Random Japanese Drama Blahs

I had finished three Japanese dramas of last season. The first one is Sapuri/Suppli. The story is basically a love polygon with focus on a successful workaholic career woman and a parttimer who doesn’t seem to know what to do with his life. Then, there is a side story on their boss having a bit of difficulty with his daughter who was left to him for a while as his ex-wife went abroad. As I wrote before, I thought that this focused on romance but then, somehow ended up being a bit of lecture on how to make cms/commercials and life being in the advertisement agency which means pleasing clients and trying to keep up the originality or lose to the rival company. I find the character development a bit rushed near the end and well, it is a bit predictable. It seemed that the characters tend to be rash or do things at the spur of the moment. ^^; Unfortunately, I didn’t quite like the characters though find Mr. Enjoy being a bit interesting and some of his quotes. The person I don’t like in this series is the married woman who lured back this other wannabe bf of the lead only to dump him in the end for her husband. It is a bit irrationable for him to be still be talking with her that he actually lose a potential gf but then, he only has himself to blame. He did the noble thing in the end that I can’t help but wish him good luck in his new job and hopefully, he will find the woman he deserves. Everything went back to the way it was at the end, more or less and well, the things that changed is the two lovers as one finds a reason for working while the other finds a reason for relaxing a bit while working. In short, they supplement/suppli each other’s needs.

The other one is Kekkon Dekinai Otoko aka The Man who Couldn’t Marry. This turned out to be a slice of life series on singles. The lead is content being with single, that he is a bit unsociable and blunt that he hurts other people’s feeling without nothing it. He isn’t all that bad for he is actually a successful architect, thanks to his agent who manages to pacify him or make amends with people he had arguments and a patient assistant, he is a good cook and quite knowledgable about things though it can come across as being a know-it-all. It was later on that he realized that he is actually a bit lonely and people around him realize that what he says at times, doesn’t reflect what he really does – that is actually a good thing like he doesn’t care about his neighbor but actually, he does that he scared off her stalker for her. Then, there is the doctor, female lead, who is now accomplished with life and everything a career woman wants but then, no husband to go home, too that she spends the night eating alone at a ramen resto and reading manga in a manga café. Things changed when she and the archietect met. Little that they know that each other affect each other and came to have feelings but then, as in the end, change needs time as the architect is not keen on going to marriage yet but like his mother thought, I think they would do later on. The fun episode is how Ken-chan, the bulldog of the neighbor actually melted the architect’s heart and they became ‘secret’ friends. For a while there, I actually wanted to have a dog, too. ^^; Overall, it is okay unless you are looking for ‘pretty’ leads though there is a cute one here, the assistant of the architect. He would be in the drama series, iirc, Teppan Girl. A manga based drama about a girl who is good at making teppanyaki [cooking food in front of customers on a grill] while looking for her father. Even if the plot seems ordinary, the food could look delicious and I might get some tips. =P I don’t think anyone softsubs this and the hardsubs is delayed.

The other one is My Boss My Hero. It is about a son of a yakuza boss who has to graduate high school in order to become the successor. From the first episode, I can already guess how this story would turn out. He would manage to win everyone’s hearts and in the end, he would have his own problem. I have seen a couple of Japdramas with this theme, I forgot the titles. The fun part here is when he realized that he was in love with his classmate. I wish they would have developed more of his relationship with his younger brother for at the end, I’m a bit confused if they ‘hate’ each other in some way or not. Actually, I’m confused if his younger brother became caretaker and he would be boss afterwards for that seemed to have switched later on..or I didn’t understand the subs. ^^;; Anyway, the ending is open ended. He got expelled when he tried to save his classmates from his rival yakuza but gave away his identity. They did forgave him for lying since they were able to enjoy high school because of him. His classmate offered to date again when she is older but he suggested to check on the other classmate, his first friend’s feelings who also like the girl. At the end, he went back to high school [a different one] as another attempt to graduate. So, at means, his younger brother would be caretaker and hopefully, isn’t too much of a villain to not give it back. It is interesting that the rival gangs prefer the younger brother whom they considered is weak. I would have preferred for both to be bosses for he has the strength while his younger brother has the brains.

I have already watched two jdramas for this season. The first one is Tatta Hitotsu no Koi/Just One Love. A poor shipbuilder worker, Hiroto and his friends, a mechanic and delivery boy? went fishing [illegal at some port] and while trying to go to a resto to sell them met these two girls. One girl bumped on them and had the fishes slash all over her. Hiroto got a bit angry when the girl whines about it. Later on, it is obvious that Hiroto hates the rich in a stereotypical way like they are sacrcastic and hypocrite, etc. They got a poster invite to this club where the girls in that university would meet with boys of another university. They paid for the ticket and tried to meet with other girls, well, it was more of Hiroto who told them it is just a game but had a change of heart that he later on threw away the numbers he got from the girls. Then, there he met the girl, Nao whom he splashed the water earlier. They talked a bit and it is somewhat of love at first sight – something like that but a bit awkward with each other. Then, Hiroto tired to date her alone but she turned him down as she said for everyone to go to a place on Halloween. Then, Hiroto actually wanted to stood her up but had a change of heart that he went there. They talked a bit and Nao told him that she likes the ‘truth’ for lies makes life complicated. I think Hiroto is a bit callous to not react on that for he and his friends actually lied that they are rich. Later on, Nao wanted to return that jacket that Hiroto lend him. To her puzzlement, everyone at the university says that there is no student Hiroto and when she went to the resto that they say they frequent, she then learned the truth, they are poor and Hiroto is actually a shipbuilder worker. And the last scene was Nao confronting Hiroto at where he worked and called him a liar. I was actually happy to see that they didn’t drag ‘lie’ about being rich since it would just complicate at the middle and resolved at the end, forgive which was the cliché. I read that this is more on Romeo and Juliet so that focus would be on the two families not wanting the two to be together. Nao is a daughter of a jewelry store owner. I’m a bit worried about her father’s concern about her ‘body’ and kept on asking how she is. Does that mean she has some health problems and if this is indeed based on Romeo and Juliet, isn’t that a tradegy. The narrator is Hiroto so would that mean, he was telling the story after all that has happened. Anyway, the story is okay though I’m still a bit confused with Hiroto’s character – being prejudice with the rich and yet, trying to be cool..he doesn’t seem to know it but the way he is acting, he is like the rich that he hates – playing ‘games’. I guess Nao would change the way he looks at the rich. The male lead in Suppli/Sapuri plays the lead again. I kind of like his character here than in Suppli/Sapuri though I don’t quite get both characters ^^; The delivery boy friend is the ‘assistant’ of the lead in My Boss My Hero. I do wonder if he would be typecast for such roles – the not good looking and everyone picks on him type of character.

The other one is 14 sai no Haha/14 year old Mother. This is quite a controversial drama, they say and well, it isn’t actually the type of drama I would be watching but my mom is interested in it. I have actually seen 2-3 dramas about unplanned pregnancy and I’m not keen on watching this one but well, for my mom, I decided to check it out, too. Obviously, the story is about the life of a 14 year old girl who found herself pregnant and how it affects the lives of people around her. Miki is quite an active student, physically and carefree. She has this ‘lover’ or friend from a cram school. The boy is a bit of a loner and has parents’ problem [more on mom thinks of work and wanting him to achieve great things for it seems the father left them and the mom wants to prove herself to the father]. While on a date, they ran into some bullies and while taking refuge on some place, did it for the first time..a moment passion. Ever since then, Miki found the boy to kept on apologizing and his mother telling him to not waste his life on some useless girl. Around this time, Miki noticed some changes in her body. Being the intelligent girl she is, she surfed the net about it when she chanced upon a book regarding pregnancy for she missed her period two months since the incident. Then, she even shoplifted a pregnancy kit. She doesn’t know what to do for it is positive. She asked the boy about marriage and babies, the boy’s reaction, I don’t want to get married because of his parents’ situation and so no babies. She was depressed. She wanted to tell her mother but then, she has a hard time, too. Then, she went to her uncle’s place and saw the dog she and the boy rescued, noticing that it is big already, then she started to cry. The preview shows her parents reaction when they learned of it. Interestingly, I didn’t find a dull moment in the first episode. I didn’t quite like the opening [mom kept on asking why are they on the bed [all wrinkled as if they are in a flower] as I told her, it is just an opening ^^; ] but then, overall, it is quite interesting that I wanted to know what happened next though I already somewhat know what would happen. I was right though that the lead Miki is actually the young girl in Sapuri/Suppli. At times, she looks young and at times, she looks mature – make up? I’m also thinking about health concerns regarding pregnancy in such a young age. Wouldn’t there be complications? Anyway, I’m downloading episode two.

The other new drama that I wanted to watch is Nodame Cantabile but then, because of some technical problems of the hardsubber, I decided to wait for it before resorting to the raw + softsubs. How many episodes this drama would have is a bit confusing. The subber notes it has 11 episodes while in some other site, I read it has 15 episodes, ending on Chrismtas Day. Hehe, that is a reason why I really wanted to see this drama. A drama ending on Christmas Day, they got to have it romantic and really good, I hope. ^_^ I haven’t read the manga this is based on and there is some hype to it. I had read that kids in Japan liked the manga that it made them be into classical music. They are making a cd based on the classical pieces mentioned in the manga. If I recall, has an award. Mm..checking for wiki, there is an anime planned for this one and it doesn’t seem to have ended yet.

Penguin Revolution [Chapter 22]

Yukari was surprised that Youko is Ryou’s mother and that she is actually the president’s wife. He then told Yukari that it is a secret. I think the president said that Youko wouldn’t have been an actress in that day and that he haven’t been able to sense good actress ever since. [I guess he is saying that if it haven’t been for him, Youko wouldn’t be discovered] They were then interrupted by the secretary as the president have an appointment. On the way out, she told Yukari that Ryou has already gone home ahead of her. While walking, the secretary asked that he seemed to be quite interested in Yukari. He replied that it is because it is quite the same. He with Youko and now Yukari with Ryou. He then wonders what is Yukari’s dream. Yukari came home as she apologized for coming late and asked if Ryou is hungry. To her surprise, Ryou isn’t home.

Ryou is walking in the streets with a note on his hand. He went to Yasuoka [Peacock’s rival, hehe, finally found the kanji-romanji ^_^ I called it yasu-gang before ^^;] company. At the reception, Ryou asked for Ms. Kano. The secretary calls as Ryou thought that the building is quite bigger than theirs. The secretary then told him that he can go up. At a Chinese inspired room complete with some statues and burning incense, Ryou patiently waits. Then, this middle aged man, carrying papers dropped them on the table and introduced himself as Shuuji Yasouka, the president of Yasuoka company. Ryou was surprised as Shuuji then invites him to join their company. Ryou quickly told him that he is there because of what Kano told him about a certain thing. Ryou wonders if Shuuji knew of it. Then, a flashback of Ryou meeting with Kano. Ryou while being hold by Ebisu, told Kano he doesn’t care what they know but he doesn’t like the way they do things. Kano then told him is it because Peacock is strict? that it is hard to have a chance to talk with him. Kano then invites him to join Yasuoka but Ryou quickly rejects her offer. Kano says that she knew he would say that but then, this isn’t really a bad thing though Peacock would be troubled/given problems since it involves Ayaori. She then says wouldn’t he want to grab this chance to prevent things from happening. Ryou asked what they plan to do with Ayaori. She then says that if he wants to know, he should go to their company but he must not tell anyone for it would be best for Ayaori. She then hands her the address of their company. End of flashback. Ryou then asked Shuuji what they plan to do with Ayaori. Shuuji then says about the 7 year old story of Peacock’s famous actress Youko. Ryou was surprised. He then says that Youko was in his company and he isn’t really too happy that this guy [president of Peacock] would just take her away from them and the the story of the criminal’s son [Ayaori – since his father caused the accident.]

Back at the trio’s apartment, Ayaori comes home and says he is back. Yukari just stares at him that Ayaori repeats himself. Yukari then welcomed him home and asked if he had seen Ryou. He said that he haven’t then Ayaori was surprised by the many dishes that Yukari made. Yukari says that it does seem she made too much. Yukari says that Ryou must have gone some place and asked if Ayaori would want to eat first. Ayaori declined and suggested that she call Ryou’s mobile phone. Yukari says that no one is answering and it would be troublesome if she kept on calling and that only two hours has passed. Peacock has given her a mobile phone. Ayaori then pats Yukari’s head and says that she must be worried. Yukari blushes. Ayaori then tries to call Ryou but there is no answer either. Ayaori then says that since Ryou is a boy, they shouldn’t be worried about him. Yukari blushes and says, yes.

Back at Yasuoka, Ryou said so what if Ayaori was abandoned, he is still Ayaori. Shuuji says is that really so, what if other people know about it. Ryou was surprised. Shuuji then says spreading about it would ruin Ayaori’s ‘clean and nice’ image even if they would forget about it later on. Ryou, shaking, told him that is below the belt/he is being evil. Shuuji says what is he saying for the one being destroyed isn’t him. Ryou then gets angry as there are flashbacks of meeting young Ayaori and of Yukari calling him as she tells him he has wings. Ryou then asked him if there is something wrong with his brain, is it because the enemy is too strong that he has to resort to this tactic. Ryou says that he also has wings. Shuuji said that he is quite naïve to be brave like that and yet he doesn’t understand things and what would Ayaori think. Ryou then says not to think he [Shuuji] also understand things for you think of Ayaori...He didn’t finish as he suddenly lost strength and sat down. Ryou is shaking as he wonders what happened. Shuuji then says that Ryou is indeed naïve. Shuuji then goes to the incense and opens the cover as he asked Ryou didn’t he noticed that he [Ryou] smelling this and feeling different. Ryou was angry that he got tricked as Shuuji said that the medicine is quite strong that Ryou would feel tired and he should rest for 2-3 days. If he told the secret, it would be weird for Peacock and he [Shuuji] would be troubled. He then says that he does this to comfort? Ryou and compared to Ayaori’s cousin, Ryou has potential but he can wait. He then says that he was Youko’s guardian and this is revenge. Then, he left. Ryou then felt dizzy as he remembers his father introducing Ayaori to him and telling him that Ayaori would be part of their family. Then, his father tells him that he is going to make Ayaori be part of Peacock. Ryou begins to worry about what Shuuji said but then, he remembers Yukari telling him that they have a lot of projects offered to him. Ryou wonders what has he been doing and thought that he wanted to go home immediately and tell Yukari. Then, he fell asleep.

Back at the house, Yukari is busy flipping over the job offers as Ayaori is reading a book. The clock is ticking. Yukari then stands up and says that she is going to the bathroom. Ayaori then asked that was quick for she just went there. Yukari then noticed that Ayaori is still reading the same page. The clock kept on ticking. The two then jumps up and getting ready to leave as Ayaori wonders if Ryou is lost? as Yukari then says that he could be at Yasouka company. Ayaori was surprised as Yukari says that earlier the day, Ryou met with two of Yasuoka’s people and that she thought that Ryou started acting weird. Ayaori was a bit speechless. At the company, they peeked from the corner as Yukari says that she is going to ask the receptionist if Ryou went there. Yukari came back and told Ayaori that it seems they won’t tell ordinary people. Ayaori suggest that he be the one to ask. Yukari says that it would be dangerous for he might meet his cousin even though he currently looks like an ordinary person. Ayaori then says that he would then have to go ‘Ayaori Makoto’ mode. He then tries to comb his hair but his hair kept on flying away. Yukari thought that if it isn’t the hair stylist, it is useless to fix Ayaori’s hair. Ayaori then bought a cap and removed his glasses. He then became good looking as Yukari was pleasantly surprised and wished Ayaori good luck. He then went to the receptionist to ask about his friend. She then asked what is his name but he just turned on his charms as he told the receptionist that he just secretly went there. The receptionist kept on thinking it is ‘Ayaori Makoto’ as Ayaori manages to learn where Ryou was. Yukari hears it and quickly went to the office.

When Yukari managed to get in the elevator unnoticed, Ayaori then prepares to leave as he calls the president. Then, a flashback of young Ayaori carrying a teddy bear. His relatives doesn’t want to take him – their child is going to high school, Ayaori’s father is into drugs, etc. He then had lived with his cousin Rena but her father badmouths him and Rena destroyed his teddy bear. Ayaori then was croaching with his teared up teddy bear on the floor. He then thought that he is hungry then someone holds him, it was the president who told him to go to his house. Ayaori followed him as the president introduced him to Ryou. To Ayaori’s surprise, Ryou accepted him.

Yukari then found the office and saw Ryou lying on the sofa. She quickly went to him and calls him to wake up as she slaps him on the face. Ryou wakes up and pinches Yukari’s face. He says that Yukari is smiling, that’s good. He then hugs Yukari who was a bit stunned. Ryou then realized that he isn’t dreaming that he quickly draws away from her and shouts in shock. Ryou then apologizes to Yukari as she tries to tell him it is okay. Ryou then says that the scent in that place is weird so she better use towels to cover her nose. Then, Ryou collapses again – maybe partly because the towel he put on Yukari was the towels he used in school. Then, Yukari’s mobile phone is ringing. It was Ayaori who asked if she has found Ryou. Yukari told him that she did. Ayaori then warns them to be careful for he just seen some people heading that way. Ryou is back to normal, a bit as they both peeked out the door and to their surprise, Ebisu is there. Ebisu tries to grab them but Yukari, using her akido, easily tossed Eibsu away. Ebisu stands up again as they tried to escape. They went to the roof but Ebisu followed them up. Then, they noticed a helicopter and the president is in it. Ryou then grabs Yukari as he quickly went to the side of the building and climbs up the ladder that was put down from the helicopter. Yukari was blushing as Ryou shouts, sayonara. Ebisu just stares after them as Shuuji asks if they got away. Ebisu apologizes but Shuuji says it is okay for he has already have what he needs.

Below the streets, people are wondering about the helicopter with people on the ladder and asked if they are filming. In the commotion, Ayaori walks by them. On the ladder, Ryou apologizes to Yukari for making her worried. He says that he has something to tell the president/his father but he can’t tell her what it is yet. Yukari says it is okay and she won’t ask. Ryou smiles and says that there is something that he wants to tell Yukari that while he was there, he kept on thinking about wanting to see her. Yukari blushes. Ryou then went to talk with his father as Yukari thought that Ryou is now safe and managed to escape from Yasuoka company. She didn’t hear what Ryou and the president were talking about but then, on the second day, she already knew what it was. On the tabloids, the title says the true story behind Youko’s death – the villain/culprit is Ayaori Makoto’s father.

I do agree with Ryou that what Yasuoka’s plans are quite devious and I guess it is because they have no other thing to ruin Ayaori/Peacock and they have no actor/actress of his caliber. They did try to get Ryou in their stead but then, I do wonder, maybe Shuuji got Ryou there to confirm things – like based on Ryou’s reaction, he knows that there hunch about Ayaori’s father is the truth. Rena is really thicked-face for bullying Ayaori when he was a kid and now tries to be ‘holier than thou’ as if she is the next best thing in showbiz. No wonder the president didn’t took her in. It does seem that Ayaori owes Ryou and the president a lot for they are the ones who took him in when everyone has abandoned him. I guess if it comes to Yukari, Ayaori would easily give way to Ryou. How would people react – well, it it is Ayaori’s fans, of course they would empathize with him since what does he got to do with his father’s crime when he is still a kid. Of course, there would be people who would think father-son is the same.

Vampire Knight [chapter 21]

Back at the classroom, Yuuki is a bit worried about Zero who didn’t went to class. At the dorm, the president was chasing after Zero when Yuuki came. Yuuki asked if he is okay and Zero said he is. The president then told Yuuki that Zero is lying and forced him to go back to rest. While the president is cooking something, Yuuki asked Zero to check the assignment as she thought that she can’t ask Zero about the other night. Zero says that there is a mistake and Yuuki was surprised. Yuuki then bends near him and told him that he can drink her blood if he needs it. Zero says that he doesn’t need it. Yuuki then points something else on the notebook and then, she suddenly bit Zero’s neck. [Ah, did she just gave him a kiss mark?] This surprised Zero that he quickly pushed her away. Yuuki said that it is because she is the one always being bitten? so it is a return courtesy. Yuuki then shouts for him to quit dallying and just have her blood. Zero then pushed/picked her up like a cat and placed her at the door. Zero told him that it is okay and she can go. Zero slammed the door as Yuuki thought that Zero is angry and irritated that he can’t forgive needing her blood? It is good that Shizuka is dead that woman who has been tormenting Zero. That night when Shizuka’s body became crystal and the enemy is now his younger twin brother who has escaped. Zero then says it isn’t me..who killed...Yuuki remembered Shizuka saying that she wanted Zero to perish with her but Zero saying about coming back and she can only believe what he said. At the other side of the door, Zero looked sad again and holding his arm.

The night class council are then discussing about what happened that night. I think Kaname seems to agree that Zero is indeed the killer that he noticed Aidou seems to be stiff. Aidou denies that there is something wrong. After class, Kain asked what’s with Aidou as Aidou asked what does he know about Shizuka. Kain says something about being dangerous to humans and has been an enemy of the Kiriyuu family. She has a fiancé who used to be a human turned vampire. That guy’s name appeared at the hunter association list so was attacked so Kiriyuu attacked the fiancé has somehow became? level E so that is the reason why Shizuka killed Zero’s parents. I think they said that the head of the vampires, aristocrats, disagreed with what she did/doesn’t want to fight with vampire hunters that she escaped and did what she wanted to do but Aidou wondered why would Shizuka be welcomed in Kurosu school. Aidou said that it is because something is needed..as he remembered Kaname biting into Shizuka – having pure blood would make one stronger. Then, a flashback of Kaname saying that he will destroy what Shizuka detests – a thing that ruins/makes the lives/destiny of purebloods in disarray. Aidou then asks if Shizuka’s four year revenge is really over as Kain was just silent. At a gathering, Kaname then tells everyone to listen to his request. Everyone obliges as Ruka asked if Kaname really would as Kaname smiles.

Yuuki climbs up the fence and goes down the wall of the school to meet a student? with glasses who asked her if this is Kurosu school. He says that because of overtime that he is late. Yuuki then felt something different from him that she realized that he was a vampire. Glasses student then extends the nails of his hands and asked if she is a perfect/guard and that he want to ask something –where the famous perfect is. Yuuki already extends her staff as she thought that he is an enemy. He goes for the attack when Zero uses his hand to grab glasses’ hand as he carries Yuuki with the other hand. Zero asked him why is he [glasses] looking for him. Yuuki then asked if Zero is alright. Glasses smile and says Zero Kiriyuu, the one who killed pureblood Shizuka, the highest council of Vampires, is going to sentence you for your crime. Both Yuuki and Zero were surprised.

And things are getting worse for Zero. He must be Kaname’s scapegoat and I don’t think Aidou would actually testify for Zero unless he wants to be Kaname’s enemy. I wonder what is the punishment but then, Zero might degrade to level E already, isn’t that punishment enough? Yuuki is fast becoming going into the mold of ‘damsel-in-distress’ for she is being saved again and again by the two guys in her life. I actually would have wanted her to show what she is made of but then, Zero just has to save/help her. Actually, I shouldn’t be expecting much since this is a shoujo and most shoujo female leads are like that. Well, the title is Vampire Knight so I’m now thinking it means ‘a knight’ of Yuuki who is a vampire either Zero or Kaname. Kaname does seem to have a hidden agenda and I do wonder if it is all for Yuuki or just for himself. I’m thinking that his plan has started moving the time when he agreed to make the night class in Kurosu school. He got the trust of the younger vampires and I’m guessing he is going against the leaders of the vampire clan. Mmm..two purebloods in love with humans..is that the destiny Kaname was mentioning? =P I have a feeling that the next time Ichiru appears again, he might suffer Shizuka’s fate of appearing and then just be killed off.

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, D. Gray-man, Naruto and Gintama

There is no One Piece this week and I thought it isn’t that good that there has been no scanlations out with Naruto/Bleach. ^^; In Bleach [c.247], Yamato was informed that Renji and Rukia are missing. Both Ukitaka and Byakuya were also informed. At Huenco Mundo, Ichigo was surprised to see Rukia and Renji. I can actually guess what they would do to Ichigo if they meet – of course, they punch him. Hehehe, when did they actually hug and greeted each other normally. =P They send Ichigo flying that Ishida asked if he is alright. Rukia lectured him about not trusting them to return and help him out and he should remember that they are comrades/nakama. Ichigo was surprised and agreed to what she said. They then rode on the hollow worm as Ichigo asked why they are wearing capes. Rukia said that they were informed that Huenco Mundo is a desert. When asked who told them, Rukia blushes and said that it was Byakuya who gave it to them. Ichigo, Ishida and Sado were shock. Ichigo asked if it was Byakuya brought then there. Renji said that Byakuya just led them to the human world and it was Urahara who opened the door to Huenco Mundo. Rukia then said that her brother told them that he was just ordered to bring them to soul society but there was no order what to do with them when they get there so he let them do as they want. Ichigo was about to praise Byakuya for being nice until Rukia continues that Byakuya says that he doesn’t want a kid like Ichigo wandering about Huenco Mundo. It made Ichigo angry.

Rukia then noticed that hollows and asked them what are they. Nell and brothers introduced themselves but they can’t seem to agree on the name of their group. At Inoue’s room, she just dressed up when Ulquiorra came in to say that it suits her. Inoue was surprised that he came as Ulquiorra told her to keep it down for she is being loud. He then informed her that her comrades had came to Huenco Mundo. Inoue was surprised and asked why. Ulquiorra pointed out the obvious that of course it is to rescue her for there is no other motive than that. Ichigo and group finally arrived at the buildings and destroyed a wall. I’m amused, is Ulquiorra some sort of personal escort of Inoue? ^^;; I’m thinking he would be an important character later on since he did made it on the tankouban/volume covers. Also, there is Byakuya, he can’t resist helping out his sister but then, he still doesn’t like Ichigo...it would indeed be really funny/amusing if IchigoxRukia pairing happens, Ichigo would have Byakuya as his bro-in-law. Hehehe I wonder if Nell and brothers would have a role afterwards now that they have arrived at their destination. I’m guessing they would be wandering around next week and meet an enemy as the cliffhanger. That would be typical shounen. The color spreadout is Aizen’s group vs Ichigo’s group. Mm..no arrancars.

While in D. Gray-man [c. 94], Kanda did managed to slash up Skin badly but then, Skin managed to regenerate and injure Kanda with his electric shocks that Kanda’s hands are already badly burned. To Kanda’s surprise, Skin has put chains in him and told Kanda that as Kanda slashes him, the chains had been hooking into Kanda’s body. Skin now begins to electrocute Kanda while tossing him around. Kanda has ‘died’ and revived by that tattoo of his. Skin was shock that Kanda is still alive as Kanda is annoyed/angry [because he had ‘died’, I guess] as he try to break the chains with his katana. Skin told him that it is useless for Kanda is just fast while he is stronger. Skin sends of another electric shock. Ah, I think Kanda just ‘died’ again. As Skin gloats about Kanda’s katana being useless, Kanda still grabbed on it and stared at Skin. Skin was surprised by Kanda’s stare as he wonder if Kanda doesn’t fear death. Then, the gound is shaking again as Kanda thought that the place is going to collapse already. Hehehe, I actually forgot Kanda’s revival technique. I do wonder how many revivals Kanda has. I wonder if the place would just self-destruct and make way for Kanda to just retreat or escape but then, it is highly doubtful that Kanda would do that. Anyway, I like the cover pic – Kanda relaxed and sleeping while Allen stressed out, helping dishes. The side note says that it is because of the teachers’ discipline. I guess if that is true then Theodore is laid back while Cross is a slave driver. ^^;;

Asuma was indeed heavily injured by Hidan’s curse in Naruto [c. 327]. They were all in trouble when reinforcements with Ino and Choji came. Shikamaru has a glimmer of hope when he realized that Asuma is still alive though barely that he asked Ino to do some healing regardless of how little she knows and hurry back to the hospital. Hidan and Kakuzu aren’t about to let them go. Luckily for Asuma, the head? of Akatsuki called the two back for they are going to seal off the three tail. Hidan wanted him to wait but Kakuzu says that they better get going. And so, the Akatsuki has left though would they make it in time at the hospital?

And Gintama, I have no idea what is happening in the latest four chapters so I can’t summarize detailedly. ^^;; Chapter 134 continues with the unibrow zombies. They managed to escape and head to the elevator. Then, only found that Hasegawa is missing. They stopped at a floor to find Elizabeth, who saved Hasegawa. They got Hasegawa in the elevator as they left Katsura chatting with Elizabeth who already turned into a zombie. Inside the elevator, it turned out that Hasegawa is already a zombie that he tries to attack them. Sacchan then gave Gin a razor blade to cut the unibrow but ended up shaving a a part of Hasegawa’s hair. They kept on doing it that Hasegawa has lines of shaved hair and even Shinpachi wasn’t spared. They managed to get on the roof with Matsudaira having some cannon which contains the cure but the helicopter crashes. Everyone was made into zombies except for Gin who grabs the cannon and fires it into the sky. What came out was only some smoke message. I don’t know if it cure them or what but the last scene was of Hasegawa, smoking and he seems back to normal. There was a narration about useless people can actually be useful as Hasegawa says it hurts that it makes him cry. I guess that ends the tribute to Kochikame.

Chapters 135-137 is something about Hard-boiled, gangsters and foxes ninja. I’m wondering if it is a parody of Hardboiled movie of Chow Yun Fat, some gangster movie or Naruto because of foxes ninja. ^^;; I just got that idea when I realized the sukiyaki chapter of Gintama before was actually a parody of Death note as they try to outwit each other about how to eat the beef in the sukiyaki. Geez, I only realized it when it was pointed out. Anyway, there was this gangster looking guy who likes to drink Camus and is always chasing this fox ninja thief – think St. Tail or Dark Mousey. This guy always go to his small drinking stall and talk about the fox ninja and made friends with Gin and others. The guy then went for the chase as his assistant? told him of a message regarding something that the fox will steal. The old man at the stall then asked Gin and others to help out the guy in his chase as he gives them some money. They then crash in to the house where the fox ninja will steal the item.

They managed to infiltrate the mansion as the people inside are chasing after them as Gin and others are chasing after the fox ninja. While running, they got into some traps like wall with spikes as the floor is moving towards the wall. Stupid Gin tries to destroy the wall but ended up with his foot stuck in the wall. Then, some bombs are going their way. The guy helped them jump up though they have to save him since he just ‘hanged’ himself. ^^; Then, a sleeping/dead old woman is coming down, they tried to ignore her but then, they couldn’t or else, she would hit the spiked wall so they ended up carrying her. Then, an old man who wanted to commit suicide, which they also ended up carrying. Then, there was a woman then a baby...all of them ended up being carried by Gin and others. Just when they can’t run faster and the spiked wall is already behind them, Kagura on bike broke through the wall and they were saved. Fox ninja was about to get the item when everyone came in saying that he is just a petty thief, not a god/fairy and his days of stealing is over.

While the guy and fox ninja were talking about some stuff – about the past I think when some other fox ninjas appear, calling fox ninja a traitor and they try to attack him. Fox ninja threw oil at them and they started to burn. Gin and others try to climb up the stairs but the other fox ninjas started to attack. For some reason, Gin and others started attacking each other. ^^;; Fox ninja tries to help them but ended up being stabbed by this other fox ninja. That other fox ninja says that he was a traitor for he let this kid and money go. The guy then remembered that it was him who was given the money when his parents have died in the fire who even advised him not to use it all up and to be strong. As the other fox ninja was about to give the final blow to fox ninja who was hanging down the stairs into the fire, the guy tied up his arm as Gin hit his mask/head. They tried to pull fox ninja up as ninja fox apologizes for getting him into the mess. The guy said it was okay for he was his savior. They then talk some emotional stuff as the guy asked him to live so that they can drink a cup of camus, the drink he always drink at the small bar stall. Fox ninja then said it isn’t camus but some kind of fire wine. Then, the rope broke. Later on, they can’t find fox ninja’s body in the fire. Gin was accompanying the guy for a drink, both look drunk. They then saw the small bar stall he always go. The guy went in with Gin and asked for a cup of Camus. The guy then said it isn’t Camus but fire wine. The guy then said that he doesn’t want fire wine but Camus, boss. The bartender then said, don’t call me boss, call me big brother which was how the guy calls fox ninja. The guy then smiles as Gin was pleasantly surprised. So, it turned out that Fox ninja was the old bartender who asked Gin and others to help him out earlier. I just remembered that Hardboiled is about this cop saving babies or this particular baby from the burning hospital. I guess the cop in this story would be the old man while the baby was the client of this arc. Summarizing this actually made me understand this arc, so it turned out this arc is nice. ^_^

Fullmetal Alchemist [chapter 64]

At the library, Al/Alfonse got to meet Bradley’s son, Salem/Selim while still researching about Xing’s alchemy. Salem asked why is he researching on alchemy of other countries. Al just say it is for peace of the world for that alchemy can cure illnesses. Salem was really happy to hear that and then Ed/Edward came telling Al that they have to go. Salem was happy to see Edward and called him short alchemist. Ed quickly got angry and warned him not to say it again. Salem muses that it seems that it is true that he changes when Ed is called short. Then, some bodyguards point their guns on Ed. They then realized who the kid is as they sat down and talk with his mother. Ed was really happy to hear that the kid admires him and wanted to be like him. Salem says that he wants to learn alchemy so that he can help his father. When this was mentioned, Ed and Al became silent as Ed just say that is nice to hear. Ed asked if he likes his father. Salem says that he does for Bradley raise and took care of him even though they are not blood related. His mother then said that they couldn’t have a child and Salem was a relative’s son given to them. It was okay if they are not blood related for Salem is such a nice kid. Ed asks if Bradley has been acting strange but his wife said no though he is really busy with work. Salem’s mother said that even though Bradley is knowledgeable about military, he doesn’t know women that she slapped him for being rude when they met and it seems that they were meant for each other. They then bid goodbye as Salem invites them to his house if they are free. Salem was very happy to met them and would want to tell his father about it. As they left, Al wondered if they don’t know that Bradley is a homoculi. Ed says that maybe it is better if they didn’t know.

At North City, Kimbley is busy ordering the people around to find any leads on Scar. He was then informed that Scar is with a black haired guy at a train station so Kimbeley went ahead. Scar and a hooded guy went on the train as the military standby informed everyone about it as they complain why aren’t they given orders to attack and only leave everything to Kimbley. Inside the train, Kimbley from the other train carriage entered and asked if the hooded guy is Marcoh. The hooded guy tried to escape but Kimbley caught him and turned him around. It turned out to be Loki as Kimbley was puzzled as to who he was. Scar then attacks. As they glare at each other, the train passes by a streetlight and they came to realize who each other was. Scar snaps as he goes for an attack as Kimbley is looking at him evily. Meanwhile, Marcoh and Mei has arrived at the place where Scar told them to find his brother’s notes. Marcoh’s face is now scarred but he doesn’t mind as Mei apologizes that she could have made his face better looking. They found the book as Marcoh hopes to find good news about the alchemy that Scar’s brother is researching rather than bad news. Mei wanted to know if there is something about immortality since it combines Xing and Artemis’ alchemy.

Winry then calls the hotel to ask about Ed to only learn that they have already checked out. Winry wanted to give Al some oil for his armor. The receptionist told Winry that Ed is going North. Winry puts down the phone as she called Ed stupid for he didn’t had his automail adjusted as he is going North [cold place] as Garfiel says that he might be ‘dead’ because of it. Up North, Ed sneezes [as they are talking ill of him]. They are riding on a cart as the man told them that they have arrived and they ought to walk on the path or else, they’ll lose their lives. While they were climbing up, there was a storm as they tried to brave it, they met a soldier who attacked them as he called them spies. The soldier, Bakkanya has an automail like a chain saw and fights Ed whose automail isn’t working well as his alchemy isn’t working either. Bakkanya is ready to slice off Ed’s automail when Al uses his head, literally by tossing it to the chain saw to jam it. Then, other soliders came to arrest them. They then saw Olivia, Alex’s sister who doesn’t care about Alex’s introduction letter for she judges people with her own eyes. She then brought them in and warned them not to fool around for in that place, only the strong survives.

And so, Scar and Kimbley had met and of course, they fought. I’m a bit doubtful if that fight would be concluded though. Bradley’s son is cute and quite idealistic. I’m amused that he is a fan of the Elric brothers but then, he said he would tell his father about meeting them so Bradley might send people after them. It would be easy to know where they went since the hotel receptionist had told Winry about it. Nothing much to say in this chapter and well, the ending isn’t much of a cliffhanger.

Blood+ [Chapter 15]

In the damaged ship, Haji is helping Saya go up to where Diva was as Saya thought that it seems the same as before in the zoo and now in this place, where the 110 year nightmare has started and the fighting never ends. Saya was bothered by the blood that she just stepped on as Haji asked how are her wounds. Saya says it hurts a bit but she is okay. She then asks Haji’s wounds and he replied that he is fine though his wounds are still dripping blood. Saya then says that if Haji doesn’t really want to fight. Haji then interrupts saying that what Saya said earlier to him when she tugged his sleeve asking him to fight with her, he is actually very happy to hear it. What happened in Vietnam he won’t complain about it because he wants to escape reality and from then on, his right hand changed and didn’t change back to normal but then he will swear with that right hand to live alongside with her and he won’t let her be alone. Saya thanked him and that it seems that he can decide his own destiny/life. Haji then calls her name when Diva jumps down to them and kicks Haji away. Diva exclaims that he is such an irritating chevalier and happily greets Saya, long time no see. [Somehow I have an urge to laugh there, maybe I’m partly imaging what if Ren did that when Shou and Kyouko were talking. Hehehe ^^;; ]

Upon seeing Diva, Saya quickly took her sword and tried to kill Diva but Diva jumps away. Diva then says that Saya is always like that when they meet, Saya tries to attack her. Saya shouts but of course because I want to kill you. Diva was surprised then she had an idea, she happily exclaims that she got it, she got it, it is a game. Saya was surprised by Diva’s reaction, calling it a game. Diva then laughs and says so let’s happily kill each other, sis Saya. Above the helicopter, Ansem says it isn’t good as he saw Diva together with Saya. Van then asked where he is going. Ansem says that he is going to get Diva back for Nathan alone can’t do much. Van says that he is a chevalier so he doesn’t need to go why not get the corpse corp to do it. Ansem angrily says that those fakes have no effect on Diva. Van then thought fake then he says the source of the corpse corp is something Diva likes and, is it because of that Ansem isn’t happy. Ansem then stabs the machine behind Van. Ansem says that for a human, he talk too much. Van quickly apologizes. Ansem then left as Van was shaking as he cleans his glasses and says that chevalier, these creatures, can be quite troublesome for humans. Solomon, carrying unconscious Riku, came in and asks if Van is really unwillingly to be with them. Van greets him for his good work and if he has brought Riku alive. Solomon then smiles and told him that he brought one of the corpse corp/this creature back. He then says that this is quite a dangerous thing as he threw away its hands. Solomon then pulls up the helmet which revealed to be a clone of Karl as Solomon asks if this is Van’s work. The corpse corp struggles as Solomon says that this kind of thing is Van’s specialty and how did Van did it. I think Van answers that Saya and Diva’s blood are contrast that it causes crystallization of the other so they used Karl as a guinea pig infused with Diva’s blood or something to make the killing machine. There is a scene of Karl being annoyed with all the tests they are performing on him. I think it was Solomon who said in the end that it was all planned/everything is used by Ansem.

Back at the ship, Diva happily tries to hit Saya with a huge pole. She then found a sharp object as she tries to ‘kill’ Saya with it while Saya’s foot was pinned down by some debris. Saya managed to evade as Haji wanted to help her but was stopped by Nathan who threw a knife into Haji’s arm. Nathan told him not to forget that he is there. Saya calls out to Haji as Diva, jealous told Saya not to look at others but only at her as she pulls Saya’s face towards her. Saya then uses her sword to hit Diva but Diva managed to hold it with her hand. Diva comments that this is bad for Saya has become really weak. She then asked if it is because she haven’t drank. Diva lets go off the sword as Saya falls down. Then, Diva grabbed a random human and tossed it/her to Saya. Diva told her to drink it for if her stomach is filled, her strength would be back. Saya was surprised for it was Kurara/Clara, the woman in Vietnam. She closes her eyes and says that it is Clara. Diva gleefully says so it has a name and so food has names – something to that effect. Saya angrily looks at her. Diva then says that if Saya eats/drinks then Saya would be back to her old self like it was before for what Saya did in the zoo was really incredible that it is the first time she saw it. Saya tries to hit Diva but Diva manages to evade easily. Diva then says that she wants to tell Saya of her dream. Saya stops and asks dream. Diva happily smiles and says yes, she wants to make everyone in the world into chiropterans. Saya was shock. Diva continues that this is what she and Ansem has been doing to achieve that dream. She says it would be a hassle to make everyone into chevaliers so making everyone into chiropterans would be much better. She told her not to worry for everything is currently being prepared for the humans to..Diva didn’t finish as Saya slaps her hard.

Saya drops her sword as she shouts at Diva that humans aren’t your toys. Diva was shock as Haji and Nathan were surprised. Diva holding her face that was hit, asks why Saya is angry for didn’t she kill the humans on board the ship like incests. Saya then was stunned as she remembers the killing spree that she did. Diva then says that it is alright for they are being treated as weird creatures. Diva then starts to say/ask Saya to be with her. Saya remembers the others calling her a weird creature but then she remembers Kai as she sees the bandage on her hand. She starts to cry as she remembers everyone else – even when Haji was still human. Saya then says that Diva is mistaken for not all humans are like that for there are people who accept her as she is. Haji then looks a bit sad here. Saya says that she wants to protect the humans in that world so as she grabs her sword back, she told Diva that she will kill Diva and then kill herself afterwards. Diva then falls on her knees as she asks if this is for real. Diva looked downcasted as Saya is going to kill her when Ansem saves Diva. Saya was shock to see Ansem. Nathan quickly goes to them as he told Ansem that he is late.

Ansem says that Diva doesn’t listen to him. Diva still stunned, suddenly grabbed Nathan and started to kill him [as in rip him apart literally – crushed his heart and well, you know] Nathan screams as Diva continues saying that liar, liar, this can’t be true, it is a lie. Diva then stops and says that Ansem told her when they made a world filled with chiropteran, surely, both she and Saya can live happily together. Diva is already crying as Ansem calls her name. Ansem thought that it is too late [hard to explain but something like, uh-oh..] and it is because of this that he doesn’t want Diva to meet with Saya. Saya was surprised by Diva reaction and was about to call Diva as Diva shouts that Saya is being stupid. Just then the ship breaks in half and Saya fell into the water. Saya calls out to Haji as Haji uses his right hand to grab on to Saya as he thought that with his hand, with you, we are going to live. At the background, it seems that Diva is on the ladder of a helicopter. The last scene was the two halves of the ship started sinking.

And so, Diva knows that Ansem is a liar but then, I’m thinking that Ansem might brainwash her again so that she would be cooperative like humans are evil that made Saya think that way or something like that. I wonder if Nathan is dead. The author doesn’t seem to be hassled with developing unimportant characters and just killing them off. ^^; I wonder how would Saya would react later on with Diva upon knowing that Diva just wants to be with her and that’s it. I wonder if like the anime, it would be some years after when Saya and Haji resurface again. I’m quite surprised that the corpse corp base is actually Karl. I feel sorry for the Karl in the manga being made a test subject and all and somehow, I fear what they might do to Riku. I hope Riku doesn’t have the same fate as Karl. Well, maybe Riku can help Diva change her mind about humans though technically, he is already a chevalier. Ya, I want Riku to live this series, too. I haven’t finished watching the anime though maybe one of these days, I had been busy playing Xenosaga 3 lately. ^^;

NANA [chapter 62]

It is another present then past and back to present scenes in Nana. I came to appreciate that in this chapter because there is ‘hope’ amidst all the impending doom I’m feeling from what is happening or rather what would happen in the past. You’ll understand when you read it. Since the author took a long break, there are some nice colored pages in this chapter plus cover. I have a feeling that this series will end really soon. The chapter starts off with a narration of Hachi with a picture of a small xmas tree on the table in room 707. Every year on Christmas, I put a small xmas tree on the table in room 707 hoping that an angel would come there and somehow bring happiness. Hachi is walking towards the old apartment – unexpectedly, turning around, came to understand Nana’s past Hachi, a doubtful question from the heart, the end..? [Okay, I didn’t quite understand that maybe something about she still doesn’t know the future/where Nana is]

At the room, someone is reading a script while smoking. [I thought this is the past that I assumed it was Nana ^^; Boy, was I wrong.] That person then saw Hachi walking up the apartment that he suddenly put out his cigarette/tobacco [Black Stones, most probably] and went out to meet Hachi. Hachi has just came in the apartment and got the mail from the box. There are some junk mail and Christmas promos then she saw a package addressed to her but with no return address nor whom it came from. Up the stairs, she was greeted by Shin. [My jaw just dropped. Geez, Shin became a bsho and judging from the script, he became an actor] Shin explains that he can’t reach her by her mobile phone so he called her house and learned that she is going to the apartment. Hachi apologizes and says that she turns it off because of work and asked if there is something important he want to tell her. Shin says that while filming, he suddenly wanted to see his mom so he went there to meet her. Shin says that the room is still the same. Hachi suddenly became thoughtful. I’m not quite sure what Hachi is saying about Nana not having a key and she is hoping Nana would be there..something like that.

Anyway, she told Shin there are a lot of junk mails but there is one addressed to her with no sender’s name that she is scared of opening it. Shin says not to open it if she doesn’t want to for it might be one of those irritating things [gossips, etc] Hachi then says that she is really curious and it might be from Santa. Shin sweatdrops as Hachi decided to open it anyway. Shin says that it quite impossible and she better not open it. Hachi then got her small sewing kit [looks like one with a pair of scissors and thimble] and says that it might be Nana. Hachi then thought that it cannot be for they no matter what they say or they had stopped to believe that Nana could be still alive in some place. Hachi opened the package and looked at the pictures. She was in shock and suddenly was crying. Shin asked what it was and he knew what it was as he looked at the pictures that has fallen on the table and floor. In the pictures are Nana with long light colored hair singing in a band, having a lotus tattoo on her arm with a big engagement ring. Shin was also in shock. Hachi looks at the picture, thinking every Christmas, she looks up the sky and not believing in Santa Claus or angels but that is like the night when Nana and Ren met. [Obviously, the pictures are from Kurata the reporter for he was the one who took the pictures from chapter 58. He lied to his boss that Nana is alive and he must be doing this to atone for whatever he did in the past. In that chapter, it was mentioned that Nana had died in the sea.]

Back to the past, Hachi went inside the ramen house of the Uehara family. Nana’s mother greeted her in as her husband asked what she wanted to eat. Hachi nervously asked for some vegetable dish but Mr. Uehara says that they don’t have it and only fish and meat type of ramen. He then asks what she will want to drink. Hachi smiles and thought that he was quite cool unlike her own father as she wonders if this is Nana’s father. Hachi then orders a fish ramen and oolong tea. He then told her to watch something on tv while waiting for her meal as he hands him the remote control. Hachi looking at the remote told herself to be calm and think of what she will do. She remembers Kurata saying that she alone, what can she do. She then became angry at Kurata and when she opened the tv, it was a game show with Nana as a participant. Nana just pressed the buzzer and answered, my child. Hachi was surprised as the host shouted at Nana, saying whose child is it, the surname. Mr. Uehara then laughs out loud saying that Nana isn’t taking the game seriously. Hachi was speechless as Mrs. Uehara told Hachi to put her coat and hat to the side so that she won’t have to put it on her lap while eating. Hachi then begins to doubt if what Search/Kurata said is true, for if she is Nana’s mother, she would have been guilty/experience her own hardship. Then, Misato arrives. Misato happily greets everyone a Merry Christmas as Mrs. Uehara calls out her name, telling her that she should come at tha back door. Hachi was surprised when she heard her name. Misato then looks at the tv and was sad that she missed the start of the game show. Mr. Uehara told her to watch it at the second floor. Misato proclaims that she will when it is on commercial break. Hachi then realizes that Misato is actually a fan of Nana since she is cosplaying Nana.

Mr. Uehara says that Misato is covering the tv that their customer can’t watch. Hachi then says that it is no bother, she can still see it. Misato then apologizes. Hachi told her to sit beside her while watching. Misato took her offer but Mrs. Uehara told her to go upstairs as Misato relunctantly agrees. Hachi thought that Misato is cute and it seems that she is pretty much like Nana. She is thinking of a white and black cat [Misato and Nana]. She then wonders if Misato is Nana’s younger sister then she noticed the coaster with the ‘Uehara’ name. She then realized that Misato’s whole name is Misato Uehara. She then remembers that Mai used that as her fake name and she felt that Mai knows more than what she appears to know. Hachi wondered if Mai actually knew Misato as Nana’s sister that she used that name. Hachi then begins to wonder if Mrs. Uehara is indeed Nana’s mother. Hachi then begins to think that there could be no parent who had abandoned one’s own child [Nana] and still feel no guilt or whatsoever about it. Someplace else in a car, Shin is asking a staff if he can go back to his own home after work. The staff was surprised and asked where does he live. Shin says in the cemetery. The staff was shock as it turned out Shin was kidding and told him to drop him off to a certain place for it is Christmas as the staff agreed.

Hachi thought that Misato’s father laughs from his heart when Nana kiddingly answers the questions and their ramen was delicious. This family is really happy and at peace, if they knew the truth, what could happen. That child [Misato] is younger than Shin and she is still under the care of her parents, leaving someone? aside is something she [Hachi] could not do. Mrs. Uehara then thanks her for coming as Hachi as Hachi then says that she doesn’t know the place well and asks if Mrs. Uehara could come out and show her some directions. Hachi then thought that she couldn’t leave just like that. Outside, Mrs. Uehara asked where Hachi plans to go. Hachi then introduced herself and that she is from Tokyo. Mrs. Uehara was surprised. Hachi then says that she is Takumi of Trapnest’s wife. Hachi thought that if she is Nana’s mother she would show a reaction for the newspaper of her and Takumi showed that she is a friend of Nana. Mrs. Uehara did reacted as Hachi realized that she is indeed Nana’s mother. I think what Hachi says next is she wanted Mrs. Uehara to confess everything since the paparazzi already knows and since she is a private citizen that they haven’t been doing much yet or can’t publish using real names and it won’t be long when the paparazzi like bees would come swarming. Hachi says they have to think of something to do for the sake of her family and Nana. Mrs. Uehara then looks sternly at Hachi and told her I’m sorry but it is none of my business. Hachi was shock. Mrs Uehara says that the paparazzi had already came a few times and were asking a few questions but she just answered that she doesn’t know anything. Hachi says that they might publish it later on but Mrs. Uehara insists that if they did then there is nothing can be done about it –something like that. Hachi just remembered Takumi reprimanding her for getting into other people’s business/small little things. Hachi insists that they might spread rumors about it and some people will believe and later on, she might not be able to do something and the family would definitely have troubles later on. Mrs. Uehara told her to please stop meddling. She then says that she is sorry that Hachi came all the way there and she [Mrs. Uehara] feels that she is being troubled so Hachi better not come back. Mrs. Uehara then quickly went back inside. Hachi wonders why did Mrs. Uehara says that she doesn’t want to do anything/it is none of her business. Hachi thought that she wanted to protect Nana but she doesn’t know what to do.

At the train, Hachi is going to call Yasu when someone called out, saying she did great. To Hachi’s shock, it was Kurata. Hachi suddenly got scared as Kurata asked what did Nana’s mother say. Kurata says that they talked for a while outside so she better say what it was. Hachi tries to deny it until Kurata showed her a picture of Shin and Reira together. Hachi tries to grab it but Kurata told her that it is useless for he has copies of it. Hachi screams for him not to publish it. Kurata then asked if it would be troublesome. It was with Ren before but it turned out that it was just nothing, Reira is really a troublesome princess. Kurata then says that she shouldn’t worry for she should just tell him about Misato Uehara and he won’t publish the photos. Hachi was confused and asked what it was about Ren. Kurata was surprised and asked didn’t Takumi tell you, that’s too much/he’s being inconsiderate. Then a scene of pop cracker [ah, those cone shaped things that pop and confetti comes out] as Ren and Reira pops them on Takumi who seemed to have just woke up. They greeted him a Merry Christmas. Takumi said it is still early in the morning. Ren said it is already afternoon. Takumi asked them to let him sleep but Reira goes in saying that the detectives are here. Both Ren and Reira investigate things with magnifying glasses and detective outfits. Takumi said that they seemed to be pretty close, maybe the photos are true. Reira then screams that she has found it. They found some Christmas crackers. Reira asked if it can be eaten since it is shaped like a candy. It turned out to be pop crackers [the candy shaped ones] as Takumi explained that in England those are the ones they have. Reira playfully pops one and some goodies came out – toy crown, butterfly and other stuff. Ren was surprised as Reira happily puts on a crown. Takumi told them to don’t open all of them, can’t they wait for the party tonight. Reira is still laughing as Takumi looks at her and smiles.

Back at the train, Hachi was shock as she says it is a lie for Reira and Ren doesn’t have that kind of relationship. Kurata says that even if she says it isn’t true, Reira has spend the night in Ren’s room. Hachi then grabs Kurata’s collar and shouted that if Takumi and Search [paparazzi] had made a deal, she should be told about it and not hiding things as she call Kurata a liar. Kurata says that it is up to her if she wants to believe. Kurata says that her husband’s band members in a scandal, that would be problematic and what happens to Trapnest, she would also be affected. Hachi then thought that she is really worried about Shin – if that happens what happened between the two of them would seem to be nothing. [I didn’t quite get it but maybe if Ren and Reira were revealed to the public, Shin would think that Reira was just playing with him]. Hachi then cries that she really didn’t hear anything from Mrs. Uehara for she even told her to stop being nosy for she felt she is being harassed/troubled by Hachi. Kurata then says is that so, Hachi is his last trump card. Kurata then tells her not to give him problems when the report/news breaks out, he would then just prepare the photos and lock them up. Kurata then told her not to tell anyone about it. Hachi nods as Kurata thanks her for doing the same work and left. Hachi then cries and apologizes to Nana for she is worried about Shin. She thought that Shin’s eyes had changed and he started to become cold and it makes her worried about him. Nana isn’t the same as Shin for Nana is stronger as she remembers Nana saying that one’s destiny is decided by oneself so there is always a way and there won’t be a problem.

Kurata then calls his boss saying that he failed. The boss said that he told Kurata so for Mrs. Uehara isn’t the type to reveal things when she is being pressured. He told Kurata to call it a day and he would wait for him to come back at the office. Then this glasses guy asked the boss if the girl in the picture with Shin is really not Reira. The boss then says of course for if it is true then it would have been revealed early on as he tells glasses guy that they are busy these days. Glasses guy says that the woman really looks like Reira. The boss says that it doesn’t seem to look like Shin either. They then says that Shin has been going around with different women lately. Glasses guy was a bit envious and why doesn’t he be given even one. The boss comments that Shin has became a bit restless and things might get interesting. Then, Shin went to this woman’s apartment, Kashiwagi who looked a bit like Reira and she welcomes him back. Shin looked a bit sad and calls Nana’s name. [I’m not sure why he would call her name though or it could be Hachi’s narration]. At the car, Nana is complaining about not getting anything from the game show as in win. Mai said that she is right and it seems unfair when Nana answered a lot of questions. Nana whines that is right and there is a lot of work that she wanted to go on stage/acting soon. Mai then happily told Nana that Hachi wanted to see her, too so she has gone to invite Hachi to the place of shooting and she has arranged for everything. Nana smiles at Mai. Back to present, Hachi narrates that she really wanted to see, wanted to see, wanted to see, going back to that road which goes to the apartment, Nana, I wanted to see you. Hachi is now bending on the table, crying over the pictures as Shin took one of the pictures and saw the name of the pub that Nana sings, a place called AGORAD.

And so, it seemed that Hachi chose to protect Shin than Nana because of her assumption that Nana is stronger. I guess she came to regret it and well, her fears for Shin seems true, too. Shin has been going with different women, looking for love after he separated with Reira and interestingly, women or that particular woman looks like Reira. It is a bit sad that it seemed that Hachi was tricked for the photos of Shin and Reira turned out to be fake or it wasn’t really Reira but she didn’t know otherwise. Nana would have been crushed when she learns that people dear to her knew about her mother whereabouts though with Yasu, it is still unconfirmed. From the looks of things, it seems to be the calm before the storm. The scenes of Trapnest is nice, it does seem that the group is really like a ‘family’. About Nana’s mother, I think she is the type who would forget/let go of the past and never looks back. She seems to be pretty tough/insensitive that she doesn’t even want to have anything to do with Nana. I’m beginning to think if it is because Nana’s father is someone she hate or something that she can easily abandon Nana and doesn’t seem to regret it. Somehow I do wonder who would be hurt more Nana upon learning that her mother had moved and had a family or Misato upon learning that her mother had abandoned her sister/idol. Anyway, when things are revealed, everything will be messy. In the present, I wonder if Nana would still be in the pub by the time they go there. It would be a bit silly if Nana would have something like amnesia but then if she doesn’t, she could have recognize Kurata and well, she could run away. I’m hoping for a happy ending since most of this author’s works are more or less a happy ending.

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, D. Gray-man, Naruto and One Piece

Jump is out early this week so here goes. In Bleach [c. 246], the trio goes off to save what they thought was human from some hollows only to realized that the kid is an arrancar hence the human-like features. The kid introduced himself as Nell as he tried to stop them from hurting his brothers. It turned out that they are just playing tag and Nell was shouting help just for the fun of it. The hollows apologized to them for the misunderstanding and that they were playing tag to pass the time. The others then introduced themselves to them as brothers to Nell. Ichigo was surprised that hollows have sibling but it turned out that it is more like ‘adoptive’ siblings for the others thought that Nell is cute so they became Nell’s brothers. Ichigo asked why they didn’t looked like the arrancar that came to their world. Nell then said that those were Menos Grande that became arrancar and hence, they are more powerful and under the Espada group. Nell then says that they are the ones who doesn’t look like arrancar. It was then they realized that Ichigo and others were actually the enemies. Nell then screams for them not to kill them as Ichigo says he isn’t interested in killing them.

Then a huge sand hollow appeared and wanted to kill them as well as the hollows with them since they sided with them. Nell tries to protest but attacks it as Nell and others says that he was unfair. Ichigo says he isn’t for it is a direct attack. The sand hollow was whole again because it is sand and he says that he won’t forgive them and started to swallow them in quicksand. Chad and Ishida won’t help since their powers are useless, too. Ichigo asks Nell what is its weakness but Nell won’t tell since he is the enemy. Ichigo has to enlighten him that he would also be in danger that Nell says that water is its weakness. Ichigo wonders where they will get water when someone froze the hollow. Ichigo quickly looks up and saw Rukia and Renji looking down to them. And yes, the gang is all here. I had already suspected that Rukia would also go since she does owe Inoue before for saving her and she is returning the favor. I do wonder if they got permission or else, Renji might just got himself demoted. Nell is cute and I guess he and others might be their guide in Huenco Mundo much like that medic shinigami. It is a change of pace when the start of the chapter turned out to be comedic. ^^; Weird, didn’t Aizen’s spies detect Rukia and Renji or did they just arrive? Anyway, the more the merrier. Rukia’s powers would be handy in the desert.

More fighting between Kanda and Skin in D. Gray-man [c. 93]. The chapter started with Tiki worried that the Count is angry because of what he did. Rhode says that it is okay for it is their nature as Noahs who wanted to do things dangerously and that they are sacrifices by the Count so the Count just doesn’t want them to be in harm’s way. Tiki then looks at his hand as Rhode then smiles and says that he is...The cover page features Kanda, I think it is Kanda, in casual clothes with hair down that I almost didn’t recognize him ^^; The scene changed back to Kanda who is still fighting with Skin. Kanda managed to get a back hit using his speed as his advantage but his attacks have no effect on Skin and his hand was hit by the electricity. Kanda was surprised that Skin is pretty tough to be still be standing after a direct hit but then, he isn’t fazed about it. There was another earthquake as Kanda thought that place might not hold for long. He decided to use a different technique, one that uses up his life to make his attacks more powerful. His eyes then changed as there are lines surrounding his eyes. Skin then asks why is he trying to end the fight already. Kanda says that he doesn’t have time to play with him and he can do it if it is in the other world. Skin then says if he is going, he is going to bring Kanda with him. Skin then pointed out that Kanda’s hand has a minor burn already from his attacks and that whenever Kanda tries to cut him, he can transfer his power to Kanda and thus injuring Kanda. I think it is because the swords are conductors of electricity. Skin then gloats that humans who attack them will die. Kanda calmly says that who cares, I will live. Kanda attacks as Skin is surprised at Kanda’s speed for he only sees a shadow. Skin then makes more electricity rings and drops them down. Skin says that the more Kanda tries to cut him, the more Kanda has to defend against the electricity and thus, Kanda is close to losing. I think Skin meant that Kanda is becoming more defensive than offensive so Kanda would lose in the end. Kanda is unfazed by what he said. The battle continues. I’m a bit worried for Kanda for no one has ever won against a Noah though I can assume that Skin is inferior to Tiki. Anyway, it is pretty admirable of Kanda to still be focus and all that even if the odds aren’t really good. I was thinking even if he wins, he might be too tired to walk away from there. I still wonder about that little light that Theodore has which went to the ark, too. Maybe it is ticampi. ^^; I don’t recall seeing it for a while. Oh ya, I already saw episode one of the anime. It is pretty good though they did change some things, overall it is the same as the first chapter. They jumped the part where Allen met a boy whose friend became an akuma and meeting with the Count. The second episode would be Allen arriving the Headquarters. That would be fun. ^_^

Things are bad in for the good guys Naruto [c. 326]. Shikamaru and others were shock that Hidan is still alive and complaining how much his wound hurts. Shikamaru has already used up all his strength and retreat is not an option. Kakuzu then used his powers to sew Hidan’s head back on his body. Kakuzu then says that he will take care of the rest and Hidan can take care of Asuma, the one with the bounty. The other two tried to attack but they were easily caught by Kakuzu. It seems that his body can become long using the threads he used..as if his body is detachable but connected with threads. Hidan then attacks Asuma. Asuma managed to duck before Hidan’s weapon hit him. Unfortunately for Asuma, Hidan is actually standing on a symbol when his own weapon hit his body. Hidan then tries to push his weapon in to finish off Asuma has Shikamaru tries to stop him. Okay, if that symbol is real then Asuma won’t last the next chapter. I can’t quite sure about this author for he can kill off characters if he want to and Asuma’s actions lately seems to be one premonition of death after another. Well, until next chapter to know if Asuma lives or not.

One Piece [c. 430] is so sad that I actually cried a bit. It is time to say farewell. At the ship, Luffy and Chopper were asking where Usopp was. Usopp has don his Sogeking mask again as Sanji is telling him to show his face already. Usopp chickens out and just told Luffy and Chopper that Usopp escaped using a lifeboat. Luffy and Chopper were asking why does he have to leave when the ship belongs to him. Zoro wonders when the two would actually realize that Sogeking is Usopp. Nami comes out saying that no one is onboard. They all wondered about the voice as Luffy told them that it is Merry’s voice. Luffy then asks Merry to talk again but the others doesn’t quite believe it. Then, they saw a ship approaching them. It is Iceberg and the other galley-la people. Everyone was cheering that they are all alive as Franky was relived that Iceberg lives as Robin is a bit speechless. Iceberg muses that these people went against the government and actually got Robin back. Then, Merry front deck broke in half. Everyone was surprised as Sanji told them that this is reality for wasn’t Merry really broken when they had her examined. Luffy then calls out to Iceberg to fix Merry for it is their partner/nakama and even save their lives. Iceberg then tells them that the only thing they should do is let it rest for he has already done what he can.

There is a flashback of Iceberg returning to the headquarters after helping prepare Rocketman, he heard a voice in the wreckage. In the wreckage, he found Merry and observed the damage on it. Then, he hears a voice saying that it wants to go out to the sea one more time. Iceberg then tries to fix it as he wonders why is he doing it when the ship is already at its end. The people then calls out to Iceberg to return for the waves are coming. As Iceberg begins to leave, he heard Merry thank him and it went out to the sea. Iceberg was shock and the others were shock when they learned that Iceberg wanted to go out the sea. The others decided to go with him since they don’t want Iceberg to go alone. Iceberg then told Luffy that he just witness a phenomenon that he had never seen from the ships, a ship that would push its limits. Luffy then closes his eyes and says that he understands. Everyone then goes on a smaller ship as Luffy asks if everyone is ready. Carrying a torch, Luffy tells Merry that it is pretty dark and lonely down the sea so they are going to say goodbye right there and there. Luffy lit the ship as he says that it is a good thing that Usopp wasn’t there for he wouldn’t be able to watch it. When Zoro asks Usopp, Sogeking says not really for as a man, he should learn to say goodbye with no tears. Merry then started to burn as Luffy thanked it for all the time they had spend together. Nami then noticed that snow is falling as she reminisce the time they just got Merry and Nami started to cry. They all remembered the times they had on the ship and Chopper started to cry, too.

To their surprise, there was voice, apologizing to them. It was Merry. She says that she wanted to go on more places with them but she couldn’t. Sorry, I wanted to go on more adventures with you but..Luffy then started to cry and shouts that they should be the one apologizing for they haven’t cared for her well – they bumped her all over the place, Zoro and Sanji kept on wrecking things and Usopp would fix her but it still won’t do, they should be the one apologizing. Zoro then noticed that Usopp is already crying. Merry then says back that she has been really lucky. They had took care of her all these time and she is really happy. She thanks them again for she has been really lucky to have them. Franky has also started to cry, too. The last scene was probably Luffy calling out to Merry’s name one last time as Merry burns into nothing. Wow, that is one nice tearful goodbye. ^_^ I guess the next few chapters would be getting a new nakama for a shipwright and a new ship.

Skip Beat! [chapter 94]

This chapter starts with a narration of Ren. He says that when he met Kyouko, she has a special someone but when he met her again, her special someone now has become special in a different way. Shou was the one who made her go into showbiz and it wasn’t long before they meet again even if they are in different parts of the showbiz world as if it is fate. And if it is fate, he will depend it upon himself to go against it. Just as Shou was going to confess that he likes Kyouko, Ren decided to go down the stairs and calls out to Kyouko. Kyouko freaks out as to why Ren was there and she doesn’t want him to see that she is with Shou and he might misunderstand why she is there. Looking at his watch, Ren says if Kyouko has already prepared for they are leaving in 30 minutes. Kyouko freaks out for she has lost track of time while talking with Shou and she haven’t eaten breakfast yet. Ren then says that he will accompany her for breakfast. Ren then lied that he is going to have breakfast as Yashiro kicked him out of the room to get some. Shou was then thinking why would such a actor like him go down the stairs then, he could just take the elevator. Then, he realized that Ren must have known that the two of them are there and has come to interrupt them. To Shou’s surprise, Ren is looking at him and then Ren cheerfully greeted him good morning and apologized for what happened last night. [Geez, it is really obvious how tall Ren is when Shou is shorter than him. ^^; ]

Shou was shock as he thought that Ren is being natural with him that it got to be fake. Ren then says that because of what he did last night, he forgot the most important thing. Shou wonders what it is. Ren says that he now knows what had happened and that it is a good thing that he is there so he is really thankful for his help. Ren then puts his arm on Kyouko and pulls her to him. Shou wonders why Ren is thanking him as if he is saying that Kyouko is his girlfriend [Ren’s] and that Ren is actually trying to show his feelings to Kyouko. Unfortunately to Ren’s dismay, Kyouko was shouting why Ren is apologizing to a guy like Shou. Shou was surprised that Kyouko turned down Ren’s gratitude or trying to claim her. Kyouko is still insisting that Ren might be grateful to Shou for protecting her character but overall, it is still Shou’s fault that everything has happened. Ren then laughs as he agrees with Kyouko that she is right. Shou then realized that Kyouko was clueless of Ren’s feelings and isn’t the same as the way she thinks of him. Shou remembers Kyouko telling Reino that Shou is her prey so she won’t give him to Reino. Shou then started to smile.

Ren then thought to himself that he already knows that Kyouko is too slow to catch on to him so he just reminded Kyouko that they have to hurry for breakfast. Ren thought that it even hurts more when Kyouko insist on saying that he has on obligation at all as if implying that he isn’t special to her to even thank for her even though Kyouko said it without malice. Ren then noticed that Kyouko was looking at Shou. Kyouko told him that she doesn’t owe him anything. Shou smiles and says that he knows as he thought this way is okay. Shou says that Kyouko came not to say thanks but to make sure she doesn’t owe him anything and she doesn’t for he doesn’t thought of it that way. Shou thought that he is already satisfied that Kyouko still thinks of him and his existence to her is still bigger than anyone else’s. Kyouko then walks away with Ren as she gloomily thought that she doesn’t feel good that it is easy like that for she is actually fearing that Shou would make her his slave for a day as exchange and she won’t be able to endure it. Shou then calls out to Kyouko as he thought that he actually owe her, too for snapping him back into action while Reino was attacking him.

In the bus, some ladies wanted to talk with Ren but Ren is gloomily leaning on the window. They thought that he must be tired for he arrived early and would go to him after he get some sleep. After they left, Yashiro asked what happened for he was fine and smiling when he left him. Yashiro then asked if it is because of breakfast, he was too full. Ren begs him not to talk about food. Kyouko then goes to them kneeling near the seat, apologizing. Ren tries to stop her but she says that the reason why Ren is feeling bad was because she forced him to eat breakfast when Ren seems to be just planning to only get something to drink. Yashiro then asked if both of them had breakfast as Kyouko nodded. Yashiro begins to laugh as Ren tries to hide his face saying that is the reason why he can’t tell Yashiro. Itsumi then calls out to Kyouko saying that the bus is moving so she better go back to her seat. Kyouko apologizes to Ren. Ren says it is alright for he would be okay later on, it isn’t like an injury or sickness. Kyouko then says okay and smiles. She went back to her seat as Itsumi asks about Ren. After she left, Ren and Yashiro were smiling then Ren quickly looks out the window. To Ren’s surprise, Yashiro just gave him some antacids for his stomach. Ren thanked him and asked him why he isn’t asking why he ate two breakfasts. Ren was somewhat relieved as Yashiro said that he isn’t asking since Ren doesn’t want him to ask.

Yashiro then says that even if he didn’t ask, he can already know why he did it because there is something that has to be done. Ren then looks at Kyouko in front of them. Yashiro then teased him that he even risked looking like a fool, Ren eating too much that he can’t even move, that is so funny as Yashiro pretends to be other people knowing what happened. Ren begged him to stop it for he already knows he is like a fool for doing it. Yashiro then smiles and asks Ren if the one he sacrificed himself, protected/guarded in the end. Ren then became serious and said that he doesn’t know but then there is something that he is sure about. Yashiro was surprised/worried as Ren remembers Shou calling Kyouko back earlier when they are leaving, Shou says that he won’t let anyone defeat him anymore and the only whom he would allow that would be Kyouko. Ren thought that when Kyouko heard that, it was as if it was a challenged that Kyouko looked fired up about it, to Ren’s surprise. Ren sighs that he might have to do a lot of uncool stuff later on [while trying to get Kyouko as what happened with eating two breakfasts]. Yashiro laments that even if he had to do that, he should be careful for it would be the end of ‘Ren’ the actor’s career. Ren is still sighing about Kyouko’s look as to why does she have to look so determined about it. Ren then remembers that Shou was then looking at him after saying that to Kyouko and smirks at him. Ren’s eyes slit [anger] as he thought that Shou is actually issuing the challenge to him and that is one thing he is sure of.

Quite an interesting chapter. It is amusing that Ren thought that it was fate that brought Kyouko and Shou together again but haven’t he thought that it was also fate that brought him together with Kyouko, too. What are the chances in the world to have met a childhood friend after ten years and for Kyouko to show ‘corn, the sapphire’ to him to give him a hint that she was the Kyouko whom he knew before. If that isn’t fate, I don’t know what it is. Coincidence? ^^; It is interesting that Ren has suddenly became pro-active when he used to be passive since he has some baggage regarding his past. But then, maybe he had to be since Shou has been showing some feelings to Kyouko again and if he didn’t do something, he might lost Kyouko to Shou as if that is possible. But then, he has to be commended for what he did for he was willing to sacrifice his ‘image’ just for Kyouko. Shou has regained his confidence back as he realized that he is made ‘special’ to Kyouko and he is satisfied even if it is just for revenge. If he knew how far Ren and Kyouko’s relationship had been and how each other’s smiles affect each other, maybe he won’t be that confident. This chapter is the start of the two guys clashing for a girl. It somewhat reminds me of a scene in Tokyo Crazy Paradise. The two guys are fighting over a girl while the girl is busy doing dog paddle since she can’t swim while the others were amused that the girl can’t hear them fighting for her. Here, Kyouko is clueless/denial how the two guys are feeling for her. She haven’t realized that being filled with revenge with Shou makes Shou ‘special’ to her in a different way. Well, I guess the future chapters would be more clashes of these two guys and for round one, Shou won.

Ouran High Host Club [Chapter 44]

A car is outside of Misuzu’s pension. Inside, Hikaru is asking if Kaoru really wants to come. Kaoru says of course, it is vexing that only Tamaki and Haruhi are having fun. Suddenly Kaoru becomes genki and says that he is also angry so Hikaru should go and surprise both of them also, it has been a long time since they saw Misuzu. Hikaru asks why Kaoru suddenly became quite cheerful. Hikaru then says that to be honest he doesn’t know if he should be angry that Haruhi went with Tamaki or is it with Tamaki who didn’t let them join in. Hikaru then says that actually he doesn’t want to see either of them. Then, on the window, Tamaki is crying, calling out their name. They were shock as Tamaki opened the door and asking for their help as he was holding on to them. Tamaki asks him to save him from terror no. 3. [I’m being liberal with the terror since I can’t figure out the Chiense word they used]. They realized who terror no. 3 is when Haruhi appeared with broom and pail calling out to Tamaki saying he is really brave in trying to escape cleaning up. There was a note that terror no. 1 is Kyoya and no. 2 is Ritsu/Bossa Nova.

Haruhi then screams at Tamaki over the mess he had made and what has he really been doing for the last 10 days, he didn’t do much. Tamaki tries an excuse that it was because Misuzu says to help. Haruhi said since he promised to do that, then he should finish it through, he should clean up the mess that he made. Haruhi drags Tamaki back to work as Tamaki cries out to the twins. The twins shouted that Tamaki isn’t capable of doing household work and she shouldn’t force him for he already tried his best. Tamaki was clinging on Hikaru as the twins are saying that Tamaki is useless for housework and can only play the piano. Haruhi then looks evily at them and asked if they meant that they would actually do Tamaki’s work. The twins got scared as Misuzu is happy to see both of them and thanks them for helping. The twins were shock as they are the ones who have to clean. To make more things irritating, the other Ouran members are there asking if they are the new help. Kyoya then asks for a cup of red tea while Honey wants more cake. As they clean the floor, the twins wondered what are they doing there.

Haruhi carrying new sheets looks at Tamaki who was playing the piano. Haruhi thought what is it with Tamaki that she felt things that strongly [ I think she means that made her so angry]. As Tamaki pitifully glances at her, she sighs and goes up the stairs. Haruhi thought that she somewhat admire him for a bit since he did tried his best though ended up ruining things [plates broken while cleaning, curtains become dirty and wet, desserts made were dropping all over the place and the fence got destroyed while playing with his dog]. Haruhi says that she doesn’t really care what he does as long as it doesn’t give her more jobs than it is. Then she saw her picture frame on top. I’m not quite sure but maybe Tamaki put it there. Haruhi is already shaking from anger as her feelings of admiration for Tamaki is changing that of Tamaki is annoying and troublesome. Haruhi asked Kyoya and others why they are there. They say they are helping the business by being customers.

During their break, Tamaki back to his confident self, calls for an club meeting about their mission. Hikaru complains that in reality, only he, Kaoru, Haruhi and Mori who fixed the fence, did all the work and should be resting this time. Kaoru says that he haven’t heard about their mission before. Tamaki says that of course it is making Misuzu and Meiko make up even though Meiko should be the one apologizing. Right now, he needs everybody’s help. He had already send some handmade foods by Misuzu to Meiko. Haruhi says that from Meiko’s reaction while eating, she doesn’t really seem to really hate Misuzu. Hikaru then says so it seems that Tamaki’s plan worked though part is thanks to Haruhi’s cooking. Tamaki proudly says it is a success and Meiko’s heart has somewhat melted so they are going for phase two. Tamaki says to make Kyoya the villain and harrass Meiko and Misuzu will save her. The twins agreed on it as Kyoya told them that is a really stupid plan. Tamaki insists on it as Kyoya turns it down. Mori has a mental image of Kyoya being a villain as Honey asks where does he plan to the harrassment. Tamaki then replies that near Haruhi’s, there is a festival and they can do it there. Misuzu told him that when Meiko was just two years old, they went there before. The twins asked who would remember what they did when they were two years old. But then, Tamaki is just going rambling about the things that he wants to do in the festival. Kaoru then asked if Kyoya would still do it and they can help. Kyoya refuses and says that they should use other person and if that person who isn’t exactly an outsider is there. I didn’t quite get this but Haruhi and twins are looking at Mori and Mori told them it isn’t him. I think Kyoya means Ritsu.

At the festival, Haruhi asks why she should come, too and she is all dressed up in a kimono Meiko made. Meiko says that it is part thanks for letting her stay at their house. Meiko then raves that she actually made something cute for a girl to wear and it fits Haruhi perfectly. Haruhi thought that Meiko really does have Misuzu’s blood. The Ouran members had arrived as Honey calls out to Haruhi. Tamaki is blushing to see Haruhi in kimono. They all went to Haruhi glomping her as Meiko shouted that she is also there. Tamaki then apologizes and goes to her and started to rave about being a princess and other embarrassing stuff that Meiko told him to stop as others are looking at them. Haruhi then asks Kyoya where Misuzu was. Kyoya told her that he is already there and would be waiting near the temple gates. Kyoya says that since this is the battleground, he had called on his security group to secure the area and even pose as customers so everything would go smoothly. Haruhi then noticed that there are indeed a lot of his bodyguards in the place. The twins thought that Kyoya is really over the top with things. Kyoya smiles and it seems that the ‘villain’ is now in the premises. Ritsu then looks at Meiko, saying she is the target. Ritsu was there with his gang and thought that Haruhi is cute. His right hand man tells him it is for Haruhi’s friendship so good luck. Ritsu is actually nervous about doing it to some stranger as the others encourage him on.

Honey and others are then pulling Haruhi for them to buy cotton candy and caramel apples. Meiko observes Tamaki as he gave Haruhi a caramel apple. The others then wanted to lead Haruhi elsewhere as Meiko pulls Haruhi aside saying that she will be taking Tamaki away from the time being and Haruhi would handle the others. Meiko then goes to Tamaki and tells him that there are other games on a different area. Haruhi was about to protest but they have left. Haruhi wondered what about the saving situation as Kyoya told her not to worry about it for it is best that the two are alone for it is only Tamaki who can actually comfort Meiko. Back to Tamaki who was busy buying all sorts of things, Meiko is a bit irritated for that is what he is doing when they are together. Meiko then points out to a goldfish catching using paper nets booth. Tamaki then tries to get one for Haruhi. Meiko then asks Tamaki if he likes Haruhi. Tamaki was so shock that he dunked the whole net into the water. Tamaki asks for another net and tells Meiko what is she saying that she made her so surprise. Meiko looks at him intently and Tamaki blushes as he says that he does like her because he is her father. Meiko was shock as Tamaki tries to explain that it isn’t father but like a father. Meiko says that she doesn’t understand for why is he saying that he is father. Tamaki says that Haruhi is just so cute that he even wanted to kiss her and it is because she is like his child. Meiko then thought that Tamaki must be super dense.

Tamaki then says that it is because he is a person who thinks that family love and the love for one’s child is a great kind of love. Tamaki then told her that it has been two years since he saw his mother. He has been living with his mother since young and it is only now when he is living with his father. When they are hurt, they thought of how come things ended that way but then each parents are different. [there is a scene of his mother crying and when he was a kid, he is with his father.] He had seen them in their painful moments and he then knew how much important he was to them. Turning loneliness to anger isn’t a good thing and Meiko should know for she also loves Misuzu one way or another, doesn’t she. Meiko looks thoughtful and then says that he knows this is because he has been sending the homemade foods to her. Tamaki then ruined another paper net from shock. Tamaki asked how could she have known. Meiko says that she found it a bit weird then angrily shaking the water with the fish in it saying that it seems that Haruhi is an accomplice and everyone was doing things secretly. Tamaki says that it was he who brought it to Haruhi. Tamaki then waves his hand to Ritsu, saying to start the harassement operation. Ritsu prepares himself as a Kyoya bodyguard was beside them, phoning Kyoya that the operation has just started. The others pep up Misuzu.

Tamaki cries for he said something wrong and ruined Meiko’s mood. Ritsu is behind them then tells them, using his villain face, that kids shouldn’t be playing with fishes if they are just messing things up. Meiko looks at them and she looks more like the gangster than Ritsu that he got scared. Meiko says so what, she isn’t feeling good right now and she used up money so why can’t she play with the fishes. She then asks what’s up with his hair. Ritsu backs out as he says it’s nothing. Meiko is already grabbing Ritsu’s collar when Misuzu comes in and shouts, Stupid, what are you doing with my daughter. Misuzu then asks what a isn’t man or woman doing there. They were busted for it was Meiko who was harassing Ritsu. Misuzu says that he heard that someone is ganging on her. Meiko says that she can protect herself and why is he there not in the pension and why is he wearing a guy’s kimono. Misuzu says that he just want to be a man to be a father isn’t bad. Meiko shouted what is he saying for isn’t this why they separated and got a divorce, haven’t he thought how lonely she would be. Misuzu tries to apologize as Meiko continues that being gay is the path he chosen that is why he left her and her mother so they can hate him until they are satisfied. It is okay for him to be gay and whatever he becomes for they would still recognize him. Misuzu was happy for overall, Misuzu had accepted him for what he has become and got angry when he reverted trying to be a man after all that had happened.

Meiko then grabs Haruhi saying that they are going home. She tells Haruhi that she is going to lecture her on what’s helping and what’s being an accomplice. Haruhi was surprised for Meiko knew. Misuzu calls out to Meiko as Meiko remembers something and told Misuzu that she wants another one of those cherry jam she made for she can never forget its taste, it is her favorite. Then, there was a blurb, Haruhi saying that Tamaki told her later on that with Meiko, you just need time to get through to her. Haruhi then tries to apologize to Meiko saying that regarding Tamaki, she isn’t doing anything suspicious. Meiko shooks it off saying she is going to look into the stupid things that they had been doing. She then says that she will forgive Haruhi if she made her an omrice and she better make sure that it doesn’t break like before. Haruhi looks at her in surprise happy? and I can’t quite describe it but I guess Meiko approves of her. The last scene was Ritsu was depress that he failed in doing his job and he ended up looking embarrassing. The others tried to encourage him that he did okay and he really worked hard on it.

Well, the would be dramatic confrontation of the twins, especially Hikaru to the place turned out to a comedy as they ended up being servants and the one they wanted to hate, they ended up saving. How nice of the twins. I guess they forgive and forget later on after they did had fun at the festival. I’m not quite sure about the ending but if Haruhi narrates about Tamaki later on said regarding the whole arc, I’m presuming that this is the end of this arc for Meiko had more or less accepted Misuzu and they would understand each other later on if Misuzu would be giving her jams. Also, summer is over. It does seem that Ritsu would be more or less a permanent character in the series and well, he does appear more useful plotwise than say Renge. I’m not complaining though, I like Ritsu and I’m happy that he made it in the anime even if I haven’t watch that episode yet. ^^;

Weekly Jump Update: Bleach, D. Gray-man, Naruto and One Piece

In Bleach [c. 245], everyone was served tea as Aizen starts to discuss about the intruders. He told them about the three as they saw images of Ichigo, Ishida and Sado. I’m surprised Aizen knew their complete names. Grimmjow was surprised to see that Ichigo is among the intruders. Everyone belittle them for they are just youngsters. Aizen informed them that four of them went to Soul Society and even fought with division 13. When they learned that the forth one was Inoue, they realized that they are planning on rescuing her. Grimmjow wanted to fight them immediately until Aizen forced him to stay where he was literally using his power. Aizen told them to just return to their quarters as if nothing happened for they aren’t really to be bothered to be pursued so they would just wait for them to come since if they are with him, the enemies doesn’t stand a chance. Back at the desert, the threesome are resting as they are tired of running. They began to discuss a bit about the kind of world Huenco Mundo is with Ishida doing most of the explanations. To their surprise, they saw a human being looks like a kid, chased by hollows. They decided to help him out. Well, I guess that person might tell them more about that world and how to get in, depending on how he/she is.

There is an ad in D. Gray-man [c. 92] that the anime will start today at 6pm. Hope it is good and well, someone subs it. ^_^ Kanda pulls out his katana and told the others to go for he is fighting Skin. The place is going shaking again so Allen told the others that he is staying with Kanda and told the others to go. Kanda glares at them and told them that he alone is fine. Kanda started to attack them that forces everyone to do as he says. Everyone was screaming that Kanda is crazy and stupid so they don’t care about him anymore. Rinali was a bit worried and calls out for Kanda to surely come back after the fight. Kanda doesn’t answer. Rinali got angry that she shouted for him to answer back. Kanda then says he will and told her to go already. Skin then prepares to attack as his skin’s texture changes and Kanda prepares his stance. Skin fires electricity from his mouth as Kanda uses his katana and scaffold to block it. Isn’t katana a conductor? The others then saw a bit of the fight as Allen hopes that Kanda returns or else. Crowley then found another door so everyone went in. Back to Kanda, the two back off as Kanda felt a bit of electricity on his hand. Kanda told Skin that he noticed them following them before and thought he was useless since he isn’t fighting with the akuma. Skin says that it was because he can’t decided which one of them to fight. Kanda asks if he has decided. Skin replies since he was the one whom he is fighting, he wil be the first. The two then introduced each other’s name. Skin morphs and makes electric rings on top of his head. He asks Kanda if he likes sweets. Electricity started falling all over the place as Kanda smiles and says he hates them. And so, it is fighting time again in D. Gray-man.

While in Naruto [c. 325], Shikamaru did uncover Hidan’s curse technique as to how he does it. He has to stay in the circle he made using his blood and have a blood of the enemy inside his body to make everything that happens to him also happen to the enemy. Shikamaru managed to give others a chance to slice his head off as he force Hidan out of the symbol and tie him down. They thought they have succeeded until they realized that Hidan is still alive as Kakuzu grabs his head. Hidan must be some sort of immortal and I was indeed a bit doubtful that Hidan was dead when Kakuzu mentioned earlier that Hidan can’t be killed and it isn’t just because of the curse. The next blurb seems to imply that they are going to fight some more.

The title for One Piece [c. 429] is such a teaser. For a while I was actually scared for them, it is ‘Total Defeat’. I forgot that it could actually also mean for the other group’s. ^^; The marines then realized that the Strawhats ship is below but they hesitate to fire since Robin is there. They were all surprised as to why Merry was there but there is no time to wonder about it for now. Luffy was going to thank Robin for saving him when Robin covered his mouth and told everyone thanks. Zoro then says to say such things when they have escaped. Sanji and Chopper attacks him for saying that. Nami then orders everyone to prepare sailing. Spandam turned out to be still conscious and announces that they can bomb the ship for it is okay since Aokiji allowed it. It was actually a lie but Spandam is desperate and wanted all of them to die. As they were firing, they actually fired each other and then they currents are against them as the justice gate is beginning to close. The marines were all confused as Sanji smiles at his handiwork. He told the others that you need brains some times as others wonder if he is a genius. Nami told them to be quiet as she figures out a way out from the currents that is also affecting their ship. They were fired again and so Sanji and Zoro used Luffy’s body to toss the bombs back. Usopp calls them monsters for using Luffy when Luffy is almost half dead.

Nami finally finds a way and told them to go in a certain direction. Spandam is still sprouting some insults and shock that they defeated everyone just for Robin that Robin used her hands to german surplex him. Franky then used his power to push them away and Usopp used his smoke screen to hide them. The marines kept on firing but they are too far away. Franky family and others were onboard the train as they rejoice for Strawhats got away and they are all going back. The marines then noticed that Aokiji is there. They wanted to chase the Strawhats but Aokiji stopped them for seeing what happened to their base, they are the ones who have lost. Luffy climbs up on top of Merry to lay on his ‘seat’ as he hugs and thanks it. Franky was still shocked at what they have just done, burning the flag and everything. Luffy said that they only want to get back their nakama who was taken from them and they have won. Everyone then celebrates. And I guess they are going back to Water 7 and maybe there they will know who send Merry there and well, who is their new nakama, shipwright.

Skip Beat! [chapter 93]

[I’m back again. I had been better the last few days now though still recuperating since I'm not yet 100% well. My body is still adjusting after bombardment of medicines. I would have gone online earlier but then, on Thursday, a strong typhoon hit us and we had a blackout for 4 days and 3 nights. It was only back on last night at around 11pm.]

Continuing from last chapter, Ren gave Kyouko his ‘heavenly’ smile as he told her that he can join her. Kyouko’s demons were fried as they tried to go to the stream for some water. Kyouko was surprised by the smile and wonders if Ren isn’t angry anymore but then, she haven’t apologized not telling him everything earlier. Ren then asks what she was doing there so early in the morning while thinking that he is going to casually ask and pretend he doesn’t know her love for fairies. Kyouko was indeed thinking of the fairies and Corn and sweetly smiles that she just went to energize herself. Ren then looks dark then sighs away. This freaked Kyouko out as to why he is doing that. Ren then says that they ought to return to the hotel. As they walk on, Kyouko following Ren, Ren was thinking that he should avoid being with her alone else, he might not control himself especially with her sweetly smile which is his weakness. He thought that Kyouko shouldn’t make such a face with other guys or else, there would be more stalkers.

Ren then asks her why she is walking all alone there when there is a stalker lurking around. Kyouko thought that this is why Ren went only grumpy all of a sudden, replies that she thought it would be okay for that guy doesn’t seem to be the healthly type to wake up so early in the morning for he is his image as a visual rocker. Ren then realized that the stalker was from the entertainment business. So, Kyouko explains that because of two guys [Shou and Reino], she got into their mess so when she called him, nothing yet has happened but she felt scared at that time. Ren wonders who Vie Ghoul are for he haven’t heard of them. Kyouko continues that she somewhat had a hard time telling him all of this especially being saved by the guy she swore revenge. She is also worrying that when he know he might not talk to her again. Ren was shocked at how Kyouko thought of him. Ren said that things can’t be helped for she couldn’t fight off the guy herself so he really isn’t angry that Shou saved her. He asked if she asked for Shou’s help. Kyouko quickly answered that she didn’t. Ren smiles as he thought that he wouldn’t be able to forgive if she asked for Shou’s help. They then went back to the hotel.

At the hotel, Kyouko was thinking of how Shou saved her from Reino seduction. Itsumi calls out to her that it is time for breakfast. Kyouko then says out loud that she still doesn’t get why Ren was angry the other night. Itsumi wonders if it is because they are close and Kyouko is hiding things from him. Kyouko was shock for Itsumi thought they are close. Itsumi then adds that it seems Ren has really became his character, Katsuki. Kyouko was surprised for she thought Itsumi realized Ren is really a demon king but it seems she is like Kanae – mind is always on acting. Kyouko then decided to go by Itsumi’s reason for it seems that Ren isn’t exactly angry because of her hiding things from him and she is afraid of awakening his demon king. She then notices Shou with his entourage and quickly told Itsumi that she has to go somewhere first and that she go ahead for breakfast. At Ren’s hotel room, Ren is having breakfast with Yashiro. Yashiro was surprised that Ren was not angry anymore. Ren said that he was for he did told Yashiro to check things for him completely but he didn’t told him everything. Yashiro quickly apologizes for it since he can’t quite tell him on the phone and it got dragged on when he can’t tell it to Ren face to face either. Ren forgives him as Yashiro was happy about it and then orders Ren to eat more. Ren is actually bothered by what Yashiro said earlier regarding a coincidencial meeting of Shou and Kyouko could mean they have a strong connection to each other. Yashiro then leaves Ren’s room [he must be there just to make sure Ren eats] as he told Ren he will come back after 45 minutes when they are going on location.

Feeling full, Ren decided to exercise it off a bit by climbing up and down the stairs. As he was going down, he hears some people talking and was about to leave until he hears Kyouko’s voice. Below the stairs, Kyouko was talking to Shou. She tells Shou that she forgot to tell him something and it is to thank him. Since everything is Shou’s fault, she is just going to wave him her thanks. Shou got angry saying that isn’t a thank you and that she should say it. Kyouko refuses for she didn’t exactly asked for his help. As the two argue, Ren found himself eavesdropping on them again like before. Kyouko then says that she doesn’t believe that Shou actually talked some sense into Reino. Shou said that he did what only men understands without using the mouth. Kyouko was shocked that Shou beat Reino up. Shou said that he did though he didn’t beat his arms and face. Kyouko was angry at Shou for doing such a thing for things might get worse. Shou said that Reino won’t blab for he is still a man and it would be quite embarrassing to be beat up by someone whom he is trying to destroy. Ren then thought that what is happening is indeed like before and it seems that no one can interfere with them even him. Kyouko then asks why Shou did it for it won’t benefit him, it would actually harm him. Shou said that at time, he wasn’t thinking of himself but that Kyouko is in danger. Then, Shou says, I think of you as...[it is more like a confession of I like you] Then, Ren was surprised as to what Shou is trying to say.

The ending was quite a surprise. Shou was actually confessing. Did he realized how important Kyouko to him because of the incident? He actually beat up Reino for Kyouko. I do wonder if Reino would indeed keep quiet from the past chapter of him, it seems that he would for he haven’t told the other band members yet what happened. It is pretty amusing how much Ren and Kyouko are the same – demons and smiles that ‘weaken’ each other. Hehehe It is amusing that Ren is eavesdropping again though this time it is a coincidence, a lucky one I might say. Oh ya, this chapter has a nice colorspread of Ren and Kyouko together.

Well, it is one of those times for me again. I had a bit of stomach infection lately. I must have eaten something bad. Unfortunately, it just got worse last night. I was okay already yesterday that I even got to update this blog. Anyway, I’ll be going to Nii today for a check up. The thing is there is a high percentage I might get confined so I might as well leave a note about it. So, ja for now!

Weekly Jump Update: Naruto, Bleach, One Piece and D. Gray-man

In Naruto c. 324], everyone then realized Hidan’s power. The curse is whenever Hidan is hurt, his ‘victim’ will be the one who will feel the pain. So when Asuma threw that ‘burning sand’, he was the one hurt and when Hidan stabbed himself on the leg, Asuma was the one wounded. They realized that they are in deep trouble for they can’t hurt Hidan but then, if they don’t do something Asuma might not survive. Shikamaru managed to use his shadow technique to stop Hidan from stabbing himself. Kakuzu wanted to help so that it would be finished already but Hidan won’t let him. As Shikamaru was holding him, he tried to figure out Hidan’s weakness based on his behavior and what he said before. The last scene, he managed to think out of a strategy. I wonder what it will be. I’m thinking getting Hidan irritated by using his religion fanaticism so that he would be careless.

While in Bleach [c. 244], the two arrancars are finally defeated by Ishida and Sado. Ishida gloats that he [the arrancar he defeated] should tell Aizen that it is the Quincey whom he should be afraid of, not shinigami. The place is then breaking up as Ichigo shouts at them for roughening the place up when they warned him that they are in a basement. The arrancar then told them that a place is destroyed when the arrancar/hollow guarding the place is killed. As they run off, Ishida looked up as the arrancar told him that Aizen isn’t afraid of anything that is why they all look up to him for they are born out of fear. They managed to get out as they spit out sand. They realized that Huenco Mundo is a desert. They then saw a huge building structure and thought that Inoue could be in there so they hurriedly went there before another enemy appears. Inside, the ten espada has gathered in a meeting hall as Aizen with his two cohorts came in. To even show what the arrancar said was true, Aizen announced that they have invaders and that they would to have a cup of tea first. ^^; This chapter introduced the ten espada. It seemed that Grimmjow is indeed back to number 6. I wonder what they have in mind for Ichigo and others. It also does seem to show that Aizen is a charimastic person to make hollows to respect him even if he is a shinigami.

Those who were thought to be dead/destroyed are actually alive in One Piece [c. 428]. Everyone was shock, well the marines were, that Lucci was defeated. Then, they heard from the speakers that the shipwrights, Franky family and others were alive. They were saved by Paulie’s rope trick – web to catch them all. They told Franky not to worry about them and that they will now escape from the island. Franky was so happy about it that he regained strength in fighting off the marines. The marines then noticed that Luffy isn’t moving and that they are planning to use the escape ship. Usopp calls out to Luffy to go to them already as Nami told them to go to the ship already and they would just pick Luffy up. The ship was then destroyed by the marines. Everyone who was in the ship were rescued by Sanji. He told them that he was doing something and haven’t thought that the marines would fire at them since Robin was with them. The marines then burned down the bridges so they are trapped. The marines then are preparing to finish off Luffy. Robin said that she can’t bring Luffy to them since he is too far away. Just then, Usopp and others [Strawhats] heard a voice telling them to look down. Usopp then shouted for them to jump into the sea for they have an ally. Usopp asked Robin to use her power to throw off Luffy into the sea. Everyone jumps as the marines thought they have gone crazy and fire away. Below, Going Merry is waiting to catch them as it says that she came to pick them up. That was a surprise. I wonder who fixed Going Merry, wasn’t she suppose to be un-seaworthy already. Could it be that when Kaku threw her out, she managed to sail all the way there to save them? Well, it is quite obvious that One Piece author doesn’t like to kill off his characters. The new cover sidestory is about Eneru..going to the moon, what happened to him.

It turned out that it was Tiki who gave the key to Allen and the others in D. Gray-man [c. 91]. The chapter started with a scene on Miranda breathing hard as she seems to be still using her powers on the exorcists who were hurt. She regrets on using only ‘curing past injures’ and not ‘future injures’. Inside the ark, Tiki in his human form was giving Allen the key. Allen, Rabi and Crowley were shocked for he was the one in the train. Tiki then headbutts Allen, asking why he is still alive that the others are teasing him about it. It was when Kanda told them that Tiki has a ‘killer chi’ that Tiki showed his real self to them. He says that he wanted things to be fair so he gives them a key that Rhode made. It can open three doors and they can escape. Relo was shocked at what Tiki is doing. Tiki left, leaving the decision to them. Allen says it isn’t fair for they are immortal. Tiki says that they seem to be because they are all weak. They decided to use the key. Allen has to open it because he lost in the jakenpon game [scissors-rock-paper]. They open a door near them, it then had colorful drawings. Everyone goes for teamwork except Kanda. When they walk into the door, Kanda quickly notices that Skin is there waiting for them. Kanda told them to go on ahead for he will fight Skin. The others protest but Kanda was quite stubborn saying that he isn’t doing it for them but it is for his mission since Skin tries to kill his general. I’m really sad to see Rinali becoming a damsel in distress. Everyone is just busy protecting her and in this chapter, it is Allen. I guess it is just because she exhausted her powers from the fight before. Well, it seems that Kanda would be separated from them again, being anti-social and all. It is pretty obvious though that Kanda is really well trained that he can easily feel the presence of enemies. I do wonder if they would actually let him fight alone as they go on ahead. It is becoming a typical fighting plot – I stay behind to fight, you all go on ahead for the goal usually the main boss. There are some anime scene backgrounds in the ad, it looks gothicly nice. Hope it is good. ^_^
