overhears that. Juuta says that in reality, Asuka is like a girl, who likes to cook, sew and sweet stuff. Yamato throws his notebook from behind Asuka. Asuka and Juuta are surprised to see Yamato standing outside the door. Yamato is shock that Asuka is that kind of person and Asuka has lied to him. Yamato runs away and Asuka follows him.
While running, Yamato is angry that he thought he have found his image of a man but he never thought that Asuka is that kind of person. He then bumps into the bullies he encountered on the day he met Asuka. They say it is the girl from before. They grab him and ask him to apologize for getting them hit by Asuka. Asuka then finds him. Yamato asks if Asuka is going to save him again like before, he doesn’t need his help. The bullies get a bit scared when they saw Asuka. To Yamato’s surprise, Asuka says he isn’t going to save him because Yamato is a guy. The bullies then were shock that Yamato is actually a guy. They start to beat him up as they say since he is a guy, the apology would not be the same. Asuka shouts to Yamato what is he training for, he should fight them because he is a guy. Yamato stands up. The bullies laughs at Yamato for crying. Yamato then did a flying kick on one of the bullies. The other bullies then start to punch and kick Yamato. Asuka shouts if he is a man, he shouldn’t give up and fight until the end. Yamato is all beaten up and he thought that this is the first time that Asuka didn’t treat him like a girl. Asuka then decides to join the fight. The two bullies say didn’t he say he won’t fight. Asuka says he never said that. The next day, bandaged up Yamato greets Asuka who is with Juuta. Yamato thanks Asuka for yesterday. Juuta asks Yamato wasn’t he disappointed after realizing Asuka’s true nature. Yamato says it isn’t so for Asuka has taught him what it is to be a true man and that is why Asuka has lied to him. Because of Asuka, he has become more confident and this time he can confess. Asuka is happy about that.
Juuta perks up and asks to whom is Yamato going to confess and is it in the same year as Yamato, when did he like that person. Yamato says when it rains. They were puzzled. Yamato says when it is raining and a girl forgets her umbrella. He will hit the girl with an umbrella and coolly says use this what I got from the trash. He would then run into the rain. Then, that girl would pass by and see him playing with a puppy on the road. The girl will think, ah, he can have that kind of reaction. The girl will say, I really don’t understand you, you seems to have that side of you that I don’t know. He then holds the umbrella and goes close to her, saying but of course, I like you. Juuta is shock over Yamato’s vain attempt for a confession and who is the guy that Yamato is imaging himself to be. Yamato asks isn’t that really nice. Juuta isn’t convinced but Asuka likes it and encourages Yamato. One day, it is raining, Yamato bumps a girl’s head with an umbrella and asks her to use it, something he got from the trash. The girl is angry. Yamato then tearfully tells Asuka and Juuta that the girl then said I don’t want any trash. Yamato cries that it seems he needs to be athletic, cool and pretty image, tall legs and long eyelashes also flowing hair so that this confession would be successful. Asuka feels sorry for him while Juuta thought that the qualification that Yamato narrated isn’t the problem. Hehe, don’t have much to comment here as Asuka just helped out a student. ^^; Though Yamato’s image of a man seems to be more on just physical appearance.
