About this blog:
I write about the manga that I read , the anime/tv shows that I watched and somtimes, the PS2 games that I played. I tend to summarize them so beware, this blog is filled with spoilers and they are not 100% perfect. Feel free to point out my mistakes. Occasionally, I would blog about myself and other misc. things. ^_^

    I just finished up baking some brownies and I have a feeling that they are a failure. The pan in the recipe seemed to be quite big for the mixture for it was like only 1/4 inch thick. ^^; Oh well. I will make the fudge icing if it is okay after baking.

    The last episode of Full Metal Panic! TSR was really good. I was in a high after watching it that I even dreamt about it. Sousuke was in angst after what the other guy told him about Chidori and to his surprise, Chidori came and kicked him. Lol. She pretty much punched and kicked him to his senses and he finally snapped out of it. Elsewhere, the dark-skinned guy was about to be finished by the Chinese girl when loony guy, I think he is Gates, showed to her, her dead twin sister. Gates then finished off the other Chinese girl. He was about to get at the dark-skinned guy when Sousuke came. He finally managed to utilize his mecha to make some cool moves and finish off Gates. It was really cool. ^_^

    Next is pretty much the epilogue. They finished reporting to some military men. Tessa was very happy that Sousuke called her by her name – minus the formalities. Sousuke went back to school and together with Chidori again. Wraith is still watching them while Tessa’s brother went elsewhere. Maybe later on, they would do the rest of the FMP! novels. Anyway, overall, it is a good series with some real nice moments and cool action. I pretty much enjoyed it even though I haven’t watched the first series. ^_^

    I also watched 5 episodes of Tide Line Blue. It is pretty much about submarines and world politics. The lead is a boy who has a crush on his pregnant girl who gave birth with the help of his twin whom he thought was dead. They then hitch with the twin’s submarine whose captain is planning on making some sort of monarchy while the twin got captured. Anyway, the animation is really nice though I don’t really care for the characters except for the twin whom I found interesting. Unfortunately, he isn’t the lead. I also found the ostrich there to be quite useless and shouldn’t be in this series. If it is for comedic purposes, I’m not laughing at its antics. ^^;

    I then found that I have episode 13 of Sousei no Aquarion. *sighs of relief* I thought I would regret watching episode 12 because it was left hanging. It is more on the past lives of the two leads and in episode 13 is the conclusion. Poor Apollo, his friend got ripped but then, there are some really nice climax scenes here. I really like the ost of this series.

    In D. Gray-man [chp. 66], Rinali did some nifty kicking moves on the level 3 akuma that send it plummeting to the sea. Rabi’s worries are for nothing. Hehehe Rinali told him that she is alright now for this is what she has decided to do as she told him to head back to the ship and that she’ll catch up. Bookman also told Rabi to head back for the ship for aside from that akuma, there are more above the sky. The ship was then attacked from above. Miranda’s disk was hurt which causes pain to Miranda and some rays are going to hit Miranda. The crew then used their bodies to shield her. They told her that they were already hit many times and if she lifted her ‘spell’, they would be dead so they might as well be useful by being her shield. Crowley, Rabi and Bookman protects Miranda’s disk while the mistress, with the help of her guard, took hold of the wheel for them to escape and head to Japan. The last scene was Rinali facing off the level 3 akuma who got up from the sea. Well, Rinali shows what she is made of in this chapter. I guess she snapped out of worrying about Allen. Hopefully, she will manage to catch up to the others and well, the ship would be safe for her to return.

    I spend the whole Saturday after watching Sousei no Aquarion from episode 2 to 10. It can be pretty silly at times but then, I’m interested in the three leads that I’m intent on watching their interaction. I don’t like the side characters though especially miss heartbeat increases when panics thus causing things to explode. She and miss bad luck episode does have an interesting lesson on using one’s liability into something good. The fansub is only up to 13 or 14. I’m continuing this since I like the songs here, the three leads and well, I read that the ending ends with a bang which I want to see. ^^;

    Yesterday, we went to a trip to find this hot spring resort that my aunt goes to. The kids are pretty much excited and kept on calling for us to get ready. We had a bit of hard time finding it since the directions that the resort gave was all wrong. Then, when we found it, it doesn’t look good for the place is pretty old. The tiles on the tub looked really dirty and such. Here, they would fill the tub with ‘hot mineral water’ and we get to dip in it for an hour. Since we were all there, we might as well. I didn’t last long for it is indeed a bit hot and the weather is also hot. ^^; Well, after that, we went to a mall to eat an early dinner.

    We walked around through this bookstore. I just browsed through a manga encyclopedia type, which seem to focus more on the different art types of different mangaka than hit makers. It also have English translated manga but then, I just browsed over the covers for the price makes me not want to buy any and just stick to the Chinese ones. Later, we played some arcade games. I’m the loser against my bro at air hockey though a tie with my nephew. Geez, there are times that it is my fault for I had accidentally slide the disc into my side. ^^;; My bro got me to drive in arcade but then, I lost terribly because I kept on bumping on the walls. Bro and I then played a gun firing at enemies type of arcade game. I managed to survive longer than bro twice. We didn’t finish it since we have to leave for the kids still have school.

    In Bleach [chp. 199], Rukia managed to pull off an acting to make Isshin and Yuzu agree to make her stay at their house though Karin doesn’t buy it. Meanwhile, Rangiku crashes in at Inoue’s house while Hitsugaya stayed at her roof. Rangiku helped Inoue release some of her feelings regarding her self-hatred for being useless and jealousy over Rukia. Elsewhere, Grimmjow called up some of his friends to cause havoc in the area while most of the inhabitants are unaware. Next chapter would pretty much fighting and destruction.

    While in One Piece [chp. 385], Spandam got the shock of his life when he learned how closed the Straw hats are in the headquarters just when he was suppose to be gloating to Robin that the marines had finished her friends off. Franky is sure enjoying this. In the last gate before the building where Robin and Franky are, Sanji made short work of the executioner. Zoro has already sliced a part of the door. The Franky family decided to split up to the other two doors to pull down the switch to open the road to the last building. There is nothing on Luffy though on this chapter. I wonder if Spandam would call on CP9 to handle them next chapter.

    Finally, I managed to sleep deeply yesterday thanks to cold medicine. Hehehe The downside is I have sleepy all day long. ^^;; It is pretty hot today. It is raining at the same time, it is sunny. They say that ghosts are getting married when that happens or if you get wet, you will get sick if that happens. I don’t know where the former saying came from though.

    Cain has finally made his presence felt in Trinity Blood [ep. 22]. The pope was saved by the crusade-looking duo. They were about to finish off the lady-medusa rebel but the pope asked them to spare her. They escorted him out as ‘medusa’ seemed regretful for what she did. She met up with her bro and got a slap from him then they learned that they are invaded by hooded googles goons. Medusa pays them back by saving them when the goons attacked them.

    Above the building, a group of horsemen are entering and Cain went along with them and created havoc by wiping out those who intrude him. It seem that he can regenerate or ‘cure’ himself from injuries. I don’t know if it is animation problem but at times, he looked dorky like his brother. ^^;; Anyway, Esther decided to follow him as he went into the basement. In some control room, Dietrich put the cube on the computer and fought with Abel. Cain came and killed off Dietrich who was puzzled why Cain did it. I don’t like it when villain boss kills off a perfectly good ally for it does seem to not achieve anything or rather, isn’t the many allies the better?

    Well, Abel didn’t like that so he tried to attacked Cain who just stood his ground. Abel then saw Esther behind Cain. I think Abel doesn’t want her to see him in this form or he snapped out of his rage that he stopped. Of course, Cain took this opportunity to strike Abel down though I doubt he killed him..maybe just knock him out as Esther screams. That’s the end of this arc. The next one is Crown of thorns. Well, it would be nice if I know what Cain’s group’s objective is. ^^;; Interestingly enough, Cain managed to wipe out the enemies and he haven’t transformed yet like his siblings. I guess that suggest how powerful he is.

    In Fullmetal Panic! TSR [ep. 12], Sousuke follows the lead on the ad and to his surprise, he saw his old enemy. I think this is the guy whom I read that kept on ‘resurrecting’. He can’t move now, but still can pretty much irritate Sousuke. He gave some info on Sousuke then pretty much made Sousuke so angry that Sousuke used up the bullets in his gun on him. Then, there is bomb on the bed and kaboom, Sousuke quickly jumped out of the window. Meanwhile, Mithril prepares to action as the suit piloted by the Chinese girl creates havoc. Since this is the second to the last episode of this series, the next episode would pretty much dealing with the other suits.

    I have watched Kyou Kara Maou around episode 30+. It is quite good even though I didn’t get to watch the start but I got the gist of it. Right now, they are trying to get 4 boxes, which supposedly have a forbidden evil in it. Unfortunately, I either missed some episodes or the file was corrupted that they are mostly the ‘ending’ to a certain arc. ^^; Like, they are about to be guinea pigs on the release of the first box and I’m missing the episode on how they got it. Another is how they got out of that Great Sha-something country. ^^;;

    Anyway, this series seemed to be a mix of Fushigi Yuugi and Juuni Kokki. Like Fushigi Yuugi, the lead is a bit useless and only redeeming factor is being kind hearted. There is also a male harem. Like Juuni Kokki, the lead becomes king and starts a nation from scratch, I think. The thing is the lead is a boy instead of a girl. The opening song really needs getting used to while the closing song, I’m just amused at the chibi they put around the box which flashing what happened in that episode.

    I watched a couple of episodes of Snow Queen. Actually, this isn’t one of my favorite fairy tales/children story but since the review said that the animation was good I checked it out. The animation is indeed great and then, it hit me. The art and presentation is pretty much the same as Dr. Blackjack episodes I saw before in the Taiwanese channel. The drawing of one of the kid was the give away for she reminded me of the kid who was always with Blackjack. The first two episodes is pretty much an introduction of the lives of the two kids. It is in episode 3 where the glass got into Kay’s eye and I guess the rest of the series would be on Greta’s journey to get him back from the Snow Queen.

    I was ranting of slow release of Skip beat! and to my surprise, it is out early this time and not only that, it was released by Billwang. ^^; In chapter 76, they managed to finish off the test and Ren was able to pass it. Rory hinted that Ren was able to do it because he has fallen for a girl. Ren then apologized to Itsumi for being stubborn on doing ad lib that she has hurt her acting pride. Then, Kyouko realized something. Ren noticed that Kyouko has become silent and asked her what’s wrong. When she snapped out of it, she quickly stepped back from him.

    Steps back...

    This somewhat irritated Ren and asked her what it is about. She tried to pass it as nothing but before Ren could press the issue futher, the director told Ren that he was called by Rory. Everyone then gets ready for lunch then they can continue shooting for the show. Kyouko was a bit jealous that Ren has trusted Itsumi that she can act the way he wants her to but this also leads her to fear him for his ability to make his co-star fall for him. She remembers the ‘acting game’ they played and she remembers that she has promised herself not to fall for anyone again. At some room, Rory asked Ren to drink but Ren declined for he is still working. Rory teased Ren for being quite different from before as Ren told him to please not bring up the past. Oh, wonder what would happen in the next chapter. I guess this might change on how Kyouko would act towards Ren and their scenes together would be fun to watch.

    Things are happening in Fullmetal Alchemist [chp. 52]. Bradley has disbanded Roy’s group by sending them to different headquarters and Hawkeye to be his personal assistant. I wonder what Bradley plans to do to Roy but then, he was said to be their human sacrifice. Inside Gluttony’s stomach, Ling and Ed are fighting Envy. Ed somewhat lost his will to fight with all the humans [attached to Envy’s body] pleading and shouting that it made Ed feels like he has to kill humans. Envy then swallowed him as Ed saw the philosopher stone inside. Ed somewhat remembers the strange symbols on the wall he saw before and such that he realized something. He quickly told Envy to quit it for he has a way to get them out of there. Elsewhere, Al is being led by Gluttony to its ‘father’. Scar and May followed them as May wanted to get Xiao May back. May senses something from underneath the sewers as they fight off the chimera guards. Underneath, Ed and Al’s father senses that something is coming. It would be interesting if just when Ed and others got out, he would be face to face with his father again. Hehehe Another month wait to know what happened.

    Wednesday, October 12, 2005 @ 11:37 a.m.

    Shadow of Destiny is indeed an interesting game. Eike had just time traveled to the past and it is interesting to know what were the side characters are from before. ^^; Unfortunately, I got him permanently killed when the homoculus teleported him to the past and well, I mistakenly used the digipad. I was just checking my inventory. Oh well, try again.

    The last episode of Gankutsuou [ep. 24] was okay. It just tells of what had happened to the remaining living cast after 5 years. They had pretty much have moved on with their lives. It is amusing that it took Albert 5 years to finally realize that Eugenie is still there for him. I do find it nice when Albert was walking at the bright side of the road towards the light as kind of a symbolism that he is moving on though as he said he would always remember the past. I guess it is rooted on the quote that those who doesn’t remember the past/history is doomed to repeat it.

    Gintama is already in volume 9 and my scans are still stuck at volume 3. It is too bad that there are no Chinese scans of it so I have just to wait for the English scans. Interesting though that the top 3 manga sales this week are from Jump and I’m reading them. The other two are Bleach and D. Gray-man.

    I have reached chapter 100 of Parfait Tic. Fuuko really can blunder things when things are going smoothly. I guess it is part of the awkwardness of being young. She had finally agreed to be with Daiya after Icchi has finally let go of the other girl who treats him as a brother. The author must have fun pointing out that timing is important. ^^; Then, Fuuko blundered it with Daiya’s mom that she made a wrong impression. Then this happens...

    Accidental kiss..chu...

    Poor Fuuko, she had slipped and had kissed Icchi accidentally. She ponders on what to do for four chapters as to whether to tell Daiya about it or not and in the end, she did. Unfortunately, it didn’t sit well with Daiya as to why she didn’t tell him immediately. I still find myself wanting to read more. I find the writer good to have made the story this long even if this is pretty much just a love triangle and also, I’m amazed that she managed to keep her art quite consistent. I find the most authors tend to change their art style or how they draw the characters midway the story. Well, seven more chapters to go to get updated.

    I have finally finished Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne and geez, the ending isn’t that good. ^^; The character just followed the devil to the path of darkness. What a letdown. I wished I didn’t bother doing that extra mission for I just wasted time and effort for such a uneventful ending. Anyway, I’m going to play Shadow of Destiny next. It is pretty much about solving who tried to kill the lead through time traveling. The character got killed once since I thought it was okay to just walking with any bystanders. It turned out that I have to time travel to get people to be with the character at the specified time of death. Then, the next scene was whether to go in and save someone inside a burning bar. Being a goody-two-shoes, I went in only to be killed again. ^^;; In the next scene, the character is now in the bar and how to put out the fire. That got be stumped again and wondered if it would have been better if I didn’t try to save the old man inside. ^^;;

    Gankutsuou [ep. 23] was also not that good. It was such a waste to ruin it at the last episode. Ferdinand is really bad at fighting. He can’t shoot straight or shoot to kill nor could he duel. I guess that is a reason why he has to resort to all of those corrupt ways just to get ahead. In the end, Ferdinand somewhat redeemed himself by asking the Count to spare Albert from being killed and just finish him off instead. It was really a drastic change from someone who tried to kill his own son a while ago. ^^;; Maybe he realized that he is a lost cause. Whatever the reason, the count still tried to shoot Albert as punishment for Ferdinand but the count’s goons shielded Albert. I’m guessing maybe they didn’t want the count to go that far for his revenge.

    Then, Albert became all dramatic to the count and tried to ‘destroy’ the master of the cave that had possessed the count. The count was released but then, he died. Everything came crashing down so everyone tried to make a run for it except Ferdinand who decided to stay and die there. Albert has to convince Haydee to go with him since she has become suicidal. Good thing Albert managed to talk her out of it. Tonight would be the epilogue. I hope that it is a more satisfying end than this one.

    Monday, October 10, 2005 @ 04:14 p.m.

    I had finished downloading all the English scans of Parfait Tic. ^_^ This series can be quite addictive as the tendency of shoujo love stories. It makes me want to know who Fuuko would end up with though I think she goes well with Daiya who is currently courting her again. The conflicts would have been solved earlier if only Daiya has realized his feeling for Fuuko before Icchi came to the picture. Icchi, unfortunately, left her in the air just when she has fallen for him. For now, Icchi has decided to go after the one whom he likes but then, just treats him as a ‘friend’ or rather, I found the girl as ‘user-friendly’ type of person. If she is lonely, she goes to him but if she is with others, she leaves him. I’m currently downloading the rest in Chinese. The Chinese scans are as usual, ahead and I think updated. I’ll just download the English scans again when it is updated.

    Rabi survives in D. Gray-man [chp. 65]. ^_^ When the akuma was about to hit him, he was saved by Bookman using his needles on a scroll. The akuma was then covered with the needles as Bookman tries to interrogate him. Bookman asked where he came from. It replied that it used to be a Japanese artist. When asked if the count sent him, it replied some name and that it will reply if Bookman would be his model. He then bits Bookman and jumped high in the sky which surprised Bookman. I guess the needles should have paralyzed him or something. Rabi quickly followed using his hammer.

    The akuma then ‘frames’ Bookman with his hand and titles it as ‘The old man and the Moon’. Needles are falling everywhere as Rabi catches Bookman. Then, someone is running up to them by running on Rabi’s hammer’s handle. It was Rinali. She told Rabi to quickly head back to the ship as she went towards the akuma. Rabi was forced to head back since his injuries has started to appear since he is away from the ship. The akums ‘frames’ Rinali as she tells it that she is going to destroy it. I’m happy that even though Rinali is a bit of a crybaby, she can fight when she really needs to. She somewhat reminds me of Kira on Gundam Seed. Hopefully, she can give that akuma are good fight in the next chapter.

    Leave this to me!

    Saturday, October 8, 2005 @ 05:19 p.m.

    Another attempt at Shin Megami Tensai:Nocturne and it was another failure. ^^;; I realized that I had equipped the wrong ‘thingie’ to prevent all status and element spells. I have to quit just when I’m hitting the enemy hard.

    I was surfing last night and found out that StorminHeaven is going to scanlate Vampire Knight. They have already re-release chapter one and would continue where Sweet Lunacy have left off. I do plan to do download the other chapters from them for better scans and well, so that I could realize the things that I have misunderstood in Chinese. ^^; Anyway, this is to inform those who wants English scans of Vampire Knight though I'm not to patient to wait for them to catch up so I'll still get the Chinese scans. =P

    In Bleach [chp. 198], Aizen asked Urquiola to report about what happened. Urquiola removed his eyeball and pressed it. Somehow, the others saw what he saw when they inhaled the particles. ^^; One of the hollows, Grim Jaw was arguing as to why didn’t Urquiola finished off Ichigo but after explaining his side and saying that they would finish Ichigo next time. The group dismissed Urquiola and Yammy. Grim Jaw doesn’t seem to happy about it. Back to the human world, the shinigamis planned to stay in Ichigo’s room but Ichigo won’t let them. In the end, Matsumoto will stay with Orihime. Renji will go to Urahara. I don’t know where the others would stay for the night though but I think Rukia might get to make Ichigo to stay at his closet even if he doesn’t want to.

    While walking, Yumichika thought that he sensed a different kind of hollow. Elsewhere, Tatsuki was thinking of the recent events happening which includes the coming of the shinigami in school. Orihime was telling her brother [picture] about Ichigo back to normal though she is a bit jealous of Rukia. Sado was looking out the window. Outside, Keigo and Mizuiro were walking home. Keigo is doing his usual monologues while Mizuiro was on the phone. Keigo then saw a flying hollow. He tried telling it to Mizuiro but then, Mizuiro won’t listen for he thought that Keigo is just imagining things again. The sky then parted and Grim Jaw has arrived, maybe to get a crack at Ichigo. I’m quite surprised that Keigo can see hollows.

    Someone's coming to town..and it ain't friendly.

    In One Piece [chp. 385], CP9 were given two devil fruits which Califa and Kaku ate. That would mean that they have powered up though it can be noted that devil fruits doesn’t taste good. Meanwhile, Luffy is still fighting Blueno. Blueno has the upper hand when he made doors to sink Luffy’s feet and made Luffy’s eyes into a revolving door. Because of the impact on the building, Zoro and Sanji noticed that Luffy is up there fighting. They are still stuck because their yagara bull is down. They plan to attack but Chopper told them to stop for the yagara bull is going to try something...it is on skates as it try to move on forward. Even if the others protest and that it is blind, it still wanted to finish its job of carrying them to their destination. Sanji and Zoro finish it by destroying the wall that bars their way. Everyone were hyper for they have succeeded as the yagara bull was happy for it has did its best

    Another thrashed building courtesy of the swordsman and the cook.

    Ren’s acting test still continues in Skip Beat! [chp. 75]. Since Itsumi doesn’t know how to play the piano, Ren suddenly offered that he would play with her. Everyone was surprised for they didn’t know that Ren could play. Obviously, he didn’t as he played made them look pretty dumbfound as Ren kept on playing as if it sounded really good. They also realized that it is the piece that Itsumi is playing before but Ren’s version is really bad.

    What the heck is he playing?!

    He looked at Itsumi as if asking her to join. She did and later on, Ren manages to play the tune correctly as he was copying Itsumi’s hands on the piano. He then asked her to ‘play catch’ with him and that if she wins, he can let her the piano during lunch period. Ren then started playing faster as Itsumi tries to catch up. Kyouko realized that this is Ren’s way of making things easier/relaxed between the two of them because of the ‘coldness’ before. Kyouko saw Lory’s expression and she was confident that Ren would pass this test.

    Different faces of Lory

    Scans are pretty late these days and this one isn’t made by billwang. ^^; Anyway, nothing much to say here but Ren’s really talented. By the way, the piano piece is entitled ‘Chase after the cat’ so maybe that gave Ren the idea of playing chase. I found the cat chase really amusing. But then, I don’t seem to have heard of that piano piece. ^^;;

    I think the area where Abel and his group is searching for the pope is Abel’s territory in Trinity Blood [ep. 21]. The pope found himself at some sort of an orphanage and befriend this girl whom at first, he was afraid of. ^^; Later he was caught by the rebel type lady who agreed to not drag in the little girl. Elsewhere, one of Abel’s companion from ah, I think, episode 4, where there are church children met the ones they have rescued. They tipped him off and he told the others but he returned back when the kids are attacked. In some underground, Esther got caught by Dietrich in some sort of web. He left her there and some goon is going to get here but Abel rescued her. Abel is super serious here as he told Esther to go upstairs. That’s it. I do wish that this anime have a preview for me to at least know what to expect next episode.

    Since I was up late at night, I watched Gyver since I was really curious as to how the lead and his friend escaped the enemy’s base. I didn’t have to watch last Saturday’s airing since wowow is offline. I have watched five episodes of Gun X Sword. The story is about this guy, Van who is out for revenge, looking for a guy with a claw hand who killed his wife-to-be. He met this little girl, Wendy who is also looking for the same guy who kidnapped his brother. The setting is pretty much like old country style with modern machines that remind me of Trigun or Grandier.

    The difference is that they have some sort of mecha and Van’s is extra special since his mecha comes from a cross-satellite. The art is nice and I like the opening and closing. My only problem here is the nonsense fillers which doesn’t quite contribute to the story and it can be quite silly. Since it has fillers, I doubt that this series will be short.

    There are a bit of Rabi in D. Gray-man [chp. 64] to make me happy. ^_^ Anita estimated that they will be able to arrive after two days when Rinali went to Anita’s room to ask for a hair accessory for her hair. Anita gave her something from her mother. She told Rinali that her mother was killed by an akuma and I think, it was General Cross who helped her. When asked if she thinks that he is still alive, Anita replied that she believe it to be so. Outside, Rabi was thinking about what Bookman told him about being objective as a Bookman, they are not to have ‘heart’ and has no allies. Then, the akuma landed behind him.

    Behind you!

    Miranda quickly noticed that something is wrong. I think she told them that she has to ‘regenerate’ something to its former self and that they are underattack. The akuma was using its hand to ‘frame’ wounded Rabi as if he was an artist or photographer. Then, a huge hammer appeared and attacked the akuma. Rabi has ‘regenerated’ to his former self temporarily, thanks to Miranda. Unfortunately, his attack didn’t work. He got tossed back and he hit the mast. Another ‘regeneration’. Then, as he looked up, he saw the akuma about to punch him down and I think that jap word meant the punch hit.

    That will hurt.

    Well, I really do hope that the author doesn’t plan to kill Rabi even though he would still be a mess after Miranda lift off her innocence invocation for the whole ship. He’s my most favorite character in this series but then, if Allen and Kanda has survived such scenes, I’m hoping it is so and there was this book cover of the three [top 3 favorite] on it so no way could the author kill him off. The author also mentioned of something special regarding the bookman and it is actually suppose to be a different manga title. Anyway, there are theories as to whether Cross/Allen will save them but then, I’m hoping Rabi would pull of something. I’m curious what is beneath that eye patch and interesting enough, the string passes through his earring.

    It was another dialogue-filled episode for Fullmetal Panic! TSR [ep. 11]. Sousuke bought a bottle of whisky then found a girl who looked like Chidori. She tried to seduce him but he snapped out when he had flashbacks of Chidori. Still wandering, he tried drinking but he isn’t used to it. In the end, he saw an ad on the newspaper about this ‘tiger’ from certain place to go to Tsim Tsa Tsui, some place in Hong Kong. Obviously, if I recall correctly, it is for him.

    I’m currently downloading scans of Parfait Tic. I saw it in the Chinese scans site and when Parfait was mentioned, I remembered seeing a site that has it. I have finished downloading at around volume 9 and there are 12 volumes available. I don’t think it is finished yet. The story is typical shoujo though but somehow I found myself still downloading since the art is descent. The story is about this ordinary girl named Fuuko who had new neighbors, two guys who are cousins. Ichi is the cold and smart one while Daiya is the sociable and not so bright. At first, Fuuko likes Daiya but he tends to be a womanizer and has turned Fuuko down. Ichi is currently courting him and from the looks of it, Daiya seemed to have fallen for her, too. Now, obviously from the first chapter, it seemed that Ichi has an ex-girlfriend. Fuuko is amusing in the ways she do her hairdo. There are some nice shoujo romantic scenes here. Overall, it is a good read.

    I have also download a bit of Shinshi Doumei Cross scans in Chinese. The only problem I have is that I can’t distinguish between the two leads for he has a double. I don’t know if the double is faking to be nice or was it the real president of the school. I’m also getting confused with the lead and a side character because the drawings tend to be alike. @_@;; The lead seems to be a bit like the lead in the author’s previous series, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne. Anyway, I still like some of the author’s colored spreads.

    In Gankutsuou [ep. 22], the Count told Albert about his past on how Albert’s father, the banker and the prosecutor conspired together to frame him for something he didn’t do. Albert’s father did it for not wanting to be a ‘nobody’, envious that he wasn’t the one made captain and wanted to have Mercedes. Elmond/count was going to expose the manipulation of the numbers in the accounting of the banker. The prosecutor did it for self-preservation since the letter that Elmond have contains his name as one of those who conspire to have the prince assassinated in order for the war to continue so that he could profit. Albert tried to take the Count out of it but then, a bomb blasting through the bridge prevented that as the Count went on his way. The Count’s henchmen just gave Albert a communicator as he rushes off to his father.

    Mercedes talked to Ferdinand, Albert’s father but after realizing the guy is loony for power. Mercedes wanted to leave him but she ended up being shot by Ferdinand. Albert came and he ended up like his mother. ^^; The count’s henchmen came to wreck some wires underneath Ferdinand’s ship. Talk about stupid engineering, leaving important wires outside the ship, shouldn’t it all be inside? That caused the ship crashing down. Ferdinand took his chance to fly in his mecha to fight the count that he learned to be Elmond. I like the bgm of ‘something is going to happen’ ringing. ^_^ I think I got to like it during Franz and Count’s duel.

    Next episode would be the finale. The preview was pretty hilarious for Ferdinand was holding Haydee as hostage while the Count’s henchmen was holding Albert as hostage. Asher pointed out that the henchmen was stupid for Ferdinand had tried to shoot Albert so what’s he’s use as a hostage. I joked that maybe they just got to have a hostage, too. I’m also thinking that Ferdinand must be one lousy shooter for Albert is still alive. A military man can’t even shoot straight. No wonder he has to resort to corruption to get ahead. Hopefully, he can duel with swords. Will see then in the next episode.

    I was so close to finishing Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne when I realized the blunder of choosing that character during the fights. I noticed that if I use ‘fighting level up’ for my characters, the devil won’t remove the ‘status down spell’ I put on him. The moment I didn’t use the ‘level up’ after he removed the spell, he removed the ‘status down’ spell. The blunder came when the pixie got charmed and cured the devil to its full hp. I don’t think I could win with many characters already dead so I have try again. I think I need to find a character who are resistant to status spells and maybe a healer. I’m really on the verge of giving up much like I have gave up on Vagrant Story – the last boss is just too powerful.

    The count finishes off his two enemies in Gankutsuou [ep. 21]. The banker was sent off alone on a plane made of gold. I think he was just made to wander around in space for there are no pilots on the plane and he’ll just starve to death for gold can’t be eaten. I wonder if the plane has gas though. Hehehe During the trial of the prosecutor, Andre was presented as witness and they learned that he was actually the product of the prosecutor and the banker’s wife. Andre pretend to make-up with his father then stabbed him with a poisonous needle, courtesy of the count. Only one to go and that is Albert’s father. With only three episodes to go, I’m guessing that two episodes to deal with Albert’s father and the last one would be the epilogue.

    I finally watched Final Fantasy:Advent Children. It was really cool especially the action scenes. At times, I don’t want to blink for I felt like I missed something. Everything looks realistic that I forgot that this are just created characters. The story is basically about some mysterious illness that is appearing lately and these three somewhat look alike of Sephiroth who are looking for Jenova. Cloud is doing his usual angst but managed to pull through it with the help of his friends. The Turks still make good comedy and I’m glad that Shinra president is alive. ^_^ Overall, it is great and it would be really enjoyable if one likes FF7, like me. It is after all the first RPG game I played in PSX and actually finished it. ^_^

    I also watched Final Fantasy: Last Order. It is basically about how Zack got Cloud out of the lab and it alternates with what happened that day that changed their fate. It is a bit confusing when the go back and forth with these two stories and the end is pretty abrupt. It is more like a side story for FF7 since this wasn’t detailed in the game.

    Since the kids stayed overnight last Saturday, I got to advance again in Devil May Cry until I got stuck at a part. ^^;; It would help if I understood what that door is saying when I tried to open it. I teasingly told my nephew to study Japanese so that I could understand. Aside from DMC, now, wowow has this notice up on the channel and I have no idea what it says. I’m beginning to wonder if I would get to watch any shows of it anymore especially by Wed and Thurs night. Oh well, I can just download the anime if it is still ‘offline’.

    I watched a couple of Otogi Zoshi episodes since Asher told me of a good twist there. I think this is the climax of the arc so what the heck, I watched it. After getting all of the magatama, they learned that they got it the wrong way and it would cause destruction instead of ‘saving’ their country. It was all Seimei’s fault and they didn’t know. They tried to stop him and ended up doing the ‘I’ll stay here though I might end up dead, you go ahead coz you’re important’. Hikaru did got to Seimei and instead of aiming at the heart to kill him, she aimed at the head. Seimei was wearing a mask on and obviously, it got defected. Her arrow must be dull. ^^; Anyway, she did got the shock of her life when she learned that Seimei is actually Manzai. The director must be hinting on him already since while Hikaru was running up the stairs, there is a flute bgm. The next episode would seem to be monologues of the two characters regarding things and the title is Hikaru which also mean light. Since I didn’t get to watch the other episodes, I do wonder if Manzai knew that Reiku/Hikaru is actually Hikaru.

    I read some scans of Shinshi Doumei Cross. The story is about this girl who was ‘sold’ by his father to this family and because of that she became a delinquent. Her life changed when she met this guy and she decided to change. She even enrolled where the guy is school president. Later on, she found herself to be his bodyguard then ‘fake’ lover. By the end of chapter 7, she got ‘dumped’ when she saw her ‘former master’ with the guy. Honestly, I don’t know where the author plans to take the story. The guy seemed to be the typical appearing to be cold but ended up taking advice of other people. The characters are really different. Her former ‘master’ seemed to hint of shoujo ai. The vice president is gay. The other girl in the school council turned out to be a transvestite. I ended up being confused with the characters and the story. ^^; But I still somehow, still wanted to know what happened next. ^^;;;

    In Bleach [chp. 197], Kon is really happy that Rukia is back. Ichigo’s family are eavesdropping on him and Rukia. After Ichigo told them to quit it, the others arrived to explain what’s happening. They told them that because of Aizen, hollows that are allankar had increased. Hitsugaya told him that Aizen have three groups of hollows in his army against Soul Society. The third ones which are much stronger than the other two and about the level of a captain. Hitsugaya said that if Aizen have at least 10 of those, Soul Society would be doomed since currently, they only have 10 captains since three of them had defected. In Huenco Mundo, Yammy and Urquiola were welcomed back by Aizen and asked to report to him and twenty of his friends. Uh-oh, would that mean that Aizen has actually more than double of the feared amount? Well, they are not counting three more for Urahara, Yoruichi and Isshin. Oh ya, probably, Ichigo later on. But then, some people might level up later on, too.

    Report to the boss.

    While in One Piece [chp. 384], Sogeking was hiding on the hair of the fallen giant. Then, he learned about the giant’s story and they are somewhat related to Broggy and Groggy. I think the government gave them a different story of what happened and Sogeking told them the truth about it. The three headed giant seemed to be still arguing with each other what to do. Cocoro phoned it to Nami and told them that they saw Luffy and I think which door to enter. Their giant yagara bull got hit by these hooded guys, who looked like executioners in comics. Then, the two giants rose up, the marines were happy and not happy when they started fighting them. I guess Usopp/Sogeking made them to go with their side.

    Friday, September 30, 2005 @ 09:05 p.m.

    I spend the whole morning at bed. ^^; I felt tired even after I’m slept the most hours. Anyway, a bit of rest and naps, I’m okay already. I head off to the office for the whole afternoon. I helped my mom since my dad and uncle went to the province. Then, I tried to finish Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne and still, I’m defeated by the final extra boss. I’m beginning to regret doing that bonus adventure to get the complete ending. I want to finish this game and move on already. I should do a different tactic then.

    The new arc in Trinity Blood at episode 20 is Throne of Roses. As usual, there are lot of dialogue and I don’t get it. Someone died. Abel went to some hidden place while Seth was hoping that her two brothers would ‘do something’ maybe make up and such. ^^; Then, Esther with the wimpy pope and another woman went to visit some kind of factory, which was toured by this blond guy. Then, a lady with a few others attacked the place. The blond guy seemed to know her and I think they are blood related. I forgot what aniki meant..wasn’t that brother? Then, she threw this thing, which caused a fog. At first, Esther was with the pope then they got separated. Catherine was informed about it and the brother was very angry. I’m thinking it is something about can’t trust vampires. Anyway, two of Abel’s group, another two of some sort of royal guards and Abel went through the back entrance to rescue them. I think this is Abel’s territory for he knew how to get there. Hope that next episode I would get to understand what’s happening or a certain blog would catch up to this episode but then, I highly doubt it.

    Thursday, September 29, 2005 @ 02:59 p.m.

    I finished reading Addicted to Curry up to what was scanlated [chp 1 – 41]. The story is about this guy named Makito who loves to cook curry. He trying to find a certain guy who had interviewed his mother regarding her curry. On his search, he stumbled upon a curry house which was owned by his friend who knows the interviewer. His friend is gone and only his daughter was there who was somewhat hesitant to close the shop. Makito decided to help her out with the shop as he waits for her dad to return from curry research.

    At the start, they have to get back customers in order to pay the bills of the shop. Later on, they have to fight off a company who wanted to buy the shop/land and would even resort to dirty tricks just to get it. Obviously, a food manga would have matches and those ooh—ahh expressions of judges that reminded me of Japanese/Taiwanese cooking with people tasting shows. My only problem with this manga is the sex scenes and two perverts which includes the lead. Otherwise, it would have been okay. There are times it diverts from the plot and made me think that those are filler chapters. The lead somewhat reminds me of Onizuka of GTO. ^^; The chibi drawings are cute though.

    In Full Metal Panic! TSR [ep. 10], Sousuke and group has a new mission in Hong Kong. Sousuke is a bit out of himself as he kept thinking of Chidori or perhaps worrying about her. He, together with Mao would drive around in a delivery truck to scout out the place where a mysterious AS kept on appearing. Sousuke was thinking of Chidori that he hit a taxi. The military/police went to investigate and was going to arrest them when the AS came and attacked some other mecha guards. Sousuke was looking straight at it that Mao have to cover him to protect him. After the AS left, Mao berates Sousuke for not paying attention. Sousuke then decided not to go on with the mission and left. There are a lot of dialogue in this episode and so I’m a bit bored since I don’t understand it. It was only at the last scenes that I somehow got to enjoy this episode even if nothing much happened. ^^; The next episode would be Sousuke thinking of what he should do – follow orders or do what he feels he should do.

    My niece and nephew stayed overnight again here last night. Today is Teacher’s day so they don’t have classes. I don’t recall Teacher’s day as a no school day in my time though. Anyway, we had advance in Devil May Cry 1 again. We are currently at level 10. At first, I was stuck at where we last played that I wasted time doing it all over again and this time, I had a hard time defeating this boss enemy which I had defeated a bit easily the last time. ^^; I played where I left again and managed to find a way out. ^_^ This game is pretty much just an adventure game and not much story. They had already left for tutor classes.

    In Gankutsuou [ep. 19-20], Albert was becoming a bit rebellious and a bit suicidal but after an encounter with some guards who beat him up, he had a dream and remembered that he still has Eugenie. His glasses friend helped him out. Meanwhile, Eugenie was forced to marry Andre since her father, the banker, has gone bankrupt after the Count sold all the stocks that banker had invested in. Upon learning about the marriage, Albert tried to sneak in but was prevented from going further by Andre. He tried again this time with Bepo, his ex-maid who seemed to have a crush on him and this time, at the wedding itself. Eugenie was about to sign when she was surprised to see Albert in a maid uniform that the ink from the pen blotted the whole contract. Bepo announces that it has happened to another woman and she was doomed to have an unhappy marriage.

    Albert took this opportunity to take Eugenie away. Andre tried to run after them but Albert’s friends helped them escape. Later, the police came to arrest Andre for fraud and being a fake aristocrat. The banker panicked and tried to run off with the money he has. At the airport, Albert send Eugenie off to New York where she can happily continue with her love of playing the piano. They read Franz’s letter which is about not to ‘hate’ after all the things that had happened. Albert with his glasses friend rode away after seeing the plane, which carries Eugenie has left. Albert wanted to see the Count again. The nice scene here was when Eugenie and Albert bid each other goodbye. It was really nice. ^_^ Four more episodes before it all ends. The next episode would be judgment day for the banker.

    In D. Gray-man [chp. 63], Allen and Fou are still fighting. Allen at times managed to get his hand back but when attacked, it quickly dissipates again. Fou got to behead Allen but good for him, Fou is vanishing as she told him that she needs to sleep in order to recharge and that they will continue later on. Allen collapses as he was somewhat relieved for if she haven’t needed to recharge, he would be headless by then. The others reported to Bak what had happened. Bak then reported to Komui about what had happened. Komui then learned that a couple of generals had came back. Komui met them and I think they are going to meet with the heads of the church. Somewhere else, the moon is the same as Rinali/Allen dreamt as an akuma floats near the ship. Uh-oh, that is not good. Anyway, together with his chapter is a character poll of top 5 characters: 1. Allen, 2. Kanda [amazing, even though he haven’t been appearing lately] 3. Rabi [^_^] 4. Rinali and 5. Komui. My fave characters. Hehehe

    Monday, September 26, 2005 @ 11:31 a.m.

    We just stayed at home yesterday. In the afternoon, bro with the kids came to visit or rather play. Bro was asking him how to play this marvel cards game. The instructions are a bit confusing and when it involved math, my brain shut down. ^^;; In the end, my nephew wanted to play PS2. I don’t have a vs. battle game and since Kingdom Hearts is at his home, I decided on an action game. I put on Metal Gear Solid 2. In my haste to try to show some action, I ended up getting shot and killed. ^^; I changed it into Devil May Cry 3 and for some reason, it won’t run so I tried Devil May Cry 1.

    Finally, it worked. Amazingly enough, nephew and I actually have gotten far in this game. I haven’t played this game before since there are lots of Japanese text and I’m tend to get stuck. This time, I managed to go farther. Hehehe and even if I have no idea what some of the things I’m getting or what the items mean since everything is in Japanese. I can’t even understand what Dante is saying since the sounds is much louder than his voice. ^^;; The bashing can take a beating on my right hand so at times, I ask my nephew to fight the monsters. I think we are at around mission 4 or 5.

    I’m currently watching School Rumble which started at around episode 11. The earlier episodes, I can’t find the links anymore. Basically, it is the same as the manga. The fun part is pretty much the ending song. Harima is pretty cute in chibi mode and the song is really something. ^_^

    Devil Beside Me [Taiwanese drama] has finally ended and well, it is a bit corny. ^^; The girl decided to play run away with the guy chasing. In the end, they kiss and made up and what the heck, they spend the night together, too. After one year, the guy returned and the two are together again. I guess getting together with step-siblings who didn’t grow up together is much better taken than if they grew up together. The next series is It Started with a Kiss. Just from the title, I can pretty much guess what is going to happen since I have already watched the Japanese version of this story.

    Itazura na Kiss is the basis of the drama series. It is about this girl who belong to the F class [failure students] who has fallen for this boy who belong to the A class [intelligent student]. The boy claims that he detests stupid girls. One day, her house got destroyed/collapses. In the Japanese drama, it got burned. Her father got an invite from his friend to live with them. Guess what, it was actually the boy’s father. So, she was thrilled to be living at her crush’s house and not only that, his mother has always wanted to have a ‘daughter’. There are really some silly/corny scenes here that I didn’t watch throughout the series only the near ending. Obviously, the two ended up together as the boy has ‘opened’ up to the girl. My bias is that I find the Japanese cast more charming than this current Taiwanese cast. Well, the lead boy is actually cute in the Japanese series and I can still remember the lead girl was an actress who is a bit famous for teen roles before. I remember her for her ears are a bit big. This was shown when cable tv has just started business here...mm, that was in the early ‘90s, I think. Anyway, the manga series is left hanging for the author died before it was finished.

    Saturday, September 24, 2005 @ 10:27 p.m.

    I had finished watching Rozen Maiden. It is a pretty okay anime but then, the end seemed to be a bit hanging for who the ‘father’ is wasn’t revealed and who won the ‘alice game.’ I can just assume that it will be done in the next installment, ‘Rozen Maiden Traumend’ which will start on Oct. It is a bit silly to watch dolls bullying a boy but then, I guess it is funnier to bully a boy than a girl. I felt that the last fight wasn’t fair. The silver haired doll doesn’t have a medium so Shinku obviously will win. I somewhat find the long haired brown doll in the green dress amusing regarding the way she bullies Jun. I try not to think of a possible love relationship for that would be pretty much like Chobits or Peach-pit’s other manga, DearS.

    In Penguin Revolution [chp. 11-12], Ryou managed to get a part in a sentai series Animalder. He will play as the younger brother of the ‘black’ member of the sentai group. The ‘black’ member is katana guy, gomen, don’t know the name who wanted Yukari to be his manager. The last scene, there was an accidental blast that made Ryou act quite good as he told his ‘brother’ that he is okay. Mm..Ryou tend to act well when he is hurt. ^^;; The director decided to put that scene in. Yukari turned down katana guy again about becoming his manager. The next day, Yukari was surprised when the president of their company told her to manage katana guy. Aside from all of these, the author still likes putting Yukari in awkward positions. Ayaori still kept on going into the bathroom and seeing her there. Why doesn’t she just lock the door? And, a new one of Ayaori going out with just a towel to cover himself. I’m amused that Ryou actually blushed. ^^;;

    Blushing...^^;

    As usual, I still like Ayaori and hope he would get more pages but then I have to admit, Ryou is the lead here hence the penguin title. Too bad that Ryou is the one that I don’t quite like of the guys here aside from the president. The katana guy is the second guy I like here but then, it is my bias to have a tendency to like katana-wielding guys and well, his eyes reminds me of a cat.

    In Bleach [chp. 196], Ichigo was quite surprised to see Rukia that Rukia kicked him in the face. ^^; Some welcome greeting. Renji caught him as Rukia slaps him some more and drag him away in shinigami form, just like old times. Hehehe Back at the classroom, everyone was wondering about the new ‘students’ and if Ichigo is dead since he is lifeless. The ‘students’ are causing a rukus that Hitsugaya wished he had a replacement. Poor Hitsugaya, demoted to become a babysitter and ironically, he is the youngest of the group.

    Rukia then brought Ichigo to a hollow to fight it. Ichigo hesitated as he remembered his hollow self. Rukia berated him for not going into shinigami form ever since he was defeated and that basically, told him to not give up for he can just grow stronger to protect the promise to protect his friends, to defeat his hollow self and rise up from the defeat. Ichigo realized what she was saying and he easily defeated the hollow. After that, Rukia continues to drag Ichigo in his body now, to Inoue. Rukia made Ichigo apologize to Inoue. Ichigo then told her that he will protect her. Inoue was relieved that Ichigo is back to his old self. Inoue thanked Ichigo and Rukia as she welcomed Rukia back. It is nice to see Rukia back to her old self rather than being all gloomy during the soul society arc. ^_^

    Apologize, boy!

    In One Piece [chp. 383], Zoro and the others are heading to the building when they noticed that Sogeking is not there. Then, one of the huge yagara bulls got hit. They have to go to the zebra looking one as they kept on going. Elsewhere, the three shipwrights are still holding their ground fighting against the canine group. Meanwhile, Blueno was saying something about the marines and he thought that Luffy isn’t strong enough after he was defeated in Water 7. To his surprise, Luffy is quite stronger than he think as Luffy told him that he doesn’t care about world matters and the marines, he is only there to get Robin back.

    One punch and almost down.

    It turned out that Condor Hero has ended the other day. While I was watching tv, waiting for it, I was a bit puzzled why they are showing Alias and it occurred to be that the last episode I saw didn’t have a preview and that could mean the end of that season. The next season has not been made yet, it seems.

    In Trinity Blood [ep. 19], Esther offered herself to Kafka to control the pain but Kafka wouldn’t want to do that and immediately moved away. He took the knife to kill himself but before he could kill himself, Abel came to prevent that. Oh look, he got the antidote. They went to the throne room to save off with this vampire as Astharoth, Esther and Kafka tried to tell the ‘empress’ that the guy is no good. They were surprised when the veiled woman was not actually the ‘empress’ but was the kid girl whom they met earlier, Seth. The vampire was obviously exposed for he together with the other one has tried to kill Seth. He tried to Seth but later found that he has a hole in his body courtesy of Astharoth. He then told something to Seth. I guess he isn’t a real bad guy or something.

    Elsewhere, the other vampire is stealing something from the computer but was cornered by Abel. Abel went into krusnik mode to attack but ended up being zapped by the weird vapors inside the vampire’s body. Seth came to rescue and she can go into krusnik mode too. She made the vampire’s body into stone then it turned into dust. Seth greeted Abel as her older brother. Esther is now leaving as Kafka didn’t want to bid her goodbye at first but after some prodding, he went to Esther. Somewhere, Abel and Seth talk about Cain. There is a flashback of Abel getting angry with Cain then Cain dropped himself of to Earth. Abel got irritated about it and left. The paths that the siblings took are pretty different from each other. ^^; That ends the arc and a new arc starts in the next episode. I forgot the title. ^^;

    I’m currently watching Rozen Maiden. This series pretty much reminds me of Konjiki Gash no Bell but instead of ‘monsters’, they are dolls. The names of the dolls are interesting. I think there will be a new series on this in October anime season. I’m assuming that it is the continuation so I’m going to finish watching this first before the others. At first, I thought it is somewhat childish but then, it somewhat grows on me.

    In Conder Hero [ep. 51-52], it seemed that Guo is really jinxed in regards to Fu. Fu has stupidly re-stabbed Gugu with Li’s poison needles, thinking that it was Li. It really got Guo infuriated that he kidnapped the baby again. ^^; Fu and this guy, Qui managed to get out and unfortunately for them, got tricked by Li. Li stunned Fu to die in the forest fire. Guo and Gugu saw her. Persuaded by Gugu, Guo saved Fu. Silly girl, Guo is already saving her and she still kept on thinking that he wants to kill her. Guo has already escaped by the time his aunt arrived with Qui. Guo and Gugu decided to live their lives or rather die peacefully in the South. On their way there, they met a traitor of the Beggar Sect who wanted Guo’s aunt’s position. Then, they also met a monk with this eye-bagged eyes who is haunted by his past. Guo was surprised that the eye-bagged guy was actually the brother of the hag. The guy went crazy and tried to attack his master to vent his frustration for not being able to forgive himself for what he died. Guo intervened. I’m hoping that maybe this guy would be able to persuade his sister to give Guo the antidote. Somehow, I have a feeling that Gugu might die ahead of Guo.

    Chidori showed off what she is made of in Full Metal Panic! TSR [ep. 9]. Chidori felt she was being followed so she brought with her some stuff that Sousuke gave her before. It seemed that she wanted to know who it was. She did some nice tactics on how to make sure you are not being followed. She even changed her clothes and got into a robe. She found the guy watching her but then, was attacked by one of the twins [the short hair one]. Chidori managed to trick her and zap her with a stun gun. Then, the silver haired guy appeared. I have no idea what they talked about but the guy seemed to be related to Tessa for they looked alike. He even stole a kiss from Chidori, which made Chidori angry that she slapped him. He then asked one of his guards to kill the short-haired Chinese twin. He was about to leave with the stalker and the twin when Chidori asked the stalker to be left for he is still alive. After they left, Chidori tried rubbing off the kiss from her lips and cried for Sousuke. I think the stalker was the one who contacted Sousuke before and his face is not the real one for part of his mask was removed. Anyway, it was a fun episode. ^_^

    The new layout is from Final Fantasy: Advent Children. I thought that since it has just been release this month, why not use it as a blog pic. The title for the version is also from a Final Fantasy novel, which was suppose to be a prologue to Advent Children. Obviously, I have run out of ideas and somehow it fits. ^^; The layout is pretty much the same as the Akabane I did before. ^^; I have downloaded the movie but it is quite blurred that the trailer I downloaded before is much clearer. I will try to find a clearer version before watching it. I glanced a bit at Final Fantasy Last Order ova. It really made me want to play FF7 again for I somewhat forgot some things already. ^^;

    Edit: I think my html layout got erased. The new layout will be up later on, after lunch.

    I had watched Honey & Clover [ep. 18-20] last night. I begin to wonder if there would be a resolution to the love polygons since this series will be ending soon. Well, Morita has came back and has finally graduated but then, he enrolled himself back to school. Takemoto was a bit uneasy for his rival for Hagu has came back but then, he still has problems as to what to do for the future. Then, there is still the Rika-Mayama-Yamada-Nomiya love polygon. It is quite amusing that Nomiya is pretty much what Mayama aspires for and would become him when he grows older. Nomiya is vexed about it since his past memories of himself was haunting him every time he sees Mayama. Hehehe

    In Gankutsuou [ep. 18],Franz gave Albert a birthday gift he will never forget and that is an extension of Albert’s life. Franz has indeed drugged Albert and went to the duel against the Count. Franz was outmatched and he even failed killing the Count when the Count was about to give the final blow. Mercedes was also there. I wonder if she could cope up with the stress/shock of seeing her ‘son’ getting killed by her ‘ex-lover’. The last scene, Albert has rushed to the scene but he was too late. What the Count and others have thought when they saw Albert wasn’t shown. The final scene was Franz saying his last words to Albert. It was really sad that I got a bit teary eyed there.

    Guo has begun healing Gugu in Conder Hero [ep. 49-50]. His aunt and Fu has found a new companion, forgot his name that Fu has a crush on. Fu tends to have crushes on guys who saves her. ^^; They followed Li to the Old Tomb but got themselves trapped. Well, it is really Fu’s fault for wanting to go on when they should have returned to her mother. Anyway, they heard the baby crying so might have a way out. Meanwhile, Li found Guo and Gugu. Guo managed to use Li’s chi to help cure Gugu fast but it backfired when Li has put in poison. Guo and Gugu pretended to be dead and trapped Li inside the tomb. From the preview, it seemed that people who think they have the upper hand ends up knowing that they don’t have the upper hand. ^^;;

    In D. Gray-man [chp. 62], Allen is still trying to make his innocence merge to his left arm but kept on failing. He felt he has to hurry up for he fears about the dream he saw of Rinali crying in some ruins. He stood up and hit Bak who could have been bending to him. Lots of papers flew all around. Bak told him to rest for he was at it for two days already. Allen said that he is okay and helped Bak pick up the papers and to his surprise, they are all Rinali’s pictures. Bak freaked out and quickly snatched the papers from Allen. Allen asked Bak if he likes Rinali. Bak blushed and freaked out.

    Bak's collection of Rinali photos - Don't Touch!

    Later on, Bak on bed, probably suffering from embarrassment, told Allen the difference between weapon innocence and parasite innocence. If a weapon innocence was destroyed, it vanished and apparently, if it is a parasite, it doesn’t. They have no data on parasite innocence so Allen has to figure it out himself on how to get the innocence back. Bak then suggested that he fight with Fou and perhaps, Allen might force it to merge back to him. Fou appeared from the wall of the huge gate and she seemed to be its guardian. Fou changed her hands into scythe-shaped weapons and attacked Allen. Allen was being bashed around until the end, he seemed to become serious in fighting.

    Fou vs Allen
