Sigh, the cable is still playing with the channels and the signal is still a bit blurry. The small MTV Asia is now big, maybe because the chat is down. In the line-up, they will bring AXN back though the anime there right now are mostly reruns.

About the split-up, it has finally ended as both camps decided to shut up about it and the girl of the story had forgiven the guy after he said sorry. Rumors say that it was okay for the girl since more dirt might be shown in both sides. The girl had decided to minimize her exposure in the business by quitting her showbiz talk show and making the Mano Po2 her last movie. As many would say, she would be really stupid if she went back to the guy. In my opinion, after all that, I think I would have dropped the guy just knowing that he had infected me with STD rather than a mere poking of the gun. I guess she could be traumatized with a loaded gun being poked on her since her father was assassinated. She actually had a shooting here. Our driver told me about it and it was shown on tv. I was saying, “Hey that was really near here like a block from here on our street at the back.” She was saying that it was clean and well, it was always clean there since not much people walk there. I sometimes walk at the back when going to our store. The funny stuff that came out from all of this was the guy’s sister’s quotable quotes, which are made into jokes or rather punch lines. The most famous is, “Don’t judge my brother! He is not a book.” That is from the quotation of “Don’t judge a book from its cover.”

Back to politics, well, as predicted, our president broke her promise of saying she will run. You see, last December 30, she told everyone that she would no longer run so that she can focus on improving the country. I don’t think much happened though even though the government said that there was a lot of improvement. As columns would say it tend to be more on popularity moves not long term. I had watched the speech. I actually thought I heard her say that she would ‘prefer’ her resignation and it was ‘defer’. ^^; It looked like a campaign speech-meeting since there was even an announcer saying for the people to shout and stand up, etc. He also leads in the cheering. There was a lot of brouhaha about her breaking her promise, she wasn’t really lying – she just changed her mind, etc. There was a huge page of essay regarding it saying that who cares if she wants to run, we can just not vote for her if we don’t want her to win. It was well-written.

She does have a huge chance of winning with the US as her backing since she is buddy-buddy with Bush though from the things are going, Bush might have a hard time winning in the elections there. She has the machinery for the campaign and the resources. I somewhat doubt that it would be possible for her to stop doing stuff to improve her popularity and just concentrate on her job if she was elected. She seemed to be trying to please people rather than anything else. Also, I get vibes on her when I see her...I don’t know why but it is uncomfortable seeing her on tv. ^^; As I said before, she looked like a teacher of mine and she is actually happy that she was compared to the president who was just the vice-president before. My socialite classmate remarked that she looked like a chipmunk with front teeth in front. ^^;; I wonder where that teacher is now. Oh ya, her contenders include a senator who had a background of drugs and other not so good stuff, a ex-education secretary who has been too quiet and seem to be too tame and a senator who was accused of plotting a mutiny. The others haven’t officially said that they would run but they are: an actor – buddy of the ex-president who is in accused of plunder, a senator-tv host, and the ‘manager’ of a major beer brewery company here who used to be chummy with the ex-dictator president. I don’t know if I missed anyone but from that list, it is quite hard to chose whom to vote. ^^;

I had been wondering if Globe [jpop group] had disbanded or changed their name. There is a group shown on jettv called Move. It has the same theme as Globe - A female singer, a guy rapper and a keyboardist. The type of music is basically the same. I would research on it later on. The soaps – 1.) the local is boring, 2.) Secretly in Love had become boring since everyone knew she was a girl – all have their partners so it would just take time for all of them to be with their respective partners and the end, 3.) Beautiful days is okay and I think the beautiful girl was the sister if only she make herself up. She is still helping her ungrateful vengeful younger sister who thought she was stood up during their meeting when actually, the sister got into an accident so she wasn’t able to go. The brother likes sister while younger brother is friends with younger sister. It is funny that the brother – younger brother and sister- younger sister aren’t really siblings. The brothers have different mothers but they have a sister who is related to the older brother. The sisters are orphans. From the way it was shown today, the younger brother would fall for the sister for he did want her drawing when they were still kids. 4.) Premonition of Love – it will end tonight and from the things are going, she will end up with her sacrificing boyfriend while the rich guy just learned that she had a boyfriend. ^^;;

PA- Nothing much happened. Kei has a problem, too for she doesn’t want to be friends with anyone as she was ‘programmed’ to and the usual blah blah of Hayato and Takeshi before. Ryo helped changed her mind by his usual sermon then saving her from being hit by pipes. Ryo’s mother helped her son by saving Hayto and the others with her husband[?] who was quite an old man. Cliff ‘borrowed’ Yugo’s telepathy to traumatize Ryo and well, he got what he wanted, Jabberwocky came out and ready to pound some sense on that Cliff. I hope he does it...I really don’t like that Cliff guy. Somewhere, Keith is gloating and stuff as he talked with another person.

I didn’t understand what the heck happened in Scrapped Princess. The ending was like – what the ---? ^^;; Okay, they are still fighting then suddenly, Pacifica disappeared and time stopped. A piece of earth was lifted from its crust. Shannon is still fighting and had finished off with the help of others, the enemies. Pacifica is in a green field talking with her counterpart, the girl who looked like her. Then, there was about this ‘past’ of Shannon and Raquelle about being a fighter and scientist respectively. Then, Pacifica said something and the other girl was satisfied. She disappeared, time started moving as the piece of earth went back on its place. Then, a cool scene of making the sky checkered then disappear each part as the blue sky was shown and everyone was surprised since it used to be dark. It stopped the war. Pacifica re-appeared in front of Shannon, naked. Shannon was surprised and Pacifica punched him for she was naked. ^^; Then, Raquelle saw the sky as Shannon re-appeared with Pacifica in his cape. Raquelle was very happy as she hugged Pacifica and Shannon broke down and cried on Raquelle’s shoulder for it is all over. Even Forsis, Pacifica’s brother is alive. The last scene was they all went back to their country life as Pacifica was still trying hard to get for Leo. Then, there was a very quick flash through the skies to the space with the ‘End’ sign as Shannon dragon flying across it. I really don’t understand and I was hoping the ending could have been better.

I had went to Nii today and I guess it is a bad luck day. In a billboard, they usually put a paper to write your name as to what number you are. I wrote my name and I’m at no. 6. I do feel a bit weird so did mom as to why there are only 6 patients since Nii had lots of patients about 20-30 patients especially on Mondays. [Just think that each visit cost P400, he must be rich. ^^] Anyway, it turned out that there were two lists. We didn’t see the first one which bunny [secretary] said. Now, we know. ^^; We are moved to no. 14. My mother wasn’t too pleased much more the woman before us who was there since 630am. We ended up staying there until 130pm when usually we eat lunch at home. My estimate was 2 hours waiting whether you are early or late – if your name is listed correctly, of course.

The creatinine level had fluctuated so it wasn’t sure if it was caused by the new medicine. We would have to study it so another blood test after two weeks with the main medicines lessen. Nii said that usually the medicine would depend on body weight and he doesn’t know why but in my case, it is different. Even if I’m quite thin, I still need huge dosage. I think it is because my body just doesn’t absorb things quite well – nutrients from food, strength of antibiotics so it have to be powerful ones, etc. Then, he gave me lots of multivitamins for faster skin healing. I’m quite tense about it since sis’ wedding is near. In the end, I think that all I can do for the ones on the forehead is get a haircut with bangs. The people who I have seen with bangs are J-pop singers like Ayumi. Hehehe Lastly, my mother had asked again, why my blood count wouldn’t go to normal levels. Nii said that it could be because of the red blood cells or platelets being uneven shaped and well, basically it is the hemoglobin. I already know that since I have searched some difficult term on the blood result before. The final analysis is that I’m ‘unique’ because the things that are happening to me never happened to others. Mm..is that a compliment? ^^;;;

PA- Ryo defeated Cyclops since Yugo had lead them to the mirror house. I had thought of it already. Cyclops doesn’t want to give up that he burned himself when he tried to burn a mirror. Ryo punched him to stop him from hurting himself. Next, is the little girl named Twister Carol. She just can use her power to twist anything she wants. Ryo managed to control Jabberwocky from coming out by scolding it. ^^;; Then, gave Carol a bit of counseling that power doesn’t make people like you. Carol broke down since her parents couldn’t control her anymore that they left her at Eigregory. Cliff was angry then he blab that Yugo called Angel who was the first to exhibit telepathy and he is Evil because it came out when a scientist kept on insulting him. He started attacking Ryo and Carol. Carol rooted for Ryo and I wonder if she would be paired to Al later on. Hehehe Cliff used his telekinesis to make Kei fall down. Ryo managed to catch it and shouted that Cliff is just like those scientists who look down on people. He doesn’t need Jabberwocky to teach him a lesson. I guess this amusement park fight would end next episode. Yugo seemed to be a good guy. I was guessing that Blue Men boss might be Ryo’s father whose face was never shown as well as the boss. I think this is already the second season since the ending is different. It was cut so I never see the whole clip instead of a field overlooking a futuristic city and sea, it is a girl giving a curtsy and then the planet Earth.

Speaking of ending, I watched the last episode of CGT in Cartoon Network hoping that I would watch the cut last credit ending but I was more disappointed since they just repeated the old ending with English credits. ^^; Anyway, I somewhat knew that would happen since Gundam Wing kept on repeating the first season credits. No hope for it to show the other season openings of Yugioh, I guess. I watched the local version of Yugioh. Just like Rurouni Kenshin, they used the English names for the characters just like in Cartoon Network. Well, Joey is much easier to remember than Jounouchi. Dubbing so far is okay.

Naruto – the bad guy was double-crossed so he killed off the boss who belittle the girl whom Kakashi had killed. He admitted that he ‘like’ the girl and Kakashi put him together with the girl as it snows. Finally, they are together. Sasuke is still alive. They went off since their mission to protect the building of the bridge is finish. Naruto manage to inspire a kid, who inspire the other villagers to protect their bridge. As they left, the villagers named it Naruto bridge.

OP is a filler as Luffy was with this guy while the others are wandering around. Anyway, next episode would be when they meet Ace. ^-^ In Yugioh, evil boy who looked like Kaiba managed to make Makuba scared of Kaiba. Lots of chatting, etc. In the end, Makuba with evil boy escaped. Yugioh showed Kaiba a picture of the evil boy with a cohort of his father. He wondered why the evil boy never aged and looked like him. I think he is a clone or not a real person – computer generated or something. Malik is bored so he went exploring and found a secret base. This filler arc could be just explaining Kaiba’s past.

PoT is in re-run. Tomorrow would be the last episode of SP. I have found a site, which tells what would replace it. It would be replaced by a typical love triangle. Boy magician is not really good but then, two girls think otherwise since his genes have the possibility of having the best magician genes. It is like Onegai Twins but then, when it was mentioned magician, I thought of Harry Potter. ^^; I haven’t seen what it looked like yet. Our cable channel line-up would be finish by Oct 15 so I might be able to see the new anime as to what it looked like. I wonder when they would start charging for wowow.

In MGS1, I finished of the helicopter then went to the snow field to finish of Sniper Wolf. She said she was waiting for her death since ever since she was born it was all fighting. She died. Then, Snake went into the basement where metal gear REX is located. After fighting off with Raven, Indian looking guy, I manage to get the detonation code but instead of stopping it, it runs. Then, Liquid tells all. He was pretending to be Snake’s sensei who is already dead. They never got the codes and pretend to have it so they tricked Snake to putting in the code for them. The government is covering it all up and was just using him for they had injected Snake with FoxDie which can kill people depending on how it was programmed. Naomi made it and wanted revenge against Snake who killed her ‘brother’ Gray Fox and benefactor, Big Boss – Snake’s father. [There is a past story here. I don’t know if it was from a different game or it would be in the new MGS3.] Somehow, Naomi changed the program. Liquid then started blabbing about genes and I get a gene lesson like he was Snake’s brother having the bad genes of Snake who got all the good genes of Big Boss. He is quite angry that it was Snake who killed their father who thought of him as trash. I suddenly had flashes of the ending of Angel Sanctuary here. ^^; Twins with one having the good things while the other one, the bad ones. Then, he can be at ease, if he killed off Snake.

I had fought this one a few times and it was because of clumsiness that I got killed ^^; because I got stepped on by Metal Gear Rex. Anyway, I learned the basic types of fighting and attacked it when it uses its laser. After finishing off the radar, Fox ninja cyborg helped Snake. He cannot face Naomi because he was the one who killed her parents and took care of her as atonement for his sin. He was used by scientist as test experiment. Liquid finished him off and he was quite happy since he can finally rest. Then, I finish Liquid off by hitting him while he is on the pilot seat. Otacon made Metal Gear with a flaw just like humans. After finishing it off, Liquid is still alive and manage to grab Snake. I cannot understand why does he have to remove Snake’s shirt or whatever. ^^;; Then, he blabs again that it was his genes that made him that way. Now a conspiracy theory - the US gov’t had been involve in gene therapy. They tried to make the perfect soldiers so they used the genes of the best soldier, Big Boss to produce clones of him. They are really eight but they should trim off the others so that the fittest would survive so the two of them are left. They need Liquid to get the recessive genes while Snake got the dominant genes. [I hope I’m calling the genes, right.] So, they are killers from the start. The genome soldiers [foot soldiers around the base] where also clones of theirs so Snake was basically killing his siblings. They are not perfect because of assimilation. I forgot this already from school. So the genes are dying so they need the DNA of Big Boss to correct it. Then, the Gulf War soldiers were also injected with FoxDie that is why when they returned that they have different sickness. Then, he tells Snake that the government is now planning to blow them all up.

The colonel, Snake’s main contact, apologized for lying since they used Meryl, his niece to control him, he would delay the nuclear attack but was stopped by the Sec. of defense and asked if Snake had the disc of virtual testing of Metal Gear. He said no so the secretary said it was okay since he would just blow them into kingdom come to keep it all a secret since it would be a disaster if the other nations know that the US have been developing Metal Gear. It could easily be covered up. Then, Liquid wanted a duel with Snake by a fist fight in a time limit. If it was pass the time limit, a bomb will explode along with Meryl who turned out to be still alive. I failed finishing him off within the time limit. I had stopped playing by then, since I thought I had finished it.

I had finished the title scene of the avp. Sigh, many more scenes to go. ^^; I did some silly mistakes and it turned out better that way. Hehehe Talk about luck. About that Japanese drama, I think it should have dawned to me way before what the title was since it was flashed at the end and I wasn’t paying much attention to it since I looking at the poses of the actors.

It is simply Number One. As the blog said, it is a special so it is a 3-episode drama. No wonder many famous stars were able to cameo in this drama. It ended much like Love Scar – that’s it? type of ending. No. 1 guy would marry his fiancée since he wanted to be the no. 1 in her life. No. 2 guy’s woman had left him for her husband who was a policeman since he asked for her to start again. I wonder who this guy was. Hehehe, he is really bsho. ^-^ No. 3 guy was arrested by the police for selling medicine from school to the Yakuza. He had ruined his medical career and it was his girlfriend who told the police for she cannot bear to see him fall that low. The newcomer became greedy for money that in the end, he realized what is more important which is his family and since he failed to save the no. 3’s girlfriend from committing suicide. He went back to work at his family’s construction business and in the end, I’m not sure here but the club asked him to return if he wanted to. That’s it. The next drama is about a dysfunctional family, which doesn’t look quite interesting.

I managed to watch Super Gals after asking people here to wake me up for it. Sigh, the things I do for anime. Ya, I’m pathetic. At first, I thought it was Ran who wanted to go to her father’s work. It turned out to be her little sister, Saiyo. They almost have the same hair. ^^; Anyway, it must be those ‘go-to-the-workplace-of-what-you-want-to-be-when-you-grow-up’ reports. Saiyo wanted to go with her father but it was his day-off so she went with his brother. They are a family of policemen including the mother and it was only Ran [as I have read in a review] who was reluctant to join. With Saiyo is her boyfriend[?] and both wanted to be detectives. As her brother was telling what he does, some guy wanted to kill him because brother had arrested him for no parking fees. That had caused him not to pay his debts and made his family separate from him. Brother knew it was a fake gun so the guy threw some expensive vases, which he caught. Saiyo and her bf followed the guy and learned more of his story. Because of misunderstanding, Ran and her mother followed Saiyo since they thought she was kidnapped though her brother kept on telling him that she wasn’t. In the end, Saiyo had helped the man keep his promise with his daughter and to start again. Her boyfriend gave her a badge and they were happy. Brother teased Ran of being envious, as their father had cooked dinner and waiting for them to come home. Mm..lots of cute girls and boys here. Hehehe

The new schedule is Rave is replaced by PA then it is Yugioh. Rave is moved to the Saturday schedule before Super Gals. I was flipping channels and came across the other station’s anime called Super Yoyo. What do you expect? It is about yoyos. ^^; A bully was stealing yoyos from those who cannot compete with him. Here comes Spiky guy who try to learn it in order to get the yoyos back. Those who got him into it was his two friends [a boy and a girl who would seem to be a love interest]. Then, he won but wasn’t able to compete with the typical bsho kid [looked like Kurama of Yyh], who is good at it because his hyper yoyo is the upgraded one – used by advanced players. Spiky guy wanted to be good at it. Then, there would be more duels here then later on tournaments, based on the anime which have toys as the basis of the plot.

Elections is near and it is time for the, as a bus driver said, frog hopping of politicians from one party to another so that they can get a higher position since their own party won’t support their political dreams. Today, the president would supposedly announce if she would run and discard her promise that she would not run. According to the surveys, a tv host-senator is in the lead of the pack whether it be for presidency or vice-presidency. Then, as I kept on telling people to register since they would get a ‘cool’ id, they say that it might not push through. ^^;; Okay...we were promised to have an id before but as of now, it is still that piece of paper saying to present it in case you want to get your id. Well, the people registering are still low than expected. It could be either that it is hell to go through registration especially if you had transferred address or it would be the typical last minute habit. The hell, I heard, was that in Manila Comelec [Commission on Elections], it is so poorly ventilated that men had removed their shirts while women were perspiring as if they just came from a heavy downpour. It is more irritating to see that the officials are in air-conditioned rooms. Then, after the long lines, they would say, get this paper photocopied 10 copies. Our secretary said that it would be better just to say that you are a new voter for less paperwork.

The local drama had I was following had went to a really boring part. Sigh, it is when things could get better, they drag it or change what would be a good scene. The two rivals had started to fight through dancing – who is the best tango dancer. ^^;; I would have laughed and it was really weird for them to wear black on a birthday. Okay, for us, it is a sign of mourning especially for those traditional people but then, I would not wear black on someone’s birthday party or wedding. I’m not sure if it is a trend now.

I guess times do change like before, mourning was in black but then, some time later, it became all white with that black plastic pin. Speaking of tradition, that movie in the making, Mano Po 2 had the husband with three wives or rather one wife and two mistresses. I think that is an old tradition since women who become mistresses of a rich man since they cannot feed for themselves. Read Joy luck Club for an example of this and I do think that it was based on that. There was one nice mistress, one mean on and the wife is just plain. Iirc, even in China this is no longer practice. When I mean mistress, it would be they know the other exist and they live in the same house just like Chinese and Japanese emperors before. I don’t know about Koreans though. Now that I think of it, maybe they don’t know each other exist in Mano Po. ^^;; Oh ya, Mano Po is about Chinese-Filipino families and was a hit before so they made a part two.

Some manga updates: Saiyuki Reload is in the past right now from Sanzou first shooting his first youkai to introducing each other [him and Goku]. The second season is currently playing in Japan and they say that the art is good much like in the movie though it might be filled with fillers since the second episode seem to be one. OP – the flashback is finished as the others are still running from the sinking Jaya Island. Robin told the others that Eneru is after the Golden Bell as Luffy is still climbing up to beat up Eneru and save Nami. He didn’t know that Nami is already saved. I think Nami is also coming up to tell him she is fine. HxH is in the human-eating bugs arc, which as some people say like in a bad cult monster movie. That Taekwondo manga had already ended and they say that it wasn’t that good. Lastly, they are going to make a DVD special movie on FF7 regarding a few years after saving the planet. It is called FF7: Children of Advent. It won’t be fun without Sepiroth, right? I don’t like Cloud’s skin tone very much though. Anyway, here is the link.

Argh, the computer kept on hanging that it is kind of frustrating already. I just have to keep on saving, I guess. ^^; Anyway, while watching No. 1 Male Gigolo, I noticed that there seem to be a lot of familiar faces here. I was looking at the no. 1 guy in the club. He looked awfully familiar – somewhat bsho but not quite and I have seen his name somewhere. Then, I heard Luna Sea’s lead vocal singing at the background. There are also some scenes of him playing the piano in that all white house of his. At the credits, the opening and closing songs are by RK. Oh ya, Jettv edited the opening and the closing so it was by RK. Well, in short, I figured out that it was the lead vocal of Luna Sea – Ryuichi Kawamura. There are almost no sites about this one and I had confirmed it on a blog but the Japanese title is still unknown. Hehehe...he looked a bit gayish here especially his voice – it is somewhat soft and a bit girly. It is a wonder how his vocal voice is quite different and well, I guess that is one jrocker moving on after his band split up, aside from singing, he is into acting now.

PA-Oh well, just another typical fighting episode. Cliff is starting to irritate me. On to the story, Cliff wanted Ryo to fight all those who kidnapped his friends. His friends are unconscious and tied to different parts of the amusement park. Yugo isn’t quite happy with what her brother is doing since she can relate to Ryo for she wanted to go back to her normal life and they were just being used by Eigregory and as I wrote before, this Cliff had a huge ego so he doesn’t care and wanted to get Jabberwocky as his trophy. First, Ryo manage to finish off the old muscular man by hitting his head too hard that it damaged his nerves. Then, he is fighting against goggles guy, Cyclops who can slash things with his two blades and have flares from his eyes. Ryo managed to fight of Jabberwocky from coming out. Ryo really have things cut out for him, he have to fight of the ‘thing’ inside him and the enemy outside. ^^; Anyway, Yugo couldn’t take it any longer and gave a tip for Ryo to fight in a more advantageous area. Yugo got hit by Cliff and scolded at. That area had lots of lights from the amusement park and surrounding buildings. It looked nice – the effect of the neon lights.

Sis gave me Philip’s avp for me to continue mine. He re-did everything so that means, I have to do it all over again. I hope we can get this to work in the end. It is already about 19 megs and when I tried to convert it to a flash movie, my computer hanged. So, I played it within Flash and yes, what Philip and his brother did was really good. I hope I can make my part just as good. ^^;; Their special request was don’t let anyone know that they made it since they don’t want to be asked to do that again for favors. I thought it over and I also don’t want to announce that I made it so I might make a codename. I had the urge to put chibi Ginji in it hehehe

I was going to follow the Japanese drama in Jettv which is about a doctor but it had already ended and I have seen that it was at episode 10. Japanese dramas are usually short and ends at the tenth episode so it isn’t dragging. The new one is I think it is a Chinese title since I cannot find anything about it, it is called No. 1 Male Gigolo. At first, I thought it was about Yakuza since they are in suits and from their looks, they can pass of as Yakuzas. ^^;; But then, they seem to be in a club so I can presume that they are gigolos.

I guess it is a stereotype for good looking men in suits would be thought as gigolos like Yuuto of X and Kyouji of GB. Well, it is about the life of a gigolo based on the first episode. A kid, Ryunoske [wrong spelling ^^;] is in dire need of money and no one would hire him so a guy asked if he wanted to since he have that ‘face’ = round like egg. So, he tried it but he isn’t quite the ‘hots’ since he had shaved his hair. He actually looked somewhat like the local action star here R. Padilla, maybe because of the expressions he makes. As the newcomer, he has to clean toilets, carry some ‘napkins’ outside and could be attacked by ‘gigolo hunters’ and gets ordered around by the others. He wasn’t use to it that he got fired when he had a fight with Kaze. Next is Toma who is a medical student who could be doing this for his tuition fee. He had a friend whom the lead likes. Next is the no. 2 of the club, Kaze who had an uneasy relationship with Ryu but he is the sempai for Ryu. Kaze had fallen for a married woman who was beaten up by her husband. Lastly, the no. 1 of the club, Mi-something who had the looks, can really swoon the girls. He decided to quit for a while so Kaze became the no. 1. I still haven’t seen GTO drama actor who is in it, too. Anyway, this drama looks good.

PA- They decided to take a break by going to their houses. Ryo passed by Yugo and went to his house as he apologized to his mother for not coming home for such a long time. Yugo went to a car to see her brother Cliff who belonged to the Ex-army group of the Eigregory and just like the others groups, Cliff had a huge ego of wanting to finish Ryo/Jabberwocky. His group is competing with the other cyborg soldiers who were ordered to get them. At Takeshi’s place, he tried to tell them about himself when they were attacked. Actually, it is more like cyborgs being beaten up and a little girl faced him. At Hayato’s place where Al is also living, they found cyborgs all over the room and Hayato’s grandfather flying to the ground. They faced of with an old muscular man. At Ryo’s house, Kei called him to warn him then she was attacked by a guy with googles. Ryo told his mother to move away then cyborgs attacked his house. He doesn’t care if his mother saw it but she was held hostage. Ryo had no choice but to give up. His mother smiled and told him that he should never give up in a fight no matter what. She just shot the cyborg in the head and took down the others. Ryo was in shock and disbelief. Anyway, there are other things she did which could make me say, she is really one ‘kick ass’ mom. Hehehe [Pardon the expression]

His mother reprimanded him for forgetting his father’s lessons so she decided to give him some lessons from her like always be alert in one’s surrounding, always be prepared for everything possible that may happen, etc. His mother helped him escaped as she continues to shoot the cyborgs with two guns using both hands. One of the cyborgs realized that she is a well known solider before who was missing in action. I didn’t get her name. At the playground, she told him that they [she and her husband] took him from the lab and raised him as their own. They knew that this day would come so they trained him in battle skills when he was young. Even though he didn’t come from her, she knew that the parent love they had was real. Then Cliff communicated Ryo telepathically. Cliff told him that they are the Ex-army who are super humans and have ESP. He wanted him to go to an amusement park so that he could save the other ARMS.

Sigh..the channel isn’t delayed on time yet there are too many cuts on Project Arms. Maybe for the ads- ah, they are being greedy again. They learned that the Katsumi-look alike is Kei who also had ARMS and she works for the Blue Men. She asked them to come with her to an abandoned warehouse. Then, she challenged them so that they can join Blue Men. She is quite haughty as she was able to attack Hayato and Takeshi easily. Ryo noticed that her ARMS are on her eyes. Kei explained that she could read people’s moves and emotions through thermal energy being emitted by people so she is called the Queen of Hearts. She claimed to can control everyone’s ARMS but Jabberwocky shouted that it isn’t so. Ryo’s ARM attacked Kei but Ryo managed to stop it using his other hand. Kei got freaked herself out.

They are about to leave when Kei told them that they have information about Katsumi. They went with her to the Blue Men’s lab. Eigregory is into inventing biological and technology stuff which is used by some governments against other governments so the government protects the group. Some rebels manage to get stuff like the ARMS from Eigregory and formed the Blue Men Organization. When they arrived, there were a lot of salarymen-looking people who rejoiced since they have waited for those who have ARMS. They learned from the group specifically from Chu Yan, woman head, that there are three survivors from the town. From the files of the Eigregory, it was Al, Kabuto and Katsumi. Ryo decided to find her. Then, the four of them were trapped inside by mystery guy Blue and tried to force them to join. Ryo doesn’t want to for he doesn’t want to get into the two groups problems and his only concern was Katsumi. The two joined them and left. Ralph asked Kei if she wanted to join them and Kei said that she doesn’t want to work with those stupid guys.

Somewhere, Keith is happy that the Blue Men got the information for it was just a trap. Hope is what he can use against them for they still hope to go back to their normal lives. It seemed that during that time, Jabberwocky had slashed Keith’s face. Well, Keith wanted Jabberwocky for it is an ARM, which can destroy all ARMS and is very useful for war. Meanwhile, the Eigregory goons, which are surrounding the building so they can follow Ryo and the others, were attack by two people. I’m not sure with the names. The guy is Cliff with one-length hair in business suit attacked them without using anything. They seem to be cyborgs or something. Along with him was a girl, I think I heard sister, Yugo who asked him if they should go against their boss’ wishes. Cliff said it is for the good and they would just use their brains to get Jabberwocky. Great, I’m now confused as to where these people came from...maybe from Blue Men. Anyway, everyone wanted Jabberwocky and well, I guess it is special since it can literally talk and have a mind of its own. That shoves the others to the sideline.

Regarding their codenames, it was from Alice in Wonderland. It seemed that the Japanese people are fascinated with this story. Clamp had used it. Kaori Yuki used it in Count Cain. Getbackers also use it for the little girl in Brain Trust. She looked like Alice and was holding a stuffed bunny rabbit with a clock. I’m sure there are others but it escape my mind now. ^^;; Speaking of GB, I found it. It took them 2 years to conceptualize GB basically notes and stuff. It seem to be the artist’s first work as he isn’t use to being called sensei at first. I was wondering why Ginji calling Ban as Ban-chan for I remember they are of the same age. I found that Ginji is older by 8 months but Ban still acts more mature though at times, not. ^^;; Oh ya, I saw from a site that aside from GB = Getbackers, it can also be = Ginji and Ban. Cool.

The cable didn’t follow their channel line-up so maybe they won’t make wowow in premium after all. ^-^ Jettv had some really nice shows especially on food – Japanese food. My sister’s friend lend her Love Scar vcds. It is only 3 discs at 80 minutes each so that means Love Scar is short. Just heard that it will end this Friday and maybe to be replaced by Chinese Ghost Stories. I doubted a bit if this would click since it is set in the olden times like in Fushigi Yuugi but then, I remembered that Asian horror movies are doing here lately so maybe, it will. I do think some of the costumes are really nice though when I glimpse on it on the Taiwanese channel. Back to Love Scar, I wanted to watch the dubbed version so my mom watched the ending of the vcd. She considered it boring and the girl isn’t good looking. ^^;; Okay, I guess good looks is important. It was not a happy ending just a so-so ending. Nobody ended up with anybody sums it all up. Anyway, the good things from this drama are how nice Japan or rather Kyoto is during autumn and Jacky Cheung’s songs are really nice. I tried to determine what the lyrics meant. The opening is about the person you love was not me theme while the closing is I have been loving you then suddenly, you have changed. Both songs were really sad and I like it.

I peeked at Yugioh in Cartoon Network as to where the story is and I was quite surprised that it was a rerun. They just showed it and it is a rerun already. Anyway, the local station would be showing Yugioh next Monday but there was no time. I was thinking it would be before Rave since that Mexican soap is ending. The rival channel is showing anime at that timeslot so it would be convenient to place it there. The other anime there is Zoid – huge dog-like robots with pilots and Baki the Grappler which in my opinion, have art that I cannot stand like a huge muscled guy who had a face of a girl complete with lipstick. ^^; It is mostly fist fights and that’s it. I guess Magical DoReMi have ended. It is for kids – 4 training kid witches as they try to help people and hide it from other people.

Talk about delayed reaction, it is only now when I wondered about what happened in PA. ^^; If they were born in labs, wasn’t the ARMS attached to them then on or it is like, they are sent outside the world then plant an accident or was it just pure coincidence that they got injured where the ARMS are attached then sent to the world then wanted back. It is confusing and well, hopefully they would iron that out. Also, it would be quite stupid of Katsumi to actually want to stay at the church, which would be the most likely past that the Eigregory group would blast. But then, what are the chances of her being still alive? With the technological advancement there, it might not be quite impossible.

There are a lot of cuts in today’s episode. ^^; Jabberwocky Ryo managed to get a hack at Keith’s helicopter but they retreat as Keith said that next time, he will know how to deal with him. Most of the time, Ryo is recovering from Katsumi’s death and almost willing to change into Jabberwocky to kill off some soldiers who were after him. Hayato and Takeshi chased after him as they try to pacify him. They managed to stop him from killing off the soldier when what Hayato said reminded him of Katsumi. Ryo went out alone as he figured out stuff near a river. Just then, his ARM acted up and saw a girl asking if he really have an ARM, too. Ryo was surprised for she looked like Katsumi. Ah so, that’s why they killed off Katsumi.

I really think SP would be ending this episode since there was no opening song only putting the credits as the episode was being shown. A lot of talking is happening here as Pacifica enjoyed the sunrise with her brother, a little talk with Leo among others. Meanwhile, a huge army is starting to move from the kingdom. Near the end, they must have arranged for Pacifica to meet with her twin brother, Forsis in some shrine. They met and hugged. Before I know it, the two were stabbed. Everyone was shocked. The Kasull siblings went to Pacifica as Chris and another guy went to Forsis. Suddenly, the shrine was under attack. The Gambit-looking guy must be Mauser who appeared as somewhat a white huge creature calling out for Shannon. Shannon was quite angry and transformed to a black dragon and started causing havoc. That’s it. I guess the next episode could be the finale.

In MGS1, I used up all the rations as I went up that tower since the enemies just kept on coming. After crossing that walkway, I would just have fight with Liquid Snake in his Hind D [helicopter]. This would really need a lot of ‘deaths’ to finish since I have limited rations and with a few tries, I’m getting better at it.

Mm..I think I would like this Jettv since they have shows of Japan well, specifically Hokkaido, food, something like a chef-contest, a Jap drama and some travel documentaries aside from the Taiwanese programs. These programs have Chinese subtitles so I can understand it a bit. Hehehe I went to its website and there was only one anime being shown. I don’t know the titles and it looked shoujo.

I watched All Southern Stars’ 25th anniversary concert. There songs are fun though I liked most are the three songs. One is the ocean type song, forgot the title again, the other is for JAL ad and lastly, a song which I have heard the Chinese version that was sung by Jacky Cheung. I was humming along with it then I realized that I didn’t hear it first from the group. ^^; I tend to like songs for their music and well, I don’t really listen to the lyrics. Hehehe Sometimes, a good song is ruined by lyrics like I won’t be singing those lyrics and that is why I rarely look for the meanings of foreign songs. I did think that Filipino song by Parokya ni Edgar “Mr. Suave” is fun...the tune especially the “hoy..hoy...hoy part. ^^;;

Oh ya, I always forgot to mention. The blood test on whether I can take the new medicine was okay so I’m now taking the new medicine along with the old ones. Nii said that it couldn’t be changed suddenly. Now, after two weeks, I would have a blood test again to see if it is okay. I knew it. It happened before when the medicine was replaced before. I ended up taking more blood tests to see if my body is adapting well to the medicine. I would see Nii after two weeks.

In Yugioh, Kaiba wins his game. I think that even though Yugi and Kaiba are enemies in the game, they care for each other like, “hey, don’t lose to this guy, you must play with me and only me.” I wasn’t able to pay much attention to what Makuba feeling guilty about that and that Kaiba doesn’t really care about it because Makuba is the most important for him, because I was watching simultaneously with One Piece. In One Piece, they have met Mr. 2 except for Sanji who was in the kitchen. That cat-fish which they wanted to eat looked like a welcoming/beckoning cat with one hand up. The preview didn’t have Ace in it like in the manga where it should be so maybe it is somewhat like a filler.

PA-Now, it is Dr. Marie Catus. ^^; So, she showed them the other experiments, which have failed when the ARMS are attached to them since the genes in the ARMS [metal with their own mentality and had nanomachines] are not compatible so they have decided to make their own ‘people’ so those who have ARMS are from the laboratory. Marie told them that Eigregory had a rival, The Blue Men [ Not sure if I heard that right. ^^;] had started their own ARMS’ project and the one who started it was Shuiichi [not sure again], the guy whom Hayato thought to be his father. They were interrupted by Keith’s attack at the town and they are killing everyone. Rey and ‘Dragonfly’ didn’t like that so they tried to destroy Keith’s group. It was Chief Yamaga who told the board of directors about Marie’s betrayal. After recovering from the shock, Ryo and others have decided to help the others.

Before going outside, there was a short romantic scene between Katsumi and Ryo as she said that she will wait for him no matter what then gave him a kiss. She told him that she would say something to him when he returns. If you know clichés about that, you would have a bad feeling. Outside, the helicopters killed off Chief Yamaga. I guess no one should be alive coming out from that town. Then, a bit encouragement of Rey and ‘Dragonfly’ to Ryo and Takeshi respectively. Mm..’Dragonfly’ actually looked good before she died. ^^; Oh ya, Takeshi saved her before she dropped to the ground before. It was too late for they weren’t able to save anyone as they try to go back to the church. Al and Kabuto had already left. Last scene – Katsumi was playing the organ as she waited for Ryo. She thought of their times together and she didn’t know when she had fallen for him. Then, she must have heard him and went outside. They saw each other and just when Katsumi is running outside for him, rockets fired into the church and there goes the first major casualty. Ryo was too shocked that he was still standing there with hands out stretched. Hayato and Takeshi saw him and tried calling him for them to run. Ryo was then called by that voice again, saying if he needs power, he can give it to him and that he is Jabberwocky. It ate up Ryo as Ryo transformed into well, like a red demon monster...looking up at the helicopters. Then, the end was Katsumi again saying she accepted and love him whatever he was and she will always be there for him. That love scene and of Katsumi saying that is really nicely animated.

Well, the cable had moved Wowow to the premium channels so that is the Japanese/English channel. The three lacking in those premium channels are mandarin, english and cartoons. I’m thinking that the Mandarin will be Star Mandarin movies. English might be Cinemax. I cannot think of a channel, which had cartoons exclusively except Disney or Nickelodeon. Anyway, Wowow is still free for now so I hope they won’t change that anytime soon..until SP finishes or if ever, the extra charge isn’t too pricey. The one that replaced it is Jet Japanese. This is the Taiwanese version since there is a Philippine version. So far, no good programs here. There is a huge banner underneath like a cable signal search so I cannot read the Chinese subtitles if they show Japanese programs and there are Taiwanese programs there. Just like JET Phils, they are fond of j-pop mtvs especially of Ayumi Hamasaki’s. The mtvs are their commercial breaks which can be cut off anytime. ^^;;

The Chinese version of GB vol 22 is out. I was very happy but no one is going there for now. ^^;; The cover is summer with a background of sunflowers. I have read the translations for this volume in a blog. There will be an OP spread out for Jump wherein they are getting ready for a basketball game. The opponents are shadowed. Usopp is a cheerleader hehehe. Not as fun but it is okay. I think they are going to continue the Sky saga already after a long flashback on how Jaya Island went up to the sky.

Naruto – the little boy was trying to get the other townspeople to help in the fight and in the end, manages to. Naruto was about to kill the girl when she changed her mind. She teleported in front of her master in order to shield her master from being killed by Kakashi. Her stare shock look after being stabled made me think she is still alive but well, she is dead. Her master was happy that she was of use, which made Kakashi and Naruto angry. Sakura asked where Sasuke was and after going to Sasuke, she cried for it was confirmed that he is dead. Well, I do know that he is alive in the future issues so maybe they revived him or something. Then, just when Kakashi was about to attack the master who cannot use both of his hand, a group of men arrived at the scene.

It is already in the afternoon when I realized that it is Saturday and I forgot to watch Super Gals! ^^;; Baka me. Geez, I got to set an alarm since I’m not used to the time slot yet just like Scrapped Princess before. Speaking of SP, the cable is indeed re-channeling and I got a peek on the line-up which I don’t know if it is permanent or anything but the wowow have disappeared so that means, I might not be able to watch SP anymore. Sigh, I was hoping that they would do the re-channeling after SP finishes. Anyway, so far today, it is still there.

When cable shows advisories like we would have a re-channeling and we would give you lots of more great channels with exciting programs. I’m scared. Why? Because that means downgrading the channels. The firs time I saw that is in the first cable we had. All the nice channels which I watch for its anime had disappeared and replaced by stations that I don’t watch. We changed cable for a cheaper and have the ones that disappeared and before you know it, the same advisory and the channels had vanished. It was quite understandable since the first cable bought the other one. Now, it is happening again. My sis told me that the agent had told her that this cable had bought another one, Destiny, which was the rival of the first cable. The first cable have a greater scope here. So, I did found where NOW channel is replaced to. Time to memorize numbers again. The Taiwanese channels are still there though I’m not sure of the one which showed One Piece since I have to re-check what it is called but that line-up never showed up again.

Then, there is those premium channels which means you have to pay extra to see this. The ones I saw that I’m interested in are Chinese movies, English/Japanese movies and a certain cartoon channel. I don’t know if it would show Western cartoons or are we talking about anime. Anyway, let’s just see since they are still in the progress of doing it. I wouldn’t really change a different cable since this is the only cable which have lots of Taiwanese channels = anime. Sigh, I might be much ‘ado-ing’ about nothing.

Ginji: Warning! This entry is quite long.

*glomps chibi Ginji after seeing Maria glomping him like a stuff toy again in the manga and tongue out to Ban* I was planning to finish my part of the avp this September and I learned that the Philip [sis’ fiancé’s friend] would also try to finish his part this September. Hehehe He and his brother are already at 20+ page of the album. They are pretty good in Photoshop and I saw what they did in some of the pictures...I want to cry in envy especially the cover for the disc for their cousin’s wedding. It looked really professional and well, it was really good compared to the one made in the studio. I asked how they made the heart [for the avp] that looked so 3d and he said it is a secret. ^^;; He did reveal that his younger brother made it himself. Anyway, I must persevere and try to learn more since they did self-taught themselves on Photoshop. As that digital photographer said before, learning the software is something but using it in your own way – art techniques for it is another thing.

I got bored with Love Talks even if the lead is a bit good-looking and well, looked familiar. Secretly in Love can be quite boring at times but the situations are somewhat typical shoujo. Let’s see Ya-nen, the girl disguised herself as a boy cannot seem to get the guy. Another girl whom her cousin likes, like Ya-nen. Another girl is after the guy. Another guy likes Ya-nen the girl and is getting attracted to Ya-nen the boy much to his dismay. I was hoping for her to get the other guy than the lead guy who seemed to have some hang-ups in his family life but from the ad, it would be unlikely. Ya-nen’s cousin is the one who usually fixes things up. And, just like in Hanakimi, the guy learned that ‘he’ was really a girl. By the way, the other guy is also the same guy in the beach arc when Shan Chai ran away to work in Meteor Garden. I remember him because of his name – he was also a singer. I didn’t see the name of the main guy and I don’t know him. I’m bad with faces. ^^;

I did learn that the star of Bright Girl and Love Cindy [a soap that I don’t know about because it is at the same time as Project Arms] was popular in Taiwan and those drama are quite popular in Taiwan. I guess the station only shows dramas, which were popular already in Taiwan before here since Endless Love is popular. Back to the topic, her name is Chan Nara. I’m not sure if the Korean spelling is correct and it turned out that she is also a singer. Her voice is as cute as her looks. She has a movie, which I have seen from time to time in MTV, Hallmark [Chinese] and Arirang which is Oh! Happy Day and it looked that she is a stalker of a guy but as usual, her character seem somewhat like in Bright Girl.

I had skipped Premonition of Love since sis said that most of the time, the lead girl was being bullied. I get tired when it is too much that only the last few scenes when the heroine vindicate herself. Okay, it is base on the classic Cinderella story. In Beautiful Days, the older sister is looking for her younger sister who ran away from the orphanage and she wasn’t able to go to their meeting place since the older sister got into an accident. The older sister tried her best to look for her by working at a record bar and met her younger sister once as a thief. It turned out that the boy had a brother. I think he is the one who owns the record bar while the brother is the one who is a producer of records. The younger sister had just lately auditioned for a singing contest and wow, can she pull the two girls’ hair since they are trying to overtake her place in line. I think it would be a sibling to sibling love. I was trying to find which sister is the one I saw in the ad...I really think she looked pretty. There is a Korean actress who is quite popular in HK and Taiwan that major studios wanted her to star in their movie. Sorry, I didn’t get her name. Just like Chinese names, I have a hard time with Korean names unless repeated to me lots of times.

Star exchanging seem to be quite popular like Chinese, Korea and Japanese moving through different markets to make a name for themselves for example, BoA from Korea made it big in Japan. There is a Japanese horror movie which had some of the ‘in’ people who are good in making horror. One of them included the writers of Ring and another guy from the Cure [a movie that I wanted to watch before but the schedule for that movie made it difficult so I missed it] and the director who is good at making horrors. The title is Ju-on or The Grudge. Just like the ring, it is a grudge curse and if you got involved in it, get ready to die. A caretaker went to a house to take care of an old lady then saw a ghostly white boy with no eyes – it was all black. He looked like a mannequin. Then, she found out that the house is cursed and the previous owner had killed his wife and son there. I’m not sure but I do remember someone looking like Sadako there. ^^; Then, whoever goes into the house to investigate the death of the old lady dies – killed by the wife and her son. I wasn’t that scared when I first saw the preview which had just a lot of flashes of scenes but if I try to recall, I would scare myself. ^^;; There is already a part two of it about some people who wanted to see if it is really haunted. ^^;; It made a star of one of the characters there and was a bit popular in Korea. Anyway, this will be made into a US film.

Love Scar is the usual love triangle and this time, the two guys are brothers and the girl did liked both of them except the other one is much younger that she had a fling with him before. I do recall that it was broken up because the mother didn’t approve. Anyway, most of the time, well, for episode one, Jacky Cheung’s songs are featured. It is a great way to plug one’s album. ^-^ The younger brother and the girl first met at a trip in Japan which looked like Kyoto and it was autumn so the trees really looked nice. ^-^ The hotel looked expensive. The type which the Yami no Matsuei gang went to while they are in Hokkaido. I’m sure there is a hot spring in there. The older brother also works in Japan so at first, I thought it was all shoot in Japan but they have to return to Taiwan where the main family lives.

The local soap that I’m following had turned for the worse when the other martyr twin does a stupid thing. Argh. I thought it would be great when the more interesting twin would do something against the villain but they kept on dragging it on and on. I quit and it was suppose to have ended this month. I wonder what would they replace it with oh ya, the game show. I’m guessing where they would put the new programs they had hinted. Yugioh might be after that Mexican soap which seemed to be ending. Hana Yori Dango might be after Meteor Garden but then from the list that Asher gave me, it is still a long way to go. They tend to show 1/3 of an episode each day and it is currently at episode 17 of 31. Mm..about two months more. Then, I saw the ad of Chinese Ghost Stories with Barbie Hsu as star for this October..it ruined my guessing game. So maybe, it would replace the Mexican soap then after Rave ends, it would be Yugioh. I cannot believe that I’m following that action soap which is about solving crimes. Basically, they went to ghost stories and it became interesting, as a killed prostitute possessed the girl partner of the detective as they try to find the killer. The other channel is hinting of new shows and I was thinking maybe to replace the boring soaps that they had. I just saw a villain there drinking Muratic[?] acid which is use for cleaning toilet floors of scum. I do remember my classmate in high school that drinking acid like the one mentioned is the most stupid way of committing suicide because the acid would have burned your esophagus before it can kill you. In the end, you would be alive with a huge tube to help you eat and it makes matters worse. That classmate wanted to be a doctor and now, she is one.

Oh ya, our cable had been re-channeling and NOW channel which had a few programs on games are missing. I’m not sure if it is for good or had gone to a different channel. On to Project Arms, at first, they are at the losing side. Mr. Face copied Hayato’s mom’s face that reminded me of a scene in Bleach. ‘Dragonfly’ caught Takeshi and was about to drop him off from high above. Ryo is using his arm to protect himself from Rey’s onslaught. Then, Keith was reading about the Project Arms with different names for each of them. He is the griffin. Takeshi is the white rabbit – he snapped when ‘Dragonfly’ dropped him that he used his feet to jump way up and smashed her wings and she is now doing the drop. Hayato is the knight – he slashed Mr. Face and said that he already accepted that his mother had already died then claws suddenly came out, stabbed Mr. Face and well, Hayato slashed him pretty bad. Ryo is the jabberwocky[?], which is a wild card since it is uncontrollable even for the Eigregory group. Rey started to stomp on Ryo’s other hand that suddenly the arm merged with his whole body well, a bit on the face and the left arm and manage to toss Rey away. Then, it killed Rey off, I think since the channel cut it. I was guessing that it was too violent. Anyway, they re-group with the others then at the church, they are welcomed by a woman scientist, Marie Curtis [The dubbers are eating their words so I’m not sure] who willingly wanted to show everything to them since she doesn’t really believe the same things as the others. The other scientist quickly informed the upper boss about what happened and that Marie had freed the townspeople from mind control. After leading them in the basement laboratory, she lifted the doors and Ryo’s awful dubbed scream can be heard. They really need to work on those screams. ^^;; Somewhere, Keith with many helicopters went off to the laboratory. He mentioned that his group is Akinasawa. Another group from Eigregory? Anyway, he was looking forward to fight off with Ryo.

Hehehe..and the split up turned really ugly. ^^; I tend to read the column of the publisher and he mentioned there that he scolded the editor for putting that split up in the headlines but it seemed that the editor wasn’t repentant. Later on, he learned that all of the issues of their newspaper were sold out. It does seem that everyone is talking about it since it is a break from the usual political stuff and well, it is more fun than dramas on tv as the two are washing their dirty linen for everyone to see.

I went to the bookstore for a short while this afternoon. I guess it is a good thing that the money is not enough since I’m tempted to buy that Dilbert book about weasels. I read it for humor. ^^; It is still hardbound so it is quite expensive. Just have to be patient. I looked at the Japanese Comickers artbook again and decided not to buy since there are only a few things I like there. I just bought a Color Harmony book on pastels. It seemed that prices of books had went up after the sale or something since the book cost about P700 and according to the cashier, it was P900+. The teller said that price had gone up and it is conflicting but she gave me the usual price. Lucky. ^-^

PA- and so they are fighting again. ‘Face’ can move his body in anyway he want and he can copy anyone’s face. Gash Ray’s [Bison] whole body is cyborg metal. ‘Dragonfly’ has insect eyes so she can follow anyone and she is pretty fast. Ryo got angry as a voice said that if he wanted power, he would give it to him, then he destroyed Ray’s arm. Kabuto prepares his gun. Katsumi had a flashback when they first met and fears for Ryo. Ryo’s arm ate Ray’s metal arm and he cannot control it anymore. Hayato and Takeshi managed to fight off their enemies. Al is trying to put a brave face that he doesn’t need friends and Katsumi had to hug him to hush him up as the townspeople approaches. Kabuto distracted Ray and Ray tried to kill him since outside people should not see it. Ryo’s arm blasted him and it went out of control. Ray decided to retreat.

The exits out of the town are guarded. Kabuto noticed that the townspeople are all missing men and criminals who had escaped. One of controlled people died on them. Al said that every one of them had a memory implant in the brain so they are controlled but it isn’t perfect so if they cannot stand it, they die. Al said that it is useless to tell them to wake up for Eigregory holds the police and government under them and that they have to destroy whatever is causing the sound waves to control them. Eigregory group is on genetic and DNA so they created the arms, cyborg bodies and cyborgs of the kids. Ryo reminded that the guy said something about cannot hear the ring of the bell so the three head of there as the others under the care of Kabuto hid off somewhere. This is reminding me of Soryuden. Anyway, Ray got himself fixed up and powered up. The end was a face-off between the two groups at the church.

MGS – and so, it is shifting to be about genes and stuff. I managed to kill of Psycho Mantis who reminded me of Henya [RK] ^^; after a bit of chat saying that he is like Snake who have no past and helping them feels nice. Basically, he was a psychoanalyst against criminals since he can read their minds but he merged upon them too much that he became a killer. Then, Snake and Meryl head to the communications tower only for Meryl to be shot by Sniper Wolf [woman]. I have to go back all the way to get a sniper to fight her. Then, Meryl was missing and I got caught, questioned and finally tortured. In the torture, there is to submit or not. I learned that there are two endings here since if I submit, bad ending and if not, good ending. The problem is that I cannot push that O button fast enough to keep Snake alive. ^^; So, I opted for bad ending for now. In exchange for submitting, Meryl will be killed. Great. Next, Snake managed to escape prison with the help of Otacon and got a cold. I thought it was some other soldier who was sneezing. ^^;; And I’m off to go to the communications tower again to stop the Metal Gear from launching a nuclear missile.

I haven’t thought that split up would cause such a headline that it was in the newspaper headlines today. I guess most people just love gossips. It just diverted the important issues to it. I found myself listening to both sides to figure out who is telling the truth. I really need some psychology tips on this. Anyway, the girl’s story is that her boyfriend hit her and pointed a gun on her that she file a blotter. The guy’s story is that the girl just went berserk on her own and started hitting him. She threatened him that no one will believe him if they went public..blah..blah. Why she went berserk? According to the guy, it was because of some girl’s text about asking a permit. My detective skills need sharpening since sis immediately said that why would just anyone ask the mayor [guy] directly about a permit. Good point, that would be for corruption...anyway, I don’t think people would care much regarding later on when a new gossip or happening appeared. The guy is running for congress next election so I think, he really need to be defensive that he is appearing in a lot of shows for the station he works to show his support. I just don’t like his chauvinist remark about girls just have those days when they suddenly go crazy and he is telling it to the girls who are interviewing them. ^^;

It does seem that kidnapping is increasing as according to the news. There was one case near our place. The target was the owner of a hardware store. Well, he was caught in traffic and was using a different car. The ones who were kidnapped were his wife and two other relatives. The one who cornered them was a cop on a motorcycle somewhere near here and some other car at the back. They thought they have a traffic violation. The driver was freed. They negotiated and manage to lower it about half. It is in millions. After three days, they were freed. Lately, there are some people who are going to their factory and asking where the owner is. The car has no license plate. My mom said that it must be some other kidnapping group. If these things happen, it would be no wonder when people who want out of this country in a hurry. A reason was that the police are all focusing on terrorism. For me, as they say, election is near so some politicians need money. And ya, it is believed that the police are involve in those kidnapping that is why people rarely report it.

Well, Scrapped Princess was indeed pre-empted last Tuesday. It will continue next Tuesday. In Project Arms, they had no choice so they just thrash the guys who hijacked their bus. Katsumi went with them and manage to convince Ryo to take her with them. There are two guys and a girl watching them from the forest. As usual, these people don’t want to obey the order of not messing with those with arms. ^^; From the way it goes, Al would always annoy Hayato and Al would get a punch on the head. ^^; Hayato’s hometown is still intact that he went out to try to figure out things. Ryo and Katsumi got some firewood and food. Katsumi had brought some things to protect herself and that she wanted to be with Ryo no matter what. Then, they wonder if Ryo’s father knew all these things would happen so he trained Ryo. Ryo confide that he fear that one day that the arm would engulf him and might hurt others since it becomes uncontrollable at times.

It was night when Al berated them for being stupid as to notice that there is something different from the town for there are no children. Mmm...I have seen this plot thing before in some other anime/cartoon. Anyway, they were suddenly attacked by mind-controlled townspeople. Someone was whispering to Ryo that suddenly his ARM went berserk. They retreat since Ryo doesn’t want to hurt more innocent people. They split up with Al and Katsumi then met up with Hayato. They are faced by the three people who planned the bus hijack. They are human cyborgs and call their group as Crimson Triad. One is huge who seemed like Bison of St. Fighter though he really reminded me of a guy in GB who was a vampire, I would call him Bison for now, who wanted to fight Ryo. The woman who have dragonfly wings will fight with ah..I think it is Takeshi while the skinny guy, Mr. Face[?] will fight with Hayato. Meanwhile, there is someone at the police named Kabuto who wanted to know the truth about the building damages, which involved Ryo and the others that he tracked them down to the town.

Well, I checked the link that Asher gave me. Yup, not much spoilers and it helped me check the spellings of the name in Project Arms. ^^; Keith easily destroyed ‘Jason’ robot and killed off Jin [one of the twins] since Jin was called a coward. The others decided to protect Al [the surviving twin] and Keith lets them go. Keith told Hayato that he was clueless about everything and told him to return to the village where he lived before to know it and that they are brothers. Ryo [former Ryu] brought Al to his home then Ryo later joined the others to Takeshi’s house. Al offered his help since he wanted to avenge his brother’s death. They went to Hayato’s house and got attacked by Hayato’s grandfather. They were outmatched. ^^; Hayato’s grandfather knew Ryo’s father but he didn’t reveal much since he wanted them to see it for themselves. Takeshi isn’t hostile to his sister anymore and Ryo made Katsumi [former Natsumi] stay since it was too dangerous. On the bus, they were hijacked by some hoodlums who knew who they are. They must be from the Egrigori [former Agregory] group. Oh yeah, there is no Scrapped Princess today. I do not know if it was moved or something but the channel was showing Taken – Spielberg’s alien tv show in Japanese dub.

About names in dubs – before the anime shown here are given English names but somehow along the way, they started using the Japanese names of the characters. It is good though since it would be easier to research on the anime with the Japanese names though it does need getting used to. Much like the Chinese dramas that are shown here. They are using Chinese names. To be honest, I’m not quite at ease with Chinese names since they tend to sound alike that is why I do not quite like tests on Chinese history -English. The names are difficult to memorize. It is easier if it is written in Chinese than English. Anyway, the Korean dramas being shown have English names though. It seems weird to name a main character as Johnny. ^^; Sorry, but I somewhat think it is quite old fashion name.

About that flash anime attack ad, the other anime titles that I have seen are Angelic Layer, Tokyo Underground and Fruit Basket. I find it somewhat amusing since showing of lots of anime was first started by the rival station. So, first, rival station showed a lot of anime that it was even showed on primetime. The other station showed lots of local and Mexican drama. Before you know it, the rival station followed. Then, the other station showed Meteor Garden. The rival station showed lots of Chinese and Korean dramas. Now, it is back to anime for the other station. Anyway to be fair, sometimes it is vice-versa copying of programs. ^-^ And now, it seemed that the two stars of both station who used to be an item had broke up and of course, each station is supporting their own talent. Oh yes, they tend to exchange talents like if one star isn’t happy with one station, to spite, he/she moves to the rival station. These two stations are always fighting for the ratings and awards.

I watched two documentaries yesterday. The first one in National Geographic is about traditional Chinese toys. There are some quite complicated ones like the links-chain wherein you have to remove chains a certain way to free all the links of the chain. I do find it quite ironic as it was mentioned that 1/3 of the toys in the world are made in China but most are Western toys. I really wonder which is true as to the generation these days and the past, which is more intelligent. Some say because of the computers and access to the internet, kids are more intelligent but then, there are those that it was the kids before because simple toys especially the chain-link puzzle can make kids think and use their imagination.

The other documentary was entitled Rouge meets East which is about a guy in Chanel who is looking for a new color of red for lipstick. He found the ones in Japan. It is quite interesting and red is one of my favorite colors. One is from a dyeing shop while the other one is a lab which can make paper which glow in the dark. In the end, he found new colors like red with a tint of blue and red with a tint of yellow. They are just prototypes.

In Yugioh, Honda was possessed that he tried to attack Kaiba. The others came and a robot monkey managed to distract Honda. Since he was trapped, Honda took Makuba, Kaiba’s little brother. He rode in a motorbike and well, for the coolest scene here, Kaiba followed in a motorbike, too. It looked good since he was wearing a stench coat. ^-^ Then, he got stopped at a bridge by a guy dressed like the invincible man. ^^; They duel and in the end, a huge rocket flew up and launched a satellite. I’m beginning to notice that I tend to watch Yugioh more intently when Kaiba is there that I watched the Cartoon Network episode tonight. ^^; In OP, they are sailing again as they celebrate Chopper being their new member. There are a lot of filler here to fill up one episode. Ace looked nice in a black stench coat so he is an eat-en-run type of guy. Hehehe Mr. 2 is introduced.

In Project Arms, Hayato taunt the ‘Magician’ as they are cowards for hiding themselves so he got beaten up. Ryu doesn’t like that so he managed to make his arm into a cannon and using rocks as the thing to hit ‘Magician’ and it was destroyed. Ryu was about to hit ‘Jason’ but Maya is still on him so ‘Jason’ managed to escape. Takeshi is still cowering in fear and well, hopefully the final sermon about Takeshi not alone, they are there for they are the same. Takeshi and Ryu managed to figure out where the two twins are hiding. One of them said they give up so Takeshi went to Maya. Then, the boy said that he hated school for they are being bullied so Takeshi related with them for he was like them. The other kid was hiding in a cabinet and shot Ryu but Ryu managed to shield it with his arm. Keith, special agent of the Agregory group arrived and told the twins that he is going to exterminate them as told by the group for snooping too much and going against the order of brining the ones with arms alive. Hayato tried to smack him but he was too weak and got slapped back. ^^; Ryu was shaking in fear as Keith went closer for the twins.

While watching this, I saw an ad of the future anime shows the station is going to show. It was flashed so fast that I wasn’t able to remember all. The ones I do are Cyborg something, Lady something, Astroboy and Hana Yori Dango. I wonder if the dubbers of Meteor Garden would be the same as in HYD. Meanwhile, the other station has another Korean soap, Beautiful Days, which is about singing, I think. I didn’t notice that Poor Prince had already ended. ^^; Beautiful Days is about when they are still kids. A boy visited a school wherein a singer went to. It looked like a province. It was the birthday of the younger sister and he crashed into her and her sister’s celebration. The younger was a brat that she doesn’t want her sister’s drawing so the boy gave her his watch. The sister said that he shouldn’t have done that so in exchange, the boy took the drawing. Later on, the younger got the singer’s autograph since she dreamt of being one and went to show it to her sister who was holding a kettle of hot water. The younger sister was accidentally splashed with it. Then, they brought her to the hospital. And I was right in my guess, the other channel will be showing that drama with Jerry Yan, Jacky Cheung and Karen Mok[?]. The title was ___ Scar. It is to compete with Endless Love of the other channel. They are rivals and have a tendency to try to compete with each other to the point of almost copying the kinds of programs shown on the same time slots.

I got a call from the high school batch president’s secretary’s assistant[?] asking for a current picture for the yearbook. I guess they are making a what-happened-to-this-person type of yearbook. I was asked again of my college course, have a family [since most of my batchmates are married or attached], occupation, and etc. Unfortunately, I’m not in the mood to give out any current pictures of mine. The guy must have been puzzled when I asked if it was okay if I don’t give any picture and leave it blank. He must thought that I’m nuts or something. It was weird that after asking all of those questions, he told me to send it to email to another person, the secretary with the picture. I said, didn’t you just asked me all that, why should I repeat it there. He said just to make sure. Okay...it is pretty weird. Oh yes, he introduced himself as a guy in Inquirer [a newspaper here] and I was musing that this is a side job like this isn’t related to the newspaper and well, I guess the batch president had a lot of power in there. I heard that he is the vice-president of the ads department or something. Anyway, for me, I think it is unethical since it wasn’t work related but well, who am I to say that, he should know what he is doing there. About the picture, I wonder if I would just give them a cartoony sketch of myself. Hehehe

In MGS, I managed to play for a short while. I had defeated the ninja and saved the scientist who wanted to be called as Otacon, which is short for otaku convention. ^-^ He invented Metal Gear and is into what he does because he want to make mecha. I went to get the girl in the restroom and faced with Psycho Mantis. I have to cheat a bit on how to defeat him since if I do it on my own, this would take hours since I spend most of the time ducking from the things he tosses and kept on ‘reading’ my moves. I’m stuck here for now. MGS’ message is more or less about the danger of nuclear weapons, philosophies on war and other stuff.
